Bonnie was a dream to work with!
We had worked together a few times before so she had an idea what I was looking for and actually recommended the caterer that we chose (who we loved!).
She made planning the songs and time-line really easy and had great input where we needed it.
During the wedding she made toasts really simple and naturally integrated into the party, she made announcements at just the right times and other than that she kept it about the wedding (hard to find in a DJ).
Most importantly she kept everyone out on the dance floor through the very last song! We have amazing pictures of everyone dancing and having a great time (from the kids to the grandparents and everyone in-between).

We used Music by Bonnie for our vineyard wedding in September and were beyond pleased! Bonnie DJ'd the event and was so wonderful. She's professional, cool, upbeat and so lovely to the guests. She really knew what we wanted and listened to our musical requests etc. More importantly, she really kept the vibe going and knew how to read the guests and what they wanted to hear. I loved her. My husband and I had so much fun listening to music. She also helped us coordinate a classical guitarist for our ceremony and he rocked! The music was beautiful and I'll always remember it as I walked down the aisle. This is an exceptional business that really cares about their clients...book them!!

I was lucky enough to have Bonnie DJ at my recent wedding. For me, the music was very important. Bonnie was kind and patient as I emailed her numerous song lists. She made every effort to play our kind of music without any of the extra "DJ emcee stuff" that I didn't want. She was extremely professional and easy to work with. She was a pleasure to have at our wedding.

Bonnie was our DJ for our June wedding and she was absolutely GREAT to work with! Both me and my husband just loved her! We didn't give her too much direction with the music and everything she chose was just perfect. She did the amplification for our ceremony, music for our cocktail hour and our reception. I had trouble picking out a song to dance with my Dad too, so she picked one out for us and it couldn't of been better! I even got a little teary dancing with my Dad! Bonnie really is good at what she does and is just a wonderful person to work with! I highly recommend Bonnie as a wedding DJ! :)

Bonnie was the best. She was easy to work, flexible, and affordable. During the day of the wedding she showed up on time, set up quickly did an excellent job of making announcements, creating a great song mix, keeping the energy high, insulating the bride and groom of any potential issues, and was just generally a pleasure to work with. My wife and I chose Music by Bonnie (Bonnie Hope, http://musicbybonnie.com/) as the DJ service for our wedding in May 2011. Bonnie not only helped us with the standard DJ fare for our reception, she also put together a special amplification package for our ceremony, which included live singing by two choirs in a challenging outdoor acoustic near the beach at Chase Palm Park. My wife and I are both musicians and knew exactly what we wanted for the ceremony and reception, and Bonnie helped us actualize our vision with all the necessary attention to detail. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Bonnie was easy to work with at every step of planning and execution. She was more a friend than a vendor by the end of the reception.

We requested Bonnie and she was terrific! She provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had given her a list of the music we liked and she incorporated everything beautifully. Because of her experience she was able to give us plenty of information on the does and don'ts.

Bonnie was a delight! We provided her some songs that we absolutely wanted to play that day and she did a good job adding to that list. We're from Texas and had some Texas country on our original play list and she did get a little friendly with cheesy country music, but we mentioned it to her and she immediately changed it up. Our party was on the dance floor the whole time to music we all loved!!

Bonnie is a great DJ! She is really great at getting people out on the dance floor, and a lot of people commented that the music at our wedding was unusually good. She's not an entertainer, so she's not going to do any annoying stuff to draw attention to herself--she's all about the music. This is exactly what we wanted, but if you want someone who's going to be telling jokes and stuff, that's not her. She is flexible and happy to play whatever you want. We wanted a mix of music we like and more standard wedding stuff. She did a great job putting everything together!

What can I say? Thanks for everything this past Saturday at Lincourt.....

Hilary said it was "her dream wedding" and the parents called me yesterday to say that it was by far the best wedding they had ever been to. Their friends agreed.
The music was killer perfect. Thanks so much for the extra schlep, etc...

I just love Bonnie! She was so patient with us as a couple. We gave her short notice for our wedding...and on top of that had very specific music we wanted played. We supplied her with our own cd's with music and the DJ played everything just as planned. He was the best. Right now i can't remember his name....normally i can...right now it escapes me. They were so professional. Also i liked that they LISTENED to what we wanted. We didn't want the chicken dance and we wanted some very obscure music. They helped out so much and didn't once complain that what we wanted was beyond what they could provide. Music is very important to us and our wedding music turned out PERFECT. Just PERFECT!! We made a cd copy of all the music and still listen to it. Tell them exactly what you want and you won't be dissapointed. ROCK ON!

I wish I could give them even higher marks! The service from beginning to end was flawless. Even with some complications, our DJ handled them perfectly. He read the crowd well and everyone had a great time. They are a great value and wonderful to work with.
