Bonnie was amazing!! She kept people on the dance floor all night. She was amazing on keeping the the time line of events going. She would be my recommendation to any one!!

I cannot even begin to express how happy we were with Music by Bonnie! Bonnie was the DJ for our wedding and she handled both the reception and the ceremony. The planning process was painless and she was so receptive to all of our questions (not to mention all the times we changed our minds on our music selections). When the big day came, I didn't spend one moment stressing about the music. Bonnie was set up, ready to go, and even came over to calm us down before the big moment. She played an excellent variety of music that catered to all in attendance, and the dance floor was packed all night. I would recommend Music by Bonnie to ANYONE who is looking for a DJ for an event. Personally, they are the only company I will ever use again!!!

Music was important to us when planning our wedding - and we were planning it far away from the Ventura/Santa Barbara area, so we weren't able to meet with any DJs. After researching some options, we began communicating with Bonnie and after one phone call with her, we never looked back. Bonnie was marvelous to work with! She's honest, professional and has a passion for music. Even though we loved working with Bonnie, we didn't personally get to have her as our wedding DJ; but she booked us with Larry... and Larry was just as wonderful! He was the perfect balance of mellow and enthusiastic. We highly recommend the Music by Bonnie team!

We loved having Julia (one of Bonnie's DJs) work our wedding, her professionalism and demeanor were just what we were looking for. She was able to keep everything moving and make sure things happened at the appropriate times without taking over the wedding or putting the emphasis of the evening on herself at all. She kept on top of the timeline and kept it running smoothly, but frequently would check in with us before switching to the next thing to make sure we were ready, as it was our wedding and she respected that. She also did a good job sticking to our music suggestions but honoring requests made by guests as well (which we indicated we wanted her to do). She balanced out the styles of music well to make sure all guests had something they enjoyed. There were people on the dance floor the whole night.

We had them contracted for 5-6 hours, but how it ended working was great, she would just check in with us as the night wound down asking whether we wanted her to start wrapping it up or keep it going, so that she was sure not to end the night before we were ready. It was just what we were looking for. Working with Bonnie and Julia was a pleasure and helped make our wedding a success.

I had the pleasure of working with Bonnie for my wedding on Sept. 21, 2012 and I can't believe I've waited even this long to post a review! The ceremony was perfectly executed and once the dancing started at the reception, it didn't stop until the speakers were unplugged! I know that there were a number of requests, both from us and the guests, and Bonnie found just the right way to fit everything in and keep the party going- which was our top priority! From the moment we were introduced to Music by Bonnie back in January, we knew that we were sold. We can't stop talking about how perfect our wedding was... and it couldn't have been possible with out them. Outstanding service. Bonnie worked with us closely throughout the entire preparation process and assigned a DJ who was professional and FUN! We were searching for a DJ who knew not only the right music to play, but also how and when to talk with the crowd without going too far, and she nailed it. Bonnie was an incredible vendor to work with from start to finish! At our first meeting, we immediately knew we wanted her for our DJ. Bonnie is very professional as well as friendly and personable. She gave us a thorough description of what to expect the day of our wedding. We communicated through email and she always responded promptly. We emailed a last-minute question to Bonnie and she called me within 15 minutes to discuss it. She was absolutely amazing during our reception. She kept everything moving seamlessly. Bonnie had all ages (from 15 to 99) out on the dance floor! Our guests are still calling us to say how much they enjoyed our celebration. We used Bonnie for our ceremony music at our wedding at Alice Keck Park and reception across the street at USSB. Her services were wonderful, the music at the ceremony went on without a hitch and the music at the reception had the dance floor full all night. She had a great mix of music that appealed to both my friends (20s-30s) and immediate and extended family (40s-60s).

She was incredibly easy and pleasant to work with and worked well and communicated effectively with all the other vendors I used.

I initially was hoping to spend a little less on the DJ, but as I started to look around at my options I realized that all the services that Music by Bonnie included (ceremony music, microphone, etc) really made her prices affordable. She did such an excellent job at the reception that I really feel like her services were worth much more than I had paid!

Awesome DJ. Played all the right music and kept all our guests dancing all night long!!! We had a list of songs and she incorporated them really well with some smash hits that got everyone dancing at one time - from us to our parents and our grandparents. It was a blast! The dinner music was romantic but not cheesy. She knows how to read a crowd and has a great selection of music. She also made me feel super comfortable with everyone and let me know she had everyone under control every step of the way. I'm so happy we went with her. Great choice!!!

Bonnie really nailed it for our daughter's wedding. A BIG help even way before the wedding in not only suggesting music ideas, but also guiding us through the mechanics of the ceremony and suggesting other vendors. On the wedding day itself she was on time, very professional, and made the reception a lot of fun. Bonnie will always have a special place in our hearts for what she did for us on such an important day.

Bonnie was a dream to work with!
We had worked together a few times before so she had an idea what I was looking for and actually recommended the caterer that we chose (who we loved!).
She made planning the songs and time-line really easy and had great input where we needed it.
During the wedding she made toasts really simple and naturally integrated into the party, she made announcements at just the right times and other than that she kept it about the wedding (hard to find in a DJ).
Most importantly she kept everyone out on the dance floor through the very last song! We have amazing pictures of everyone dancing and having a great time (from the kids to the grandparents and everyone in-between).

Music By Bonnie provided DJ services for our wedding. I LOVED the services she provided. She is a happy, cheerful, calm, sweet person and is really, really good at what she does. She matched the mood of the room perfectly, picked it up at the right points and kept everything right on schedule. Even my grandmother was "cuttin a rug" :) I had the best evening of my life and Music By Bonnie was a huge part of that. She is the best choice, don't bother with anyone else.

We used Music by Bonnie for our vineyard wedding in September and were beyond pleased! Bonnie DJ'd the event and was so wonderful. She's professional, cool, upbeat and so lovely to the guests. She really knew what we wanted and listened to our musical requests etc. More importantly, she really kept the vibe going and knew how to read the guests and what they wanted to hear. I loved her. My husband and I had so much fun listening to music. She also helped us coordinate a classical guitarist for our ceremony and he rocked! The music was beautiful and I'll always remember it as I walked down the aisle. This is an exceptional business that really cares about their clients...book them!!

We were really fortunate to have chosen Music by Bonnie to help us make the most of our special day. She was very professional but still had a personality and was amazing to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly and even offered to help us contact some of our other venders that were not being responsive. On our wedding day we had to change our cocktail hour music due to the venues rules but she handled it in stride and never missed a beat. Our entire event went off without any sound disturbances; which was great because I have been to a lot of weddings that experienced technical difficulties and it tends to disrupt the vibe of the wedding. Bonnie was also really great about reading the crowd and playing the perfect music for every moment and our guests have complemented us on how much they loved and enjoyed our music. We would definitely recommend Bonnie to not only was she a joy to work with but she was also very price competitive which is always important because it is really hard to stick to your budget.
