Modern Bride made my wedding day unforgettable. My gown was gorgeous and fit like a glove and my bridesmaids were simply radiant. We received so many compliments and guests are still talking about how beautiful we looked. All of the staff worked so hard to have my gown and my bridesmaids dresses perfect and ready to go for my big day. I can hardly thank them enough for their time, effort, and organization...I wouldn't have been able to do it without them! Thank you, Modern Bride!!

I purchased my bridal gown from Modern Bride for my September wedding. They were very helpful in working with me to set up convenient appointment times and flexible when I needed to change those, though they weren't able to do the fittings on the weekends which would have been the most convenient. The only reason why I gave a 3/5 for quality of service was the alterations. I was encouraged to buy a size 6 instead of a size 4, and ended up having to have 2 series of alterations at my expense to bring the dress back down to a size 4. On the wedding day, though, the dress fit perfectly. Regarding other alterations, one of the bra cups I had inserted was sewn in by their seamstress above the neckline of the dress, but they were able to fix this very quickly for me. The only problem we really had was when it came time to bustle the dress at the reception, one of the bustle loops was less than half the size it needed to be to fit the button in it. We had bustled it at the store, but this must have been changed during my second alteration. Five moms and wedding attendees could not get even a 1/4 of the button in there, so we ended up tying the bustle loop in the corset, which looked awkward in photos. Had I of realized the bustle loop was small, though, I'm sure the ladies at the store would have fixed it immediately.

I bought my dress while visiting my family. The dresses are definitely more affordable in NH, than in CA where I now live. Modern Bride was able to get my dress in time for it to be bustled and sent with my mom out to CA. I appreciate their work in that. However, my mom had to turn around to pick up the other merchandise we were supposed to receive along with the dress, that was never given to her (thankfully I remembered). They were very apologetic, but it is slightly ridiculous to forget to include the the garter and veil with the dress. Also, the free peep-free case that they offered as a gift was merely a long white plastic bag... I could have bought one for $0.25 on my own. They ladies were helpful, but seemed to always try and sell. I really loved my dress and was happy with their selection. Just take your time. Finally, I was very disappointed that the bustling, that I will give them some credit for being done on a mannequin and not me (I gave them my height..the dress was the perfect length for me), however, the bustle broke before I even hit the dance floor for my first dance with my husband. We made it fun, but the expensive dress ended up getting turn up a bit from the constant dragging. Definitely check out their selection, but do look around at the other options before selecting.

I found the perfect wedding dress for me and as a bonus, it was on the clearance rack! When I first went, the staff was very attentive and helpful. So I decided that I should have my bridesmaids dresses ordered here, also. Well, I went with my MOH to look at dresses and the saleswoman was extremely rude. I explained to her that I have one BM who lives in NC and would not be able to be fitted until a certain date. She then shook her head and told me that there would be all kinds of fees if I waited to order (without explaining what exactly those fees were or how soon I needed to order).
She kept breathing down our necks the whole time we were looking at dresses and made both of us feel uncomfortable. I picked out the style I liked and sent my bridesmaids to Marry & Tux in Nashua where they clearly explained the time frame that they needed to have the dresses come in on time and what the exact costs were for the rush fees. They were very professional in the whole process of getting my bridesmaids fitted.

After looking at 6 dress shops & trying on 12 dresses & almost settling for one .... I finally arrived ... the first one i saw on the rack - even though i didn't think it was all that - as soon as i put it on - i knew it was "the one." Melinda worked with me from the beginning through all the crazy girl sessions!

Modern Bride is a great place to use for your wedding attire. I ordered the tuxes through here and they were wonderful to work with. They also have a great selection. I got my shoes here to which they have a large selection of.

Modern Bride and Formal Shop outfitted every member of my bridal party with the exception of the me (the Bride). They were amazing with all the alterations, the Mom's, 7 bridesmaids and 11 tuxes to be ordered! They were friendly the entire time (especially Michelle there - she's amazing!) and cary such a wide range of dresses and tuxes that it was easy to get everything in one spot!

I got the dress of my dreams at an affordable price.
They only do fitting during the week so that was a pain.
The separate slip that I bought there kept coming unhooked before I walked down the aisle so I ended up taking it off.

A++++++++ I’ll clear the bias right now…MB is owned by my family and my mother has worked there for 26 years and was my salesperson and I got star treatment so I’m not sure I can write a fair review, however, my dress (Maggie Sottero Grace) fit me perfectly, the hem length was just right and I was in love with my bustle. I was able to get fittings in during the evening after which was very convenient for me. I was also fortunate to find my MOH’s (and only bridesmaid) gown on the sale rack for $25. The tuxes came out great with no issues and it was convenient to be able to give them all to mom to return =)

I would never EVER step foot in Modern Bride again if I could help it. I ordered my bridesmaid's dresses through Modern Bride. I went about 3 months before my wedding and got a lovely Jasmine bridesmaid dress picked out. THe girl was so rude and basically said if you dont' ordered it today it won't be here in time for your wedding. I had all my bridesmaids there so they all ordered them. Then 3 weeks later I got a phone call from Modern Bride saying they were still waiting on the sizes- HELLO WE WERE THERE- YOU WROTE EVERYTHING DOWN! So they said my dresses wouldn't arrive till February- which was my wedding month. I was very upset about the entire thing as I constantly called to see when they would be coming in, to make sure they were there BEFORE the wedding date. As a result of my bad experience I did a review of Modern Bride on The Knot website giving my honest opinion of the place and explained what happened to me. That week I get a message at my workplace from Brian- one of the store owners of Modern Bride to call him. I thought that finally they had an update for me on my dresses (it is now mid January). He ended up calling me again at work later that afternoon and basically said he read my review on line and that I was out to destroy his shop's reputation and threaten me with legal problems. I thought it was amazing that he was actually threatening me AND that he pulled my work number from my file and was harrassing me at work. I would never recommend this place to anyone and i hope everyone stays away from them. Oh yay my dresses did arrive before my wedding- MB did the alternations (were included for free) and the dresses ended up falling apart anyway- all the seams came out.

My bridesmaids dresses was purchased by this vendor. They claim to be able to make alterations but it's false unless only knowing how to hem the skirt alterations. The dresses didn't look right on the ceremony day because they REFUSED to take out around one girl's hips, take in the bust of another's, etc. During the reception, one of the dresses slid down and showed her bra while dancing.
