I like that there is a website that can help walk you through the confusing and cumbersome process of a name change, but $30 is a bit much for simply filling in all the paperwork you then need to print off and send in anyways. I did like that everything is in one spot, and for the busy new bride it is a help. If you are trying to be frugal, maybe choose the old fashioned way.

Wow how much do I love this service? It's organized, accurate, easy to use and a time saver. I've been able to get all the paperwork done to change my name in a week. Friends of mine who went through the process on their own took so much longer (months!) and were so much more frustrated. Every form is up to date and comes complete with easy instructions on where to take it and what to bring. Even the offices I went to were surprised at how organized I was. Well worth it!

This service just seems silly. I checked into using the service, but why would I pay $20 to fill in 2 forms that I would have to hand deliver anyways? I would rather keep my money and just fill out the required applications when needed. I decided against this service and saved myself the $20.

When I was born I used my mother's maiden name. Then she got married and I was legally adopted including my last name being changed. When I got married I wanted to change my middle name to by my mother's maiden name (which was mine on my birth certificate), not mine. I printed all the forms and sent them out only to find out that is not possible until I get a court order. Missnowmrs did not warn me! Now it has been a huge hassle to get my name changed.

This was so helpful in getting my name changed! I didnt even know where to begin, but once I found this site, it took only a few minutes and I was already started on my way to being Mrs. Campbell!! Every bride should use this service!

A friend told me about this website and I signed up. I wasn't in a hurry to change my name (even though my husband was!), but this definitely helped move me along. It made it quite easy and organized. All of the forms were generated with the info I provided and all I had to do was the legwork (which cannot be avoided)... like mailing and going to the sec of state office. Overall, definitely worth the $30.

I don't really recommend this service. I paid for the complete package- and I appreciated the "name change checklist"- but when I brought my completed forms to all my local government offices, no one even looked at the forms. They simply took my marriage certificate and my drivers license and did the rest for me. I ended up throwing out most of the forms.
I have emailed the company for a refund, as I actually wasted time filling out the foms online! We'll see if I get a refund.
Its a good thought but changing my name was much easier than I anticipated.
