Michele is the Best of the Best!

Michele is an absolute lovely person to work with from beginning to end. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. I knew from the start what I wanted but with such a large space and so many details it was difficult for me to put it all together, but Michele did just that. The space was stunning from top to bottom and she thought about everything from table clothes, to center pieces, to awkward areas and bouquets, she helped put together the wedding of my dreams!

Beautiful work!

Michele was wonderful to work with. She's straightforward and to-the-point which is great when there are so many wedding vendors that just try to sell sell sell. She was able to work within our budget and transform the Publick House into a magical location for our spring wedding. The bouquets came out AMAZING considering I had given very little direction and didn't have such a set vision as some brides do. But if I had one... she would have exceeded it in every way. You can't go wrong with Michele!

Fairytale wedding

Michele did the most amazing job with so much for my wedding. My mom has followed her for years on fb and always said she’s gonna be our florist even before I met my husband. Seven years later it was time to plan the wedding she was our first call! She truly made our day perfect. She made a plain ugly ballroom into a magical fairytale setting that was worth every single penny. My guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. She’s the best of the best and truly has a gift for what she does! Thanks so much Michele and her team!

Beautiful!

Michele was a joy to work with! Given that our wedding was at the Publick House in Sturbridge which she had already decked out beautifully with festive-but-not-in-your-face Christmas decorations, it was a no-brainer. But looking back, I can't imagine going with anyone else. The process was so easy, especially for a couple as laid back as my husband and I. The only thing we knew going into our appoint was that we wanted burgundy flowers. We pretty much left the rest in her hands and, boy did she deliver! We got married at the end of December so we really embraced the winter theme and incorporated pine accents into everything. Ah, it was stunning! The bouquets were perfect and the wreathed lanterns that served as centerpieces were beautiful. It was so nice to be able to give her a vision and just relinquish all control. She also has a knack for immediately responding to all of your text messages, but then when you meet with her, she somehow doesn't have any distractions. How does she do this?! I can't say enough good things about working with her.

Wedding 7/718

Michele is incredible!! She truly made us feel like we were her top priority and was super supportive through the budget and decision making process. We went back and forth a few times the weeks before the wedding on our tables (rounds or longs) and she was so helpful, walking me through each option without getting frustrated. She helped me to make the best decision for us and did not push us either way. I can’t say enough about her honesty and professionalism. Our wedding day was perfect with a big help from Michele. We were married on Thompson Island and she made sure that her team traveled over by boat to set everything up. Our flowers were stunning. Thank you Michele!!!

Michele Bernard is incredible! Not only is she extremely professional and an artistic genius, she is so compassionate and truly makes you feel like you are the only bride in the world. She took our vision and completely exceeded every expectation we could have had. Walking into our reception under the tent at the Publick House Historic Inn, I was speechless. It was beyond magical. She transformed a white tent into a romantic, elegant, floral heaven with greenery galore strung all along twinkle lights and draping from the chandeliers. It was something straight out of a story book and we will never forget it. I will recommend her for the rest of my life.

Michele Bernard is absolutely amazing. Our wedding was at Gibbet Hill, and her ability to transform this rustic space into a clean, elegant, classic, glam was unbelievable. Her vision is superior to any other florists I have seen, and her number one priority is giving the client what they want. She fulfilled on this big time, she was so open and responsive to my ideas and offered so many suggestions that were beyond my Pinterest fantasies! Everything was covered to the smallest detail and she created an ambiance that left everyone speechless. I would recommend her over and over again!

Michele's knowledge, skill, artistry, caring personality and accessibility were invaluable to me as I was choosing flowers for my wedding. She helped me make the right decisions quickly and made sure that everything was coordinated properly. She provided gorgeous flowers for the church, the bridal party as well as decorations for the venue, wedding cake and even favors. We were indecisive about the Sweets table, but eventually went with it and our guests were amazed and delighted with it. With her expertise and decorating skills, I literally had to do absolutely nothing to decorate the venue. She handled it all and it was gorgeous, simple and elegant. She is able to provide so much more than flowers and in letting her do so, she saved me so much time, effort and money. So many of my guests commented on the beautiful flowers and decorating. She was there for me from start to finish. And by the way, my bridal bouquet......absolutely stunning.

We can not thank Michele enough for the most beautiful wedding she created for us at the Publick House. We had somewhat of an idea of the style we wanted and she was amazing at guiding us through all the decisions. We had a picture in our head of what we thought our venue would look like. Once we saw it we were completely blown away. It was a million times more perfect than we expected. Every guest table asked who our florist was. We will see you at our 10 year anniversary party. Michele is perfect for both people who know exactly what they want and for those who have a couple of ideas and want to leave the rest up to her! We were in the latter bucket and I could not have been happier with the outcome for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. If you are someone who needs to be updated regularly and need to know all the details of your flowers way in advance, Michele might not be for you; however, I loved working with her and knowing that I had one less thing to worry about. She truly brought our design ideas to life and made both of our events absolutely beautiful - and flower quality is incredible, I only just threw out flowers from our wedding.

Michele was highly recommended by a few of my vendors, and I reached out to her just as the hotels "preferred vendor" florist cancelled on me 6 weeks prior to our wedding. In hindsight, I'm relieved this occurred because Michele was by far much better. Her designs are amazing and her experience shows through her work. We shared the same vision and she was glad to work within our budget without sacrificing quality not one bit. Everyone at my wedding fell in love with her centerpieces and my bouquet was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Please meet with Michele before speaking to any other "high end" "5 star" florist in Boston. I guarantee you will not book anyone else.

Our flowers for the wedding were stunning. Michele really helped us reign in all of our ideas to help create a cohesive feel for the entire day. In our pictures, the colors have a beautiful pop, exactly what we were looking for.

She also provided us with linens and other small accent pieces like votives and candlesticks that helped finish the look of our decor. We used old library boxes to hold our center piece flowers which tied in so nicely with the vintage feel of Linden Place.

Stop looking you have found your florist!!! I have know Michele professionally for over 8 years, when I finally had the chance to plan my day I couldn't even come up with a second option to consider. Michele is talented, professional, and truly cares about your day. She pleased the toughest critic, my mother, in a matter of 5 minutes. In our initial meeting I showed her a few "pins" and gave her a general idea of what I liked. She was able to pull together a full concept in a matter of minutes. The day of my wedding she was a life saver. Not only did she do an amazing job on the bouquets, centerpieces, and all around décor, she helped fix my dress when the zipper broke, and was the go to person for the rest of my vendors. She is beyond professional, an amazingly talented artist, and a great friend. I would recommend her time and time again, she is just that great!

If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further, and hire Michele! She did an excellent job with our bouquets, table arrangements, and boutonnieres, and provided a beautiful finished product within our limited floral budget. Flowers make such a difference in a wedding's overall look and feel, so it is important to go with someone you can really trust. Michele met with us one-on-one and took our very general descriptions of what we liked, and made exactly what we wanted! She was extremely personable and fun to work with, and you can really tell that she is passionate about wedding flowers and learning about each couple's unique style and vision for their special day. I don't even know where to start with Michele's services! She is AMAZING and exceeded every one of our expectations from start to finish. She went above and beyond for us and worked with our budget perfectly! We planned our wedding from afar so we did not see any of the flowers she was using until the day of the wedding and I was blown away when I walked into our venue. All of the flowers that Michele provided for my daughter's wedding on May 31, 2014 were just gorgeous. Michele was extremely helpful in providing suggestions and meeting with my daughter on several occasions to make the decisions for the table arrangements, bouquets, boutineers, wristlets, and special arrangements for the sweetheart table and other tables.
She also provided the table linens and chair covers that were perfectly coordinated with the floral colors. The bridal bouquet itself was a masterpiece. She is a professional in all aspects, and certainly knows her artistic craft well. Additionally, she was a pleasure to work with. She listened, gave suggestions, and then put together a beautiful display of nature's beauty.

I was initially going to do my own thing for flowers. I had an idea of doing a fake flower arrangement, and then for centerpieces, order baby's breath online. A little more than a month before my wedding I was just frazzled, and my mom convinced me to just bite the bullet and purchase flowers. I called Michele, because she works closely with the Publick House, where my wedding was being held. I explained to Michele that I was on a smaller budget, and we talked about what I was looking for and in need of. She also asked about centerpieces, and I told her that I was still planning on doing that myself because of the online pricing. She matched that for me, and I was thrilled, because I no longer had to worry about that aspect of my wedding. I emailed her pictures of what I was looking for. We never sat down together, as I have two small boys and work full time- it's just a busy time for us. I appreciated that we could communicate through email and the phone, and I was able to bounce ideas off of her. A night or two before my wedding, she sent me a text with a picture of these gorgeous pool colored (my wedding color) vases and asked if she could use them as my centerpieces. We were going to originally have plain vases with a pool colored ribbon around them. They were super cute, so I gave her the go ahead. The day of my wedding, the flowers arrived, and they were just stunning. There is no way I could have ever made anything close to the quality and beauty that Michele was able to bring to my wedding. She also included extra boutonnieres and corsages, just in case the originals were damaged for any reason. She also added rose petals to my head table. Little touches that were not talked about or expected just made my reception room that much more beautiful. I don't think I can stress enough how happy I was with her work. She is truly an artist.

While it was mainly my mother who worked with Michele for my April wedding, I have to say that the flowers came out exactly how I wanted them! Michele Bernard provided the flowers and linens/chair covers for our wedding and both were beautiful and exactly what we had pictured. She was super accommodating with planning appointments and assisted coordinating for us with our venue. She really went above and beyond as a florist and assisted us with advise on other aspects of the wedding as well. Our relative is actually a local florist who offered to do the wedding but Michele was just so nice and professional and had such competitive prices we went with her and it was a great decision. I wouldn't go with anyone else especially for a wedding at the Publick House.

Michele is amazing at what she does! And she is so much more than a florist- she is a designer, a wedding planner, a passionate and caring person to help you create the perfect look for your wedding. Michele made our reception special in so many ways. She helped me create a look for our fall wedding with specialty linens, flowers, apples, candles, a candy bar buffet, uplighting...I can't say enough wonderful things. She is very accomodating with her busy schedule and makes you feel like a special bride. She puts 100% into every event she palns and it shows. She was helpful in reccommending other vendors and sharing her expertise in all areas. We had so many compliments on the decor of our reception and on the flowere used at the ceremony. Where do I start? Let me put it this way: I gave Michele ideal images for my wedding reception flowers and décor from my Pinterest board with a (low) set budget and told her to “do what you can” with my expectations being that she wouldn’t be able to do much. The result? I walked into our reception, and not only had she achieved what I thought was only reachable with massive amounts of cash, but what was before me was even more beautiful than I had ever seen on any Pinterest board or in any bridal magazine. I’m not joking. It was magical with pillar candles and the assortment of deep purples and pink flowers throughout both floors of our reception. Our tables looked ridiculous with rose petals scattered all around and supported by backlit candle lighting and candelabras. My bouquet was richly embellished with some sparkling décor in a way that made it tastefully stand out against your traditional bridal bouquets. I cannot emphasize enough how far Michele surpassed my expectations by. Execution and skill aside, she is extremely organized, personable and reachable. She is willing to work with whatever budget you give her, and my experience with her was that she was always giving me extra freebies because she’s just that passionate and committed to making sure you achieve the look you are going for. She’s been in the industry for years and is extremely knowledgeable about everything floral and décor related. Since I got married (early April 2013), I have told everyone who has asked about my wedding about her. There is absolutely nobody that I would not recommend her to. Cheesy as it sounds, I feel like she helped make my wedding dream come true by transforming by venue into one of the most romantic wedding settings I have ever been to. People kept coming up to me at the wedding talking about how beautifully decorated it was. You would be mad not to use her for your wedding!!

Love, love, LOVE Michele and her work. I was very concerned about the flowers. For whatever reason, this was the most important aspect of the wedding for me and she NAILED it. I wanted big and tall arrangements with gorgeous sticks sticking out of the top with orchids everywhere in a very difficult shade of blue-ish/purple I chose...done and done! I wanted a chuppah overflowing with orchids, with the poles draped with white and the aisle with white rose petals...done! I wanted a gorgeous arrangement for our sweetheart table, basically porchids overflowing, cascading down the table...DONE. The roses in the bouquets were the most amazing smelling roses I have EVER smelled.

Michele also made little bouquets for my mom and mother-in-law and made arrangements for my parents' room and parents-in-law's room and they were HUGE and beautiful, exactly how I pictured!!! I would recommend Michele over everyone else for your needs...she is a rockstar! She also send a ridiculous arrangement to our bridal suite and I was STUNNED. You can't order these flowers from 1800Flowers, and isn't that the point? If you want ridiculous service with a top-quality outcome, Michele is your gal! thanks again, Love B & M

Michele did an outstanding job. She is a professional like no other. She wasn’t just my florist she did so much more. She was available to me via phone, met with me several times. Michele Bernard Floral’s was the best decision I could have made when it came to my flowers for the ceremony to the reception. Michele came highly recommended to us, and with good reason. I told Michele what colors and some ideas that I had been kicking around, and she turned the vision into a reality that I didn’t even expect. Not only is she amazing at floral pieces, but her attention to my theme carried all the way through. She turned my love for butterflies into a nice touch of butterflies “floating” throughout the hall. Michele even took the time to straighten the wall sconces & pictures in the banquet hall, which is a pet peeve of mine, to make sure I wasn’t worried about anything the day of my wedding. I wish I was planning another wedding so that I could work with Michele again. Any bride who hires Michele will not be disappointed!

Michele was great!

First off, she was very professional -- easy to get in contact with and always returned my calls within the day. After an initial phone conversation about what I was looking for, she sent me a cost estimate and photos of arrangements for me to choose from. She was always very prompt with that kind of communication, and very straightforward about her services. Naturally, the flowers arrived right on time on my wedding day.

The price was reasonable, and Michele included some complimentary touches, including decorations on the sides of the ceremony aisle chairs, as well as an arrangement for our place card and gift tables. She was great about working with our budget, giving us the option to add more hydrangeas to decrease the price of the center pieces. She actually did beautiful little 2x2 arrangements in our bridal colors for the cocktail hour for $10/table -- who knew wedding flowers could be so affordable?

In general, I'm not a big flower person but I thought the flowers were absolutely beautiful. Really classy and pretty. We had a coin under one wine glass at each table, and whoever had that glass got to take home the centerpiece. I thought that would be fun, but was surprised by how much people were excited to take their flowers-- one friend dragged the thing all over our venue through the night because she didn't want to part with it.

Finally, Michele is just a nice person. She offered to give advice on anything -- flower-related or not, and took interest in getting to know me and my now-husband. Definitely recommend her!

Michele was super easy to work with, we met twice and we were able to work with a price I was comfortable with for both my flowers and uplighting. She even surprised us with flowers for the bridal party to wear in their hair on the day of.

I absolutely loved working with her, she was caring and supportive when (a crazy) bride needed it. I will call her for any events I plan in the futiure.

Michele was my favorite vendor! She was friendly, accommodating and very easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. During our initial meeting, she acted more like a wedding planner than just a florist, asking questions about details of my wedding that I had not even considered at that point in the planning process. She was full of ideas, but never pushed me in any one direction which was reassuring and allowed me to trust her completely from early on. She asked all the right questions and knew from the responses I provided what type of wedding I wanted to create before I think I even knew! Michele saw my vision and helped to create my dream wedding. I was blown away with everything she created, especially the centerpieces for our tables. They were absolutely beautiful and I wanted them to last forever! Lastly, Michele worked within the budget I had set and when I went over that budget adding things she made suggestions regarding what to take out and change so that I had everything I wanted in terms of floral needs for the wedding. Finally, I cannot forget to mention how patient Michele was throughout the planning process. She responded to my numerous emails on a very timely basis and offered additional in-person meetings to ease my concerns as the day approached. Many thanks to Michele! As soon as my husband and I got engaged I knew I would ask Michele to do our flowers!! My sister had Michele do her wedding and after seeing how beautiful her flowers were I knew she would be doing mine someday too!! Michele was great to work with, always had wonderful ideas and has a great vision and creativity for this business!! The girls in the wedding party loved their bouquets and mine was so beautiful! Everyone talked about the centerpieces and 1 year later they still are! I have friends that still put them out and put fresh flowers in them!! Thanks to Michele, I had gorgeous, gorgeous flowers at my wedding. I could not have been more pleased with my bouquet and the bouquets for the bridesmaids (the colors went PERFECTLY with the bridesmaid dresses!), and the boutonnieres, the corsages and the kissing balls for the flower girls! My husband and I received so many compliments on all of the flowers and on the flowers for the reception -- from what I've been told, some of the guests were fighting over the table decorations at the end of the night! The chuppah decor was also wonderful -- I loved how elegant the ivy was, and my husband was relieved that it wasn't too "girly." As I was standing under the chuppah during the ceremony, I noted the accents Michele put on the inside of the canopy. They look amazing in the professional photos, and we really appreciated the touch! We were also so glad that we used one of Michele's chuppahs instead of going with something else because hers was better than anything we had seen in Judaica shops. The hatbox Michele made for the gifts was gorgeous, too -- I was really impressed with it, and we're now using it to store all of the cards we received! Michele is all about extra touches that she doesn't charge for, like including extra boutonnieres for the groomsmen, helping the groomsmen put on the boutonnieres, providing a vase of flowers for the womens' restroom, and having a crew come to assemble and then disassembled the chuppah so that the venue is not responsible for it. Michele even checked in with me and my mother several times to ask if she could get us anything or if we needed any help with anything -- in short, her flowers are beautiful, and she is professional and kind. A pleasure to work with and extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about flowers and decorating options, I HIGHLY recommend Michele Bernard.

Michele Bernard did a fantastic job with the flowers and linens at our wedding. We met on a couple of occasions and based on our conversations and photo comparisons she put together these bouquets, centerpieces, and linens that were exactly how I pictured them to be at our wedding! I cant say enough great things about Michele!! I knew exactly what I wanted and Michele delivered the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets I could ever imagine. Everyone was blown away by the flowers. She is extremely professional and flexible. I cut 2 guest tables 2 weeks prior to the wedding and Michele lowered the cost accordingly! Her pricing is VERY affordable and was FAR less than what all other floral designers quoted me for 3 varieties of orchids, roses, callas, dahlias in shades of orange, purple and chatruese (which Im told are not cheap!). She was generous enough to add many free extras and stayed at the reception site until everything was arranged. Her work was so impressive, the reception site has added her as a prefered vendor! I would not hesitate to recommend Michele! She is amazing!

Michele Bernard did such an amazing job at our wedding! Not only were the flowers absolutely gorgeous but Michele is a star to work with on design and budget. She also provided specialty linens for our event and it all came together perfectly. Michele was exceptional in every aspect she was involved with for the wedding. She would bend over back words to get every bang for the buck! It's been over 6 months since our wedding day and my husband and I still are talking about how beautiful our flowers were! Now that we have our wedding album I can't help but look at the pictures and just admire the colors in my bouquet.
My husband and I had no idea what type of flowers we wanted but after meeting with Michele we knew to trust her with everything! She was amazing at meeting us at locations and times that would work with our schedule and she was always "on call" right up until the last minute! Her work is amazing. She came prepared to every meeting we had with samples and pictures. She also understood right away what look we were going for. Michele goes the extra mile for you and it's very easy to see that this is her passion. She makes you feel like you're not just another bride, but someone special to her. I considered her more like my wedding planner rather than just my florist.

Michele did an incredible job. I’m so glad I meant her at our tasting at the Publick House. I told Michele the colors and theme I was going for, and she definitely delivered. Our wedding ceremony originally was supposed to be outdoors, but Mother Nature decided to rain on us that day. While I was getting my makeup done, she had dropped off our bouquets and boutonnières and told me not to worry because she was going to do something nice under the tent for my ceremony. I’m thinking to myself, how can you make a ceremony look nice last minute under the tent? After looking at how gorgeous the bouquets were, I knew I didn’t have to worry about the ceremony. I was completely blown away when I saw how beautiful everything looked. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting how beautiful my centerpieces and decorations were. Michele also provided us with a Candy Bar, which was a total hit. She saved me so much time on deciding what kind of wedding favors to get. Michele was amazing to work with and went all out to make sure my wedding was perfect! From the chuppah to the moss escort table to the bouquets and centerpieces - everything was absolutely amazing and her work was exceptional. Michele is one of the best florists that I have ever dealt with. My wedding was absolutely stunning! She made me a brooch bouquet that people could not believe. Michele is sometimes hard to get in touch with but that's because she is so high in demand. The week of my wedding I had an escort card meltdown. The company I bought them from messed up and they were not what I wanted. I called her in a panic. She talked me off the ledge, then took all my escort cards and fixed them the day of my wedding. Seriously above and beyond. I walked into my ballroom and could not believe how beautiful it was. She also handled the flowers for my bridal shower too. Everything was wonderful.

If you have a grand vision for flowers at your wedding, but don't want to pay obscenely highly prices, I would highly recommend Michele Bernard. We wanted a mix of tall, showy arrangements and multiple low arrangements with lots of candles at our reception tables. Michele made it all happen within our budget. Not to mention, she threw in multiple arrangements at the Church,sweetheart table, restrooms, etc. as well as let us use her electric pillar candles / candle holders and votive candle holders at no cost. Most venues don't allow flame candles anymore and most other vendors would charge you for the cost of using their electric candles and candle holders -- Michele did not charge us. And no job is too small for Michele -- she even provided several arrangements for my bridal shower.

My only "critique" of Michele's work would be that the arrangements don't last longer than two days whereas the arrangements from high-end florists will last a week. Realistically though, this shouldn't matter for a wedding -- we used our reception arrangements for the brunch we hosted the next morning and they still looked great.

Overall, I would highly recommend Michele Bernard to any future bride -- she is very nice, easy to work with, always available and does great work at a fraction of the price of other florists.

Her work is second to none, I received endless compliments on the flowers, in fact I'm recommending her to a future bride at my wedding. She pays attention to details and she went out of her way to make it a special day. The value of her work cannot be compared, she takes time to find out what would best suit the the bride and budget. I didn't feel pressured and she supported my ideas and plans. I felt that I could not have made a better decision than to hire Michele. We also did the candy bar, HUGE hit, people loved it.

I found Michele as a recommended vendor from a venue we looked at early in our wedding search. As a new bride, I had no idea what I needed for flowers and Michele’s website gives you a great baseline for what some of her packages offer. I did a lot of research and I found Michele’s pricing very reasonable and inclusive for what she offers especially being on Newbury Street in Boston.

The best thing about working with Michele is her esthetic and the fact that you have the ability to rent wedding décor. I can tell you that I was not about to order 200 votive candles and buy table clothes that would sit around my apartment for the next 10 years so the ability to rent was awesome. She has really trendy wedding décor and can make your wedding easily look pinterst worthy!

The flowers and set up on my wedding day were smooth and easy as I was barely involved. I received many compliments on my flowers and how much did I spend?? I had to pat myself on the back because I found her very pocket friendly and you get a lot for your money.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive florist I highly recommend Michele and her team!

Michele provided all of the flowers for our wedding and everyone was SO pleased. I had met with some other florists before booking with Michele--and Michele was the only one who knew our venue and the industry enough to be able to make suggestions/not look to me to say everything I wanted (she somehow just "got" it.) The bouquets, centerpieces, chuppah, and all of the other touches were so beautiful. She listened to exactly what I wanted, put it into reality, and we got way more than we paid for! Michele is sometimes difficult to get in touch with but that's because she is working SO hard to make sure the event she has that weekend goes perfectly (I saw it first hand for my own event!)

Michele was by far the best vendor I worked with. She was always offering to help me with all sorts of random extra things, she threw a ton of stuff onto the flower order which was great because I no longer had to worry about it (card box, candles, etc). And she did an excellent job with the flowers. The centerpieces were beautiful. I had red and orange flowers, and everyone was talking about how great they came together in the centerpieces. Not only did Michele do her job amazingly well, but I was also told that the day of the wedding, she was rushing around helping out with other things. She moved my cake from the ceremony room to where it should be, she put programs out on the chairs, I think she even helped calm my mom down. She was wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

It was a pleasure working with Michele on the flowers for our May wedding. She was a little hard to get ahold of I wasn't totally sure what I was going to get in terms of a bouquet, but I showed her a few pictures and told her the colors I want and I was blown away when I say my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets, just beautiful! I highly recommend her!!

Michele is absolutely wonderful! My now SIL used Michele back in 2014 and recommended we reach out. From our first meeting, we could tell how passionate she was about flowers in general and in making sure she truly executed our vision for the day. Her prices were very reasonable compared to what we had seen elsewhere, and we knew from seeing her previous work that we'd love the result. She also threw in a few things like bathroom baskets and an aisle runner, which we really appreciated. I agree with other reviewers that she is sometimes difficult to get ahold of, but honestly she's just really busy and is always in the car, so email didn't seem like the best route. Any time we called her cell, texted, or set up a meeting, though, she was very responsive, so you just have to make sure to cater to what works best for her. The day of the wedding, we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful our ceremony arrangements and bouquets and centerpieces looked, as well as all the other little touches of flowers and votives around the venue. We're so glad we chose Michele as our florist and would definitely recommend her!

Michele was very attentive to meet the needs of both myself as the bride and my mother who was paying for the flowers for the wedding. She went above and beyond to make me happy; for example she added in isle decoration which we had not originally agreed on or payed for. She is excellent at putting in little details to make your day extra special. Pricing was affordable- in fact prior to meeting with Michelle I had decided on making my centerpieces on my own and bought all the materials, after meeting with her and seeing her prices I was second guessing myself. Michele took the extra step and told me to take pictures of the centerpieces I had already made and made suggestions on how I could improve what I had already worked on and assured me that everything would come together. I would recommend Michele to anyone who is getting married any time soon.

Michele was great to work with and had amazing ideas for our wedding. She took the vision I had and made it into a reality! Sometimes she was a little slow replying to emails, but when she did respond it was worth the wait! I had originally booked with another florist and then switched to Michele. I am so glad that I did, she made our wedding beautiful!!!

Michele is amazing. Words cannot express what she did for my wedding. She made the whole night! She worked so hard to make my wedding dreams come true. All I wanted in my bouquet was peonies but they are typically not in season during the end of July. With the crazy weather this summer it just so happened that the flower market had 20 stems and Michele fought hard to get all 20! She has the most amazing ideas and never tells you no. She makes your vision a possibility! Michele thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me on my big day!

Michele was our florist for our winter wedding in Boston and I am so glad that we got to work with her! The first time we sat down I explained my vision to her and showed her some pictures of flowers I loved (which ironically happened to be pictures of weddings SHE had done!); she understood me instantly. She knew exactly the feel I wanted the flowers to have, the colors I loved, the types of flowers, etc. and it was so easy to work with her. On the actual wedding day, she honestly exceeded our expectations; the centerpieces were stunning, the ceremony trees were better than I had imagined them, she used so many candles that the venue felt incredibly romantic, and she even went to get our RINGS from the hotel across the street because I had forgotten them!!! Who does that?! Most florists are gone by the time the bride gets there! Altogether Michele is a true professional who will put together a stunning wedding for you. In terms of value she was very willing to work within our budget but we ended up splurging anyway; my only critique (and it's not Michele's fault) is that wedding flowers are so expensive, it is seriously insane! But the money was worth it, I had never seen a more beautiful wedding in my life!

Wonderful work!

I found out about Michele through my venue, as she was the preferred florist. Michele did a fantastic job! She did all of my bouquets and boutonnieres, an arch and flowers for the ceremony, centerpieces, table numbers, and escort cards. Michele is very talented and creative. I didn't have specific flowers or center pieces in mind, but I did tell Michele what colors I wanted to use and mentioned that I wanted to use lanterns as part of the centerpieces. Michele did her thing and everything she created was beautiful! Michele is very personable and professional, however at times her responsiveness was a bit delayed. Typically, something like that would bother me, but because of all the positive reviews and amazing pictures of her work, I knew I was in good hands. Michele did not disappoint on my wedding day and I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married!

Michele was the in-house florist for my reception venue (the Publick House). This was a major reason why I decided to go with her, as she was really knowledgable about the site and made sure everything was put together on the day of. My mom put together dried flower and lantern centerpieces, so we did not need Michele to do centerpieces. She did the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, corsages for the moms and my grandma, and fresh flowers for the cake. (Michele brought an extra corsage, which was a nice touch.) She also supplied two small arrangements for the escort card table and the women's restroom for free, which was great. All of the flowers were beautiful, and we worked together to decide what would look best.

The last couple of months before the wedding, Michele was very responsive via text. We met twice during this time, once in Cambridge (near where I live) and once at the venue so that I could see the exact color of the flowers she would be using. Both of these meetings were really helpful, and put my mind at ease. In the months between when I first signed the contract with Michele and when we met again, I had a very difficult time getting in touch with her. She was moving, but I tried calling, emailing, and texting several times without receiving a response. I was very discouraged by this, and pretty stressed out, because I felt helpless. Luckily, she was super attentive when it really mattered, and the end results were great. I just wish I had had a better sense at the beginning what the communication would be like (and that it would all work out in the end!).

Michele was the florist for my April 2016 wedding in downtown Boston. She was able to work with my budget and deliver exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job - everything looked so beautiful at the wedding and exactly how I imagined! The bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres looked perfect and were all delivered early in the day, when promised, to the hotel where we were getting ready. The floral arrangements for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were perfect and transformed the whole look and feel of the venue. Thank you, Michele for making our day so perfect!

We loved Michele! The flower arrangements she provided were simply gorgeous, and all of the little "extras" she threw in really helped to tie everything together. The quality in what she provided was exceptional, and for such a reasonable price! The only comment I have is that she can be unresponsive via email, but she more than makes up for it in person and on the wedding day!

I really enjoyed working with Michele. I went in with a vision of what I wanted for flowers and she ran with my thoughts and the final product was above and beyond what i had originally envisioned. Her attention to detail, and knowledge of the subject at hand are incredible. Even though my wedding was out in Sturbridge MA, she was willing to meet with me when business brought her to the Boston area. In our first meeting, I showed her a picture of my dress, the color of my girl's dresses, and some inspiration photos I had pulled out of various magazines. At our second meeting she showed up with sample flowers, so I could actually see what I would be getting, and we pulled it all together with just a few phone calls towards the end. I will admit that I did have to dig deep for patients sometimes, as she is quite the busy florist, but in the end my patients payed off and I was so thrilled with the end result!!!

Michele's work is unbelievable... my flowers were perfect! I even had made some of my own centerpieces and in the end needed help with them and she stepped in and took over and made them even more beautiful! My only complaint is she doesnt respond in a timely manner- she is a one women show and VERY busy, and for someone like me that is ultra organized it was difficult waiting a week or maybe more before a reply. But, in the end, (we did spend a lot) everything was great and i would recommend her to anyone!

Absolutely loved working with Mechele!!! She answered every silly question at any hour of the day or night! Giving that I really had no vision for flowers she was tons of help. We met with her three times before the wedding to nail down every detail and I did a phone consult with her the day before. We almost completely scrapped our initial plans at our second meeting and she was so patient with us. She was really amazing about helping us stick to our budget too! The flowers were wonderful the day of our wedding! They lived for almost two weeks after our wedding! She made things very easy and met with us at our venue when it was convenient for us and delivered them the morning of as well as helped the venue set up the decor. She offered ideas for the cake and gift table it was truly wonderful working with her!

I cannot say enough about the flowers and decorations Michele gave me for my wedding. Everything was above and beyond what i was expecting. Michele took my ideas and ran with them, adding little details that i really wasn't expecting.
I was nervous that i hadn't given Michele enough information on what I wanted, but everything came out exactly how I saw it in my head and so much better.
I had contacted Michele a year before my wedding - her response time is not great, but in the end it really doesn't matter becuase her work is unbeleivable.

Michele Bernard does a beautiful job for florals for a wedding! We had a winter wedding in February at the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge and we wanted flowers that really brightened everything but still held true to our winter theme. Michele created beautiful bouquets of white hydrangeas, winter greens and branches with pops of icy gray and blue. They weren't exactly what I wanted in terms of the photos I sent her but they were still beautiful. She went above and beyond on the alter with gorgeous urns and tall flowers. The tulle and lighting under our head table was stunning! Though Michele did a gorgeous job and threw in some extra things for us, a few things I asked for weren't done, specifically a floral arrangement on our place card table, which left the table a little more bare than I had hoped for. There was also supposed to be rose petals on our isle and there wasn't. These are small details that didn't matter much in the end though. I will say, when planning a wedding, email is the way everyone communicates and Michele practically doesn't use it. I sent emails and never heard back, but she does answer the phone quickly so that is the best way to reach her. It's tough on people who work full time and can't make phone calls during the day at work.. In all though, a very positive experience and I am happy I hired her!

The first time we met with Michele I knew immediately we had to book with her. She is so knowledgable and willing to help with absolutely anything. She made it so easy to get everything squared away and the flowers were stunning! I will say Michele was difficult to get a hold of, but she totally came through and got everything done in a timely manner.

I love the fall flowers Michele put together for our wedding at The Red Barn! She totally understood my vision of orange gerber daisies with pops of sunflowers and baby's breath. She even had 2 options for the flower girl when she arrived to the venue, petals to toss and a mini bouquet, one for photos and one for the ceremony. So happy we went with Michele!

This was a second marriage for me so I wasn't all that particular about the flowers. If this has been my first marriage I would have been a little disappointed. I had sent an e-mail making flower changes a week or so prior to the event but never received a response. The florist then didn't recall getting my email. Needless to say, the changes didn't happen. The flowers were fresh upon arrival. The table settings were gorgeous. They were exactly what I was hoping for and the flowers were very fresh and lasted a while. My bouquet is drying very nicely. I would still recommend this vendor but suggest that you do a little research in advance and have a good idea of what you want when you meet with her the first time. I didn't do this so I wasn't really prepared to make the decisions.

Michele came recommended through my venue based on the general look I was going for, and I was so excited when I met her because she really nailed my "vision". During our first conversation, it felt like she was reading my mind which was so important. And I have to say that her end result was pretty close to that vision which I was happy about and often, is what is most important.

However working with Michele proved a bit challenging at times - she wasn't the best at responding, and it seemed as though I was managing her versus the other way around to set up check ins, make sure we were still on to meet, and following up to get notes from our meetings. While I am a very organized bride, I would recommend to brides working with Michele to make personal notes or calendar invites to follow up in case seasons get busy.

Michele's end result flowers were exceptional, however I would recommend to brides to make sure to align on exact expectations during every meeting as some hidden costs seemed to creep up during subsequent conversations, despite perceived alignment on upfront vision. She did seem to go out of her way to provide added value benefits such as bathroom arrangements and ceremony petals which was amazing, however costs during most meetings seemed to go up and up despite trying to offset these costs by purchasing many materials myself.

Michele does however have great vision and takes great pride in her work! She was extremely flexible and could meet us anywhere and everywhere which was very nice. She really is very talented at what she does and produced great quality product which had many of our guest commenting - and despite some hiccups during the process, the final product really is what matters in the end!

Michele is very talented and her designs are original and beautiful. Michele does not have a storefront, but she does travel all over. Michele has a policy that all design conversations must be made in person, but she is flexible with meeting you at any location. We felt her prices were very reasonable for the quality of her work. I left most of the design up to Michele, so we really didn’t have any idea what the flowers were going to look like. I was pleasantly surprised with my gorgeous bouquet, ceremony flowers, and centerpieces. My only major complaint was with the table runners she provided us. At our final meeting we showed Michele a swatch of the ribbon we were using on the cake, menu cards, and glass votives. She came up with the idea of incorporating table runners in the same color. At her suggestion, we had to change our upgraded linens to plain ivory tablecloths in order not to compete with the table runners. On the day of the wedding, I was disappointed to see her table runners were just (at most) 3” wide ribbon. It was a bummer because we had to change to the plain ivory tablecloths, and a single strip of ribbon across them just looked silly. Overall, we enjoyed working with Michele and we were happy with our flowers, but I will admit that she set really high expectations for us and we felt like she didn’t live up to them 100%.

I am sad to report that overall I am simply ok with the display of my wedding flowers and decor. The way everything was described was not what I saw when I walked in for my ceremony and reception. It was pretty but my impression was underwhelming, surprising even. It just didn’t meet the expectations set. From other pictures I’ve seen of Michele’s work it’s all beautiful ... perhaps she had to much to get ready for in June. There were also a couple of things I thought we were getting that were not delivered.

In the beginning things ran fairly smooth for us but towards the wedding day the only stress I had was with the flowers. We were on two different pages of what I wanted and I did not see a sample until exactly a week and a half before my wedding date and it looked nothing like what we had previously discussed. In that I was disappointed, however, she did deliver on the day of the wedding and everything came out beautifully. She did end up going above and beyond and I am happy to say that we did not have any issues the day of the wedding. To do it over again I would go with Michele based soley on her quality of work.

The flowers were beautiful but Michele's communication was very poor. She was slow to respond or did not respond at all and said that we need to harass her when she doesn't write back to emails/call back. Overall this left us feeling that Michele is very unprofessional.

After months of research and a stack of glowing reviews, I thought myself safe with choosing Michele. Initially, our meeting went well and I thought we communicated with each other very clearly. She said that our budget was fine for what I requested, and that she understood my vision for the centerpieces, bouts, decor, etc.

At our final meeting, we again seemed to be on the same page. She confirmed everything we'd previously discussed, which included extremely specific requests: absolutely NOTHING RED, white chiffon draping over and covering the doors that were the backdrop to our ceremony, candles of varied heights throughout the centerpieces.

On the wedding day, those three requests were not honored. My spray (pinned to the muff I carried) had red berries. The bouts and corsages had red berries. The card table and ladies' restroom had red poinsettias. There was zero draping in front of the ceremony doors -- they were completely bare and had fingerprints all over that are visible in our pictures. And while the content of the centerpieces were fine, there were only one or two other candles of the same height, not scattered at different heights. I was heartbroken.

I have been too upset by this to contact Michele myself, so my mother (who was outraged) communicated with her and received a 10% refund. Neither my mother nor I am satisfied with this, but realistically we understand that there is little else Michele can do at this point.

Looking back at my photos of a day I worked on for 20 months, I still have to contain my disappointment (and some tears). I never expected such blatant disregard for a bride's requests, and will not recommend Michele to other brides following this experience.
