We had an excellent experience with metro rentals for our wedding day. They coordinated pick up and drop off seamlessly. They hung our outdoor lights while we were having a pool day and we could hardly tell they were there! Their employees are so kind and a pleasure to work with. We had to add on portable heaters very last minute and they were able to accommodate it for us no problem!

Planning a wedding from out of state can be overwhelming, but working with Metro made the entire process incredibly easy. From the very beginning, their communication and organization gave us complete peace of mind and made planning from afar feel seamless.

Couldn't be happier
The folks at Metro Rental were absolutely phenomenal to work with for our big day this past weekend - and I'm sure we didn't make it easy on them. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, we had to make a modification to our original order - absolutely no friction on Metro's end and we were able to get the contract updated in minutes. And again, the day before our wedding, we decided we would like to add sides to our tent to shield our wedding party from the winds coming off of the sound. Metro was happy to accommodate and quickly got us taken care of.
Their crew was great to work with - true professionals and extremely friendly. We really enjoyed their presence around our venue as they were getting things set up. They also communicated directly with the decorators at IDoOBX to coordinate timing and other logistical details. If you're in the market for some event rentals, I wouldn't think twice and just go with Metro - they were amazing.

they worked with me changing my chair count upt untill week before wedding, they delivered everything for us the day before our event and picked it all up next day. Worked great for our diy wedding, although they do offer set up at an additional cost we didnt need it due to our small wedding. So excited for the big day!
We met Rob at the Wedding Expo back in March, he was recommended by other vendors to check out while we were there! He is very easy to get along with and talk to, he was our kind of guy! We loved our experience working with Metro! We ordered a 30x60 tent for our 6.11.19 wedding, along with lighting, dance floor and the popcorn machine for the week (which was a HUGE hit for our crowd!). Metro Rental's reputation precedes them. The Outer Banks is the largest wedding venue in the U.S.A. surpassing Las Vegas, I believe.
Metro Rental is always there to serve you and they offer endless colors and dimensions of fabric. I ordered tables and linens and they came through on time. Three of my tables' linens weren't included but they rushed on a busy saturday very many grueling miles back to the reception venue and delivered on time before reception began. They dropped off and picked up with ease. I ALWAYS use Metro Rental. They are the choice on the OBX!

I started working with Mandi after the OBX wedding fest and she made everything such a breeze. Planning from out of state can be a bit hectic but she made sure we had everything, and recommended thing I didn't even think about. From the moment we started planning my daughter's wedding and we stopped in Metro rentals to talk to Mandi we have been so impressed. Mandi is obviously very knowledgeable about wedding planning and she gave us great ideas. We came up with a beautiful plan for an outdoor wedding with a tent, lighting, tables and chairs. The customer service with Metro was AMAZING! Mandi responded very quickly & was so accommodating that it made our experience with them enjoyable. Their prices are competitive with other vendors and the quality of everything we rented (dance floor, lighting, linens, chairs) was superb. Everything looked brand new. The person who installed the dance floor didn't like the appearance so he left to get materials and came back to clean it so it looked brand new. We had a last minute need for more linens and the owner/manager calmly came to the rescue within minutes. I cannot recommend Metro enough for those of you planning an event in the Outer Banks. I would give them 20 stars if I could! You will not regret choosing them to make your event beautiful.

Definitely recommend! They were prompt and professional and even though we made a last minute color change, they were accommodating and able to make everything happen! They made the event stress free and made the drop off and pick up process effortless on our end!!

I worked with Mandi through the entire process of renting everything we needed for our wedding. She was EXTREMELY responsive, informative and easy to work with. She was so sweet and helpful through the entire process!
I booked everything while at the wedding show but I was feeling a bit under the weather. The next few days I stressed about the color I chose, how many tables I rented, the chairs, did I miss anything since I was sick? I called her and explained that I wasn't feeling myself and I just wanted to double check and she was the sweetest thing ever! She took her time, I never felt rushed and she assured me that the colors I chose would look excellent and she would have guided me in the right direction if my flu brain took over!
We added things last minute, took things away a week before, then called back and changed our minds and to me it was a huge deal and I was so apologetic to be like this and she was just like, "it's fine!" lol
We rented a tent (which was also a last few month decision) and it was, aside from our event coordinators, was the best decision we could have made. It was storming and everyone was under the tent, dancing and singing, no one even realized it was raining.

Metro Rental made booking an tent to accommodate our wedding incredibly easy! Mandi helped coordinate all of the details of our tables (plates, glasses, flatware, linens) and chairs. She understood the simple yet elegant look that was I going for and make suggestions that ended up being perfect! She is also incredibly patient and resourceful! The team arrived early (even better!) to set up the tent and were super flexible in accommodating the space when unexpected issues came up (like a full volleyball court...). What a great group of ppl! They're the best!

We chose Metro Rental for our daughter's wedding and were thrilled with the results. We were traveling from quite a distance so having that "go to person" when planning remotely is critical. I had the pleasure of working with Mandi and she was wonderful! She listened to what my daughter envisioned then provided suggestions for set up and design, they were spot on. Our rentals included a tent with side panels, leg drapes, lights with a dimmer switch, tables, chairs, linens and a big dance floor (a must have for my family!). After putting together the wish list and design with Mandi I felt assured that the rentals were off my check list. She checked in throughout the process to see if there were any changes but I had no worries with her in charge! Knowing we had many out of town guests arriving and having an event planned for the day before the wedding she worked out the perfect timeline for delivery. The setup crew did a great job, very efficient and friendly. We had some pretty strong winds the night before the wedding and, to our surprise, they came to check on things that next morning. Greatly appreciated and, thankfully, all was good to go! Our guests all commented on how pretty everything looked and how the "flow" of the setup worked so well, Thank you, Mandi! The breakdown crew arrived the following day and, again, were very efficient and friendly. I will forever be grateful to Mandi and "the crew" for ensuring my daughter's wedding reception was AWESOME! Thank you, Metro Rental!

We rented china, flatware, water glasses and coffee urn for a Sunday evening ceremony. Delivery would as prompt, items were packed well, no problems with accuracy. I called several times in advance to make updates and changes. Each time they were professional, courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend.

She provided us with all of the information we needed to help make our decisions on what tables, chairs, and even silverware we wanted to make the day truly special. They set up all of our reception tables and were prompt for delivery and pick up. I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the OBX! My husband and I used metro rental for our wedding in NC. The tables, chairs and linens were actually delivered early and picked up right on time! Our order was reviewed several times during the planning process and again right before the week of the wedding. Great customer service, we would absolutely use Netro Rental for future events.

I came in early in the wedding planning process to speak with them about options, colors, etc. Mandi was incredibly responsive throughout and gave great feedback regarding what and how much I would need. We worked with Metro Tent rental for a white tent outside of the Kitty Hawk Pier house. After our initial call, Metro sent over dimension options and images of tents they had set up before. Metro was very accommodating in the tent placement we asked for, and even offered the day of our wedding to bring heaters if we wanted (it was unseasonably cool). They were easy to work with and reasonably priced, and the quality of their tent was very nice. We would recommend them!

Very decent rates, they took care of even for our Saturday wedding (tent, tables, chairs, dance floor, bathroom trailer) They always had very good communication and went out of their way for us (I.e. adding the dance floor last minute). Very personable people yet still very professional.

I really enjoyed working with Metro Rental. I rented a 30x45 tent with strung lights. I communicated back and forth with Mandi for 6-8 months prior to my wedding. She was such a huge help, went above and beyond for me and was always quick to respond back to me. The Metro crew were willing to work with my schedule for how soon I would need tent put up. Not only was Mandi super helpful, the guys who came out to set up the tent and string the lights were so nice and even offered great advice on the layout of my tables and chairs. Was nervous to rent as an out-of-towner. Rented some things (tables, chairs, etc) for a small wedding and metro EXCEEDED expectations. Very friendly, professional, easy to work with and answered all of our "will this be ok" questions with an ease that made my overly anxious mind feel good. Will be using them again for future OBX events for sure!

Rob Waddington and his staff at Metro rental made my daughter’s wedding experience amazing! The word “accommodating” doesn’t say enough about how personable and genuinely attentive they were to every little detail. And we know brides and M.O.B.’s have their “details”. Our outdoor tented event was 9-30-17 and on the backside of a string of hurricanes!! Rob was so reassuring and calm as he had to rework his schedules with the weather. Our wedding celebration was beautiful! Thank you Metro Rental!

Metro Rental was so easy to work with and they had everything that we wanted. They delivered everything punctually if not early and picked it up without issue. I changed my order several times without issue and they even checked in a week or so before to make sure there were no changes. Given that we had an event house wedding we needed plates and such which all came nicely packaged and easy to move to their location in the house. They do drop off outside the house, which wasn't an issue for us, but I imagine it could be if the house didn't have an elevator.

By renting with Metro Rental you can make changes to the order up to 3-days prior to our delivery! We understand that some houses may or may not have elevators, and transportation may be difficult. With Hurricane Jose threatening to ruin our small wedding, it was so nice and EASY to change the date of our event. Everyone was so understanding and flexible, it was so comforting and we really appreciated it.

Absolutely amazing! We got the majority of our rentals from Atlantic but they would not let us just rent cushions from them without renting the chairs with them, that's when we found metro. They had no problem letting us do this. We were even able to get last minute linens from them the day before the wedding with no problem. They also we're so kind and flexible with us dropping everything back off a day late during non businesses hours because we were having trouble transporting them back the day they were due through the 4 wheel
drive area. We wish we could go back and do all our rentals with them.

My husband and I got married two weekends ago at Jennette's Pier and used Metro Rental for our linens, glasses and dance floor for the wedding. This company is absolutely AMAZING! I was very pleased with their excellent customer service and super quick responses to emails. Mandi, in particular, was great to work with and helped make wedding planning for us stress-free. I worked with Metro rental for my reception needs and they were so pleasant! I was in contact with Mandi, and she was always so nice to me!! On the weeks/days leading up to the wedding, I was in a complete panic and calling/emailing her about every little detail. She was always so happy to help and explain everything to me.
