I used Metro rental to pick up tables, beverage tubs, and chafing dishes for my beach house wedding. Jerri was my point of contact. From the moment I first contacted her until drop off of the items they were very prompt at responding to any questions I had. A few days before the wedding, my caterer emailed and said she had contacted the rental place and I didn't have enough chafers ordered. Jerri worked with my caterer to get the right number and added it to my order. Pick up and drop off of the items was a breeze. I would highly recommend them for your OBX event rentals.
We used Metro Rental for chairs and tables for our backyard BBQ rehearsal dinner, and also for benches for our beach ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn Kitty Hawk Pier house. I found them much more affordable than other vendors in the area. Very easy to work with, and good quality products. Highly recommend!

Metro Rental is run by the most caring, sweet people! They were very flexible with our changing numbers and offered some advice on how to save money on rentals. They took the time to go to our wedding site and figure out some possible arrangements after measuring the area, giving us a couple of different designs from which to choose. They really made sure we were happy! They were REALLY great to work with and I would work with them again!
I used Metro Rental for all my wedding renting needs. For our wedding, we had a tent set up on the sound side of the island in the backyard of a rental cottage. Metro was able to set the tent up and drop off all other rented items 2 days before the wedding which was a huge help for us as we had to set everything up! They even came back a couple days later to install walls on the tent as we last minute changed our minds and needed walls around the tent due to the weather. They were very easy going about us adding or removing last minute items we discovered we needed or didn't as we got closer to the date.
They were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the process. When I had first contacted them, they went out to the house for free before I had even signed a contract to measure the area and let me know what size tent would fit in the space. I found this very generous as another rental company was going to charge me to go and measure the space whether or not I signed a contract.
They also sent us a CAD drawing of the space under the tent to help give me an idea how all the tables, chairs, and dance floor were going to fit.
I would definitely recommend Metro!
We are so thankful that we used Metro for our wedding reception. Jeri was able to answer all of our questions via email, phone and when I would surprise drop in to see her at their physical location. I would be surprised if she wasn't able to do something for you because she seriously has all the answers! Everyone that works for metro is super flexible, especially the delivery guys! Our weather quickly changed a few days before our reception and they were able to get our tent, chairs and tables without problems. The day of the event the temperature dropped significantly. One quick email and a few short hours later the guys returned with our request for a heater!

We used Metro for our wedding and they were fantastic. We changed our order multiple times, including the day of the drop off, and they were great about it. Any questions we had we quickly responded to. We mainly chose them over ocean atlantic because they dropped off the day before our event at 11 and picked up the day after the event at the same time, while only charging us for 1 day. It gave us plenty of time to set up and clean up after. For this reason we chose Metro Rentals. It kept costs down and gave us time to set up without waiting for the rentals to arrive.
Metro Rental is definitely the rental company you should use. They were efficient and provided excellent service. They took care of absolutely everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I also searched around and they were the least expensive company to rent chairs from for my wedding. I was very happy with Metro Rental.
Can't complain, their website is helpful with all the prices and everything looked like the pictures that were shown. I even ended up getting a discount and wasn't even expecting it. Barbara was very good about getting back to you about anything.

We were very pleased with the services provided by Metro. I worked closely on line with Barbara and found her patient and helpful. Throughout the lengthy planning process she offered many suggestions and guidance and accommodated changes without a complaint. The construction of the event tent was amazing to watch and went up without a hitch. A few items were forgotten in delivery but later delivered well in time of the event. Of all the vendors we used, we were most happy with Metro. Keep up the great work for us out of towners!!
