Melissa and her team are the BEST!

I was a MOH where Melissa was the hair/makeup team and they were INCREDIBLE! So much so that I recommended them to two other friends, and was so excited when I was finally able to book them for myself. It was the first vendor that I booked! All communication prior was seamless and her prices were standard for the industry. Day of, everything was perfect and stayed the entire night. My bridal party and mom + mother-in-law were also thrilled with how everything turned out! I'm in a wedding in August that Melissa is booked for and I can't wait to look amazing again thanks to her!

We Loved Melissa and Team!

Melissa and her team were awesome! They were so friendly and so much fun to have around on the morning of the wedding. My bridesmaids and I were so pleased with how they did our hair and makeup; they really brought our visions to life!

Melissa worked on my makeup as the bride and did a fantastic job. I told her that I wanted a little more makeup vs. my trial from a few months before, and what she ended up doing with my cheeks, eyes, lips etc. looked absolutely amazing. Same with my hairstyle as well!

Overall we were extremely happy with the team and I would definitely highly recommend Melissa to any future brides!

Amazing Experience!

I had an amazing experience with Danielle as my hair stylist for both my trials and wedding day. Danielle is very skilled at styling hair in a way that meets the clients' needs and expectations and also constantly maintains professionalism and timeliness. I had seven women getting their hair done on my wedding day, including myself, my mother, my mother-in-law, my matron of honor, and the bridesmaids. Danielle arrived early and finished early after doing an amazing job. Everyone was very happy with their end result and our hair looked fantastic at the end of the night! I'm still receiving comments about how great everyone looked. Communicating with Melissa was also a wonderful experience. Her responses were prompt and her instructions for wedding trial and day preparation were thorough. I would highly recommend Melissa and Danielle for your wedding hair needs!

Best day ever!!

Melissa and her team were very amazing. Bernice did my make-up and Kerrie did my hair. Everything was what I requested. I felt beautiful on my wedding day! They both did an amazing job!! I showed both Kerrie and Bernice what I wanted and they both went above and beyond. Melissa was also very responsive and professional. I booked for my trial last minute and she was able to accommodate me!! Highly recommended!!

Best Hair/Make Up Team

I used Melissa’s team for both hair and make up for my recent wedding and they did not disappoint. My hair and make up stayed perfect all day and night! I’m usually quite picky when it comes to my make up because I usually don’t wear a lot; Nicolette did the perfect amount where it wasn’t too much, but I still felt like a beautiful bride on my wedding day. Shelly did a wonderful job with everyone’s hair! Everyone looked stunning! It was also so nice to have to deal with only one vendor for hair and make up instead of the usual two different vendors. Melissa was always responsiveness and a pleasure to communicate with during the process. You won’t be disappointed if you book Melissa and her team!

So beautiful!

Everything was PERFECT. Meliss and her team were so accommodating and came to my house to get us ready!! All of the girls were SO happy with their hair and makeup. And of course, it held up all night. Everyone loved everything and the team even helped out our two grandmothers as well.

I thought the camera hated me..

So leading up to our wedding, I was having serious anxiety about how I would look and feeling my "best." I was so stressed out I actually went for my trial and legit almost had a panic attack but Melissa eased every. single. one. of my worries and stress.

Not only is she just the absolute cutest human being on the planet but she is so sweet. As for her talent, she somehow takes your face, and makes it look like the absolute best version of yourself. She doesn't overdo it but also gives you enough something to feel extra special.

My mom was so worried too so she also went for a trial and she left the toughest to please one smiling ear to ear. I cannot recommend her enough.

Melissa & Her Team are Amazing!!

Melissa and her team were amazing!! I hired Melissa for my wedding in October. After making the decision to postpone our wedding from October 2020 to October 2021 and I lost the original hair and makeup team I had hired, I came across Melissa. Melissa was very professional and a pleasure to work with throughout every step of the process. She happily answered every single one of my questions. We had 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists since there were about 10 of us getting hair and makeup done. The day of, Melissa and her team were on time and made the entire process stress-free and extremely fun. We all looked fabulous and our hair and makeup lasted the entire night. I cannot recommend Melissa and her team enough!!

Made me feel like a princess!

Melissa D’Aloia and her team did an amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup!! We had Andrea and Jess for hair and Nicole and Nicolette for makeup and they were truly fantastic. I was nervous about getting everything done before the photographer came but they were such pros and everything was done well before we had to start the photos! My hair and makeup looked STUNNING and I felt like a princess because of them! All of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law looked fantastic as well! They were also so patient and friendly. My eye kept tearing and they were great about helping me touch it up so nothing got messed up. I am so grateful for the amazing team!

Best Hair and Makeup!!!!

Melissa and her team were amazing!! I postponed my wedding 4 times and every time Melissa made the postponement process so easy!

Melissa and her team did my hair and makeup multiple times (engagement shoot, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, 2 hair and makeup trials) and every time they did a great job! Melissa is sooo responsive, kind, and fun to be around.

The day of, her and her team (I think 3 hair and 3 make up girls) did an UNREAL job. Everyone's hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted the entire day and night. We started getting ready at 8am and the party didn't end until 1am. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed in place.

I would highly highly recommend Melissa and her team for your wedding!!!

I can't say enough good things about our hair and makeup team! My bridesmaids all loved their chosen looks, and I never once had to worry about or touch up my hair or makeup on my wedding day, which is all the more remarkable since our wedding was outside, I cried, and danced the night away. Marilu did my makeup. During my trial, I opted for regular makeup and an ombre eye. Marilu did a great job, but since I normally wear very minimal makeup, it didn't feel like me. So on my wedding day, I completely changed course and opted for airbrush makeup and a neutral eye and lip. Marilu understood exactly the natural-esque look I wanted and applied my makeup flawlessly. Andrea did my hair. We worked through a few different versions of the bun I wanted during our trial, and on the day of our wedding, she executed the vision perfectly. I couldn't recommend Marilu or Andrea more highly!

Flawless hair and experience!

My entire experience with Melissa D’Aloia and her stylist, Lisa, was flawless. Melissa is responsive, professional, flexible and kind, and her pairing me with Lisa for my wedding day was a perfect fit. Lisa is truly incredible at what she does, taking ideas I had for my hair, giving me advice about how to make it work for me and even accommodating a slight direction change the morning of my wedding. Wedding Hair

Melissa is AMAZING! From booking to the day of, she was in communication with me, answering any questions quickly and making sure the schedule was finalized. She provided ideas when needed. Andrea and Jess did a phenomenal job with the bridesmaids and my hair. Even in 90 degree weather, our hair lasted the entire day! Melissa was easy to communicate with. Sabrina for makeup and Jessica for hair were wonderful! They are professional and take their time with each person. Jessica can do a variety of hairstyles which helped since everyone wanted a different look! I'd recommend them!

An amazing experience!

I am so happy I found Melissa D'Aloia & Co. for my wedding hair and makeup! Melissa was very responsive to my emails (something I found other vendors were not), professional and friendly. She and Kerry, who did my hair, listened to my ideas and helped bring my vision to life. Perfect makeup

I knew right away that Marixa was the perfect makeup person for us. She got my look right away, and the rest of the party. My mother, who is very aware of a scar on her nose, loves the pictures of her more than any in the last 2 years. To me, that’s the best part! Everyone looked and felt gorgeous

Beautiful hair and makeup!

Melissa and her team were recommended by my wedding planner. I could not have been happier to have worked with them! When I had my trial both my hair and makeup were spot on and no changes were needed. On my wedding day Melissa, Danielle and the team were so professional and efficient. My hair and makeup was stunning and I received so many compliments throughout the day as well as later when people saw photos. My bridal party was also all extremely happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. My friend absolutely loved how my hair and makeup looked that he ended up booking Melissa's team to do the ladies at his wedding. Flawless work

Working with Melissa’s team was a pleasure! Melissa was responsive and helpful. Nicole was our makeup artist the day of the wedding and she was fantastic! She did make up on 6 of my bridesmaids plus myself. She spent time on each girl to make sure our look was flawless. Never did we feel rushed for time or panicked. Nicole made sure that everyone was happy with their look and did touch ups right before we all walked down the aisle. She worked with my photographer to make sure they got the shots they wanted. Melissa and her team were absolutely amazing!

I booked Melissa D'Aloia & Co. Luxury Hair + Make Up as the hair stylist for my wedding earlier in June 2019. I had a trial with Andrea a couple months before the wedding and loved the look she did for me: elegant, beautiful, sophisticated, and everything I was looking for. On of the day of the wedding, Andrea really brought her A-game and made my hair look even more amazing than it did during the trial! I loved what Melissa and Keery did for my trial, but the day of was even better. It was exactly what I wanted, and I've never felt prettier. They were so accommodating and very friendly! The best experience!

From the start, Melissa was absolutely fabulous. When I first reached out to her, she was on vacation with her family and she still responded to me within what felt like minutes! I had pricing and a trial set with her within a matter of days and she answered every question I had without hesitation.

I was a little nervous about my hair and makeup trial. I’ve gotten my hair and makeup done only once before for my best friend’s wedding so this was still new territory for me. The trial was SO MUCH FUN - Melissa and Andrea were a blast to hang out with and I honestly didn’t want to leave. I felt pampered, comfortable and beautiful but most importantly, I also felt like they heard me and understood what I wanted.

During my trial, Melissa and Andrea asked a lot of questions about me and my fiancé, how he proposed and what our hobbies are, they asked about our venue and details of the wedding - they really spent time getting to know me and what our wedding was going to be like. They both have such warm personalities that I was excited to see them again on the wedding day!

The morning of our wedding day was completely smooth sailing! When we arrived at the venue, Melissa and Andrea were already set up and ready to get started! We had zero issues with timing.

Every person in my bridal party loved the looks that they had! I’ve never seen my mom and mother in law look so beautiful. I also had 2 junior bridesmaids (13 and 15 years old) and they were so happy - it was such a treat for them to get their hair done.

I could not have been happier with my wedding day look!! And the best part, it lasted ALL day and night long which was a huge concern for me! I was super comfortable and confident and I think it really shows in our pictures. I would absolutely recommend Melissa D’Aloia & Co. to anyone!!

I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Melissa D'Aloia & Co! From beginning to end Melissa was so responsive, friendly and wonderful. I loved what Melissa and Andrea did for both mine and my mom's trial, but the day of was even better. It was exactly what I wanted, and I've never felt prettier. A wonderful experience in every way!

I cannot say enough great things about my wonderful experience with Melissa D'Aloia & Company! They are FABULOUS! The first time I spoke to Melissa on the phone I gave her an idea of the look that I wanted for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. I wanted elegant glamour all the way! From that description she said she knew exactly which members of her team she was going to match me up with for my trial appointment. To say that she set me up with an absolute dream team is a huge understatement!! My first appointment with Danielle, hair stylist and Nicole, makeup artist was wonderful!! Aside them both being amazingly talented, they could not have been more genuine or nicer. I felt as though I was in the company of dear friends that I had known for years. I consider myself extremely picky and a perfectionist when it comes to my hair and makeup.... and if I'm being honest; pretty much everything. But when I left Melissa's studio that day I breathed a huge sigh of relief. I knew that I was in excellent hands and was exactly where I belonged. Believe me when I say they did not disappoint on any level. Over a six-month period I scheduled three trials for hair and make up before deciding on a definite hair style and color pallet for my eye makeup. Each appointment was a positive experience in every way. Throughout the process communicating with Melissa was always pleasant and easy. She's an absolute doll! She and her team bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule every step along the way. It's hard to believe that four weeks have passed already since my dream wedding on September 22nd. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVVVVED my hair and makeup!!! Exactly what I wanted and Flawless!! My bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous! We were all thrilled! Melissa is fantastic! She did the makeup for my wedding (along with 3 other bridesmaids and 2 moms) and I couldn't have been happier with her work. I am extremely picky about my makeup and for a while heavily considered doing my own makeup because of this (and to save money) but I'm so glad I chose to move forward with Melissa as she was well-worth the expense. After our trial, I made some changes to what I had initially asked for and Melissa carefully listened to everything I had to say and incorporated all of my feedback into the final look. Everything came out perfectly. I would highly recommend using her services.

How do I start to write this review when I feel that words won’t do their work justice?? Let me start off by saying my bridesmaids and I received countless compliments on our hair and make-up throughout my entire wedding day! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melissa and Andrea! From the quick responses to my emails, to my wonderful make-up and hair trial, to my wedding day, both women completely exceeded my expectations and totally blew me away! Throughout the entire process I felt completely comfortable with Melisa and Andrea and completely trusted their artistic talent. Not only are Melissa and Andrea extremely talented, they are both unbelievably kind, attentive, and professional. Melissa and Andrea were at my venue bright and early on my wedding day and stayed until my every girl looked their very best. I couldn’t stop staring at myself in the mirror because I had never felt more beautiful and I owed it all to them. I HIGHLY recommend Melissa and Andrea and want to thank them again for being so wonderful!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Melissa D'Aloia, Andrea (hair), and Bethany (make-up). Melissa was so good at responding to e-mails and making sure that everything went well leading up to the wedding. My MIL decided that she wanted a trial 3 weeks before our wedding! She was nervous about getting her hair and makeup done for the first time. They were so accommodating and fit her in for a trial during the busiest time of year. I was nervous on the actual wedding day that the hair/makeup would run late and mess up the rest of the schedule. I should not have been worrying at all. The ladies were super professional and made everything run smoothly. All of my bridesmaids, mom, MIL, and myself loved their hair and makeup. If there was something along the way we wanted to change, they were so flexible and good about making sure everyone was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend Melissa D'Aloia and her team for your wedding day. They are professional, organized, talented, and so easy to get along with!

Melissa D'Aloia & Co. is THE BEST! From the moment I spoke with Melissa and met with Bethany (makeup) and Andrea (hair) for trials I knew I had to have them at my wedding! They are incredibly talented and have the best personality. Everyone in my bridal party loved them! I will always remember the feeling I had when I first looked in the mirror. Melissa D’Aloia is an absolute doll and pro at what she does! I recently got married in September 2017 and hired Melissa’s company for my wedding day glam. Melissa did our makeup and Andrea did our hair and they didn’t disappoint! I had 7 girls in my bridal party plus myself, my mother and my mother-in-law so a total of 10 of us! I did my trial back in July and was so happy with the way everything turned out, I knew that on my wedding day I’d be just as happy! Both Melissa and Andrea were fabulous and made myself and my best gals feel and look gorgeous!! They were both so personable, warm & pros at what they do!! They made the morning getting ready all together so much fun!! I’m still receiving compliments on my wedding day hair & makeup!! I can’t thank them both enough! My best friend and matron of honor had used Melissa’s company for her wedding day glam and I was happy with them then, and even happier with them for my special day! They are reasonably priced, come to you and just make you and your bridal party feel really special – and in my book that’s priceless!

Was extremely pleased with Melissa D'Aloia and Co as my wedding day hair and makeup team. I was recommended them by my MOH Kelly who is one of their hairstylists and did my hair on my wedding day. She is fantastic!! From the moment I met makeup artist Nicole at my trial I knew she was the right pick and went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my wedding day make up. Nicole and Lauren were both excellent with my and the bridesmaids makeup and Andrea did an excellent job with the bridesmaids hair. They were amazing and we were all so happy with our looks!!

Melissa and Sherinne did incredible work! My 4 bridesmaids, the 2 mothers and grandmother were all very impressed and loved their hair and makeup! We all felt like superstars. She came to my suite at the Olde Mill Inn, and was very fun and friendly while professional. I definitely recomend if you want to look your best!

I had been a bridesmaid in 2 weddings where Melissa's team was used and I was completely satisfied both times. I decided to book them for my wedding and was thrilled throughout the entire process. Melissa was always VERY responsive to my emails and so easy to work with. She did my make-up for an engagement shoot and I loved the way my make-up looked. On wedding day, I had Elena and also highly recommend her. In my experience with both Melissa and Elena, they are true professionals. I basically just told them "do what you think will look best" and they have such a talent for that they do, you can put your trust in either of them and know that you will look perfect. Melissa D'Aloia & Co. was one of my favorite wedding vendors and I would recommend them to any bride. They are also just fun, laid back people who you will enjoy chatting and laughing with - which makes wedding-morning even more fun and as stress-free as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!

For me, hair & makeup was one of the most important and careful searches that I had to make when planning my wedding. I knew that if I wasn't happy with my hair/makeup, then I probably wouldn't be happy with how my photos or video came out either. After much research, I came across Melissa, and I am SO GLAD that I did. Perhaps I was more picky than I should have been, but I did not want my hair & makeup to look too "prom-y" or too "beauty contestant-esque." My girls and I also wanted a hair/makeup artist that could make us look glamorous, but still effortless. Natural, but not plain. Melissa and Tammy DID NOT disappoint. They knew EXACTLY what we wanted, and they completely delivered.

Every single person at the wedding, and every single person who viewed our photos have asked us for Melissa's information. Some of our guests had their hair/makeup done with different salons, and wished that they knew about Melissa and Tammy. Melissa only uses the finest and newest products (which was another important criteria of mine), and most importantly--- she knows what to do with them. Before I booked with Melissa, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a makeup artist who would use the quality products necessary to keep my skin from becoming dry throughout our November wedding, but I knew from my trial in January that I was in good hands. Our hair and makeup lasted from the very moment we sat in the chair, up until our after party ended and we strolled back to our hotel rooms!

Working w/ Melissa/Tammy was such a pleasure and it was as stress-free as it couldve been. Melissa was always responsive with her emails, and the ladies showed up at 745 AM on the dot. I can't wait for another event so that I could have my hair/makeup done w/ Melissa and Tammy again!

Melissa is an exceptionally talented makeup artist and one of my favorite vendors from my wedding. She is extremely professional, always promptly responding to my and my wedding planner's emails, and arrived at my house on time (early) on the day of the wedding. Melissa did makeup for me, my bridal party, mother and niece and everyone loved the way they looked. I showed Melissa a picture of what I wanted during the trial and she was able to replicate it and make it look even better in person. In addition to her makeup skills, she is a kind and interesting person and was a calming presence for me during the process. I was so happy with my makeup on my wedding day and can't wait to use Melissa again for future events that require professional makeup. I could not have been happier with Melissa's services and confidently recommend her for your wedding day!

Working with Melissa was so great!! She was recommended to us by our venue and I am so glad that they recommended her because she really made me feel and look beautiful. Both Joelle and her assistant were both so professional, so talented, friendly and efficient! All of the hair looked absolutely stunning and the girls were ready ahead of schedule! Working with Melissa D'Alioa & Co was so seamless from the very beginning. Melissa was very responsive from the moment I reached out to her for my hair and makeup for my Wedding. Based on what I wanted to do with my hair I was matched up with Kelly who was an absolute gem. She's so talented, I decided to change my hair style a few days before my Wedding and not use the style we originally played around with at my trial. I had some photos on my phone and we just winged it the morning of the Wedding. I know most Bride's would have been panicking but working with Kelly was a breeze. Everything came out amazing / better than I imagined it would. Elena did the makeup for all my Bridesmaids, Mother, Mother-in-Law and myself. She is beyond talented I can't wait to work with her again soon! My only regret about the Wedding was that I didn't bring Elena along to my reception to fix me up through the night as I was on the dance floor most of the evening. I highly recommend using Melissa and team for Weddings or anything you have coming up that you want to feel gorgeous at!!

Every girl dreams of their wedding since they are little. The one thing we all think of is that we want to look and feel like a princess. Melissa made me feel just like that! A friend of mine recommended her to me and from the second I walked in and started my trial I knew I was going to book her. She is truly the nicest person. Her personality is awesome and she immediately made me feel like her friend. Her work is unbelievable! She made my skin look flawless and coming from someone who doesn't have the best skin, I was seriously amazed! I couldn't believe how pretty I looked :) My mom came for a trial as well and I've never seen her look more beautiful! Melissa is truly so talented. I used her multiple times before I even had my wedding! She did my bridal shower make up and I attended two weddings that I had her do for me as well. I loved every look she did for me. Nothing compared though to how beautiful I felt on my wedding day. From the second she walked into my house she made me feel at ease. She has such a calming personality and is so fun to be around. She is very responsive to emails and was there for any questions I had. I never felt so beautiful in my life. I wish she could do my makeup every day! Her staff is so wonderful and all of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous! I had 9 bridesmaids and Melissa and her staff made sure the morning ran smoothly and that we were on time. We had such a fun morning with everyone. I had 4 nieces who were also in my wedding and Melissa and her girls made them feel like princesses. They were so excited to get their hair and makeup done! Andrea was awesome! She did my hair for my wedding and it was exactly what I had envisioned. She perfected it beautifully. It was exactly the same way from when I went to get my trial done. She is so nice and made me feel beautiful! I really cannot say enough about Melissa! My mom and I loved working with her and truly feel like she's a friend! I would highly recommend her!

I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. My hair and makeup, done by 1pm, stayed throughout the evening - I felt young, vibrant, I really believe how I looked added to how I felt, rather than the opposite being true. Both Melissa and Jolene took their time with each bridesmaid and myself, allowing them to to voice their likes and dislikes, and each girl loves how they looked. At the end, everyone was touched up, which was really nice. Both Melissa and Jolene took extra care with my mom and grandma, making them feel young, special and beautiful. I can't say enough about how much I loved having them share in my morning - they were fun, they added to our atmosphere and their expertise came through the moment they walked in the door. They are definitely worth checking out!!!

One of the best decisions I made was booking Melissa D'Aloia's company to do my wedding makeup. I'm a makeup/product junkie and I didn't want just any makeup artist to do my wedding day makeup. After speaking with dozens of artists over the course of a few months (yes, months), I decided on Melissa D'Aloia. Melissa was incredibly sweet and prompt in responding to every single question I had - she was one of my favorite vendors to work with throughout the whole wedding process, which is always a relief for the bride. Nicole did my makeup - and let me tell you - she has an AMAZING skillset! Seriously - her work is beautiful. When I got home from my trial, my (then) fiance LOVED my makeup - which says a lot since he never comments on makeup.. ever. On my wedding day, I felt stunning - my makeup was beyond gorgeous - and I received compliments all day and night (specifically on my makeup, not just because I was the bride, haha). My makeup lasted over 12 hours and through countless tears! Nicole also brought an assistant, Kelly, with her who also did a beautiful job! Both artists were incredibly friendly, moved swiftly, and all of my BMs and my Mom were so happy with their services.

My wedding was last month on June 11th. I was lucky enough to find Melissa through my hair dresser. I had been complaining about a trial I had recently had and at that point felt like I was stuck with settling for something that didn’t “wow” me. My hair dresser suggested Melissa Daloia and Company and after some e-mailing exchanges I set up a trial. It was love at first application. She understood my vision for how I wanted to look on my big day. On the day of her and her assistant we punctual, so fun and friendly and all of my bridesmaids looked just beautiful. Looking back at photos I don’t have one thing I would have done differently. I felt the prettiest I have ever looked and she helped me to have this confidence. Finding someone to make me look absolutely amazing on my wedding day was a top priority. I came across Melissa D'Aloia & Co. and immediately knew I’d found the right people! I worked with Melissa through the planning for my hair and makeup trials, engagement photos and lastly the actual wedding day. Melissa was always quick to respond, pleasant to work with and more than accommodating! I had my hair done by Kelly and my makeup done by Elena. Let me tell you, these ladies are the ROCK STARS of hair and makeup!!! I cannot stress enough how FABULOUS they are! They were funny, kept the mood light while getting ready and were able to finish everyone with time to spare. I could not have imagined a more perfect outcome. They literally looked at a picture I had in mind and made it happen! I had so many people tell me I was the most gorgeous bride they had ever seen and these ladies made me feel exactly that way! Satisfaction is truly on the top of Melissa’s list. I had reserved makeup with them almost a year in advance. When the day got closer, a lot of my plans changed due to timing. Never once did Melissa not accommodate me. I had a very tight schedule to follow and they managed to make it all work. Melissa and Nicole are truly perfectionist, all of my girls loved their make up! My make-up survived from 12 in the afternoon until the last song of our reception. I’ve gotten my make up done several times and this was my favorite. The make-up looks so light yet covered every imperfection. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone having an event. Any events I have in the future, I hope to use them time and time again. If you want to deal with a company that treats you as a person rather than a contract, they are the ones to book!

Finding hair and makeup was one of the hardest parts of wedding planning for me so I was ecstatic when I found Melissa D'Aloia. We are a same sex couple and had other companies turn us down after finding out, I had a trial somewhere else and it turned out terribly, so needless to say I was very nervous. After my trial with Melissa D'Aloia (Bethany for makeup and Joelle for hair) I immediately booked them. Not only did they do an amazing job but they are sweet, kind, funny, and personable. On my wedding day, they were a blast to work with. They went above and beyond and didn't just do hair and makeup but helped keep us calm, on track, and coming to our rescue to dodge any day of "emergencies". Joelle brought an assistant which also helped streamline the process. Although the trial was great, my day of hair and makeup was incredible!! I wanted something simple, tasteful, and true to myself and they made me look like the best possible version of myself. Thank you Melissa, Joelle and Betheny, you ladies are amazing!!

My husband and I were married on September 5, 2015 at 11:30am. The time of our wedding is important because us girls had to start getting ready at 5:30am at our venue. We had Melissa as our makeup artist and Andrea’ as our hair stylist (with 2 assistants) and let me say that they were troopers! They arrived exactly at 5:30am ready to work! They were absolutely phenomenal! I found Melissa in January and immediately scheduled a trial with her based off the reviews. The trial went so smoothly I couldn’t believe it- these are the easiest women to work with I have ever met! My hair came out exactly how I wanted it on the first try! I have very long thin hair but I wanted to wear it down for my wedding. I brought extensions and Andrea’ turned my hair into something I could have only dreamed of! I have to be honest and say that when Melissa was done with my makeup it was not what I wanted. She did a beautiful job but it just was not what I envisioned. Even though we were approaching an hour, Melissa took my makeup off and started over. She listened so intently on my vision and was so patient. By the time we were done I knew that I had to book with these ladies. They truly care about what they are doing and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. I did decided to book another makeup trial though. Melissa blocked off another appt. and made sure that she had plenty of time for me. After my 2nd trial I left absolutely beaming, I felt like a princess! It was perfect! The time and effort she put into my makeup meant so much. *Now the day of my wedding was incredible. These girls came prepared and they had everyone done exactly on time. My whole bridal party afterwards had nothing but amazing things to say about them. Not only about how great they made them look but about how nice they were and how easy they were to talk to; they made our morning even more special than it already was. I highly recommend Melissa and her team, you cannot go wrong with these ladies!

Both Melissa’s & Jo’s personality and professionalism put my mind at ease the moment my bridal makeup/hair trial began. Melissa made it a point where not only did I feel comfortable enough, but also where my Mom felt comfortable, where we would not feel awkward, or ashamed, or embarrassed to ask her any questions that we may have had. Melissa was fully equipped with the proper tools and knowledge to use the correct colors and techniques that were needed to bring out best features for both my mom and I for the most important day in life- my wedding! By the end of the trial, we fell absolutely in love with their work.

I can honestly say Melissa is a true professional makeup artist who has a keen eye for art and Jo is absolutely phenomenal with styling hair. Melissa and Jo literally calmed, pampered, and elevated my stress, leaving me to look effortlessly fresh and radiant, so I can start my “happily ever after” with my childhood sweet heart/the love of my life looking and feeling absolutely gorgeous! Not only did I feel absolutely gorgeous and elegant on my wedding day, but my Mom and my two Matron of Honors also felt and looked gorgeous as well!

Gorgeous!!! That is how my bridesmaids, flower girls, mom and myself looked the day of my wedding. Melissa was super responsive since i first contacted her, she emailed me all the basic information and after looking at some of her work on social media and her website i decided to book a trial. I met my Makeup Artist Marilu and Hairstylist Kelly at their studio and I absolutely loved it. They will listen to you and give you advise. I also booked Marilu to do my makeup for my bridal shower and again loved it. lol. The day of the wedding they arrived to my house on time, and set up super fast. I had 5 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls my mom and I. They made sure everybody looked amazing and we were on time by the time the photographer arrived. I also booked Kelly to do a hair change for my reception, she arrived at my venue on time and was very flexible as far as arrival time. I will recommend Melissa and her team to family and friends, and will continue to use them for special occasions.

Melissa is a dream and her work is amazing. You will always find talented MUA, but finding one who has character, morals, and values; now that's one of a kind. Her work speaks for herself. Her resume is packed with different bookings she done make-up for, but that's not why she was my one stop shop for makeup. We choose her because of the person she is, so nice, friendly, open, just an overall beautiful person.

I am very particular about how I do my make-up on a daily basis and I'm not afraid to wear make-up and a good amount of it. During my consultation she listened to me and we worked together to find the perfect look. The day of we needed another MUA and she was more than accommodating to do so, just an amazing soul! She brought Sabrina and the two of them created a cohesive, elegant, dramatic, gorgeous look on myself, the bridesmaids, MOG, and MOB. HIGHLY recommend her.

Every woman dreams of looking absolutely perfect on her wedding day. Add on top of it the fact that I was a licensed cosmetologist who loves hair/make up, I knew finding a make up artist for my wedding would be probably the most stressful element of planning for me. It's hard when going through portfolios/websites to truly know how make up will look on YOU. Once I came across Melissa's site, I was immediately drawn to it since she had images of make up I know I like on myself. I set up a trial with her and Kerry (hair stylist) and immediately loved them. They are both super sweet, knowledgeable and talented. I also got to do a hair trial with Kerry, who ended up doing my hair for the wedding. Melissa, Kerry and assistant Kim showed up promptly the morning of and got to work on myself and 5 bridesmaids. They were a delight to spend the big morning with and did a great job on us all. It was probably the least stressed I was all day :) They were attentive to everyone's opinions and requests and aimed to please. My make up looked exactly as I had hoped and stayed on point until 1am when the wedding ended (and then some).

You must book with Melissa D'Aloia & Co. Melissa did my makeup and Kelly did my hair and I couldn't have been happier. I had 11 bridesmaid all getting hair and makeup done and Melissa and her team came to my venue and made everyone look so beautiful. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to my hair and makeup and Melissa & Kelly did an absolutely amazing job. They take their time on each and every girl who sits in their chair. They even went back and did touch ups on some of my bridesmaids who had their make up done first (the earliest). Not only did they all do an incredible job, but they are friendly, sweet and an absolute pleasure to work with. I was given a second hair trial, no charge, after telling Melissa I wanted a different type of look- true customer service. Melissa and her team genuinely care about making your day the most stress as possible. They are an extremely talented group of girls who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. From the trial to the actual wedding day I can't say enough good things about Melissa, who did my make-up and Joelle, who did my hair! (Not to mention the assistants they brought were amazing, too!).

They were helpful throughout the whole process in getting back to me and also in being on time the day of the wedding!

I loved getting to know them and they were such sweet people that made everyone feel comfortable while getting ready. They really took into consideration whatever kind of look any of my bridesmaids wanted and everyone turned out so beautiful! :)

My makeup artist was Marilu and my hair stylist was Andrea and all I can say is WOW! These two ladies did such a wonderful job I honestly couldn't have asked for more. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my mom and bridesmaids looked amazing. These two wonderful ladies were fantastic to work with and the owner Melissa was an absolute pleasure. Being the bride on your wedding day you want to look like a princess. I don't have long perfect hair so I had to really research for the best team I felt would make my hair look amazing in any type of weather. I came across Melissa D'Aloia & Co. on the Knot and Wedding Wire. I looked through all their photos and reviews and was amazed. I emailed them that night and right away the owner Melissa got right back to me. She was so sweet and set me up for a trial. She was very straight forward and helped me to understand everything. When going in for my trial I met my stylist Joelle. I have to say it was like hanging out with friends. That is how comfortable she made me feel. We were talking , laughing-she was just great! What also was great was she kept my MOH and my mother involved with the trial- she asked opinions, answered their questions. When I left I new 150% Melissa D'Aloia & Co was going to be the perfect choice for my wedding.
On my wedding day and even before Melissa kept in contact with me. The stylists came right on time and were very calm, and listened to each of my family members and bridesmaids with what they wanted. They were so personable and each girl loved their hair.
If you want your hair done by a company who has exceptional service and professionalism then Melissa D'Aloia & Co. is your choice. My hair for my wedding was exactly what I wanted and even on a hot humid day it stayed perfect and it is all thanks to them!! You ladies are amazing!!!

Simply put, our hair and make-up was perfect!!! From the first time I corresponded with Melissa, the experience was just amazing. Melissa responded to e-mails within minutes, and as soon as I had my trial hair and make-up, I knew this was the perfect hair and make-up team for my wedding day. Melissa D'Aloia & Co is an amazing company to work with! My husband & I (same-sex couple here) were pleased with every aspect of their services from the minute we set up the hair trial appt (for my Maid of Honor) to the last girl getting her hair down on our wedding day. Melissa is a super friendly lady and knows her clientele & the industry. Our main hairstylist was Nicole & she brought along 2 other stylists with her on our day. We had 15 groomsmaids, 2 mothers, and 1 grandmother getting their hair down! Yes, a very large wedding party all together. These stylists were SOOOO friendly, funny, and most importantly hair masters!! Every single girl's hair was absolutely breathtaking! Each and everyone of them were so pleased and happy, as were my husband & I. They had all ladies down before 1pm and their hair styles lasted into the next day!! We had an after party after the wedding, and girl's hairs still looked perfect - even with all the whipping back and forth they did! We can't thank Melissa D'Aloia & Co enough for truly making our ladies look "Red Carpet" ready for our wedding. We most certainly will use them in the future for any female family members needs. :-)

This was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make since I am a girly girl and I love hair and makeup. I knew that I needed to work with someone that was professional, but also made me look amazing. From the booking, to the trial, to day of Melissa and Nicole (hair) were nothing but professional. They arrived bright and early and ready to work on all six of us. Everyone looked so beautiful and we were all getting complimented the whole entire day. Even the bridesmaids, who have all been in many weddings, said that this was the best they ever looked for a wedding! Airbrushing, eyelashes, extensions...I got them all and felt that the pricing was reasonable and worth it when I look back at the pictures. She was great to work with and I'd recommend her to anyone!

Melissa's team is fabulous! They are so talented and easy to work with! Kelly did my hair and Elena did my makeup. Both came out beyond expectations. My makeup lasted ALL NIGHT without getting greasy or coming off. My mother was afraid to look too done up and Elena was able to accentuate her natural beauty. I would also highly recommend doing a trial so you can see how everything will hold up for 8+ hours. I originally wanted to do half up half down, then decided to try an updo since it was a special occasion. Kelly did a beautiful job with the updo and worked it so I could take the bottom half out to see what half up half down would look like too. It definitely helped me make my decision. I would highly recommend Kelly and Elena!!

If looking your absolute best on your wedding day is important to you, Melissa D'Aloia & Co. is who you should book with. I was married on 3/27/15 and used Melissa for my makeup and Andrea for my hair. Melissa is very talented and has a lot of experience in the industry. She made me feel very at ease on my wedding day. Melissa and Andrea came to my house on my wedding day early and ready to work their magic. They did hair and makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids and my mom. Everyone looked gorgeous and not over done. We had a blast that morning getting ready for the wedding in the comfort of our home. I am still receiving compliments on my makeup and hair even though the wedding was almost a month ago. Most important, as the bride I felt really beautiful and happy on my wedding day. When I reached my groom at the end of the aisle he said "Oh my God you are so beautiful". My makeup and hair lasted until 530am the next morning! (we were partying all night!) Melissa is really nice to work with and easy to reach by email. She also gave me great planning advice when I asked for recommendations. I hope I get to have my makeup done by her again for another occasion! I saw some UNTOUCHED photos from my photographer already and my makeup and hair is absolutely flawless looking. You cannot see one pore on my face! Andrea was just as wonderful as Melissa to work with. I wore my hair down and curled for my wedding. I was very nervous that my hair would fall flat by the end of the night. Well at midnight when the wedding ended, after 5 hours of straight dancing, my hair looked just as good as it did when I walked down the aisle in church with just as much volume! I cannot say enough good things about Melissa and Andrea, I just feel very lucky to have found them. They really were a special part of my wedding day and I really appreciate their talent and services. I'm happy and confident to refer them to all my friends and family.

Melissa was so helpful in matching me up with the perfect makeup artist, Nicole. At the trial, she listened to exactly what I envisioned on my wedding day. I had Nicole do my airbrush makeup for my wedding day! She was amazing from the trial to the day of!! During the trial she took her time listening to what I was thinking and what I wanted to look like on my day and made me look so elegant and flawless I really looked and felt beautiful just after the trial! I couldn’t imagine how beautiful she would make look and feel on my day. Nicole took her time and again did a perfect job and I really did feel gorgeous and flawless because she did such an amazing job! Plus my makeup wasn’t over the top I wanted to still look like me on my day and she achieved that! My makeup held the whole night, thru tears, thru hugs and kisses, thru dance after dance. Melissa was recommended by a friend because I wanted to have airbrush make-up and was nervous since it was my first time with airbrush. I had my trial a few months ahead of the wedding and LOVED the airbrush. It was light and airy not at all what I expected, I thought t would be cakey and heavy. My make-up artist was Nicole, and she was AMAZING. She listened to what I wanted, looked at photos I showed her and suggested to try things. I had a lot of girls getting airbrush done, and Melissa was very flexible on the arrival time of the girls. Nicole arrive first, and I regret to not remember the other make-up artist's name, it was a hectic day but she was amazing as well. The process was smooth and surprisingly fast, they worked great with my one hair stylist. They were not rushing with anyone.I had 7 girls including me, and they did light make-up on the flower girl and my niece (both girls are 8). We were finished right on time, and they touched up everyone before leaving.
All of us got fake lashes, and most of us had airbrush and I was sad washing it off at the end of the night. It stayed in place the entire day and night. The first thing my guests said to me was how amazing my make-up was. Looking at my photos, my face looked flawless.Thank You Nicole for making me look and feel like a celebrity on my wedding day.

We had Melissa and Nicole from PROFESSIONAL Make UP by MELISSA DALOIA for my wedding 2 months ago and all I can say is OMG!!!!!!!!!! Being in the wedding industry myself I've seen many many brides, so when it came time for my own wedding I was very selective about the people I chose to use that day. I was so excited to work with Melissa and her crew and I was in no way disappointed. My hair and makeup was one of my major concerns during the wedding planning process, since I've never had a lot of luck getting the look I envisioned for myself. This was not an issue for Melissa's crew who were so patient and dedicated to making sure I was entirely happy with the outcome. I went for my trial with Elena and I knew I was booking the minute she was done. My makeup was gorgeous. I was so excited for her to show up on my wedding day. She has a great personality and she's amazing at what she does. My makeup on my wedding day was even better then my trial. I felt like a supermodel. I was really concerned because I have super oily skin, and what if it was humid?! I knew I was going to cry on my wedding day too so I wanted to make sure I had someone who knew what they were doing. When I looked in the mirror after Elena was done I was blown away. I took a million selfies! I just couldn't believe how stunning I looked. My bridesmaids also loved their makeup!! Everyone at the wedding loved our makeup. Through the rain, humidity and tears our makeup looked like it was never even touched!! One of my maids had a stomach virus, was vomiting and her makeup was PERFECT!!! No one even knew she felt terrible. My mom was nervous that someone was going to make her look like someone else, she didn't want too much makeup. After Elena was done my mom was just amazed. She had fake eyelashes on and she loved them!! We all couldn't have been more excited to show off our makeup. People are still complimenting our makeup a month later. Melissa saved me when my makeup artist bailed at the last minute to move across the country. Right off the bat, she was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which made me feel much more at ease about the pickle I was in. She was not available herself on the day of my wedding, but she referred me to Elena who was AWESOME!! I can't say enough good things about her. Not only is she a bomb makeup artist with ridiculous attention to detail, she is hilarious and entertaining while she works. All of my bridesmaids have called me since the wedding to tell me it was the best makeup they have had in a wedding. I would recommend Melissa's company to anyone in the area who wants to look their absolute best on their wedding day! After seeing the beautiful makeup Melissa did for a couple of my friends, I booked Melissa as my wedding makeup artist over a year before my wedding, without actually meeting her or having a trial. I couldn't have been happier! She was fantastic to work with and really listened to what I asked for- my makeup and hair (hair was done by one of her wonderful team members) were EXACTLY what I wanted on my wedding day and she worked quickly, but without rushing. Two of her team members also did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures, and did a great job!

My mother and MIL loved their hair and makeup as well, and I had a great time getting ready with Melissa- she's funny, sweet, and makes you feel so comfortable. Definitely the best in the business!

I want to start by thanking Melissa for being so totally amazing from the start. She was quick to respond to my emails and any questions I might have had. She has a great disposition and her and her team are a pleasure to work with. My trial was fantastic and I walked out of the studio knowing I made the best choice possible for my big day. Fast forward to my wedding day... I don't think I have ever felt more beautiful in my whole life. Rebeka did a fantastic job with my make up it did not budge an inch and i didn't have to do any touch ups. Which says a lot considering the day of my wedding it was extremely humid. Plus she made my the girls and my mom look very pretty. Kelly did a remarkable job on my hair which is unruly at times, it baby fine and likes to do its own thing, but Kelly got it to do exactly what she wanted it to do and it stayed in place. The best was there was no teasing so it didn't take forever and a day to take it down on after, because who wants to do that on there wedding night......there are better things to do.....

I did a lot of online research for hair and makeup artists prior to even calling anyone to get more information. Melissa’s portfolio stood out to me the most – her and her team’s work was amazing! After speaking through email I decided to go for a trial. I met with Irene who did my hair and Nicole for makeup. I didn’t really have an idea of what I wanted at that point – it was still 5 months prior to my wedding - but wow they did a great job! I booked right away. In addition to the great work I saw she was also the most reasonably priced so it was a no brainer! On the day of, the girls arrived on time and had everyone done pretty much right on schedule which was great because we had such a large group - 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and 2 Mothers and me! Everyone looked absolutely STUNNING! It was so exciting to see it all start to come together. And then there was me. Irene did an absolutely amazing job on my hair! It was completely different than the trial but she totally nailed it – I got so many compliments! And Nicole did a beautiful job on my makeup – it was very natural looking, I still looked like myself, which is exactly what I wanted! Melissa and team were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely recommend them!

Melissa and Irene did my hair for the day of my wedding (11/02/13) and I don't even know where to begin to sing their praises. They were such a fun group to work with and put me at ease from the minute they arrived at my house to the moment they left. My hair and makeup was perfect and stayed put all day long even through my happy tears and getting cake on my face by my husband!! My mother, mother-in- law, and bridesmaids looked equally stunning and I was told by many people that I had one of the best looking bridal parties they have seen in a while. Melissa and Irene brought an additional makeup and hair artist to my house and had myself, my mother, my mother-in-law, seven bridesmaids and two flower girls ready on time and looking stunning! The morning ran like clockwork thanks to their talent and professionalism. I can't thank these girls enough for their hard work!

Amazing, unforgettable, professional, fun, charismatic, creative, thankful awesome! These are just some of the words to explain my experience with Melissa and her team.

I struggle to find the right words that really brag about Melissa and Andrea (hair). But.....here is what I came up with !

Melissa from the very beginning was responsive, friendly and overall a true professional. She has a great studio for trials and she is very flexible when trying to schedule things. Melissa did my mother in law and my sister and they were both so happy with her work. Just amazing !!!!

Andrea did an amazing job on my hair and my sisters hair. We have known Andrea a long time and it was so great to have her be part of my special day. She took her time and made suggestions along the way so make sure we were both happy with the end product. LOVE !!!!!

We started the day at 9:30 and we had so much fun. No pressure, stress free and just pure fun!

I HIGHLY recommend Melissa and her team to any bride and bridal party. They are a great group and will make your wedding day very special !!

I highly recommend Melissa D'Aloia & Co! Melissa is very responsive and helpful, and she has a team of very talented professionals who are a pleasure to work with. I had my trial with Elena and really liked my makeup but wanted to tweak it a bit for my wedding day. When I brought this up to Melissa, she was very helpful. I spoke with Elena over the phone to explain the changes I wanted to make to my trial makeup and she was so flexible about everything and so sweet! She is very knowledgeable about makeup and AMAZING at what she does! Not only was my makeup flawless for my wedding day, but Elena and Michelle (who came to help out) were so sweet and made getting ready such a fun process! I felt more beautiful than ever on my wedding day and couldn't believe how amazing my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids looked too! I am so happy I used Melissa D' Aloia & Co for my wedding makeup. Melissa was so great and easy to get in touch with. I used artists Nicole and Sabrina. They did an amazing job on the makeup for my bridesmaids, my mother, the mother of the groom, groom's aunt, grandmother of the groom, and myself! Everyone loved their makeup! I got so many compliments and my makeup lasted all day long. Nicole listened to everything I wanted and created my perfect look. I wish she could do my makeup everyday. :-)

Melissa and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I was referred to Melissa from one of my bridesmaids and could not have been happier. From day one Melissa was incredibly responsive -- I kept changing the amount of people to get services or when the trial was -- and it was a non issue to her. Such a professional, I was hooked even before her and the team did the bridal party's make up and hair!

On the big day Melissa, Gianna, and Nicole were absolutely fabulous. Gianna did an amazing job with hair -- keeping everyones hair different but still having everything work together -- all the BMs had a different version of a bun to match the high neckline & low back of the BM dresses. I was not too set on what to do with the girls hair so she provided great direction and the final product was perfect.

As for makeup - WOW - is all i can say. The BMs,MOB,MOG, and myself all looked like MOVIE STARS on the way to the Osacars (which is pretty much the equivalent of a brides wedding day)!!! So beautiful! Melissa & Nicole did a great job making sure everyone "matched" and while all the girls were different we all still looked like a cohesive group. Something that I wasn't really thinking about but when looking at the end product it was perfect (and exactly what i wanted!)

Long story short, anyone that is newly engaged I will be passing along Melissa's information. I highly recommend working with her. The entire team over at Melissa D'Aloia & Co are top notch.

I can't say enough about Melissa D'Aloia and Co, they were out of this world amazing!! From start to finish they made my wedding day amazing!! Andrea did an amazing job with hair, and I could not have chosen a better person for my wedding hair!! Marilu was amazing, so easy to talk to and all my girls loved their makeup !! My makeup was incredible!. My wedding party, mother and grandma all looked AMAZING! I really could not have asked for two better women to have made all my dreams come true!!! I absolutely loved Melissa and her team. I got married the week after Melissa, and even though she was deep into her own wedding plans, she was always available for any questions or to talk about ideas I had for my wedding look.

I originally hired Melissa’ company to do my hair, however when my makeup artist cancelled on me two weeks before my wedding, Melissa came to the rescue, and made sure she found someone not already tied up with another event to help me. I am so thankful, they really cared about making my day perfect.

I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and my hair and makeup came out perfect and better than I had imagined.

Melissa always responded to me the same day which made planning trials and answering all my questions very easy. Samantha did both my hair and make-up, and she was amazing. Melissa D'Aloia & Co. was wonderful to work with for hair services for my wedding. Although I never met Melissa in person and communication was always through email, she was always courteous an d prompt! We used Tammy as our hair designer, and she was fantastic. She was amazing at the trial and I had no doubt in my mind that she would be wonderful on the morning of the wedding. Tammy was on time and did a fabulous job on my hair and also for the other 4 bridesmaids. Everyone's hair stayed the entire day and through the after party!

I used Melissa's company for Hair and makeup and was not disappointed in either! Melissa was easy to communicate with. We went back and forth through email and text when we were in a bind. There had to be changes made in our time needed to be ready by due to a change in our getting ready destination and Melissa was great and helped accommodate me through the process. I was worried about not having enough time for everything so they sent an assistant. My hair dresser Irene was awesome! She made all my bridal party members happy with their hair and my hair was stunning! I never received so many compliments before. All her curls, my tiara, and veil lasted all night. I was nervous my tiara and veil would fall off during our choreographed dance but she assured me it was fastened enough so it wouldn't and she was right!
My makeup artist was wonderful too! I never had a makeup trial done with her so I was nervous, but I brought a picture of what I liked and didn't like and she replicated what I liked beautifully and made it even better! My makeup looked natural and yet covered all my imperfections.

Both girls working with me and my bridesmaids were sociable, friendly, and easy to talk with. They made our getting ready process fun and memorable. Def recommend this company!! Thanks again :)

Thanks to Melissa, I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. Not only did Melissa do an amazing job for me, but my huge bridal party who also got tons of compliments about how gorgeous they looked as well! Melissa will listen to exactly what look you want and will make sure you are happy. The even better part is that you feel like you are getting your makeup done by a friend, especially as you and your girls are getting ready and laughing the wedding nervous away. Melissa will put you at ease and make you feel like a model!

I Last night was my hair trial at their uber comfortable salon in Verona ( about 25 min drive from NYC if NY brides! ) and it was great. Andrea made me feel completely at ease. I had a vague idea of how I wanted my hair- down with curls to compliment a birdcage veil. It was like she was reading my mind with the first picture she showed me as an example- and when she actually did my hair, it came out awesome. I also plan on getting extensions done for the day itself, and she was very helpful with explaining the different type of options I could get. ( I have never had extensions, so a bit nervous with how they would work ) Andrea also works as a hair stylist at another salon, but didnt pressure me to get the extension through her whatsoever. She was just giving me the info to simply help. The trial breezed by as well because she was so easy to talk to, and at the end, you feel like you really know the person who could be such an important part of the big day. One thing I really appreciate about this group is their responsiveness. Prior to finding Melissa D'Aloia & Co, I reached out to 3 different hair stylists through friend recommendations-- None of them ever got back to me! I got nervous since my wedding is six months away in the popular month of June, but then I read about them on Weddingwire & within minutes of my inquiry email, I recieved a very detailed reply from Melissa herself. Everytime I send her an email, I get a response within 24 hours. Melissa herself is engaged, so I think she extra appreciates/understands the importance of communication during these planning stages. If you are looking for a hair stylist that you can trust and be comfortable with, I would definately recommend trying these girls out. I am 100% at ease now and really excited to have Andrea for my wedding! Like them on Facebook as well so you can see the different looks of recent brides...Hope this helps :)

AMAZING! That is the only word I can use to describe Melissa and Kristi. When I met with them for my trial, I knew they were the right people to have for my day. They were easy going and really took what I wanted and made it happen without questioning.

I got married right after Hurricane Sandy and Melissa kept in constant contact with me and reassured me that everything would be fine and they would be there no matter what. They arrived early and gave everyone the attention they all deserved. We actually were on schedule with everything and finished 15 minutes earlier than I had planned!

Melissa and Sabine made me and my bridal party look absolutely STUNNING. Kristi and Irene were so great, they really matched everyone's hairstyles to what they wanted. They were friendly and personable and just made everyone feel so comfortable.

I have to say though, Melissa and Kristi made me look a feel amazing. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and makeup and I have to agree, I looked fabulous.

They are the ABSOLUTE BEST that you can have. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future for events and other weddings. Thank you again so much, you guys rock!!!
