McGrath promised/ McGrath delivered

As mother of the bride, it was my job to help make wedding planning as easy on the bride as possible. And forging that plan from a thousand miles away was no easy task! The concern of finding vendors that would be the right fit was daunting. Discovering and securing McGrath Clambakes and Catering happened to be one of the best decisions we made!

Their menu options were plentiful and working with Melissa in the office was effortless. The office conveniently handles organizing the ‘packing lists’ for the vendors for tables, chairs and place settings to ensure all match the headcount. As time got closer to our event, there were many loose ends; however, there was no concern in the catering department.

The day was drizzly, but that didn’t hold back the crew from arriving promptly and setting up their bake. When the time was right, TR was ‘center of attention’ (second only to the bride) as he unveiled his masterpiece and explained it’s history and the process by which the ‘bake’ was systematically assembled and presented.

We thought we knew what to expect, but when the tarps were peeled back, our guests were enthralled, impressed and entertained!
We ALL were amazed with the presentation and explanation!

So. A sincere and heartfelt thank you TR and your ‘crew’! Apparently, a clam bake is both a science AND an art!

(Also. Our guests, weeks later, are still telling us it was the best lobster they’d ever had!)

Absolutely amazing!

We worked with McGraths for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough! Nadine on the McGrath team is incredible to work with for the months and months leading up to the big day! She was always there to answer any one-off questions and would let me talk through all the crazy ideas I had. During the wedding, it was clear Nadine’s job was to make the day go smoothly and she sure did. She helped coordinate with all the vendors to ensure everything went smoothly!

As for the full McGraths team – the staff was incredible! So kind and friendly to our guests. We had a sit-down dinner with their seasonal menu and it was INCREDIBLE. Some of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had! Plus, I loved how McGraths does a seasonal menu, it meant all the food was sourced fresh and locally – it also meant I didn’t have to make big menu decisions which I loved!

I would recommend McGraths to anyone in the Rhode Island area looking for a caterer. They are 10/10 even if you don’t do a clambake, trust me!

An Unforgettable Wedding Feast

From the moment we began planning our wedding, we knew that the catering would be one of the most important elements. We wanted to offer our guests an unforgettable culinary experience, and McGrath's absolutely delivered! We opted for the surf and turf (our friends and family are still raving about it). The quality of the food was simply outstanding – the steak was cooked to perfection, and the lobster was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was truly a highlight of the evening. The raw bar was another huge hit and a perfect touch, adding a sophisticated New England flair that our guests thoroughly enjoyed. It was beautifully presented. Beyond the exceptional food, McGrath's professionalism and organization were truly impressive. The entire team was a dream to work with. In particular, Nadine was amazing to work with. They were incredibly responsive, attentive to every detail, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Their experience and expertise were evident in every aspect of their service. They didn't just cater our wedding; they helped us throw a fantastic party! McGrath's ability to seamlessly handle all the logistics allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our special day. The service was impeccable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the entire event flowed effortlessly. Where do we even begin, we had the best day of our lives thanks to McGrath's team!

Where do we even begin, we had the best day of our lives thanks to McGrath's team! Everything from the planning, the details, coordination, and everything day-of - we could not be more grateful. Alexis was our coordinator and the entire day was seamless! Her, Melissa, TR and the full team made the day so special. We're still hearing compliments from all of our friends and family about how much they enjoyed the day, service and especially the food!

All of the passed items for cocktail hour and food for dinner service were amazing, and any small detail we mentioned we wanted to include they were able to make possible! We wouldn't change a thing and cannot recommend them enough!

Incredible Clam Bake Experience!

We wanted to make it a New England Clam Bake Experience to our guests especially those coming to the area for the very first time. McGrath's was awesome to work with, very responsive with quote and all the details prior to event. Four months after our wedding our guests are still raving about the food from our wedding stating it was the best they've ever had at an event with 120 people. I highly recommend McGrath for any of your future events!

Fabulous, from start to finish!

We had the worst weather of the entire season (rain and wind), but the best event thanks to McGrath! Clambake was delicious, desserts and bar offerings as well, our guests were raving during and after—huge success. One guest even asked if McGrath would go to NJ to cater their daughter’s wedding!

Also, staff were helpful, professional and friendly both at the office and onsite. Highly recommend!!

Wedding on tiny island

McGraths not only traveled via boat to cook and serve, but also executed a perfectly choreographed traditional clambake in record time. The meal was beyond delicious. Service excellent. All while adding historical context and entertainment to our wedding.

So awesome to work with!

My daughters wedding day was in our backyard and it was rainy and got muddy! The whole team still managed to be so professional and deliver a great meal for all of us. From beginning to end McGrath's was easy to work with, communicated well and served a great meal. I highly recommend.

Perfect Rehearsal Dinner Venue

Planning a rehearsal dinner can be stressful much less planning a rehearsal dinner 800 miles away. Melissa made it easy. She was extremely helpful, timely and always professional. They were able to accommodate special diet requests which was much appreciated. Her team executed a perfect rehearsal dinner....from the attentive servers to the delicious menu choices.
I would highly recommend McGrath Clambakes and Catering for any special events in the Newport area.

Beyond Our Expectations!

We never thought we'd be able to afford a lobster bake for our daughter's wedding this September, but from the moment we met with Alexis we knew it would be possible. I can't say enough about the quality, quantity and presentation of the bake. Simply amazing!! All of the staff was professional and so helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend or use McGrath's again. If you are on the fence about considering a Lobster Bake, you will not be disappointed when you choose McGrath's! Just do it!

Exceeded Our Expectations!!

Alexis was super attentive and everyone involved from McGrath’s truly exceeded all of our expectations! I credit their company with making our wedding day such a success. They are the utmost professionals and often thought of details that we might have missed. They’re planning and experience definitely calmed me when I felt very overwhelmed. And, the day of the event, they provided truly fantastic food! We’ve been to several events this summer catered by other companies and the food was marginal quality and often cold by the time we ate. We ordered the surf and turf for everyone and the quality of the filet and lobster were outstanding. It came out nice and hot as well as being cooked perfectly. In addition to such a fantastic meal, they provided a terrific waitstaff. The bartender and waitstaff made sure that all of our guests felt completely accommodated. If I could leave a sixth star, I would!!

Amazing authentic experience

I hired the team at McGraths to cater our wedding after my brother had a great experience with them a few years earlier. Their reputation is so great I did not even bother to look elsewhere. We did a traditional clambake, raw bar, passed apps, and passed chocolate chip cookies and milk shooters. All the food was amazing in taste and presentation! McGraths facilitated a stress free COVID reschedule with no added fees and also managed all the chair, table etc. rentals so we didn't have to separately coordinate that. We had a super helpful meeting with Alexis (one of their senior event coordinators) on site at our venue a few weeks in advance to run through final menu choices, logistics etc. During that meeting I felt like she had crucial suggestions outside catering based on her experience with the venue such as bringing in bistro lighting. The day of the wedding the McGraths team was so kind and accommodating to our guests including bringing full buffet plates and cracking lobsters for elderly and handicapped guests, patching up a bloody dance floor injury and keeping our dog hydrated and treated. They even packaged up leftover lobsters etc. and sent them home with our families after the party so nothing would be wasted. I can't say enough good things about Alexis and the McGraths team. I would recommend them to anyone.

Lifesavers!

When our caterer had to cancel 10 days before our wedding, Alexis from McGrath Clambakes was our lifesaver. Not only was she super quick to get back to me when I was making panicked phone calls, she was so kind and understood my stress. McGraths was able to cater our 200 guest wedding within a weeks notice, and the food was really the star of the whole day. Chef TR & team and Alexis were able to pull off the most amazing beach clambake and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was 3 months later. We couldn’t be more grateful!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Alexis & McGrath's. Alexis was extremely supportive, responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She worked with my budget and was able to flex whenever needed (even amidst a pandemic). They day of the wedding was absolutely beautiful and my guests still talk how wonderful the food was. Best wedding caterer ever!

McGrath's made our wedding more perfect than we dreamed of! Alexis was so helpful and communicative as COVID restrictions were constantly changing. Day of, the whole team was indispensable and went above and beyond to help the day come together. The catering staff were so kind and professional. And the food itself was phenomenal! So many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they've ever had, and personally I wish I could have that meal all over again! We would highly recommend choosing McGrath's for your catering needs.

Wouldn’t of had it any other way!

From planning during a crazy year, to the day of, McGraths was nothing short of professional, poised, happy, and overall a joy to work with. It was everything my husband and I could have imagined and more. They completely understood the vision and made it come to life.

Amazing team to work with!

We decided on an intimate family dinner for our wedding and the McGrath team helped execute an amazing event from start to finish. They were full service from helping us figure out what tables where best to use in our space to brining everything on site (including heaters!) and helping with a back up rain plan. During the event we had incredible service and the food was amazing! I really loved working with this team!!

Awesome experience

McGraths was so easy to work with while planning our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was. No one went home hungry. We were not able to have a bar due to COVID-19 guidelines but McGraths had servers that made sure every guest was taken care of. We would recommend them for any wedding or special event!!

Best wedding caterers in NE

McGraths catered our wedding on 8-10-19. We went with the clam bake—served. Our guests loved the food and people are still telling us, four months later, that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The clam chowder station was also a big hit. Alexis and the other office staff were great. She made sure we could get what we wanted within our budget and ran the show on our wedding night. Mcgraths isn’t cheap but it also isn’t as expensive as I would have expected. We looked into other caterers, and many of them were charging the same prices as mcgraths (or charging more) for typical wedding food; ie not lobster. Our guests also loved the experience of hearing the chefs talk about the clambake and watching the opening of the clambake. It felt like an added experience.

Fantastic staff and delicious food

McGrath's was such a pleasure to work with! Everything from choosing the menu, tweaking it to how we wanted, the staff the day of, and our coordinator were so fantastic and the process was stress-free. The food was delicious and our guests couldn't stop raving about their meal! The poached pear and walnut salad with goat cheese was a hit. I would absolutely recommend McGrath's to anyone in RI or the surrounding areas as their caterer!

Spectacular Clambake Experience Beyond Expectations

McGrath Clambakes exceeded all of our expectations for the rehearsal dinner of our son and his bride. Planned from 3000 miles away the dinner went off without a hitch. Guests were blown away by the reveal of the cooking process as well as the unbelievably delicious food. Of all our event planning for the evening, McGrath was truly the most wonderful to work with. Their communication and reassurance along with their professionalism and sincere kindness was 5 star! We recommend McGrath for any clambake plans you might have. Wonderful Reception

McGraths Clambakes & Catering went above & beyond our expectations for our outdoor reception. Everything (non-food related included) went off without a hitch thanks to McGraths (one of the caterers even helped fix our toddlers bow in her hair)! Wonderful people and delicious food

An Unparalleled Catering Experience

Words can’t describe how grateful we are that we chose McGrath’s as our wedding caterer. They are simply amazing at what they do and the whole experience was perfection. Alexis helped craft exactly what I envisioned our wedding day to look and feel like and she helped me from losing my mind along the way. She tailored the menu to help us get the most for our money and make sure it was exactly what we wanted. She had fabric swatches mailed to our house to help choose linens and drew up floor plans to plan precisely how everything would be laid out. Alexis made sure that I was aware and confident in everything that was going on. When I ran into complications with our venue coordinator, Alexis immediately stepped up and offered to take over her responsibilities. I could not have asked for more in terms of personalized service and professionalism.

Turning a museum into a wedding venue in a matter of hours is no small task, and McGrath’s did an unbelievable job. They set up all the props and signs we had dropped off at the venue, which freed up my mom to really enjoy the day. We had multiple guests arrive an hour early, guests switching tables at the last minute and guests who didn’t forewarn us about dietary restrictions. The team was able to roll with it like professionals. They truly went above and beyond. The presentation of the passed hors devours was beautiful, and there was more than enough to go around. The entree was seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and we still have guests telling us how impressed they were. The entire waitstaff was friendly, attentive and super efficient. At the end of the night they told us not to worry about anything and it was all ready for us to pick up in the morning. McGrath’s was so much better than we could have imagined, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous Food and Guests LOVED It!

Alexis helped us coordinate details every step of the way from menu selection to linen and tableware selection to venue set-up. She was incredibly patient with us and was readily available to meet with us as anytime in the office and even at the venue months beforehand. She offered suggestions to help us budget-wise and still provide a unique experience for our day...she even hooked us up with a fire-pit and cigar/whiskey bar which was a HUGE hit! Especially with the guests who weren't so into dancing but kept them feeling good and I swear that's why they stayed until the bitter end! Hahaha! Several guests left saying that it was the best wedding they've ever attended! The gentlemen setting up and cooking the clamebake were super personable and did a great job explaining their background and the process of cooking the food. And oh my god the lobster was the BEST lobster I've ever tasted! It was cooked peeerfectly.

Overall, McGrath was able to offer a classy set-up but still provide that casual/fun/country vibe we were going for. It was top-notch, personalized service and my husband and I are incredibly grateful for all the work they put in for us. Thanks guys!!

My experience working with McGrath was nothing short of perfect. They worked diligently with us in the months leading up to our wedding to craft an original menu that reflected exactly what we had always dreamed of serving at our wedding. McGrath catered our rehearsal dinner for 60 people outdoors under a tent which we had to plan from out of state. We made many special requests for table settings, wine and beer and menu and all were responded to quickly and positively. Melissa McGrath helped coach us through many decisions..I would be embarrassed to count all the emails that I sent to her with new questions and thoughts over the 10 months of planning! Food was delicious and beautifully presented and service was always there and pleasant but never obtrusive. The site coordinator the day of the event seemed to know my questions and concerns before I could ask them! I would absolutely recommend them and I would trust their judgement on issues from wine to menu selections to service schedules, etc.

Alexis was the most amazing caterer. She made us feel so at ease. She truly took care of everything and our family couldn’t do anything other than rave about her! She saved the day on more than one instance as our venue manager left immediately after the ceremony. Alexis picked up the slack and beyond. We had a rather tight timeframe - 2 months to be exact - between when we first met with the McGrath team, to our wedding date. From the first phone conversation I was impressed with Stacy's enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to accommodate our requests. She always offered options and suggestions that were consistent with our vision. The day of the wedding she worked with our decorations and her team to fully realize what we had envisioned. Following the ceremony she was always there with a drink, and appetizer or a smile ! We recommend the McGrath team without hesitation!

I worked with Alexis on my company's Summer Outing and she was fantastic. She helped me work within budget (and we actually came in under budget!) and gave wonderful food selections. She took a lot of the worry off my shoulders by coordinating everything: the food, the tent, tables and chairs and the bar service. All of the employees at McGrath's were top notch - I know I felt special.

McGrath's did an incredible clambake & family style catering for our October wedding in Jamestown. We wanted high quality food but an environment that still felt casual and fun, and that was exactly what McGrath's delivered. They did a wonderful explanation of the clambake to our guests which we really enjoyed. Because we chose not to do a wedding cake, the traditional "ringing of the bell" for the clambake unveiling served as a replacement for the cake cutting, in a way that was much more authentic to us (and more fun, in our opinion). Very professional staff & very flexible. Highly recommend!

The clambake was magical!! We hired McGrath Clambakes to cater the Friday night welcome dinner for our guests and it was a HUGE hit. Most of our guests had never been to Rhode Island, let alone a clambake, so this was a perfect way to welcome them the real New England way. The “reveal” was such a great experience—our guests thought it was incredible! And, the food was delicious! Of course, the lobster was amazing, but the clams, the mussels, even the BBQ chicken were fantastic, too.

Allie was organized and responsive during the entire planning process, and was very willing to accommodate tweaks here or there to make the experience easy for us. And, TR was charasmatic and take-charge leading the team on the day-of. These guys really know what they’re doing, and they do an extraordinary job.

Thank you to the whole team at McGrath Clambakes for making our event so much fun (and so delicious). We couldn’t imagine a better Friday night welcome dinner for our wedding weekend!

Don't use Wedding Planner Jaime Nelson... She is terrible!! Doesn't work for McGraths, she is independent. But recommended me to them, and McGraths is what saved my wedding from being a disaster. Jaime did not give the florist the correct amount of tables therefore cost me extra money in addition to her already outrageous fee for doing nothing!!

All in all use McGrath's!! Don't use Jaime Nelson!

What's better at a Rhode Island wedding than a raw bar and a surf & turf menu? We had McGraths cater our food for our Jamestown, RI wedding and had so many compliments from the guests! McGrath Clambakes was a wonderful company to work with! First of all, the food was delicious. We did the lobster boil buffet, and many guests went out of their way to tell me how tasty everything was. Secondly, the staff was super friendly and professional. One of the servers was really sweet and even cracked open my mother-in-law's lobster when she was having trouble. :) And thirdly, Allie was so organized, thorough and responsive, that she made all the planning really easy for us. We're very grateful for her help! Another great thing about McGrath is that they provided a tent and all the rentals with their package, so it was nice to have all that handled by one vendor instead of several. It seemed cost effective for us as well since we were on a tight budget. We really couldn't have been happier with our choice. They were fantastic!

Ever woman grows up dreaming of their perfect wedding. As a native Rhode Islander, dishes like Clam Chowder and Lobster were always a part of my vision of a perfect meal for a wedding. McGrath Clambakes turned that dream into a reality. From the creamy clam chowder, to the Lobster tails and beef filet, every single piece of food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. I knew going into it that the hardest part would be making sure to eat, but I had no problem making sure to eat because the food was so delicious!

Not only did they make amazing food that my guests are still raving about two months later, but they handled my tent, tabling and linens. Even the dance floor came with the package, leaving me with more time to focus on the tiny details.

The wait staff was friendly, professional and flexible with every request.

TR and Melissa were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them without hesitation! Even when I was so caught up getting ready that I didn’t notice the dessert hadn’t been delivered – Melissa was on the phone tracking down the Bakery.

Everything was seamless and having McGrath Clambakes as our caterer was a huge reason why the Wedding was such a fantastic time and quite frankly, the best day of my life.

They are true clambake professionals, you can tell they've been doing it for a really long time and know exactly what they're doing. Everything was cooked perfectly and had an amazing smokey flavor. Many of our guests have been eating lobster for years and said it's the best they've ever had! The service was great too, we were so impressed by their friendly and attentive staff. It felt like dining at a fine restaurant. And they were very accommodating with our menu when it came to special dietary requests including gluten-free, shellfish allergies, and vegan alternatives. Every single guest was happy with whatever meal they had and we got many compliments after. So happy with the entire experience :)

The coordinator and wait staff could not have been any nicer! The quality and amount of food was fantastic. I gave this some thought, and I could not think of a single thing that I would change. After the clean up, you would have never known that the caterer was ever there. Lastly, I made several changes right up to a week or so before the event, and everything was, "No problem,"

Staff is EXCELLENT... We have used McGrath for family reunions and now daughter wedding reception. I cannot say enough good things about Aliie, TR, and the rest of the crew! They even packaged uo o,ages for the neighbors that let us borrow parking! They are wonderful and we will call on them again!

Before selecting McGrath Caterer I read every review I could find. I thought if they are half as good as reported I would have a successful event. The outcome was far above my expectations. Working with Allie, our coordinator, was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. She kept all parts of the process organized. Without feeling pressured she was always there to assist with ever detail. All emails were answered quickly. Information on linen and tableware were explained. She would make me feel comfortable with my decisions and guide me if I was off track.
McGrath' s provides you with names and places to locate anything you might want to add to the event.
The majority of the planning time I was in Florida. I always felt that everything was being arranged and executed perfectly. This was my first experience working with a caterer. I would definitely recommend McGrath' s.
The staff that worked the event were fabulous. They quietly reached me to check on schedule and adjusted the serving times to accommodate some guests that arrived a little late. Each server and cook was skilled and professional.
Lastly, the food was wonderful. Several guests chose steak rather than lobster. One guest reported that it was the.best steak he had eaten. What a great compliment for a company that is known for its clambakes.

Allie and McGrath Clambakes made our wedding day one that us and our guests will NEVER forget. The Lobster Bake meal was perfection; guests are still raving about it! From the first inquiry e-mail about pricing and menu, all the way through the planning and day of our wedding their professionalism and service was top notch. Allie, our event coordinator, went above and beyond for us in every aspect. We never waited more than an hour or two for an e-mail response and no request was too much trouble. Allie took the time to meet with us personally on more than one occasion until every detail was perfect. The day of our wedding Allie made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were both taken care of. We had no worries on our wedding day thanks to Mcgrath Clambakes and Allie! I can't wait to have another event so that we can use them again! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Five Star caterer!!

These guys were amazing!! I had my wedding on a private residence and Allie and TR literally did everything for me so professionally and were beyond helpful. Being an ultimate DIY wedding, I had a ton of stuff running through my head and they were both saviors! Despite weather threats, they were completely on the ball and guided me just enough to make for the perfect day. The food was delicious - everyone loved it. The service was A+++

McGrath's was one of the true highlights of our wedding. The owner TR came out to review the plan for the tent and food a few weeks prior. He was on top of every detail and need during the reception. Our event coordinator Allie was trustworthy, calm, on top of everything and a joy to work with. She had it all together the day of the reception - she truly went above and beyond. The food was outstanding - guests from Nantucket were raving about the quality of the lobsters and the appetizers were gone faster than anything. McGraths took care of just about everything and were a pleasure to work with. I recommend them for any party/wedding/event/function!!

Melissa at mcgrath's was a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. She was always patient and kind to me even when I was harried or missed a deadline. I had a small garden party and she was always helpful and flexible with options and suggestions, and I never felt pressured to do anything I didn't want. Because I was planning from across the country, eventually I had to just let go and trust McGrath's to run the day - and they did so beautifully. All of my guests commented on how beautiful everything looked, how tasty the food was and how professional they were. Thank you guys!!

We are from Virginia and had to secure catering services for my son's rehearsal dinner. The food, presentation and extremely professional staff went beyond my highest expectations. The lobsters, clams and mussels were simply amazing. Allie Cashman and McGrath,s made coordinating an event for approximately 80 people from out-of-state as easy as possible and they were extremely tolerant of my many changes in venue. If I could rate them higher on the scale provided, I would.

Greetings, I wouldn't regularly give a five out of five review but TR McGrath and Allie of McGrath's Clambakes and their incredible staff and crew deserve every star and more! Can I give McGrath's a ten star review, please?! We celebrated my daughter's wedding under a tent in June and everything had to come to us which adds to the stress that any wedding already creates. From the moment we contacted McGrath's until one in the morning after the wedding when they stayed late to ensure that every detail had been attended to, they surpassed our expectations. TR even worked after hours Friday night before the wedding to redesign the tent lay-out to accommodate a last minute request on my part. Allie was incredibly patient and supportive as she worked with us to refine the menu (again and again!!) and order the linens and glassware and flatware. Their professionalism and good humor put us all at ease. And the food! Wow! One would expect that the clambake, their specialty, would be great. And it was amazing! An impressive, spectacular, unveiling of the bake entertained and delighted our guests. I can add that the passed appetizers, especially the corn meal crusted fried oysters, are still on my mind two months later! And, as I am allergic to lobster, I ordered the filet mignon. Best filet I ever had. And I have been lucky to have some nice steak house filets. The service was perfect. We had 180 guests and no one waited for their served dinners. The food was presented hot and beautifully plated. Guests were taking pictures of their plates! Our guests had a blast and raved about enjoying the food and the wonderful staff who come together from the Newport community with generosity of spirit and care to be sure that Jane and Kevin had a memorable and care free wedding. I cannot thank them enough. Jane and I wish we could do it all again next June! Bravo McGrath's, Bravo!!!

Mcgrath's catered both our rehearsal & wedding nights. Allie , TR, and the rest of their team were just amazing. My Husband and I were across the country planning and everyone at Mcgrath's made the process so easy. From the phone calls, finally our face to face meetings, the set up , to the food and service. All of our guests came up to us saying the food on both nights was the best food they have ever been served at a wedding and said the staff was fantastic. They were much than just a caterer helping with small touches such as putting our homemade napkin ring holders on the napkins, setting up special tables for our ceremony, to helping coordinate the entrance of the wedding party. We can never thank them enough for helping make our weekend something we will never forget.

FYI - Event Wire did not provide an appropriate event choice for our gathering. We had a family reunion dinner for 47 people in town for a wedding - but chose "anniversary" as the closest.

Allie at McGrath was WONDERFUL and so patient with me as I called her several times to ask questions and confirm plans for our Lobster Boil Dinner. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff could not have been more efficient and friendly. I wish I could remember everyone's name to adequately recognize individual servers but unfortunately, I cannot.

I wish McGrath catered out-of-state events because I would bring them to Chicago in a minute for a Lobster Boil here!

The entire planning process went smoothly and was very enjoyable. It was difficult for us to pick the menu because all of the food options were so delicious. You and your staff were always readily available to answer our questions and concerns.

We had an outdoor wedding at my moms house with about 60 guests. The day before the event the crew came and started setup. They were quick and efficient and it really helped to make the day of run smoothly. The day of TR and his staff arrived on time and ready to go.

The food and service was impeccable and we along with all of our guests were beyond impressed. We are so grateful and appreciative to you for going the extra mile to create a menu and atmosphere that reflected our personalities. Thank you again to you and your staff, you all really helped to make the day perfect!

McGrath Clambakes did an amazing job for our June wedding. They built the clambake on the beach, rang a bell and gathered all guests to explain the process and show the food - they were friendly, fun and accommodating and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them and I personally would use them again for another catering event.

My daughter's wedding was perfect!! McGrath's was amazing from the minute I contacted them until the event was over. Every aspect of our event was truly exceptional. The service was friendly and attentive, the food was just delicious. Guests continue to comment on how wonderful the meal was. I know McGrath is famous for their clambakes, but that is not all they do. Our menu consisted of Steak or Chicken and it was incredible! The appetizers were delicious and the presentation was impeccable. Our event coordinator Kerry really made the whole process easy. She was attentive, accommodating and detail oriented. The day of the wedding she took the stress away which enabled me to really enjoy the special day. TR prepared the incredible meal and personally checked to make sure everyone was happy. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. It was perfect!

With the guidance of Kerry Sullivan & TR, I was able to organize a wedding that guests have described as the best wedding they have ever been to!

Kerry & TR have a personable manner and great depth of knowledge, they made the planning process easy. They and their staff are professional, friendly and attentive to detail.... resulting in a beautifully presented and orchestrated event. Kerry saw to the flow of the day & TR saw that our food was amazing! They effortlessly provided for all my guests even those with food allergies.

My guests are still talking about the fabulous food. Cocktail hour was a hit with a delicious chowder station and beautifully presented passed appetizers. The grilled lobster tails and fillets were cooked to perfection & beautifully served with delicious sides. Even the wedding cake was presented beautifully with fresh whipped cream and assorted berries.

I commend all at McGraths and I thank you for a memorable day!
