They did an amazing job!!! The food was delicious and they were very professional. Everyone loved the open bar. They even cut and served the cake for us. I would highly recommend them to everyone!!! -

The staff especially Kim and Johnny are so nice and easy to work with and the food was amazing. They have so many options to choose from to make your wedding food not your typical wedding food. We got so many compliments on the food at our wedding. And they are very reasonable in price - we loved everything about them. -

I worked with MBP Catering for my wedding two weeks ago, and they were the most professional, organized and kind team to work with! I got non-stop compliments on the food all night, people loved all of the cocktail hour and buffet options! Christina and her team finished doing all my decorating and made my vision come to life, they executed flawlessly on time and stayed to help cleanup at the end of the night! It was a blessing getting to work with such an organized team like Christina's as I had issues with my venue and they helped to rectify many of them. I couldn't recommend them anymore, honestly!! You won't be disappointed! -

My husband and I are so lucky to have worked with the staff at MBP!! From the beginning, they were great and easy to communicate with and were excited to begin working together on our wedding. Our tasting went so smoothly, and the food was absolutely delicious! During the course of wedding planning, the staff member that we were previously working with left the company, and we were placed with a new staff member, Brandy. Brandy was great to work with and made the transition for us seamless. She had all of our information about the wedding from the previous employee, and it was like they didn't skip a beat! The wedding food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments throughout the night! Would recommend this company 1000 times over! -

I met Mary Beth Poe a bit later in the planning process for my clients. We were roughly a month and half out from the date. MBP Catering stepped right in and helped get our passed hors de oeuvres cocktail reception organized effortlessly. We were at a non-traditional venue, but that didn't present any challenges for MBP. The staff was on time, the food was incredible, and the team was very polite and professional. It's not a matter of if or when...I plan to work with MBP Catering again! -

User1157030 Sent on 05/08/2013MBP was a great caterer. I am the groom, so I'll take you through my experience from first contact. I went into their shop and I didn't know what to expect. Then they started to bring in food and I was impressed. And before long, I was full. They brought samples of everything, but not just mini-samples, they brought the real deal--exactly what you'd expect to get at the wedding. Full portions at the tasting. I liked that. And the portions were BIG.
And so even after we decided to go with them and picked out our food, I was excited, but I kind of expected that the quality and portion size at the wedding wouldn't quite measure up to what we saw at the tasting when they were, presumably, trying to win our business. But I was wrong. At the wedding, the portions were big, the food was awesome, and everyone--even our pickier guests--were pleased. Some people, whose opinions I trust, made a point to say that their steak was the best they had ever had. That's not something you expect at a wedding--that's pretty amazing.
I also have to say that the staff was amazing at the event. Our planner who we had worked with was there throughout and she communicated with us so well, I couldn't have been happier.

Melissa Sent on 10/16/2011MBP was awesome! The food was excellent, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and they made our event wonderful for everyone.
Our event coordinator, Caroline, was fantastic as well. She really helped me work through any issues or changes we needed to make up through the big day, and she tracked down our missing dessert from the bakery on the day of the wedding. She was flexible, and helped make the setup I wanted at my venue possible. I wanted the ceremony and reception both in the same room. The venue told me I'd need to have everyone seated at their dinner tables for the ceremony if I wanted this - that is not at ALL what I wanted. Caroline set it up so that we could have everyone seated in a more traditional ceremony setup, and then the MBP staff could flip the room during cocktail hour. It worked beautifully!
I would definitely recommend MBP! -

Very professional, great food, and reasonably priced for their services. Our contact made arrangements to provide Skyline brand chili for late night snacks - a must have for my wife's Cincinnati relatives! -

I arranged my wedding long-distance, so my parents went to the tasting. Apparently, everything on the menu was delicious. Some of the choices were somewhat expensive, especially when an extra $5 a plate is multiplied by 100 guests.
The food at the wedding was delicious. I don't even like salad and I was blown away by the greens. The potatoes were a bit heavily spiced in my opinion, but they went well with the roast beef. The arrangement of the buffet was somewhat awkward, but that says more about the venue I picked than the caterers. We had pie (baked by a friend of the family) instead of cake, and the caterers did an amazing job arranging them in an absolutely stunning way. Our party favors were cookies made by my mother, and they incorporated them seamlessly into the table settings.
My biggest complaint was with the staff and my communications with them during the wedding. They said the food was ready, but when the bridal party went into the room with the buffet, there was no one to be seen and no plates. When we finally located the caterers we were informed that what they'd ~meant~ was that they'd be hand-serving salad shortly. Later, we told them to be prepared because we were about to cut the pie and they said they were ready. The cutting itself went smoothly, but when we were finished there were no caterers to be found anywhere! The serving pies were uncut and we were left standing awkwardly in front of a hundred guests looking at the pie like starving piranhas. The fathers had to step in and start serving people before they started a riot (I'm only slightly exaggerating). Eventually, the caterers returned and the point person did apologize. I didn't make a fuss at the time because it was too late to change what had happened and I didn't want drama to tarnish my wedding day.

Casie Sent on 10/10/2013I first began working with MBP & the person assigned to us (Lisa) was let go, I was not informed of this but had already signed a contract with the company--the owner Mary took our wedding reception over, shes very nice but very blunt in her suggestions and what she thinks is neccessary, I finally had to put my foot down as she was adding charges to our night that were not needed/asked for. Overall the company did a great job with the food and service, but I wish I would of had more options to choose from in catering as our venue only allow MBP or another company that was even more expensive which is why we chose MBP.
