Thanks to Carole and the entire staff at the Maryland Yacht Club for making our wedding a dream come true! From the beautiful views, to the food and beautifully dressed club house, not one thing was overlooked. Every detail was perfect and Carole was amazing to work with. Carole and her staff made our wedding day magical and memorable and I truly thank them for all their hard work!
I sincerely recommend this venue for all brides and grooms to be who are planning their wedding. If you want a romantic venue, with beautifully painted skies, and gorgeous views, this is the place!

The moment we saw the MYC we knew this was where we wanted to get married, then we met Carole, the coordinator, she sealed the deal! Not only does it sit beautifully on the water, it has a quiet soft way about it. Ten when you go inside, the yacht club is just the right size where you feel like you really get to enjoy our guests and yourself. It's got a great layout, an awesome length bar, which to me is important so your guests aren't fighting for space while trying to get drinks, a cozy fireplace with lounging area for those who don't want to dance but still are a part of the party, and two outdoor patios. The food is outstanding, the service is great and the price for it all is awesome! Carole is such a huge asset to have as a bride, i can't believe all that she does to keep organized and set up. Her help and services alone are priceless. This place is a gem!

We had a perfect wedding thanks to this venue. Carole was more than fantastic! She always made me feel like we were her number one. She is on top of it and so warm-hearted. Such a kind person, so wanting for your special day to be perfect. Also- the food- AWESOME!!! All of my guests commented on how delicious the food was. Carole was more than accommodating throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding (although it was VERY rainy) she was so calm, happy and gave us the wedding of our dreams. Thank you Carole. We had the time of our lives :-)

I had really wanted to get married by the water, but couldn't find anywhere that was nice and reasonably priced. As soon as I saw the Maryland Yacht Club I knew that I wanted to have our wedding there and once I saw that packages that they offered, I knew that it was workable. It is beautiful inside and out. We were married out by the water and had the reception inside. The views are gorgeous! Carol is so kind and was extremely helpful! She was always available to answer our questions and had so many great suggestions. I never felt like our wedding was a big sale that she was trying to land like some of the other venues we had visited. Carol really just cared that we had a great wedding. And we did have a GREAT wedding! Everything was perfect and the food was delicious! My only complaint would be that it got quite hot during the reception, but it was July and a lot of people were up and dancing. Carol did assure me that the air was running full blast. I would HIGHLY recommend the Maryland Yacht Club to brides. It is an amazing place.!

Carole Suser and the staff at the Maryland Yacht Club provided outstanding service and made the day of the event very relaxing and enjoyable. During the time of the wedding planning to the actual event, Carole kept in touch to find out if the original plans were still okay or if any changes were going to be needed. From menu selection to interior and exterior decoration and event setup, the staff was very accommodating.
Correspondence via e-mail or telephone was timely and very adequate. The timeframe established for the event preparation was very reasonable and worked out extremely well.
The Maryland Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. From their location and service provided, friendly and professional staff and cost, without a doubt a very good choice.

My bride and I had a fantastic experience with Carole Suser, the manager of the Maryland Yacht Club. We ended up meeting with Carole on about five or six different occasions before the wedding day, including sitting down with both sets of parents. She was very quick to respond to each of our phone calls or emails, even on days when she wasn't in the office. Carole was tremendously flexible with us even up to a few days before the event, including adding a menu item and making a few last-minute changes to the seating chart. Throughout the entire process, her warm smile made us feel like we were working with a family friend as opposed to a wedding vendor.

Not only was Carole fantastic, but the Yacht Club itself is wonderful. Seated between two bodies of water, the club's wide windows provide for gorgeous picturesque views which were an incredible value for the price to rent the room. To top that off, a waterside gazebo served as a great setting to take bridal party and wedding couple photos. The Club more than adequately accommodated our 140 guests, with plenty of room to spare. While it is a yacht club, it had much more of a casual, fun feel to the ambiance than the uppity, pretentious air sometimes associated with such establishments. The large dance floor ensured that our guests enjoyed every moment of the festivities.

While some places with such a great setting would skimp on the food, this was not the case at Maryland Yacht Club. Our selection of four appetizers, three buffet-style entrees and three sides were all expertly prepared to perfection. We sat down with Carole three months before the event to ensure that each item was cooked to our tastes, but no corrections were needed because the flavors blew us away. We would highly, highly recommend the crab cakes; some of the best in the state!

MYC is a great location and the staff is amazing. Carole is a dream to work with and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a water location at reasonable pricing...

Our wedding ceremony was originally suppose to take place outside, but due to rain the location had to be changed at the last minute. The Event Manager (Carol) was able to adapt to the situation and the Ceremony set-up was absolutely beautiful. The food was great and we were able to have a wide variety of options for a buffet with the amount of money that we paid. Carol was also extremely helpful during the entire planning process when it came to linen selection, menu choices, fluctuating guests counts, and table set-up. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody getting married in the area.....good pricing, great service, and a gorgeous view of the ocean!

Carole Suser was very nice and helpful, which was not always easy as we weren't the most conventional of couples. The ceremony and reception couldn't have gone smoother.

I do not know where to start this venue was beyond beautiful and is a hidden gem. My husband and I wanted a reception on the water but most places were out of our budget. The second I toured this venue I knew it was the one. The view is phenomenal! It is very reasonably priced, the food is excellent,

Carole the wedding coordinator is fabulous to work with and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. From day 1 Carole was efficient with getting back to emails and letting us know that she would like to help us in any way. I never felt like I was bothering her and she made me feel like my wedding was her top priority all the time even though I know she had many other events to attend to. She was flexible in times and dates for meetings as well as with our tasting. She went through all details with us from table setting, food to linens and chair covers. The best part is she took away all my stress and worry the week of the wedding. She offered to place all the centerpieces so we did not have to worry about having someone come in to do that. She made sure to take the names and numbers of all my vendors and assured me she would call all of them the day prior and review directions and answer any questions. I had a problem with the DJ and she sorted out all issues and made sure to let me know she would take care of it. She helped me make a timeline of how the reception should run. During the reception she greeted us immediately and made sure we all had drinks. She was on top of all the vendors making sure everything was ok. She was constantly walking around and checking on us and the guests. Carole went above and beyond in every way I cannot express how thankful I was to work with her she eased my mind.

The food was great everyone raved about how good it was.

The Venue is great for pictures especially the sunset ones! And if I had to do it over I would definitely get married at the site it would of been gorgeous.

Carole from the MD Yacht Club was so nice to work with. She is very helpful and down to earth as well as patient. She made me feel very comfortable. The food was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed our wedding.
