My husband and I are so glad that we got to work with Fabi ( Fabiola Camacho) to plan the wedding event for our niece recently.
Fabi was great in every aspect from being detail oriented, patient, responsive, flexible and provided us with needed suggestions to make sure all our events are planned perfectly and ran smoothly.

She worked with us every step of the way right from start to finish & was there on the day of event to ensure everything ran flawlessly! I highly recommend her!

Deborah and her team were very helpful throughout the entire reservation process. Her attention to detail, time and thoughtfulness were much appreciated by us and our guests. It was an enjoyable experience for all!

The service and readiness of our rooms was exceptional. It was a pleasure working with the staff. We did not have the wedding at this location, but we used 40 rooms here and everything was spot on.

We recently had a 300+ indian-american wedding with 3 events across two days. The team at Marriott Burr Ridge was amazing to work with. From drafting the contract, to accomodating our outside caterers, custom bar packages, decor needs, and day of execution, they were nothing shy of perfection. Faby, Lisa, and Michelle were amazing to work with coordinated with our planner and vendors to execute our vision. They were prompt at responding to our emails and needs and made sure every detail was addressed as requested. Highly recommend this venue and team for a wedding or pre wedding festivities

Where do I begin to review the absolute best vendor in the world? My husband and I looked at one place before the Marriott for our wedding, and the second we saw the Marriott and started speaking to the sales manager, we were sold. They were so accommodating from start to finish. Jill, Faby, and the entire team met and exceeded every single one of our expectations. The marriott @ burr ridge is not only an amazing location, our guests loved it, the rooms were nice and updated, affordable pricing, BEAUTIFUL and HUGE ballroom, great food, and I cannot think of one reason not to book here. If you want a stress-free wedding process at a place that you. your future spouse, and all of your guests are going to love, then look no further. I will never stop recommending the Marriott @ Burr Ridge for hosting a wedding. The absolute BEST vendor. THANK YOU MARRIOTT for making June 8 the best day of our lives!!!!!!

Our wedding at the Marriott in Burr Ridge was perfect! Faby, Jill and Lisa helped plan everything, they answered all of our questions, and they were very thorough to make sure everything was the way we pictured it. The food was AMAZING! We received so many compliments on the food- the filet mignon, the pan roasted chicken, the butternut squash ravioli; it was all delicious! We also did the dessert bar and a few late night snacks. We received compliments on all of that as well; everyone told us how delicious everything was! The staff was also amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The bartenders were great, too! I cannot recommend the Marriott at Burr Ridge enough! Another great thing about having your wedding at the Marriott at Burr Ridge is that it is a hotel, so no need for shuttles or anything like that. Everyone just stayed at the hotel! Also, everything surrounding the hotel was wonderful! If you are looking to give guests suggestions on things to do, there are many shops and restaurants right next door. The hotel is also surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are two bridges and greenery and a pond- perfect for wedding pictures! My husband and I took gorgeous photos at the Marriott on our wedding day! The Marriott's wedding package also included a cake with their contracted bakery, and it was wonderful! My husband and I are big dessert people, so the cake was very important to us. When we met with the bakery, we were able to try different flavors and see different decorations. We received the perfect cake! It was delicious and beautiful! Another thing listed in the Marriott at Burr Ridge's wedding package was some optional items included at no additional cost: votive candles for cocktail and reception tables, mirror bases for the reception tables, and different table numbers you could pick from. We loved that these items were included because it helped create the reception tables and make everything look beautiful with no extra cost! They are optional, so you do not have to use them, but we thought they were pretty and really added to the tables. The staff was so wonderful and truly took care of everything! We were so relaxed and simply enjoyed our wedding day knowing everything was taken care of! The Marriott at Burr Ridge is the perfect place to have a wedding!

I highly recommend Jill and her team at the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge! Not only do you get a beautiful, private wedding event space, but the venue comes with an outstanding team. Jill and her team were with us every step of the way. Jill and her team set up our tastings, venue walk throughs, and even let myself, my mom, and my now husband come to the Marriott the week of our wedding to drop off our decor, so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. Jill and her team listened to my vision for the venue and executed it perfectly. By the time my mom showed up to the Marriott on wedding day to start setting up the venue, Jill and her team had already almost finished decorating the entire event space! Jill and her team took all the stress of wedding day away, and allowed myself, my husband, and our families to enjoy every minute. The food and service were fantastic, and the event space was extremely clean. Our guests could not stop saying that our wedding was the best wedding they've attended in years! If you are looking for a wedding venue and team that will go the extra mile to make your wedding day memorable, look no further than the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge.

We loved absolutely everything about having our wedding at the Marriott. The second we walked into our initial venue tour, we felt so welcomed and cared for, which had us leaving knowing this was going to be our venue. We worked with Ella, Victoria, and Faby in all different capacities and they were all so wonderful and always going above and beyond for us. Everyone was so kind and professional. Our questions were always answered so quickly, and they were always so accomodating with requests big and small, especially the last minute ones. All of the day of staff were incredible too, and the food was to die for. I can't say enough good things about our experience, and I hope to return as a wedding guest one day. My son got married here in October, and the dinner rehearsal took place at the same venue the night before. Everything about the venue was flawless, and the staff went above and beyond. I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend them! They didn't just take care of the bride and groom, but also ensured the entire bridal party, parents and guests had a fantastic experience
I want to give a special shout out to Jill and Katrina. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and their suggestions reflected their extensive experience in wedding planning. Their guidance made it evident they knew the ins and outs of wedding planning. We hosted the dinner rehearsal and they took away all the stress from that planning process. Since stress-free isn't typically something you associate with wedding planning, that was much appreciated.

I don't think there is enough room on this sheet for me to express the amazing wedding that I had at the Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge. From the very first meeting at the hotel to days AFTER my wedding, everything was spot on. From Jill to Victoria and all servers at the wedding, I can't express enough how thankful I am that you made my day PERFECT. Everything was just so easy on me. The emails flowed without me waiting on answers and the line of communication was really important to me and they killed it. From the landscape to the lighting an even the temperature of the rooms, they made sure everything was what I wanted. The menu tasting was super special and so much fun. Chef even came in and made a totally different soup for us, talk about service. Victoria, the hotel wedding planner was AMAZING. She worked with my wedding planner and all my vendors on the wedding setup which was breathtaking. She stayed all night long and checked in personally with me throughout the entire night. I requested something, she made it happen. Jill, let me tell you, she is amazing too. She treated my mom and I with just grace a respect the entire time. She even reached out days after the wedding check in on me. She was professional and such a joy to work with. My wedding was the most magical night of my life, and I truly am so thankful I held it at the Marriott in Bur Ridge. Beautiful ballroom, beautiful rooms, beautiful outside for photos, just beautiful everything!! There isn't one thing I would ever change!! A million Thank Yous to everyone that played a part.

We looked at a few places for our wedding, and when we walked into the Marriott we both knew right away that this was THE place. We wanted to have the ceremony on site, which was perfect there. Being able to get ready, take pictures, have the ceremony there, then reception, to at the end of the night just walking up stairs, was just one of the perks of having your wedding there. Everyone at the Marriott was always so helpful and got back to us right away. Jill and the entire Marriott staff turned our dream wedding into the best day of our lives, and I wish I could relive it everyday. We got so many compliments on the food, and the details of the venue. I HIGHLY highly recommend having your big day here!

The Burr Ridge Marriott was wonderful to work with for our wedding room block and post wedding brunch. Faby and her team made the experience easy during what is a high stress time. The team was professional, accommodating to all of our requests, and everything was handled with class. Something we loved about the venue was their willingness to have the bar stay open late the evening of our wedding for a post party. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend the best!

We got married here 10.14.23. We have been nothing but blessed to have our wedding here. When searching for venues, we never felt the “right one”, until we walked in. The entire staff was attentive, professional, and beyond helpful. They made our day our dream come true. The venue space is absolutely breath taking from the main ballroom, cocktail space, patio & hotel suites. We could not be happier!

Our wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott was pretty much perfect; so we wanted to write this review to help other couples experience what we did and as a way of saying thank you to the Marriott staff, who were amazing.

Things we loved about the Burr Ridge Marriott:
• One convenient – and beautiful - location. Easy to get to right off of I-55, we were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony under a willow tree on the property (more on that later), an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour on their awesome stone patio and the reception in the ballroom, and since it’s a hotel we didn’t need to arrange any transportation.
• The food was excellent. We went with the grilled striploin, pecan crusted chicken, and an eggplant dish for our vegetarian option, but everything we tried during our tasting was incredible and would’ve been a good choice. One of the reasons we wanted a location in the suburbs rather than the city was that we didn’t want to have to worry about catering, and their kitchen did an amazing job.
• Higher-end, but still affordable. We thought the Burr Ridge Marriott had the best outdoor area of anywhere we saw, at a price we could afford, and we also thought that the food and alcohol packages they offered were the best value for the money, like the 5 hour open bar.
• Amazing, dedicated staff. Honestly, the best part of the Burr Ridge Marriott location was the way they took care of us from the moment we came to visit, especially Ella. They started going above and beyond for us at the very beginning. When we first saw the location, we thought it checked almost all our boxes, but were worried that the outdoor location on the patio might be a little narrow for our guests during the ceremony. Ella suggested that we have the ceremony elsewhere on the grounds, and found us a beautiful location under the willow tree to hold our ceremony – a location they’d considered, but never offered before. This is typical of the way we were treated throughout the planning and the wedding itself. The staff did so many wonderful things to make our day perfect, too many to list in a short review, so I’ll just say that you could tell they truly cared about how our day went and that made all the difference. We couldn’t be happier with how things turned out, and we didn’t even have a wedding planner.

Things you might want to be aware of:
• If you’re having an outdoor ceremony, you might want to order extra chairs.
• The area under the willow tree does have a lot of goose poop. The Marriott cleaned it up before our ceremony so it wasn’t a problem for us.
• We had the bridal party exit from the stairwell for the ceremony, which is the only way to get there through the building. The walk outside is short, but some guests found it confusing.

I can’t recommend the Burr Ridge Marriott highly enough, and hope this review helps another couple have the wonderful experience we did. If possible I’ll update with pictures once we get them back from our photographer.

This review is so long overdue! We had our wedding at the Marriott Burr Ridge last November, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The wedding coordinator, Ella Sparks and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our special day truly unforgettable. From the meticulous planning to the seamless execution, every detail was flawlessly taken care of. Ella’s expertise and dedication ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the moment. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, making our guests feel welcomed and cherished. The venue is beautiful, the food was so delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team for turning our dream wedding into a reality. We highly recommend this hotel and its exceptional staff to anyone looking to create lasting memories on their big day!

The people working at this hotel went out of their way to make for a wonderful experience. We had rehearsal dinner, reception and breakfast the next day. Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they have attended. Ella Sparks, helped us plan everything. The patio was able to accommodate large cocktail party and breakfast. The hotel is close to the highways,shops and restaurants are in walking distance.

So grateful for Ella, Jill and the entire team at Marriott Burr Ridge for their extraordinary service and hospitality for our wedding 1/21/23. The food was incredible, like a work of art on the plates, so classy, and our families are still talking about the flame grilled steaks too! The hotel grounds are beautiful, the inside will knock your socks off, recently renovated, very classy modern feel, great hotel bar and restaurant area, made it so easy to visit with family staying at the hotel. The rooms are so nice, new, super clean, modern decor, and the beds feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud! The Marriott Burr Ridge was so easy to work with, total professionals, and wonderful people. They took great care of our vendors and worked as a team to make all the magic come to life, simply incredible. If we had to do it all over again, we’d choose the Marriott Burr Ridge again and again, hands down. Simply the best!! The best service, the best food, and the best hospitality from all staff in every dept. We love you Marriott Burr Ridge!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Despite the hectic planning before my MBA program and admist several covid scares, the team made our wedding amazing!! The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The bartender made amazing drinks and people rarely had to wait. Ella is so kind, organized, and answered all emails in a timely manner. She honestly became my fairy godmother through the whole process and became a part of our family. I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Chicagoland area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!!

We had our wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott, in November, and I cannot say enough great things about the venue as well as the staff. Ella & Jill made the entire experience so easy for us and were so accomodating from start to finish. They really made us feel heard and were so detail oriented. I knew we were in great hands and I didn't stress about a single thing! The food was OUTSTANDING. All of our guests still have been talking about it. The hotel itself was very well kept and updated which was nice! It made for some really great photo opportunities. Not to mention how beautiful the grounds are too. If you're looking to have a hotel wedding, I cannot recommend the Burr Ridge Marriott enough! They made all of our wedding dreams come true!

My wife and I booked Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge as our wedding reception venue this past September. From the beginning, the staff at the Marriott was very accommodating and provided great service. We worked specifically with catering sales manager, Ella Sparks. Ella was honestly a God sent. Both my wife and I live in Texas and have been since the beginning of our wedding planning process. Ella was so accommodating with schedules and communication when we weren't always able to be physically present for meetings and walkthroughs. She was quick to answer our questions and communicated exceptionally with our day of coordinator as well. Our wedding reception came out even better than we could have imagined. We can't thank Ella and the Marriott team enough for the amazing dinner set up, accommodation, and service.

Nothing short of perfect! The accommodations, the staff, and the food were all better than we could have imagined. The presidential suite was beautiful and spacious for the bridal party to get ready. The scenery on the back patio was ideal for our first look pictures, which came out amazing! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I'm a planner in Chicago and one of our client's booked the Marriott Southwest Burr Ridge for their wedding venue. This was a new venue to me but the whole process was seamless with the help of Ella, Jill, and their team. They made it so easy and stress free!! From catering and decor to the room block for guests, they provided all the resources we needed to make this event successful. Every single question and request was handled in a timely manner and with positive attitudes. They were such a joy to work with and I would highly recommend hosting your event with them!

I recently got married at the Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge and it was the best decision I made for my wedding. Ella, Jill, chef Daniel, and the entire staff were fantastic. As someone who is in the wedding industry, I have seen many great venues and others not so great, and the Marriott tops the list. From the beginning of the planning process, everyone I worked with was extremely quick to respond, was proactive with the information they needed, and are just the nicest people. Both Ella and Jill knew how much I wanted to get married outside and unfortunately when the day came the weather didn't cooperate. They created a backup option that was better than the original and everything went flawlessly. My maid of honor saw my detailed timeline, and she said everything was going according to plan to the minute. As a very type-A person, it was hard for me to let go of some of the planning processes, but I am sure glad I did because Ella and the team did better than I could have imagined. Ella is the sweetest and is fantastic at her job. The food was great and portions were huge. Chef Daniel checked in with my husband and I multiple times throughout the night to ensure everything met our expectations. It was the best customer service from a venue I have ever seen. I will be recommending the Marriott to everyone I know moving forward.

Planning a wedding during COVID is extremely stressful. However, the Chicago Marriott Southwesst at Burr Ridge made it easy. After 16 months of planning, we were ready to have our dream wedding on January 8th with 300+ guests. However, COVID had other plans. Due to the significant uprise in COVID cases and guests who reached out cancelling due to COVID, we had made the decision about 2-3 weeks prior to the date to post-pone our wedding. I was devastated. However, the Marriott and all their wonderful staff did not let me down. They immediately helped with changing our date and postponing our large wedding to a few months later. Any questions/concerns/thoughts we had were always answered promptly and they were so accommodating and helpful from the very beginning. With that being said, here we are on May 23rd, the weekend after my fairy tale wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning, the food could not have been better, the staff is beyond kind, friendly, and helpful, and I honestly have not a single bad thing to say about this venue. Trust me when I say, you will want to be hosting your wedding or event at this location!

We had to scramble to downsize our wedding due to the pandemic, and needed to find a new venue. Jill and her team at the Marriott went completely above and beyond at every single step. From answering my million emails during the 3 week planning process, to upgrading our table linens and hotel room, to making sure that we had a wedding cake! We were completely blown away by the thousand extra things they did to make sure that our wedding day was perfect and memorable. The food was fantastic- everyone agreed that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We cannot thank everyone enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

I had my wedding reception at the Burr Ridge Marriott on May 11, 2019. Kelly Schmitz was our wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job. She was so kind and such a pleasure to work with. The tasting was beautiful and the food delicious, better than I’d hoped for. They coordinated with our cake provider perfectly. Kelly helped so much on the day of, and gave some extra surprises that made the day that much more special. Marriott Burr Ridge was the perfect backdrop for our daughters wedding! The spacious lobby and ballroom allowed for beautiful decor and service for our 500 guest Indian reception. Kelly went above and beyond to ensure all aspects of the evening went seamless and the service staff was super professional and helpful-don’t hesitate to book this gem of a spot!

My experience at the Mariott could not have been better. The wedding coordinator, Kelly, helped me with any and all of my wedding needs. She was with me throughout the whole process and always put my mind at ease. One thing that stood out to me was the organization and hard work put forth. Kelly and her team at the Mariott made me feel like I was their number one priority. My wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t imagine it being at any other location.

Amazing to work with!! Kelly was so helpful and made everything about the planning and the day of stress free!! Debra helped with the guest rooms and was very flexible and understanding, especially since we had many out of town guests. Kelly, Jackie and Todd helped in making my wedding day wonderful and I was able to enjoy every moment of it. I can't thank them enough!!

Having our wedding reception at the Marriott in Burr Ridge was great. Erica was incredible to work with—she was very responsive to all the questions I had during planning and she was there on the wedding day to make sure everything went well for the reception. What I loved about this space is that you’re the only wedding that takes place at this location and they have a beautiful patio area that can be used for the cocktail hour (weather permitting). It was gorgeous weather on our wedding day so guests were able to enjoy the patio for the cocktail hour. We were also able to book several conference rooms to do hair/makeup and other wedding events. The food and drinks were delicious (both at the reception and at the food tasting which was so much fun). I loved that catering was in house, it made everything so much less stressful! The service at this Marriott is great—everyone was very friendly and helpful, and they were fine with us staying late as we knew our wedding would run long into the night. Thanks to everyone at the Burr Ridge Marriott, everyone had a blast!

The Marriott did an absolutely fabulous job with our wedding! We met and started planning our day with Erica about a year in advance. We loved that we had so many options (colored linens, flexibility to use outside caterers, being able to provide our own décor) but so much help at the same time. I can’t emphasize enough how special Erica is and what a fabulous job she did orchestrating our wedding day. We had a pre-wedding event, and had TWO weddings in the same day (two ceremonies with brunch, cocktail hour, and reception) and she didn’t bat an eye. From the moment the weekend began, the entire staff was on their toes, insanely polite and courteous, and prepared for virtually anything!
We also really enjoyed the new renovation that finished just before our wedding. The neutral and gold tones went so well with our bright colors! And the rooms were well-decorated and comfy.
Finally, the prices offered were very affordable, especially for the scale of our wedding, we spent so much less than we would have at other venues in the area and I am confident our experience could not be matched elsewhere.

Booking our wedding at the Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge was a great decision because we had the BEST wedding day! Mary Ann was so incredible to work with; she connected with all of my outside vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page, she followed up with me on every little detail, and executed everything to perfection. From the small things like the signature drink frames at cocktail hour, to the larger details like the table linens, Mary Ann ensured that my vision was carried through. We had our ceremony and reception on site, and my (new) husband and I both enjoyed that it was such a stress-free and seamless day. We did all of our pictures on the property too (so many awesome photo opportunities!) and even had our own spaces to dress and get ready. The customer service at the Marriott is amazing; the staff was so accommodating and friendly, and everyone really worked hard to ensure we had the best day possible. Our guests loved the food (as did we!) and the cocktails were expertly made. Late night snack and sweets table were both a hit, and we kept hearing over and over how wonderful the evening was. Thank you SO MUCH to Mary Ann and the Marriott staff for helping us to have such a beautiful wedding!

We have reserved and put down our deposit to have our ceremony and receptions at this gorgeous facility. We LOVE working with Mary Ann and are thrilled that she will be guiding us through our special day. She is amazing; responsive (even at 7:30pm on a Saturday), follows through completely, warm and a wealth of information. We look forward to working closely with her the next 6 months!

My Husband and I hosted our wedding at the Marriott Chicago Southwest. Brad at this Marriott is amazing to work with and helped go above and beyond to make our wedding day special. Every request we had was granted and then some and he was so great to work with. Even though this is a large facility with events every weekend, Brad never took more than 24 hours to return an email or phone call, which is so nice to ease a Bride's worries. The best part-you are the ONLY event in the place. You never have to worry about sharing your space with other families or parties and the space is gorgeous. The area is convenient and all the guests raved about the food and the accommodations, which we enjoyed as well.
I don't think we could have had such an amazing wedding day without Brad and his team taking care of every detail we could have imagined. When my now husband and I walked into the room before our guests I was in awe of what a great job they did setting up the ballroom.

I had my wedding at the Southwest Chicago Marriott in Burr Ridge and it was just a great success! The staff was so friendly and helpful, as well as our catering manager, Hemant Malhotra! Any stress of ours was taken care of immediately and we were catered to in a polite and royal manner. Overall, my experience with the Marriott was nothing but amazing! I would definitely do my next event here!

The Chicago Marriott Southwest was amazing! Not only did they provide a lot of the small things that we didn't have time for (chair covers, floor length linens, cake, etc.), they were beyond responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. I loved working with their sales staff and enjoyed every minute of my reception. The timing of the reception went off without a hitch thanks to their trained staff. There were even some minor mishaps that I, the bride, didn't even know about because they were handled so well. There is no way that I would have been so calm leading up to the big day without knowing that the Marriott sales staff was in contact with all of my vendors (florist, lighting, sweet table, band, etc.) behind the scenes!

Working with the lovely people of Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge was an absolute dream for my wedding reception. They took care of every detail, and were just such a pleasure with which to work. Communication was their strong suit, and patience as we had questions and concerns. As a bride, I felt special and "heard," and they extended that grace to my parents and husband's family as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for hosting a wedding and/or private event!

I am so happy that I chose this venue. The ballroom was large and was able to accommodate my guests without feeling over crowded. The service and food were great. The staff was very nice and attentive during the reception.

Alan and Hemant were available to meet and discuss all my concerns up till the day of the wedding. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was spectacular!

Even before my event took place, people would ask me where the wedding was going to be. When I replied Marriott in Burr Ridge, IL , people would immediately light up and say "I was at a wedding there before and it was beautiful and went so well. The service and food was excellent!". This made me really excited and confident about my choice of venue. They lived up to every expectation. The convenience of having the ceremony, reception and hotel rooms all in the same place was better than I could imagine for us and for my guest. Everything ran smoothly and allowed me,the bride, to enjoy myself instead of worrying about the sequence of events. Hemant, my main contact, was amazing! He was very knowledgable and even went out of his was to help me. Any email or call was quickly returned with every request made. I highly recommend Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge!

Ours was a 50th anniversary party. It was a pleasure to work with people who listened our vision of what we wanted our party to be. As the plans progressed, it was exciting to see it all come together. The day of the event was wonderful. The Marriott at Burr Ridge did much to make it memorable. For example, the catering manager arranged the place cards on a round table in a spokewheel pattern. iIt looked beautiful, and many guests commented on it. This is only one example of the staff's attention to detail. Our night was spectacular, and our guests ae still commenting so positively on the food, decor and service. We were so pleased at the way everything turned out.

The team at Marriott Burr Ridge is nothing but outstanding. Everyone exceeds your expectations, from the front desk to the bellman, in the sales department and the banquet staff. This team of hospitality professionals is well trained, seasoned in their abilities, professional and overly accomodating. They make everyone feel like a VIP whether you're hosting an event or just staying the night.

My husband I planned our wedding in a relatively short time. We booked in early April and were married in right before Christmas on the 12.21.12. We had our ceremony at the Marriott with reception immediately to follow. All our pictures were taken before and once we walked down that isle as HUSBAND & WIFE our primary concern was to walk right into a celebration. Which is exactly what we did! The entire staff at the Marriott was committed to making sure we had anything and everything we wanted. From the biggest details to the smallest I could not have asked for a better partner to pull off the party we did. Oh did I mention it was an End of the World theme? Our reception lasted until 12:15 when those of us that were still going headed to the bar. The staff indulged us keeping the bar open and security was entertained I think. We are a spirited group to say the least!
The service was excellent, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was perfect. Alan and Hemant were flexible with our work schedules to fit in meetings and tasting that worked for all of us. They embraced all of our crazy ideas and offered helpful suggestions to make our ideas even better.
I cannot recommend the Marriott enough. This is the venue can be transformed into just about anything however doesn’t need to be. The best part of your wedding will be the atmosphere you create with food, drinks, service, friends and family. Don’t worry about the rest of it. I promise you no one will remember what the carpet, wall, centerpieces or program looked like!

Thanks to the excellent staff at the Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge, our children had a fabulous wedding! The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs, dinner was delicious and the service was exceptional. As the wedding was New Years Eve, we had a lot of rooms reserved and the front desk staff was very helpful.
Our friends and family in attendance are still raving about the reception.

The Marriott Chicago Southwest was the perfect setting for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. Hemant was an excellent event manager. Every phone call and email was answered promptly, and he thought of things to coordinate that did not even occur to us. Alan was very helpful in arranging for rooms for all of our out of town guests, which was about half of the 350 attendees. The setting was beautiful, and the service was impeccable. We had many complements on the food and friendliness of all staff members. We highly recommend the Marriott Southwest!

Wonderful experience everything is exactly what you want! Your wedding is the only event, the extras that are included make your wedding classy. All of our guest loved how the ballroom and lobby looked with the table linens, the food was excellent, our guest were surprised with the signature drink and the champagne toast, and everything ran smoothly on a schedule from cocktail hour to the last dance. Another perk is that you can drop off all your decorations prior to the event and with a note of where to place things the staff has it all set up so one less thing to worry sbout

There were a few hotels to choose from near the venue of my wedding, and I'm so happy I went with the Marriott. They provided me with an extensive room block even though there was another wedding on that same weekend, and also were incredibly helpful in providing space for a wedding rehearsal, as well as space and catering for a post-wedding brunch the Sunday following our wedding. The food at the brunch was delicious and served our guests well prior to their departure. Everyone I worked with was incredibly professional, quick to respond, and helpful in getting everything organized for my wedding weekend! I would highly recommend the Marriott for anyone getting married in the area!

Fabiola and Lisa were instrumental setting up for our wedding! They were flexible in helping us with the layout. They provided a lot of helpful recommendations and details to our wedding, and were very prepared on our big day. We were so pleased with how our wedding turned out and could not have done this without them!

Fabby and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They handed out our gift bags perfect let me come in early to drop them off and even helped me find guests who booked outside my block. She kept the bar open late for an after party and sent champagne and chocolates to our room on our wedding night. It was absolutely perfect they even gave us an early check in so we could get settled before our rehearsal dinner. My only recommendation is to look into providing transportation to venues.

Kelly was wonderful to work with while planning my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. She was personable, responsive, and knowledgeable. Kelly not only handled all the details, questions, and concerns with great efficiency, she also added fun to the wedding planning process. The event was perfect, and we appreciate all Kelly did behind the scenes to make it that way.

We are hosting our wedding here in 2016 and Mary Ann has already been amazing. She has been very accomodating while going through the contract process and willing to work with our budget. Great location we are excited to move forward and will write a review post wedding!

Wow..What a venue to have a wedding. We had our ceremony and reception at the Chicago Southwest Marriott on May 11, 2013. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out we were treated like royalty. Hemant the sales manager was the best. His staff Dean, Barbara, Rachel and James (the bartender) had met all are needs and everything under control. Which made us enjoy the night even more. We worked with the Marriott team, Cortney and Erika, for our wedding block and brunch the morning following our wedding. Both were responsive, efficient, and easy to work with, which is definitely something that I can't say about others that we reached out to. We requested 40-50 rooms, which I know isn't a lot, but they made us feel that our business was valued and important. The only reason that I gave the value 4 stars is because the brunch was really expensive. However, it was well staffed and delicious. Overall, our guests were very happy with the hotel, the food and their stay. Thanks to Erika and Cortney!

My wedding was 5/4/13 at this venue. Working with Hemant from the beginning was such a treat. He was so kind and knowledgeable about weddings and the long process that precedes the big day. He was very organized, and gave us good advice on vendors, and how to set things up. He was very reasonable when it came to pricing because half of my wedding guests didn't drink. He was always available by phone or email and would get back to you in a matter of minutes. When it came to taste testing and linens, I changed my mind plenty and he did not have any problems with that. he encouraged me to come back in and look through the books of fabric to get the perfect look for my wedding. On the day of, everything was executed perfectly. It was truly wonderful seeing how all my ideas transformed to real life. The food was good, not great but I haven't been to a wedding were the food was great! the hors d oeuvres were really good and tasty and our wait staff was amazing. Barb served the sweetheart table and she really was awesome! She brought us whatever we needed. I would highly recommend the Marriott at Burr Ridge to have your wedding because they truly cater to your needs and make you feel very special.

We had my reception at the Marriott in Burr Ridge and it was PERFECT! Working/planning with Hemant was GREAT! He was very easy to get in touch with and was so accomidating to every request we had; no matter how late into the game our request may have came in he made it happen. When we walked into our reception room during cocktail hour to see how everything was put together it brought me to tears, it was even more beautiful than what I had imagined.
Not only was Hemant great to work with but on the week/weekend of the wedding the entire hotel staff was WONDERFUL! Everyone was so nice and very accomidating to every request as well. Dean, was the Banquet Captain the night of our wedding and he was fabulous as well, very kind and great to work with!
All my guest still talk about how great the food and service was. Being the only event that was happening at the hotel that night was a BIG selling point for us and it definatly makes a difference! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for everyone's wedding!

We had our Hindu/Catholic wedding weekend here the summer of 2018. We had a pre-wedding event (Garba) with about 250 guests on Friday and our wedding and reception 370 guests on Saturday with - all at the Marriott.
When we first came to tour the hotel, we had no idea what to expect - the hotel is kind of hidden and neither of us even knew there was a Marriott in Burr Ridge. But when we arrived in summer 2017 we were pleasantly surprised with the modern renovation that had recently been completed in the entire hotel. We met with Erica who was fantastic, very accommodating, and was super easy to talk to. She listened to our vision and made a custom package for our unconventional weekend that worked within our budget.
The hotel had everything we wanted - one ballroom so we were the focus of the staff, a great outdoor patio, and some beautiful ponds and trails right behind the hotel to take pictures. We were really looking for a venue that had everything in one location and where we felt like the priority. We went to a lot of venues that had multiple ballrooms which felt much too hectic.
Erica went on maternity leave the three months leading up to our wedding and Jill was our event coordinator. Both were great - easy to work with and very responsive to all our questions - Jill even gave me her cell phone number. It ended up that Erica was back for our event weekend which was nice!
Overall our experience at the hotel was fantastic. The event staff was all amazing and we had such a memorable, perfect weekend. Jill and Erica checked in with us frequently during the events to make sure everything was the way we wanted. The hotel is beautiful, and we were so happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend the Marriott Burr Ridge!

Brad, who was our event planner at the hotel, was great! If we asked for something to be done a certain way, he did it.

The venue was wonderfully kept and the staff was wonderful. We had to change up the setting of one of the events because of the weather and the event staff quickly made it happen. Everything looked wonderful and we have received a lot of compliments on the way everything went and looked

We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding at the Burr Ridge Marriott! The staff was excellent and really listened to our ideas to help make our wedding dreams come true. I was a Bride that wanted to personalize and make sure every detail was thought of. The team worked with me to incorporate my thoughts and took accurate notes of all the details. They also got me an AMAZING deal on pipe and drape that was absolutely stunning. We were pleased with the food and our guests were very complimentary of the wait staff's service. Our day went perfect and we were so thrilled and thank them for everything!

I highly recommend Karrie Peters and the Marriott staff! Chicago Marriott at Burr Ridge was extremely responsive to the needs and challenges of a wedding reception complicated by a large guest list (around 400) and geography. While the wedding & reception were held in Illinois, I was living in Ohio, and my husband-to-be was stationed in Texas. Karrie was very helpful in the long distance planning and the myriad of details.
They gave very individualized service. I chose rice as the starch for the meal, but since my husband loves mashed potatoes, they made his plate especially for him. They were able to serve a meat, vegetarian and kids entree to please the variety of my guests, and the vegetarian entree was one of the best Ive ever eaten.

I had my wedding reception here on July 6, 2012. I began working with Kathy and Hemant back in November 2011 and had such a great responsive from their willingness to work with us and all of our requests. I chose to have a Friday wedding because it was a holiday weekend and we were offered a special from the hotel. This was a huge help! The communication between Hemant and I was great. He responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered all my questions. I even brought my family and friends several times just to see the venue and we were given tours each time. We got to meet some of the wait staff during these visits and also during the taste testing. I think her name is Kathy- she was so sweet and helpful! The food was good, I think we chose a chicken and rice soup, salad, chicken dish with carrots and mashed potatoes? Can't quite remember, but it was good. We brought in our own candy bar and they were willing to let us do that. They helped by setting out the table and then my mother decorated and set it all up. This was a savings! I remember we were handed a big black binder with A TON!!! of linen samples to choose from- so many options! This was a bit overwhelming but nice to know the options are there. Just make sure you know which ones are included in your package. I fell in love with some and then realized they would be an additional cost, so I opted out of those and settled for other beautiful table linens. We were also given the Presidential Suite to stay on our wedding night and it was great! The morning of the wedding, Hemant allowed us to use the conference room for the bridal party to get ready in. They had the room available early in the morning for us to do hair and make-up in. Overall, I had a great experience. Our wedding turned out just as we wanted. Thank you to the Marriott Burr Ridge Events Team for helping put together a wonderful and memorable wedding for us!

Very helpful in planning. wedding night wasnt a disaster but it was close. very rude security personell. Front desk didnt even know we were having our wedding and didnt have rooms ready. The wedding planner was great, the hotel staff wasn't.
