We were so overwhelmed with photographer vendors and their pricing. What stood out about Mariea is that her packages offered more than any other vendor at almost the same rate. The fact that we got a second shooter AND a photo album made for us was a no brainer when we signed with her. She was so easy to work with on our wedding day. She is super professional and knows exactly what she is doing, especially at Saureel Vineyards! We cannot recommend her enough. -

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Maria. She did an exceptional job and displayed true professionalism throughout the entire process. From our engagement session up in Tahoe, to our wedding day in Elk Grove, she was extremely friendly, easy to work with, and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She even put up with the unfriendly September heat on the day of our wedding without a single complaint haha. The quality of her photos also exceeded all of our expectations—every moment was captured beautifully and with so much care. We are beyond thrilled with the results and highly recommend her or anyone on her team to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and personable photographer. Professional and fun!
Mariea and her husband Kurt were fantastic! Mariea is with you all the way from the first time you meet, to the engagement photos and your wedding day. They make you feel very comfortable in your own skin and they keep the atmosphere light and fun! Their work speaks for itself and does not disappoint! Above and Beyond our Expectations!
Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without Mariea and Kurt there to capture the moments throughout the day. The two of them were so sweet, professional, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos (all 1,000 of them) turned out beautiful. Their attention to the details, their enthusiasm, and positivity made them a joy to be around. We truly couldn't have picked a better duo. The turnaround time was impeccable. They are extremely timely and prompt, and it was greatly appreciated, especially around the holidays! Highly recommend and plan to work with them on future events and milestones. If you want quality photos and amazing people taking them, LOOK NO MORE!
Where to start? I've been following "Mariea Rummel Photography" on Instagram and Facebook for many years! Each time she posts photos, whether that be from weddings, family portraits, portraits, etc, she's capturing so much more in that one photo, pays so much attention to detail, and I'm always in awe. Mariea is transparent, punctual, friendly, always smiling (even when it's super hot), and ready to get work done! She and Kurt shot our wedding 7.18.21 in Roseville and I wouldn't have it any other way. The venue we chose didn't have many options (especially in summer) for places to take photos, but somehow, Mariea and Kurt made it work and the photos turned out amazing!
When we first met with Mariea, I had told her about a photo I would love to have. It's a photo from my sisters wedding day, she was kissing our mom who was beaming ear-to-ear. Unfortunately, my mom is no longer with us so we couldn't take the same photo, but I had thought about recreating it for 2 years, gifting one to my sister and keeping one for myself. Without hesitation, Mariea said "we'll make it work!" On my wedding day, we were able to recreate the photo, Mariea made the magic work, and upon returning from our honeymoon, we had a package on our doorstep with the finished product, the best surprise (photo attached)!
If there's any advise I can give, get yourself a photographer that cares, a photographer that makes your vision come to life. She sends a questionnaire with so much details you can provide, for what you'd like to see. She NAILED it!
The package we purchased came with a beautiful leather photo album, a classy flash drive in a case, and of course, the online photo gallery. We went to the studio, popped some champagne and watched our entire photo slideshow "oo-ing and awe-ing" the whole time. Note: If you make an additional purchase during that studio viewing session, it's discounted! So we purchased the heirloom box which was definitely the perfect addition to our home decor!
Overall, 5 stars for:
-keeping us on time
-capturing the best day ever with the best photos
-going above and beyond
-timely delivery on the online gallery, photo album, and heirloom box
-QUALITY
-and personality/compatibility for our crazy selves!

Mariea Rummel Photography is the absolute BEST! I honestly do not believe I would have made it through a Covid wedding without Mariea and her professional expertise! Not only did she answer every question/concern I had, she also provided amazing input to really help make our day run smoothly! Mariea and her husband go above and beyond when working with their couples! Mariea stuck with me through plans A-F and a venue change halfway through planning! Mariea was not only flexible in all my changes but offered sound advance for the entire wedding process! Mariea shot both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I have never felt more beautiful! She was able to capture not only stunning pictures but took the time to get to know us as individuals so our personalities really shine through! Even during a 104 heat wave!
Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to find ANY excuse to use Mariea and her services in the future!

Mariea is awesome and such a pleasure to work with! Our wedding was supposed to be last year but COVID happened and we had to postpone it to this year. Mariea is really accommodating and she did an amazing job with both our engagement and wedding photos. She even remembered my flower toss (which I totally forgot due to time) and stayed to make sure she got the photos. Her and her husband are the dream team! I knew that picking the right photographer was one of the most important aspects of planning your wedding - these photos will be seen for the rest of your life! As soon as we met Mariea we knew we loved her! But, when a family emergency (cancer) forced us to swerve and cancel our June 2019 wedding we found ourselves planning an immediate wedding in just a few weeks.
When I called Mariea to explain the situation, she and her husband didn’t miss a beat, they took our new date (now a Sunday) and promised to be there. Every detail of her work, timeline, planning was impeccable.
The day of our wedding was emotional but our goal was to still keep it happy and Mariea somehow captured exactly that with her pictures.
Months later, when Mariea found out the tragic end to our family emergency, Mariea sent me a beautiful locket with a picture of me and my Dad from my wedding day along with a beautiful note and I will cherish these gifts forever.
I cannot tell you enough how special this husband and wife duo is! They truly do become part of your story, and part of your family. -

Amazing Service
Mariea and kurt are amazing! They made sure they catch everything, all the most import shots but the most important to me was the things i didn't even know were going on! (father daughter moments, first dance, last dance, guest, special moments and everything in-between) They just get the process and what needs to be done! They make it such a stress free time! Which everyone knows isn't always the easiest. Would recommend to everyone! -

As the title states, Mariea is amazing and talented. She was initially a referral to us and we couldn't have been happier. For our destination Wedding, she and her husband traveled to Italy to capture our life moment. They are a great team and it shows in their craft. Since we were across the country, most of our communication was via email with the occasional phone conversation. We had our only meeting 3 days before the wedding. We would have an additional shooter besides Mariea herself. Then wedding day arrived. About 3 hours before she was scheduled to arrive, she called my planner. She was violently ill and headed to the hospital...and had arranged for another photographer to take her place. Soo...once I decided to calm down and accept what was out of everyone's control, I was fine with it. Then, surprise, surprise!! She shows up and kept the third shooter as well! Needless to say, I admire her tenacity and drive. She is a highly committed professional with tons of talent. Also, she had our photos completed much faster than I ever expected. We are absolutely astounded. Due to her eye, we can actually relive the emotions of the day. I didn't know that was possible. Thank you, Mariea, for all you have done for us! -
