Gorgeous photos

My husband and I tend to be goofy individuals. :) We needed someone who can take wonderful pictures in the moment and get us to feel comfortable with taking formal photos. Maria, did not disappointment! Maria caught every special moment of our wedding day. We got a ton of good laughs from our photos as well as the attempt to hold back our tears from reliving our special day. We were also super impressed with our portrait photos especially the ones over the outlook on mount washington. It was about to storm and she was able to get our crazy bridal group together. Those pictures came out more beautiful than we ever imagined and we got so many compliments from our loved ones.

We hired Maria based on reviews by other couples who said she was awesome at communicating and very organized. There's nothing more reassuring than having an organized photographer to tell you what to do and where to go on your wedding day, especially in a destination wedding setting! Maria even hired another photographer free of charge when she realized she would be quite pregnant for our wedding day. Both photographers worked well together, getting key shots and directing us where to stand and where to look. They missed a few things we wanted photos of, like the picture pendants on my bouquet of people not able to be at our wedding, but I also forgot to bring it up in the hustle and bustle of the day, so it's partially my fault, too. They handled our crazy families well for group portraits, and we got our pictures back in a very timely fashion. The albums offered are quite pricey, but they are designed nicely and we already got ours (less than two months after the wedding), which is MUCH faster than I thought it would be and we absolutely love it. Highly recommend Maria and company!

Maria is so awesome at what she does! I couldn't have dreamed of a better photographer and person to work with! Maria is just like me - extremely organized, detail oriented and honest. She is super knowledgeable and talented. She provided me with a ton of information, guided me through the planning process, worked with me to ensure that all of my requests, ideas and needs were met and was always professional and super nice! You'll have nothing to worry about with Maria as your photographer. She had every detail and photo of the day planned down to the minute, yet was extremely flexible and "in the moment"! She captured every part of our wedding day flawlessly and I am so thankful. My family and friends have not stopped raving about the photos. I know we clean up nice, but she really made us look like we could be in a magazine!!! I also couldn't believe how quickly she had the finished photos back to us - I swear it was within a few weeks! Maria Angela was great and I'm so happy we booked her for our wedding. She was extremely organized leading up to the wedding - making sure we had a detailed timeline and list of all the photos we wanted to make sure we captured. On the wedding day she was very efficient and professional when photographing, she even made up for our 30 min delay! Maria was absolutely amazing. Being that my husband and I live out of town, it was hard to pick a photographer without being able to meet with them in person. The second we began communicating with Maria, we knew she was the right photographer for us. She is unbelievably professional, detailed and organized in everything she does. She created a timeline for our wedding day and I am so happy she did - she kept us on time all day! She listened to what we wanted and created beautiful wedding photos that we will cherish forever. Maria was the most FABULOUS photographer we could have hoped for on the most important day of our lives! From the beginning of my planning process, I knew I wanted her because of the expertise and professionalism she exudes through her photos. Little did I know I was getting the most organized photographer of all time! She planned out an entire timeline for the day-of and was very adamant about sticking to it-- which made the process so effortless for everyone, myself included! I even had other vendors who benefited from her timeline and professionalism! A few of the people in my wedding party who had been in other weddings recently even commented on how professional and easy Maria makes everything, and how it seems with just one-click she always has the perfect shot and doesn't have to spend several minutes snapping away to get a good photo-- this was amazing because it enabled us to spend more time enjoying the evening with our guests instead of posing for pictures. I cannot say enough good things about her and would absolutely recommend her and her amazing photography skills-- especially since her prices are competitive and more than fair for the work she does! Not sure where to start because I have so many great things to say about her! She is amazing to work with – we loved every second! I spent a significant amount of time looking at photographer’s websites and to be honest, all the pictures started to blend together and look the same. This was not something I wanted – which is why I am so happy I found Maria. I saw something in her pictures that I had never seen before; the ability to capture breath taking moments that you can enjoy for years! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and added her own artistic flare. She spent time going over every picture I wanted that day and made sure I got them. We were expecting rain (and it eventually did), but of course Maria had tons of ideas and back-up plans. I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments we have gotten on our pictures; we could not be happier! You will absolutely love working with her – I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

Maria does absolutely amazing work! Once we got back from our honeymoon, the pictures were ready to be downloaded in only a week's time! We couldn't believe how fast the pictures were ready. And, we were absolutely amazed by all of the wonderful moments Maria was able to beautifully capture! When planning my wedding and vendors, I may have spent the most time trying to decide on a photographer. After looking at so many photographers' websites, all of the wedding pictures started to look the same. That is until I found Maria Angela! I immediately fell in love with her portfolio.

Leading up to the wedding, she made the process so easy and I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing. She is very professional, kind and personable. Several times before and during the wedding she checks in to make sure that you get all of the pictures that you want. Then she puts her creativity to work and captures all of the precious moments throughout the day. Looking through the pictures took me right back to all of the great moments of my wedding day. The pictures continue to put a smile on my face and bring a tear to my eye. Not to mention that I had all of my pictures less than a month after my wedding.

Maria was our photographer for our wedding at Heinz Chapel and Carnegie Music Hall Foyer and we are beyond thrilled over the pictures!!! We just got the opportunity to see them all this week and we cannot stop looking at them! Every single one of them is beautiful and unique and we absolutely love them. Throughout the whole process Maria responded to emails or calls not even within the day but within the hour! She created a timeline for the wedding day that made everything run so smoothly and made changes whenever we needed her to. She definitely made sure to try and get all of the pictures we really wanted and also took some really amazing unexpected ones. Maria-Angela is a top notch photographer and as a bride who has been photographed professionally before I can tell the difference. I am from California and my fiancee' (now hubby) grew up and went to school in Pittsburgh, PA. I had never been to his hometown and I did extensive research on all the photographers in the area...many put up pretty looking websites with pictures of ring, shoes and food...which are all pretty easy to photograph since they don't move...it's when they have to shoot REAL people that it get's difficult. The lighting is soooo important and Maria-Angela has it all covered...it rained on our wedding day...but not to worry she is prepared for anything!! Easy to get along with, super cool but also VERY professional!! Having someone who tells suggests different poses (even if they feel silly at the time!! ) trust me you'll be glad later!! My only regret was that I didn't book her for the entire weekend!! My pictures are beyond amazing..thank you Maria (Ange!!)

I cannot speak highly enough of Maria Angela Photography. Maria was extremely well organized and easy to get a hold of even though when we started working together she lived in another state. She had great ideas for locations and was open minded to my suggestions. We loooved our wedding and engagement photographs. She did a very nice job of getting a wide variety of different types of shots (candids, romantic, silly, and traditional). I can honestly say there wasn't one photo I wasn’t thrilled with (and I am pretty picky). Maria also was sooo fast; we got to see all of our pictures a week after the wedding. I would highly recommend Maria Angela Photography!

I loved working with Maria from start to finish. During the planning process Maria was so easy to communicate with. She responded to emails in 24 hours or less (most of the time less)! On the day of our wedding Maria was professional and patient. I hardly knew she was there. The photos turned out beautiful. I was so worried about how they would turn out because we had heavy sea fog that set in during our ceremony and continued through our cocktail hour. However, I believe the pictures turned out just as fantastic (or better!) than if we would have had the sunset we were hoping for. Maria really captured us as a couple and why we picked our venue. We received our pictures only a few weeks after our wedding which I thought was a very quick turn around! We are so happy and grateful with Maria’s work.

Maria is absolutely amazing. Not only is she very professional, but her photography is out of this world. I LOVE candids so when I saw Maria's pictures I knew that she was the photographer for me. I am so happy that I chose Maria for my photographer. She made me feel comfortable from the very first conversation we had. I had expressed to her that I am not a very photogenic person and she assured me that I would feel comfortable on my wedding day. She made a timeline for the day of the wedding and asked for a list of names for each family picture. She said that she really tries to take the pictures quickly so you can enjoy your guests and reception. She was true to her word. We got amazing photos at sunset and then were up having fun with our friends and family. Maria had all of my photos ready for me within 2 weeks and had a cd in the mail for me. She captured all of the emotions throughout the wedding day. I love all of the pictures and I am so happy to have those memories forever.

When it comes to picking a photographer there is no other way to go than Maria-Angela, she is simply AMAZING!! I feel compelled to say that I barley ever write reviews but in her case it was a must! my husband and I knew the moment we met her that she was the one for us. she is the most down to earth person who is just incredibly talented. we absolutely loved each and every one of our pictures, and after seeing the final product we found ourselves laughing and crying and feeling all of the emotions of that day all over again. she caught all the raw real moments we didn't even realize were going on as well as getting the most beautiful posed one of us. she is nothing short of amazing as a photographer and as well as a person and I can not talk her up enough.

Maria is FANTASTIC!!! I knew from the minute I saw her work on her website I knew I had found my photographer. I had been searching and searching, when I saw her work I felt like this is it. When I met her she was so professional and experienced. She really listened to what kind of vision we had for our wedding and delivered!!! She is so talented and creative, which really makes your wedding one of a kind. She has really can understand your personality and create something that both you and your husband will love. Everyone asked if planning our destination wedding on Sanibel Island was challenging or stressful, and in reality it was not. I can contribute the ease of planning our wedding to our wonderful vendors especially to Maria Angela. She was very quick to respond to my emails and always responded in great detail making me feel very confident in her work.

Photography was important to us as we wanted someone to capture the moments so we could pass on our story of our special day for a lifetime. Maria Angela did exactly that and more! Her candid-style photography really showed the details and emotions of the day. We had so much fun taking our photos since she made us feel relaxed and natural. I have been in weddings before where I feel exhausted and stressed with all the photos and this was not the case with Maria Angela.

Her work is beautiful--I keep finding myself looking at our photos everyday!

From the first conversation I had with Maria I knew she was the photographer for me. She is clearly passionate about her job and it showed in the way she spoke about her work. On the wedding day, everyone who was involved in the photos, including myself and the groom, had a blast with Maria. I received so many compliments from everyone on her professionalism and how much fun she made the shoot. The icing on the cake was how quickly her turn around time for photos was. Within one week after the wedding we had all of our photos.

We would rate Maria Angela 10 stars if we could!

From our first conversation, Maria Angela made one of the biggest decisions for our wedding day VERY easy. Since we were planning our wedding from Ohio, we did our due diligence on every photographer in the area.

After each conversation with other photographers, we always found ourselves saying, "well, they can do this but Maria Angela....."

You will find that Maria Angela is very detailed oriented, customer focused, ALWAYS available, flexible, willing to provide advice on anything and everything in the area, and for some reason she NEVER snaps a bad photo!! Trust us, you need these characteristics in your photographer! Her assistant Frank was great as well! Too bad we couldn't book you for the entire night!

Her ability to capture key moments during our wedding day and tell the story of our most important day in pictures was priceless. Picture after picture, we found ourselves in tears at times looking at our photos.

Maria Angela and her team are extremely professional and she has an amazing artistic style in shooting her pictures! When I say that Maria was wonderful to work with from start to finish, it is a complete understatement! Maria is so organized and reliable that I never had to worry about anything! Since, I am from Michigan and was getting married in Florida I was having a bit of difficulty finding vendors. I emailed Maria and she gave me names of wonderful venders and always helped me in any way she could! I really appreciate that Maria was willing to go the extra mile to make my wedding amazing and she even wrote a photographer timeline for me!

Maria's pictures of my wedding turned out absolutely gorgeous and It was not an easy task since we endured heavy winds on the beach the day of our wedding! My favorite shots are the sunset shots on the beach! The colors in the photographs are to die for and it only took a few minutes to shoot them. Maria has an amazing knack for catching the true personality and emotions of the people she is shooting and it transpires through her work. I would highly recommend using Maria and her team for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, and/or any other important event.

I would also recommend booking the option of Maria's assistant photographer. My package included 8 hours of coverage and used Maria's assistant to cover the groom and groomsmen pre-wedding photographs. My husband has some really creative shots of his family and friends that he will cherish forever! Maria not only charges a fair price but you can’t put a price tag on her creativity and exquisite work! I can’t thank Maria and her team enough for being so flexible, making wedding stress free, and most of all for making everyone look so beautiful on my very windy wedding day!

Having a destination wedding is not always the easiest to plan but Maria helps take a big weight off your shoulders. She is extremely quick to respond to emails and is very open to hear your requests. Her and her assistant are extremely punctual, organized, and so much fun to be around. From our first phone call to now (waiting for my proofs) Maria has been amazing! My fiance was a little uncomfortable with doing engagement photos but the minute he met Maria he was relaxed and had a great time. Not to mention Maria produced the most amazing photos for us. She has the ability to catch the perfect moment, bring out colors you never knew existed in a photo and makes you laugh all the way through. I cannot wait to get the wedding photos as I know they will be just as amazing! I wish I could take Maria with me everywhere to document my entire life!

To me photography was one of the most important aspects of a wedding and I must say that my husband and I couldn't have picked a better person to photograph our wedding. Maria is a very calming, easy-going professional who did exactly what we desired. We are not the couple who wanted an album full of posed/contrived images. Maria Angela did a fantastic job capturing every little smile, facial expression and moment of our wedding day. When I first started researching photographers, it was quite difficult. My fiancé and I were living in Brazil so we only had the internet to go off. I found a few I liked, and enlisted the help of a great friend and amazing photographer to look at different profiles with me. I loved Marie Angela’s style and my friend agreed. My fiancé I set up a conference call with her and we clicked instantly. I knew she was the perfect photographer for me when she said she was “OCD” and liked things on time. I was beside myself with excitement. I told her I wanted my wedding pictures to tell a story of the day, which they do. I look at them and can remember exactly where I was in the day and how I felt. My husband and I had our destination wedding in Naples, FL in March and used Maria as our photographer. After much research, I decided to use Maria Angela, and I think it was one of the best decisions I made for the weekend. She was so attentive and allowed everyone to be themselves while capturing the days activities as they played out. I looked a long time for a photographer to do our destination wedding in Florida. I was looking for someone with a lot of experience and someone who had something truly unique to offer. The moment I saw Maria's photos on her website, I knew she was the one. Taking one look at her portfolio, I could tell wedding photography was her passion and her photos were not just the same old wedding pictures you see from other photographers.

Once I contacted her to get information, she was extremely responsive and the same vibe I got looking at her website I got in every correspondence we had. She pays very close attention to every detail, which is something you definitely want from your photographer on the most important day of your life. She was able to capture shots on the day of the wedding that I didn't even remember. My wedding photos are priceless and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Worth every penny!!!!

Maria's attention to detail carries through past the wedding day and on to every print, disk, or product you get. When the disks of all my pictures arrived in the mail, I was blown away.

Amazing Amazing Photographs! Not only is Maria a blast to be around, but her work is remarkable. Maria Angela Photography is absolutely an amazing group. I can not express enough on how they made my wedding day the best. The documentation of the entire day was done absolutely stunning. For me it was very important to find a photographer who captured times of emotion, important things that happened, without having the photos looked staged. Maria and her husband Matt are wonderful. There very layed back, professional, and understanding. They caught photos during my wedding that I did not know were being photographed. I have a best friend that I have been friends with for 15 years. Maria captured a conversation that we had at my wedding dinner that was such an important time for me. My best friend was telling me how much she loved me and my new husband, how happy she was for me, how much she valued me as a friend, and how happy she was to be there for me. Maria got photos of this moment and it was so special to me to look at my photos and see that she got such a heart filled special moment captured in a photograph and I had no idea she did it. I remember the exact conversation the minute I seen the photos. It was so brillant of her and it was so special to me. I would recommend this photographer to anyone. Words can truely not express how wonderful this photographer is. I was so lucky to have her photograph my wedding, because she captured the most memorable day of my life and she captured the beauty of the entire day! She used procurement and planning for the entire day. She had consideration of the composition and lighting, the perspective and position, the time of day. Her eyes have many artistic elements. She has loads of creative ideas: some planned, some spur of the moment, and she is willing to take any suggestions you have. She is always thinking and getting beautiful shots. She got many different emotions on camera as well. She is very good at understanding people and the type of couple they are and she gets very creative with there personalities. The Bride and I wanted to be sure that we captured all the moments of our wedding -- as everyone knows, the wedding flies by. Neither of us were that thrilled to have a camera in our face all night long... Maria-Angela's photo-journalistic style, made sure all the moments were captured, I don't even remember seeing her there - she is very stealthy and caught all these moments without you noticing a camera. As we worked the room, she caught countless moments with family members and friends. Our ceremony was captured so beautifully. All of the portraits we took came out fantastic, Maria-Angela made us so comfortable and really pulled out the best of us. Even my camera-shy, "not-so-photogenic bride" (at least she thinks she isn't) felt at ease and really got into the portrait thanks to Maria-Angela and took some of the most beautiful pictures of her life. Maria was an absolute dream to work with. Right from the very first email she was so easy to reach, communicate with, and just so helpful. Amazing isn't giving Maria Angela Photography justice. Maria's work is beyond comparison. I booked Maria 2 and 1/2 years ago and during that time I fell in love with every shoot that she did. I wasn't nervous about Maria's work because while planning my wedding I made a very wonderful friend.

I booked Maria Angela only one month before my wedding, after canceling with another photographer as my husband and I were very upset with the results from his work.

Well.. I could not been happier with Maria's work. She took over 1500 pictures and I could easily say I loved ALL of them! It will be very hard to select the best ones for our album.

Working with her was a breeze. She is professional, polite and always in a good mood. While shooting my wedding she unfortunately had to deal with a very rude videographer, but at no time she played his game. Maria and her assistant were nice to me, my guests and the rest of the staff the entire time. We had an amazing time.

I would certainly recommend her to my friends and family! She rocks!!!

If booking with another photographer, always have an e-session with him/her. That's the best way to truly evaluates his/her work and have a better idea of how your wedding pictures will turn out. I absolutely loved mine!

Not only is Maria crazy talented, but she is super professional and really dedicates herself to her clients! Maria knew that I wanted to meet all of my vendors in person before booking them, but I lived in Pensacola and she's based in Naples. She and Matt actually re-routed a cross country trip to stop by and meet me - and that was just the beginning.

There is absolutely no question. Maria Angela is THE BEST! My wedding was on November 7, 2009 and I received my photos ONLY 4 DAYS LATER on the 11th. Not only is she crazy talented and creative but extremely organized and professional. Less than 60 days away from my wedding date I needed to change locations and she found my wedding location for me!!!!! Which was the beautiful Quarry Country Club in Naples Florida. She not only captured the important moments, but she was able to catch even the simplest moment and turn it into an amazing photo. Maria did an amazing job capturing my daughters wedding day! She is a true artist and her photo journalistic style creates a story of a day that will never be forgotten and the memories of friends, family and loved ones will be treasured always . Maria even came through in a moment of panic and pinned the father of bride corsage on at the church ! She is a true professional. We spent an entire weekend looking at all the photos , crying , laughing and so thankful we selected Maria !

Girls! If you are having a destination wedding near Naples- this is the girl for you!!!!! She was spunky,fun, and a master of her craft. We had her for 3 hours and she got ever single picture I wanted. We did a first look which was really fun. She even came with a "flash girl" (LOL) who was also spunky and was great help! The pictures she took were so wonderful, and I will cherish them forever!!!!!!!!!!

Maria Angela Photography recently worked our May 26th wedding and she and her crew were amazing! I am so glad we used her! You could tell she was very knowledgable and has been doing wedding photography for a number of years. She made me feel at ease while planning a Pittsburgh wedding from Dallas, TX. She had me send her photo lists ahead of time, so day of we didn't miss a beat! I am so excited to see how the photos turned out!

I loved the pictures Maria took of our Heinz Chapel and Marriott wedding. They were all very beautiful. She was very professional. She was incredibly prompt in answering emails. I loved so many of the pictures that it really was hard for me to decide on which ones to purchase. Her picture prices are incredibly reasonable, which definitely did not help my decision making on what to get. LOL. Our pictures were ready within just a few weeks of our wedding and we were incredibly happy with them.

When starting to plan our September 2012 wedding we both agreed our photographer was one of the most important choices to make, if not the most important. My husband is a former Marine and has served 3+ years in Afghanistan primarily. While I am truly blessed he made it home he did take with him a lifelong disability that affects his memory. From the engagement session through the wedding Maria captured moments that without our beautiful photos it's very likely Kevin would have lost some memory of that day. Maria is incredibly professional, passionate, and creative. She did an outstanding job of capturing "Us", she also did an amazing job with photos of our 1 1/2 year old son who is always the life of the party and in our case the ceremony too! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for wedding photography. Your photos will last a lifetime, it's an investment well worth making. In our case it's priceless! I know in 10-20 years we will look back at these photos and "BOTH" feel like it was just yesterday and for that I am eternally grateful to Maria Angela Photography!

We knew from the very first picture we saw on her website that we wanted Maria Angela to be our wedding day photographer! Other than saying "I DO" the photography was the most important part of our wedding day. Maria took phenomenal pictures of my husband and I that we will look back at over the years to come and just glow with pure happiness. Her talent shows through each picture she takes....the angle she takes the picture...the lens that she uses....how she just knows that this is the shot she was waiting for...AMAZING! She and her husband are true professionals in this industry! We are forever grateful !!! XOXO

Maria helped us develop a package that worked within our budget! She was so professional and fun and we can't wait to see our pictures! She is absolutely great with her clients and you can see how much fun she has on facebook! You can tell that she loves what she does and puts everything into her work! Looking back, I wish we would have gotten more pictures of our guests at the reception, but since she was working with our budget we only had a certain amount of time. Thank you Maria for taking beautiful pictures and we had a great time on the beach with you! :). Still trying to talk my husband into a trash the dress session... Maybe for our 1 year! ;)

I was very happy with Maria. I could nit pick if I wanted because of being in the same business but for the most part I got what I wanted. I love my photos and I couldn't wait to see them.

Although I realize that I am the only bride giving negative feedback regarding Maria Angela Photography, I do hope that at least some brides will read and at least take caution. My husband and I are not a wealthy couple, but did want a superb wedding photographer to capture our moments. We had an overwhelming number of guests coming from all over to attend our wedding and wanted pictures of everyone looking their best, etc. Like all brides, I prepared a detailed time line and careful explanation of which pictures/portraits I wanted. It took approximately 7 weeks for me to receive my pictures, at which time, looking through them, I realized there were some pictures within my online gallery that I had not received on a disc. I emailed Maria and she sent a disc, with no cover, to my house with the missing pictures. I know it seems a small detail, however, we paid over $300 for discs of our pictures, I didn't think it was too much to ask for the discs to match, and that I not have to ask for the third disc in the first place. In addition, there is a stark contrast in the pictures I had requested she take, and the actual pictures that were taken. For instance, I wore bright shoes, and my husband wore matching bright socks, and I wanted a picture of just our feet: didn't get it. I wanted a portrait of my grandfather and I, whom has since passed away: didn't get it. There are no pictures of my husband and all of his siblings, all of which are military, one of which flew in from a deployment to be a part of the wedding. My bridal portraits are phenomenal, but there are no portraits of my husband. Also, I paid EXTRA for a magazine-quality touch-up service, and by the looks of some of my pictures, she didn't touch them up at all. And quite frankly, there are some pictures that are just downright awful: no one is looking at the camera, awful facial expressions, etc. Needless to say, no one is perfect, but when I pay over $2500 for a photography package, and read these fantastic online reviews about her services, I expected the best, and don't feel I got it.

Last and final comment I will make:
We had also booked a photobooth with props and self-push button for the wedding; 3 weeks before the wedding Maria notified us she would not be able to offer this service. 3 weeks is NOT adequate time to find another vendor willing to take up an entire Saturday evening for a photobooth. Not to mention that when we used our own resources and made our own photobooth, she had a nasty little comment to make about it.

I've seen Maria's work and it is fantastic, and I would have hoped our wedding photos would have been no different. Unfortunately that is just not the case, and we can't relive those moments. If I were going to do it all again, I would probably be insistent and have a trusted family member watching the photographer at all times and asking: have you gotten this/that portrait or picture? It seems petty, but overall, not a great experience, and it should have been avoided.

A main reason for my less than stellar review is the fact that many photos were not provided due to a corrupt memory card. Unfortunately, this card contained all of the most important photos such as first dance, speeches, sunset photos and the reception. The ceremony shots were beautiful and were my favorite part. The rest though I just felt were good, not outstanding. I would have liked to have more fun photos with the bridal party but we had pretty standard poses and we weren't even near the water. The sun was in our eyes for all of the shots, I just wish we had taken some from other angles. Due to the lost photos, we were able to double our album order which was nice as we got to include shots taken by friends and family that Maria enhanced. It was our wedding weekend so we of course had the time of our lives and will remember it forever, but I just wish the photos were able to capture the entire experience.

Avoid Marie-Angela at ALL COSTS. It was a nightmare working with her after she did our wedding photos. She was unprofessional, horrible to work with, and her photography was just plain bad. DISCLAIMER: we are not vengeful or spiteful people. Marie Angela has pushed us over the edge and we now feel the need to get the word out so other couples know to avoid her, simply for BUYER BEWARE purposes. Here are the reasons why:

Firstly, she showed up to our wedding in pigtails and shorts--VERY unprofessional.

The absolute worst thing was the photo albums that were agreed upon in her contract. Not only did we have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for her to complete them, she tried to UP-CHARGE us to do CUSTOM albums, claiming her contract specified that we would get 5 albums of the SAME grouping of pictures at the price point we paid! This was NOT spelled out clearly in her contract. When we explained this to her, she was very difficult and we had to threaten legal action against her so she would comply.

To make matters worse, she sent the albums to an old address of ours out of spite when she clearly had our current address. (She somehow managed to send the disc-copy to the correct address, but not the albums).

When we got our albums, we noticed certain photos were BLURRY, out-of-focus--and NOT in an artistic way! We sent one of them back to have her redo it, but she sent it back to us with my family picture having a horrible overexposed sun line that looks like an amateur created it. We are now using pictures that our FRIEND took at the wedding as our pictures. We do not even want to have her fix and re-fix this album again, because we are sick and tired of dealing with her. She was the absolute worst aspect of our wedding, and that's even after Publix dropped our cake on the ground.

I repeat: AVOID MARIE ANGELA LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
