Phenomenal Experience

I had a small destination wedding in Southern California and the make-up artist I had previously used was no longer in business however, she recommended Lettie to me. Lettie was professional, warm, sincere and gave suggestions to heighten the look I was going for. She was absolutely amazing and by the end of our session I felt like she was part of the wedding party. You will no doubt love Lettie!

Mirror Mirror beauty, has exceeded all my bridal hair and makeup expectations and more! They were on time, professional, and made me look feel and look exactly how I wanted on our big day! My makeup was flawless, and my hair was on point, I got so many complements throughout my wedding night. They really took their time during the trial, to understand the hair and makeup look I was going for. They also did all of my bridal party hair and makeup, and were very efficient without sacrificing the quality of service. I was worried about timing because I had a larger bridal party, but Mirror Mirror stayed on task, and all my bridesmaids looked amazing! I can't say enough great things, I highly recommend this vendor.

Made my dreams come true!!

I can’t say enough about how amazing my experience with Berit was! She made what could have been a very stressful process fun and enjoyable. I had too many bridesmaids for her to do by herself so she found someone to help her and her assistant makeup artist was great too. Berit did my makeup trial and I absolutely loved my makeup and couldn’t have asked for anything better, but then on the day of my wedding, it looked even more pristine. She arrived early and really helped me take the edge off because her personality is so sweet and caring. And she was with me through the entire event and even did a night time touch up before the reception to make my makeup even more glamorous. I would absolutely, without question hire her again. LOVE LOVE LOVE her and how she made my special day even more special!

Amazing makeup for my beach wedding in Florida

Berit does amazing makeup. She is professional, sweet, and easy to work with. She travelled to Florida to do makeup for my beach wedding. She gave me a natural bridal makeup, and her work is very detailed which is the reason her makeup looks so natural. I felt gorgeous. My mom and aunt had never had professional makeup done before, and were nervous, but Berit made them feel very comfortable, and they really enjoyed it. Everyone looked incredible. Berit took completely care of me on my wedding day, she even did touch up, before we were introduced at the reception. My makeup lasted all day, as well as my bridesmaids, aunt, and mother’s, which is amazing as the humidity in Florida is high. Berit also kept excellent track of her timeline, and everyone was ready on time. I would highly recommend Berit.

Amazing makeup service for going away party

Berit is hands down the most professional makeup artist I’ve worked with to get me ready for a party. Sweet, attentive, communicative, personable, and flexible are just the top things I can think of to describe her personality during my service. I asked Berit from mirror mirror beauty to do my make up for myself and friends for a going away party before I moved across the country. The moment Berit finished my makeup, friends immediately noticed the smile on my face, my boost in confidence. I felt radiant and on fire and like every beautiful thing about me shown through. Natural Beauty Expert

Berit is an experienced make up artist. Her make-up style is natural and enhances any women natural beauty. She had done the make-up for two of my daughter's best friends engagement parties and weddings. Pleasure to work with

Berit was wonderful to work with. When I didn’t love my first trial, she took great notes on what works best for my face, and offered to do it again at no charge. She actually saw my mom instead when I didn’t have time for another trial. On the day of the wedding she was super professional, on time, and made everyone look beautiful. My makeup lasted all day, as well as my bridesmaids and mother’s. I would highly recommend Mirror Mirror beauty.

Best makeup I've had

Berit first did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid, and I had never been happier with my makeup! As someone who is very VERY picky about makeup, this was the first time that I didn't re-do anything after getting it done. So I knew I needed her to do my makeup for the wedding and I'm SO glad I did because every (equally picky :) ) bridesmaid in my wedding agreed they'd never been happier with their makeup. She is detailed, listens to your preferences, understands exactly what you're going for - and executes it better than you could have envisioned! I cannot recommend her enough.

Lettie the Wonderful White Witch!

CHOOSE LETTIE!! Not only is she wonderfully kind,fun and relaxed she is patient and WOW so talented!!! I had Lettie do the mom's, my aunt, 4 bridesmaids and myself and she absolutely made everyone look like their best version without overdoing it!
Lettie listen's to you and cares about the experience overall and as she has years of experience she works with each person individually.
I had the spray makeup and didn't need to touch up anything once during the day, my makeup and hair stayed perfect yet wasn't caked on at all (I even went on the rides at Santa Monica Pier!)
My friends and my bridesmaids have called Lettie "The White Witch" as she is SO talented.
One of my bridesmaids has already used her again for an event in Topanga.
Trust Lettie and her team and you will feel like a princess and more on your day!

Berit is an absolute professional! I booked an all-day package with her (for make-up only) and she was able to accommodate myself, along with 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms along with endless touch-ups. She started the day at 8:30am and stuck to her timeline and got everyone done in time. She even delayed her own lunch til mid-afternoon to make sure we were all photo ready! She was constantly checking if any of my BMs needed touch-ups and just did a phenomenal job on everyone's makeup, ensuring everyone looked natural and flawless. She even stayed after the ceremony for more touch-ups and to bump up my eye makeup for the reception for a new look. Lashes and airbrushing are included and she did a quick powder for my husband to make sure he looked good in the photos!

Berit definitely goes above and beyond. For my trial, she was actually able to accommodate me at my house since it was on the way to a wedding she was working on later that day. She took meticulous notes after the trial session so she could reference it during the wedding day. She also took into account my comments after the trial and made the appropriate adjustments for the day of. I usually always have an issue with my eye makeup smearing onto my lower eyelid, but she miraculously was able to do my makeup so that it wasn't even an issue later in the evening!

I would highly recommend Berit and her team! If you can make it work with your budget, I also recommend one of the all-day makeup packages.

This is a long overdue review but Berit did my makeup for both my engagement session as well as our wedding day back in April 2015. She was very professional and responsive. She was very easy to coordinate with on wedding day and very timely! She's been doing this awhile and knows what photographs well. Worth every penny! Photos came out great!!

I contacted a few different hair and makeup people for my wedding day and Lettie Mix really stood out. She gave me all her pricing and information up front and it was awesome that she lived so close to me. I had a trial run with her at her house and we had such fun! She looked over all my photos of hairstyles and really listened when I explained what I wanted to look like on my big day. On the actual day, she showed up promptly at the hotel and made me and my bridesmaid sister both look beautiful. We got so many compliments and I have to say my pictures came out better than I could have hoped. My hair did not move at all the entire night and this was an outdoor wedding, which is exactly what I wanted!

Lettie did an amazing job with the makeup for my wedding. She spent a lot of time with me learning exactly how I wanted to look and all my little quirks of what I like and don’t like. Lettie was an absolute JOY to work with! Her work is incredible, and I am so giddy that I am one of her beautiful brides! Getting to work with her was a dream for me. I found her through friends, and had my fingers crossed that she had my date open. One peek at her social media accounts sealed the deal for me- I had to have her! And lucky me- she had date :) Her work is beautiful, and she came very highly recommended. And while it is always nice to work with vendors who come highly recommended, it is even better when they exceed your expectations and become a friend!
Lettie is an all-star vendor- from my trial to the actual event, she was wonderful, fun, and professional. Any text or email was responded to within minutes, and any worries I had were soothed by her years of experience and calming responses to me. Our wedding day was so special to us, and we love and appreciate that Lettie treated it the same way. She made me look- and feel- fabulous on my special day. And she also made my mom and friends feel the same way! Everyone looked gorgeous, and all of us received compliments all night long on how lovely we all looked!

Barit is truly amazing! If you want to look your best, look no further and hire Berit! I purchased the All-Day package and am so glad I did-- She did a flawless job on me, 5 bridesmaids and my mom and sister. She made everyone feel comfortable and all the girls looked absolutely stunning! She even did some finishing touches (with makeup powder) on the groomsmen and father of the bride. Berit is very attentive and was always near for detailed touchups and even did a look change from wedding to reception. Berit is an extremely talented, accommodating, and highly responsive makeup artist. Despite having never met her prior to my wedding day, she created the perfect look for me. It's incredibly difficult to plan a wedding from thousands of miles away, but I felt like I was in great hands with her. She usually responded to emails within a few hours, and always before the 24-hour mark, which I was highly impressed by. She is also a great listener. Even though I never had a preview, our email interactions felt like one, as she was very meticulous about figuring out what I wanted and whether or not she could provide what I was asking for. If you're planning a local wedding or one far away, I highly recommend her services. She's a true gem!

Berit was AMAZING! She was so helpful during my make up trial, and on the day of my wedding! She always made sure I loved every aspect of my makeup, and did any tweaks with ease, it didn't take long at all for me to know I was in great hands. The trial was so helpful, and Berit was super flexible with my odd work schedule. She came all the way out to us in Malibu to do my wedding make up, my mothers make up, and lashes for my ladies, and wow everyone looked flawless. My makeup lasted all night through out tears and getting a little dewy on the dance floor. I looked like a princess all night, she was able to glam me up wile still making sure I looked like "me" Thank you Berit for bringing my bridal bliss to the surface, you are amazing at what you do!

Mirror Mirror came to my rescue when I contacted them at the last minute after 2 horrible experiences with other hair and make up companies. Berit called me the night I filled out a contact form on the website and said she would figure out a way to help. She was able to have Lexie and Helena do my trial the next day and then arranged to have Crystal help out on the day of my wedding too. Their prices were reasonable and their service was fantastic. Everyone (my mom, sisters, bridesmaids, aunt, and flower girls) looked amazing at the wedding and I loved my hair and make up. We started on time (9am) and everyone looked perfect until the end of the night 15 hours later. Some of the girls even kept their hair and make up for brunch the next day! Would definitely recommend them!!

Mirror, Mirror and Berit helped me to give me a fairytale wedding day! I had the best experience using Berit's services. I had 2 recommendations to use Mirror, Mirror, and am so pleased that I did! The first recommendation came from my niece, and since she and all her friends around the LA/OC area have used Berit’s services, I was very confident In using Berit’s services. The second recommendation came from my best friend who used Berit’s mentor and teacher, Donna Mee of Donna Mee Inc., who is highly regarded and well-known in the make-up industry. Wow! a double-endorsement for “the work” of Mirror, Mirror!
I, personally, wanted a natural look and did not have chance to do a “preview” day (which is ALWAYS the best idea!). Berit was able to listen to my desires and give me the EXACT look that I had wanted, for both myself and my maid-of-honor. I had sent her a photo of my maid-of-honor and myself before the make-up-session and she was prepared, on-time, and lovely to work with. The make-up highlighted my better features and lasted all day; however, I forgot in the excitement of the day to “touch-up" lipstick, as sometimes necessary. i was pleased with the eyelashes she added, as they looked natural and I felt brought out a nice feature. Overall, I felt my appearance looked the best that it possibly could, which is EXACTLY what you want for the most important day your life!

Berit with Mirror Mirror Beauty is truly an amazing makeup artist. I tend not to wear a lot of makeup so for my wedding day I was looking for a very natural yet flawless look. Before seeing Berit, I had two other makeup trials and I didn’t feel myself. I felt like the makeup was over powering and too drastic for the natural look I requested. Berit listened to what I wanted and delivered. Plus I was breaking out a little due to wedding planning stress. Berit is so knowledgeable with makeup application, this was not a problem, and my appearance was flawless. Choosing her as my makeup artist for my wedding was one of the smartest moves I made. She also did the makeup for my 3 bridesmaids and my mother. Again she listened to what they wanted, and everyone was thrilled. I cannot say enough about how professional, easy to work with, flexible, and talented Berit with Mirror Mirror Beauty is. She did my makeup as well as my bridal party's makeup for my wedding day. What made Berit stand out against other makeup artists I was considering is the fact that she offers a great all-day package, and boy was it worth it! She was there for me for touch-ups during our first-look photos before the ceremony, and after the ceremony she was there to touch me up for photos as well. Before our grand entrance, she made my look a little more night-time glamorous and my make-up lasted all day and all night long. Berit did a great job listening to what I wanted and doing it perfectly. All the bridesmaid looked beautiful as well. She even stayed until the ceremony to do touchups.

Berit's personality and energy is contagious. I met Berit a few years ago when she was the MAU (makeup artist) for my best friend's wedding. She is extremely talented and will listen to all of your needs and ideas that you envision for your big day. She will also offer suggestions that you may have overseen due to all the details that come with wedding planning. Knowing that I had Berit for the entire day left me at ease leading up to the wedding and of course the day of. She is professional and punctual. I could not recommend enough or be more happy that I had Berit as my MUA. She will not disappoint and will be one of your easier vendors to work with.

I don't have enough amazing things to say about Berit!! During my initial consultation she took the time to ask me everything I like about makeup & don't like. My concerns, inspiration, etc. We went through every detail of my wedding day makeup together and she took notes of & saved everything I provided her with including photos. She did the exact same for my mother. She is extremely professional and such a wonderful person to work with. On the day of my wedding she was kind, understanding, calm, timely and efficient. She was with me for every moment of the day, making sure I looked picture perfect when I walked down the aisle. When there was a hiccup in the schedule, Berit was there to MAKE SURE I had my hair & makeup touch up AND to do my bustle. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly around me even when it wasn't her responsibility. She truly was an amazing person to have be apart of my special day, and any bride would be lucky to have her. She made me feel absolutely gorgeous & a better version of myself.

Berit helped make my wedding day perfect. She was so great to work with and made me and my bridal party look amazing. We got nothing but compliments that day and my makeup turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. We got our pictures back from the photographer and my makeup looks nearly perfect in every one of them. I did the all-day package and it was great! Berit is incredibly easy going, accommodating, efficient and extremely talented. She helped keep us on schedule and made us look beautiful!

We purchased an all-day package for my daughter's wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club. We were so pleased with Berit! There were 11 bridesmaids, the bride, and the mother of the bride so Berit brought an assistant. Everyone looked fabulous. Berit's personality is calm and upbeat and her attention to detail is superb. We were very pleased and her skill really showed up in the pictures! I will use her again.

Berit was absolutely wonderful to work with! I first had my makeup done by her as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and loved the outcome. When it came time for my wedding, she was the only person I would even consider. I decided to go with the 'All Day Package' which worked out perfectly. The package included a trial at Berit's studio where she spent almost 4 hours with me and my Mom. On my wedding day she did mine, my 5 bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother's makeup. Everyone felt and looked stunning. The 'All Day Package' also included touch-ups for the groom, touch-ups after photos (before the ceremony) and also a look change for the reception. It was so nice having Berit with me and my bridesmaids for the entire day. She is detail oriented, extremely professional and so sweet. I couldn't speak any more highly of her and would definitely recommend her to all future brides.

Berit was amazing! She was so nice and friendly and did such a beautiful job on me and all my bridesmaids! She knows what she's doing and I really like that she took charge when I didn't know what I wanted. She knew just how much coverage I needed. She really gets to know you and your wedding which helps her understand your vision maybe even before you know your vision yourself! She was extremely organized and on the day of the wedding when the hotel we were getting ready at screwed up and threw us off schedule and made us all extremely stressed out she kept her cool and got us back on track. I'd absolutely use her again and recommend her to all my friends.

Berit and her team are amazing!!! They are worth every penny!!!! They were easy to work with. Took direction of what I liked or didn't like and made me into a princess on the day of my wedding!! Berit did a flawless job on not only my makeup, but also on the makeup of my ten bridesmaids. I am VERY picky when it comes to makeup, and Berit listened to every request and exceeded all of my expectations. I did a lot of research on makeup vendors, and I am so happy I found Berit. I got married on Saturday in Laguna Beach and Berit came to our hotel to do my makeup as well as that of my 3 bridesmaids. I joke that she turned us caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. I did a preview of makeup and hair a month or so prior and was extremely happy with the job she did there, but was even happier on the improvements she made on the day of the wedding. The 4 of us looked amazing. None of us were used to wearing makeup at all, so it was a wonderful transformation. Berit was on time, very organized, professional, and so sweet to work with. We were so lucky. It gets even better. My hair stylist bailed out on me the week of my wedding, and Berit quickly recommended a friend of hers who worked at a salon a block from our hotel and who would be willing to do all of our hair at the hotel for us. Berit arranged everything and saved the day! She definitely went above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend her for your makeup needs.

I found Berit by researching the internet. I already had a referral but wanted to have a couple of trial runs with other make up artists before deciding which style worked best for me. Upon arriving at Berit's, she had a very nice studio set up with plenty of pictures, endless amounts of makeup and hair products... and all in a very comfortable environment! Of course, all this is important when choosing a make up artist but what really sold me was her down to earth personality, professionalism and vision to help me seek the look I was going after on my wedding day! The results of the trial run was more than I had expected...she had transformed me into a glamorous but natural looking bride to be! So when it came to my big day, I knew exactly what to expect and she absolutely delivered again! I couldn't of been more pleased with my make up and up-do (chignon). I can also say the same for my MOH and two nieces... her make up & their hair was beautiful! Thank you Berit ... I can't tell you how many guest commented on my hair and lashes, that's when you know your eyes really stand out! I was referred to Berit by a good friend who has worked with her many times, along with our wedding planner Brooke Keegan. From start to finish, working with Berit was a pleasure! She did my makeup exactly as I wanted and envisioned for our wedding day. Berit is easy to communicate with, she is uber organized and she made me feel relaxed the entire time. I found Berit online and loved the photos on her website so I decided to schedule a trial with her. One of my biggest pet peeves with any vendors is punctual responses, and Berit promptly responded to all of my emails and texts every time!
The trial was AMAZING-Berit uses airbrush and false eyelashes, which are an absolute must. The look was exactly what I had in mind! We were so impressed that we booked her that afternoon! Since my wedding was on Labor Day Weekend, we booked the all day package (which is the only option Berit will do on a holiday weekend).
Day of, Berit arrived at my home where we got ready, and was set up right on time according to our very meticulous schedule! Berit worked her magic on my 5 bridesmaids, my mom, my grandma, and me. When it was time to head to the wedding venue in Newport Beach, Berit followed behind and quickly setup in our bridal room to start on touchups. After the ceremony, she was right on hand to do touchups for me before photos. I also did a “look change” before the reception where she darkened up my eyes for a bit more of a dramatic look. My bridesmaids and I also each received a touchup kit with lip-gloss, q-tips, oil blotters, and some bobby pins! The all day package ended up being perfect for us. It was great feeling knowing I had my own personal makeup artist the entire day; I never had to worry about looking oily, smearing makeup, or not having lip gloss. My bridesmaids were all incredibly happy with their looks as well! And my mom was over the moon with how incredible everyone (including herself) looked! (And my mom really doesn’t wear a ton of makeup and she felt so comfortable the entire time-even with false eyelashes!) All in, Berit was with us about 12 hours, and I couldn’t have imagined going through the day and all the photos without her right by my side ready to help!
Any time I ever need professional makeup I wouldn’t think twice about hiring Berit-she absolutely crushed it!

After my sister had a poor experience with her make-up artist at her wedding, I decided that a make-up artist would be one of the first vendors I would look for once the wedding planning process would start for myself. I found Berit through another bride who had her as well as my sister's make-up done by Berit - I thought they both looked so beautiful so I had to find out who she was! When I first emailed her, I wasn't sure at all about how to go about looking at different make-up vendors, but Berit was very intentional and polite about contacting me to see if I need any help with deciding on a make-up artist (or ANY other wedding plans for that matter!). Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she contacted me asking if I needed hep with vendors, scheduling the day, or anything else - she was so genuinely helpful, kind, and professional. And not to mention talented - she did all of my bridesmaids, my mothers, as well as my cousins' make-up with the help of an assistant and everyone looked AMAZING! My bridesmaids later thanked me too because they said they felt so beautiful on the day of the wedding, which was my aim for a make-up artist - to find somebody who would help the morning of my wedding be relaxing and fun as well as make my bridal party and I feel incredible. Berit did just that and so much more by being a sort of 'beauty assistant' for all of our pictures and changing my look for the reception as well. I couldn't have felt more well taken care of on the best day of my life!! :)

I knew from the first few conversations that I had with Berit that I wanted to hire her. Throughout the wedding planning process she was a gem to work with. Emailed me back right away and always helped give me advice along the way. On the day of the wedding, she was PERFECTION. Since makeup artists don't come cheap, I really wanted to make sure that by hiring one for me and my sister I would look noticeably better than if I did it myself, yet still looked natural and like myself. After doing some research, Berit always seemed to come out on top and had seemingly countless raving reviews. All her before and after photos seemed to always enhance the person's natural beauty. So we decided to go with her and was highly impressed by how professional she is. Makeup can be a very personal thing and if you're not used to seeing yourself in a certain way (e.g. with a bold red lip) it can take some getting used to. Berit was very good at managing me and making me feel confident. She even gives you a little packet for touch ups throughout the day. But the airbrush makeup lasted all day and I didn't even touch my makeup once despite being under the hot Laguna Beach sun in the beginning of August. My photos turned out beautiful and I got lots of compliments that day. Thank you Berit!

Berit did such a great job on my wedding day! She was so convenient to get to in Laguna Beach and was the only makeup artist around Orange County that was willing to get up for a 6am start on a weekday! My makeup was perfect and not too much. I do not wear makeup daily so it was not a dramatic change and just the right amount. I would definitely recommend Berit for hair and makeup.

Our wedding was at the Inn at Laguna Beach and since we were not from the area, they provided us with a list of preferred vendors in which Berit was listed. I contacted her and felt at ease from the moment we spoke. I met with her for a consultation and trial on hair and makeup ~ she knocked it out of the park so I booked her and looked forward to looking my best on my wedding day. I have been getting botox and juvederm semi-annually for years and have never had any adverse reactions but, four days before my wedding, I went in for a touch up and bruised pretty badly around my right eye and above my top lip on each corner. I was devistated and contacted Berit to inform her how my face had reacted. She assured me all was well and not to worry. I was worried, so worried, I made myself sick. But, my wedding day came and when all was said and done you could not tell I had any brusing at all. My fiance, upon seeing me walk down the isle with the smile on my face was so surprised, when I got up to stand by his side, he leaned in and said, with tears in his eyes "You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen". My family could not believe their eyes and my guests were none the wiser. Berit has no idea how she transformed me on my wedding day and I could never thank her enough. I would highly recommend Berit for any occasion for both hair and makeup.

Berit did the makeup for my sister's wedding a few years ago, so I knew she would be great when I booked her for my wedding, and she did not disappoint! I was very happy with my makeup on the big day, and she did a great job on my bridesmaids as well. She also referred me to a great hairstylist! I bought the full day package which was a bit expensive but totally worth it! Berit gave me an awesome second look for my reception and was really helpful all day--she even ran back to our hotel room to bring something my husband forgot!

Most importantly, Berit is extremely professional and reliable, which in my experience was a somewhat rare quality among wedding vendors. She's the best!

Berit is the best! Not only is she an amazing artist but she is personable, kind, a good listener and she really has it all together. These traits are needed on a bride's big day. I could write an entire essay about how wonderful Berit is! My friend got married a few months before me and her makeup looked so stunning that I had to get the name of her artist and next thing I knew Berit was doing my wedding makeup as well! She is great at interpreting what your desired look is, and implementing in a way that looks very natural and fresh. Berit is extremely talented, but beyond the makeup, she is a true professional. Leading up to my wedding she helped me develop a plan to keep my wedding day on schedule and worked behind the scenes with my coordinator and photographer to keep everything running smoothly the morning of the wedding (which is a lot more difficult than you would expect!). My bridesmaids and my mother got their makeup done for the wedding as well and had all the best things to say about her work and her kind spirit. In short, she's absolutely fantastic and you will feel like the most beautiful bride on your wedding day if you choose Berit!

Berit was great! Having my wedding in a place six hours from where I live had its problems but Berit was amazing! She got back to my inquiries in a timely manner and was great in communicating throughout. She was professional, nice and great at her craft. Even without a trial with my makeup she nailed it. Berit did a phenomenal job with hair and makeup for my wedding reception! When we walked in (she was already set up) and we just knew that we were in very capable hands.
I live in New York, but had our reception in California, so I wasn't able to have a trial. It was no problem at all, Berit came completely prepared and made us (myself, my mother and sister) look our flawless best.
She was extremely professional - incredibly organized, prompt with emails, on time, and went the extra mile to squeeze us in on a day when she already had morning bookings. Since we were out of towners, Berit also helped us find a fabulous local photographer!
When I finally met her on the day, she was so pleasant to chat with as well.
Berit undoubtedly contributed to making the day smooth and worry free!

Berit was truly one of my best wedding investments. I chose to do the full day package which meant I had Berit by my side the entire day. Since I wanted to look my best 24/7 this was a gift I gave myself. Not only did she touch me up before and after the ceremony but she made sure my hair and makeup looked perfect in every picture. I wanted to revamp my look for my grand entrance and within 25 minutes I looked like a different bride. My hair was swept up and I added a bit more drama to my look for the reception.

Berit did both my mother and mother in law who were equally happy and looked radiant that day. She touched up all of my 7 bridesmaids during the course of the day and the girls loved it!

Hair and makeup is such a crucial part of the brides look and Berit made me feel absolutely gorgeous. She was fabulous and was such a joy to work with! If she isn't booked already grab her now!

Berit did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She also did makeup for my mom and two bridesmaids. She did a fabulous job! I was very pleased with my hair and makeup. I had a makeup and hair trial on separate occasions. Berit took notes and pictures at the trials, so that any issues or parts that I didn't like were noted for the wedding day. My hair and makeup on my wedding day was absolutely perfect. Both my hair and makeup lasted all day and well into the evening, even after I did a trash the dress in the ocean. My mom and bridesmaids were all very happy with their makeup as well. Berit is very accommodating and personable. She was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her for both hair and makeup.

Berit did makeup for my wedding, and my four female family members... and she was fantastic.

Her personality and amazing skill with make-up was beyond appreciated. All event long, people specifically commented on how good my makeup looked, and given her "tricks" -- people were convinced that I had put blue contacts in my eyes (I hadn't).

Berit made me look and feel so "stunning" -- I can't recommend her more highly.

Also, I was traveling a lot leading up to the wedding, and she was incredibly flexible with me in setting up a time for a preview -- which was very much appreciated!

Berit has an effortless grace, coupled with immense talent that made our wedding and its festivities truly special. Berit and her team not only managed our large group us (10 women, including bride and Mothers of the Bride and Groom) with extreme professionalism and style, but listened to every woman's wishes and truly exceeded them --- one after the other!

It was so refreshing to not have to worry about Berit. She came armed with only the best products and on time, as well as crafted the perfect schedule to ensure we beat our wedding timeline. Moreover, she was always there with a smile and ever-accommodating-- she even did my makeup the evening prior for our welcome party which truly made her a part of our wonderful celebration. She made everyone feel beyond stunning and having her there to freshen us up throughout the wedding day was a dream. She made me feel like a queen.

Moreover, being the major, multi-talent that Berit is, she also did my hair change -- meaning, although Berit did not do my initial do I trusted her to take it down for my reception and she did extraordinary job.

Berit is an exceptional makeup artist! I hired her for my engagement shoot and loved her so much that I asked her to do my wedding, including bridesmaids, mothers of bride and groom, aunts, and grandmothers! She tailored looks for all depending on age, and every woman from 20s to 80s looked absolutely gorgeous for my wedding!!! I even recommended her for my best friend's wedding, so she was hired for that one, as well! Needless to say, Berit and I became very close this past summer :), and her makeup work is consistent perfection!

I am extremely picky with sensitive skin, and Berit interpreted my makeup ideas/comments/concerns to create stunning looks for each event! She has a brilliant understanding of how makeup translates to film and is able to produce a naturally beautiful, fresh, flawless look without going over the top. I especially LOVE her airbrushing-it is so light and lasts all night with minimal need for touch ups! Amazing given the craziness of the reception!

Overall, Berit is a consummate professional with impeccable time management. She worked with me to create a detailed schedule, and everyone in the wedding party was ready without the panic/rush of getting to the ceremony on time! Berit is an absolute JOY to be around and has this calming effect on others - all traits extremely crucial for the big day!

I would highly recommend Berit and cannot wait until I have an excuse to get my makeup done by her again!

Berit was absolutely fantastic about everything for the wedding. I must have emailed her a dozen times asking her opinion on various tiara options. On the day of, she kept to her timetable really well, which I appreciated very much. She did my mother's makeup, too, which really made my mom excited and very confident about going forward in the day. By the end, I did have some mascara smudges, but it's not Berit's fault that I teared up without a tissue at hand.

Berit is so professional, friendly and completely flexible! I live in Australia and Berit was responsive and understanding about the time difference and timing leading up to the wedding.

She did a great job with my practice run and made it fun and relaxed. She arrived early on my wedding day and brought her own mobile make-up until with her - it was very impressive.

You want to talk perfection? Berit is it ladies! I called around to try and find the best makeup artist. At first I tried calling salons for makeup referrals and got a lot of younger gals who sounded disinterested or sounded incredibly flaky “um….yeah, I guess I can come over for your wedding, what did you want again?” which didn’t leave a warm feeling behind. I also tried (on a friend’s recommendation) to visit the Mac counter where I ended up looking like a clown. Then there was Berit. She was so professional over the phone and took the time to go over the look I wanted and remembered my wedding date and names of the other people who wanted makeup from the email I sent her. I scheduled a trial with her for my wedding makeup as I was attending a friend’s wedding that evening in Palm Springs and wanted to see how it would hold up. I was there at 8am and she took a “before” picture. She then took the time, close to 2 hours, to really get the look down all the while taking notes on what she used and how it was applied and then took an “after” picture. That makeup lasted ALL DAY AND NIGHT! From 8am until 2am when I took it off the makeup remained flawless. In fact all my girlfriends kept coming over to me and were dying to know what I did because their make up had sweated off or faded. A few days later, Berit emailed me the before and after pictures so that I could look over the makeup and make any changes which I thought was very cool. For the wedding itself Berit brought her A-game. She was so calm and warm and just a joy to have around. She applied my makeup exactly the same way and even asked if I wanted to change anything. She also made my mother and maid of honor look their absolute best! What’s more is she even did up my 4 year old flower girl who was enthralled by the makeup! My bridesmaids who didn’t want to pay for full makeup were able to get lashes applied by Berit for super cheap (fastest and BEST lash application ever) and so everyone looked their best! I

I had gone through 2 other possible make-up artists prior to finding Berit. I could not be any happier with my choice! Berit took the time to look at my makeup inspirations, look at my best features, listen to my stories of woe, and make some magic happen! I have never felt so radiant in all my life. Berit was a very sweet, caring, and expert make-up artist. Since I was planning my wedding from WA, I relied on technology! I found Berit here on wedding wire, and am so happy I did!! I was so happy with her work, and felt very beautiful on my wedding day. I also scheduled a make-up preview before my engagement photo shoot! This way, I could be assured of the quality of her work and get to know her a little bit :) Well our engagement photos came out so gorgeously that it was a no-brainer to book her for the wedding!! She did my Mom, maid of honor, and my own make-up. We had a tight schedule to keep to that morning, and she was ready to help make our inner beauty shine externally! I was grateful for her positive attitude, encouragement, and incredible talent. Each of us felt very taken care of and beautiful! I had airbrush make-up done for the engagement shoot and for the wedding photos (so did my mom), and we were super pleased with the outcome! All day long there were no worries :) And she even sent me with a small pouch of touch-up tools just in case--I think there was a small sample of my lipstick and liner, a little compact mirror, and a small mascara, although I'm not sure because I never needed to use them because my make-up was perfect from the start of the day! You will not regret booking Berit. She is fabulous, and helped me work through the wedding day timeline so it was seamless and stress-free!! :)

Berit was so wonderful and such a delight to work with. It is always a guessing game when you come from another state to decide on who is the best person to use for makeup and hair. Berit was so assuring and helpful throughout the whole process. She did my makeup and hair as well as my daughter and granddaughter. She did an absolutely beautiful job on all of us. Berit was such an amazing addition to my wedding experience. I do not wear much make up at all in my every day, non-wedding, life so I was nervous about having make up done for me wedding day. Even though I was trying to keep my wedding day costs low, having my make up done was an aboslute priority because I wanted to make sure that my face looked nice in the professional pictures. During the make up trial, Berit was so patient with me and worked with me to ensure that I had the best make up possible. I chose to do the air brush make-up and was so happy with that decision. Berit did my make up for both my engagement pictures and for my wedding day. She was so pleasant to be around. This was very important to me as I wanted only happy people to be with me on the morning of the wedding day!! To say Berit is amazing would be an understatement. She was such a joy to work with and willing to try different types of makeup and correct and change things that I noticed in photographs and other events. (The only reason for corrections was because I was not very clear on what I wanted.. so I had to try different styles ☺ ) My wedding day make up was amazing and all my bridesmaids and mom looked so beautiful!!!

Beyond being an amazing make-up artist, she went above and beyond for me. Our wedding photographer had scammed us out of almost the entire amount of the wedding package and disappeared, unfortunately he had done this to many others as well.. When I let Berit know I needed to reschedule my makeup trial (since I was hoping to have our engagement shoot the day I had my makeup done…) She was so understanding and listened to my situation., and understood that I could not give a specific day to reschedule and that I would contact her as soon as I knew anything.

She felt horrible about our situation and went out of her way to contact highly recommended wedding photographers she had worked with before, and since we were at loss with the other photographer, she let them know of our situation and agreed to a very reasonable price. WHAT A BLESSING!!

I will definitely use Berit again in the future. She is very professional, patient, and kind. I was extremely impressed by her service.

Berit was absolutely wonderful to work with. The transformation was stunning. I knew what I wanted for my hairstyle and it was right on but I didnt have an idea about how I wanted to have my makeup. I left that in here hands. It was perfect. Flawless!!! Her talent and knowledge is incredible. Best Wedding Make-up Artist in Southern California!
Berit really knows her stuff. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did it even better than I could have imagined. She is easy to talk to, easy to work with, and the sweetest woman! The make-up trial was so much fun, and we even learned a few tricks too! But most importantly, my make-up for my wedding was flawless! Not only did it last ALL day (from 10am-11pm), but it did not smudge once, and looked as good at the end of the night as it did at the beginning of the day. My make-up was exactly what I wanted, and I got so many compliments during the day. I was at ease knowing that I trusted Berit to make me look beautiful, and it took a huge stress off of me to try to do it myself. I am so happy with my wedding day makeup! I received a ton of compliments on how flawless my face looked all day and even late into the night thanks to Berit's perfect airbrush and makeup application, and touch ups.

Berit worked with me to create two looks - a glowing, natural look for our outdoor ceremony, and a sophisticated more dramatic look for our evening indoor reception. She is a true professional and works closely with you with every detail until you are completely happy with how you look.

I highly recommend opting for one of her all-day packages so you get the benefit of makeup and touch ups for everyone in your bridal party throughout the day. It's totally worth it - you will love how you look in all your wedding photos!
