Sarah is truly a talented hair and makeup artist- most importantly, she listens to what you want and is able to make it happen. Sarah made myself and my bridesmaids all look so flawless on my big day and not just made-up. We loved Sarah!!

Sarah Ren went above and beyond! She was a pleasure to work with. She did my hair and make up (bride), my two sisters, mom, mother in law, and sister in law! She was so professional with each one, and took the time to take into account each request of ours and make us look FLAWLESS! So glad Sarah was a part of our day

Sarah is a miracle worker. I don't know how she does it but she does- and with such humor and grace! We had a small wedding where everyone got their hair and makeup done, which was a first time experience for quite a few. Sarah was patient, really listened to their comments and concerns, and answered questions- lots and lots of questions. Everyone was just fascinated by how she worked her magic. I think at brunch the next day we talked more about the hair and makeup than the wedding itself 😂. My look turned out even better than how I had imagined it (definitely recommend the airbrush). Being an overwhelmed bride who already deals with anxiety to begin with, Sarah was so down-to-earth and easy to be around. Thank you for everything!

Sarah is the BEST

There are so many AMAZING things I could say about Sarah! From our first trial to day of execution she was flawless. I was one of those brides who had zero idea what she wanted for her hair. I honestly, didn't know until the day of. My hair was perfect and my makeup stayed true to who I am. Through rain, wind, tears and laughter my hair and makeup looked just as perfect at the end of the night as it did when the day began. I am so grateful to have found an artist who made me feel like the best version of myself!

I booked Sarah as my MUA without any hesitations. I didn’t even bother to do a bridal trial because SHE IS THAT GOOD! On the wedding day I showed her a picture and I love how she also gave me suggestions. I couldn’t be happier with the result! My MOH and my mother also got their makeup done and they looked flawless without the cakey look. If you’re still searching for a MUA you can end your search now and book Sarah!

Not only did Sarah do a fabulous job on my bridesmaids and my hair + makeup - she was so quick. It definitely made the morning of the wedding go so well, and she was a pleasure to spend that time with. I would highly recommend Sarah to any bride! She does a fantastic job!

I met Sarah Ren at the Weddings in Woodinville show. I liked her friendly personality, so I scheduled a hair and makeup trial with her. I was very pleased with the results, so I hired Sarah to do wedding day hair and makeup for me, my groom, and my maid of honor. Everyone was happy with how things turned out and I would definitely recommend her to other brides!

There are a lot of makeup artists in Seattle, but here are the reasons why I chose Sarah Ren:

1. She has a ton of experience. She’s been doing professional makeup for over ten years. Besides running her own business, she’s also worked for MAC and NARS cosmetics. She is good at doing makeup for people with all types of skin tones. (I’m Asian, so that was really important to me).

2. She makes people look natural. I usually don’t wear a lot of makeup, so I definitely didn’t want something heavy. She has some great “before” and “after” photos of real brides on her Facebook page. (Most other vendors only show the “after” photos).

3. She provides services for men. She did hair, skincare, and light makeup for my groom. This ensured that both of us looked our best for the wedding photos. (Most other vendors don’t do anything for the groom or they only offer very limited services).

4. She does everything on location. She did my hair/makeup trial at my house and she came to our hotel rooms for the wedding day hair/makeup. It was so nice to have the trial done at my home because we did our engagement photos at a nearby park immediately afterwards. (Some other vendors make you go to their studio for the hair/makeup trials).

5. She’s fun to be around. Sarah is really easy to talk to. She’s the perfect person you want to hang out with when you are getting ready for your wedding!

I asked for traditional makeup, but Sarah also offers airbrush makeup if you are interested in that.

I found Sarah a week before my wedding, when my previous hair and makeup company let me down in ways that I couldn't quite recover from. She had a last minute cancellation and worked with me to make everything come together. Sarah did hair and makeup for myself, my 4 bridesmaids, and two moms, and everyone was SUPER impressed and happy with her work! I felt pampered, and my bridesmaids looked like themselves, but more glamorous. We all got so many compliments! You can trust Sarah for reliable, professional, high quality makeup and hair for your big day!

Sarah is a joy to work with! She's very talented- just show her a picture of the hair and makeup you want and she can create your vision. She did the hair and makeup for my wedding and for the bridal party. Everyone was very happy with her services. I highly recommend her.

I was absolutely in LOVE with my wedding makeup! I felt like myself but more elegant! Sarah is amazing and is really attentive to how you want to look and feel. If you're like me, I'm not very good with makeup and don't wear too much on a day-to-day basis, Sarah tailors it so that you still feel comfortable in your skin on your big day! I couldn't have asked for a more awesome makeup artist. I highly recommend booking a trial with her, you really get to experience her work and test out your look before your big day so your not left wondering! Definitely book her, you wont regret it!

Sarah is amazing! First I booked her for my wedding, and not only did she make me feel beautiful and confident, but her professionalism and friendly attitude really made my day. Then I asked her to come back and teach me what she did! She is an excellent teacher, she shows you what products, shades and tools work best with what look you want and your skin type. The lesson was interactive, where she did one side of my face, while I did practiced the other, showing me all the techniques for different kinds of makeup. She answered all my questions and wrote down all the steps and products she used and suggested. I've recommended her to all my family and friends. She is extremely talented! I highly recommend Sarah for any event you have!

Sarah is truly amazing at what she does. Not only did she do a fantastic job for my engagement shoot, but she made me feel like the most beautiful bride on my wedding day. She also did a great job doing my mother's, sister, and a couple of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup as well. Because I don't wear any makeup at all and I have sensitive skin, I was very unsure of what I wanted but Sarah was great when it came to recommendations. She knows what she's talking about so I just let her do her magic. Airbrush makeup is heaven! I highly recommend it =) Feels like nothing on your face and stays on ALL DAY! Sarah is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I kept making changes up until the day of the wedding but she was VERY patient with me and super accommodating and for that I am truly thankful. I hope to work with her again for future special occasions.

Sarah Ren provided her "preview" makeup on the same day as my bridal photoshoot so that my makeup would look amazing all the way through my photos. My fiance literally turned pink when he saw me all done up like a princess; she did an amazing job of making me look lovely without taking away who I was. I still look like me, which is always a challenge when someone else is doing your makeup.

She was a complete treat to work with, exceptionally professional and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who asks. <3

Sarah is AMAZING! I received sooooo many compliments on my wedding day, and felt absolutely flawless and beautiful with the airbrush make up she did on me! Also, Sarah was willing to commute to my residence to do my make up the morning of my wedding, which made my wedding day all the more seamless. Sarah is very professional and personable as well! She works very efficient and is thoughtful in providing options for the bride to choose from (i.e. different eyelashes to choose from). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sarah Ren for any make up needs. Sarah is the best! We rented a condo right next to our venue and it was so convenient to have her come to us. She did the hair & make-up for my mom, best friend, and myself. We all loved it! My mom felt like a movie star and I could not get over how beautiful I looked. Everyone gave me compliments all night long. I was so sad to take it off at bedtime. Nothing beats getting pampered on your big day at a location of your choice! I had a getaway wedding in the cascades--quite a hike from her home location--and Sarah was on site and ready to go on the morning of my wedding without a single problem! Sarah has incredible talent with makeup artistry and hairstyling, I will definitely be recommending her to all of my brides-to-be, as well as young women who may be interested for prom or other activities. I loved how personable Sarah was as well. She was very easy going and enjoyable to talk to, which made getting ready that much more relaxing for my bridesmaids and I! From the moment we did a trial run in her house to the moment I left the hotel prep room for the wedding, Sarah fit in like another one of the girls. Professional, efficient, and genuinely kind, Sarah completed air-brush make-up and hair for myself and my four bridesmaids without breaking a sweat. The make-up and hair looked perfect from the first look to the last dance, capturing exactly what I was looking for: natural and romantic, with a touch of glam. I can't thank her enough for her expertise and attention to detail, even providing me with some blotting papers, q-tips, and bobby pins to go! Highly recommended!

I worked with Sarah on a styled shoot at Treehouse Point at the end of July and she did an amazing job! She took our vision for the shoot and came up with hair and make-up ideas that completely elevated our ideas. Her look was fresh, modern, and had the perfect pop of color that perfectly complimented the color pallet of the shoot. It photographed amazingly!

I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone getting married in the Seattle area!

This is long overdue! I hired Sarah to do my bridal makeup and my bridal party's makeup for my wedding last August 2014. We scheduled my makeup trial the same day as my bridal shower so I could be all glammed up! Sarah listened to exactly what I wanted and was open to trying out different things. I don't wear makeup very often and she had lots of different suggestions. If there was something I didn't love, she made sure to fix it without hesitation. I ended up changing my mind about colors I wanted to use closer to the wedding so we scheduled another trial the same day as our wedding rehearsal and Sarah did my makeup perfectly. The morning of our wedding, she arrived at my hotel room promptly as scheduled and got started on my bridesmaids right away. All of my ladies looked absolutely beautiful and they all LOVED their makeup! My wedding makeup was exactly how I wanted. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my pictures looked amazing. I still hire Sarah to this day to do my makeup for special events. My mother-in-law has also adopted her as her makeup artist and she is also doing my makeup for my upcoming maternity shoot! Thank you Sarah for not only making me look beautiful but also making me feel beautiful each time you work your magic!

Sarah did my make recently, for my cousins wedding. I was very pleased with the outcome. She knew exactly how to contour for my face shape, and most importantly, capture what will look good on camera.

My makeup lasted throughout the entire day. Even my lashes, were still in tact by the end of the night. I would highly recommend Sarah, but be aware plan in advance, as she books up quick!

If you want a girl who knows what she is doing, go with Sarah Ren. Not only is she very talented, but her personality makes her so much fun to work with! We had a photo shoot for a jewelry line and used 3 models. I had a few looks in mind and asked Sarah for her professional opinion. She was super sweet and understood exactly what I was asking for while adding in what she knew would complete the looks. I have worked with quite a few makeup artists, but will continue on with Sarah. The models looked stunning in person and on camera! I could not have asked for a better experience. Sarah was so much fun to work with. I would highly recommend Sarah, for any occassion!

I had Sarah do my hair and makeup for my wedding along with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked beautiful! I am so happy with the quality of work she did, even on an extremely hot day in the sun my makeup stayed put! I scheduled Sarah 3 weeks in advance and she was so helpful through the whole thing and prompt. I debated whether I was going to get my make up done or not since we were just going to the court house but decided last minute that I didn't want to worry about doing my own make up. She was so sweet and gave me the perfect look even though I was unsure what I wanted so I didn't give her much of an idea of what I wanted but we talked and when she was done I was in love with my face! It lasted all day even through walking in the rain! I honestly didn't even want to take my make up off at the end of the night haha. Thank you again Sarah for making me feel beautiful on such a special day of my life.

Sarah has done my makeup a number of times from a night out with the girls to my own birthday event, and each time I LOVE her work! So, why not have her do my makeup as well for a wedding, as a wedding guest and 3 of the bridesmaids? :D She's always easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and explains everything she's doing as she applies makeup. She also takes the time to hear out what it is that you want and have it done EXACTLY the way you want it and also offers to make suggestions for greater results. Very flexible as well, we had very last minute additions and she was willing to accommodate them and did just so. The best part is that she can do hair too! Each bridesmaid she did makeup on and myself received lots of compliments! I highly recommend her to everyone, you won't be disappointed :)

I am so lucky I found Sarah Ren after my first makeup artist backed out on me! She did an amazing job on my makeup on my wedding day and also did my maid of honor's makeup. I got so many compliments thanks to Sarah! What I like about Sarah is that she is very quick but does an amazing job. She is also very quick to response to emails and punctual! She is very talented because she is one of the few makeup artists that is able to do hair too! I did not use her for hair but I have seen her pictures online and they are very nice. Her rates are very reasonable too! She will definitely work with you to give you the look you want! My bridemaids and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sarah! She did an amazing job on all of our makeup. Some of my bridemaids have been in other weddings and they all said that Sarah by far has done the best job. Sarah was so flexible that she did my makeup trial last minute for my engagement photos. We took our photos in October so the weather was hit or miss in Seattle so when a nice day came up she was ready to go. I did a second make up trail a few days before my wedding as well and as always, Sarah was ready and willing. I would recommend booking as early as possible as Sarah is getting extremly popular and her schedule is getting full fast. Many brides wait until the last minute to finalize make up details but I booked Sarah over a year in advance.

I would highly recommend Sarah to my friends and all future brides. She was referred to me by a friend for make up services. Her work is fantastic, as you would see for yourself during your trial. I was most impressed with her professionalism and work ethic. She is extremely organized and efficient: the number of emails we sent was minimal, as she makes it very clear her rates, availability, etc. This made the wedding planning process much easier. On the wedding day, she showed up early and was finished setting up by my bridal party's arrival time. She finished the makeup for myself and 4 bridesmaids in 3 hours, the time allotted for her. She worked very well with the hairstylist as well. In addition, her friendly and calm demeanor is much appreciated on the wedding day. Again, I would highly recommend Sarah for your make up needs.

Sarah was absolutely amazing!! In planning the wedding she was very responsive and super flexible. She was even willing to entertain a last minute location change. When she arrived the morning of my wedding she was very friendly, but also very calm. She blended right in with the bridesmaids and myself, almost like having another friend around! I really appreciated that she was open to doing what we asked, but also provided suggestions when we needed hair and make-up ideas. It was a perfect balance. Sarah did last minute hair and make-up touchups for me on the way out the door as well, which was awesome because it was 80 degrees outside! Both my hair and make-up turned out amazingly, and my bridesmaids (who just had their hair done) looked beautiful as well. I highly recommend Sarah for wedding hair and make-up, she was phenomenal.

I couldn't have asked for a better make-up artist! From the initial consultation to the BIG day, Sarah was SO attentive and responsive to my wedding-day beauty needs/wishes. I was nervous about how bridal makeup could make me look like a completely different person, but Sarah accomplished the natural, romantic look I was hoping for. I asked Sarah to help with a product photoshoot of mine. The shoot included 3 ladies that needed full faces. She corresponded with me very quickly and on the day of the shoot she came promptly on time. She started whipping out her make up box and started settitng up as soon as she got there. She was quick and she made the ladies looked beautiful with a natural touch. She cleaned and sanitized everything right after she was done with each person. I'm so glad I was able to have Sarah beautify me for my wedding! I received so many compliments I couldn't be any happier with the results. It was a pleasure doing business with Sarah! I've known her for quite some time now and we've never had a business relationship but she was very professional and efficient. She knew what she was doing but wasn't over powering. As a makeup professional she didn't just do it her way she made sure she met my expectations and listened to what I wanted. I felt very much included in the process. She also gave me some recommendations for touch ups and color choices. She also did my hair and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it! She was willing to redo it if it wasn't what I wanted but the first turnout was perfection. I was a bit worried that I wasn't going to have enough time to get ready so I had to do a last minute time change and Sarah was so accommodating and understanding she seen me an hour earlier! Sarah Ren did an Amazing Job. I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding. She was on time, prompt, and professional. I appreciated the fact that she took my concerns into account and really listened to me throughout the trial makeup session and on the actual day of the wedding. My entire wedding party was extremely impressed with her work. I hired Sarah to do bridal makeup and hair for my sister who was moving here from out of town. Simply put, her work was outstanding!! She was very professional and detailed and was very easy to work with. It was such a pleasure working with Sarah. She did my makeup and hair along with the makeup for my MOH, my mother and mother in law. She took the time to find out what type of look I envisioned and during the trial she made sure that I was happy with the look she created. Sarah was very professional and responsive through all our correspondence and made it so that I was comfortable working with her even before we met in person. I loved that she is mobile and came to my house for both the trial and the day of the wedding to do my hair and makeup. It was also nice that she could do both makeup and hair so I could work with one person for everything. I would recommend Sarah to any bride who wants to have a worry free day when it comes to their makeup and hair.

Sarah Ren is absolutely amazing! My sister and I had a makeup trial run with Sarah and I knew immediately I wanted her to provide makeup services to my entire bridal party! Fortunately Sarah was available on my wedding day and was flexible and willing to provide on-site services at my wedding venue. Sarah is super personable, professional, and friendly and has an incredible sense of meticulous style. Sarah has an innate ability to understand exactly what color palettes, blends, contours, etc. will enhance your unique beauty as well as work perfectly for the time of day of your wedding and chosen color scheme! Our pictures turned out gorgeous and we definitely thank Sarah for helping define everyone’s individual glamour! Sarah was so awesome to work with. She was very relaxed even with all the chaos going on around her. She made me feel confident that everything would be okay. Sarah did such a great job with my makeup on my wedding day. I didn't feel like I was overdone, it was just perfect. My bridesmaids also had their makeup done as well and they looked fabulous. Sarah is very professional, but easy going at the same time. She does a great job of making you feel comfortable and lets you know what she is doing or applying on your face as she's works on you. She'll answer any questions you might have concerning make up products or how to apply them. I truly appreciated her flexibility and commitment. For my special day, I couldn't have picked a better makeup artist! Starting with the consultation, Sarah was extremely professional and took the time to make sure that my makeup enhanced my beauty. She took pictures and took notes on what I liked and didn't like. We made adjustments and she didn't finish until I was completely satisfied with my wedding look!

Not only did I love my makeup the day of the wedding but she did a excellent job with my 3 bridesmaids and my mom. Sarah's skills are amazing and I appreciated the fact that she took her time with me and everyone in my bridal party. She is a true professional and I am so happy that she was there to support me on my wedding day!

Sarah is awesome! I had a 2 day wedding and she did the make-up for both days and my bachelorette party. I had vastly different looks for each day and she made me look beautiful in every one. (For the record I had a smoky eye for one day and a retro 50's look for the other.) It was really nice having someone come to me instead of having to travel to a salon to get my make-up applied. She has a bubbly personality and is willing to explain what she is doing as she goes along. I got some great make-up tips that I now use all the time! The cost was very reasonable and she even gave us a discount because we hired her for 2 days. I had such a great experience that I will be using her every time I have a special occasion.

Sarah was absolutely amazing!!!
We got ready and my make up was done at 8am.... it looked all fresh all day! At 11pm, I still had a perfect make up. I do not have a flawless skin but it sure looked that way on the pictures.
I highly recommend Sarah... all my 6 bridesmaid as well as my mom looked great!

If you're looking to feel confident and beautiful on your wedding day, then Sarah is the girl for you. I had only a few weeks to find someone to do my hair on my wedding day and I was getting no where with a lot of them not responding to my inquiries or just being overly expensive. A friend had recommended Sarah to me and I contacted her right away. She immediately responded to me and with professionalism asked me what I was looking for and what types of services I needed as well as my wedding party. I had done a trial run with her and was very impressed with her work. I wanted my hair down with soft curls, pinned to the side, with LOTS OF VOLUME and she did just that. The day of my wedding, Sarah arrived just in time and I wanted her to do the same exact thing, but to have the "Farrah Fawcett" look in the front with my hair feathered out away from my face. I had always attempted this on my own, but could never get it the way I wanted. I was also a bit skeptical about asking her to do it since we had not done it at the trial run. After Sarah was done, I looked in the mirror and it was perfect! It was exactly what I had imagined it to be and I was just satisfied with how it turned out. I have had experience with hairstylists just spraying all this hairspray in my hair, giving that "helmet" look that looks and feels hard, however, Sarah created very soft looking curls that looked and felt natural. She was also able to volumize my very fine, asian hair which has ALWAYS been a struggle! She listened to what I said and I could not have been happier. My curls had lasted the entire day as well as the volume for more than 12 hours! Not only is Sarah amazing at what she does, but she is very personable and professional. She always looks in the best interest for her customers and I appreciate everything she had done. I HIGHLY recommend Sarah for her services!

I had a great experience working with Sarah as my MUA for my music video shoot. She was very professional and showed up with an impressive array of MAC makeup supplies. Not only was she skillful with her artistry but she was very good at communicating with me to understand what direction to go with each look. We did 2 different looks for the shoot--one with neutral eyes and red lips and the other a little more playful and bold with brighter colors. Both looks turned out better than I expected and I was very satisfied with her work. Sarah also kept an eye out during the shoot and made sure I got touched up when necessary. I really appreciated that since it helped me stay focused on the shoot and not worry about my makeup. I could tell Sarah is passionate for what she does and it's always a great experience working with someone who loves doing what they do. Thanks Sarah!

She did such a great job on everyone for my wedding! She did 2 moms, 5 bridesmaids and me and everyone looked amazing! Sarah did an AMAZING job on everyone she worked on! She is pricey, but definitely worth it. I felt more beautiful than ever in my life (which is how it should be) and everyone's makeup was flawless. She did a great job of catering each person's makeup to specifically what they wanted (glamorous, natural, etc...).

Great makeup artist! She listened to all my requests and made everyone look great the day of the wedding. Sometimes it took a while to get a response via email, but she answered all my questions very professionally. The rates were a little pricey, but the work was amazing!

It actually took me a long time to find a makeup artist I really liked. Most of the makeup artists I found made their clients look fake or kind of trashy and as someone who doesn't really wear much makeup, I really just wanted to look like a flawless version of myself. Finally when I found Sarah and I saw the pictures of her clients I knew she would be a great makeup artist. She was a little more expensive than I had wanted to pay, but she was so good at everything that I was willing to pay above my budget to have her do my makeup for my wedding.
Sarah was super professional the entire time. She did my trial makeup run for my engagement pictures and they looked wonderful and I looked fantastic. Getting ready for our wedding, Sarah was quick and professional and all of the bridesmaids looked amazing and our pictures were incredible. Sarah was the best makeup artist we could have hired and I never worried about how I looked on the day of my wedding thanks to Sarah's work.

Sarah did a amazing job on my bridal party and my makeup. When I had my trial makeup done it looked better than on my wedding day though. It still was great but she did my eye shadow more smoky on trial run. She is a very sweet person.

Sarah Ren was highly recommended to me by a previous bride and I can see why. Along with being very personable and professional, she was very helpful in her suggestions to a bride who didn't know a whole lot about make-up. For the bride who doesn't usually wear a lot of make-up on a day-to-day basis and gears towards a more "natural look," Sarah will give you different options that play to that. I felt comfortable with the choices she helped me make, and I was happy with the result! She is talented in her craft, and I would recommend her services to future brides.

I was very impressed with my make-up on my wedding day. Once I saw what Sarah did for my bridesmaids (which looked fantastic), I was not worried at all about my makeup and what she would create for me. I also did a trial with Sarah with traditional makeup but chose later on to do airbrush makeup and I'm SO glad I did! It looked fantastic and showed up SO good in photos! Her travel fee was relatively steep but overall I was very happy with my makeup! Definitely would recommend!

Sarah was great! I would definitely recommend her for brides looking for the total package. My makeup and hair lasted the whole event and long into the night at my reception. My bridesmaids all looked their personal best but we all looked cohesive. She was able to style multiple different hair and skin times to make everyone so beautiful.

I liked Sarah as a person- she was very professional and personable the entire morning we were getting ready (despite having to be there at 5:30am). Unfortunately, the quality of the service was not as good as I was hoping. My maid of honor was supposed to have her hair curled and put half-up, however when time ran short she ended up putting it up herself. As it was, we ended up nearly half an hour late to the limo- I was assured that getting out on time would not be a problem and she didn't need an assistant prior to the event.

My make-up turned out really well- I had multiple compliments on it and it lasted through the entire evening without touching up anything except my lipstick. The pictures I have so far look really excellent, and I have her to thank for that part.

Lastly, my hair was a bit of a mess. When I did my trial, it did not turn out at all like the picture so I asked to change it completely to side-swept and down for the wedding. Sarah was very flexible with the change, however it did not turn out at all. My sister and two bridesmaids ended up fixing it for me when we got to the venue and it looked miles better with just some more time and care. They took it out entirely, re-curled it, and redid the braid in the back.

All in all, I went with Sarah because her work looked less "super structured" like a lot of bridal salons. I wish it hadn't cost me the peace of mind that having to redo my hair did, though.
