  More than 5 stars if I could

  Tara and her team of Make Up Therapy are incredible. Tara has a calm nature, she brings your best features out when in the make up chair without you feeling over done. I walked into my wedding day confident, knowing that I was shinning from the inside out, and my makeup and hair matched what I was feeling on the inside, on cloud 9.
  Tara is so present in the moment, made all my bridesmaids feel comfortable and look amazing with no feeling overdone and a look that lasted all night.
  Her professionalism and availability to answer questions about your lip color so reapplication, sharing her little secrets about tips and tricks throughout the night and setting powder. From a second look change none of my makeup came off on my gown and I looked fresh all night. HIRE HER AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

  Can I give more than 5 stars?? Highly recommend!!

  Our florist, Jackie from Lotus & Lily, recommended Tara from Make-up Therapy for wedding hair and make-up after several trials with other hair and make-up artists weren’t doing it for me. I had a phone consultation with Tara and I just knew right away she was going to nail it. She had such a great personality, was so professional, and asked me such great questions to make sure she determined the look I was going for before I even booked the trial. Tara's approach was like no other studio I booked with previously for wedding trials. She actually took the time to get to know me on the call without even knowing whether I was going to book the trial. All other places just reserved the trials either online or through an email. Tara even moved her flight for a trip she was supposed to take so she could accommodate my trial and wedding.
  
  Tara takes the time to study your features and makes positive recommendations and is truly an artist. She didn’t make me look like I had too much makeup on like others I trialed. Her hair stylist was also super professional and made such great suggestions based on different styles you show her you like. She even recommended a great shop in Los Angeles for the best hair extensions that perfectly matched my hair and kept my curls lasting all night.
  
  Tara and one of her senior hair stylist also made my family members look beautiful and they were all so happy with their artistry! I wish I could have Tara do my makeup every day! Thank you thank you thank you, Tara, for making me look beautiful on my special day!!

  Highly Recommend - a great experience

  I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Make-Up Therapy. Tara is so sincerely kind and her entire team is professional, talented, helpful and fun to work with on your special day. Kaya, Studio Manager, was highly organized and responsive. Viktoriya and Mandy, Senior Artists, made me look and feel my very best for the wedding. I’ve never felt more beautiful or confident, all while put entirely at ease during the getting-ready portion of the day. They worked ahead of schedule, even with 10 women to make up. I would highly recommend booking Make-Up Therapy for any special occasion or wedding.

  Tara and her team deserve all the stars.
  She answered every message and call so fast.
  She made time to do several trials so we can work out a look, because I was nervous about it.
  Tara is super organized and was always on time.
  
  What I learned was most important is that even though I am not someone who wears tons of makeup or feels comfortable as the center of attention, even though I was super stressed and nervous; on the day of my wedding I felt so beautiful. That's really the most important part. I smiled freely and felt happy because I trusted them and their work. They didn't make me look artificial, but I still looked and felt glamorous. It was dramatic without being over the top.
  
  Definitely the next time I need my hair and makeup done, I am calling Tara.
  
  Also, I should mention that I was really concerned with finding a team for all 9 of my friends and myself. We are different shades of Caucasian, Middle Eastern, Latina and African American and I was sincerely worried that I wouldn't be able to find a team that could suit all our needs, but Tara's team did it.
  
  I have mad curly hair. Rarely can hairstylist handle it. Marisa did my hair once, I gave her a couple of notes and then she blew it out of the ballpark on my wedding day. It was exactly as I had imagined and she had enough of an eye to keep all of my hair in balance with my face and body (small body, big hair).
  
  I'm so grateful to Tara and her team.

  Fabulous! Tara is fantastic and so is her beauty team! We all loved our hair and makeup and had so much fun getting all dolled up!
  Marissa did an amazing job with everyone's hair and Rachel made us all look beautiful! They were both so flexible and accommodating with each of our requests (they were able to replicate both hair and makeup from pics the girls had brought)
  Tara is an absolute delight to work with and an exceptional makeup artist! She had previously done my makeup when I was a bridesmaid at my good friend's wedding and I never looked so good! She made every girl look amazing but still stayed true our looks and styles!
  She is so fun, flexible and a joy to work with!
  Thanks for making my day so fun Tara!
