Excellent Wedding + Engagement Photographers!

M2 Photography captured both our engagement and wedding photos, and the results were stunning. Friends and family mentioned how beautiful the shots were — and how naturally they captured who we are as a couple.

Melissa and Michael are warm, funny, and genuinely easy to be around, which made all the difference. Feeling comfortable with your photographers is everything, given they’re around for more intimate parts of the day like getting-ready photos. We’ve never done professional photos and they guided us well with games and pose suggestions (without making it awkward) which made the whole experience a fun memory to look back on. They nailed capturing relaxed posed shots to family portraits to candid moments.

Absolutely the best!!

The M2/Stagger team are truly one in a million and we can’t say enough wonderful things about them. We knew they were wonderful from our initial phone call/meeting, and they were just as awesome in person as we suspected they would be. We are not naturals in front of a camera, but the whole team just made us feel comfortable. Our wedding day was rainy, so our first look shots weren’t in the original/planned location - however, they were able to seamlessly pivot to a new location and the photos are stunning - we are now so glad there was rain! The whole team was present, but not distracting, at the event, and seemed to blend in seamlessly with the guests. We have our teaser photos and they are absolutely gorgeous and capture exactly what we had hoped they would. They sent helpful and thoughtful surveys, including must have shots (but also included many more people when we changed our minds day of!). Truly, would love them to capture every important (and maybe inconsequential) event in our lives moving forward!

Michael, Melissa and their whole team are amazing to work with. From our first time speaking with them we knew that we wanted to work with M2 and Stagger. You can just tell that they are genuine people and care about each couple that they work with! Michael and Melissa made us feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Best photographers in the business!

Wow- we were left speechless looking through all of our amazing wedding photos. We hired M2 very quickly after getting engaged, and ended up hiring one of their associates, Audrey, to do our engagement and wedding photos. It was honestly one of the best decisions we made! Audrey is talented beyond words and so kind and professional. On top of that, all of the photos M2 produces are beautifully edited so that we have the same cohesive look and feel with our engagement and wedding photos, which I love! Amrit was our second shooter on our wedding day and was also a joy to work with, and an incredibly talented photographer. M2 clearly hires the best in the business! Photos were one of the things we really wanted to invest in so we could always remember our special day, and we truly couldn't be happier with Melissa's M2 team and the photos they produced for us!

I also wanted to note that we had to reschedule our wedding and engagement shoot due to the pandemic and they were extremely understanding and helpful!

Absolutely Phenomenal!

Michael and Melissa are hands down the best.
They are amazing people, but besides that their work is absolutely PHENOMENAL.
Honestly, look nowhere else for photography when it comes to any of your events!
JUST BOOK THEM NOW! Their product is outstanding and it always exceeds any expectations.
We did look at other photographers when planning for our wedding, but were immediately drawn to them, and they came recommended by so many other people including vendors. The photos are timeless and just beautiful. They are both so fun to be around and working with a couple for your wedding is just so fun. They have amazing personalities and make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Everything just feels so fun and nothing feels staged.
We worked with them for our engagement/adventure shoot, wedding one (COVID, backyard wedding) and our postponed wedding two (which was multiple events). They captured literally every aspect perfectly. Our big wedding was 15 plus hours of photography, and they were on the ball, moving with us, capturing everything at every second. They were so patient when it came to postponing and rescheduling/adjusting based on what our needs were.
We have received endless compliments on our photos and we can honestly not stop looking at them.
We truly cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our day special and capture everything so perfectly.

Additionally, their entire team is so easy to work with.
We also used Stagger films for videography, poser photobooth for our photobooth, and we used them for our album. We worked with different people for all of these services, and everyone is just so nice and kind, with spectacular end results.

Hire M2 - You will not regret it!

Melissa and Michael are the best of the best. They make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera so you end up getting unbelievable photos that capture all of the best emotions from your big day. My husband and I were so worried that we would look and feel awkward taking our photos, but they are so good at what they do that you forget you are even taking pictures. They are amazing people and even better photographers!

The absolute best

We cannot say enough amazing things about Melissa and Michael with M2 Photography. this was one of, if not the most important decisions for our wedding and one of the first decisions we made while planning.
the style and beauty of the photos were outstanding - above and beyond expectations. The photos are timeless and will remind us for years to come of our beautiful day. But what was such a pleasant surprise was meeting and working with Michael and Melissa.
With so many changes and uncertainties surrounding a Covid wedding, Michael and Melissa worked with us and accommodated all changes. Once we got to meet them the real fun began. While we are naturally awkward people, Michael and Melissa made us laugh and cry and captured moments we didnt even realize happened. They listened to the types of photos we wanted and kept the vibe exactly how we wanted it to be. The best out there

Honestly- where do I begin!? Finding Melissa & Michael from M2 was one of the best things we did throughout the wedding planning process.

From day one, they were genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple, understand who we are and how to capture our love on our wedding day. We had TWO engagement shoots, 3 postponed weddings, and finally got to have our dream day on 4/22/21. Melissa & Michael handled each change with patience and grace, and were there for support during a really stressful time, while it was equally as stressful for them as wedding photographers.

Aside from them being wonderful humans, their work is unmatched. We could tell that from doing our research, but when we got our first engagement shoot gallery back we were thrilled. What they capture is not staged or forced, it's pure and real, which is what we were looking for from the beginning.

OUR WEDDING PHOTOS- are quite literally out of a magazine. We have looked at our gallery so many times and you can feel the love that was shared on our special day. To us, that was so important. The day goes by so fast, and it meant a lot for us to have pictures that could bring you back to the day and feel the love surrounding us. Our entire bridal party and family felt so comfortable with M2, and they really made our day and our photos fun. I truthfully love every single photo from our wedding day.

Amazing Photographers

This past September, my wife and I had the pleasure of working is Erica and David from M2. They were responsive, incredibly professional and personable.
On our wedding day, we had a fairly compressed timeline, only having about 30 minutes for getting ready, getting individual shots and doing our first look. However, Erica and David were able to capture some amazing photos in that time. During that small window of time, they helped us feel at ease in front of the camera, allowing us to really settle into our big day. They were on top of where they wanted to capture us, having no hesitation of where to guide us as we moved from scene to scene. They gave easy instruction for poses and welcomed humor for an easy smile.

After the ceremony, they easily handled family photos, as well as any requests off the tops of our head. As the evening progressed, they maintained an impressive low profile, capturing great moments while never being in the way. They were also easy to find if we wanted a quick photo somewhere.
Overall, we’re incredibly thankful to have worked with M2. They captured our wedding day beautifully, and looking through the photos, we’re able to relive that special day. If you are looking for a low stress, high quality group to work with, look no further!

Book. Them. Now!

Where to even begin with how amazing M2 is?! Five minutes into meeting Melissa and Michael via Skype for our initial consult (April of 2019), my husband and I knew booking them as our wedding photographers was non-negotiable -- the duo is so down-to-earth, supportive, charismatic, and energizing. We had a blast shooting our engagement pics with them that August, and our photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. When COVID-19 hit and our June 2020 wedding got postponed to August and then again to July 2021, Melissa and Michael worked with us to ensure that (1) they'd make our new dates work and (2) our wedding-related stress levels were basically nonexistent. I remember how Melissa didn't hesitate to chat on the phone with me when I was really unsure/nervous about postponing to next year, and even checked in via text multiple times afterwards just to show support. And when my husband and I decided to host a small ceremony with our closest friends and family members this summer (because LOVE ISN'T CANCELLED GD IT!), we immediately reached out to Melissa and Michael to have them photograph this additional, intimate event. We couldn't be luckier -- or more honored -- to have Melissa and Michael of M2 as our wedding photographers this summer AND next summer at our OG wedding/wedding part 2. Not only are their shots stunning, but their approach is so people-centered that they remind you what really matters: that you love your partner, that they love you back, and that joy can be co-created, even in the hardest of times. Amazing Experience from Start to Finish

My husband and I were married in December and we used one of M2’s associate photographers, Joy, for our wedding. Our whole experience with M2 was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends. From the very beginning, Joy reached out and made every effort to “get to know us” prior to our engagement shoot. This really helped to make us feel more comfortable with her at the shoot. Once we realized how great she was to work with, we were put at ease for our wedding day. A few weeks prior to the big day, I received a questionnaire that I so appreciated regarding “must have” shots. Joy also called several times to finalize a timeline for the day regarding photo shoots, which was extremely helpful! When the wedding day arrived, things went so smoothly and even when our timing was off by 15 minutes or so, Joy remained completely calm and collected which helped put my mind at ease. A few weeks after the wedding, I received a teaser and was absolutely blown away with the photos. Words can’t describe how I felt when I opened the file to see these beautiful images that perfectly captured our special day. I greatly appreciated the communication that remained even after the wedding, when Melissa emailed me to let me know that the teaser would be coming my way. When I asked her if she could include a photo of me with my mom and sister since my mom wanted to use a photo on her New Year card, she replied almost instantly stating it was no problem and she would include it! I highly recommend M2 and/or M2 associates for anyone who is looking for highly professional individuals who produce extremely talented work. Thank you, M2 and Joy, for providing us with a wonderful experience!

Hands down best decision besides the man I was marrying lol

Where to even begin with Melissa, Michael, & the rest of their team.... They instantly make you feel comfortable and it's like you forget that there is a camera present! As a couple getting married for the first time (like most) we didn't know what to ask when we sat down with them for our initial meeting... that didn't matter! They basically helped us from start to finish... even if it did not have to do with photography ... they had a referral for whatever came up while planning our big day! They even helped us with our wedding day schedule so we were able to enjoy every bit of it while making sure we got every shot we asked for plus some. Getting our photos back was incredible, we got some portrait style ones but our favorites were the candid ones where you could just feel how much fun people were having. M2 is passionate about what they do and it shows. For all the brides & grooms out there remember the only thing you will have from your special day are the photos so make sure you're in great hands... aka just go with M2!

Not only the best pictures but an incredible experince

Melissa and Michael were everything we were hoping for as wedding photographers, and more! Their personalities meshed with ours in such a way that we knew from the start we wanted to work with them. This continued throughout our engagement shoot and especially our wedding day as they not only put us at ease but made it so fun! We love M2 so much!!

After Skyping with Melissa and Michael when on the search for our wedding day photographers it wasn’t even a question when we decided to go with M2 Photography (and ultimately Stagger Films for videography). They had us laughing from day one and we considered them “friendors” rather than vendors. Melissa and Michael were so personable and caring during the entire process up and through our special day. From our welcome package to a card the week of our wedding to help keep us at ease- we truly felt so lucky to have them on our team. M2 was extremely responsive and always willing to answer any questions and address any concerns that we had along the way. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly and although there was a timeline- no pressure was ever felt from our photography and videography team. They made us feel so comfortable from our adventure shoot to our wedding day; because let’s be honest some pictures can just be awkward-though it never felt that way with this team. Thoughtful and beautiful experience

When my husband and I decided to get married in Philly, I immediately knew M2 was my dream photographer. I had seen Michael and Melissa shoot my friend's wedding, and was so touched by how personable, genuine, and thoughtful they were in how they approached their couples. I watched how beautifully they captured big and small moments and were able to evoke emotion from their couples and bridal parties with thoughtful questions and prompts. I appreciated the richness in the quality of the finished photos.

Working with Joy for our October wedding was awesome. She was sweet and accommodating during our E-session and made us feel very comfortable and natural in front of the camera. When it came to our large Indian wedding, she listened well and understood what we wanted captured. We were thrilled with how our e-session and wedding photos came out. Our friends and family have been floored by the quality of the photos as well as the authenticity of the emotion captured. I could not think of a better fit for us. Thank you M2!

Michael and Melissa beautifully captured the indescribable emotions and moments that truly made our wedding so special. During our fun engagement shoot we knew we chose the best photographers. January 2019 Philly Wedding

Michael and Melissa are fantastic. We used them for both photography (M2) and video (Stagger Films) and could not be happier. As we saw looking through other albums and now our own, their photos are authentic, warm, and radiate happiness.

Leading up to our wedding, I was nervous about having multiple photographers and videographers tracking my every move. It seemed like it would be awkward and uncomfortable. But that was not the case at all thanks to Michael, Melissa, and the rest of their team. From the beginning, Michael and Melissa took the time to get to know us. From our two-hour intro meeting, to our pre-engagement shoot lunch, they invested the time to make us comfortable and build a relationship. When our wedding day came, we were excited to see them and knew they’d put us at ease. As they’d promised, they were able to capture all of the key moments and emotions of our wedding without being in any way obtrusive. (We'd highly recommend an engagement shoot, not just because the photos are great but also because it was an opportunity to get to know them before the stress-filled wedding day).

A key aspect of Michael and Melissa's style is that the photos do not feel/are not staged. They did not spend precious wedding minutes arranging and rearranging photos. Instead, using fun games and other tricks, they got us to laugh, cry, and smile in an authentic way. As two people not particularly comfortable in front of the camera, the style suited us perfectly, and it was fun for our wedding party too.

We would highly recommend using Michael and Melissa for both video and photo. Using M2 and Stagger together meant they were always on the same page, and we now have two beautiful products to look back on to remind us of the joy we and everyone around us felt throughout our wedding day.

M2 is the best!

We cannot recommend Michael and Melissa and the rest of the M2 team highly enough. We worked with M2 for our engagement shoot and wedding. Beyond their gorgeous photos, the end result of their amazing talent, the actual shooting process is shockingly fun. Beautiful work and beautiful people!

I cannot recommend M2 enough! Don't bother to look any further! It took my now husband and I a very long time to settle on a photographer / videographer. I work in the film business so I had such a hard time relenting the camera to someone else (thanks Melissa and Michael for putting up with that!). None of our options felt right -- until we met M2. We loved their work and we loved that they would be taking care of photo, video, drone, and photo booth. (Not to mention that their photo/video packages and all they include cannot be beat!) But what we loved even more was Melissa and Michael, the couple and founders of M2. We love how they look at love and how they approach their work. They are true artists and believers in love which comes across in every frame. And they are both such genuinely kind and funny people who make you feel comfortable from the moment you meet them.

We did our engagement shoot with them and the photos blew us and our family and friends away with the beauty, love and fun they captured. Our wedding was in August so we just got a teaser thus far, but WOW. They give you all the traditional shots you would ever want, but also an array of unique perspectives and contrast that makes their work so special and different from your "typical" wedding photographer. Also, they are so good at going with the flow but making sure they get everything. We had an extraordinarily busy wedding day and a huge wedding party and M2 just rolled with it and helped us to feel at ease no matter what.

Beyond happy with m2

In my opinion, your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you make while wedding planning. I know that I will struggle to remember every detail of the day, but I am sure my wedding photos will help me remember how beautiful and fun the day was.

We had so much with them on our wedding day, and they made it so easy for us to focus on each other and how excited we were to be getting married. Our photos are so beautiful and looking back on them I feel all the butterflies I felt on my wedding day.

Taking pictures throughout the city of Philadelphia could not have been easier with them. They scoped out the perfect spots, and they had us laughing and sharing sweet moments throughout the day. During the ceremony and party they captured great shots without ever being distracting. I would seriously recommend them to anyone getting married!

Simply Stunning

Usually photographers stay behind the scenes, and you want them to. Michael and Melissa were so into our daughter's wedding - creating settings, inspiring mood and capturing stolen moments through their warm and thoughtful suggestions - their photos went above and beyond any photography we have ever seen. I'll never forget how after photographing me helping my daughter into her wedding gown they created and captured the most special moment, by saying impromptu "okay, take her hand. Now give her one piece of advice" - and everything I was thinking and feeling during this beautiful moment, which would have otherwise disappeared, was captured on film and video. Luckily the makeup person was still there, because we both would have cried our makeup off. They possess perfect professional instincts, knowing when to direct a shot and when to step into the background and simply record what's happening. And the end result, their work is beyond breathtaking. Since the wedding was just two weeks ago, we've only received some teaser photos, but if they are anything like the engagement pictures (which our family and friends liken to the gorgeous lifestyle photos in a West Elm catalog), we have no doubt that they will be perfect. Can't wait to see! Thank you, thank you Michael and Melissa for preserving the best day and evening of all of our lives.

Ah-mazing.

Have you seen M2's photographs? Yes? Then you probably don't need me to tell you how amazing they are! We interviewed a couple photographers before we made a decision. We actually thought we had already decided to go with someone else when we met Michael and Melissa, but we went to the meeting anyway. We both left totally surprised that we were for throwing away our initial plan and going with M2. And we're so glad we did! Michael and Melissa were wonderful to work with. They made the process smooth and easy, and more natural feeling for two weirdo-nerds like myself and my husband. We went with a package that included an "adventure" shoot and an album. The adventure shoot made us feel like oldhats at getting our picture taken by the time of our wedding. Melissa and Michael have a bunch of fun quirky tricks for getting great photos and having the process be fun. When our wedding teasers came in, my husband and I looked through them together. He turned to me and said, I'm so glad we went with M2. Worth every penny.

From the moment we met Michael and Melissa and saw their work we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding day. Their photos truly capture the emotion of the day and that's exactly what we wanted. We received some teaser photos from them and we are absolutely blown away. Michael and Melissa are incredibly talented photographers. From the moment we met them, we felt instantly comfortable with them as if we had been friends for years. We had met with a few photographers prior to meeting them, and while they were all wonderful, we knew right away that Michael and Melissa were “the one!” They are such kind, wonderful souls, and have a passion for what they do and the love they capture. Simply put, they love love and that shines in their work. They help to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera even when it may not come natural to you. Our engagement and wedding photos are more amazing than we could ever imagine and we will cherish them forever. Using M2 was the easiest and best decision we made of all our wedding planning. M2 was one of the first vendors that we booked for our wedding almost 2 years in advance. If you are currently on the search for you wedding photographer - LOOK NO FURTHER AND BOOK M2! We took a lot of time trying to decide on what photographer to use - with the focus being on impeccable photography that was not stuffy, but candid and able to capture the emotions/feelings of a moment within a photo. M2 Photography does all those things and more. Michael and Melissa are are an amazing couple who took the time to get to know us and make us feel comfortable. Not to mention, they are super fun and truly great people. For our engagement photos, they drove over 2.5 hours to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and made us feel like rockstars during the shoot. They also were totally down to incorporate our dog Koda in any shot we wanted. (Side note, Melissa loves dogs!) We were so impressed with our engagement photos, that we ended up increasing our photography package even further before the wedding. They embraced who we were as a couple and I could not recommend them more! They completely took the stress out of our wedding day and I am so excited to get all of our wedding photos back. I am writing this review early because I want to make sure anyone looking for a photographer at this moment is able to book M2 ASAP because they will be worth EVERY penny and they do book quickly. I will update with more wedding photography in the very near future. In the mean time, enjoy some of our favorites from our engagement shoot!

Wait, how have I not written a review of these wonderful people yet? So sorry, guys. I'm slacking. Anyway, we loved every minute of working with Melissa and Michael from M2. We started planning from across the country and met with them via Skype and knew that their personalities and styles would mesh well with ours! We wanted a pretty un-posed, documentary style of candids to really capture the overall feel of the day and I think that's what we got. Plus some pretty stunning posed ones as well! And to top it off, they are a genuinely fun couple to be around. So much that we tried to get them to stay late and party with us (unfortunately they're responsible humans and decided to head home, but we did ask them to add extra time to their photography anyway so they could document more of the night). Anyway, I won't keep writing but I'll post some of my favorite photos below and let those speak for me! Thanks again guys!

Putting to words the value of Melissa and Michael is an impossible task, but I’ll try my best. After instagram stalking my dream photographers, I finally reached out to M2. We connected over email and met in person. Over the course of the year leading up to our wedding we really got to know each other as friends through various events and over social media. Melissa suggested a wild idea for our engagement shoot and we were down for it! The photos are stunning, capturing the magic of this important time in our lives and the experience was one we will treasure them forever. Working with Melissa and Michael was absolutely amazing. Not only are their photographs stunning, they are extremely fun, laid back and easy to work with. My husband and I were both anxious about taking photos and they made the process feel fun and effortless. We would have written a review sooner but we wanted to make sure we had the right words to say. So that anyone who reads this will know that they are by far the best choice to make when looking for a photographer and videographer.
I believe that they were born to do this job. Everything about Melissa and Michael are genuine. They will engage with you and connect with you and literally make you laugh and cry. So far they have given us a sneak peek of our photos and just by looking at them we are satisfied... they are filled with so much emotion. M2 will capture the love you have for each other. Sometimes during a wedding or any big event you get caught up in the moment that you forget the little details and feelings you experienced. They captured everything and looking at those two photos bought back the same emotions we felt that very day. We are beyond pleased and in awe of their photography skills! We recently got our pictures back from our Sept wedding and are still super giddy about them. Melissa and Michael were a fantastic team to work with, and we're so grateful we found them to capture our wedding. We learned during our wedding portraits in Taiwan that my husband really doesn't smile well on command, and were admittedly a little skeptical about how our wedding pictures would turn out. My fears quickly vanished on the day as Melissa and Michael easily coaxed out giggles and belly laughs from us and our family and friends. They both also have a wonderful presence to them that really reminds you to worry less about the "event" and to simply enjoy the fact that you're getting married and are surrounded by the people you love the most.

They did a really great job capturing the small moments of the day that make the whole experience so special. Besides the portrait session, I hardly noticed that they were there, but their final shots proved that they were everywhere. Logistically, they were great to work with. Melissa is quick to respond to emails, and happy to answer any questions, especially during those chaotic months leading up to the wedding. If you're lucky enough to find them while they are still available, book them now!

Melissa and Michael are simply amazing. Their prices are competitive. Quickly respond to e-mails. They are incredibly creative, which is a bonus for someone like my husband and I who lack creativity. If you need help with timeline, suggestions on pictures, or locations, etc - they have such wonderful ideas and love to help! Or let you take the led! They just want you happy and they truly care. There truly are no words to describe just how much it meant to us to have Michael and Melissa as our photographers. After meeting them, there was no doubt in our minds that they were the perfect duo to capture our love story. From our engagement pictures to the wedding, we were blown away by their infectious love for what they do and the impeccable package they deliver. Their talent is truly immeasurable! Our wedding would not have been the same without them there, and it's safe to say, they are practically part of the family now. Our wedding was in August, and our family and friends STILL can't stop talking about how much they loved Michael and Melissa. Melissa and Michael!! I cannot say enough kind words about these two and M2 photography! We were BLOWN away by them!!! M2 is out of this world amazing. We just received our wedding pictures from them and I've looked through them dozens of times already, and every single time I've looked through them I feel like I'm experiencing our wedding day again. The kind of emotions, moments, and details they capture in literally every single picture is one of a kind.

M2 will also go above and beyond to make sure that you are taken care of on your wedding day. Michael was recovering from being sick the day of our wedding, so another photographer, also named Michael :), came along with them just in case the other Michael was off of his game or got sick again during the day. If anyone was off of their game that day, we didn't notice because their positive attitude, sense of humor, ability to keep everything and everyone relaxed, and obviously their work went above and beyond our expectations.

Michael & Melissa, and the other Michael, of M2 are just overall great, talented, beautiful people. Anyone who get the opportunity to work with Michael and Melissa will without a doubt say that they left a lasting impression on them. They are, at their core, two very kind, thoughtful, and talented individuals. Who when they come together, work magic and bring out the best in their clients.

Getting to know them for our engagement shoot was the way to go. We spent hours together, exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn and really enjoying our day. They made our walk so fun and pushed us to just relax! Like, we look really happy in our engagement photos because we were! No posing, no pretending. They brought out the best in us.

Come to the wedding day, I was really overwhelmed. So much to get done and so much emotion. All I wanted was my fiance to help me through it, but he was with his groomsmen. In walks Melissa! And that was it. I was calm, and knew that she had my back. She and Michael are so level-headed and really care that your day be special. She worked her magic and again, captured moments where I felt calm and happy.

I honestly can't picture our wedding without them. They gave us such an incredible gift and some sage advice on marriage. They have become great friends and we feel really lucky that they could be a part of our day.

I cannot say enough good things about Michael and Melissa. They are the type of people I want to be good friends with, and for me that makes a world of difference in the quality of photos.

As a person who hates the spotlight that a wedding creates, I was nervous about looking uncomfortable and just not good in my photos. They put me at ease because spending time with them was just easy. That reflects in your photos. Plus they totally got my idea of rustic organic fun wedding, and they captured it beautifully. They even went along with some of the more unconventional ideas I had for photos, and they turned out even better than I can imagine.

I also recommend a first look for anyone who has similar angst, it lets you and your fiance have a private moment (yes people may be watching through windows) and you don't even notice Melissa and Michael are there. Plus it gets the ugly crying out of the way, and for me all my anxiety was gone after we had that moment.

Not to mention they do a hella good engagement shot, and it helps you get to know them even more.

Not only does M2 take insanely gorgeous photos, they make is so easy and fun! We were so lucky to find them, they have such a great eye for photos and it never felt like hard work for us for them to get the photo - so relaxed and enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about M2 Photography. Michael and Melissa aren't just talented photographers. They are human beings who try to get to know their clients. They were extremely accommodating, professional, personable, and VERY good at what they do. They kept me smiling and laughing when I needed to get rid of wedding day nerves. I can not wait to see our wedding day photos!!

Michael and Melissa from M2 Photography and simply amazing. As people, they are easy-going, genuine and so much fun! They strive to get to know their clients and after having them shoot our engagement and wedding pictures, my husband and I now consider them our true friends. By getting to know us, Michael and Melissa were able to figure out what made us laugh, what things we love, what things we bond over, and they use that knowledge to take truly beautiful pictures!

We did a destination wedding in Aruba and they flew out and stayed with us for 5 days. They never put their camera down during that whole week as they were shooting details left and right the entire time. M2 is dedicated to shooting genuine and candid moments, and that's one of the many things I love about them. Nothing felt staged, nothing felt like they were just taking pictures for their portfolio...they just want to shoot us and the rest of our family and friends having a good time. I wholeheartedly recommend M2 to everyone!!

Wow wow wow! M2 are the most amazing couple and photographers! They put you and ease wheb sharing a truly intimate moment with you new spouse. They are so skilled I actually forgot they were there capturing candid moments during the reception. They take amazing photos. Melissa and Michael made us feel very comfortable and confident - the photos are incredibly natural and capture the event perfectly - the details, the smiles on people's faces, the setting. They really captured each moment, which was exactly what we wanted. They were respectful of our time and our requests - were we OK to step away and take pictures as the sun was setting, for example, and they also helped us manage our timeline. They are fun, friendly people who are wonderful to have around on your wedding day! I couldn't be happier.

A few years ago I was passed link from a friend of a friend's wedding whose photography was done by M2. I was blown away, bookmarked them and decided when we got married, they'd be our photographers. When we got engaged, I contacted M2 the day after. Their work is just that good and necessary for my day. And while we knew they were amazing - what we got was more than we ever expected.

Our engagement session with them was beautiful but the wedding day pictures blew us away. They captured every moment, important or seemingly small that means so much to us now.

After contacting M2 we looked at a few other photographers (just due diligence) but didn't even go as far as asking for pricing. M2 was worth every penny. The portraits are amazing. Their work really speaks for itself so check out their blog if you are at all unsure and it's really just a teaser of what you get. If you're willing to just let them do their thing, they'll make some magic for you.

Dealing with M2 (Michael and Melissa) was just so easy, they've done this a million times, they're a well oiled machine. They know exactly what to do to get you the most from your day and they make it pretty fun while they do it!

I can't say enough wonderful things about M2. Michael and Melissa were so great to work with, from the first emails, to our first meeting, during our engagement shoot, on our wedding day, and then also with the emails afterwards. Right away we knew we were working with not only two professionals, but also people who were passionate about their work and their lives. We had fun on our engagement shoot, which was a great way to get used to being in front of a camera, and also to let the photographers get to know us and how we interacted. We loved how the engagement pics turned out!
On your wedding day, you will spend so much time with your photographers - pick people you like to be around! Melissa was quietly present the morning of the wedding, capturing memories without being intrusive. When we hit traffic on the way to the ceremony, she must have seen the stress on my face, because she casually reassured me there was just a car on the shoulder - we'd be past it soon. That little exchange really resonated with me. She was not just there to take pictures, she was a part of the day! The guys' morning with Michael was similar - they said they barely knew he was there! We know he was though, because we have great photos to prove it!
The photos of our wedding are so special to us. We felt that photography was very important, and we were willing to put a significant portion of our funds into this investment. The result has been better than we could have even imagined - we have so many photos of the little details we worked so hard on, the reactions and expressions of our loved ones that we weren't able to see with our own eyes, and awesome action shots from the dance floor (and so many more!). Our portraits are also wonderful - M2 was able to truly capture who we are as a couple, and most importantly, our joy.
Michael and Melissa have exceeded our expectations as wedding photographers, and their dedication and caring nature have made us feel so happy with our choice!

Michael and Melissa are a down to earth and very personable husband and wife team that we grew to love. From our first meeting, we knew that we would consider them not just as our photographers, but as our friends. They listened to to all of our questions and concerns and made us feel at ease. Our photographers on the day of our wedding were their associates Tom and Jen. We loved them just as much as Michael and Melissa. They were very professional and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They captured everything and more. The pictures we got back turned out better than we could have ever expected. I'm glad we booked M2 Photography and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Philadelphia area looking for a photographer for their wedding!

Michael and Melissa are true artists. They love what they do and it is obvious in every photograph they take. They take on each wedding with excitement and adventure, finding new angles and new ways to capture the personality of each couple, never trying to forcefully recreate a generic shot from a prior wedding. They take the time to get to know their clients. They're flexible and work with each couple to get the images they love. They both keep up with the latest equipment, continuously updating their cameras and lenses. They even hold classes to teach new students the art of photography and photo editing. They are a beautiful husband and wife team who really have a gift for capturing every couple on the dance-floor. Their photos are absolutely breathtakingly brilliant - and, they have so much fun taking them. For us, when we were choosing photographers to document our wedding day, there was no second choice.

Choosing M2 was probably the best decision we made about our wedding! In just two days, M2 had posted over 100 images from our wedding day on their blog, and a video slideshow - and that was just the "preview"! Our guests have sent the wedding blog post to their friends and family, who in turn passed it on even further - and we received so many warm messages from people we don't even know, simply because they were touched and amazed by M2's photography of the event. M2's 'Photobooth' setup was also a huge hit with our guests. Our favorite thing about all the photos is how much fun, and how much heart, is captured in every image. Their work is exquisite, and they've given us memories to last a lifetime. We can't wait to work with them again.

Michael and Melissa are a great team to work with for your engagment session, wedding, or other fun event. They have a fresh look on photography and are definitely the photographers for you if you want those unique, individualized photos. Not only are they easy to work with, but they are extremely creative individuals who find amazing shots whatever the location. Michael & Melissa were more than we could have ever asked for in wedding photographers. We put so much thought/research/time into choosing a photographer to capture the emotion and story of the best day of our lives and they certainly lived up to our expectations, and then some. From our engagement photos to our wedding day photos to the blog post we got to see while relaxing on the beach on our honeymoon, tearing up at the slideshow they created (they picked the perfect song), they were definately the best choice. They captured everything we wanted and they weren't intrusive at all throughout the day. They had awesome ideas for bridal party portraits and the night portraits we did as bride and groom came out amazing. They are there to help you throughout the day and really are the best wedding photographers ever! Love them. We got so many compliments on our photos. I don't know where to begin with how wonderful Michael and Melissa were and are as photographers. They were beyond friendly in our phone/email conversations, and we couldn't have asked for better people to spend our wedding day with. Michael and Melissa got along with our friends so well that our parents thought we knew them! Aside from the great interaction we had with them, they were out of sight (but very much taking pictures) during the whole event. They were so fun to work with, their photos are absolutely amazing, and I would definitely say they were worth every penny and then some! Our guests are still talking about how much fun the photographers were! We could not have chosen a better pair and we could not be happier with the fun we had and the amazing photos we will have forerver! Highly highly recommend these two for any photography needs!

We wanted our wedding to be something different. Something that people would remember for a long time. We knew that we needed a special photographer that could document our special day. We needed someone that would not only listen to what we had in mind, but take those ideas and run with it. Michael & Melissa did a fantastic job of documenting the fun and excitement of our wedding day. They took such a beautifully artistic approach without taking away from the care-free spirit of the day. M2 Photography was the BEST choice we made for our wedding. Photos and music were our top two concerns for our big day - and Michael and Melissa did not disappoint. Our photos are unbelievable.

We opted to not get engagement photos and instead got photos at our rehearsal dinner - so this was really the first time meeting them. They were so easy to work with, asked what we wanted, listened to what we wanted, and then did their artistic thing and delivered ridiculously amazing photos. We got a sneak peak of these photos BEFORE our wedding (which was two days later).

As far as our wedding photos go - we laugh and cry almost every time we look at them. They captured the emotion so well that everytime we look at them, it really does take us back to the happiness of our wedding day. On the big day, we took more traditional photos before the ceremony, and then left it up to Michael and Melissa (and our request for mostly candids) to make the decisions for the rest of the night. If you really value photos and consider photography a big part of your wedding - I would book M2 immediately!

Words really aren't enough to describe how amazing our photos turned out...hands down the best decision we made regarding our wedding. If you book them, you won't be disappointed.

We knew we wanted M2 to be our wedding photographers the minute we started looking at their work online. We had no idea who any of the people in the wedding photos were, but we immediately felt a connection, as though we were there ourselves; simply because Michael and Melissa had captured every moment with such emotion and such spirit.

We were quick to book them for our wedding date in September because no one else could compare; we already had so much faith in them and their work, even though we wouldn't be able to meet with them face-to-face until the day before our wedding. It was obvious they were talented, to say the least. We felt at ease from the moment we met Michael and Melissa. They were professional, but at the same time they were two down-to-earth, genuinely nice people that we felt we could trust.

On the wedding day, Michael met with Chris to shoot his preparations while Melissa drove to the wedding venue where I was getting ready. Apart from this time, and when they took portraits, Michael and Melissa seemed to fade into the background in the sense that we almost didn't know they were there. Needless to say, they were hard at work floating effortlessly around with their cameras to capture every special detail of the day. After the ceremony, we wanted to drive to specific destinations to take some special shots before returning to the reception. Traffic was bad and we were slightly pressed for time due to the setting sun, but Michael and Melissa were in their element, calm, and full of ideas.

In the days after the wedding, we absolutely could not wait to see our sneak-peak slideshow. We had just landed in Hawaii on our honeymoon when we received an email to say it was ready for viewing. We sat on the edge of the bed in our hotel in silence watching the slideshow on my laptop. There just aren't words to express how we felt. We laughed, we cried; it was like reliving the best day of our lives. The pictures were perfect, the song was perfect. It was a masterpiece - something we will treasure forever. Months after the wedding, we still haven't stopped receiving compliments on how amazing our photos are. We can't thank you enough.

These photographers were a match made in heaven for us! They are REALLY really good at what they do; not to mention they are the kind of folks I would have invited to my wedding had I not hired them. They really listened to what we wanted... and that combined with their talent and style resulted in wedding photo magic. Michael and Melissa are fantastic! Their candid photo artistry style perfectly captured the emotions of our day. There are so many photo memories I will treasure for a lifetime. The creative digital album design enabled many more photos to be included than a traditional single print per page design. They are very knowledgable of current digital design trends and options. They are professional, respectful and provide the utmost in customer service. The slide show was terrific and was posted so quickly after our wedding. Our family and friends really appreciated the prompt posting of the proofs and the ability to order prints direct. All were amazed at how quickly I had our finished album to show off. M2 Photography is great!! I can't say enough about how much I love them. We met Michael and Melissa to do our engagement pictures and immediately knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. My husband and I are not the type of people to pose in front of the camera, but they made everything so easy and have SUCH a creative eye that they could find the most beautiful images in the most candid moments. After seeing our engagement pictures I would have practically begged them to work with us!
On our wedding day, Michael met up with the boys while Melissa was with the girls. She helped make everything care-free while we waited for the ceremony to start. During the wedding and reception I barely noticed them as they were never in the way - but the shots they got are awesome. I could go on and on about M2. When you're paying for a photographer, you're not just paying for quality of service but for personality as well. These two are the best, most fun-loving people I have ever met. It felt like two old friends sharing in our best day ever; and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Mike and Melissa are amazing. The pictures they take are just magical. They captured moments during my wedding that just make me smile when I look at the pictures. Mike even followed some of the groomsmen into Wawa on the way to a park for pictures! They are wonderful to work with, and they want nothing more than for the customer to be happy. If you are looking for a photographer that actually cares about your wedding day then this is the photographer that you want. They take the time to get to know their clients and always make time to answer any questions you have. My husband and I planned and paid for our wedding our selves and M2 is not only affordable they give you priceless photos.
They are inviting, down to earth, creative and kind. You will find they actually become guests at your wedding because they take the time to get to know not only you, but also your guests. They are 100% professional at all times and you will never have a doubt in your mind that they truly care about your wedding day.
I could sit here for hours writing a review about M2. Their work is moving, touching, artistic and powerful, but you can see for your self when viewing some of there clients events. My guests raved about how wonderful Michael and Melissa were at the wedding & reception. They were blown away by how friendly, inviting, charming, and how they were all over the hall capturing all of the amazing moments. M2 provides a "sneak peak" of your wedding within 48 hours of your event and I must say I cried & laughed and said "awww" haha. The slide show they posted of my wedding is just perfect. I felt as though they knew me, they knew my style, they knew my emotions and when I saw the slideshow I said "This is ME!". They gave me more than I thought possible.
I have people in work coming up to me just about everyday saying they saw my wedding pictures and they rave about how amazing they are. Sometimes I dont even know the people that approach me!
I am 100% happy with my wedding day and I am Lucky I found them. My one suggestion to brides is... Call them and schedule a meet with them. You will be glad you did. Good luck and congratulations! M2 You're simply the best!

Him and his wife were wonderful to work with. They are both pleasant people and I feel extremely lucky to have found him. My budget was lower than his original package prices and my husband and I were not in a position that we could pay more than what we had originally decided. Michael was completely understanding and willing to work with us. The quality of service they gave us was excellent. Our pictures were finished in less than 2 weeks and they look gorgeous. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We absolutely loved working with him. He was fun and great with guests. We got alot of great feedback from our guests about him. Him and his assistant were both very professional and reliable. They showed up early and stayed until the very end. I couldn't be more pleased with the service. The price you pay is affordable and I feel very much a bargain.

I would highly recommend him to anyone, infact my friend just booked him for her wedding.

Melissa & Michael captured every moment of our wedding day in such a beautiful way. They captured the mood, the warmth, the energy, the space and the people. They don't just do the stereotypical shots -- they capture real moments, capture beauty and capture the day as it really happened. They are true artists and were such a joy to spend time with. I hired them for both engagement photos and wedding day photos, and was so, so happy to have them there. Can't recommend them enough!

Wedding pictures were awesome and Mike & Melissa are totally a blast to work with! Everyone still raves about how awesome our photographers were and how great our pictures turned out! Would definitely reccommend and use in the future for family photos, kids photos, etc.

We hired M2 for our November 2012 wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Upon our first meeting with them, we knew they would be perfect for us -- laid back, easy going, and FUN! Before the wedding, we also did our engagement shoot with them, which was a great experience for us. With both my husband and myself being extremely awkward in front of the camera, it was necessary to have a little practice before the big day. Both Mike and Melissa helped us relax and get comfortable and not to mention have a great time. I would recommend M2 to anyone and everyone!

The associates who were the photographers for my wedding were amazing!!! So comfortable to work with and so nice and accommodating! Absolutely loved them and the pictures we have seen thus far!!

Wonderful experience - 9/22/18 Wedding

From the first Skype call with Michael and Melissa I knew we had to have them be a part of our special day! My now husband and I fell in love with their photography style and then after talking with them both, became comfortable with them right away. Their passion for their work shines through in their images, and we are beyond happy with the overall experience from the day as well as our photos! We cannot thank Michael and Melissa enough for such a wonderful experience and amazing photos that we will treasure forever!

Mike and Melissa were an absolute pleasure to work with. For two people who don’t consider themselves photogenic or comfortable in front of a camera, we were very quickly at ease with M2. Their photos have an exceptional and professional look, but because they don’t force you into strict poses, every photo also reflects a natural and genuine quality. When it came time for family portraits, M2 was prepared and extremely efficient in going through all the combinations to allow everyone to enjoy cocktail hour. They were also incredibly emotionally supportive and extremely personable. M2 truly cares about their clients: they are invested in not only making sure the photos are great, but that the people involved enjoy every moment of their day. They were also extremely flexible working alongside our film crew.

Michael and Melissa were great to work with - very friendly, helpful, accommodating and fun! They captured a lot of great shots at our wedding and were not disruptive at all in the process. They also got along with our guests and got a lot of great candids of the dance floor that we got to see later. They were also priced at an incredible deal that we couldn't find elsewhere!
