The ladies at Lucilles were so helpful and kind and helped me find the perfect dress that made me feel and look like a princess! They were flexible and understanding and made sure that my dress was affordable but timeless!

Great experience from start to finish.

No one told me how hard it would be to find a white veil. I had purchased my dress at another shop but wasn't impressed with their veil selection or their lackluster customer service. So I decided to purchase my veil elsewhere. After coming up empty handed at several shops, I spotted Lucille's as I was driving. From the moment I walked in the sales ladies were welcoming and friendly. They chatted with me about my wedding plans and my dress. I was encouraged to try on several veils and was given time to admire the craftmanship and detailing on each one. I was never rushed or pressured to purchase. It was the experience I wish I would've had with my dress. My veil was rushed ordered and I received it much sooner than expected. My only regret with Lucille's is not going to them for my dress.

I had a wonderful experience here. The service was excellent. I had numerous fittings to be sure that my dress was perfect. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and they really go above and beyond from your first appointment to your last.

Wedding Dress

I was so happy to find a beautifu perfect dress at Lucille’s. We had a full day of dress appointments at other boutiques and were not liking anything until we drove past Lucile’s and figured we’d stop by to take a look. Without an appointment, Lori was able to acomodate us without hesitation. She was not pushy, didn’t rush anything, she listened to what I liked and didn’t, and made us feel comfortable and welcome at the store. Their selection of dresses is vast and it was great to see that they offered dresses in a wide range of prices from newer season to older styles.

Beautiful experience with Jean & Lori

I came to Lucille's Bridal Shop after visiting many other shops that just weren't matching what I had in mind as my dream wedding dress. The dress I got was absolutely everything I wanted. From the off the shoulder sleeves, to the beautiful lace details, I finally had found exactly what I wanted. Jean and Lori were the wonderful ladies that helped me, and I could not thank them enough. They were both truly invested in helping me find the perfect match and they did. They made me feel so confident and ready for my big day. On the last visit when I went to pick up my dress, they all gave me lots of warm hugs and love... Thank you again :)

Perfect wedding dress!

I came to Lucille’s multiple times looking for my wedding dress. I am a curvy bride and they had plenty of plus size dresses to try on. I found my wedding dress at a different location but decided to order it from Lucille’s instead, it was just a different style than the other dresses by the same designer that Lucille’s carried. It arrived quicker than expected and I eagerly went for my first fitting. The dress needed to be taken in a lot and we had ordered additional applique pieces to be put onto the dress. The seamstress did a wonderful job with the dress, both with the sizing and with the appliques. I had a very big dress and a very long train, and it required a lot of hooks for the bustle. The seamstress did such a good job hiding all the hook/eye closures that we had a hard time finding them the day of the wedding! I went for my final fitting and I had lost of lot of weight that the dress needed to be taken in again unfortunately (or fortunately!) The seamstress essentially reworked the entire dress on both sides from top to just about where the knees were in just a day and it looked even better than when I first tried on the dress. The pricing for alterations was very reasonable given the amount of work that needed to be done and in such a short amount of time. Amazing dress shopping experience.

Lucille's Bridal offered the most amazing dress shopping experience ever. I was so pleased when I called on a Saturday for a last minute appointment and they made themselves available to see me. Lori was my sales consultant, and she took the time to learn my style and comfort level to help me find the perfect dress. Since then, the owner Antoinetta has been phenomenal to work with. She is so professional, knowledgable, and helpful. I would highly recommend their shop for your wedding event outfit, whether you're a bride, groom, bridesmaid, groomsman, fathers, or mother of the bride/groom.

I had such wonderful experience at Lucilles! My attendant Laurie was amazing, she was very flexible with my schedule as I had cancelled two appointments and she wasn’t pushy or abrasive with me. Lived every second of being there! The staff was so helpful and had amazing attitudes. They stayed with my price range and were a phenomenal help. I can't wait to go and pick out the men's suits there and get to pick up my dress! I would recommend this place to everyone!

I decided to go to Lucille's to find my dream dress with two of my bridesmaids and then a few weeks later with my mom and sister. I knew which dress I wanted to try on, but I also wanted to try on a few more to make sure I got THE dress. Liz asked what style of dress I liked and what I didn't like about dresses I tried on and grabbed me a few to try on. She continually listed to my opinions about each dress and helped me find the perfect dress. When I went back with my mom and sister, she let me try on a few dresses to show my family even though I had pretty much decided on the dress during my first visit. Once my dress came in, it was super easy to make an appointment to try it on and there was no pressure to purchase accessories or set up alterations. I'm moving back to Texas soon (a few months before the wedding) and the ladies at the shop suggested that I do alterations in Texas since it'll be closer to the wedding so I don't run the risk of having to have alterations done twice if stress causes me to lose weight before the wedding. They were super accommodating and never pressured me into anything. I definitely recommend Lucille's!

I went to two other bridal shops before finding out about Lucille's Bridal shop. The moment I stepped foot into Lucille's, I immediately felt relieved, relaxed and not pressured by any means. From my big "YES" moment, fittings and appointments to bringing my gown home, I cannot think of one negative or worrisome moment that I had in buying my beautiful and comfortable gown that was so well fitted to my body professionally done by Lucille's. The staff were so sweet and kind, accommodating and fun to be with during this exciting time. Thank you Liz, Antoinette and Olivia for all your help! You guys are the best!

They are with you from step one all the way up to even after your wedding is over! They work with your schedule and even make sure they can accommodate you when they have to cancel an appointment! From the day I walked into Lucille's I was very impressed. The staff has been very helpful from when I walked in the door and wasn't sure what dress I was going to purchase. They helped me find the dress that I so love!! Olivia was always helpful as well as the others! The seamstress Tina was excellent! She gave the best advice and altered my dress to my liking. Everyone there is very professional and actually seem to care about making you happy for your special day. No complaints at all!! I would recommend any future brides looking for a dress to definitely look at Lucille's.

Lucille's Bridal was the best bridal salon to meet all of our wedding expectations. My dress was absolutely stunning and went perfectly with my elegant theme at the Eolia Mansion in Waterford, CT. The staff was very attentive during my try on's, fitting, and getting everything done is just the right amount of time. Thank you to Lauren, Olivia, Antonietta and Tina, the seamstress. My bridesmaid dresses were amazing. They looked stunning and fit everyone so well. My mother had also gotten her mother of the bride dress here and exceeded her vision. I will continue to recommend Lucille's to those I know needing a dress for a special occasion in the future.

Where do I begin with Lucielle's?! I would like to start by thanking each and every staff member at Lucielle's. You all are amazing! I found my dress two years before my wedding. They were so great with letting me come in every so often to try it on, because what bride to be doesn't love to just try on their chosen dress?! I had gone there with an idea of the style dress I wanted. Liz at Lucielle's understood exactly what I had wanted. I can confidently say that the dress I bought was the exact one I had dreamt of! The service was amazing that my mother even bought her dress from there! Their seamstress does impeccable work! Also, to Olivia, thank you for being so patient and energetic with my mother and I! The girls at Lucille's Bridal Shop were fantastic. They helped me find the several variations of the style of dress I was looking for. I found the PERFECT wedding dress at this place! I had searched so many different places but I was tired of searching. From the moment we walked in Olivia and Lucille were so helpful and encouraging. When we started looking for dresses I tried 2 on when my cousin actually looked at "The Dress" and said this is it! I tried it on and feel in love! I was about to give up, but from the moment i said YES to the dress everything worked out so seamlessly (since I planned my wedding long distance) My seamstress was awesome as well and went above and beyond with little time for trying and testing the dress, but she was perfect! I would recommend this Bridal shop to anyone!

As a plus size woman, I was super nervous about trying on wedding dresses. Olivia and the entire team at Lucille's made me feel like a queen. I knew I'd start my wedding dress search at Lucille's after having a positive experience when I was maid of honor for my friend's wedding. Well, I did not need to look anywhere else because the selection at Lucille's is wonderful and I found the perfect dress during my first visit (I slept on it and decided it was the one for me -- and I am so happy I did!) I felt like a princess each and every time I went to Lucille's for fittings, and my bridesmaids also enjoyed the star treatment they received when picking out their beautiful coral Bill Levkoff dresses. The seamstress was phenomenal and I felt like a celebrity in my dress, which my guests raved about for its unique lace-y beauty! I wish I could wear my wedding dress every day ;) I would highly recommend CT brides start their search at Lucille's... I can guarantee it will be the first and last place you look!

Olivia is absolutely AMAZING!!! I wasn't sure what style gown I was wanted, but Olivia found me the most PERFECT dress. She was so helpful, patient, and positive throughout the entire process. Olivia was very knowledgable and was able to answer any questions I had. From the time we walked in the door we felt welcome and important. My bridesmaid dresses were also purchased at Lucille's and Olivia really made that experience exciting and fun for all of my girls. In addition, Mary the seamstress was fabulous. Not only did she alter my dress perfectly, but she also took her time in showing my mom the bustle, as it was a little detailed. Overall, I had a great experience from beginning to end and would definitely recommend Lucille's Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding gown and/or bridesmaid dresses.

I came to Lucille's after having a terrible first experience elsewhere. Lucille's was amazing from the start. They listened to what I was looking for and offered suggestions. They brought out gowns that fit me beautifully and were so calm and patient while I tried them on. I never felt rushed and they were not pushy at all. I really enjoyed working with Lucille's and would recommend anyone to them. They truly made my experience wonderful and made me feel like a princess.

Had a great experience at Lucilles with my bridesmaids looking for their gowns. I had 9 bridesmaids and I told them they could all pick out different gowns but from the same designer. The process was seamless. They all found different gowns because the selection was so vast! Everyone who had their alterations done there, loved the outcome. Would highly recommend.

My experience at Lucille's was beautiful. Prior to purchasing my dress, I went to three different stores including two shops in NY and from my very first visit at Lucielle's and I tried on 'THE' dress (mind you is was the 2nd dress I tried on) I immediately knew that was the one. They offer such a great selection of dress with different price ranges to work with your budget. I also purchase the flower girl dress and they also dressed my husband and son. Everyone was very helpful throughout the entire process. I will definitely use them again in the near future. Thank you!!

I had such a great experience shopping at Lucille's Bridal shop! We found my dress there, and felt no pressure from anyone to make a purchase that day. They were incredibly patient as I came back the next day to try on the dress for a different crowd of people, and again leading up to the wedding as different friends and family members wanted to see it. The dress was beautiful, and they made sure I ordered it in the correct size, and the alterations needed were minimal. They were incredibly flexible working with me for alterations, as I live out of state and could only come up on weekends for fittings. At my final fitting, about 2 weeks before the wedding, we realized due to a miscommunication that my veil had never been ordered. Lucille's was great and assured me that the veil would be ordered that day, and that if the company was not able to attach the blusher due to the time restrictions, they would attach the blusher in house. The veil arrived in one week, as promised, and was beautiful! I really enjoyed working with Lucille's. They really made me feel special leading up to my big day. They went above and beyond, even something and silly as always remembering my name when I came in the store, it really meant a lot!

Great experience! I worked with Olivia and she was amazing. This was my first experience looking for a wedding dress and we tried on every style and silhouette. I did not have as good of an experience at other shops and kept going back to Luccille's. Olivia was so patient with me and I ended up purchasing a dress I didn't even have in my mind before going there. I ended up doing my alterations closer to my job because of a far trip for me but they very understanding and didn't make me feel bad for going somewhere else. Absolutely Wonderful! The same lady that help me try on my dress was there for my first fitting and final pick up. I loved my seamstress! She was amazing and made sure the dress fit me perfectly. She also came out during my final fitting and showed my mom exactly where all the hooks were hidden. I mainly had Olivia helping me and I would recommend her to everyone! Very caring and professional. There was a moment when I thought I didn't love my dress. This dress shop was amazing. Being a bride of average size, I felt a lot of bridal shops did not have dresses in my size to try on. This shop had a wide variety in my size. My consultant understood my look I wanted and also my mothers (and of course we were on the opposite sides of the spectrum) and she was able to find an amazing middle ground for us.
The customer service was amazing... so flexible. During the wedding process my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and the doctor appointments (which I wanted to be apart of) started to come in so needless to say I had to change my appointment a few times and one was even on a day they don't usually do fittings because my mother wanted to be apart of this process. They were so kind and sensitive to the situation.
I cannot say enough kind words... they made me feel confident, comfortable, relaxed.
And the seamstress... oh my goodness... she was AMAZING and funny. She knows her stuff... my alterations were done perfectly.

I absolutely love Lucille's! I had gone to five bridal shops before discovering Lucille's but could not find what I was looking for. When I happened upon Lucille's, after a bad experience at another shop, it just blew me away. The selection, the customer service, and the quality were all exceptional; and the prices were totally comparable. In the other shops, I didn't find one dress that I could even think of buying, but at Lucille's, each dress I tried on was better than the last, until, after the 7th or so dress, I found MY perfect dress—both my sister and I knew it was THE one! Truthfully, there were three other dresses that I would have been perfectly happy with, but the one I landed on fit right, felt right, and looked completely right!

And the staff was so helpful. They took their time, didn't rush you, and didn't try to sell you on something you didn't want; they were perfect. So thank you, thank you, thank you Lucille's! You were such an important part of a very wonderful and important day!

Lucille's Bridal was a dream to work with - Antoinetta and Olivia were incredibly helpful and personable and made shopping for my wedding dress a wonderful experience. Lucille's was only the second shop my mom and I stopped in whilst on our gown hunt and we had a very particular idea of what we were looking for: ballet or tea length, illusion neckline, lace & tulle but nothing beaded/sparkly/over the top. Honestly, finding a wedding dress isn't supposed to have been *this* easy. At that first visit, I fell in love with a Kenneth Winston dress, which we were able to special order in a 2 (smaller than the normal range of sizes offered). At no point did this special request seem like it was a hassle or a pain in the butt. When the dress came in, it fit like a glove, no alterations needed. (Seriously, this kind of smoothness isn't supposed to happen.) Antoinetta and Olivia offered perfect customer service and at no point did my mom or I ever feel like we were being "pushed" to buy things we didn't need. This was especially impressive to me because (1) I've grown used to having sales people ignore my "needs" in favor of possibly making a sale, and (2) from a sales standpoint, I was the worst - bought literally one thing that needed zero changes made to it. Truly, from beginning to end, Lucille's Bridal gave me more than I expected out of my wedding dress finding and buying experience and I really can't emphasize my gratitude strongly enough. I very much unequivocally recommend Lucille's to anyone starting their wedding dress hunt.

After visiting over 10 different bridal shops in the NY/CT area, I finally found my wedding dress close to home, at Lucille's. They took the time to listen to my vision and helped me pick out a dress that I felt beautiful in and that met my budget constraints. They don't carry a huge number of dresses, but certainly have a wide variety of price points and designers. My dress ended up being a Maggie Sottero, and I was very happy with it. All of the fittings were easy to schedule and all of the work was completed on time. I felt that everyone at Lucille's was genuinely excited for me and my fiance and they welcomed his opinion when he came with me to my fittings. The only issue I had (and this was probably my fault and not Lucille's) is that that my cap sleeves were supposed to be detachable, but ended up being sewn into the dress after the final alteration and I didn't think to try to detach them completely at that last fitting. I also had an issue with the bustle not staying bustled with the hook and clasps that were sewn in. In the middle of the reception, I ended up pinning the train to try to keep it bustled, but it didn't last more than a few minutes before it came undone again and I gave up. So the only words of wisdom I have are to be absolutely sure that you want a train if you know that you are going to be dancing a lot. It may be more trouble than it's worth! All that aside, I recommend Lucille's 100% to any bride. They also had a nice selection of other party gowns and dresses that are worth checking out. My fiance ended up getting his suit in NY since it was easier for all the groomsmen to coordinate.

As a plus size bride working with a limited time frame (less than 5 months from engagement to wedding with 2 major holidays in between) I was nervous about what options I would have for finding a wedding dress. As it turns out, I had nothing to be nervous about! Lucille's made dress shopping a breeze. They had larger sample sizes available, and never once did I feel I was being judged or body shamed. They helped me find a beautiful tea-length Kenneth Winston dress, and it was perfect. Well, it was perfect after they made all the alterations I wanted/needed. I have known Antoinetta for many years and I was thrilled to work with her for my special day. My bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law all got their dresses from here. The selection and variety of dresses available was impressive. She worked with us to find the perfect dresses. I cannot say enough great things about Lucille's Bridal! The staff is very friendly and helpful. By the time you are ready to pick up your dress before your wedding, you will know everyone and they will know you too! It is a very tight knit shop. I always looked forward to my fittings. They have a great selection of wedding gowns and veils. If you see something you like but they don't have it in the store they can order it for you (I did that with my veil). I actually also got my necklace and earrings at Lucille's. They really have it all! The one thing I do recommend is making your appointments ahead of time!! Since we got married in the middle of July there were always a lot of people coming and going but if you make an appointment they set you up in an area off to the side to it is not an issue at all.

Absolutely wonderful staff! Jennifer pulled dresses that were in my budget and was never pushy. She listened to what I was looking for which led to me picking out a Maggie Sottero "Lena". The alterations was done perfectly and finished on time. I had two weddings, one in FL and the other in CT, I had my dress cleaned in between the two with a two week deadline. There was sand, seaweed and twigs all embedded in my dress, I surely thought I had trashed it. When I picked it up, it looked brand new! Don't waste your time at David's Bridal like I did the first time I tried on wedding dresses. Go to Lucille's, you will be glad you did!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Not only did I purchase & alter my wedding gown from Lucille's, but we also did all of the bridesmaids dresses & groomsmens tuxes (20 total!) from them and they were absolutely phenomenal! From my first appointment to the last they were helpful, professional & simply the nicest to work with! There was a snow storm the week of my wedding & when my dress needed to be picked up early it was not a problem! Everyone raved about my dress & how wonderful the entire party looked. I would highly recommend this shop!!!

I'm so happy I bought my wedding dress from here. Everyone working there is SO nice and very professional. They actually care about their customers and truly give you that bridal experience. They make you feel like the only bride in the world. I'm honestly sad that my experience with them is over and I won't be seeing them anymore. I couldn't be more happy with my dress and the alterations were perfect! Lucille's bridal is amazing!!

I love my dress from Lucille's! I'm so happy I went there for my dress, it was the first dress I tried on, and I fell in love! The staff at Lucille's is wonderful, they are so helpful and they give their clients all the attention they deserve. Everything was perfect and the ladies at Lucille's made sure of it. I bought my dress off the clearance rack and they had dresses to fit my smaller budget which was nice because you still get the quality treatment from everyone there. Amazing experience!!!!

Lucille's was the first place I went to look for dresses. Liz was so helpful and friendly and I never felt pressured to buy anything. I saw a dress I liked but wanted to look around. I went to a few other places but I went back to Lucille's and bought the first dress I tried on there. The whole staff at Lucille's made the dress shopping experience fun and exciting! My mom also got her dress there too and they did a great job with the alterations. When I look at my pictures I am reminded over and over that I made the right decision buying my dress at Lucille's. I would recommend Lucille's to anyone who is looking for beautiful dresses and excellent customer service.

I had been to 2 other stores before coming here and tried on at least 20 other dresses and could just not find 'the one'. I came to Lucille's with a budget and pretty specific requests for what I wanted in a dress. The lady that helped me out said ok, let me see what I can find in the back and she came out with at least 10 dresses....and among them, was 'the one'! She never once tried to make me like a dress I didn't and if I had something on I didn't like, she wouldn't bother letting me try on other dresses of the same style, she would move on to something different and really tried to listen to what I wanted. I was extremely happy with the service and the best part was that I was able to walk away with the dress the same day because it was a sample dress on clearance. The price was way under my budget, so I was able to buy a beautiful veil. Every person at the wedding complimented the dress and a month later people are still talking about it! It was a friend that recommended this shop to me (she had bought evening gowns before) and she plans on buying her dress from this shop for her wedding next year.

The ladies at Lucille's were absolutely amazing!!! I drove well over an hour to this bridal shop in search of a particular gown that they had in stock that I wanted to try on before ordering it closer to where I lived. I ended up choosing a different Maggie Sottero gown and still ordered from Lucille's because everyone was so kind and helpful. Antonietta and Jen kept me in the loop as to when my dress was going to ship, actually shipped and arrived.

2 weeks before my wedding, a different bridal shop finally got the flower girl dressed that I had ordered, and they were ordered wrong. I knew Lucille's would help fix the problem. I called Jen in tears and she called me right back with the solution! I purchased 2 identical white flower girl dresses off the rack that were each a size too big for my little flower girls and had the wrong color accents. Even though they were swamped with bridal gown alterations, Theresa had these 2 dresses perfectly altered AND changed the color accents, within a week. The girls went back up 2 days before the wedding and Theresa made final alterations right then and there.

This is an absolutely wonderful bridal shop with wonderful women. They are worth the travel. I cannot thank them enough.

I used Lucille's Bridal for Alterations and could not have been happier with everything from making appointments to the seamstress to the quality of work. I would recommend them without reservations for alterations to anyone.

I found my ultimate dream dress at Lucille's. I was a little nervous to go dress shopping. I was scared that I wasn't going to find what I had in my head. Jen had me go through their racks and pick out the dresses that I wanted to try on. We went through a lot of "nos" before we found the one. I had tried it on and had loved the top of it but the bottom looked too much for me. It had several pick ups that I was not liking. Theresa then came out and told me that she would be able to take the pick ups out. At that moment I knew that the dress that I had been wanting, I would get. Once my dress came in, I went for a fitting with my sister. I was standing on the stand and Theresa began cutting all of the pick ups out! I was so nervous! I am so happy that I did because I felt like an absolute goddess in my wedding dress and I wish i could wear it everyday! Everyone at Lucille's was welcoming and kind and made my dress shopping experience better than I had ever imagined. Also, their new store location is absolutely gorgeous!!!

This is a tiny little shop with tons of gorgeous off the rack dresses at reasonable prices. I found a beautiful dress, that didn't look like every other poofy bridal gown... and I'm not a little girl, either!

They had the dress ready very quickly for me, and the alterations in shop were perfect. The staff has personality, beyond the usual sales pitch. I'd try them, especially if you need to buy off the rack!

I cannot thank Lucille's enough (especially Liz!!) for helping me find my dream dress. Lucille's was the first place I went to when shopping for my wedding dress and ultimately where I returned to and said "yes!" - from the start Liz was in tune with my style, my venue and the overall theme of our wedding day and helped me pick the absolute perfect dress. I loved my experience so much we went back and purchased my bridesmaids dresses as well from them.

Lori was amazing to work with! I had an idea of what I wanted and she hit the nail on the head finding dresses in styles that I liked and felt comfortable in, all while staying within my budget. They even ordered a dress they didn’t have so I could try it on and ended up saying Yes to that one! She was patient and I never felt pressured. It was fun and a pleasure to work with everyone at the store. I would definitely recommend Lucille’s!

Lucille's Bridal shop was amazing to work with. When I called to make my consultation appointment I gave them my budget range and they helped me find the dress of my dream under my budget. I loved everything about my dress. They also helped me pick out the perfect veil to go with my gown. From the first day of my consultation to the day I picked up my gown for the wedding the staff was all very professional, friendly, and flexible. I loved my experience with Lucille's Bridal Shop.

The team at Lucille's provided fantastic service every step of the way! I picked out my wedding dress (the first one I tried on!) in October of 2015. I immediately fell in love with the style and fit of the dress, and the employees definitely made me feel beautiful! I received my dress the following May (2016). When I went in to try it on, it fit perfectly! Lucille's couldn't have sized me better. I only needed minimal alterations (a hem at the bottom, bustle, and taken out 1/4 inch). Every time that I walked into Lucilles, I was immediately greeted with a warm "Hello Amanda, how are you today?" I would really like to thank Olivia for being so sweet and helping me (and my aunt) with all appointments, fittings, etc. She really made me feel so valued as a customer and comfortable with any questions/concerns I had. The shop is a bit pricey, so plan to pay a little extra for alterations. Other than that, I would recommend using Lucilles to all my friends and family! Thank you!

I worked with Liz but everyone in the shop was very helpful and pleasant any time I came in the shop. All my bridesmaids also bought their dresses here. They have beautiful wedding dresses and gowns for any special occasions.

so many brides i know say that they were having there dresses still fitted up until a few day before their wedding. No at Lucilles! They took my dress from a size 14 to a 2 and had it done well before my wedding. They were polite, helpful and affordable for both my dress and my alterations.
