Love Lucarelli’s

I highly recommend Lucarelli’s Banquet Center for any of your catering needs! I have use Lucarelli’s Banquet Center for my baby shower, my bridal shower, and now my wedding. They have gone over and beyond each and every time to ensure that we were beyond happy with their services. For my wedding the food was delicious I unfortunately did not get a chance to eat my meal due to crazy circumstances and the day of my wedding however Amanda Lucarelli is going over and Beyond to make up for that. Mr. Lucarelli and Amanda are both beyond personable and great people they listen to everything that you want and do whatever they can to make it happen for a reasonable price. I would absolutely use Lucarelli in the future and recommend anybody needing a caterer or place to get married to use them. We will definitely Use them in the future.

Amazing job!!

I’ve host numerous events at Lucarelli’s they also catered my wedding! It’s a great venue and amazing catering service. We still get so many compliments on our food and bar service form our wedding and whenever we host events at Lucarelli’s the venue and staff is always great to work with! Recently hosted my sons first birthday party. Very spacious room for our large family! & the best part, it’s not at my house and I don’t have to worry about clean up after!!

Delicious food and friendly offsite service

Our wedding outdoors about 40 minutes from Buffalo went so well thanks to the Lucarelli's staff. They were extremely professional and easy to work with. During our dinner buffet service in the woods they were all smiles and happy to keep things flowing well. Amanda was responsive to calls and emails leading up to the big day, which helped to lessen our stress. All of our guests were raving about the food, especially the pasta and beef tenderloin! The bar service was on point, as well. We were so pleased with everything.

Great Venue

We are so happy we chose Lucarelli's for our wedding venue! They helped us through the wedding planning process and were always there to answer questions that we had. Everyone kept complimenting us on how great the food was. We will definitely recommend them to our friends who will be getting married!

They could not have done a better job! Taylor was awesome and Mike Lucarelli did a great job with the food. The staff was very polite and very responsive to the guests. I would definatlly use them again for any function.

Katie and the staff at Lucarelli's has been amazing our entire wedding process. The food was outstanding and we keep hearing from the people that were invited how amazing the beef was. Katie went above and beyond to make sure my night was wonderful even dealing with my centerpieces. The bartender remembered my drink order the entire night! Thank You Katie, Mike and Luke's crew

A great choice when planning your special event! I was lucky enough for the second time in a few months to help plan a holiday celebration for our individuals and their family & friends from SASi/Claddagh group homes, at Lucarelli's Banquets. Mike, Linda, Katie, Janis and the their whole team of staff go above and beyond to accommodate our very special guests. They are patient with our seating & dietary needs as many of our guests are part of the special needs community. They adjust as needed for us, right up until the eleventh hour, making sure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. They certainly make our jobs much easier as they are very flexible to on the spot changes. This year's St. Patrick's Day party was no exception. Food was served hot and of high quality! The cabbage was excellent!! Staff is always around and available for whatever may come up, as they always work quickly to rectify the situation. With Mike Lucarelli himself, coming out to say hello to all our guests, really a very personable man! We look forward to seeing Mike & his crew again in the near future, as our events we host at Lucarrelli's are always eagerly anticipated! I would highly recommend an event at this Southtown"s staple!

Let me just say theyre amazing and did an fantastic job. We had them cater the food at our wedding and I am so happy we did.
I have seen their work multiple times and knew I liked them a lot. Their food is always delicious and top notch and as people, they are so very kind and down to Earth.
We couldn't have asked for anyone better than Mike, Amanda and Katie. Every detail was taken care of and the staff was wonderful as well.
Thank you guys again! You made our day absolutely perfect.

We went with Lucarelli's as the caterer for our wedding at the Botanical Gardens, and could not be happier with our choice! They were professional, easy to work with, responsive to our requests, and the food was delicious! We strongly recommend them to anyone looking for great food!

We worked very closely with Mike, the owner, on the menu. We had some ideas of unusual things we wanted, and they were able to do everything! We had a family recipe we wanted, so Mike asked that we send it to them a few months beforehand so they could perfect it. And it came out amazing! We also wanted some different buffet selections, and he had suggestions for great food pairings that we went with and were fantastic!

We also worked very closely with Amanda, the manager, on how to best arrange things within the space at the Botanical Gardens. She and Mike both had suggestions based on what they had seen work well in the past (or not so well), and we were so happy we listened to them. They both helped us take the menu through multiple iterations so we wouldn't go over our budget, and had ideas on where to spend and where to cut back to get the optimal experience. We were so happy with what we got and what we spent!

The day of the wedding Amanda was on site to keep things moving efficiently and make sure it was exactly how we planned it - and it was! The servers, chefs, and staff that we worked with that night were all friendly and professional, and we got mullions of compliments on both the food and how smoothly it all went - which was all thanks to Lucarelli's! Plus, because they have a mobile kitchen all the food came out hot and fresh, because it was all freshly prepared on site.

They were easy to work with the whole time, Linda in the office always got back to our emails right away, and the fact that we were planning from out of town wasn't ever an issue because they had such a good handle on things.

And make sure you get the bananas foster - it is amazing!

We had our wedding reception here on 07/16/16.
Everything was perfect from the food, Bartender/drinks, decor, flow of the night etc! We worked closely with Katie Lucarelli for several months. She was awesome to work with and went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. We have already recommended Lucarelli's to friends and family with upcoming weddings and will continue to do so. The whole Lucarelli family really makes you feel like family' Thank You so much for making our wedding day so special!!!!!

Just wanted to thank the entire staff at Lucarelli's for doing an amazing job at our reception at the Marienthal Country Inn on Saturday. You guys were so flexible and professional. Book it! You will be very happy with the attention to detail, professionalism and great food that they offer. You will be very proud to say you had a party at Lucarellis. I will be getting married and having my reception at Lucarelli's next September. I couldn't be more excited!! My sister had her reception at Lucarelli's in 2009. It was such a blast!! Mike Lucarelli and his staff are just amazing and we couldn't have picked a better place to have celebrate our special day!!!!

This was my daughters wedding and Michael and his team did a wonderful job. The room was decorated to our specifications and the food was outstanding. Michael served everything himself making it have that warm family atmosphere. Michael and his team were very professional and friendly. They made sure everything went smoothly and enjoyable at all times. I have been here for other events and they always are the same beautiful and perfect. I would recommend this establishment to others and I will use him again in the future. Many thanks to Michael and his team for creating the perfect ambiance for my daughter and son-in-law!!!!

I can not say enough great things about Lucarelli's. My husband and I found out our original reception venue was closing a few months before our wedding. We were referred to Lucarelli's and were so happy with them from the moment we walked in. The owner was very understanding and accommodating of our situation and he and his staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They were great to work with. Everything at our reception was exactly what we expected and more. The staff went above and beyond to help us make our day perfect.

We were so thrilled with our daughter's wedding at Lucarelli's. They really know how to make an event flow well. You can tell how important it is to Mike and the staff to make it perfect. It's obviously not just a job to them. The room was beautiful,spacious and comfortable. They was it's set up is perfect for having a large event. The food was out of this world. Every item was wonderful. We ordered the bananas foster and the espresso bar to be served with the cake and the cookies the family brought. They had them behind a curtain after dinner and when they opened the curtain to reveal it the chef had the bananas foster flaming in the pan. It was so special, everyone loved it. Also the prices at Lucarelli's are amazing reasonable.

This was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding! Lucarelli's was not only a gorgeous venue but the food was amazing and the office staff was unbelievably helpful with the millions of questions I had for them. Mike Lucarelli is very accommodating and they really go the extra mile to make sure the bride and groom are happy every step of the way. When we chose our menu, we picked the roasted potatoes as our side but I told Mike that the groom was really hoping for mashed potatoes because he loves them. The day of the wedding, the server brought a big bowl of mashed potatoes just for my husband!!!! He was completely surprised and couldn't stop smiling! This is just one example of how amazing Mike Lucarelli and his staff are! Our reception was in the Piazza Room and I would highly recommend that room to everyone because the layout is perfect and the high rise tables for cocktail hour stay in place for after dinner so guests can get up from their tables and still have some place to drink and chat between dancing!!!! Thank you for making our wedding day the best!

Lucarelli's was amazing! From the day we booked them we knew we were in good hands. The entire staff made us feel extremely comfortable. Our night was amazing. The staff was awesome, very attentive and professional! The food was delicious. Our room was decorated beautifully; I provided centerpieces and directions how how to set them up, and the staff added some things and decorated above and beyond to fit my theme. The room (Piazza) looked STUNNING!!

Lucarellis provided catering for my wedding at Shea's Performing Arts. We had an extremely positive experience working with the wonderful people at Lucarellis! The appetizers were delicious and had a beautiful display! Due to the fact that my venue did not have a kitchen, Lucarellis brought portable kitchens with them. The food was warm and we received many compliments on how tasty the meal was! My husband and I were thrilled with the service as well! Each waitress had a huge smile on their face and were excited to share in our big day! I cannot say enough about the food and service and I would highly recommend Lucarellis to other brides to cater their wedding! Thank you for taking part in our wedding day! You are appreciated!

I cannot say enough great things about Mike and all of the staff at Lucarelli's. My bridal shower was at Lucarelli's and my wedding was catered by them at another venue. Linda was always easy to get a hold of and very pleasant to deal with. Mike knew exactly what we were looking for and delivered it. The price for both events was beyond reasonable and the quality of food was excellent. The servers at both events were extremely professional and accommodating.Not only would I recommend using them, I know my family will definitely use them again in the future. Lucarelli's has definitely gained life-long customers!

Fantastic. Mike was very accommodating every time we met with him. He listened to us and was the only person we met who did not laugh at the idea of our outdoor ceremony in January. We had offsite catering but it was cooked in their mobile kitchen right outside of our venue, and everybody loved the food. Great staff, they set up all of our tables and decorations for us, and treated us very respectfully. Great bar value!

Lucarelli's went above and beyond for my husband and I for our wedding day. Not only did they let us come in and decorate our room the day before the wedding, but they also made a special vegan meal for my friend and they also made mashed potatoes special for my husbands grandmother who was just craving them.. They were flexible and responsive and I would recommend them to anyone!

I am so incredibly happy that my husband and I chose Lucarelli's for our ceremony and reception. Everyone there is so helpful and flexible with everything! You don't have to worry about a thing when everything is in their hands!! Ceremony courtyard was absolutely beautiful, food was amazing, and the brought it up 50 notches! Their prices are extremely reasonable and they work with you on EVERYTHING!!

Love them and will recommend them to any and everyone!

My wedding was at Lucarelli's on August 17th, 2012. It was everything I could have ever dreamt it would be, plus more. When my husband & I walked into the room it took my breath away, Lucarelli's had captured everything I had envisioned. My guest raved about the mouth watering steak & they couldn't stop talking about the chicken wellington. They told my husband & me, that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever gone to & the hors d'oeuvre hour was outstanding. The staff was definitely on top of their game. Anything my guest or I needed they catered to every need. The way they set up & take the time to care about each detail was out of this world. I can't thank Mike & his staff enough. You definitely make fairy tales come true 

Having my reception at Lucarelli's is what made the event so memorable, the food was amazing, the service was amazing, the decor was amazing. The staff was very helpful day of and even before the event they were available to answer questions and make suggestions. They made my day worry free and everything went seamlessly. They even went out of the way to insure that guests with any food allergies could still enjoy their meals. At one meeting I had mentioned that my fiancé really only ate chicken fingers French fries and corn, once dinner started that's exactly what was served to him. The attention to detail really makes you feel so special! I'm already planning on holding future events there.

Our wedding was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Lucarellis was phenomenal!! I would recommend them to all getting married. They handled everything perfectly even the things we didnt think of. The food was great the service was great the bar was great and the cost was great!!! They totally a huge part of why our day was soooo perfect.

We had Lucarelli's cater our wedding at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens. Of the catering options that the Gardens provided us with, Lucarelli's was not only the most reasonably priced, but offered the most for your money. They were also the only company we looked at to include china and linens in the per person cost, rather than charge extra for it. Since the wedding, we have had so many people comment to us about how great the food was! From day one, they were very professional and helpful. We scheduled several meetings with them, and each time we met with the owner, Mike Lucarelli. He was very nice and easy to work with. He was not only concerned with making the food taste good, but making sure that the presentation was nice as well. The day of the wedding, everything tasted and looked amazing! The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were drinking wine during the reception, and we heard that they ran out of the wine we were drinking so they sent someone back to Lucarelli's to get more. We could not have been more pleased with our catering and bar service and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This isn't the first venue that we have planned with Lucarelli's... we have done many events there, and need we say more??? They did a great job on everything. We had a wonderful hor d'oeuvres (cocktail) hour... I suggested a pasta station for cocktail hour and they sure did deliver! it was their first time doing that during a cocktail hour and we are sure it won't be their last! Everyone raved about it, they kept going back and forth (we had it outside and inside) and saying "this is excellent". Their food is excellent as always. We would recommend Lucarelli's to anyone, as we always do.

Lucarelli's was actually not where we had originally booked our reception. I contacted them after our first venue closed suddenly.
They honored our contract and price from the other venue and offered many more things for our money. They were very accomdating even up to the day of our wedding.
The room was gorgeous, the service was exceptional and the food delicious. We received so many compliments about the reception. In the end it was the perfect choice.

I would highly recommend Lucarelli's to anyone.

We used Lucarelli's off site catering. We did there stations dinner set up and an open bar. We had prime rib, roasted turkey, a potatoe bar, live pasta station, salad bar, and coffee bar. The food was absolutely amazing. They arrived even before we did to get the tables dressing and set. When we were done with our ceremony one of there bartenders were right there to get us drinks if we wanted them. They were very professional, but were friendly enough that they just seemed like more of our friends. I would choose Lucarelli's again for any catered event I may plan!

Lucarelli's was a huge reason that our wedding went off without a hitch. We did not use their facilities but instead had Lucarelli's cater the wedding off-site. They were prompt, had everything set up perfectly and the food was delicious! We had a buffet for about 200 people and everyone raved about the food and the excellent service. Mike Lucarelli was very responsive as was Linda who was in practically constant contact with my Mother dealing with logistics! Overall I would highly recommend Lucarelli's for anybody who wants delicious food at a reasonable price!

I actually had my shower at Lucarelli's, not my wedding reception but it was so nice I wanted to write a review. We opted for a brunch on a Saturday in August. Even though they were booked solid for weddings that night and had a funeral brunch the same morning, they were able to accommodate us and did so without making us feel rushed. We were in the Garden Room, which is the perfect setup for a brunch. We had about 35 people, but the room could've fit at least fifty. There is a smaller room attached where they placed the food items and beverages. There was coffee and pastries set out as guests arrived and the food followed shortly thereafter. We were able to choose a good selection of breakfast and lunch items and everything was delicious. The attached room was great because it allowed the flow of people to move through in an orderly fashion. The food was delicious and the Garden room was quite convenient. Due to it's location at the front of the Banquet Center, we were able to take gifts right out to the front door were the car was parked, saving time and energy.

The Banquet Manager was also fantastic. My sister/matron of honor lives in VA and was able to get information and plans set up over the phone and they were very flexible with her as far as things that needed to be handled in person. Also, I had three (!!) cousins who were pregnant and due within a week of the shower so we were unsure if they would make it or not. The manager allowed us to leave them off the total count so we would not be charged if they could not attend. On the day, two of the three did attend and they still did not make us pay for the additional guests, despite our offer to do so. The staff assigned to our shower kept everything on schedule without making us feel rushed or inconvenienced. I was very pleased overall with the accommodations.

The staff a Lucarelli's could not have been more accommodating for our event! I thought the food was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate the special dietary needs of several of our guest. Both of the owners personally greeted us and checked in to make sure that everything was going well. The room was beautiful and our 250+ guests had a fantastic time!

After searching literally every catering company that came up on googlemaps for western new york, we finally decided on Lucarelli's because 1- they were flexible (in price, in food choices), 2- Mike Lucarelli was sooo nice, 3- they have a "portable" kitchen. Our reception was at Shea's Performing Arts Center, which doesn't have a kitchen or even a microwave, so our choices were to either have the food delivered in warming boxes from a caterer, or have it cooked on site. Lucarelli's brought their truck which has a kitchen inside, so all the food was hot and delicious. Mike upgraded us to the filet for free even though he had already given us a discount from their package prices. Everything was great and looked nice, the staff was attentive, and Mike was great to work with. We had a dual-entry. On each plate was: stuffed chicken, filet mignon, green beans, twice baked potato. They set up coffee and appetizers, and let us bring our own cookies and desserts which they set up for us. I highly recommend them. Their food fit the "classyness" standard for having a reception at Shea's.

My husband and I got married here on 5/22/21 and the whole team was amazing. Specially planning a wedding during Covid as if that wasn’t stressful enough but Amanda was amazing on keeping me up to date on the guidelines and helping me though the whole wedding planning process ! They invited us to a tasting night which was very amazing there food is great all my guests came up to me and said how good there food was ! We had the cememory and the reception in the Gatsby room and I highly recommend that room there other rooms were beautiful as well but the Gatsby room is just breath taking beautiful!l ! If I could do my wedding over and over again I would definitely come back to lucarelli’s ! I set up my own decorations and they let me do that two days before the actually wedding which was so helpful! The only negative thing I will say and why I gave 3 stars for professionalism is Janice could have been a little nicer seemed like she had a little bit of a attitude.

We booked Lucarelli's for my Bridal Shower. We had a brunch buffet that included a carving station and it was well within our budget. We had the Abbott Room which was recently updated and comfortably fit 60 people. The room is divided so all F&B displays were separate from where we ate and did gifts and prizes. The room is beautiful and modern and could fit any type of theme/color scheme you want. Lucarelli's was very responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the staff was quick in getting food cleared and cake ready to be served quickly.

My only cons would be that they could use some polishing on their professionalism. They only do signed contracts for wedding events so some matters were in a gray area. IE- kids prices- had to pay full price for a 6 year old, cake/dessert station- had to provide our own paper products, new updated room meant we were restricted on how we could decorate the space- no hanging anything on walls. Also, the head server did not introduce herself or offer additional help if there was anything we needed. The service we received was efficient and my shower was a huge success, but knowing a name and an offer to "let me know if there is anything else we can do for you" is a comforting feeling.

Katie was amazing from the start I can’t say enough about her, super sweet, kind, very professional & goes above and beyond for you. We had a couple issues, the major issue being the temperature in The Loft which was upstairs on the 3rd floor. When we arrived around 5:30 I noticed it was warm. Just before we were going to start going up for dinner around 6pm I mentioned to the staff that is was very hot up there & to see if the air could be turned down a little more. I was told it was 66 in there but I assure you it wasn't 66. As the night went on I had several guests come up to me to talk but also mention how warm it was, I figured with all the dance lights it was warm & again turned to look at the air unit and it still read 66. My now wife, was so sick & overheated that she spent half the night in the bridal suite laying down with the fan directly on her, she thought she would need an ambulance to come because she felt as if she was going to pass out. I felt terrible I couldn’t’ stay but I had to make sure I was still at my wedding. A lot of my guests, including myself would go down to the 2nd floor to cool off and or go outside to get fresh air. I was told by Katie that on camera was a guest at the thermostat and she said that it’s very picky if you try and mess with it. I'm sure my guest was trying to get the room cool since no one else wanted to do it. Katie noticed it right away when she came up to our room and said it was 85. I was told a staff member went down to say something but it took all night for something to be done and for Katie to come up and have fans turned on & the air fixed. By the end of the night it was finally comfortable but that was when the reception was just about to end. It’s sad to say it ruined my wife’s night & that is a night that can’t be done over. The only thing that was missed by some of my guests wasthe Flambé station. Something that would prevent the delicious station from being missed would be to have a server at this station or having the DJ announce it.

We also had sandwich platters brought out around 10pm. Not many guests were hungry at this time. Instead of leaving them, workers came and put them back in kitchen. My sister had to ask a staff member to put them back out for the guests and all the guests ate them by the end of the evening.

Other than that everything was awesome! Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect!

I had my wedding there last Friday. I loved Mike! He was very nice professional and understanding. I felt like I was family from him. My only issues I have with the venue is that my florist had an issue with getting back her centerpiece glassware I rented from her to cut some costs down. The staff have her a hard time when she went to get everything back. And at the end of the night while staff was picking up. They picked up things that people were saving and still dancing and when they got back to table everything was gone. Other then those issues everything was great. I'm

Great Food / Poor communication

We chose Lucarelli’s as our caterer for our wedding on Nov 2nd at HayLoft in the Grove. While the food turned out amazing at the wedding (which we expected), the service and communication leading up to the wedding day and day off was a little subpar. We had a little trouble throughout the planning process with getting ahold of Amanda (our wedding coordinator) whether it was email or phone. I feel that this issue could be resolved by the company not utilizing one main email for all employees and having personal emails for all employees so our emails didn’t get lost or read and then discarded. We had some issues with linens for our venue as well, although the venue and caterer communicated many times via email and phone, we were still shorted a few table cloths which resulted in a conflict just a few days before our wedding. We ended up having our venue rent the linens through their supplier which was both cheaper and quicker. The day of the wedding we had a few issues as well. First off, the biggest issue was that the bar ran out of whiskey and vodka right at the end of cocktail hour. The head lead claimed this was because they caterer didn’t know that we were having signature drinks which resulted in more than usual alcohol usage but to me, you shouldn’t be running out of whiskey and vodka of all things, especially when you are having a wedding off-site, this should have been better coordinated by the caterer and supplier at the time of order. The bar also ran out of bottled water about 90 minutes before the reception concluded which resulted in guests having to drink out of a tap outside (mind you it was 30 degrees out and snowing) or they were told to drink the melted ice water from the coolers… a huge no no in my opinion. We also had to pay for 2 bartenders to work our wedding as per our coordinator, yet we only had one during the entire day (working on getting a refund on that now). Other than these issues, we did enjoy the food as did our guests. Shawn behind the bar did a great job of serving guests and clearing up the alcohol issue while the bar was closed for dinner and head lead Chantel did a great job as well making sure the food was properly prepared and all guests needs were met. Lucarelli’s is a great caterer with a long history of weddings but the communication needs some improvement if they want to be the caterer of choice.

The food was delicious... the cortesy of the ppl verry pleasant and profesional. Flexible went was time 2 get in touch with them. They work w us from venue.menu, decoration etc.

I just had my bridal shower here, the brunch food was ok, the room was wonderful, at the end the server gave my mother a bill for way more than the amount of people who attended, I did not even invite that many people. I showed her the envelopes I had each guest fill out there to show I only had a certain amount of people. The server said that means nothing to her and was extremely rude. I asked for the manager, they told us they've been doing this 6 years they know how to count, she then called my mother in law a liar which upset her so much. So we paid to avoid further conferntation, the next day we then found out she gave us the wrong bill, charged us for dinner which is a lot more, and for more people. I hope they feel really stupid for making my parents so upset and accusing us of lying when they were giving us the wrong bill. I had a great time with my firends and family at my shower but that certainly ruined the rest of my day!!!

Very disappointed

My family attended a wedding there today, July 24th, and everything was going great until almost the end of the evenings festivities. While we were all on the dance floor, the staff swooped in and cleared everything off of our table, taking drinks that we were not finished with…at least 4 or 5 drinks. And it’s not like our table looked empty…purses; clothing and other personal items were still there. And while it shouldn’t have been a big deal, the bar was then closed. I spoke to a manager there and while she offered to replace my drink, she totally missed the point, you don’t clear a table while peoples personal items are still there. It ruined the night and for that reason I have to tell potential bookings to stay away from Lucarelli’s.

Run the other way.

I was there for a wedding August 2021 Worst service I’ve ever encountered in a banquet. They Lacked hospitality, and customer service. The staff were rude, they served the food with an attitude and than take the food back before people even finished eating. It was so embarrassing when the guest told me they are taking the food before they finished eating. The manager Janice was the worst not accommodating at all. Helping my sister with the wedding so that there’s no stress on the bride I was there to make sure everything went smoothly. The bride needed help w/her dress before she walked into the hall and Janice would not let her use a closed off hallway to the side. There’s so much more, From not turning down the A/C to not pulling out an extra table when asked, from giving the D.J and the wedding decorator a hard time. The list goes on. FIND ANOTHER VENUE.

Poor customer service. Very rushed

Hosted my friends Bridal Shower here this weekend, WHAT A DAY! She was 25 minutes late to the event (it is what it is) The rest of the guests were there and mingling as with any type of shower. We were scheduled for brunch at noon anyways - as we are walking in the staff is talking about our bride to be making snide remarks about how she wasn't even there yet. My friend kindly pointed out she was standing right there. Then after everyone sat down to eat they took the remaining plates from the buffet. Not even giving our guests who had stepped out to use the bathroom a chance to eat. They took the food too early as well - again, people came and didn't even get to eat (so glad we paid for that headcount for the guests to not even eat, we had a two year old picking off scraps of family members because of it). I asked to speak with a manger only to find out SHE WAS THE ONE TALKING POORLY OF OUR BRIDE IN FRONT OF HER!!! She refused to even discuss the issues and said that's not what happened. REGARDLESS if you meant it to be rude or not you shouldn't be speaking of customers that way whether it be in front of them or their guests. Then while we were opening gifts they were in the room cleaning up (WE HAD AN HOUR LEFT) by the time we were done the room was completely broken down and our punches which we paid extra for were dumped. The cake was tossed out without asking if we wanted to keep it as well. Overall, terrible customer service. I was appalled. We will see if we get a return call about our complaints, I doubt i though. Oh and my last pet peeve, how do you not have an elevator? We had to make multiple trips up and downstairs (again, bridal shower - no men, women in heels, one of us 6 months pregnant, up and down 2 flights of stairs with gifts)

If you are reading any good reviews about this place, trust me - it's owners or family of Lucarelli's writing it. Last week (unfortunately Claddagh House chooses this dump to celebrate the holidays), we were served mangled gristle with bits of indescribable bits of meat attached. Nine people at the table and 5 slices of bread. At least we got bread instead of halved hot dog rolls this time. The cabbage had to have been reheated several times by the look of it. We could not eat this after spending a good amount of money. Dessert is packaged frozen laid out and a 1/4 cup of ice milk. If you wanted coffee, tea or soda you had to get it yourself after making your way through meandering, close tables. Did these owners ever think of hiring a chef? The food has always been garbage but now the service is even more terrible. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does! Do not even think of this place - the health dept. should shut it down.
