Could not recommend working with Alex more! Our bridal party had EIGHT children, and our dog, and somehow Alex handled all of the chaos while bringing the most calming energy all day. He was patient, professional, and able to turn stressful moments into the funniest and happiest moments of our day. His work speaks for itself, but if you are looking for a photographer to take charge of the day in a fun, encouraging, and effortless way—someone who makes everyone feel comfortable and captures genuine joy—Alex is your person. -

Before even mentioning how incredibly professional Alexander is and how he is so obviously passionate about his work and clients, it's important to highlight just how great of a person he is! Every second from our initial call, to our engagement shoot, to our big day, Alexander made us feel like we were long time friends! He's warm, welcoming, makes you feel right at ease, and does not miss an opportunity to go above and beyond in the way a life-long friend would.
Beyond being a genuinely incredible person, he's just as much a truly talented and amazing photographer. His work for our engagement shoot was just incredible; we used several of his shots as decorations at our reception and had compliments from dozens of our guests on them.
He brings a positive, upbeat energy wherever he goes with you, is great at both offering and taking guidance, and was always available to communicate. My wife and I cannot recommend Alexander enough! Thank you for making us always feel like your #1 priority and for so thoughtfully and creatively capturing the most joyful moments of our life! -

Alexander is truly a wonderful photographer! He was recommended by our venue (Crossed Keys Estate) and we hired him to do our engagement photos, our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Throughout the entire process he was very easy to communicate with, responded quickly and truly listened to what we wanted as a couple, which to us was extremely important. Along the way he gave us ideas, tips and recommendations but at the end of the day he was there for us to help us get the most that we wanted out of all of our events. As the bride, he was prepared to help me all day with tips and tricks. He knew our venue like the back of his hand, was prepared all day to get the best shots and is shows in our photos. He is very professional and also FUN to work with! We enjoyed all of the time that we spent with him, as did our guests. Last but certainly not least, we LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos!!! If you're thinking about using Alexander, you absolutely should- you will be glad you did!!! -

Our Favorite Vendor!
There is only one word that can be used to describe Alex, INCREDIBLE! He was so amazing to work with for our engagement photos in July of 2021 and our wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are complete opposites when it comes to being in front of the camera. Alex made us both feel so comfortable and had us laughing the entire time! He prioritizes his clients and even learns personal things about you to make your interactions even more special. Do not wait to book Alex, he'll become your favorite vendor just like he became ours! -

We knew of Alexander and his insane photography skills from my (now) husband's best friend's wedding he was a groomsmen in. Both being photography hobbyists ourselves, we knew even before we got engaged that we were going to hire Longbrook Photography for our engagement and wedding day pictures. Alexander is a very technical shooter and he understands lighting and how to capture not just a photo -- but the moment! He has a journalistic style because he doesn't tend to stage anything or go into intense posing... He captures a lot of action and the real emotions of his couples. In addition, you will not find his photos insanely edited or with strong color filters which is something we love as well. The filters of today's wedding photos are definitely a style -- but to us they do not feel timeless and being able to maintain the colors of scene just as we remembered the day is something we really love about Alexander's work as well. We also really loved the second shooter, Zach, who Alexander brought on as a second shooter for our wedding. They both have very similar style of shooting and we just adore every single photo!
Alexander as a guy (meaning aside from his superhero photographer abilities) is extremely chill and personable! He has become somewhat of a friend over the course of the two years we spent planning the wedding. He is really easy-going, laid back, creative and funny! We loved during our engagement session with him getting to do some unplanned photos in a rain storm which came out beautiful. He loves to tell a good dad joke and really gets everyone to feel comfortable being in front of the camera with him. As my husband would say, "Alexander is a solid dude!" :-)
Pricing in our mind for a photographer was not something we cared to bargain about as the photos are to be the memories that live on for future generations - they are extremely important for your wedding day. Alexander definitely understands that and he works incredibly hard for his couples to deliver beautiful, unique work all while using the top equipment in the industry. His services are well worth it! In addition to getting high quality files of the pictures, he also handles prints/albums which is super easy and hassle-free.
With that, you should hire him!! Thank you Alexander for such amazing photos that will last us a lifetime! We love ya! -

Kaitlin Sent on 11/21/2017I cannot say enough great things about working with Alexander!!! Not only is his work absolutely gorgeous, but he is just an amazing person! My husband and I both consider ourselves to be awkward, especially when it comes to taking pictures, but he made our engagement shoot and wedding day so much fun. We just got our pictures back, and I cannot stop looking at them. Our wedding day flew by, and he captured the day perfectly, so it was amazing to reflect on them and re-live the day! If you're hesitant to spend a little extra on photography, I say do it because he is worth every penny!! So grateful we got to work with him!!

My husband (fiance at the time) and I spoke with a couple photographers about our wedding and Alexander was the only photographer who really understood what we wanted and we felt so comfortable carrying a conversation with him. During our nuptial mass, neither I nor my parents noticed Alexander moving around the church taking photographs (though he took so many amazing photograph!! Where was he?!). When we took pictures afterwards, he really wanted to take pictures that weren't "typical" and we both really appreciated that! After our wedding day, I wasn't sure how nice the pictures would turn out and was a little nervous (considering my husband and I aren't that photogenic). Our pictures just came in and I'm blown away. He was able to capture our wedding day so perfectly. There were certain moments that I didn't even realize he had captured (ex. when my husband and I went to the balcony of our reception to dance alone together). I am so thankful I chose Alexander as our wedding photographer. His prices were a little higher than I had hoped to spend, but it was well worth every dollar spent. Absolutely would recommend Alexander, every time. -

Lisa Sent on 01/08/2014Our wedding was held in Texas. The wedding itself was held at St. Anne Catholic Church in Houston. The wedding coordinator at the church was extremely difficult to work with. Not only did Alexander work with with the wedding coordinator in a professional manor- he was able to capture the mass in a reverent manor that was both beautiful and artistic. We have a lot of rowdy friends - that love to have a good time. Alexander was able to capture the personalities of our friends and party - without even knowing anyone. This is not a talent many people posses. His style is ever timeless and extremely creative! You will love nearly every shot he takes.
As an amateur photographer - I do not claim to know everything about photography. But what I do know about style and creativity - was captured in these photos.
Your wedding day is not something you want to leave to chance when it comes to photography. That is why I would recommend LongBrook photography to any and all of my friends.
