  Lindee was heaven sent. I shopped around with my sisters, but not one gown ever felt like it was for me. With some internet research I found Lindee and I'm so glad I did. We met several times for fittings to get it just right. She is a perfectionist with her craft---exactly the person you want making the most important dress of your life! Her suggestions were on point, and she really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I always looked forward to our visits since she is such a wonderful person. Bonus: I felt great knowing that the material used to make my gown was easy on the environment and sustainable. I recommend speaking to her about your gown way in advance since she can get busy and the creative process takes time. I was so thrilled with the end result. Every single person at my wedding (seriously) said how gorgeous my dress was and a few girls asked how they could get in touch with Lindee before we even cut the cake! If you want a one-of-a-kind gown that's eco chic and you appreciate the creative process of working with an artist, Lindee will not disappoint.

  I loved working with Lindee and I am beyond thrilled with the new family heirloom she made me. I knew that I wanted my gown to be made in America with sustainable, organic materials. Lucky for me, this is ALL that Lindee works with! One of the many things I appreciate about Lindee is her commitment to ethical sourcing and philanthropy. She never compromises on her gowns, and they are radiant because of it. (I think all the happy and healthy vibes she puts into them don't hurt, either!)
  
  Lindee is also possibly the most patient woman I've ever met. I found her far in advance of my wedding with TONS of very, very different ideas for my gown. She patiently and thoroughly examined the merits of each of my ideas, including using recycled fabric, pieces of my mother's upcycled (pink!) wedding gown, even hand tatting that has been in my family for generations. She walked me through the construction of potential designs, and what would look best with the fabric I selected. We ended up using one of her signature designs, the Rebekah, as our starting point, and we worked from there until everything was just right. She spent so much time on me, and I am so grateful for her attention to detail, her professionalism, and her care that I got just exactly what I wanted.
  
  I really feel like I struck gold with Lindee. She taught me so much about fashion industry and how her little shop is doing its part to be more sustainable, ethical, and conscientious at every turn (ask her about peace silk, and have your mind blown!). Six months later I'm still getting compliments on my gown. It was so comfortable, so me, and it felt so good to wear a handmade, ethical gown. I even wore it to a reception our families co-hosted a few months later, and it was spectacular to show off the crafts-womanship of what Lindee created, and to feel how beautiful I felt on my wedding day all over again. If you want an ethical, truly magical gown, look no further than Lindee!

  I found Lindee's dresses through a retailer in Pittsburgh and fell in love with her style and materials. The peace silk and organic cotton she uses is the softest most comfortable thing you will ever wear, you will never want to take it off (and it's eco-friendly too! yay!). I fell in love with one of her dresses but it wasn't quite right for my body type and wedding style (hiking to a waterfall) so I decided to email her on the off chance she would reply. Within minutes she called me and I could tell she was one of the sweetest most genuine people ever. We started brainstorming ideas about how to make the dress fit my needs. She had wonderful ideas and we decided to move forward. We had multiple phone conversations to discuss details and size. I know Lindee is a very busy woman but she always took time out to talk to me and make sure I was happy with the process. She even sent me a muslin base of the top part so we could see how the cut was working and to get the measurements more accurate. She had me pin it on and video turning in a circle so she could see it from every angle. My husband pulled it a little too tight and I ended up having to get it let out slightly (at no fault of Lindee's) so that is one thing to be aware of. Just make sure you are comfortable in it and you should be fine! I would recommend Lindee to anyone and everyone (and I have). She made the process so fun and exciting that I will always cherish it.

  I was not a bride who always knew what she wanted - so when it came time to plan, the wedding dress, for me, needed to both fit the elements of place and my own personal style. After trying on countless dresses by Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Jenny Packham and other designers - I could not seem to find the perfect dress. After many emails to designers such as Veluz, Paolo Sebastian, and my reach designer Ellie Saab, I found myself gravitating to Lindee. After all, it was her Laya dress in Indigo that was featured in Pacific Weddings Magazine that made me to reach out to her (and you should always go with your first gut reaction to a dress!). The decision itself was not tough - working with Lindee was such an amazing experience from the beginning. The scariest part was knowing we were going to create a dress, which only seemed to put more pressure on the perfection required. From start to finish and a weekend in LA, only two months before my wedding, we conquered 'The Dress'. Lindee does not just promote eco and sustainable - she lives the lifestyle and it is clear, it is close to her heart. Not deviating from this is a true testament of her passion to design beautiful dresses while promoting sustainability and positive change.   Lindee is amazing. Her dresses are amazing and I am so glad I found her. My wedding was in Scotland and I traveled with my dress from the US to Scotland and it was still perfect. She was always easily reachable if I had questions about care for my dress. I will treasure my dress forever. I hope that someday I will need another dress from her just so I have the pleasure of having another one of her creations.

I went on a girls trip out to LA and she actually came to my hotel room to do a fitting with me about 2 months before my wedding. The dress was gorgeous. I would definitely work with Lindee again and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

I spent several weeks shopping around Los Angeles for my wedding gown with my mom, aunt and friends (not all at one time thankfully) but nothing seemed to reach out to me. I struggled with wanting something affordable, not wasteful, yet still original and pretty. At some point during my search, my family came across my grandmother's gown, as well as my mom's. I did some researching and found Lindee listed with characteristics like "sustainable fabric" and "green wedding gowns". This made me excited as I've often felt so many gowns are created, loved, but then never used again.
  
  I met with Lindee and showed her my gowns along with some ideas and photos of what I hoped to achieve. Lindee was very straight-forward with me about cost and length of time for construction. The process is quite fun if you can be patient and trusting of Lindee's expertise. The first several meetings I tried on mock versions of what would eventually be my gown. Each meeting with Lindee was enjoyable because of her kind and professional work ethic, but also because I allowed myself to enjoy the creative process with her. After a few months we finally got to the place where we'd use my actual fabric to construct my gown. With the silk from my grandmother's dress and the lace of my mother's, Lindee constructed a beautiful wedding dress for me. It was everything I hoped for. My family and I are so incredibly thankful for Lindee and the energy she put into making our family heirlooms continue on to the next generation.

  I chose Lindee Daniel's Lauren gown for my wedding. Lindee designed and made my dress to my measurements.
  
  I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The dress was an absolute show stopper -- it has a LOT of movement, the organic silk/organza blend that Lindee uses is procured from India and has an exceptional shine in light, perfect for our outdoor wedding. The look was tender, rustic and elegant.
  
  We added some customized elements which demonstrated Lindee's wonderful design sense. I gave the broad outlines and she found the fabrics that worked perfectly with the dress. And the value is incredible. If made by a major designer the dress would easily retail for $10,000 or more. The natural materials are comfortable and beautiful.
  
  Often, women have a hard time working with their dress designer. There is a lot of emotion involved on both sides. I had an experience that any girl could wish for. Lindee was incredibly professional, but also warm and friendly. I felt like I was working with a friend. She was incredibly thoughtful -- it NEVER felt like I was just a job or an order. She does her work with love, she made me feel special, and it all showed in the dress.
  
  She was also very forthcoming and flexible with arrangements. She worked around my schedule and physical location. She was very communicative. She comes from a business background which helps. The only thing to note is that she is becoming busy, so you may not get your dress many months in advance. If that is what you need, feel free to discuss upfront.
  
  All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend working with Lindee for your special day!

  Lindee made me an extraordinary wedding gown. My experience working with her could not have been better. She met with me several times over the course of making my dress, in order to ensure it was exactly what I wanted and fit me perfectly. She's a great listener. Everything about Lindee's process--from the gorgeous eco-sourced materials she uses, to her precision and attention to detail, to her lovely, friendly attitude--is exceptional.   I can't stress what a completely wonderful experience I had working with Lindee Daniel. Lindee worked with me on a custom order for my wedding in June '12. I was looking for a dress that I hadn't ever actually seen before. Lindee helped me form a picture of the right dress for me. She was very organized and patient with a process that I could see being easily overwhelming otherwise. She kept me informed of an overview of the dressmaking process and continually filled me in on things I would need to consider. Her transparency was refreshing and her passion kept our work together playful and fun. Her talent, impeccable detail, and enthusiasm stand out in a list of great traits you want your designer to have. My dress was very ME and so naturally flattering. It was by far the most complimented part of my wedding and played an essential part in the memory that we all carry of that day. I was lucky enough to have her there on my wedding day and her in-the-moment attention to detail left me with peace of mind and the ability to enjoy the unfolding of events. She worked with my husband on some little surprises for me that left me so touched and speechless. Needless to say she goes above and beyond! She makes things look easy and tackles it all with a smile. On top of all that, her dresses are eco-friendly and she gives a percentage of her profit to philanthropic causes.   I don't think I can write the right amount or quality of words to express how Lindee's mind and work ethic helped bring to life my wedding gown vision. She was extremely kind and thoughtful when it came to the finer touches and alterations I had in mind for her "Lauren" dress. I used to live in LA, but had to move during our dress making process, so she was very accommodating and savvy when it came to me having to fly cross country and do multiple quick fittings. Some of the ideas that we created together have also been used by her future clients, which was so awesome to see. All my guests as well as the wedding party couldn't believe how graceful and light the dress appeared on me.
  
  Lindee is the one-stop designer for all your eco-friendly/green dress dreams to be made into a reality! Anything you can think of can be made by her and you also help the environment in the process, pretty good blessing to have before you get married!!!

  I LOVED my dress and absolutely adore Lindee. She is one talented, eco-conscious, attentive, creative lady who makes you feel exactly how a bride should feel getting ready for her wedding. I saw her dresses last year and couldn't stop thinking about them and finally contacted her. She was quick to respond and once I put on the dress for the first time I knew it was the one. Lindee fitted me shortly after kept close contact with me for the following fittings. My dress was not only ready on time but she made sure it was perfect before I finally took it home. My wedding day was split into two parts with a morning ceremony and an evening reception. My dress was beyond perfect for the beach ceremony and felt more comfortable than my pajamas. I felt beautiful, comfortable and elegant barefoot for the morning and with a lil extra eyeliner and lipstick my dress was perfect for the evening ceremony too. The organic cotton moved freely but stayed up well for a strapless dress for a lot of dancing. I really could not be more in love with my dress. It is a perfect dress for the tiny and petite as well as the athletic tomboy. Just go try on any of Lindee's dresses and your search for the perfect dress will be over.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Lindee for giving my daughter a dress to match her style and personality in such a beautiful unique color. It was her dream come true.

  I got the Rebecca dress in cream. It was utterly gorgeous, from the texture of the silk to the draping of the skirts. Everyone who saw the dress really liked it and thought it was different from any dress they had seen before. It was comfortable to wear, and it turned out great in the photos.
  Some things to keep in mind:the dress is lined with a stiff organic cotton muslin, with no boning, in keeping with Lindee's concept of keeping everything natural. I am very small-busted, and I found that the muslin stretched out over time, which made the dress start to slip down. I had the bodice taken in, but it still got a little loose even after that--stayed up on my wedding day, though! If you are not close enough to do a fitting, when you send your measurements, do not be generous! That dress should be extremely snug, and it will stretch to fit you, like a pair of jeans.
  The dress looks really light and frothy in pictures, and it is a lot lighter weight than, say, a beaded dress. But there is a lot of fabric, so it's not something you can skip around in really easily. When I tried to lift the skirts so that I could walk, there were a million panels and skirts to gather up, and when I thought I'd gotten them all, one would slip out and fall down. Luckily the dress still looked graceful in pictures all gathered up like that, and oh...the million panels were worth it--they make the dress look interesting from every angle.
  The color of the dress is a "buttercream" color, which looked to me like French vanilla ice cream. I wore it with an ivory veil and it looked fine. But for the groom's shirt, I actually bought a light yellow color, because white would have been glowingly bright in comparison, and even ivory would have been pushing it.
  I had wanted to wear red shoes, but when holding up red next to the dress, I found that they actually didn't look that good for some reason, so I went with a fuschia-purple color, which contrasted more cheerfully. Gold metallic shoes also looked good in a more traditional way. For some reason, the dress also looked good with a light gray, slightly silvery color--for a natural, mixed neutrals look. It might be a color to consider for the groom's suit or anything else--I wouldn't have thought such a color would look good until I saw it with the dress.
  The silk has a bit of a crinkle to it, which makes it naturally easier to travel with, though you might want to bring a steamer for bigger wrinkles. Apparently you can iron out the crinkles if you don't like them, but I didn't try it.
  Lindee was just fabulous to work with and she was very concerned and caring about both my well-being and the dress's.
  It also made me feel really happy to be wearing an all-natural peace silk dress. And it was just the right mix of romantic and edgy. I highly recommend Lindee Daniel gowns.

  I started my dress hunting experience not thinking I was going to find anything I liked and I wouldn't have that "wow" moment when I found one worth purchasing. But when I saw Lindee Daniel's dress hanging on the rack I was like.. "WOW, This is a COOL dress" So unique, so elegant, so details, and so flippen cool.
  
  Her dress is very high quality and Lindee is very hands on with her designs, so I have no fear that it won't come out perfect!
  
  I highly recommend her dresses!

  Lindee Daniel was not only a joy to work with as a designer, but the gown completely met and exceeded my expectations. I had visited her studio to look at purchasing one of her sample gowns for my desert wedding and had fallen in love with one of her designs that was out of my budget. I didn't even dare try it on, but Lindee used her ingenuity to find a way to make it affordable to my budget. She found a way to replace silk with frothy organic cotton layers and actually ended up spending 2 hrs with me pinning a bodice so I could imagine what it looked like -- even though I hadn't yet committed to buying from her.
  
  I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and getting to wear a gown that is both beautiful and sensitive to the environment. Nothing like bringing good karma to my wedding! Given that it was custom there was a delay on the backend, but she made sure I was ready for my wedding day. She takes pride in her craftmanship and it really shows in the details of the dress. The entire gown experience was so much better than I imagined and I have received so many compliments on the dress. She's extremely talented. So thankful to her.

  Thank you for sharing your review here! I'm sorry to hear you were bothered by some of our process. A custom gown experience is often unpredictable on many levels. It requires flexibility on both parties. When I offer to work with a bride's budget, instead of full custom price, I make it clear in our terms that flexibility is paramount. It is the trade-off. Additionally, I thought we were both on the same page as far as our communication, since you weren't ready to make design decisions right away. I never want to add additional stress to a bride near her wedding day. I'm sorry! I enjoyed working with you, learning more about all the amazing things you do, and creating your one of a kind wedding gown! Wishing you much peace, love, and joy in life and marriage.

  I have tried emailing several times, I have called several times and all I get is a answering machine that is always full. I'm not even sure if she is still doing dresses.
