Our small guest list allowed us to spend quality time with each other and our guests danced all night. The space was perfect and our only regret is that we only get to get married once. Our wedding was on June 26, 2021 and it was the best day of our life and we had a blast! Lido Banquets & Events was clean, organized, food was great and everything well served. Andre was professional and I was 100% comfortable with our communication after my husband and I postponed our original wedding date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I have had dozens of family members call and compliment on how beautiful the hall was and how great the food and service was.

We looked at almost 20 vendors for our April wedding, and we got lucky with Lido Banquets. They had the best price for the best type of meal, and they accommodated so many things for us. First of all, they are located in Jefferson Park, right on Milwaukee, and we couldn't have picked a better location for us and our guests. The great thing about it was that there is only one banquet room. I was worried about sharing banquets with other wedding parties, and this is pretty much what sold me. The second HUGE thing about this banquet was the price. We looked at the menu options, and the Manager, Joanna, said we could either do Individual Plates, or Family Style, which is the same price......WAIT WHAAAAT? that was definitely the best menu pricing in the whole Chicago-Northwest Suburban area.

Other great things about Lido, were that they had a bridal suite/coat check (whichever one you wanted to use it as), a nice looking bar, a huge dance floor, and updated/easy-to-access bathrooms for our older guests. The tasting process was a bit unique, since they are only able to give you tastings when they have parties, but it makes sense, since they don't have a restaurant part, and they are mainly a banquet for special occasions.

We booked this banquet about a year before our wedding, and I am so glad we did, because it was definitely worth it! They gave you options of chair covers, colored napkins, uplighting, and they even have centerpieces that you can use! They made everything easy

We absolutely loved this banquet. We had our wedding reception here on Feb 6th 2016 and our guests were raving about how good the food was. They thought that Joanna our banquet manager did a great job. The hall was beautifully decorated, we had family style food, and open bar. The cake was included in the price. They had the best pricing and they were close to the church we got married at. This banquet hall only has one reception room for the whole place which is awesome because we didn't have to worry about another party being too loud or people getting confused between rooms.

Peter made sure the service for our wedding and reception was absolutely fabulous. I really appreciated all of the detailed attention that the staff provided to the wedding party as well as our guests. There was a winter storm the day of our wedding and the staff made our guests feel safe and provided us with impeccable service. I would definitely recommend Lido's Banquets to our friends.

Working with Peter at Lido banquets couldnt have been better! He is so kind and very proffesional. He gives you ideas and suggestions! The food was Amazing everyone I have spoken to about the wedding cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was! The staff were great and attentive!!! I will definetly be holding another event in the future at lido banquets! No only was it amazing food but its a great space and affordable!! Thank you so much in helping plan our amazing wedding

One of the greatest venues I have visited so far. Service was exceptional and honestly the best one can wish for a wedding day. Honestly I was just a guest but my wedding day is coming soon and I'm glad I already know where I'll be accommodating my friends and family. Hopefully the guyz will earn one more positive review ;)

I had my wedding reception at the Lido this past August and my husband and I are extremely happy that we choose this banquet facility. We were treated from the very start with understanding of how exactly we wanted our wedding to look. The owner was able to provide us with suggestions and assist us in any questions we may of had. We were looking to have an elegant but yet not an over expensive wedding and that is EXACTLY what we had. The food was AMAZING and the service was very attentive. The room was decorated beautifully for our event and all of our guests were complimenting us on our choice. I was able to communicate with the owner prior to the wedding and then his wife during our wedding reception, we never felt unattended!!!! I would definately choose Lido banquets again, and again!!!

Great banquet hall for virtually any venue. I booked the Lido Banquest for my wedding back in September. The great perk is their manu. Everything is high quality but still affordable.

The Lido is a really good value and a beautiful venue. Peter was flexible with whatever we needed and the food was great!!

We were an out of town couple so all of our decisions were based on email/phone calls (and 1 visit by my now husband). I had done my research and found 2 venues that I thought would be perfect for us, my husband was in Chicago for business and I told him go see each place and let me know which one you like better. He came back and said that without a doubt Lido was the place for us! We were on a budget as we were paying for everything ourselves and it was important that we included an open bar in our package. Lido does a great job of working with you and they don't try to nickel and dime you! The prices are great and the service is even better, we loved the family style meal - it helped cut down on our cost and it was great for our guests, they even gave the tables seconds if they wanted it! What other venue does that!!!! They worked with our DJ and my mom who came in a bit early to set up our decorations. Everyone there was so nice and really worked to make our wedding reception special. My guests all raved about the bartenders and their amazing service!!! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place to host a reception!!!

I had the pleasant expierence of having my wedding reception at the Lido and i have to say that all of my expectations were completely met. I was reasured by the mgr./owner that I would not be disappointed w/the food and the way the banquet room was set up for my special day. The food was very tastey and the waiters and waiteress were friendly and accomodating to me and my husband. I would refer the Lido to anyone at anytime for any occasion.

Plan to take time over multiple weeks to do the tasting as they only have food available on the days there are events. The food was all very good, service was good and the space was beautifully decorated. We got a lot of compliments

Our wedding party was small and Lido banquets was very close to us so we decided to have our wedding there. Everything was great. We expected a little bit more from the venue concerning the service and the choice of food, but overall everything was fine.
