Amazing Engagement Photos!

My fiance and I recently worked with Leah Jean Photography for our engagement photos in Boston and we are extremely glad we did! Leah truly helped put us at ease for our first session in front of a camera. We were also impressed with her eye for spots and poses that yielded some pretty incredible photos that we'll be able to cherish for years. We had a great time working with Leah for our wedding. She truly has a passion for her work and wants to get the best photos that she can, with a great eye for taking interesting and stunning photos. She is friendly and easy to work with, and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
She is also flexible and generous with her time - we were rained out twice for our engagement shoot, and she was able to accommodate us to make sure we got everything done in time. Highly recommended!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Leah and Rachael. Their work is fantastic, their photos are timeless! One of the best work that I have ever seen! My husband and I could not be happier with the end result!

So happy that we chose Leah to photograph our wedding. She was amazing in every way. She made us feel very comfortable,took amazing shots and we received our pictures within weeks. Leah is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. She was amazing from the very beginning. Her photos are stunning. Her ability to keep the entire group on track is off the charts. She constantly kept a smile on her face during the entire process even when some of us got difficult to work with! We worked with Leah both for engagement photos and for an entire wedding day. We had about 3 hours for wedding photos and I would definitely recommend future brides to give themselves plenty of time for wedding day photos! She stayed until the end of the reception and she even got some cool reception photos laying down in the middle of dance circles! It was amazing. I also want to compliment Rachael (studio manager) and her second shooter Allison. Both were phenomenal and were so pleasant to work with! Rachael and Leah were so sweet they event sent us a gift after our wedding! Leah was the star of the show and many people complimented us on our photographer. I will continue to reach out to Leah for future photography needs and am so happy I found her!

Leah Jean Photography was wonderful to work with! They helped us to think through the timeline of our wedding day, which really made the day go so much more smoothly. The pictures turned out beautiful. Leah Jean found different spots at the venue and outside that had great lighting that I wasn't expecting that looked great in the pictures. Leah was phenomenal to work with. Right from the start, she was so flexible in finding time to meet up with us and was very responsive throughout the process. The photos on her website instantly impressed me and I was so surprised at how affordable her packages were. She does much better work than some photographers out there who charge an arm and a leg, and she's more talented! Leah brought a lot of energy to our wedding day and even stayed all the way through to the end. She wasn't afraid to get on the floor or climb on chairs, whatever it took to get the best shot. Leah is a very talented photographer with a great eye. We did both our engagement and wedding shots with her. The attention that she and her team gave us when we were reviewing and editing shots for our album was awesome as well. They made great recommendations and listened patiently to all of our input. We were so happy with how our pictures turned out.

Leah recently did our engagement photos and spent 3+ hours with us. I felt very relaxed and not rushed at all during our session. She was extremely responsive, professional and so sweet throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Not to mention she is reasonably priced for the quality of work you receive. It was truly evident she is passionate about her clients (even our 4 legged babies who weren't so cooperative in the 100+ degree heat). I highly recommend utilizing Leah for any of your photography needs. She was exceptional to work with and I cannot say enough good things about her!

Leah is very professional and great photographer! My wife loved Leah from the beginning and especially after the wedding day. We both felt so comfortable and relaxed with Leah. On the wedding day Leah had a lot of energy and did an amazing job staying within the schedule. Everything went great! We love the wedding pictures! Leah was such a wonderful photographer. From the engagement shoot, the ceremony, first look, and reception she was wonderful!!! Out of all the vendors I selected for my wedding, Leah was the one I was most pleased with. Not only was she sweet and made us feel so comfortable, the pictures we received were nothing short of breathtaking. Leah is truly an artist the way she captures memories, emotion and light in her images. Also, the photo album she created for us was incredible! She allowed me to customize every detail with her and when I received the final product I was blown away. Everyone who sees the album she made for us is struck by its unique beauty and quality. I cannot say how much I enjoyed and appreciated having Leah be a part of my wedding.

I cannot say enough about working with Leah jean. Our wedding day was an unexpectedly humid mid-90 degree day and despite everyone's discomfort, Leah captured the most amazing moments. She was professional, creative, hard-working and fun. My wedding party couldn't believe what she would do to get a good shot...at one point lying on her back shooting upward! When we recieved the proofs it was like the best Christmas morning....shot after shot were like brand new gifts that truly reflected the love and joy we felt that day! You will so pleased to work with Leah jean that I promise you will not only use her again for other occasions...you will want to reccomend her to others, she is simply the BEST!

Leah Jean is phenomenal!! Not only are her pictures breath taking but she's fantastic about telling you how to turn and position. First she did our engagement shoot which was fantastic and so much fun! At our wedding she and her second shooter Aldrin were amazing they got great shots and went way above and beyond! Leah exceeded all expectations. She is a true artist and a wonderful person! Leah was tireless in her efforts and put a great deal of thought and preparation into our wedding photographs. She picked wonderfully picturesque locations throughout Manhattan! It's amazing what she can do with a camera. I have never seen such unique and aesthetic wedding photographs. I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion! Especially a wedding in NYC. We had ours at the St. Regis and Leah captured our wonderful memories with tremendous skill and always with a smile. My husband and I decided to plan a wedding in a week...yes, a week : ). When he said, "hey, let's just do it!" I was completely on board despite the fact that we didn't have a venue, an officiant, a cake, flowers, a hair stylist, etc. etc...except for one thing- I had to find an extraordinary photographer before I would book our flights. Being a wedding photographer myself, I was afraid this would be impossible but as soon as I saw her website, I knew Leah Jean would be perfect. And when I told her "umm...we don't know where. And we don't know what day. And we don't know what time," she was completely understanding and helpful and not only gave us ideas for the area, she also said, "Just let me know- I'll keep the week open!"
She was a dream to work with and by the end of the day, I knew I had met a lifelong friend. Her images blew my husband and I away, and every time we look at them, not only can we "see" our perfect day, but we can also "feel" it. Our day was perfection. Thank you Leah Jean Photography!

Great experience working with Leah! We had a very small wedding with less than 30 people and she was able to give us a very reasonable rate and still capture all the important moments. We did a "first look" session and it really made the rest of the evening more relaxing. We did all group photos, bridesmaid, groomsmen, family and bride/groom photos before the ceremony. It took about an hour. Our ceremony started at 6pm and, by the time we were finished, it was dark outside so I am glad we were able to get some great outside photos. We did take a few pictures inside the church, but we were able to get to the reception pretty shortly after the ceremony.

I had only booked Leah for a limited number of hours, but when it was time for her to leave she found me and asked if I wanted her to stay longer. I was so glad she did this because, if not, she would have missed the first dances and cake cutting. I definitely booked her for a few more hours!

We were able to view our gallery online about 5 weeks after the wedding. We got a USB with all our photos after that. They are very high quality and I love looking at them.

I would definitely recommend Leah to anyone. I think she did a fantastic job!

Leah Jean Photography did an amazing job with our engagement photos and wedding photography! Leah and her husband Joe were wonderful on the day of the wedding and captured our day perfectly! Leah went out of her way to help us get wonderful engagement photos after being rained out twice and in planning sites for wedding day photos. Leah was always quick to response when contacted and very comfortable to work with. Photography was the most important part of our wedding budget. We met Leah at a wedding convention and her personality won us over...then we saw her art. At our first meeting we were amazed by the quality and beauty. I would hang Leah's pictures of other peoples weddings in my house they are so good. At the wedding, she was everywhere. Stopping traffic, laying in aisles, hanging from rafters, Leah sure knows the best angle. Our pictures bring us to tears they are so magical. Somehow she caught every single moment of our wedding and reception. Our wedding pictures are works of art. They are perfect. Leah is great, we made a great family friend and have a family photographer for life. I would recommend her to everyone. We have (and very few do) a GREAT "wedding photographer" story. We had such a wonderful time with Leah. From our engagement session to our wedding, Leah shot beautiful pictures of everyone. From day one of our wedding planning process, my husband and I knew that photography was the most important aspect. The photos from our day would tell our story for years to come - they had to be perfect! Leah was introduced to us through mutual friends. I knew the second I saw her work that she was the one. Leah photographed our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. She has a brilliant eye and the ability to catch each and every special moment as they happen through the day. We did not have a videographer and, truly, I don't regret it. I can remember and share our day perfectly because of all of Leah's beautiful photos! The wedding album she created is amazing - the attention and detail she put into it show. I have received numerous compliments on it. Our relationship with Leah didn't end after our wedding. A few years have now past and Leah is still in our lives. She now photographs us as a family with our little boy. Leah truly is...THE BEST! You will not be disappointed.

Everyone says the wedding day flies by and ours was no exception. Leah Jean captured more than just pictures of the day. Somehow she was able to convey all the emotion and atmosphere too. I love that I can flip through our album and remember our wedding like it was yesterday. Leah Jean is crazy talented and takes the most gorgeous pictures! She worked with us every step of the way and was such a joy to be around! The decision to have her as our photographer was the best choice we made for our wedding!

Leah Jean is Amazing! Photography was one of the most imporant things to us when planning our wedding and we are so happy we found Leah. She perfectly captured our wedding day...you can really feel the emotion in each of the photographs. Leah and Joe (her husband and our second shooter) worked so hard the day of our wedding to make sure they captured every moment. She makes amazing wedding albums as well and I definitely recommend getting a package with an album. I can't say enough good things. In addition to being a truly talented photographer, she is so sweet and was wonderful throught the whole wedding process.

Every single person who has seen our wedding photographs has been truly impressed by them. Leah is professional and so talented...and absolutely worth the investment.

Leah Jean is AMAZING! My friend used her for her wedding and that night I knew she had to photograph ours. Her pictures are so beautiful and she always makes them look so unique and classic. I just love her work. She is also such a great and fun person to work with. She definitely went above and beyond what we would have ever expected. I can not recommend Leah Jean Photography any higher. She really captured every moment for us. She was in tune with exactly what we wanted and knew exactly how to interacte with all the guests, young and old. All the guests could not stop raving about her, and could not wait to see the pictures. And boy they did not disappoint. She was always in constant communication with me after the affair until the day we received our album. I would fly her across the country to shoot my wedding, and I can't wait to fly back from California to have her shoot our family one day.

Leah's work is ART. If you look at her work around my house, it is not just a picture but actual art. She captures not just the person in the moment but the actual moment. I have been able to relive those very special moments in my life through her incredible photography capturing those moments. Best photographer I have ever had.

My husband and I feel extremely blessed to have meet Leah Jean. Her work was exactly what we were looking for and we were so pleased with her lovely personality too. I had an image that I wanted to capture so that I could remember this day forever, but she did much much more. She has an amazing eye that can see a moment and envision it perfectly. Absolutely every picture was in the moment, and her products are so amazing and designed from her heart. We will be using her as our family photographer for ever moment going forward. Leah went above and beyond what was required of her!! She is not only an amazing photographer, she is also a sweet caring person. My wedding wouldnt have been as beautiful if she wasnt there to make it happen. She captures every moment and also stays calm and under control if things arent running as smoothly as imagined. Leah Jean was absolutely fabulous! After seeing her work and meeting with her, my husband and I decided we wanted her to capture our wedding day. Leah totally exceeded our expectations! Her attention to detail along with her creativity Is incredible! Leah is very sweet and has a great personality that made us feel very comfortable. Leah was the very last person to leave our reception, she even took some late night photos of us. Her dedication is outstanding! Many of our friends and family have been very impressed with the quality of our photos. We have received so many compliments. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos! We discovered Leah at the World Golf Village Bridal Show, and immediately fell in love with her work. It was creative, colorful, and most importantly you could tell that she really cared about the quality of the photos. Leah was very flexible with our engagement shoot, as we had to reschedule due to weather. And on the day of the wedding she rolled with all of the changed timelines and unexpected things that popped up (which always happen no matter how carefully you plan). What I really can't say enough about is the quality of the engagement book and wedding album. All of our friends and family have been blown away by how beautiful they both are, and even a year later my husband and I really enjoy flipping through and remembering that day. I would recommend Leah Jean Photography to any bride who wants to have beautiful photos taken by someone who truly cares about her clients.

Leah creates wonderful pictures! She did both my engagement and wedding photos. The engagement book has my favorite pictures of my husband and I. She really captured us as a couple and our style. There were so many beautiful wedding photos to choose from! Leah is great!
