We loved our wedding cake from them! I actually grew up nearby and had always seen Le Gateau Elegant, but had never actually gone in until our wedding planner recommended them. Karen was so sweet, professional, easy to work with, and responsive to all of my questions. We sent her a few pictures of cakes that we thought were pretty, and she gave us estimates on price and made some suggestions on how to balance aesthetics and our budget. Karen gave us a complimentary tasting box with 16 flavors, 2 substantial pieces of each, which was so much fun trying with our parents. We ended up choosing a 3-tier tiramisu cake with buttercream frosting, which was supplemented by a sheet cake. The cake turned out beautifully and, thanks to Karen's help, we were able to use two cake toppers. The cake was also delicious. We will definitely be back for other sweet treats! -

Karen from Le Gateau Elegant was very responsive and great to work with. She prepared an amazing tasting box for us and we had such a difficult time choosing between all the amazing flavors. Karen and her team made our wedding cake and several additional desserts. The cake was beautiful - exactly what we had asked for and both the cakes and desserts were absolutely delicious. Our guests loved them! I would definitely recommend Le Gateau Elegant and look forward to being back in the area to have the opportunity to stop by the bakery for some treats! -

Delicious and beautiful cake!
After doing a few cake tastings, we knew that the cake at Le Gateau Elegant was the best and most moist we had tasted during our rounds. Karen was really easy to work with and she saw our vision very easily. We had 2 different flavors in our 3 tiered cake, which I am very glad we did to give people options between chocolate and the princess. Many of our guests at the wedding had multiple slices of cake because it was so good. Karen did an amazing job! -

Prices are reasonable for the high quality super moist cake and fabulous filling. The final product looked amazing. It tasted super moist and looked great. Cake was delivered to the venue on time. No issues that I'm aware of and that is how it should be. -

We had a lot of left overs and my family that lives locally made it a point to stop by and get cake constantly until it was gone!! It was also beautifully made! -
User873118 Sent on 07/23/2012All I can say about my cake is WOW. I heard from several vendors Le Gateau Elegant was the way to go if you want something glamorous for a cake and boy did they deliever! I wanted a girly cake with pink, sparkle and a bow. The cake was breath taking and went above and beyond my expectations. At the end of the day, was it a lot of money for the cake? Yes. Was it worth it? Without a doubt.

Talk about over 10 different cake options we sampled with complimentary coffee/latte, and water...I was in heaven! The cakes are really yummy and everyone at our wedding raved about how good our cake was. Check them out! -

Lisa Sent on 10/12/2010The tasting here was great! They give you so many options to taste. They also gave us coffee which was great with the cake. We had a rather simple 3 tier cake with minimal designs, but still beautiful! We loved it as well as everyone who came. I had my own florist decorate the cake with fresh flowers. The cost was a bit expensive, but you really pay for what you want. The quality is beyond excelent! Everyone at the shop is so kind and just want to give you what you want!
