Our wedding was originally scheduled for 04.04.2020 and because of COVID-19, we pushed our wedding date to 06.06.2020 at the last minute. Bri and the entire Larkin's team was amazing and extremely understanding and flexible throughout the many, many changes. We had venue changes (needed to be larger to social distance), date changes, time of day changes, menu changes, vendor changes, guest count changes and the Larkin's team handled every situation with grace and professionalism. Our event was breathtaking and all of our details were executed with perfection. The Larkin's team were extremely creative with our menu and coming up with individual servings (Covid again) and came up with the most gorgeous grazing table during cocktail hour that was filled with nuts, meats, deviled eggs, cheeses and individual charcuterie boards. The food was absolutely delicious. We went with beef tenderloin carving station and shrimp and grits station and could not have been happier with our selections. For late night they brought out gourmet grilled cheeses and chicken & waffle skewers. My wedding was literally a dream that I wish that I could relive over and over again. I highly recommend Larkins and specifically Bri Sizemore. We literally couldn't have done this event without her.

Great service and great food!
Larkins catered our daughter's wedding which was held at the Huguenot downtown Greenville. As I was gathering quotes from other vendors, they were very quick with the initial phone calls to discuss menus and provide quotes. As we continued to work on the menu, they consistently responded quickly with any changes. They were easy to work with all along the way and we were very happy with the quality of our food and with the staff that worked the event. We got numerous compliments from our guests! The only hicupp was that we chose three food stations and they ended up being set up as a buffet. This caused a line that slowed the meal down. Partly my fault because I did not discuss the exact set up. But the guests all seem to take it in stride and the food and service were great so it all worked out. I would definitely recommend Larkin's!

Larkin's Reception Catering
My husband and I (and all of our wedding guests!) were absolutely blown away by Larkin's. From the first moment we met with Emily and did our tasting to the very end of our reception, we had an amazing experience. The food is incredible and Emily was able to accommodate and customize a menu for us. We were incredibly satisfied with the bar package, hors d'oeuvres, and small plate stations we chose. Emily was incredibly flexible as we made several changes leading up to our wedding day. We highly recommend Larkin's to anyone looking for an event caterer!

Larkin's for a rehearsal dinner event
Mara and the staff were just exceptional. Our guests were treated so well and the staff was very attentive and kind and just an absolute pleasure to work with. The wait staff and bartender worked so well together and the events of the evening were seamless. Mara and her team were so respectful of our memorable evening and never imposed but were always there to attend to my guests and make us all feel very welcome! And lastly, the food was delicious! All the guests raved about the food.

Larkin's Catering for our wedding at the Wyche Pavilion
Larkins and our rep Casey Finnen just helped make our wedding the most magical day ever down at the Wyche Pavilion in Greenville, SC! Casey has done so many weddings and had fabulous advice, and she is so organized it took the pressure off of us! The food was fabulous, the service was wonderful and every detail was covered from start to finish! I highly recommend using these folks! You won't be disappointed!

A Fairy Tale Experience
Larkin's has many venues to choose from but the Sawmill really exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with the wonderful views of the rock wall, indoor foundation, fireplace, and the overall intimacy and coziness of the main & patio rooms. The food was delicious and Bri, our Sales Manager, was by our side every step of the planning process, even when our wedding had to be postponed due to Covid-19.

Bri Sizemore Sales/ Event Manager Larkins
Bri and Larkins were amazing! We planned the wedding over a year ago and had to change our original date of May 30th. We moved it to July 19, which unfortunately was during the COVID spike!! Larkins and Bri did everything they could to follow all mandated safety protocol, while making sure the wedding fulfilled all the dreams of the bride and groom. They allowed us to use two separate venues, instead of all at same location, to allow us to accommodate our guest count safely. All staff was professional and trained. Ceremony was at the L and was stunning! The reception at Revel was an absolute blast. The food was delicious and layout was amazing! The team led by Bri turned what could have been a disaster, into a beautiful, flawless event. We can’t say enough about how great they were! According to my daughter and her new husband it was “ the best weekend of their lives, beyond their wildest dreams!” That’s says it all! Deepest thanks to Bri Siezmore and the entire Larkins team!

Easy to work with!
Working with Larkins was honestly one of the easiest parts of planning our wedding! Bri S was so easy to work with, always responded promptly to my concerns and never failed to come up with a new idea on how to better serve my husband and I in having exactly what we envisioned! I appreciated how she was cost conscious with our budget and never felt like I was being forced into something. When COVID-19 hit we had to make some adjustments as expected but even making these changes was easy. The staff on the day of at the Cabaret Room were quick, professional and kind. Our rehearsal was at Limoncello too and the staff was excellent there as well. We are so glad we chose to work with Larkins for our wedding and can't wait to make some more visits back!

Larkin's did a wonderful job catering our wedding! The food was delicious and they made all the serving stations move quickly for our large wedding so no one had to deal with lines. Bri was incredible to work with - so responsive and helpful! As an added bonus, they sent to go boxes of food to our hotel room at the end of the night so it was there waiting for us which was amazing. I would choose them again in a second!

We could not be happier with our experience with Larkin’s. Our reception was perfect! We planned everything from 1000 miles away which can be stressful. However, Bri and the staff at Larkin’s made this process as easy as possible. Emails and questions were all answered in a timely matter and Bri made sure all of the tiniest details were taken care of. The venue was beautiful and food delicious. Larkin's took care of us from the very beginning. We did experience some transitions in our sales manager throughout the year after we booked with them. Once Bri was on our event, that was a game changer! The experience was good leading up to that point, but Bri is special! She LOVES her job and it is obvious. She made sure all the details were arranged the way we had discussed and worked so well with our day-of coordinator (and allowed her to do her job!) The food was amazing. The staff are the best around!! Professional and kind and knew the drinks many of our guests preferred so they had it ready by the time they got to the bar. We booked Larkin's and never looked back. Would recommend for the couple who wants to be creative and let the venue handle the big pieces (space, linens, tables, catering, etc) so you can have fun with the rest!

The best in Greenville!!!
My husband and I had our wedding at The L and it was the best experience to work with the Larkin's staff. Our event specialist was Bri and we could not have been luckier to have her helping us with our big day. She was knowledgeable, flexible, experienced, and accommodating. I did not have a wedding planner and she was just a call or email away to help answer any questions I had (which was frequent). We got to look at the space several times and have a tasting at Larkin's restaurant with our parents. The venue was absolutely perfect and Bri and the staff set-up exactly what I had envisioned. Not to mention, the food was SO good. We chose to do a buffet and had several compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding food they ever had, and we agreed! I could go on and on, but if you want to have and amazing wedding experience, go with Larkin's, they are the best in Greenville!!! Amazing experience
We chose Larkin's because the space was exactly what we wanted and the staff was amazingly helpful. Our ceremony was in the courtyard and reception in the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room. Bri was our coordinator and took care of everything. I wasn't going to have flowers - I didn't want to deal with them or pay for them. But Bri ran with the few ideas I gave her. Everything was incredible and just what I had imagined. The whole day was planned perfectly. I was not stressed at all and I got so many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was. The food was delicious and Larkin's staff made sure Russ and I had plates and that we actually ate at the reception. They even prepared take home plates for us, which was great since we didn't get to eat much. I would definitely recommend them, to anyone. It was perfect.

Family Style Italian - YES PLEASE!!!
So I come from an Italian family and food is important to me. I was a little nontraditional in the sense I did not want a plated meal or buffet but wanted the table to be a place of conversation. Larkin's was amazing at make this a reality. We had family style spaghetti, meatballs, gnocchi and caprese salad. Not only did the food taste incredible but the presentation on the tables was beautiful. Courtney Hamilton blew it out of the water with making what seemed strange into something unforgettable.

Catering Made Easy
Courtney was a DREAM! Food was very important to us and played a large part of the experience of our wedding. We value Family Dinners and wanted to share that with our guests with an Italian Family Dinner. Courtney worked with us on creating a custom menu and smoothing out the logistics with having our space flipped.
Our Dinner was not only served well and quickly, but tasted incredible! Three months later and we still here about the Gnocchi, Meatballs, and Spaghetti!

Working with the Larkin's team to plan and coordinate our wedding was a breeze. Nicole was so sweet from the first time we met her and she made sure that our ceremony ran exactly how we had imagined it. The bartender/servers that were assigned to our wedding were incredibly nice and they did a wonderful job. My wedding reception was at Larkin's "L," so this review is for the space as well as the catering. I could not have been more happy with the level of service I received. This is probably a more expensive venue on the spectrum in Greenville, but the value is tremendous. I'd like to specifically thank Nicole at Larkin's, who was ultra responsive, super helpful, and incredibly easy-going while still knowing exactly what she was talking about and making great recommendations. Larkin's has many venues so they've been doing this for a while - trust them and what they recommend, but know that you can ask for something that is off-menu or unique, and they'll be happy to see what they can do. We are so incredibly glad we went with Larkins. First of all, you can’t beat the food. Our people kept coming up to us saying “this food is amazing!” And there was plenty of it. We loved that they had our food ready and waiting for us when we sat down, even though we did a buffet, which meant we actually got a meal in. The bartenders were wonderful, the wait staff so helpful. And our coordinator, Jennifer, was the best. Every question, every issue, she just handled so easily... by the time the wedding day came we were able to relax and enjoy because we had such trust in her. The cabaret room looks amazing in our pictures, and our guests were so thankful we went with an indoor venue and beat the heat. Just can’t say enough good things about Larkins across the board. And an extra tip- get blocks of rooms at the Embassy and Westin- both are within walking distance and our guests were thrilled with the arrangement!

Planning a wedding from out of town can be a bit daunting. However, working with Corie at Larkin's was THE BEST. She took care of everything for me, and even offered suggestions on other vendors to use.
We got married in the Courtyard and had our reception in the Cabaret Room. Everything was beautiful. The food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
We also had our Rehearsal Dinner in the Founders Room. My husband is half Filipino, and his family wanted to have Filipino food served. The chef at Larkin's prepared an AMAZING custom menu - I can't even put into words how excellent all of the dishes were.

I booked Larkin's within a few weeks of planning our wedding and it was the BEST decision. They have amazing event specialists to walk you through the entire process and work with you to make sure the event is flawless. I was able to drop off my decorations Friday and pick them up Sunday, they made the space absolutely beautiful. Also, the staff team the day of made sure the tables were clear, people had water and we had drinks. All of our guests kept commenting on how amazing the venue itself was too, located within walking distance of all downtown, so everyone had an easy weekend. Planning a wedding from another state was made super easy as they handle the rentals, catering, drinks, setup/cleanup.

We used Larkin's as our Rehearsal dinner spot after the place that we originally wanted booked fell through. What a blessing in disguise that was!! Larkin's on the River was perfect! Kristina was great to work with and always answered any questions that I had very promptly! We used the Founder's room and the space was decorated very elegantly with the centerpieces that Larkin's provided. The food was phenomenal and very affordable as well! We were also allowed to switch out wines for different kinds and beer as well! All of the staff was very friendly and ensured for a fabulous night!

Our wedding reception at Larkin's Sawmill was absolutely amazing! We worked with several people in their events department and all of the details came together beautifully. Dinner was well worth the cost, bar tenders were on top of it all night (and kept a specific bottle behind the counter for my husband and I), and Larkin's worked so well with our other vendors (cake, photographer, band, and florist). I even was able to do my bridal portraits at the Sawmill earlier in the week!

Our wedding was held at Larkin's Saw Mill on North Main and I could not have asked for a better venue. The day was perfect, the guests had a blast, and we would not change a thing. The on site coordinator was incredible and handled any and all issues (including a waterfall from the air conditioner) flawlessly. It is obvious that they know what they are doing--not to mention that the food was incredible. Jessica, the event specialist, worked with us through the entire process and she was FANTASTIC. Her goal is definitely to make the day special we are forever grateful to Larkin's Saw Mill staff for making our day an unforgettable one!

Our reception was at Larkins Sawmill at North Main with Jessica helping us. It was absolutely amazing and she was the most helpful! When we made several changes to things, she was right there on board and accommodated anything we needed. I would highly recommend Jessica at Larkins Events to help you with any venues needs. She is the best!!

Look no further for your wedding and catering needs! Larkin's had the entire package. Kristina, Jessica and their staff go above and beyond, and it shows. They truly make sure that every detail is absolutely perfect, and it was just that. I still have guests from the wedding complimenting the food, the venue and especially service (so much that a lot of the pictures I got back from my photographer had pictures of our friends and family with the staff)! Everyone was so professional.. they really make it look effortless. They have the largest choice of venues and cuisine of anyone in the area. Highly suggest Larkin's for ANY event, but they know how to make a wedding magical!

We had our wedding & reception at the Sawmill. BEAUTIFUL! We could not have been more pleased with this venue. The setting was perfect and Billy was great to work with. He met our every need and everything turned out wonderfully. We had tons of compliments on how pretty the venue was and how delisish the food was. I knew I would get married here the first time Isaw the place several years ago!

We held our wedding ceremony in Larkin's Courtyard and our reception in the Wyche's Pavilion. The absolute best thing about having your wedding at Larkin's is their experience and professionalism. They are such event experts that I was completely confident that our wedding would be perfect. Jessica was a joy to work with prior to the big day on all of the details and the Larkin's staff did an excellent job during the event. The setting was perfect, food was delicious and, most of all, the service was outstanding. Thanks to Larkin's for helping make it the best day ever.

I had the ceremony on the lawn outside and the reception inside at the Sawmill. Everything was beautiful and exactly what I wanted! You tell them what you want and they'll find a way to make it work! Food was great also!

Larkins is our favorite restaurant in Greenville, so from the beginning we knew we wanted them to cater our daughter's wedding. The food was outstanding. Many of our guests said it was the best they've ever had at a wedding. The chef was wonderful in working early on with my daughter (the bride) on the hors d'oeuvres menu.
We had a sit down dinner (duo of filet and crab cake) and enjoyed every bite. The service was stellar, unobtrusive and attentive without being bothersome. And I cannot say enough about how wonderful their Events Specialist, Jessica Latif is to work with. Professional, helpful, reliable, and organized. Once we booked with Larkins I did not have a single worry about the catering. Highly recommend and will use them again at the first opportunity.

Working with Larkins was one of the easiest and first decisions we made when we began planning our wedding. They are one of my favorite restaurants in Greenville and I knew their food would be leagues above the typical wedding food you see. Our contact Jessica made our every request come to life! Our reception started with a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres. I chose some of our appetizers from their catering menu but the chef was also able to create some custom foods just for us. After cocktail hour we had a sit down dinner. Dinner service was so smooth, and even with 22 tables of guests the servers were still so efficient and calm when passing out courses and making sure each table was attended to. And of course the food was FANTASTIC! Everyone complimented our catering and just raved about the menu! I loved that going into the day I didn't have to worry one bit about the catering, I trusted our contact completely to handle everything and pull together just what we wanted. I just got to look forward to eating the delicious foods we chose on the best day. They are definitely worth every penny!!

We had our Rehearsal Dinner in the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room, and it was something out of a dream! The exposed brick, beams and lighting created a beautiful setting, and the staff was wonderful. They helped my In-Laws carry everything in and decorate/set up, and made sure that everyone had anything they needed throughout the night. The food was great, we did the pulled pork, chicken, corn, potatoes---a truly southern meal, and the specialty drinks were delicious--bellini's and a raspberry drink (in addition to a variety of beer and wine).
We had about 60-70 people, and there was plenty of room for tables, the dance floor, buffet line, and the couch/lounge area next to the bar. We were also able to replace some of the pictures they have hanging up with several canvases of our engagement pictures so it made the room really ours for the night! The proximity to the Westin Poinsett (where we were staying) made for a very easy walk so we didn't have to worry about driving/parking, only about a block and a half away, so it was easy for the grandparents and the other elderly members of the family to get there as well.

Larkin's Catering and Events created our dream wedding! I loved working with Kristina and the team at Larkin's. We conducted our Ceremony and Reception at Larkin's and they took care of everything. They set up all the chairs and tables for both locations and they food was outstanding. At our tasting, we had made a few changes, and they honored those changes exactly and we could tell on the day of our wedding. One thing I loved about Larkin's was that everything was included and they worked with all the other vendors we had. We would pay Larkin's, who turned around and payed our other vendors making it easier on us and not having to keep up with who was paid and who wasn't. They were a dream to work with and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone for an event or just dinner!

Larkin’s was an absolute joy to work with, both in facility rental and catering. The Wyche Pavilion is gorgeous and provided the perfect location for my overall vision. Jessica was so good that it was like having a second wedding planner. Everything I needed she took care of and was super nice throughout us working together. She went above and beyond many times to make sure everything was just right. We chose the Greenville menu and it was amazing! All my guests are still talking about how great the shrimp and grits were and the best part is most of them don’t like grits! I was very lucky in that all the construction was completed so I was able to use the amphitheater as well. The only issue I will point out was wedding crashers but this is no fault of Larkin’s. Overall it was an amazing experience that I want to do all over again! Thank you Larkin’s and Jessica for making my wedding the most magical day ever!

We requested appetizers and an open bar cocktail hour, a seated dinner for 207 guests with an open bar and wine/champagne service during dinner, as well as assistance with serving the cake. The food was perfectly cooked and the right temperature. I don't know how they delivered this with a seated dinner of that size, but I can't imagine the food being any better. Guests have been raving to me about how it was the best wedding steak they have ever had. I would recommend them to anyone. Very professional and on top of it. Expensive but worth it for the best.

We are out-of-towners, so it was extremely important for us to have a reliable and professional venue, that would just take charge of any situation. We had a wonderful experience with Kimberly, and others as they led us through every step of the process. We learned that not all venues in Greenville are as professional as you might expect, so it was a real relief to work with such real pros. Once our side of the planning was done, all the ideas, table arrangements, and rental item decisions were made, we knew that they would just make it happen and they did! Our wedding was a complete success, and we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. Thanks to Kimberly, Christina, Michelle, and all the staff who made our cocktail hour and reception absolutely unforgettable for us and our guests!!

Loved this place. Not only for planning purposes was this venue agreeable, they were able to be so flexible with my situation! The staff was professional from the beginning. They followed up with email and phone conversations. The day of my reception they were gracious enough to stay on the phone with me for almost an hour as I navigated downtown greenville. I totally told everyone south main instead of north main. They made me little nightmare go away! They vale parking was the BEST THING EVER! The food was great, the staff that night at my reception dinner was hospitable and helped the night flow. Thank you Larkins on the River for being amazing!

We used the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room for our wedding reception. It was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing and people loved it. The staff was wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly. Planning was a breeze with them because they got to know us and knew exactly what we wanted! Anytime we wanted something changed, they gladly changed it. The room was absolutely beautiful! Larkins was absolutely amazing! Everything that I wanted, they were able to do. They even helped me save money on linens and chairs! Anytime we wanted to change something, they were very flexible. They executed the event without anything going wrong. They knew us (bride & groom) by our first names and were very willing to go above and beyond for us. As for food, only one word......PHENOMENAL! Truly, the good was amazing. Not one person complained and they LOVED it! The shrimp and risotto lollipops are the best! Talk about knowing how to throw a party! Leave it up to Billy and Christina and they will throw you the best party ever!!

My wedding reception was held in the Cabaret room - an exposed old brick room with high ceilings and a large wooden bar which was just amazing! It had the masculine feel I wanted for my husband, but a very invited, warm feel I wanted for myself. The space was perfect, I never felt crammed in (I had a buffet, dj, dance floor, welcome area/guest book table, cake and toasting section, AND 10 tables!) The staff were exceptionally nice and the food was delicious. The planning portion was very friendly and open to my difficult demands (beer to toast with due to husbands allergies!), and were very easy to contact when needed. Overall, it was a phenominal experience and did not have a single worry all night!

We had Larkins as our caterer. The food was truly scrumptious! Our guests could not stop talking about it. The staff were very gracious and professional. They were also very flexible. We had an outdoor reception and we weren't sure if it was going to rain.They worked with us and were able to roll with the punches. The event went smoothly. It was perfect!

From the start Larkins was amazing to work with, and in the end they were still amazing to work with. The food was amazing. Their staff is awesome to deal with. We are so very glad we picked them. We had our ceremony and reception at Larkins and they really go above and beyond what you ever expected. We looked at about 50 locations before we decided on one, and for your money and quality Larkins is it all. The food for the restaurant is always amazing and you really do get the same type of quality for your wedding, its not your normal run of the mill wedding food.

Holding my wedding ceremony and reception at Larkin's on the River was the best decision we could have made. The staff, everyone from the event coordinator to the waitstaff, was incredible. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they took great care and me and our guests. The food was amazing, nothing like what you would get another wedding. The locations they have available are stunning and need very little to set the scene for your dream wedding. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Larkin's on the River. We used the courtyard to have our outdoor ceremony, which went beautifully. We had our reception outdoors at the Wyche Pavilion. The food was delicious and the staff was very accomodating.
We worked with Kimberly for all our wedding details and she did a superb job. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with.
I would highly recommend Larkin's on the River for any occassion or just for a place to have dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic.

We had our ceremony outside in the Courtyard and the reception inside on the 3rd floor in the Cabaret Room.
Billy Watson was wonderful to work with prior to the wedding date. He rented all the equipment we would need (chairs, dance foor, etc.), worked with us to create the best posiible menu for Todd and I and our guest, was very professional and was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.
The day of the wedding, the staff at Larkin's were outstanding, providing great service and seemed very happy to be apart of our wedding day. The food and drink were way beyond any expectations. LOTS of our guest have commented of how wonderful the food was, they were in no way expecting what they got! That of course makes us happy, because it helped our guest enjoy our wedding day too! Of course Todd and I were too busy during the wedding, we didnt have alot of time to eat...let alone taste the food...no worries, Larkin's had packed a huge bag of food to go and sent it to the hotel room we were staying in that night (even including a piece of cake)!
I have only wonderful things to say about Larkin's on the River. A beautiful venue, wonderful people, outstanding food!

Kimberly and the staff at Larkin's made our wedding day the perfect day. No matter what our request, they followed through. The catering was amazing, no shortage of food, and they sent us home with bags to eat later that night. The decor from Larkin's was beautiful, and included flowers and lighting that helped set the stage. The venue is the perfect location and we would not have changed anything. The staff was very supportive and helpful and made the evening flawless. The wedding was so wonderful I wish we could go through it again. Although I was stressed (as any typical bride) the staff helped me realize the important aspects and helped me relax. Incredible! We were supposed to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception in the pavillion. Unfortunately, it rained horribly on our wedding day. The people at Wyche were thoroughly prepared, and brought everything inside Larkin's for a beautiful ceremony. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, our servers were very nice. The location is beautiful!

I used Larkins on the River's Wyche Pavilion in downtown Greenville, South Carolina for my ceremony venue.
Larkins was very professional to work with and they did not every disappoint me at all.
They always responded to our phone calls and questions and came through on everything that they promised.
The thing I appreciated about them the most, was that they let me make most of the decisions; they were very flexible

We used Larkins as our catering company and they were amazing! The food was delicious, the presentation was flawless and the entire presentation and event went so smoothly with their help. Kimberly was always available when I had questions either through email, phone or a personal meeting. They were willing to customize anything to fit your own unique style. I would absolutely recommend Larkins for any future brides :)

I would highly recommend Larkin's on the River for any occassion or just for a place to have dinner. The atmosphere is fantastic.We looked at about 50 locations before we decided on one, and for your money and quality Larkins is it all. The food for the restaurant is always amazing and you really do get the same type of quality for your wedding, its not your normal run of the mill wedding food.

This was my reception venue, in the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room. Billy and Christine made everything perfect. They really wanted to take the stress off you and do whatever they could to make your vision come true--with the least amount of work for the bride! They were truly wonderful to work with and the venue was so romantic! I highly recommend using Larkins!

Excellent, even under pressure!
Emily helped us design a custom menu due to some food sensitivities I personally have. We got to the week of the wedding & realized our menu was not what we understood it to be. Emily worked with our coordinator to get it exactly perfect and was such a joy to work with in what could have been a really stressful situation! (The miscommunication was on our end as a couple). I'd highly recommend anything by Larkin's - especially the tacos. Really great for folks with allergies too!

If you’re getting married in Greenville, or even considering it, you absolutely must work with Larkin’s.
What really makes Larkin’s stand out is the quality of their staff. We worked with Corie for most of our wedding coordination, and she went above and beyond in every way. The day we got married was extremely windy, and the arch we used for our ceremony actually fell down twice before we even started. During the ceremony, Corie actually hid behind the fabric on the arch and held the whole thing together. Seriously…she held together a 10 foot high arch that was threatening to collapse or fly away for the entire length of our ceremony, just to make sure that we could have the ceremony we planned. I never even knew the arch was blowing over, Corie just took it upon herself hold everything together. She is THAT amazing. And that was only the tip of the iceberg for the amazing care and service that the Larkin’s team provided. At the beginning of our wedding planning, we were living in Boston and planning from afar. In fact, neither my husband nor I are actually from Greenville so we weren’t overly familiar with the area and were never in town for more than a few hours. The team at Larkin’s was super accommodating to our schedule when we were in town, and were always available by phone, e-mail or text if I had questions. To make things more complicated, we actually moved from Boston to North Carolina and started new jobs within 1 month of our wedding – I didn’t do the majority of the details until after we moved and Larkin’s was so helpful as I tried to wrap everything up.
We did our ceremony in the courtyard and our reception in the Cabaret Room. I even booked the Founder’s room for the bridal luncheon and bridal suite. All of their venue spaces are beautiful, and we loved how easy it was to just move everyone upstairs. We chose to do stations for the reception, and all of the food was absolutely delicious. If I could give Larkin’s 100 stars, I absolutely would.

We LOVED working with Billy at Larkin's on the River for our wedding ceremony and reception! He was very flexible and accommodating!
We had the ceremony in the courtyard - which was beautiful as it was. Billy gave us ideas for where music should set up or where the ceremony could take place and pros & cons of each.
The reception was held in the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room and it was absolutely perfect for us! We had about 70 people there and we fit comfortably. The room is gorgeous with the brick walls, wood floors, and big open windows. Larkin's has basic table decorations (votives, mirrors, hurricanes, etc) that they are willing to set up for you and add personal touches if you ask (glass beads).
The food... Oh the food! It was SO DELICIOUS! Our guests and we agree that it's the best wedding food there is. Billy worked with us on the menu - all the comments we had from the tasting in December were addressed with the food for the reception. We asked for him to set up a private space for us to eat in the bar area, which he did and had our food there for us.
When working with Billy the answer was almost always "Yes" -- and if it wasn't yes, it was, "I can't do that but, I can do this..." He had fabulous customer service. Loved working with Billy. Loved the space. Loved the food. Could not have been happier with venue.

We worked with both Melissa and Kristina at Larkins for our ceremony in the Larkins Courtyard and reception on the Wyche Pavillion! The venues were both beautiful and required very little in the way of decorating which kept our money available for other things. They worked with us to tweak one of their buffet menus to fit our tastes a lite better. All the chairs and plain linens were included in the rental so they helped us save money as well! The food was amazing and they handled a lot of the smaller details we had forgotten about in the days before the wedding. We are so happy we chose such a beautiful venue and experienced caterer!

We used Larkin's on the River as our caterer because they owned our venue, Larkin's Saw Mill. We could not have been happier. Billy, our contact, was out of this world when it comes to customer service and personal attention. We could email him and get a response within a few hours. He constantly went out of his way to make sure our day was a special event. The venue was beautiful on it's own but they have serious attention to detail that made my job, as the bride, so much easier. I would recommend this caterer/venue to absolutely anyone.

As a full time grad student, I didn't have much time to focus on all the little details. With Larkin's, I didn't have to worry about a thing! They are event experts and made sure that everything was perfect. We had a small (~60 ppl) reception in the Cabaret Room. The room was gorgeous and the service was great. The guests raved about the food! Thelma even taught us how to Wobble. :-) My one and only complaint was that a planned change to the buffet menu didn't happen. The roasted potatoes were delicious, but I really had my heart set on mashed potatoes.

Our reception was held at the Wyche Pavilion and it was like a fairy tale. Everything was what we expected and then some. We didn't get to taste any of the food, but the guests were raving about it. Thank you so much for all you did!

We were VERY glad we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception with the team at Larkin's. They did everything to accomodate us that we could've asked for. Gorgeous venue with excellent catering and a very helpful staff! We had our ceremony in the courtyard followed by a reception in the Wyche Pavilion. Both parts of the wedding were perfect! The courtyard is a great location for an intimate wedding ceremony at a very affordable price, and I can think of no better venue for a wedding reception than the awesome Wyche Pavilion. From the very beginning, Kimberly was there to not only make recommendations but also to listen to my ideas and incorporate them every step of the way. Larkin's also provides a fabulous catering service - my guests can't stop talking about how great the food was and how much food was actually there to enjoy! We were initially upset about not being able to purchase and bring in our own alcohol to cut down on costs; but there are several beverage packages to choose from, and the bar service was great! The wedding day went extremely smoothly and the staff at Larkin's executed everything beautifully! Highly recommend!!

This is an EXTREMELY beautiful venue and the "one stop shop" they provide by doing everything from linens to bartender to catering to chairs, etc. is a huge load off of a bride's mind.
We got married in the ballroom on the third floor of the restaurant and then went outside to the outdoor Pavilion. I would recommend getting the full greenery package as well as the chinese lantern package. This venue is absolutely beautiful at night with everything lit in soft candlelight and the lanterns overhead!
The food was fantastic and the presentation was beautiful! This is truly one of the most beautiful places in Greenville!
The only negative thing about this type of venue is that it costs a little more because you can't buy anything outside of Larkin's. For example, if you wanted to buy wine at the discount/bulk stores and get a better deal you can't do that. But I will say that it was a very stress free and much more of a simple way to do it if you have the means to do so.
We really didn't have any stress knowing that everything would be taken care of.

Tammy was a dream to work with! She was so responsive and worked hard to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. She tolerated several visits, countless phone calls, and a lot of people! The Sawmill is gorgeous and will definitely be a place I keep on my radar in the future.

We. ate. everything.
We had our ceremony and reception on-site at Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville and were originally expecting around 85 guests. The day of the wedding, I think we ended up having closer to 70 guests, but no fear - the guests HAPPILY cleared their plates and more. I was thoroughly impressed.
Larkin's was so much fun to work with, and we ended up breaking up our food into several smaller experiences throughout the night. We started with small, fun appetizers during cocktail hour (like miniature chicken and waffles). For dinner, we did smaller, buffet-style, self-serving stations with everything delicious from short rib mac-and-cheese to shrimp and grits and more. Later that night, Larkin's even brought in a full-fledged biscuit bar (around 9pm) for guests to snack on that was a huge hit!
The food was excellent, and so was the service. Thank you, Larkin's!

Larkins was great. They have such a beautiful venue and all of our guests from New York were very impressed with Greenville. It is right in the heart of downtown and the Hampton Inn is so close for guests to stay. There were only a few minor glitches in that the person we set everything up with was not the same person that was setting up our event. This created a few miscommunication errors. Everyone was very nice though, and the venue is unbelievable. The food was amazing and everyone loved it. You can get extravagant deals on catering or affordable, which was a nice option. We really enjoyed it and it was all we dreamed it would be and more.

The food was out of this world good. Jessica was a pleasure to work with. The only downside was they only a loud two hours for set up. With that amount of time there were some thing that were left out. Other then that everything was great.

Larkins is a beautiful venue. We had our beautful ceremony outside in their quaint courtyard and our 85 guests simply walked up the steps to our reception. The ceremony with the exposed brick gave a Charleston-like feeling in downtown Greenville. Overflowing waterfalls gave a perfect backdrop for ceremony pictures. The food was impeccable. The ambiance was cozy and rustic. The exposed beams gave our room character. The linens and the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

I am glad that we went with Larkins Catering for our wedding. We had our reception at the Wyche Pavilion right on the river and the setting was absolutely gorgeous. We had to switch event coordinators within the company but once we did we were extremely happy with our service. Corrie was accommodating, had great suggestions and was easy to reach as we got closer to the wedding. She was able to customize our menu package to include our favorite foods. We also had a freshly fried donut bar with toppings- my guests loved it! The food was beyond amazing. Overall the price was expensive, but well worth it. Our overall cost included a reception venue (we had to rent the amphitheater next to the pavilion to ensure there wasn't a concert going on during our wedding which was an extra cost), linens, chairs and tables, lighting and plants, appetizers, buffets, a donut bar, and a liquor, wine and beer bar for roughly 130 guests.

Larkins provided quality service and flexibility. We had to change the venue at the last minute due to weather and they met the challenge. Some of the servers were a bit "snappy" when it was time for the wedding guests to be served, but the guests took it in stride. The food was good and fresh and enjoyed by all. Overall, I would definitely recommend them and have no reservations with my recommendation.

My ONLY complaint with Larkin's is the coordinator and the tasting experience. I felt like I was begging for recommendations from our coordinator and the tasting felt more like a lunch date. Our coordinator was no where to be found. Day of the food was AMAZING and the service was even better. If you are not don't stress the little things during the planning process, they will exceed your expectations day of. I can't rave enough about their short ribs and truffle Mac. They even accommodated a behind the scenes private dinner for us so we could eat prior to entering our reception.

I felt our contact with Larkins was short and uninterested in her job. There were a few short falls during the reception which I felt should
Not have happened. The food was great though and the venue is pretty. I would book again at the venue.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Wyche Pavilion, which is catered/managed by Larkins. The venue is absolutely breathtaking!! Most, if not all, of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had attended. If you want a charming, historic, outdoor venue, you can't go wrong with the Wyche Pavilion!!
There are so many options with lighting and furniture; you can easily make it your dream wedding. The food is SO good, too!! We had prime rib and salmon, with a ton of delicious appetizers and desserts -- yum! We loved that it was pretty much a one-stop shop.

We had our reception in the Wyche Pavillion at Larkins on the River. Wow was it beautiful! It got even better later into the evening as the chinese laterns were swaying in the breeze. Billy was who I mainly worked with and he was the best! From the very first phone conversation to the end, he was nice, professional, flexible, and very informative. He even took care of my small bar tab after I told him how long my mother-in-law had to wait for her valet. The only negative that I will say is that I had a candy bar as my favor. At the very end, two waiters helped themselves to the candy bar. I alerted Billy to this situation. They even gave us two wine glasses as a gift! Thanks for great food, service, and a magical day to remember!

The reason I gave this a 3.8 is because we had to switch event planners in the middle which made things quite confusing. The actual day turned out to be great...it was just hard to get in touch with them sometimes.

We used the Wyche Pavilion for the ceremony and reception. After much deliberation, we figured out what part of the Pavilion we wanted to stand for the ceremony, and the tables were arranged accordingly.
When we told them all we were serving was cake and tea, they offered to cut the cake for us for a fee per slice; we refused, but the day of the wedding one of the staff did end up cutting the cake for no charge.

We had our wedding reception at the Larkin's Shirley Roe Cabaret Room. We loved the location in downtown Greenville and the venue is beautiful. Service is difficult to write about because it wasn't terrible but it wasn't five stars. Response time from venue on questions and concerns was not in a timely manner, especially when the bride is trying to plan/organize. Responses also changed from time to time, we were promised one thing and later on that promise was no longer acceptable. Price constantly changed. Our food tasting was great, guests were pleased with our choices! Unfortunately, we asked for them to label food based on Celiacs Disease and that request was not completed, nor was servers able to assist on knowing which was gluten free and which wasn't. As far as the bar service, our tab was ran up by the servers constantly picking up full glasses of booze on the table and dumping them, including taking the bride and grooms drinks. Overall great location, mediocre service.
