  Because of Kristen Arnett’s crazy awesome background in fashion and print make up, I splurged on Kristen's assistance at my wedding. It is a no brainer: if you want to memorialize your wedding with photos or film, hire someone who’s main job is to make people look AMAZING in those mediums. Kristen did just that for me. (I also received many, many complements on the day of.)

  It was the perfect backdrop: the base of Mt. Hood, OR in August. Except, on the day of my wedding, it happened to be over 100 degrees with a forest fire nearby raining soot and singed pine needles all over the place, including on me (the bride!). This could have spelled disaster. However, thanks the Oregon-native make-up artist, I looked and felt amazing. My make up never ran or caked, despite the heat. Plus, Kristen was so attentive – adding a dab of powder here, a touch of gloss there (also carefully removing fire particulates) – that all of my photos turned out fantastic!
  
  All and all, I highly recommend Kristen Arnett, due to her professionalism and experience. Plus, I still hear from her from time to time with make-up tips and suggestions -- you can't beat that!

  I am an esthetician of almost 20 years and trust me when I say anyone can claim to be a makeup artist. I have met many, many, people who say they are makeup artists and probably try to be. I had two makeup trials before my wedding. One was from someone who claimed she was a celebrity makeup artist from a very reputable salon in NYC. My makeup was a disaster and melted off my face in about two hours, not to mention I was loaded with shimmer and slop. My God send for my wedding makeup was Kristen Arnett. Kristen is the best of the best and truly an artist, a REAL makeup artist. She transformed my face into my dream look for my wedding and when I saw my face I burst into tears. ( I don't recommend this) She was kind, professional, and knows what she is doing. She has years of experience and when she works on you, you can tell. I honestly never felt more beautiful in my life and the best part was that it didn't look like I had tons of makeup on, but my look was dramatic...gorgeous false lashes and the most sexy red lips ever. My makeup lasted not only all day but I slept in it and it was still perfect in the morning!! My false eyelashes lasted about 5 days! I really can't say enough about Kristen and how talented she is, she will always be one of the best memories about my wedding, she was absolutely without a doubt worth every penny. She does not disappoint and the fact that she uses natural, clean, and pure products is just a super plus. If you want PERFECT, flawless makeup with true artistry of shading and contouring by an expert use Kristen Arnett. My skin was glowing all day...in August heat! I am so fortunate to have had Kristen available to do my makeup as she travels all over the world for work, I hope she is available for you!
