We had our dreamy wedding day about 3 weeks ago and we can’t stop thinking about our perfect day. My now husband and I first came to Trump Winery over 3 years ago to celebrate his birthday. At that time, the tasting room was in a different location across the mountain from where it now is, and we were sitting out on the Adirondack chairs taking in the view and saw in the distance a little brick building. We pulled out our phones and zoomed in on the map and discovered we were looking at the beautiful Chapel and discovered the wedding venues at the winery. That day we fantasized about getting married there one day. Fast forward 3 years later, we were engaged and KNEW we had to come back for a tour of the chapel and wedding venues. After being engaged for only a week, we met Beth for a tour of the Barn & Pavilion, Grand Hall, and Chapel and fell in love with every detail and immediately knew this is where we would be getting married. We had a few other tours booked for the day and quickly cancelled them after seeing how incredible Trump Winery was. Now that we have had our wedding day, I can’t say enough incredible things about this venue. We had our ceremony in the Chapel and it truly felt like our day was out of a fairytale story. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better setting to say “I do” in front of our closest friends and family. Cocktail hour took place on the terrace of the Grand Hall during sunset and then the reception took place in the Grand Cru ballroom. This truly is the dreamiest setting for a wedding and our wedding was absolutely more incredible than we could have ever imagined. We have attended many other weddings in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas and I truly believe this is the best venue and our guests couldn’t have agreed more. -

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Trump Winery. The staff was very accommodating and kind. We had a chapel ceremony prior to our larger ceremony and it was the perfect intimate experience for our closest family and friends. Having the whole winery to ourselves was such a plus. It felt so exclusive and private. I highly recommend staying at Albermarle Estate for the wedding weekend. The entire experience was incredible! -

Trump Winery in Charlottesville is, without a doubt, the perfect venue for a wedding. From the moment we arrived, everything about our experience was flawless. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making us feel completely at ease on our special day. Their professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched.
The property itself is breathtaking, but the chapel is what truly sets it apart. It’s a hidden gem—intimate, elegant, and absolutely stunning. The fresco ceiling is like nothing we’ve ever seen before, adding a unique and artistic touch that made our ceremony feel extraordinary. The expansive bay windows and the balcony allowed for incredible natural light and unforgettable photos, while the pews and altar provided a timeless, classic ambiance.
Our photographer, Aaron Watson Photography, was phenomenal. Despite challenging weather, he worked magic to capture images that perfectly documented the beauty and emotion of the day.
The all-inclusive wedding package we selected made planning so easy and stress-free. It covered everything we needed, from beautiful floral arrangements to the officiant, as well as hair and makeup that was done right in our cozy cabin. Staying at the Albemarle Estate elevated the entire experience. The estate is intimate and exclusive, with only about 11 rooms, giving us the feeling that we had the entire property to ourselves for our New Year’s Eve celebration. The cabin we stayed in was warm and inviting, and every meal in the fine dining room was exquisite.
What truly stood out to us was the incredible value. For under $10,000, our package included the venue, officiant, photographer, flowers, two nights in the cabin, our wedding dress and tuxedo, hair and makeup, and exceptional meals. Every element came together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience.
We couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to celebrate our love. The uniqueness of the venue, the stunning grounds, and the outstanding service far exceeded anything we could have hoped for. Trump Winery truly offers a one-of-a-kind experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning their wedding. It was everything we dreamed of and more! -

As a vendor, I travel to many venues all over the state. Trump Winery is absolutely one of my favorites to visit. The view is gorgeous, and everyone that I have met was very professional and kind. I’m always excited when I get the chance to come back here. You owe it to yourself to check this one out if you are looking for a venue!

Responsive and an incredibly beautiful destination for our wedding. The chapel is a true blessing and incredibly stunning. It is on the winery site and can be seen from the tasting room and estate. We had our rehearsal at the cidery and stayed in the estate. Everything was top notch and the winery tasting room we had reserved for our guests for a wonderful luncheon with wine, charcuterie, menu and cake. Each facet I was assigned a point person to coordinate with and all were a delight. -

What a gorgeous venue! From starting our process a year ago with Patrick to ending with Beth, we never had a hiccup or issue at all. Working with their preferred vendors list eliminated various issues before they happened. We used the Grand Hall for the Ceremony and Grand Cru Ballroom for the Reception. Easy access for families and a GORGEOUS view of the property. Minimal decor needed due to the natural beauty. Worth every penny. Thank you from the Fowlers 10.15.2021 -

We could not have asked for a better venue than the Trump Winery! Everything about the experience was a class act and our guests were left speechless at both the view during the ceremony, and the Grand Hall during the reception.
Beth, and her team had a very big challenge on their hands as our wedding was the same day as the opening of their new tasting room. But she over delivered to have patrons off the property prior to our guests arriving offering us the private feel we were hoping for when selecting a location. Very well done.
Overall, if we could go through the process again of picking a location, we would still pick Trump Winery. It lived up the the expectations of a Trump property, and the 5 star experience was there.
Finally, my recommendation for future couples considering this property would be to have wedding party stay at the Albermarle Estate if in your budget. Aside from being a beautiful hotel, it makes for a much easier day of experience. The bridal party had raving reviews of the room and service from the staff Friday into Saturday and we stayed as a couple Saturday night.
Again, just a wonderful experience. Thank you to Beth and the entire Trump team! -

Gorgeous Venue
My fiancé and I visited several venues: Morais Vineyards & Winery, Rock Hill Plantation House, The Market at Grelen, The Inn at Willow Grove, Stevenson Ridge, and Potomac Point Winery. The issue was we were at the height of COVID and at the time, the governors edict declared only 10 could gather. We didn't want to gamble that the limit would lift at the time of our wedding so we chose an elopement package at Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery. We could only invite 10 guests so that was perfect. If needed, we could simply invite 8 guests to adhere to the governor's guidelines.
I was drawn to chapel which is gorgeous. I've always wanted to get married in a church. The ceiling is painted, there were candles, towering windows, etc. It was just beautiful. I also liked that the package came with business partners so I didn't have to hunt down a reasonably priced florist or baker. They have relationships with a number of officiants with different religious and non-religious backgrounds. I even had a choice of live music.
The wedding planner introduced me to everyone via email and I told them what kind of flowers I wanted, what type of frosting I wanted, which script the officiant should read off of, and which songs the harpist should play. It was easy and stress free.
My guests enjoyed the winery and had lunch there. We checked in at the estate and settled in. We took professional pictures for an hour and then we all drove to the chapel. Beth, the wedding planner, made sure to shepherd my guests to the chapel so I didn't have to. The entire thing went by so fast but there were no errors and it was beautiful.
If you go with the elopement package, all of your guests must spend the night (not Friday or Saturday). The rooms at Albemarle Estate are impressive so my guests loved them. Dinner is a la carte and I ordered wine for the party ahead of time. The chef created amazing food and the service was outstanding. Our waiter, Ethan, did an excellent job.
My small wedding party was amazing and I don't regret not having a bigger wedding. The price was well worth this experience and I got to shower luxury on those closest to me. I would highly recommend the elopement package. The grounds alone are lovely but the chapel and estate made my wedding so very special. A perfect day. -

Absolutely a dream come true!
My dream fall wedding came true at this beautiful venue, I was married at the Chapel. Our Wedding coordinator Colleen Larson made everything so seamless and as stress-free for us as possible. If I could get married again, I would choose this venue again and again. Just amazing! -

Trump was the first place we toured and it was an easy decision as soon as we drove through the gates. We decided to have the ceremony in the chapel and the reception in the barrel room at the Grand Hall. We started working with Patrick and eventually Colleen. The transition was seamless for us - Colleen was so helpful in every aspect of the wedding including helping with my veil, shuttling us around the property, and taking us to Albemarle Estate at the end of the night.
Trump is such a well oiled machine that I had no stress the day of the wedding. Everyone commented on the beauty of the property. It really was the perfect place to get married! -

My fiancée (now husband!) wanted to do something special for our US ceremony. We had done our engagement photos at the estate in the fall, and while we were there we spoke with the event planner Patrick on what a small ceremony would look like. Our large family/friend wedding was taking place in Dominican Republic, so we wanted something private and special just for ourselves with two of our very best friends. We couldn't have asked for anything better from the Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery and Patrick and his team! Everything was flawless from beginning to end. We booked and had about 2 months to put it together. We were immediately in contact with our officiant, flowers, cake baker, and Patrick helped recommend hair/makeup in the area since we live in WV and I didn't know anyone. The day we were heading down, we ended up having to bring one of our dogs with us last minute, and the estate was so accommodating! Even with other guests staying for the weekend, we felt like we had the place all for ourselves, and the guests joined in on our fun and by the end were celebrating at dinner with us. The food and service is always on point, and of course the wine! We loved every second of our weekend. It was so special. Shout out to Faraz who did our tasting the summer before at the winery and was the whole reason we decided to do our engagement photos. He even got to be there during our elopement which was so fun to re-share with him! We cannot wait to visit again! We know this will always be one of our special places. -

My soon-to-be fiancé and I toured this Venue with Patrick and instantly fell in love! Patrick was very welcoming and answered all our questions. They are very accommodating and flexible, I loved touring the winery and he showed us everything! Such a wonderful experience, we hope to book them for our fall wedding -

History All Around
The wedding was April 13, 2019. A beautiful Spring season in addition to being Thomas Jefferson's 276th birthday. Our theme was Virginia-born Presidents. Where better to pull it off than Trump Winery, near Jefferson's Monticello and James Monroe's Ash Lawn-Highland. We held the wedding couple's rehearsal dinner at the stunning Albemarle Estate on April 12th. The estate is an elegant home where our guests enjoyed a fabulous meal and eye-catching architecture. The Trump staff was impressive, often steps ahead of our requests. They were completely attentive to making our vision unfold in first-class style. The next day - the wedding, at the Grand Hall. We had planned the wedding day for months. The wedding, an outdoor ceremony, was followed with a touching love story video, live band, artist, photo booth, fireworks and more. The staff accommodated our every wish which made the day terrific. Our guests were entertained and treated with extra care. We could not have asked for a better time or more memories to hold in our hearts. BTW: The winery is a wine lovers delight. -

Above & Beyond
One day before our wedding our wedding planner was in a terrible accident and had to hand our wedding off to a new planner - being the bridezilla I was I was a complete wreck. Patrick and his team at Trump stood by me and stepped in to make our day absolutely everything we wanted. Although typically this is the day of coordinators duties, Patrick took on our wedding like he had been planning it alongside of us all along. I cannot express my gratitude enough! -

I felt like an absolute princess on my wedding day at Trump Winery! The venue was breathtaking in every respect, from thoughtful details in the Chapel and Barn to picture perfect views on the whole property. Patrick, the event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and there was impressive professionalism at every step of the process. Could not have imagined a more perfect venue for such an important day- thank you!!

Absolute Dream Venue!!
Trump Winery was a dream venue! It is stunning, peaceful and everything a girl could imagine on her wedding day. Having your ceremony and reception in the same place was great for guests and made everything flow together perfectly. My husband and I stayed at Albemarle Estate on our wedding night and plan to go back every year on our anniversary! Patrick with Trump Winery was so helpful during the entire wedding planning process. Best venue hands down!!! -

Trump Winery Barn & Pavilion made for the perfect venue for our wedding. Every part of Trump Winery offers stunning views, especially inside the chapel on site. The weather was perfect, the lawn was perfect for cocktail hour and people were able to mingle outside before the reception began. Patrick was wonderful to work with, and answered every question that we had. Trump Winery makes for the perfect venue. -

We got married at the Barn, and had the reception at the Pavilion. We even had a back up rain plan at their gorgeous chapel. The venue was hands down the most beautiful venue we looked at for the best price! We even did a bridal lunch at the winery the day before. They also have amazing wine!

Diana Sent on 12/15/2017My now husband and I are not from Virginia but the idea of a winery wedding was what I had my heart set on as we started our wedding planning. On our first trip to Charlottesville we visited 3 wineries prior to visiting Trump and after our appointment we cancelled our next two appointments because we knew this was the place. There is not one thing about this venue that isn't perfect. We booked the barn and pavilion location for our wedding and reception and the classic, rustic elegance of these two buildings speak for itself. Our guests were blown away when they arrived as this truly is a hidden gem within the hills of Virginia and it truly made for a magical day. None of this would have been possible though if it hadn't been for the amazing staff at Trump. Patrick Butler was who we met with at our first appointment and he was nothing but responsive and accommodating to our every request and question as we planned our wedding over the next year. He went above and beyond the day before our wedding when we had a transportation crisis and was on the phone calling people for us and doing everything he could to help. I already had the perfect man but having our wedding at Trump Winery gave us the perfect start to the next chapter of our life!

The venue is extremely practical for guests and beyond beautiful; it's a great representation of what central Virginia has to offer. Below are a few details about the venue and its event staff that are the reason for my five-star review:
Patrick Butler and the staff at Trump always went above and beyond. My father is in a wheelchair and we had a few special requests to make the wedding day go as smoothly for him as possible; Patrick was accommodating and utterly professional at every turn. He was extremely responsive to every email and query anyone involved with our wedding sent, and allowed us to visit the venue as many additional times as we needed during our planning process.
Both my husband and I are Catholic, and having a Catholic mass was important to us. The Chapel at Trump is a space for all denominations, but is also a sanctioned Catholic chapel, meaning that any Catholic priest will perform a wedding mass there. This made the day easy for our guests; they didn't have to go between a church and a reception venue, and we didn't have to worry about potential congestion/traffic due to other events in the Charlottesville area--Trump Winery was truly one-stop shopping for both our mass and reception venue.
Trump Winery is truly a stunning venue in any season. There are many natural environments in one area, which was great for the overall "look" of our wedding and our wedding photos. If you're planning a fall wedding in Virginia, the views here can't be topped! Working with Trump Winery was one of the best experiences I had in planning my wedding, and I'd highly recommend them to other engaged couples. -

Diane Sent on 10/26/2017When we initially saw the buildings and the property, we knew that this would be the place for us. The price, when compared with similar locations, was a value. Enough cannot be said about the timely replies and the extent to which the staff (Patrick Butler in particular) went to give us the detail and unique touches that were important to our celebration. The chapel was a beautiful place to have our Nuptial Mass and the expansive outdoor area at the Barn and Pavilion made Virginia shine for our out of state visitors.

Patrick Butler (Director of Events) and Sarah Hudson (Operations Coordinator) were extremely professional and responsive from our initial tour of the venue all the way thru the wedding day. The venue itself is magnificent and our guests can't stop talking about how beautiful the Grand Hall views and interior were. We simply cannot recommend this venue and its exception staff enough to anyone looking to get married in the Charlottesville, VA area. The wines are amazing too! -

We had a Monday wedding for 75 at Trump Winery & got married in their chapel and had a reception in the barn & pavilion. It was picture perfect but could not have been pulled off without our wedding planner (Hannah Rose Design). She knew the venue like the back of her hand as she has worked with multiple people at the venue in the past. Our venue “coordinator” quit a week before our wedding, but again Hannah made the day perfect. The location itself is picturesque and we loved every minute of our wedding. There’s nothing like the chapel, it’s intimate and the closest I’ve ever felt to being a real princess and living out a fairytale for the day. Book this venue (just hire a great planner like Hannah)!! -

Lots of options including a chapel, cocktail hour and reception location. Price can be on the high side but you get what you pay for. Scenery unlike anything you've ever seen.
