  What an awesome experience

  Really appreciate all KLK did for us. Paul worked with us to create the unique experience we were looking for and Kristi has such a natural gift. Our pictures will definitely be one of a kind because of them and we are so blessed. Their artistic expression is beyond anything we could’ve hoped or imagined. Really appreciate all you did to capture not only our wedding but our after shoot, as well. They take their profession seriously, have the talent and are just good people to the core. So, so grateful to have found KLK. They will be our photographer for years to come. These are the photographers you will want to use for your wedding. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. Thanks guys!

  My wife and I absolutely LOVE pictures! We are, for a better term, "picture people" and we are the type to put in the time and effort to take multiple shots until we find that one angle and image that is truly "picture perfect!"
  
  We simply relish these "picture perfect" shots. We are by no means professional photographers but we have a genuine appreciation for the art of photography. The camera is an amazing tool for a photographer to input their own perspective and artistry. I believe the ultimate objective for a photographer is to create images that are beautiful and timelessly memorable!
  
  I have no reservation in recommending Kristi and Paul as photographers who possess the mastery, experience, and most importantly, artistry of the camera to capture and create "picture perfect" photos that you will cherish for a lifetime! They will guide you through the many different poses and stances needed to find that timeless shot. They have so much experience with so many different locations that it seems effortless for them to find the perfect angle or lighting for a shot.
  
  Their website, however, does not do justice in showing just how beautiful and sincere these two are as human beings. The talent and artistry is unquestionable - there's visual evidence you can see for yourself! - but I want to share with you on what a joy it was to work with this amazing couple. Kristi and Paul are just genuinely kind and good people! During our pre-wedding shoot, there was some unfortunate construction going on for one of our planned locations and they offered to bring their cameras another day when the construction is complete to finish the shots! There is a very natural charm and easiness about them and this value is even more highlighted when you are dealing with all of the frenzy and stresses of your wedding day!
  
  Thank you Kristi and Paul for capturing THE "picture perfect" sunset shot of our lives! We are forever grateful to the both of you!

  KLK went above and beyond what I ever imagined a wedding photographer to do. Kristi is just an amazing person, always a smile on her face, and all of our guests and family members loved them. We had a lot of requests for specific things and they handled them with grace and ease - it couldn't have been easy as we had to do a lot in a small amount of time. She was super helpful in creating the wedding day timeline and suggesting things that we might want as well (she's the expert!). Also super flexible in all the details, and the type of photos were exactly what we were looking for - I've had multiple people tell me the photos are stunning and unique. Worth every single penny!!! Love!!!

  When my husband and I saw our wedding photos we literally were speechless! I mean jaw on the floor kind of speechless. Kristi and Paul Klemens are the sweetest people to work with and their talent and experience is off the charts. They took so many pictures and captured every single moment and detail of our special day. The crazy thing is we had no idea they were even there on our wedding day. But boy when our pictures arrived we realized they definitely were there. They were EVERYWHERE. They don't just take the standard straight forward family pics you see from every wedding. They capture people's facial expressions, the emotion, the reactions. Kristi didn't skip a beat when it came to our picture requests and we had a laundry list and a very large wedding party/wedding. There is nothing she can't handle. A picture is worth a thousand words and we can't say enough about both our wedding and engagement pictures. We have watched them on our tv as a slideshow more times than we can count... while we drink champagne and relive our wedding.
  
  Please take our word for it when we say that you do not need to shop around for a photographer. You can stop now! For any occasion KLK Photography is your one stop shop. But hurry and book fast because they are in super HOT demand! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! TRUST US!!

  Kristi and Paul were great. My husband is a photo-phobic- he hates to have his picture taken, even though he is very photogenic. Kristi and Paul met us a couple of times to try to make my husband feel comfortable. I really appreciate their efforts and kindness in doing so. Kristi truly is one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Our wedding was in late January at Pelican Hill - ceremony, cocktails and dinner outside, and the party inside. The day of was gorgeous, and they captured it perfectly. I would highly recommend KLK – they are great at getting amazing shots of people, but also the perfect scenery shots to remember such a special day.

  I cannot say enough amazing things about Kristi, Paul & the team at KLK. I have known Kristi for a few years now and have worked with her on a couple of photo shoots. Every time that I saw the photos I was absolutely amazed. Once we started to think about vendors for our wedding, Kristi was actually the first person I knew that I wanted to book for our wedding. The KLK team has such an amazing way of making you feel completely comfortable from the first moment they meet you. On the day of the wedding, all of our wedding party absolutely loved working with them as well. I will refer everyone I know to them or to whoever happens to ask about a good photographer.

  Kristi is not only an amazing photographer but also an all around wonderful person to have by your side on your wedding day. Her and her team worked so hard to capture the best moments of our entire day while also making sure my husband and I were comfortable, happy, and well fed (literally fed us snacks while transitioning throughout our day). We interviewed at least 5 other photographers but we knew after leaving our initial consultation with KLK that they were the perfect fit to add to our top of line team of vendors.
  Kristi has an excellent eye for lighting and the picture perfect shots are so unique while capturing genuine feelings in every photo. I highly recommend KLK Photography to anyone wanting great quality pictures that you can look back at years from now and still be in complete awe.

  Kristi and her husband Paul stepped in to photograph our wedding when our original photographer became ill and was unable to work. They even did the wedding pro bono and allowed him to keep the money we had paid him for his medical bills! So right away, they already earned 5 stars from us. But my adoration for them only grew on the day of the wedding. They were perfect. They were incredibly professional and yet also so friendly. It was joy to have them around all day and so much fun to work with. They happily set up and photographed the long list of requests from my family as well as came up with some great original ideas for shots that I loved. The pictures have turned out beautiful and I am so happy with everything. I can't say enough good things about these two!

  My wife had seen Kristi’s work before and fell in love. Once I met Kristi, and her husband Paul, I knew they would be perfect for our destination wedding on the Big Island of Hawaii. Working with Kristi from KLK photography was everything we could have hoped for and more. From our very first meeting, Kristi and Paul were already getting ideas and giving us recommendations for shots that would look great. We ended up doing our engagement photos at a variety of different locations and Kristi and Paul took photos of us that we still can’t believe. The way they captured the emotion of the day and their style really is something unique and special. We were married on the Big Island and Kristi and Paul even flew out early to scout out the area and get ideas of what shots they wanted to get. Our wedding was not a normal destination wedding and we had over a 100 family and friends. It took a lot to manage all those family pictures and KLK did it with such ease. Everyone got to know Kristi and Paul and enjoyed having them around the whole week. Our big day turned out perfectly and we were able to get all the shots we wanted and more. Kristi and Paul had some really creative and unique ideas and we can’t wait to see the final pictures. I would definitely recommend KLK to any engaged couple as they really take the time to get to know you and your bride and I guarantee you will be more than happy with them.   Kristi and Paul are incredibly gifted photographers and great people to work with. They both have an amazing eye that captures photos in a unique, special and beautiful way. We hired them for our wedding and over and over again they showed us that they were a great choice. Our engagement pictures were beautiful and our wedding pictures are over the top. They are extremely hard working but yet, always have a smile on their face and love to laugh and put you at ease. I will never hire another photographer but the two of them. We love this couple and highly recommend them for all of your photography needs. Truly one of kind!!

  Where do I even start when it comes to writing a review for KLK Photography? My wedding planner introduced me to Kristi and I knew she was the one the minute I met her. The quality of her work, her professionalism, amazing eye and fabulous personality made it very easy to pick her for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding (and will be planning a trash the dress session soon as well). My fiancée isn’t the biggest fan of doing photos, and working with Kristi and her husband Paul made it so comfortable for us. Within minutes we were both relaxed and had the time of our lives at our engagement shoot. The photos turned out amazing, and we were excited to have them do our wedding as well. During the time in between the shoot and my wedding, Kristi and Paul did the photography for the annual gala the non-profit I work for puts on. This was the first time we had professional photography done and it made all the difference in the world for publication afterwards. Then came the big wedding day…they were amazing. Their visions and their eyes saw shots that none of us could have imagined. We got shots in locations at Pelican Hill that no one else has been able to get, and it was amazing. They made all of the staged photos feel comfortable and unstaged. Our wedding party is a funny group and none of them are used to photos, but Kristi and Paul made it feel so natural for everyone, and it worked out perfectly. I haven’t seen ALL the photos yet, but even just with the 50 or so we have seen I couldn’t be more impressed. I can’t wait to keep working with KLK in the future!

  Where do I even start when it comes to writing a review for KLK Photography? My wedding planner introduced me to Kristi and I knew she was the one the minute I met her. The quality of her work, her professionalism, amazing eye and fabulous personality made it very easy to pick her for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding (and will be planning a trash the dress session soon as well). My fiancée isn’t the biggest fan of doing photos, and working with Kristi and her husband Paul made it so comfortable for us. Within minutes we were both relaxed and had the time of our lives at our engagement shoot. The photos turned out amazing, and we were excited to have them do our wedding as well. During the time in between the shoot and my wedding, Kristi and Paul did the photography for the annual gala the non-profit I work for puts on. This was the first time we had professional photography done and it made all the difference in the world for publication afterwards. Then came the big wedding day…they were amazing. Their visions and their eyes saw shots that none of us could have imagined. We got shots in locations at Pelican Hill that no one else has been able to get, and it was amazing. They made all of the staged photos feel comfortable and unstaged. Our wedding party is a funny group and none of them are used to photos, but Kristi and Paul made it feel so natural for everyone, and it worked out perfectly. I haven’t seen ALL the photos yet, but even just with the 50 or so we have seen I couldn’t be more impressed. I can’t wait to keep working with KLK in the future!

  I just met Kristi last weekend when I did a boudoir photoshoot for my husband. I was really nervous about doing it and had been researching photographers and Kristi was the first one to to actually make me feel comfortable enough to sign up to do it! She let me ask as many questions as I needed to in order to feel comfortable! When I arrived on Sunday for the photo shoot, she took time to ask me the style of photography that I prefer and let me show her the type of photos that I like. She also helped me pick what outfits would work best! She was SO great at directing me and was incredibly detail oriented when it came to my hair and posing! She took way more time with me than I am sure she intended just to make sure we got the right shot. She also has an AWESOME studio with so many different options. It was so much easier than trying to find my own location! I wish I had met Kristi before my wedding! She is such a sweet person, easy to work with, and amazingly talented as well!

  As my wife and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding the process became quite tedious and challenging. However, we did love the pictures which came out from my good friend's wedding and decided to reach out to her. This was Kristi! What caught our eye was her style and artistry.   Kristi is AMAZING!!! My husband and I were blown away by her artistic capabilities, the quality of her photography and her passion for what she does! I really believe Kristi is one of the best in her craft and professional style. Being a perfectionist, I became a true bridezilla during the wedding process and would not settle for less than the best. My husband and I knew we had to have her do our wedding after seeing our the work she did for a friend's wedding, and I am 110% certain that we chose the right photographer. We will cherish our photographs forever. Not only is she an amazing photographer, her personality is also effortless and amazing. LOVE HER!

  Kristi Klemens is fantastic!!!! We absolutely loved working with her! Her photography is amazing!!!!! I just love her creativity. Her photographs are so much more than just a picture. They are more like art. Kristi and her husband Paul were such a joy to work with.   She, Paul Bennett (of Blue Sky Videos), and our 2nd shooter, Melissa McClure showed up early the morning of our wedding day and immediately started shooting. Because of timing, sunlight, etc, Kristi and I decided to do away with traditional pics after the ceremony and chose to shoot pre-ceremony pics and a first reveal -- we couldn't have made a better choice! Mu husband and I were able to spend a few hours alone taking pictures before the walk down the aisle and before the madness of the reception - where literally, you have zero time alone to just relish in the fact that you are married and talk about the day's events.
  
  Kristi had teasers in my inbox within 48 hours after our wedding!
  
  Now it's the long and impatient wait until all our pictures are done -- but I'm positive they will be worth the wait. If we were to plan all over again, I'd definitely book Kristi Klemens and Melissa McClure all over again!

  I can't believe I took a whole year before writing this review for Kristi. However, the service that I got from her is SOOO AMAZING that I still can't stop talking about her to all my friends! We got married in Sept 2009 and we in fact did not hire Kristi to be our wedding photog. Unfortunately we had a VERY BAD experience with our wedding photog which left me extremely unsatisfied with our wedding photos. In order to make up for that, we decided to find another photog to do a "trash the dress" session and Kristi was the one we ended up picking! She is so nice and easy-going - we had an instant connection with her right after the 1st meeting with her. And not to mention that she is extremely flexible and in fact met us in San Diego (where we lived at the time) even though she works in the OC area. We wanted to do the TTD session before the weather got cold, but both Kristi and we had really busy schedule in the next couple months so we never firmed up a date at the beginning. In November, we were able to find a free day which Kristi was supposed to be free, and contacted her and she immediately said OKAY even though we didn't give her too much notice (something like 3 days in advance)! The day of the photo shoot.... it was SOOOO AMAZING. She is EXTREMELY talented! I'm quite shy in front of camera but she made me very comfortable and could just be myself. We wanted a combination of different backgrounds which meant traveling to different locations. Kristi was extremely accommodating and took us from Laguna downtown, to the Montage beach, and then ended in a field with cool scenery and lighting in San Juan Capistrano. I finally felt so relieved and happy that we had shoot almost everything that I had in mind. Just a week or 2 later, Kristi had finished editing our photos and they came out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We are so in love with all of them.... so much more than our wedding photos! We are so happy that we decided to do the TTD shoot with her and would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone!

  Kristi is an amazing photographer! We really could not be happier with the photos from our wedding and our engagement shoot--they are unique, artistic, beautiful. Not only is Kristi extremely talented, but she is also very easy to work with. It was important to us that our photographer blend in with our guests and friends because we've been to weddings where the photographer basically orders everyone around--well, Kristi was so friendly and easy-going that most of our guests assumed she was a friend! Of course, we still wanted her to get wonderful pictures of moments we remembered and moments we might have missed--and she more than surpassed our expectations on that count as well! I don't know how I'm going to pick among the photos she sent--they are all so good! Any photographer can take one excellent photo--Kristi gave us hundreds of excellent photos! Best of all, Kristi really listens to you and works with you. We didn't want that many pictures of us--we wanted her to focus more on getting lots of pictures of our guests having fun. We figured we'd sacrifice getting that amazing picture of us, but we didn't have to--Kristi was able to get lots of beautiful pictures of us and then, as we wished, get lots of great pictures of our guests as well. We also had a fairly untraditional wedding and, unlike some vendors we talked to, Kristi was completely excited about our ideas, and made sure to get lots of pictures of the different things we incorporated that were special to us (she brought two wonderful assistants to make sure she didn't miss anything). The best recommendation I can give is that everyone who sees the pictures says, "wow, you had a wonderful photographer"! And I feel proud for finding her! Kristi is fantastic--I'd recommend her to anyone (I've already recommended her to a friend for whom I'm going to be maid of honor in a few months).
