  Kim is the BEST!

  I was so lucky to find Kim to do my hair & makeup for my wedding 9/27/25, and I don't think I could have found anyone else who would've been as fun, relaxing, and magical to work with. Kim really brought out my inner Forest Queen for my outdoor autumn wedding, and all day I was glowing. Not only did she deliver with her cosmetic skills, but she was such a calming and warm presence to have during the mild chaos going around during the pre-walk prep. I will always recommend Kim for any hair & makeup need, and she will be my #1 call if I need to look like more than a 10/10 ❤️😊

  Fun, Fancy and Fast!

  Kim was incredible at not only creating the looks my bride tribe and myself wanted, but doing them very quickly but securely. She could curl, style, and complete an updo in 20 minutes flat - ideal when you have a larger bridal party. We finished hair a full hour earlier than expected! It also stayed all day long on the rare hot, humid, Maine summer day. I'd suggest having specific photos of the look you want, and Kim can do it. She was also great at being matter of fact when some of us (myself included) were getting worried about things, she was honest but helped us all achieve our end goals.

  Kim is fantastic. I was very lucky that she was still available for our wedding date and it was a pleasure working with her from beginning to end. Kim is a very experienced professional and in addition to doing a fabulous job with the bridal and wedding party hair, she was also responsive and clear. And I so appreciated that Kim was also kind, friendly and funny, and that she made me feel at ease throughout the process, especially on my wedding day. We had a few last-minute requests to work around a wardrobe change that included a heavy hairpiece and Kim knew exactly what to do and was so accommodating. Our wedding party was nearly all women of color and it was really awesome to work with someone who knew how to work with different hair types and textures and made us all look fabulous- and not look all the same. Do yourself a favor and hire Kim Doll!

  Kim was wonderful, everyone looked great and was so happy with the results, my mom had picked out a style that was a bit outdated and traditional and Kim made her look smoking!! We were all blown away. The hair held up throughout the day – one bridesmaid even rocked it the next day. Kim did a fabulous job and was so down to earth, all the hair came out great without hair yanking/pulling, copious amounts of booby pins and lung fulls of hairspray. She did a fabulous job and we all had a great time chatting with her throughout the morning. She felt like an extension of the wedding party.

  Kim was such a savior. After burning my hand trying to teach myself how to curl hair I was desperate to find a hairdresser. When I found Kim I knew I could rest easy. Wedding hair is all she does!. The trial went smooth and quick! I knew something was missing. After I put some highlights in my hair the I got the look I was going for. The day of I could not believe the results. I have never loved a hair look more on myself or anyone else for that matter. It was beyond my expectations. Kim was very flexible during the flurry of activity and very accommodating to the circumstance of the Inn which do not provide the easiest working conditions for a hair dresser.

  We all had such a great time with Kim, she was Easy going and funny. I would recommend her to anyone!

  I can't even begin to explain how thrilled I am to have found Kim! I live in South Carolina and planned my wedding on North Haven island (12 miles off the coast) from afar. I was so nervous to hire hair and makeup professionals from afar but I had Kim Doll recommended to me by many other people in the area. I hired Kim over the phone and was completely sold that she was the right person from about 2 minutes of conversation over the phone. Not only is Kim funny and kind, but she genuinely knows what she is doing. She is one talented lady! It took her about two minutes to put together the style I requested at our trial and it looked even better than I could have imagined on the actual day. Kim really listened to what me and my bridesmaids wanted and was very accommodating to making changes etc based on personal preferences (easy when you're a hair magician!). I would HIGHLY recommend Kim to anyone looking for the best hair stylist around whether they are local or planning from afar.
