Amazing Photographer - Chicago Engagement Session

Kevin is an amazing photographer! My fiancé and I are in a unique situation in that we are getting married in Dayton but live in Chicago. We wanted to have our engagement photos in Chicago and Kevin was more than happy to work with us to make that happen. He was organized and helpful in planning the locations and flexible when we had to postpone a week due to weather. My fiancé and I aren’t big picture-takers so we were both a little nervous but Kevin made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. And the pictures were stunning! Kevin posed us just enough to ensure we looked our best while still looking and feeling very natural. He not only photographed us beautifully but also captured all the beauty of the parks, lakefront and city views of Chicago that we were hoping our photos would reflect. We are so happy with our engagement photos and looking forward to being photographed again by Kevin on our big day!

Hoerner Wedding at Magnolia Estate

Kevin is so talented and an excellent, professional, photographer. Very reasonably priced for all the photos he does. Kevin photographed our daughter, Hannah Irene, and her fiance Trent Hoerner, engagement pictures last fall and small wedding pics in late July. Kevin will take the photos for Hannah and Trent next July as well for their celebration ceremony and reception. Strongly advise you speak to Kevin for any special photography needs you have. (I was NOT paid to say that, he is just that good :))

Kevin did our engagement pictures. He was fantastic! So flexible and helpful. His website alone is very helpful! Our pictures are beautiful and the entire experience was awesome. Highly highly recommend Kevin Lush. You won’t regret it!

Fantastic!

Kevin was fantastic! We chose him for engagement photos in Cincinnati downtown (we had our wedding too far away to have him do this too). He did a great job putting us at ease and letting us just be ourselves, yet still provide enough direction to us having not done this before. He was punctual and yet still flexible to our unique suggestions asking him to photograph in the bar we met. He truly captured our personalities and we had a blast!! Oh--and he got our photos back very quickly!

Great Day!

We worked with Kevin for our engagement session and wedding day and he couldn't have been better to work with! He made everything so simple and easy from the beginning, even including our dog in the engagement shoot! Through the wedding day, he always seemed to be there to capture the perfect shot - I don't know how he did it. We were lucky to have the opportunity to work with him and are so fortunate to have so many great shots to remember the day with. I'd recommend him to anyone and I just wish all our vendors were like him!

Excellent Experience!

Kevin Lush Photography was amazing to work with. I knew right away he was the right photographer for us. He had quick response times and was easy to talk to. My husband is Greek and from the Chicago area, having photos that brought a downtown city vibe was top on our list. We did our engagement photos in the Oregon District. We now love walking around downtown remembering where our photos were taken. Our wedding was a two day event and Kevin was there to capture it all. He arrived at least 30 minutes early and left only when he thought the job was complete. He never made me feel like he was hired by the hour. I had a lively bunch to keep track of and Kevin was relaxed and ready at every second. We never had to wait on him! I was worried about capturing the beauty of the Greek Orthodox church in the dark of winter but Kevin delivered! The church was the perfect backdrop to the most memorable day of my life. Kevin had images of our wedding day to us before we boarded our plane for our honeymoon. I highly recommend Kevin.

Go with Kevin for creative, classic photos!

My daughter had a winter wedding and luckily the snow gods shone down upon us! Kevin captured perfectly the wintry essence and old Hollywood feel my daughter was going for. It was a perfect day, memorialized incomparably by Kevin!

Great photographer!

We had one problem with our photos, there are absolutely way too many great pictures to choose from. Kevin also did our engagement pics and we loved them also. Kevin is great to work with and I would highly recommend him. He also gets your pictures back to you pretty quickly. I had mine like 9 days after my wedding.

Fun and easy going

Kevin did such an amazing job photographing our wedding at the Masonic Center and with our free engagement session!! We couldn't be more grateful! The photos were all beautiful and we have so many options to chose from! I was very determined to have two photographers to make sure that nothing got missed, but after seeing Kevin's work and meeting with him, I was confident in his ability, and he didn't disappoint. He didn't miss a single shot, there's nothing that I wish was done differently, or anything that we felt was missing. With Kevin's amazing attention to detail so there's really no reason to worry about small details, because he sees and notices them all.

We did his 12 hour package, so he was not only there for getting ready photos, the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception, but he also was there when we went out after the reception for drinks so he was able to get some pretty awesome end of the night pictures.

We received our engagement photos the next day and we got all of our wedding photos 6 days after the wedding. I don't know if any reviews can even do him justice, I would 100% recommend Kevin to anyone looking for an amazing photographer!!!

The bear day ever!

Kevin is above and beyond everything a wedding photographer should be. He has an incredible focus on the day and making it special for not only the bride but the groom and the family as well. He is a very thoughtful and inclusive photographer. Thoughtful in the way he captures pictures you would have never thought to ask for and inclusive in the way he makes even your family and friends feel special/important. I am beyond lucky and so happy that he was able to do our pictures for our special day. We had unique circumstances (deployment) that required us to change our wedding date from 6 months away to 5 weeks away on a Wednesday. He was not only delightfully accommodating but was equally excited and embraced the fast approaching day a long with us. Kevin also made a wonderful recommendation of the DJ we used who we were beyond pleased with. We are very lucky to have someone like Kevin to have captured one of the best days of our lives.

Kevin Lush was absolutely wonderful to work with on our wedding day. Kevin has the perfect ability to remain laid back while also being timely and efficient. He snapped photos at moments I would have never thought to take a picture but they turned out beautiful. My family absolutely loves our wedding photos. I really appreciate the ability to have all the photos on a USB drive and online gallery so you are able to print as many copies as you would like - this is a bonus many other photographers do not provide. Kevin also got some great shots of our wedding guests enjoying the reception that have been so fun to review. Your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye but having quality photos helps you relive the fun over and over! Thank you!

Kevin was fantastic throughout our entire wedding preparation process and through the entire wedding day. He is creative, flexible, professional, and very reasonably priced. We love the coffee table book he created for us, and the convenience of having access to all of the digital photos. We would highly recommend him to anyone preparing for a wedding or other event!

Kevin married my wife and I on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at Camp Mary Orton in Worthington/Columbus, Ohio.

He took our engagement photo's in my mother-in-law's backyard and was willing to travel in order to do so. Our engagement photos were amazing and Kevin made the shoot so much fun.

On our wedding day, Kevin was incredible. He knew how to keep things moving, he was patient yet efficient with the time allotted, and he took great shots. He captured what we wanted from our day and evening. We could not have been more pleased with choosing Kevin to shoot one of most special days of our lives.

Kevin just recently photographed my wedding and it was a wonderful experience. He is professional, quick, and knows what types of shots he is going for. Kevin also likes to hear your ideas for photos, but if you don't come with your own he has many poses. He was a joy to work with and I would recommend him to anyone in the Ohio area, because even though there was a small, reasonable fee he traveled for my wedding. The engagement session photos were given to me couple days later and the wedding photos were a week later. Please meet with him and see what I am talking about, you will fall in love!

We could not be more in love with our engagement and wedding pictures! The day of our wedding Kevin was endlessly taking pictures, posed and candid. He had the best ideas and was willing to take anything specific we wanted as well. He also got us all of our pictures and a book of his favorites within 1-2 weeks. Amazing!

We still cannot believe what a good value we got for this. We knew the photographer would be one of the most important parts of our wedding and we are not disappointed!!

Kevin helped with the success on my wedding day. He had great ideas and placed us quickly on a very hot day. Kevin was also willing to take pictures I asked during the middle of the reception. He is creative with his shots and makes everyone feel comfortable. Kevin is very knowledgeable and helps everyone know their position, as well as allowing creativity during the shoot. Kevin was great to work with. He emailed me within an hour about inquiring about shooting my wedding. Kevin was the photographer at my friend's wedding and I never saw and was truly amazed at the photos he was able to capture. Our engagement photos were wonderful; it was hard to pick what to use for our save the dates. It's nice he sends you all the photos so you can really pick what you like best. For our wedding, he got amazing family photos and perfectly captured our day. I'd gladly recommend Kevin for anyone's wedding.

Kevin was amazing! First, he was amazingly responsive throughout our planning process. He also arrived on time. Second, he is amazing! (I know I already said that). He has this way of capturing moments in such a unique and special way. My favorite picture is where I am getting ready. My sister and fried were putting on my dress and my mom was sitting on the bed. Kevin took a picture that included those in my dress, but then my mom's reflection was in the mirror. It was such a special moment that was captured beautifully. He also took various pieces of our decor and put them all together in such fun ways. You can really get a feel for our wedding through his photos. And he did all of this without being asked or without suggestion. I actually didn't even notice him half the time. He was just going about his business and capturing everything beautifully. I would recommend him to anyone and cannot say enough how great he is.

We are so fortunate to have had Kevin photograph our wedding! He captured our day perfectly and gave us the best memories of our wedding day I could have asked for! His ability to capture those moment you don't even realize are happening until you see them is amazing. His quick response to all of my questions though the entire process was like no other. Not to mention the turn around time on receiving all of our photos was about a week!! He can shoot any style you want, for me I didn't want cookie cutter wedding photos and he 100% delivered! Thank you so much Kevin!!

We had relatively little time to plan our wedding because of a quick engagement, but that did not affect the quality and responsiveness we received from Kevin. We had a sit-down meeting with Kevin about one month prior to the wedding. He answered all of our questions, and even answered questions we did not know to ask! He is very professional and he has photographed 85+ weddings, so he knows what shots to get, where to be, and what is important to the bride and groom. He responded quickly to every e-mail, provided us with any information we asked for in a very honest and respectful manner, and even had images posted to Facebook for us to enjoy hours after the ceremony!

Kevin did a great job with our pictures and was easy to work with and very professional through the whole process. He was very creative with the pictures during the ceremony and the reception. Kevin was constantly working during the wedding and we where very happy with all of our pictures. We were satisfied with everything he did for us.

Kevin's work is timeless and amazingly creative! We were extremely happy with all of the pictures that he took. He is great to work with, and he offers his professional advice and detail while listening to your needs and wishes. He was there for every special moment of the day, capturing all of them in his own creative way. Kevin had creative ideas for interesting shots, provided good directions, and also gave us the freedom to do our own thing. I loved how authentic and "in the moment" the pictures turned out. He was friendly, flexible, and

Kevin Lush was wonderful! We had struggled for a while to find a photographer that was affordable and still did good work. Kevin listened to our needs/what we were looking for and designed a package that fit us! Not only that, but he was at the wedding from start to finish and took some amazing shots both indoors and out. Some of them were absolutely amazing! He could do both traditional posed pictures as well as some photojournalistic and more creative pictures using unique camera angels and interesting poses. Best in Dayton!

Kevin & Kelly were absolutely amazing! Kevin captures moments that are "real" yet beautiful & artistic! He finds the shots that will make you "feel" those moments & your wedding, years- even decades later. Kelly was as much an assistant to us as she was to Kevin. I don't know how we would have gotten through our wedding nearly as seamlessly as we did without her! After years of working as a professional model & working with countless photographers, there is no one else I would have chosen for our wedding!

We heard about Kevin Lush from a friend who was impressed by his work at her wedding, and what drew us to him initially was the creativeness of his photography. During our engagement and wedding photo sessions, Kevin was full of ideas of how to play with the scenery to add fun twists. He was fun to work with, and he was completely open to anything we wanted to try, taking our ideas and expanding on them. He was also great at setting up "classic" family photos at the wedding, and the candid photos he took as he circulated at the reception were excellent as well. He clearly knew about composition, clever camera angles, and effects of light and shadow. After each session, we received our disk of photos surprisingly quickly, along with the rights to make as many copies as we want for as long as we want (another big plus for Kevin; so many photographers don't give you full control of your photos, and it is rare to receive your photos within a matter of weeks). The finished copies were skillfully edited using professional software, and there were SO MANY great ones to choose from. We absolutely recommend Kevin as a dependable, professional, reasonably priced, talented photographer.

Book Kevin Lush Photography now!!! it would not surprise me if 2012 dates are going fast. I knew from the moment I was engaged that Kevin was going to be doing my wedding photos!!! He has an artisitc flare that captures the inbetween moments that are to die for. Plus he does great with the formal stuff too. Kevin Lush Photography services are very affordable and helps to take be back in the moment... so hard to remember all of what happend that day. Kevin himself is an outstanding person and goes above and beyond to make his brides and grooms day special.

Kevin did such a wonderful job. He met with us so that he knew what we wanted. He was extremely professional. He got great photos of our wedding without us noticing him around. I would highly recomend anyone to hire Kevin.

He arrived on time and stayed longer than agreed upon which was great. He gave us all of the pictures he took on CDs and DVDs, so that we could send them to any photo center to get developed for great prices, and have gift items made.

However, he didn't get any pictures of me getting ready, but my sister took a few. And there were a lot of dead flowers in the backgrounds of pictures where the family and bridal party posed together, so I had to take a lot of time editing them out myself (even though he said numerous times that the dead flowers would not be in the pictures). He did no editing or photo shopping, just took the pictures and gave them to us raw.
