Kevin Lush was wonderful! We had struggled for a while to find a photographer that was affordable and still did good work. Kevin listened to our needs/what we were looking for and designed a package that fit us! Not only that, but he was at the wedding from start to finish and took some amazing shots both indoors and out. Some of them were absolutely amazing! He could do both traditional posed pictures as well as some photojournalistic and more creative pictures using unique camera angels and interesting poses. Best in Dayton!

We heard about Kevin Lush from a friend who was impressed by his work at her wedding, and what drew us to him initially was the creativeness of his photography. During our engagement and wedding photo sessions, Kevin was full of ideas of how to play with the scenery to add fun twists. He was fun to work with, and he was completely open to anything we wanted to try, taking our ideas and expanding on them. He was also great at setting up "classic" family photos at the wedding, and the candid photos he took as he circulated at the reception were excellent as well. He clearly knew about composition, clever camera angles, and effects of light and shadow. After each session, we received our disk of photos surprisingly quickly, along with the rights to make as many copies as we want for as long as we want (another big plus for Kevin; so many photographers don't give you full control of your photos, and it is rare to receive your photos within a matter of weeks). The finished copies were skillfully edited using professional software, and there were SO MANY great ones to choose from. We absolutely recommend Kevin as a dependable, professional, reasonably priced, talented photographer.

He arrived on time and stayed longer than agreed upon which was great. He gave us all of the pictures he took on CDs and DVDs, so that we could send them to any photo center to get developed for great prices, and have gift items made.

However, he didn't get any pictures of me getting ready, but my sister took a few. And there were a lot of dead flowers in the backgrounds of pictures where the family and bridal party posed together, so I had to take a lot of time editing them out myself (even though he said numerous times that the dead flowers would not be in the pictures). He did no editing or photo shopping, just took the pictures and gave them to us raw.
