  I feel very lucky to have had Kelly Wood as our wedding photographer. The photos she took are stunning, unique, and capture the emotion, love, and details of our day. I've heard feedback from multiple friends that our photos are "the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen" -- and you know these days everyone is exposed to a LOT of wedding photos!
  
  Kelly is organized and creative, and very dedicated to her work. You can rest assured that she will think of everything and take care of it, while keeping what you want in mind. She has an artist's eye that you can trust completely -- when inspiration strikes and she wants one last shot, it's because it's going to turn out awesome, so just do it! She has the perfect balance of being easygoing while still being able to take charge of a group shoot and give direction.
  
  Trust was important for me, since I was planning my San Diego wedding from out of the country. She was flexible in working with me through email and FaceTime at odd hours. While we didn't actually meet until the day of the wedding (which sounds crazy!) I felt like I already knew her and was at ease in her company throughout the day.
  
  It's key to have a photographer who's also a skilled photo editor, and that she is! She'll take care of your photos all the way through the process. I'm confident that hiring her is one of the best decisions we made for our special day.

  My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kelly for both our engagement and wedding photos. She exceeded any expectations that we had and we could not be happier with the service we received. It’s hard to narrow down the things that make Kelly stand out, but here are some of the things we appreciated the most.
  
  Kelly is professional yet collaborative. It is clear that Kelly is an expert in her craft. If you look at her website you can see the press/awards her photos have received. They are stunning images that capture both the beauty and spirit of the subject. We both felt confident that she would be able to provide us with beautiful images, but what we appreciated even more was her receptiveness to our input along the way. She was there to provide direction when we needed it, but also allowed an organic process that captured some great candid moments. The end product was amazing, but it also “felt like us.”
  
  Kelly is prepared. There are so many things going on when you are planning a wedding (or any important event) that it is easy to overlook the preparation needed to get the photos you might want. Kelly coached us through identifying the core shots that we would want to have, and somehow managed to wrangle our wedding party to make sure that we got these, but in a way that felt supportive not rushed.
  
  Kelly understands the importance of what she is doing. I don’t think I’m alone in feeling a little bit scared handing over the future memories of such a meaningful event. Throughout the entire process with Kelly, I just felt that she “got it.” Her focus seemed to be on making sure we were happy and that we got the best product possible.
  
  We HIGHLY recommend Kelly for any photography needs you might have. Using Kelly really made the difference for us in getting to preserve and re-live our most precious memories of the day.

  Kelly Wood really is an amazing photographer! She not only shot my wedding in Cabo San Lucas, she also shot our engagement photos, and we absolutely loved them all. She has a great eye and is professional yet really comfortable to work with. She is the best and anyone would be lucky to have her as their photographer!

  From day one Kelly was wonderful! She did both our engagement and wedding photographs and they turned out amazing! One thing I appreciated most about her is how flexible she was with my husband and me. I was a little indecisive about where I wanted to do pictures so she met me beforehand so we could look at the location together. She also has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! She was always prompt, responsive, and professional. Oh and did I mention she takes tons of pictures :)

  Kelly Wood is an amazing easy going photographer. I couldn't be happier with the results of both my engagement photos and wedding photos. She was so nice to work with I would book her for any future events also. If u want a great experience book Kelly Wood. I've been in several weddings and by far she is the best photographer I've dealt with!!!!

  After many weeks of searching through photographers blogs and portfolios, I had narrowed my search down to 3 amazing photographers to shoot at my wedding. Having a great photographer was one of my top priorities so I put a lot of time into researching and reviewing. I made an appointment to meet with Kelly first, and after meeting her there was no need to meet any of the others. She is so friendly and easy to talk to and she is confident in her work! We felt so comfortable with her.
  We did an engagement shoot with her which was awesome, and we just got our wedding pictures back. I truly relived my wedding while looking through the photos and I have had a permanent smile on my face.
  Kelly is bubbly and just a super fun person. She has great ideas for different shots and she is not afraid to take charge to get the good shots (in a very professional way). I couldnt imagine having a photographer who wouldnt make recommendations for great shots. I mean the majority of us dont know how to pose ourselves and not look ridiculous! Kelly also went above and beyond by showing up at least a half hour early to get the shots of putting the dress on, and stayed at least a half hour late to get the last dance and farewell. Thank you Kelly!
  Look no further if you are looking for a creative, spontaneous photographer to capture your moments. I will cherish our pictures for a lifetime!

  Kelly was friendly and did an amazing job with our family. She can take a background that looked ordinary and create a photo that looks amazing. She loves what she does and it shows.

  I really cannot say anything bad about Kelly Wood. From our engagement photos, to our family and getting ready shots, she really captured all of our memories. Also, when our second photographer couldn't make the reception, Kelly stepped up to the plate and ran around double time to make sure we didn't miss a moment. The wedding wouldn't be the same without her work.

  Kelly was everything we could have asked for in a photographer. She met with us early on to get a vision of not only what we envisioned for our wedding but also the style of photography and composition that most appealed to us. She was flexible with packages and made sure the things that we valued the most were what she focused on. The photographs are beautiful, timeless, and it is so hard to decide which ones to get printed because we only have so much wall space! Couldn't recommend her more highly. Her "second" photographer was also very professional and had many excellent pictures.
