Amazing photographer
You guys, you cannot find a better photographer than Kelly. She is so incredibly talented, my pictures from my wedding are STUNNING! She used film, which is so unique and made the shots look even more special. She is so easy to work with, no awkwardness at all. You do not want to skimp on pictures, it's the only thing that you'll have after that day. We got married 8 months ago, and I look at my pics by Kelly every day. She did my engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and my wedding day. Everything turned out so well. You could not choose a better person to capture your big day!You guys, you cannot find a better photographer than Kelly. She is so incredibly talented, my pictures from my wedding are STUNNING! She used film, which is so unique and made the shots look even more special. She is so easy to work with, no awkwardness at all. You do not want to skimp on pictures, it's the only thing that you'll have after that day. We got married 8 months ago, and I look at my pics by Kelly every day. Kelly is hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Yes, she's expensive, but worth every single penny! Her quality of work outweighs others who are less $$ by a landslide. I am so glad then i trusted my gut and splurged on her. Photography and videography are really the only things you have left after your big day, why try to skimp on it? Kelly did my bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, and of course our entire wedding, along with her husband as a second shooter. She was never intrusive during the day, but still managed to capture all the key moments. I love every one of our pictures, and i know 100% it's all because of Kelly. We cannot wait to receive our photo albums and look back at this amazing day for years to come!Kelly is hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Kelly is a blessing! She is not only an amazing photographer but she truly becomes a friend throughout the process. Photography was one of the most important aspects of the wedding to me because that is what you end up with for a lifetime. Her photography skills are impeccable. The amazing shots she takes are beyond words. She is very personable, is easy to get a hold of and you receive a cd from every one of your shoots. This is very important because many photographers do not have this luxury. Kelly is definitely not the least expensive out there but she offers a great deal and every penny was 100% worth it. No need to research anymore just book with KELLY! Joe, her husband is an amazing second/assistant shooter as well.Kelly is a blessing! She is not only an amazing photographer but she truly becomes a friend throughout the process. Kelly and her assistant Claire were absolutely amazing! I am so pleased with my bridal portraits and engagement photos. My wedding photos aren't ready yet, but I know they will be wonderful! They are so easy to work with and get a long with. They have awesome ideas and are amazing people! I will definitely use them again when I need professional photos taken for other events! We had a destination wedding and we used the photographer in Mexico, but ever since I heard of Kelly Hornberger I KNEW I wanted to have her do my bridal portraits. Her work is phenomenal and she is such a brilliant photographer. I would recommend her for any wedding, bridal portraits, family and or new born photography. She's a great lady! When I first met with her, I just had a good feeling! She makes you feel comfortable and has such a positive energy, which is really important for any wedding! Absolutely AMAZING Team!! Kelly and Claire shot our wedding and I can not wait to see the pictures! MY husband and I aren't really photogenic people but Kelly made our pictures AMAZING!!! She is SO creative and has a wonderful gift. She took our engagement pictures and bridals and our wedding and all are unbelievable pictures. One of the things I love most about Kelly: I feel like so many photographers have their set style regardless of the subject. Kelly, however, gets to know the couple, family, baby and caters her skill and style to reflect the subject and their personality. I love that!
Kelly is fun, creative and excited with you! She is responsive to emails and calls and always professional, yet fun! She is also flexible! Rain was in the forecast for the day we had our engagement shoot scheduled. So she gave us two options: use rain boots and umbrellas and do a fun shoot in the rain or reschedule for the next morning! Kelly also makes it very easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera and gives great direction.
And to top it all off, Kelly has a God-given talent that is incredible. All of the pictures we've seen have been stunning and so unique to my husband and me! I even had one of the waitresses at the restaurant where we had the rehearsal dinner stop me and ask who was my photographer! She is SO gifted in photography, knows exactly what backgrounds and shots would be perfect and truly has a natural eye for photos. She works with lighting so well. Our sunset pics are unbelievable and even the night photos are perfect with the lighting she hauls along with her. We hired her for the bridal portrait and LOVED the pics so she did our engagement photos, wedding day photos and my family has hired her to do multiple events since then. We really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to meet any time and take as much time as we needed (actually much more than we initially planned for!!). Kelly is fantastic. I normally dread getting pictures taken, but she made it easy. She's very natural, very encouraging, and has an eye for what looks great. Her photography skills are exceptional. She has a genuinely warm personality and is unbelievably flexible with her schedule. She took both my wife's and my engagement and wedding pictures--- they were the best pictures that I've ever had taken. I wouldn't go to anyone else. We will definitely use her again.
If there's one problem with Kelly, it's that she is too good at what she does. Do yourself a favor and get Kelly to take your pictures. The staff are super sweet and go out of your way to make you feel special all the way up to your wedding day! You get quantity over quality.
I got married over a year ago and I disliked my photos. However, I thought with time I would like them more, but that is not the case. I am not usually a person that writes reviews, but since I can't even look at my photos, I don't want any future brides to feel the way that I do.Overall, this photographer is overbooked and it shows in her work. I recommend choosing another if you want someone that will care as much about your wedding as you do, and will do only one event per weekend to provide quality work. To this day, I only have printed photos that were taken by friends and family.
The following are some of the reasons why I disliked my photos:

2. she told us to "be ourselves" and the photos, and the photos which I liked (7 photos out of ~800) were posed, all others looked random and either my husband or I did not look good in the photos

4. When I asked for editing, she only sent me the ones that were edited for her blog.
5.Photos of the reception were taken from the back, so there is a beautiful dip from our first dance and all we see is the back.
6. Her and her husband were constantly sitting during the reception and only took photos of the dance floor ( no other photos of guests or photo booth)

I got married over a year ago and I disliked my photos. However, I thought with time I would like them more, but that is not the case. I am not usually a person that writes reviews, but since I can't even look at my photos, I don't want any future brides to feel the way that I do.Overall, this photographer is overbooked and it shows in her work. I recommend choosing another if you want someone that will care as much about your wedding as you do, and will do only one event per weekend to provide quality work. To this day, I only have printed photos that were taken by friends and family.
