  Perfect memories of our perfect day!

  Katie was absolutely phenomenal to work with! We hired her to take our engagement photos a year prior to our wedding and they were also spectacular. I planned my Sarasota, FL wedding all the way from New Mexico and Katie was extremely prompt with email responses, too!
  
  The photos from our wedding day are everything I imaged they would be and more. Katie came with lots of ideas based off of my photo preferences to have beautiful veil shots and took the photos of my dreams! She captured every moment of our wedding flawlessly and we were so comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera. We chose not to have a videographer because we knew that Katie's photos would provide the same effect of being in the moment. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone planning a wedding in the Sarasota area!!!

  We're from Iowa, I hired Katie Beyer to take out Longboat Key, FL beach pictures.......they're amazing! Katie did a great job! She was on time, very helpful! I definitely would hire Katie again if needed! Love, Love our pictures!

Even the posed photos, which I'm usually not a fan of are artistic. We are obsessed with our photos and so is everyone else. INCREDIBLE. She was so reasonably priced too...   Katie captured our wedding perfectly! Such a creative, professional and artistic photographer! Everything ran smoothly, she was even on board to do a silly T-Rex shot! I highly recommend using Katie for any and all events, portraits, family photos and the like!

  Katie was so much fun to work with at our wedding. She made us feel comfortable and is a very genuine person. She truly loves her job and it shows. We had a backyard wedding and she treated it just as she would a large venue. She always communicated well with us leading up to the wedding, as well as during our shoot. We will definitely be hiring her again to capture our special moments in the future. She is the best photographer around and her prices were reasonable! :)

  Katie did a fantastic job photographing our wedding last year! She was extremely accommodating, professional and flexible with our requests. The majority of our guests were out of towners, and we didn't want to disappear for half of the evening taking pictures. She did a great job getting great shots in a short amount of time so that we could relax and celebrate. The thing that probably impressed me most was her ability to get great photographs without being too obvious or in the middle of everything. I had one friend tell me afterwards that she couldn't believe all of the beautiful ceremony photos because she hadn't even noticed a photographer there! I really appreciated that. I've recommended Katie to friends and will continue to.

  We were leaning towards forgoing photos completely for our small beachside ceremony. My (now) husband convinced me that we'd regret not having something to look back on in our old age, so we set out to find a photographer who could fit our small-scale needs.
  
  As we live out of state, I coordinated our small wedding shoot with Katie via email and phone contact, and it could not have been smoother. She was very accommodating of our desire to keep things low-key and casual...plus, we knew absolutely that we did not want photos that were cookie-cutter, stiff and traditional, and Katie's approach was a perfect fit.
  
  The images Katie delivered (promptly) after our ceremony are pitch-perfect. She captured the tone of our gathering and somehow managed to deliver photos that are universally flattering and technically beautiful (though it probably didn't hurt that we had a spectacular sunset as a backdrop!). She is truly skilled, and that is evident in her work.

  Katie's sparkling personality puts you at ease. She always knew how to position you to look your best. She made sure she was there at every spontaneous momemt to capture all the big and little things you want to have to always treasure. She made my wedding experience so wonderful that I hope to have her on my future life events: belly pictures when expecting, baby pictures, family portraits.

  Growing up around fashion, design and art I have always appreciated artistic and unique photography. Naturally when it came time to plan our wedding choosing our photographer was one of my most important tasks. After doing tons of research I came across Katie's photos and KNEW she was the one I wanted to work with. Over and over her photos showed her individuality, sense of style and special ability to truly capture her subjects. When I talked to Katie for the first time I told her what I was looking for in our engagement session. She not only listened to me but she helped me bring my vision to life. During our session she made us feel relaxed and comfortable so we could have fun and enjoy. The photos reflected that! They were exactly what we were looking for. We had that very same experience for our wedding day. Katie was patient, efficient and fun! She worked so well with our 2nd photographer, videographer, huge bridal party and our families. The day I opened our wedding photo albums I was stunned! She exceeded my wildest dreams. Everyone who has seen our photos is amazed by their uniqueness and beauty. Katie is incredible and is one of the best decisions I made for our wedding!

  I am from Nebraska, and my husband and I got married in Florida. We found Katie through her website. We had a small intimate ceremony on Lido Beach, and she was able to fit us in.   My husband and I used Katie for both our engagement pictures and our wedding. We met in Bradenton Beach to do our engagement pictures in Aug of 2009 and LOVED working with Katie. She was bubbly, fun and comforting for both my husband and myself who were not so comfortable behind the camera. She made our session so much fun! 2 weeks after the session we had received our proofs and they were fantastic! People even commented that the sunset beach pictures were so unbelievable that if my pants were soaked from the ocean they would have thought that the background was fake. Taking one glance through our engagement pictures there was no question that we had to book Katie for our Key Largo wedding. She was remarkably accommodating with traveling 5 hours each way to our wedding. Our wedding was 3 months ago and I just now was able to get around to narrowing down the proofs for our wedding album--there were so many fantastic pictures, it was hard to narrow down just 70. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone, her photography is phenomenal.

  My husband and i chose Katie for our destination wedding in June 2010, she is wonderful to work with and made planning from Ohio to Florida so easy! There was no doubt she would be great! We had the pleasure of first meeting Katie when we did our engagement photos a year before our wedding. She made getting photographed so fun and comfortable that I just knew she was the perfect fit for us! Then when I received our photos I was so beyond pleased. Katie is so very talented I knew choosing her to capture the most important day of our lives was a must! I was so right, looking at our photos hanging up and in frames in our new home almost a year later ( hard to believe it's been a year) I couldn't be more pleased. Every photo takes me back to June 12, 2010 and makes me smile and want to do it all over again. I highly recommend Katie to anyone, she is just as sweet as she is talented! We received our images exactly three weeks to the date of our wedding ceremony just as Katie promised.
  
  Katie is the wedding photographer I always dreamed would someday capture my memories. She is prompt, courteous, professional, and above all, a pleasure to work with. Katie is also true artist with an eye for capturing the special and unique moments of a lifetime.

  Katie is the most talented, professional, fun and creative photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My husband and I were fortunate enough to work with her during our engagement and wedding in 2009. Her style is so unique and she always seems to capture the most perfect moments. I also did a boudoir photo session with her for my husband's birthday recently. I was a little nervous, but Katie made it fun! The photos turned out beautiful and classy. Without a doubt, my family will use Katie for all of our future special moments!

  Katie is the most talented, professional, fun and creative photographer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My husband and I were fortunate enough to work with her during our engagement and wedding in 2009. Her style is so unique and she always seems to capture the most perfect moments. I also did a boudoir photo session with her for my husband's birthday recently. I was a little nervous, but Katie made it fun! The photos turned out beautiful and classy. Without a doubt, my family will use Katie for all of our future special moments!

  We worked with Katie over the phone since we had a destination wedding and she made everything go smoothly! She was great to work with and her work is amazing!! We could not have asked for better wedding photos. We also got them very quickly after the wedding.

  For me the photographer was one of the most important things next to food and drink at the wedding. Katie was referred by another photography (who was booked) that was on the list provided by the resort where I got married. I called several other photographers based on reviews from weddingwire. I selected Katie because I liked her artistic photo's compared to very traditional wedding photo's and because when we talked on the phone she was easy to talk with, very nice, and didn't treat it as a business transaction. We simply connected!
  
  The price was within my range and she was willing to give me rights to the photo's so I could get copies and do what I wanted with them. Not all photographers will do that. I wanted to meet with her before the wedding so we could discuss the shots I wanted and just to simply meet her. Unfortunately, she had numerous personal conflicts so we weren't able to meet in person before the wedding. We discussed the shots I wanted over the phone and gave me a schedule for the day.
  
  The day of the event, she was very professional, easy to get along with, and had specific ideas of the shots she wanted (based on our conversation). In the end, I got the DVD of the pictures within 2-3 weeks (very quick) and the photo's were great.
  
  My only advice for future brides is to communicate with their family members, bridal party about specifically looking at the photographer. I didn't think to tell them to look at the photographer when we were walking the down the aisle, etc. Something I thought everyone would know but many of the photo's I can't really use because people were looking at their feet or somewhere else. The pictures would have been good if people were looking at Katie.
  
  I do recommend Katie and she is great to work with and I thought her price was reasonable for the 4 hours I hired her for.

  Always very attentive and professional and patient. Very kind and easy to work with and always has a smile. Takes alot of great pictures and at the same time doesnt take forever to get the job done. She definitely knows what she's doing. She's done 3 weddings for our family and very consistent and captures great moments.
