Kate was fabulous. She was on top of everything. She even went and scoped out where we were planning on taking photos the day of to check the lighting, etc. and make sure it was still a go. She went above and beyond. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I booked Kate as my photographer because I did not want ordinary wedding photos. Instead I was looking for the most creative form of photography I could find. I am in the bridal business and having worked with Kate several times in the past for both wedding and editorial experiences I knew she was the one who could nail what I was looking for. Our original wedding date, August 27th, was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene, so we had to have an impromptu wedding at our rehearsal dinner at Mr. C's Bistro in Allenhurst the night before, on the 26th, with just hours to spare after we received the bad news. I called Kate frantically while crying and told her what was going on to see if she could make it and she said "Don't worry, I will be there" and came immediately. At this time Kate's home and business were being evacuated, and she dropped everything to be there to capture our special day. Kate is an amazing photographer and addresses every personal need a bride could ask for. She's extremly caring and talented, and her pictures demonstrate that. She went above and beyond our expectations and did more than what any other photographer probably would have done. We are forever grateful for Kate turning our chaotic day into a wonderful memory.

Kate is AMAZING! I couldn't say enough nice things about her. I really had no idea what I was doing, when I was looking for a wedding photographer, and I saw her work on the knot. I instantly knew, we had to have her photograph our wedding, and I was actually nervous that over a year out she might already be booked, because that's how great her stuff is. Lucky for us, she wasn't booked! Her work is outstanding, and her positive attitude is contagious. Every bride who sees my wedding photos, asks for her name, so they can check her availability. We definitely plan on using Kate for all of our future life events: pregnancies, babies, etc.

As you can imagine, the importance of a photographer cannot be relayed in words. We found Kate's photography on this website. After we met, we were conviced that she was the right photographer for us. She was very honest and forthcoming about her style, which you can easily see is purely amazing. Our engagement session was so much fun!!! Kate was very flexible with our busy schedule and unpredictible weather. She went above and beyond to ensure that each shot was perfect. On the day of the wedding, she and Nina were there to capture each moment. Not to mention that the film team for our video did not miss a beat, as well. Before I finalized my reception hall, I booked Kate Connolly. There is no one else I would completely trust with my wedding photos than her. She shot my brother in law's wedding and my jaw dropped when I saw how beautiful and original their photos were. I knew that my wedding photos would be incredible. Kate is creative, artistic, dependable and AMAZING at what she does. She isn't afraid to lay on the ground and roll around in the grass to get the perfect shot. If their is one memory that lasts, it is photos so don't skimp in this area! Everyone that sees my photos says that they should be in a bridal magazine... I'm not surprised Kate gets published in multiple magazines and on well known blogs.. her photos are extraordinary!

Kate is awesome! My husband and I just got married at Windows on the Water this past June and recently received a preview of our wedding day pictures...they are even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Our family and friends can't stop talking about them and keep saying they look like they are out of a magazine...Kate in general is so fun and really listens to the kind of pictures you want taken...She made my day so much easier by helping to coordinate everything time-wise also. She is so creative and in our opinion the best photographer around!

Kate did an amazing job for our engagement and wedding photos. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and really heard what we wanted. Not to mention the team she has is almost as amazing as she is. Everyone I dealt with was kind and understanding. Kate manages to be professional but somehow feels more like a friend than a vendor. She truly went above and beyond to make our day special. You can see she cares about what she does and wants every image to be perfect all the while capturing amazing candid photos. My husband smashed cake in my face and after snapping a few cute pictures there was Kate with a wet tag helping me clean up. That's just one example of the things she does to keep her client happy.
