The Best Wedding Photographer!

We are SO grateful we chose JPG Photography, and specifically, Chloe Geiger, for our engagement shoot/wedding day! Our photos turned out AMAZING. Right from the start, Chloe went above and beyond, striving to make our dreams come true, even through the elements! We wanted to pose where we got engaged, even though the path was muddy that day; after that, Chloe was game to keep going to another spot we had in mind, though our slated time was running out. For our wedding day, we had our hearts set on a first look on the beach, and Chloe was on board with whipping out the umbrellas and just going with it, even though it was rainy. And those of course were some of the most memorable moments of the day, not to mention most stunning pictures! We got a sampling of photos back soon after our wedding, which rocked because I could post them on social media right away. Now we have the whole album, and looking through it brings me so much joy, reliving the best day!!!

Simply the Best

There is not really enough I can say about the talented staff of JPG. Joe and Rebecca did an AMAZING job shooting our wedding. From making us feel comfortable during the getting ready time, to capturing moments during the ceremony that blew us away. It rained during our portrait session, which was a little disappointing until I saw the photos that made the rain turn into absolute magic. Photos from your wedding are really a one shot situation, so if you truly want the best, most amazing photos from your special day, hire JPG Photo and Video!

simply amazing

I can't say enough good things about our experience with JPG photography, and Adam Nettleton, our photographer. We chose Adam based on his portfolio from among a selection of artists, all of whom had beautiful work. Adam called and introduced himself, discussed our goals and vision. He did our engagement shoot and our wedding photographs. They were so beautiful, so artful and full of the poignance of both days, I almost cried when I saw them. Logistically, the company was wonderful to work with. They were professional, timely, and responsive. I hate getting photographed, and even for me, it was fun. I couldn't imagine having had a better experience.

Highest recommendation for Chloe Geiger!

I am extremely grateful that I chose Chloe Geiger and JPG Photo to capture my wedding day. Cindi Landmesser, the Studio Manager at JPG, is extremely responsive and organized, which immediately made me feel like we were in good hands for our wedding photos. Cindi provided us with the portfolios of several phenomenal photographers to chose from for our wedding photos. We ended up selecting Chloe Geiger, based on her dramatic, romantic, and genuine photography style. From our initial hour-long phone call, it was obvious to me how passionate, detail-oriented, and talented Chloe is as a photographer. She took the time to get to know me and my now husband, so she could capture our personalities on our wedding day. Chloe clearly communicated with us and promptly answered all questions we had throughout the process of wedding planning. My husband and I were impressed by how little guidance we needed to provide Chloe before we felt extremely confident in her ability to capture our celebration. Without even needing to provide Chloe with a “shot list” of the pictures we wanted, the photos she took absolutely exceeded all our expectations. Chloe was also totally on board for my idea of doing a bridal boudoir photoshoot instead of the traditional getting ready pictures. Throughout our wedding day, Chloe was a relaxed presence. She coordinated with our DJ to ensure that our day-of timeline was executed perfectly and so she didn’t miss a photo opportunity. She provided us with a preview of our wedding photos just 5 days after our event. Chloe is a true talent, and we will cherish the beautiful memories she captured from our wedding day forever. I can’t recommend Chloe and JPG Photo highly enough!

All around great company!

I am truly blown away by this company and cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. We initially signed a contract with JPG in 2019 for a 2020 wedding and it was cancelled because of Covid. Aside from Covid, 2021 took us down a sideways path making it very difficult to reschedule and Joe and Cindi accommodated us in every way that they possibly could while waiting for us to give the green light!
We had the pleasure of Joe and Adam joining us for our wedding and they made our day perfect! The two year wait was worth it and you were both truly exceptional. Joe came to our rehearsal dinner the night before to meet my husband and I before the wedding and upon meeting him I knew that we picked the right photographer. He was on top of it all. I am totally awkward with posing and my husband just is not a picture guy and Joe captured some of the most beautiful photos that night. Joe was also my wedding buddy for the day and Adam was with the groomsmen to start. Joe showed up with a special goody bag and 2 sneak peak photos that he captured the night before. Joe and Adam, my friends, you are both saints with more patience than I will ever have. There are so many personalities that they encounter and they adapted to each and everyone so naturally, professionally and for those of us who love the banter, they brought their sense of humor. We were running behind on our way out, but it didn't compromise their professionalism and ability to remain collected, while still moving along the bridal party and families when it was stressful. On top of it all, they are down to earth, hilarious and absolutely a crowd favorite. Our guests pulled us aside to tell us how great our photographers are. The one thing that I loved the most about both Adam and Joe is that they checked in to make sure that we were both happy and to make sure that they were capturing the moments most important to us. Since I was with Joe all day, I will close my long winded review on this- While Joe works his magic behind the scenes, I really would have lost my composure without him being by my side at times. I truly can't say enough about how incredible things about his talent and his ability to connect with the entire room. Thank you for everything!

Amazing Videographers!

We booked JPG Photo & Video to videograph our wedding after we watched a wedding video they did for people we had never met, and it moved us more than we’d like to admit. It was hands down the best wedding video we had seen. That is, until we saw the one JPG made for us. They captured the most perfect moments to create a truly stunning highlight, and it is above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. We’re biased, of course, but it seems like JPG consistently tops their own best work. We had the absolute pleasure of having Naomi as our primary videographer. She blew us away with her work, creativity, and kind spirit. If nothing else, JPG’s professionalism and pleasantness are enough reasons to work with them. Especially for an event where those things matter most. Needless to say, we would choose JPG over and over again.

Jpg is the best out there!

Joe and the entire JPG team exceeded our expectations in every way. Our original wedding date was in March 2020 and when we realized we had to make a last minute change and get married at our rehearsal dinner, Joe helped us make sure every special moment was captured and made us feel confident in our decision. Our pictures and video turned out better than we ever could have imagined and truly captured the magical time. Joe and his team are extremely talented at capturing the raw emotion and making memories come to life. We received our preview photos quickly and we were even featured in philly mag to share our unique story thanks to Joe! When it came to planning our rescheduled reception and celebration, JPG was willing to work with us on a new venue, date, timeline etc. The JPG team went above and beyond and it feels like they are part of our family! We can’t wait to use them for future occasions.

Best team ever!

I cannot say enough good things about Joe and his team! Right off the bat, Joe and I clicked right away during our first phone call. He totally understood my vision of what I wanted and executed it more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Besides our wedding, Joe did two other shoots for me. My boudoir and a cute Photoshoot with myself and my best friend. During the boudoir shoot, I was SO comfortable and not nervous at all. The photos came out so beautiful and exactly how I had envisioned them. On the day of our wedding (and even for weeks after), we kept getting compliments about how dedicated this team is and how “on top of it” they were. They got photos that I didn’t even know were being taken, and I’m so glad they were. They were so fun to work with and made everyone feel great! We will be looking at these photos and videos for the rest of our lives and I’m so glad JPG was the team to do them.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with our experience with JPG! From the first point of contact to recently getting our photos back, it was seamless and easy all the way through! We chose Justin as our main photographer and he was incredible. We don't really like getting our picture taken and he made it so much fun, and in turn was able to capture who we are as a couple. We didn't have any specific shots we wanted, but we trusted Justin to know what where photos would look best, etc. He and the entire day of team really added to our day and it wouldn't have been the same without them! Our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL and we couldn't be happier. The staff at JPG is amazing and so helpful and any time we decide to have professional photos done in the future, we will be calling them!

Amazing experience

Unparalleled!

My husband and I are so thankful we picked JPG for our engagement and wedding photography and videography. Joe and his team were incredible to work with. There are three main things that really stood out to us. First, us and our bridal party had so much fun with them over the course of our wedding weekend. We were laughing constantly with them- they made it easy to keep smiling through the endless photos! Secondly, we loved our venue but the surrounding area did not give them too much to work with photo-wise. The team's creativity really came through though, you would have never guessed some of our photos had I-95 in the background! Lastly, we ran into an issue with our late-night food vendor during the reception, and Joe's team came to the rescue to make sure the food arrived for us. Not their job, but they bent over backwards to make sure there was no stress for us. We are so lucky to have a team that went above and beyond! Thank you JPG!

Captured our day perfectly!

JPG Photo & Video did the videography at our wedding and it turned out perfectly! They came highly recommended from friends and I have since passed on the sincerest recommendations to other brides. Their team worked in the shadows of the day capturing everything but not disrupting the flow or duplicating poses/ time we were already spending with our photographer which is exactly what we wanted. The highlight video and full feature ceremony and reception films turned out great and captured all the details of the day that we forgot. I highly recommend using JPG!

Wedding photography at the Sofitel

My husband and I strongly recommend JPG photography for any special occasion. We also think that they offer a competitive price. What makes JPG a better option is that their journalistic style of photography resulted in such great and fun photos. We worked with Chloe on our wedding day at the Sofitel and she is such an amazing, talented, creative and kind photographer to work with. She perfectly understood what we had in mind and took photos that have great color, vibrance and mood. We had more than 200 photos and it was very difficult for us to choose which photos to print because they were all perfect. All our family and friends loved the photos so much that now my mother thinks that we should have JPG again in future whenever we celebrate an important occasion. To be honest, I will be certainly reaching out to Chloe again and would love to have her talent turn every moment into long-lasting, glorious photos.

Stunning, creative photos paired with warmth

Have Joe and Becca there for our wedding day was like having another friend come along on our crazy, wonderful journey.

They truly captured the essence of who we are as a couple and as a family, from beginning to end. We knew the place we chose (mountain top) was beautiful on its own, but they managed to find even better spots and more incredible shots than we could have even imagined. What looked like an ordinary golf course and bench, for example, turned into this gorgeous fall foliage field. They experimented with drones, giving us these unreal artistic shots, but the heart of who they are was taking photos of our special moments -- tears, laughter, love, dancing and all. And they froze their butts off with us to get it done in unseasonably cold weather!

Plus, damn, they are well-oiled machines, with such organization and precision to make sure we got all the photos we wanted without having to spend a lot of time away from the celebration.

We could not recommend JPG Photo & Video enough. So many people have already commented that these are hands-down the most beautiful wedding photos they've ever seen. Kind, personable, organized, professional, creative and artistic.

Highly Recommend!

Working in the industry, I have seen the magic that JPG creates in their videos. Their video quality is unbelievable. Their ability to edit and enhance videos is outstanding. Since I work in the marketing department at Springfield Country Club, I was not only planning the videographers for my wedding, but also planning video marketing promotional pieces as well for the country club. After getting off the phone with Joe, we were ecstatic about all the ideas we had for both videos. My contacts for the day were Laura and Gustavo. I had originally met Laura before when she had videoed my cousin’s wedding and even then I thought she was amazing at her job as well as an amazing person. Both Laura and Gustavo were absolutely phenomenal. They were down to earth and fun yet professional at the same time. During our call, they took the time to understand and make note of what we wanted to capture on our wedding day. It was a long day with a strict timeline but they made everything flow smoothly and comfortably for all of us. They did an incredible job of capturing formal shots, candid shots, dancing shots, venue shots, etc., all while being “invisible”. When we saw the highlight video, it was like we were reliving our wedding day all over again. They really captured us as a couple, which may or may not have sparked some happy tears. We cannot thank JPG enough for capturing our wedding day absolutely perfectly. We highly recommend them.

To everyone from JPG who was apart of the process, Jeff and I are extremely grateful and appreciative for all of the hard work, time and effort that was put into making our wedding day unforgettable. Our hearts are so full every time we watch the video. You all are amazing!

Everyone from the photographers to the staff at JPG was great to work with. All of our questions were answered quickly and efficiently. Justin and his assistant (Pat I think? Amazing the things you forget on your wedding day) were great to work with. Justin worked around the fact that we aren't the "posing" type people. He was in and out of the crowd all night just snapping away. Our engagement pictures were awesome and our sneak peek of the big day is AMAZING. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

I have experienced Joe G as a wedding photographer THREE times in the past 8 years: my BFF's wedding, my cousin's wedding, and my own! I never knew who I was going to marry but I always knew that Joe would be my wedding photographer! Joe's pictures were the best that I've seen since 2010. His photos are of the highest quality, stunning, FULL OF EMOTION, and heartwarming! The candid photos are breathtaking! We have gotten so so so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. We could not be any happier with the pics and with Joe and Brandon! I often go back to look over all the pictures to relive our wedding day lol! They did a fantastic job...We love how many candid pics they took of our guests as well! Joe and Brandon have so much personality and were so fun to work with. I can be super awkward being in front of the camera and posing but Joe and Brandon made it so easy and comfortable for us. They were also so flexible and cool about taking so many unplanned portrait photos with my huge family. We really appreciated that! We had a relatively short and small wedding ceremony in a public park, and got really lucky with the weather on an otherwise rainy Labor Day weekend. JPG Photography was one of only a few companies willing to provide a photographer on an hourly basis on a holiday weekend (booked 4-5 months in advance). Right from the start they provided a full contract and an invoice that clearly stated their costs and expectations, so we had no trouble preparing ourselves, and JPG, for our event. Whenever we had questions they responded in a timely manner.
A few days prior to our event the photographer, Adam, coordinated some final details with us and he was very nice and knowledgeable. On the day of the event Adam showed up early, was well prepared, and immediately built a rapport with all of our family members and guests. He was excellent throughout the entire time he was with us, especially given how quickly everything moved along. We can't thank Adam enough for being a fantastic photographer and for his professionalism and friendliness the entire time!
We chose JPG primarily because of the quality of their work from their online portfolio, and they definitely delivered for us! Our edited photos were beautiful just as we'd hoped and we bought a handful of prints. We definitely highly recommend JPG for any event.

Having JPG Photography document our wedding day was easily one of the best decisions we made! My husband and I cannot stop talking about how amazing the workmanship is and the experience we had working with the JPG team. Joe, Tom, and Meg made us so comfortable on the wedding day and were also extremely fun to be with! The service provided and quality of their work is absolutely amazing!! Joe gave us a little preview of our photos and we were absolutely stunned at how gorgeous the shots are! Words can't describe how AMAZED we were with our wedding highlight video from JPG! Laura and Naomi truly captured the love that we felt throughout the whole day and were able to put it into a 5 minute highlight film! We also really enjoyed how they reached out to us about what we would like to see in our highlight film, which I thought was so important. My husband and I watch the video EVERY day because we just can't get over how it truly captured our magical day! We can't say enough about how happy we are with our JPG videos! (Shoutout again to Laura and Naomi!)

Joe and his team really exceeded our expectations when it came to the quality of our pictures! They were able to coordinate great shots of me, my husband, our bridal party and families but what truly blew us away was their ability to capture action shots that made you feel as if you were reliving the moment. There is no other photographer that I have come across that is able to do this as well as Joe does! He also surprised us by having a handful of photos ready for us to view on social media the day after our wedding which was awesome! I can't say enough about the quality of Joe's work and am so excited to see more when our full photos come out.

I did a lot of research ahead of choosing a photographer + videographer. The quality & emotion portrayed in JPG’s photos are what initially caught my attention, but once I got on the phone with Joe, I 100% knew I wanted to work with them. Also, I could not find another photographer who’s video quality was as high as JPG’s and knew I only wanted to work with one vendor because it was easier ( …The photo + video combo was also actually cheaper than getting separate photographer and videographer).
Looking back, I initially thought the final photos and video were all that mattered from a photographer/videographer, but Joe + his team were so so incredible the day of the wedding. They really took the reins and orchestrated the logistics of the day (i.e. if it rains, here’s plan A and B, etc.) – totally flexible and open to any decision my husband and I wanted (i.e. ending photos early and going to the cocktail hour). Joe truly because a friend during the process – even my other vendors (hair + makeup + reception coordinator) and friends/family were so impressed with him and his team.
We were truly overwhelmed with the final photo and video products once we received them – just stunning. JPG really added to our wedding experience being such great partners. They didn’t just show up – they took time to understand what meant most to us and what we really cared about capturing.
I’ll never forget - Joe handing me a mint right before I walked down the aisle. That’s what you’re getting with JPG (…not to mention the beautiful photos and videos you’ll have to for a lifetime). Truly priceless. Couldn’t recommend more.
P.S. He and an assistant traveled all the way up to NYC to take our engagement photos, just a month after he and his wife had their first baby!

Having seen how Joe G and his team captured our Molly and Andrew in their engagement shoot, we’re very sure that the images and video of the wedding are going to be special; so this review is not about the work product, it's about the people who did the work.There are so many small, sometimes intimate things that happen during the course of a celebration that one remembers long after. When some involve the photographers, and we had that, you know you’re working with a special group. On what was an incredible celebration of family and friends, Joseph and his team added to the night. Let’s face it, getting the pre-ceremony pictures done and done on time can be stressful. Racing to a 6:30 ceremony start with a number of family shots could have been rough, especially with folks on edge to begin with. Joseph and his team got us through all of that with a little prodding, a little humor and a touch that understood all that we were feeling before the wedding. All of us, JPG included, were all smiles when we just had the ceremony and party in front of us. I know Joe and his team were all over the ceremony and the party but only because I saw a few pictures afterwards. At the time, they were so unobtrusive as to seem invisible. We were left to be in the moment of both. These folks know what they’re doing, how to get it all done well and they had a relationship with our bride and groom that had them very comfortable. The previews shared have just been wonderful. While we can't wait to relive the night through their pictures and video, it was a pleasure to have them with us during such a special night.

Can I tell you something crazy? Video was our last priority. Literally. I'm SO thankful we ended up not only having a video made, but having JPG (Joe) as our videographer. We only chose to get a videographer because we had just enough wiggle room in the budget after everything else was done. As soon as the day was done, I knew I had made the right decision in choosing to have a videographer, and couldn't believe I had ever considered not having one. The day FLEW by. Everyone warns you that will happen, but I don't think you really GET it until it happens. Having a wonderful video to look back on and bring the day back to life is completely invaluable! If there is one piece of advice I can tell brides who are planning their wedding: don't skimp on media - your photos and video are all that you have when the day is done!!! Make them your top priority! On top of that, Joe was just awesome to have around all day. Upbeat, calming, helpful, organized, everything you'll want and need on the big day. :)

Our experience with JPG photography has been excellent right from the first conversation with the owner Joe. Joe then matched us up with one of the photographers on his team, Ricky. Since then, everything has been pleasant. They are personable, accommodating, prompt and professional.

Ricky documented our wedding ceremony in May of 2017 here in Brooklyn, NY. He really brought of a lot of excitement and positive energy. His spirit made us want to take some outdoor pictures despite all the rain and wind. Ricky was forthcoming regarding his limitations of shooting in the rain, but we were up to trying and we were very glad that we did. He made the entire experience a lot of fun and the pictures we got back truly documented the experience and the essence our personalities. We are very excited and looking forward to working with JPG Photography on some more upcoming events as well.

My husband and I got married on May 26, 2017. We talked to about 4 or 5 other photographers and by far JPG was the most accommodating, best price, and included SO much in their package. Our main photographer was Dave Christenson, who was amazing! On our big day he was able to send my husband and I a few previews of our photos, it was so great! We did the videography and photography package and we got the biggest bang for our buck. Everyone was so friendly and their process is very professional, easy, and affordable. We highly recommend!

Joe, words cannot begin to express how absolutely wonderful you and your team were to work with. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about JPG Photography. Joe and his team are truly the best! The beautiful photos on their website are what initially intrigued us to JPG.

Joe and Nicole made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and we were truly blown away with how amazing the pictures turned out. We received many compliments on the photos and JPG. We were even more excited we chose Joe and his team to be part of our wedding day after our experience during our engagement shoot.

A wedding day can be quite stressful, but Joe was very attentive to us and made sure we were relaxed and enjoying the moment. Joe is so creative and goes above and beyond to capture the perfect shot. We are lucky to have had him capture our day and provide us with photos that will serve as memories for a lifetime.

Stacey is a ROCKSTAR! My entire family cannot say enough good things about her. I will refer her to ANY and EVERYONE looking for a photographer for any milestone. Choosing JPG was the best decision we could have ever made with regards to our wedding. They are worth EVERY cent.

If you are looking for photos that look like they are straight from a magazine, I'd recommend JPG and specifically Stacey. She captured our day EXACTLY as we hoped with punctual, thoughtful VIP treatment. Stacey made us feel completely comfortable and natural - it's not always easy for me to just start kissing on command personally. : ) She is absolutely adorable and has the sweetest, fun personality. She is a true artist and a master of her work.

Did I mention that she traveled with us to ITALY? Yeah!!! When we mentioned we were traveling Tuscany for our wedding to JPG during our consultation for our reception, they offered to come and document the day!!! YES PLEASE. Stacey hopped on a plane with her awesome and talented husband, Chuck, and the rest is history! Beyond being ridiculously talented, Stacey and Chuck are amazing people to be around. They are like part of the family whether they like it or not! Haha.

JPG IS THE WAY TO GO! We could not have been happier with our photos. First, our engagement photos were the best we've ever seen (very unbiased!) We rented bikes and biked around the city and Joe was so creative with the pictures, but also made it really fun for us. We were smiling the whole day. He also took some great natural/candid pictures that were our favorites. Now to the wedding day. We were laughing and having fun with Joe the whole day. We got married on a hot May day, but Joe was so positive and fun the whole time - he took all of the pictures we asked him to take and then incorporated a lot of his own ideas, and the day flew by. He managed our large wedding party really well so we were never stressed. At the ceremony and reception he got great pictures but was never in the way or intrusive. The pictures themselves were perfect. They captured the fun of the wedding really well, were very natural, and brought out everyone's most beautiful sides. THANKS JOE!

We are obsessed with our photos. Seriously. They are beyond stunning and we are thrilled. All we've done since last night is look at the photos. Easily the best decision and money spent of the wedding. The whole JPG team and experience through the whole engagement, boudoir, and wedding photography far exceeded our expectations. We used JPG Photography for two wedding events. Our first event was a city hall wedding. Joe was our Photographer and Ricky assisted him on the coldest days of the winter... They did a great job and got the photos we wanted. We then booked Ricky for our church wedding in June. We are very pleased with the work that JPG does. Great Photography is something to budget for and there services were worth every penny. The photos are vibrant and have life to them.

Joe G and Ricky shot our Union Trust wedding in Old City, Philadelphia. I don't even know where to begin. We were set on having a photojournalist for our engagement and wedding photos. The instant we saw JPG's photos, we knew they were it. Hiring them was the absolute best decision we made in planning our May wedding.

We talked to Joe G more than any other wedding vendor throughout the process. Joe has this ability to make you feel comfortable about everything. He's so relaxed, easy-going, and incredibly thoughtful. As the bride, I can honestly say that my entire day wouldn't have been the same without Joe G there.

I will openly and honestly admit that I remember absolutely nothing from my wedding. The day goes by SO FAST, you're bound to forget some stuff. And this is why I am SOOO happy I chose JPG Photography. They captured everything. All the small details, the little conversations, the dancing and fun. I pretty much cried at my desk because of how happy I was when we got our wedding photos (which was only maybe 5-6 weeks after the wedding). The whole team is beyond a doubt some of the best people you can ever meet. Joe and Rebecca's hearts are filled with love. They love capturing the beautiful parts of the day and the best....HAVING FUN WHILE DOING IT. I'm not sure I could've gotten through my wedding day without having Joe, Rebecca, and JPG Photography there. You'll be hugging them all night and asking them to go to dinner by the end of it. We relive our wedding day each and every time we look at the photos. Each photo captured a special moment in our day. From start to finish. The story each photo tells is really mind blowing. Joe and Rebecca are two unbelievable artists that are also two of the most amazing humans I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Amazing experience!

Joe G and Ricky shot our city hall wedding and brief photo shoot afterwards. They were personable and lots of fun to work with. JPG Photography turned around the pictures incredibly fast (less than 2 weeks), and the quality of their work is simply superb. Joe was able to capture the range of emotions that we were going through during the event and he created beautiful, artful, and unique images that I know we will continue to revisit in many years to come.

I wholeheartedly recommend booking JPG Photography and Joe G for your special day!

Joe, the owner of JPG, was my initial contact person and was very prompt to respond to emails even though he was on location. I walked into our very short-notice-scheduled elopement with the utmost confidence that his team would be awesome and they were!

Stacey and Gustavo (GREAT team!) from JPG captured our day. They were very professional, on time, creative, made us feel completely comfortable, and truly captured the feeling of the day.

My only complaints is a minor one: we thought the pictures would have more editing done in the final pics that were added to our library but it does not appear that is the case. Overall the pics are amazing though and everyone that has seen them loves them.

The overall exeperience with JPG was an amazing one.

I was lucky enough to attend a family wedding that used JPG Photography. Their images were AMAZING and the details that were captured made you relive every moment! I knew immediately who I was calling when I got engaged. The time that goes into preparing each detail for your day is so special and important to making the event your own. Then the day comes and it flies by so fast. Even if you try to be mindful of each feeling and absorb as much as you can, it’s impossible to remember it all. But having JPG Photography document your event means you can relive each kiss, each guest, each song…it is that moment in time that you can have forever. Looking at the photos gives you all of those feelings back. It also gives you the chance to see the wedding from the eyes of each guest. There is nothing more precious than that. Photography was the most important part of the wedding for my husband who is a photographer himself. He was blown away by the JPG's services! These photographers take time to get to know who you are as a couple in order to best capture your day and represent who you are. Most of the day you don't even know they're there! Phenomenal team! Do not hesitate! Book now! Trust me, you'll want this team documenting your big day. No one will remember how many tiers your cake was or how many roses you used in your centerpiece but EVERYONE will want to see your photos. If you want unique and awesome, JPG Photography is the way to go! When we were searching for our wedding photographer, we didn’t want anything ordinary. We searched unique wedding photography and up popped a picture of a bride and groom running down Broad Street during the naked bike race. We were sold! I thought to myself anyone who has an eye for something so crazy and out of the ordinary is totally for us!! The last thing we wanted was boring engagement & wedding photos! Luckily for us this is the last thing that JPG wants too. From moment we met with Joe, we were very comfortable and confident in JPG's work. We wanted our photographs to actually tell the story of our wedding not just preserve a moment. We couldn't be happier with the results. Joe was our photographer and he was truly amazing! He was pretty much one of my best friends that day and helped keep me, well us, calm and collected all while taking amazing pictures. We didn’t even see any of the JPG staff at my ceremony or my reception. Which was great because they were there getting the best shots of every moment without being intrusive. From the moment JPG Photography owners Joe and Rebecca arrived at our weekend-long, summer camp, wedding festival, they felt like old friends. After having driven through the night to make it our event, many hours away from the wedding they shot the night before, JPG arrived just as excited as our guests, sharing in the awe and magic of it all as the day unfolded.

It was a LONG, fast-paced day. And even though my husband and I missed out on a lot of the guest activities as we were getting ready for our big moment, JPG captured it all. Not an hour went by when they weren't popping in to show us INCREDIBLE shots of laughing families, our North Vs South water balloon fight...just everything.

Later in the day when I was sequestered with my bridesmaids for hair and makeup, Joe kept grabbing snacks and drinks for team bride, gave me lots of bear hugs, and even a shoulder to cry when I was completely overwhelmed with emotion. At the same time, Rebecca was simultaneously shooting and jogging after a pick up truck bed full of groomsmen being driven down the winding, dirt road that led to the ceremony sight.

After the ceremony, they only had a small window to capture the traditional wedding photos that most people think of when hiring a photographer. They whisked my husband and I away in their own car to the middle of rolling field surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. The shots still take my breath away. During the reception, they had just as much fun as any of guests, but with their cameras in tow, perfectly capturing how each moment felt, the real personalities of our guests and the emotion of it all.

We needed pros like JPG for more than just their artistry. They literally coached us when my husband I were completely clueless: cutting the cake, bouquet toss, not smearing your makeup when you're crying at the alter, etc.

In the end, JPG Photography did more than shoot our wedding day. They became a cherished part of it that we'll surely never forget.

Where to even begin!? I booked JPG for my December 2014 wedding, and my husband and I were so thrilled with them from start to finish. Joe was a wonderful resource to us as we selected a package that was appropriate for us, and he was so upfront and open regarding JPG's wedding packages and pricing. As a budget conscious bride, this was incredibly helpful and much appreciated! In addition to Joe's assistance, the rest of the behind-the-scenes staff were also extremely helpful and provided excellent communication with us in the year leading up to our wedding. You can tell that JPG has a fabulous team overall, at all levels, and they truly think of everything!

Our package did include an engagement session, and we felt that this was a wonderful opportunity to meet our photographer Matt. We were excited all along to work with JPG, and this session just further validated our reasons for booking them- the pictures were outstanding! Even though I knew JPG was capable of incredible work, I don't think anything truly prepared me for just how amazing our photographer, Matt, and his second shooter, Nick, would be. Their talent and attention to detail was so evident throughout our entire wedding day. They handled our rather large and rambunctious group so well and they made sure to account for all of our requested group shots, as well as shots of all the important details and moments of the day. Although we received many wonderful, "staged" shots/formal photos (which is a given at any wedding, and we absolutely loved ours!), JPG's true talent lies in capturing the real, candid moments of the day, the photos that instantly take you back to all of the wonderful people and memories that will make up your wedding. They didn't miss a thing!

Overall, I would recommend JPG to anyone. The services that they provide are worth every penny, and we would book them again without hesitation. They truly were a pleasure to work with, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Poor Joe had his work cut out for him with us for clients. I rarely like pictures of myself and Ed absolutely hates his picture taken. But Joe and Nick were so wonderful---absolute professionals and just all-around great guys. Totally put us at ease. I'm happy to report--we just got our pictures and they are AH-MAZING!!! My husband and I each had a non-negotiable for the wedding. Choosing the right photographer, and letting me do the analysis, etc. was my non-negotiable. We are both SO VERY GLAD that we chose JPG Photography! From our time during our engagement shoot and the gorgeous and fun pictures we received to the INCREDIBLE time we had at our wedding with Joe, Tom, and Laura - everything was more than I had expected. On the day of the wedding, Joe and his team arrived early and put this stressed out bride at total ease - making me laugh, reminding me to drink water (with thanks to the straw and other gifts they gave me!), and have a great time!
Joe was also on-hand to help fluff my dress to get me some air on our 80 degree day in late September :-) At the reception, the team set up a laptop showing us a sneak peek of some of the GORGEOUS photos from the day!
When we received our video montage (that Laura made) I was at work and nearly leaped out of my seat out of pure joy. It perfectly captures the feelings and amazement of the day! Additionally, the photos we have are amazing - the colors, light, shading - all STUNNING!
I am SO SO SO GLAD we made the decision to use JPG for our wedding and engagement photos, and I am SURE that we will use them in the future for whatever life brings us :-) This team has become a part of our family and we are so glad to have had them be a part of our very special day.

I am so glad I chose JPG to be my wedding photographer and videographer! Joe and his team were very friendly and easy to work with. They helped me deal with my venue's strange photography/videography rules and were essential in having the day go off without a hitch. JPG is absolutely amazing. I recommend them 100%.

At the initial meeting, Joe enthusiastically showed us his previous work and it spoke for itself. We hired him immediately and I'm so glad that we did. My husband and I had to have our engagement shoot the week of the wedding, which was a bit hectic but Joe and Danette made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The pictures came out beautifully and our session really set the tone for how relaxed and enjoyable the wedding day would be.

Joe and Danette arrived at our hotel while we were getting ready and took some amazing "getting ready" shots. The entire time, they were goofing around with us and making sure that we were happy with everything. From there, we took some pre-ceremony shots at an off-site location then went to the ceremony. They made sure to get my husband and I, our families, friends and other guests in the pictures, which was great.

They captured every moment of the entire night and it was so nice to relive it all once the photos came back.

We also hired a photographer for the photo booth, which I also 100% recommend. Our guests LOVED it and had so much fun.

Long story short- hire them. They're friendly, fun, creative and so talented. They will make sure that you remember all of the special moments from your wedding day.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing day, afternoon, night we had. Our day could have been better or gone more smoothly without JPG being a part of it. I expected Joe to take great pictures, but what I didn't expect is how he went above and beyond to take care of me (the bride) throughout the night. My sister said it best on the day of the wedding - he's the worlds best bridesmaid! From the survival kit he handed me when he walked in the door, to the card he gave both of us to write on our wedding day for our first anniversary to continually checking in with me throughout the night, with sincerity, to make sure I was okay... It was incredible. It was apparent that that the team at JPG was dedicated to getting the best shot possible by the lengths that they went - be it laying in the snow or pushing their way through a crowded Reading Terminal to make sure everything was perfect for us.

Thank you so much JPG for everything. We cannot WAIT to see the pictures.

As a side note - when Joe insists on doing an engagement shoot prior to your wedding - do it. He was absolutely right. It helped us to be comfortable with Joe, to be comfortable in front of the camera - a fantastic idea all around. Plus, we have amazing pictures of us not in our wedding attire! We are so happy to have those pictures as well.

JPG Photography is the best wedding photographer you could dream of. Joe Gidjunis and his team are amazing—artistic, professional, easy to work with, and just genuinely kind people. We feel lucky to have found them, and to have been able to work with Joe. The JPG team is always up for an adventure, and was as excited as us to try unorthodox locations for photos. We whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a photographer for any occasion.
Having a good photographer for our wedding was one of the most important things to my husband and I during wedding planning. JPG Photography hit each of the “big three” on our list: first, they took pictures of brides and grooms looking natural and acting like themselves—not looking like awkward statues. Second, their portfolios showed pictures not just of brides and grooms, but of friends and family having fun at weddings. This was SUPER important to my husband and I—sure, we wanted some pictures of us looking great, but what we really wanted to remember is everyone celebrating with us. Third, JPG does a great job in low-light venues-- something we were concerned about since our wedding was indoors and at night.
The day of our wedding, Joe was such a reassuring presence. He and the crew knew exactly what needed to happen when, and kept us on track. He seemed as excited as us for our first look and for our walk down the aisle. During the ceremony and reception, it felt like Joe, Gustavo, and Tom were everywhere and nowhere at once. They were never in the way, but they always got amazing, amazing shots. Our friends and family members kept exclaiming about what great photographers we had.
When we received our pictures we were not disappointed—the pictures were AMAZING. I really can’t say enough. Joe, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for being our photographer!!

I don't have enough good things to say about JPG. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, our experience with JPG has been phenomenal! Adam, Gus and Stacey (who shot our wedding) were amazing to work with; by the time the night was over I felt as if they truly became our friends! The photos we got to sneak peak while they were shooting were stunning. JPG was extremely professional throughout the entire process. I spoke with Adam several times before our wedding so when the day came I was confident that Adam was going to get the shots we wanted! I can not wait to see the beautiful photos that I know were taken of our amazing day. (AND if you can get the photo-booth, do it! The pictures my guests got were amazing quality and they had so much fun taking silly photos all night!)

Joe and his team of photographers are fantastic! This is the second time we had the pleasure of working closely with Joe and his staff. My matron of honor is the one who found JPG and, after experiencing photojournalism at its best, we knew we would be using JPG for our wedding, as well. Joe is a fantastic photographer. He really understands how to capture the moment and the emotions that go with it. Of course there are the formal pictures that everyone has to pose for, but he recommended no more than 15 formal shots because anymore and people start to get angry at the camera. His advice is solid and his recommendations for picture sites are not to be questioned. He had us walking some rocky ground, but it was well worth it for the shots that he was able capture. During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, you'll be hard pressed to find Joe or his staff stalking you with a camera. It's as if him and his staff just magically disappear into the crowd while taking amazing pictures. The JPG staff are well trained to avoid the spotlight. Like I stated previously, they capture the moment and work with their environment. From the start, JPG was very easy to work with. The staff members are all wonderful people who are very easy going and make you feel comfortable as if you're just hanging out, business aside. Joe and Dave worked with us throughout the whole process. They did our engagement shoot, which was awesome, and they documented the entire wedding day. Dave went with the guys and Joe with the ladies. Joe greeted me with a huge hug and an emergency bag for the day with a straw, tissues, candy, and booze: perfect! We definitely wanted to have a photo booth for the reception and, luckily for us, JPG was able to offer one. It's not the typical photo booth that spits out a strip: you get a 4X6 quality print! JPG is not your typical photographer team. They are all that and more! If you want quality work and new friends, use JPG! Love them!

Hiring Joe and his crew was hands down the best decision we made during wedding planning. While I knew joe from college, when we started planning for our wedding I immediately started scouring photographer sites. I had initially thought pictures were an area where I could save some money, then I saw an absolutely amazing wedding portrait at a friends home. She told me that the day was awesome but such a blur, the best decision she made was the photographer to capture the memories.

After that, I renewed my search, but didn't have to go far. The amazing pics in my Facebook feed from joe and his team were what I was looking for. The planning couldn't have been easier. The answer was always yes, or yes with a suggestion to make things better. They are truly experts at the whole wedding planning thing.

We did a destination package so they shot some pics at our rehearsal dinner the night before and put the unfinished shots up during the reception. Between the place card pic of my hubby and I and those shots, our entire family was hooked - we knew then the shots we were going to get would be amazing, and they were. The fact that you buy the license to print your own pics seems daunting at first, but it actually saves money in the long run because you can use your copy of the pics to print them how and when you want. And getting them all on a drive after makes it so easy.

The final thing to let everyone know how awesome they are is that Joe and Becca are truly fun to be around all day. While I already knew Joe and so had some comfort level with him being around, my husband didn't know Becca and said she was such fun with the groomsmen. All my family and wedding party had a lot of fun with them and Joe was so good at protecting me and my time. He can (and will!) be the guy who tells everyone, including your mom, to leave you alone and let you have a moment to sip champagne when necessary!

I was first interested in JPG Photography because their pictures were just different than any other wedding pictures I've ever seen. They were intriguing and entertaining - but yet romantic. They make you feel as though you are there experiencing the wedding first hand. I had the great pleasure of working with Matt Bender for JPG - and he was great. I always say - let the photographer do what they are good at - and its make your pictures come out they best they can be... and I really think Matt did that. Matt is great at giving direction when needed but lets you just be you and lets your day unfold. We got to work with Matt before the wedding in an engagement shoot; JPG strongly suggests doing this so that you are comfortable working with the photographer the day of you wedding. I think regardless Matt was a great fit, the engagement pictures turned out wonderfully and I am so excited to see how it all turned out. If you want to get the best documentation out of your day - instead of all the "posed" shots - this is the vendor for you. When you are getting married you are getting pulled in a hundred different directions and will most likely miss what is going on elsewhere - with Photojournalism - it is all captured for your to relive! So happy with our choice to have Matt and the JPG team document our wedding.

My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing photos that JPG took for our wedding day! We were lucky enough to have Joe and Eric as our main photographers and they truly wowed us! Joe and Eric were so good at getting to know us and making the entire experience comfortable, starting with the engagement shoot. At first my husband and I did not see the value in the engagement session and were going to just skip that part, but we are so glad that Joe encouraged us to go ahead with it. We love the pictures! It was also a great opportunity for Joe and Eric to see who we are and be more prepared for the wedding day, because my family is silly and ridiculous! I cannot describe how thrilled I am with JPG and their photos of our wedding! Matt and Danette were absolutely fantastic and didn't miss a second of the action. There are not enough words to describe the talent, professionalism, and character of JPG Photography. When searching for a photographer, we instantly fell in love with the uniqueness and creativity of their photographs. After our first meeting, we also fell in love with Joe and Rebecca. We were planning a destination wedding and knew we would be spending many days with our photographer. It was important that their personalities fit with ours and our guests and that they would take great photos while letting us enjoy our time with others and take in the moments of our special events. Joe and Rebecca beyond exceeded our expectations. By the end, they felt more like friends and family rather than a vendor we hired for our wedding. They captured our true spirit in their photos and made us feel comfortable being the center of attention. They were down to earth, outgoing, and fun to be around all while focusing on their job of taking the best artistic photos possible of our special day. We knew JPG was a little out of our price range, but looking back, it was well-worth the expense for the pleasurable experience and the finished product. So many of our guests requested their info for future weddings and those already married made comments to us about how they wished they had a photographer like Joe. We opted for the associate-premium package (Matt and Grace). No words can properly express how thrilled we are with the end product and, of course, the level of service provided from planning stages to even our wedding day.

They did their homework with taking the time to learn about our preferences to properly tailor the photos. As an awkward couple being in photos, our photographers made each moment captured look absolutely stunning (including us!) from the silly times to the formal times.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about JPG!

First off, when we first met them, I was only back in PA for a brief time that weekend and they worked with us and met with us at 10PM on Friday evening, just so we would have a chance to meet with them! I worked specifically with Adam, Danette, and Ashley and they were all great to work with. Michael and I had such a awesome time during our engagement shoot with them, and helped erase any nerves about shooting during the wedding day. Our wedding day was perfect and I was so glad to have them as my photographers!

Joe and his team are not just photographers but they are also day planners. The week of the wedding, they spent time with us on the phone to understand the timeline of our wedding day. During that day, they were instrumental in guiding us through the day and making sure we stayed on track and did not miss one minute of our cocktail hour, which was a really important part of the day for us so we could visit with our guests.

We loved JPG Photography so much that we also booked them for a Trash the Dress shoot (which every bride should do). They helped us bring our crazy ideas to life and we now have keepsakes from our wedding that are a real wow factor to guests when they come in to our home.

All of our friends are envious of our photos and STILL talk about how great our photographers were one year after our wedding. We've recommended them to everyone and hope to use Joe and his team again in the future for all major life events we want to have captured.

JPG was AMAZING! We had Ashley and Tracey photograph our wedding in Cape May 2 weeks ago. I really feel like they enhanced our day... we felt like we had old friends photographing us! AMAZING!!!! ORIGINAL!!!! From the moment you meet and talk with them you feel right at home! They make sure to get to know each couples story and they TRULY encapsulate tgat in thier work! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Joe on our wedding day. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. It was the first wedding in my family, so needless to say, we didn't know what we were doing! Joe not only photographed us, he offered guidance, wisdom, and support throughout the day. He was such a blessing!

Now, onto the photos themselves! They are SPECTACULAR! If you are looking for some great photojournalism, you can do no better than JPG! He is incredibly talented--just check out his body of work and enjoy!

We planned our wedding on a very tight budget, and we paid for it ourselves. We weren't sure which vendors were important to spend money on. But one evening we saw JPG's website (after looking through tons of photographers' websites), and we immediately got lost in the stories they told. That’s when we knew we needed JPG for our wedding. We knew that if we spent the money on a quality photographer, it would last us a lifetime. And, man, were we right! I've already forgotten most of the choices we made about flowers, food, etc.. But the photos are what we keep reliving. In terms of the people at JPG, you can't find a nicer, more hard-working group. From the first moment we spoke to Joe G on the phone, to the moment we laid eyes on our breathtaking photos after the wedding, working with JPG was an absolute delight. These folks are super-organized and so nice. Moreover, they are honest and straightforward--we received exactly what we agreed to in the contract we signed with them (and then some!). Rebecca was our lead photographer, and we could not have imagined a more angelic addition to our wedding team. She and her associate Dave were a dream. I have never seen a more organized operation. They effortlessly moved around, getting all of the shots we wanted, without interrupting the flow of the day. They also lent an air of warmth, fun, and joy that I really noticed and appreciated. You don’t realize when you’re planning a wedding how much you need that vibe from your wedding team, but you do! It’s clear that they truly, genuinely love what they do. JPG's blog (there's a link to it on their website) is the best evidence of this. They take the time to make each wedding special--read the blog and you’ll see what I mean. Now, on to the finished product: I mean, really, you need look no further than their website to understand awesomeness of their product. But I will just say that we were blown away by both the quality and the quantity of our photos. JPG is different because they are photojournalists, meaning that every photo is a work of art, and more importantly, it tells a story. The photos capture emotions, they capture the little moments that are the essence of a wedding (moments that you easily forget in the rush of the wedding day), and they uncannily capture the personalities of you and your loved ones. Instead of posing us in uncomfortable shots with fake smiles, they simply turned us loose to enjoy our wedding and then blended into the woodwork. But every so often, when something great was happening, I thought, "I hope they are getting this," and then out of the corner of my eye I would see Rebecca or Dave, lying on the floor, contorting their bodies in order to get the coolest angle, the one that would photographically tell that story in the perfect way. I doubt you will find many wedding photographers (if any) who would go to such lengths for their clients. Your photos will be unlike any others you’ve ever seen. It’ll be like you’ve received the proofs for an upcoming magazine spread. There isn't a single bad, or ordinary, picture in the nearly 700 photos we received. In summary, photography is not an area of your wedding where you want to cut corners. I am hoping that many people will read my review, which comes straight from my heart, and that you will instantly understand what we understood that night when we first discovered JPG: they are just a wonderful choice, wonderful people, and a wonderful asset for your wedding.

Write down the three words that you hope to describe your Wedding Photographer. Excellent? Fun? Role models? Great eye? Engaging?
I’ve been to a lot of weddings – and have seen plenty of wedding photos. NOBODY’s photos are better than JPG’s. If you want a photojournalist who is going to capture the beautiful moments that make your wedding weekend / day / few hours …. Do whatever it takes to get these photographers.

My husband and I were specifically looking for wedding photojournalists who could capture the fun and candid moments that a bride and groom don't always get to see. And JPG totally nailed it! We are so excited by our pictures, and we loved our photographers Tracie and Matt, who put us at ease. We have had nothing but compliments about the pictures. At the risk of sounding selfish, they were the best wedding photos I've ever seen! They were worth every penny, and that's saying a lot when photography costs as much as it does. It's probably one of the best investments we made in our wedding!

Ashley, Corinne and the rest of the JPG Photography team were nothing short of professional, creative and fun! From our initial meeting to our engagement shoot and our wedding day to contact before and after the big day, JPG continued to prove that we had made the right decision in regards to our photographer. Ashley and Corinne made us feel extremely comfortable and open with them, which resulting in pictures that absolutely stun and amazing our friends and family. I hope we can find a reason to use JPG again as soon as possible and plan to recommend them to everyone I know who might be looking for a photographer.

They are the absolute best. Beyond creative and personal with every shot they take. They capture our spirit and personalities with class. They are great when working with large families that have lots of opinions. They are patient, kind and so much fun. We love them, our guests loved them and we would recommend them in a minute.

Adam and Tracy did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding day....not only did they take some amazing pictures, they also were great at connecting with me and the guests. I was extremely overwhelmed at the reception, and Adam picked up that and helped me feel more comfortable. Joe, the company owner, was above and beyond in service and guiding me through the entire process. Five Stars all around!!!

Joe G. and the entire JPG team has been unbelievably wonderful to work with since the very first phone call we had with them. Not only are they professional, responsive, well-informed, well-staffed, well-priced and an absolute PLEASURE to work with, but Joe has the most remarkable eye for images that I have ever seen. He is RELENTLESSLY creative and original, and will do anything/go anywhere for a great shot (his photojourno roots coming out).

He is also just a great guy!!!! My husband and my family all fell in love with him -- he was such an outstanding presence to have at the wedding (although completely unobtrustive) and really seemed to love the work he was doing. That was what sold us the most on him from the start -- this is not just a job for him, clearly. He really takes the time to get to know you and make sure that you are a good fit for his style of photography.

EVERYONE has complimented us on our engagement photos, and although we haven't gotten our wedding photos and albums yet, I have no doubt they will be outstanding.

Don't hire Joe G. if you want tons of typical, posed wedding pictures, or cliche images that could look like any other wedding, with the faces changed. Joe and Co. will capture your unique event and family for what they really are!! He will do more than document your wedding -- he will preserve the emotion of the day, and capture the spirits of your loved ones honestly.

For God's sake, hire this man now, and thank me later.

Jpg was the best decision I made while planning my wedding. Joe and his staff were fabulous. The photos are fantastic. They really capture the honesty and genuine emotions of the day.

Joe and his team, Sarah and Corinne, were, simply put, awesome!! They were very professional as well as fun. The engagement and wedding photos were amazing and we had a blast working with them. Having the engagement session definitely helped calm our worries about being photographed all day. They made us feel at ease and were even able to get the groom to smile! Although they like to limit the number of formal portraits they take (so that they can take more “in the moment” shots), they accommodated the bride and her MASSIVE family because it was important to her. Joe was very willing to work up a special package for us since we had a 2-day affair in different locations. They were also vital to our coordination efforts before the wedding and on the day of. We highly recommend Joe and his team and are so happy we chose JPG Photography!

Joe was fantastic from the first phone call! He listened to us and learned what we like. The engagement shoot was a blast and then the wedding day was easy! He told us exactly what he needed from us and was very responsive to our requests. He walked us through the day the week before and the pictures were quite enjoyable on our wedding day. And of course, the photos are fantastic!!! Incredible photographer! Definitely worth the money. All our guests were very impressed as well at the slide show he had up at the reception before the end of the evening. Truly a very gifted and talented photographer and the perfect vendor to work with!

If I could give JPG a 6 stars out of 5 I would. What can I say, the were amazing! Their professionalism and attention to detail were superb. Joe is a true artist! We couldn't be happier with our photos!
