Mother of the Bride

Josh and his team did an excellent job with photography and videography for my daughter's wedding on 9/14/19.

He and his team came to our hotel and took pics and video of bride and groom prepping for the wedding. Those pictures actually are most precious to me. He caught the excitement and beauty of the day.

The pictures and video of the ceremony and reception are equally amazing. And his team did their job in an unobtrusive way. Guests remarked that they didn't even know they were there.

Highly recommend Josh and his team. Thank you Josh for capturing such beautiful and memorable moments.😍

Exceptional from beginning to end.

Josh and his crew were amazing from first contact until the end of the day. He was very responsive to E-mails and even had ideas that we didn’t think of or forgot about. Once the day came his crew and himself made the whole day very relaxing and stress free and I feel that is reflected in the pictures as everyone had a good time even when taking formal pictures.

Stunning work with lots of laughs

I will first say that our pictures and videos are so perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm not sure how certain pictures could have even been captured, but Josh and his team were able to give us photos I wouldn't have thought possible. We decided to stay at the venue for formals and Josh was able to map out the most beautiful places. The team met up with both the bride and groom for pre ceremony photos at our hotel and then met us at the venue for our first look. We weren't entirely sure where we wanted the first look but, again, he flawlessly chose the most perfect spot. Amazing pictures would be enough for me to recommend working with Josh, however, the atmosphere they bring is on another level. Our photos were fun and filled with laughs. It never felt stiff or forced, which, for a couple that doesn't take very many pictures, was a relief.

Outstanding wedding video!

Josh Mariana and his team were absolutely incredible! They did an outstanding job and they were able to captivate all of the important moments on our wedding day. Their editing style created a wonderful video that we consider a wedding video masterpiece! They captured the essence of our wedding day and just like they say, they really know how to "capture the love." They went above and beyond to capture such meaningful moments that we will truly treasure for the rest of our lives! We are truly happy with their services. We have amazing videos that we are happy to see again and again with all of our friends and families. We can’t stop watching our wedding video and have received so many compliments on our wedding video from our family and friends. Working with them was always pleasant and they always got back to us in such a timely manner, oftentimes within minutes! We are pleased to recommend them to anyone. They are really great at what they do and they deserve all of the credit they get!!

Amazing from beginning to end!

We used Mariana Filmworks for our wedding in June. Mariana Filmworks was amazing from beginning to end! They are easy to work with, very responsive and professional. The videographers were excellent and captured the love and beauty of our wedding day! We received our video quickly and love everything about it! We have received sooooo many compliments! Beautiful Pictures

Josh did our engagement shoot and our wedding day photography. We also used his videographer just for our ceremony. The entire team was great and were completely unobtrusive.
Josh made us feel super comfortable from the first meeting. We knew within 5 minutes that we'd be hiring him. Not a single regret, our photos turned out wonderful. The fireworks pictures are especially beautiful. He's super quick too! We received our pictures in 2 weeks.

I honestly can't think of one point of criticism or something that I would change. Josh and his team truly captured the best moments of our day- even in times with difficult lighting, and they also got our photos back to us in record time! We are so thrilled with how they turned out, and would recommend Josh Mariana to anyone looking to truly get the best photography for their big day.

AMAZING! My husband and I cannot thank Josh and his team, Jess, Dan, and Jim, enough for the experience that they provided to us on our wedding day. I was truly impressed with Josh Mariana and his team (Dan, Jess and Jim) as they shot pictures and video at my daughter's wedding on Saturday, 8-18-18. Our house is small; having a bride, parents/family and attendants (and big dresses!) in our home made things a bit tight. Adding 4 more people with cameras and gear - one would think - would have made things totally cramped. But it wasn't. They all just did what they had to do, worked around all of us, and made it very easy for us. Honestly, I hardly knew they were around. Josh and his team all were extremely professional, and made me and everyone else feel very comfortable.
We had such a good time in the bride's room at church. Although we were just introduced to Jess about an hour or two earlier, we all found her to fit in quite nicely; she went with what was happening at the moment -- the excitement, laughter, tears, and fun. I know she got it all!
I have been to wedding services where photographers are all over the place and are quite distracting. It was great not to be distracted at all by Josh or his crew at Mass -- I was able to focus my attention on the wedding ceremony. Once we got to the reception, I lost sight of our photographers altogether (in a good way!). We were so pleased with how things went with Josh and his team. They were all very easy-going, professional, inconspicuous, and great to work with. We can't wait to see his pictures! Would highly recommend Josh Mariana Photography for your wedding or special event -- you won't be disappointed!

Josh did the photography for my July 28th wedding. My photos were up within a matter of days and when I saw them my jaw dropped. They were absolutely amazing! We took staged photos and Josh also took many candid shots. I have never seen such quality of work in both the candid and staged space. His work is impeccable. I’ve gotten so many compliments from family as to the quality of these photos. I chose him based on reviewing the portfolio of work on his site, but you never know if photographers really cherry pick those shots. In his case, I got exactly the high quality photos that I expected. I highly recommend Josh for your photography needs.

Josh and his team are so professional, courteous and their work is excellent quality! Josh provided timely and personal consulting from the very beginning. He was organized and really knew what he was doing. He provided us great ideas and really listened to what we wanted. During the wedding day, Josh brought an extra assistant even though it was not included in our contract. He wanted to make sure that we had the best coverage during the day. And they stayed longer than we originally agreed as well. The videographer was also wonderful! I couldn't be happier with the results. The photos are absolutely gorgeous! Josh and his team were able to help us capture so many wonderful moments of our most important day! Thank you!

Josh was very professional and at the same time very easy to work with. When I wanted to make changes he had no problems and most times had great solutions. I hosted a wedding last year so I knew what I wanted and didn't want. Josh handled all my concerns without any problems. If I ever need professional pics done, Josh would be the first person I would turn to.

I'm really not sure we could ever really articulate the amazing job that Josh and his team did on not only our wedding day photography but our wedding day video as well. They were able to capture our day in a way that transported us right back into those moments. They weren't intrusive. They didn't take away from the ceremony with the shuttering of their cameras. They didn't cut corners. They were there every step of the way, keeping smiles on our faces and making sure that every little detail was captured on film. Josh and his team are so easy to work with. They are prompt with email communication, answer any questions you may have and make sure that every "T" is crossed and every "I" dotted leading up to and on your wedding day. If you are looking for a photographer who can offer the full package, look no further! From our first skype meeting, Josh was extremely professional and easy to get a long with. His company offers photography, videography, and a photobooth which were all must haves for our wedding! It was convenient to have everything through one company!
One of the things I enjoyed the most about Josh was his ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable throughout our engagement shoot and the day of our wedding. Our photos have us laughing instead of forced smiles. You can really tell the difference in the photos. He is prompt with emails and very easy to communicate with. I wouldn't change anything about working with Josh.

Honestly, if you are looking for the best then you can stop looking. Josh and his entire team went above and beyond all of our expectations. He also did all of our videography and we got a photo booth through him. All of it was incredible. I'd go above five stars if I could. If you want your day to be perfect then hire Josh.

I highly recommend Josh Mariana Photography. Josh photographed my daughters engagement and wedding and I can't say enough about how wonderful Josh and his team are to work with. The creativeness they exhibited in how they take their photos are absolutely amazing! From the save the date magnet, the engagement session, the guestbook and the wedding, everything was beautiful. Josh is the greatest! We have had so many bumps in the road to our Wedding but Josh has been there beside us every step of the way! Our scheduled date for our engagement pictures got completely rained out but Josh rearranged his schedule to get the pictures done as soon as possible after the scheduled date. We would recommend him to any one that asks, he does a beautiful job and is very understanding and super easy to work with!

I absolutely, 110% recommend Josh for your big day! From the first e-mail, Josh was responsive, professional, talented, accommodating, fun, calming (he relaxed even a crazy bridezilla like myself), and you could tell he was really excited to be a part of our big day. Our engagement shoot was a great way to get to know Josh better (and vice versa) and he really brought out the best in us - and even let us have our puppy in the pictures :). We also did a "love story" video with his videography team (Mariana Filmworks) which was something so special and different, our friends and family loved seeing us tell the story about how we met and fell in love. We just got our wedding pictures back, and they were just so perfect and beautiful! Our bridal party raved about Josh and how much fun they had during post-ceremony pictures with him and his team. I could go on and on - Josh and his team were the perfect photographers to capture our big day and we cannot thank them enough!

One of my biggest concerns on my wedding day was not knowing if I would have to guide our photographer around and ask them to take certain pictures and capture certain moments. Josh made our day so incredibly easy and carefree. Josh and his team know exactly where to be when special moments occur. Working with their team was like we had been friends for years. Josh and his team take the time to get to know the couple they shoot for, and it makes the day so much more wonderful. Talk about a team that is truly professional and knows what they are doing, but also has an amazing energy and can ease the nerves a big day can bring. From start to finish, Josh and his team were there to make every moment from our engagement to wedding day such fun. It was our best investment by far, and we can't thank Josh and his team enough!!

We first met Josh during my surprise engagement.. Josh covertly captured us taking the incline up to Mt. Washington and then filmed the proposal. The engagement video was just the beginning.
Josh and his team were there every step of the way during our wedding day to photograph and film all the elements of our ceremony and reception. While sharing our photos, my mom remarked that she never even noticed Josh and his crew throughout the day! But they were everywhere and never missed a detail.
Our wedding video was the best part of our package. It so beautifully captured our emotions and told the story of our day.
Josh and his team were a great investment and we sincerely appreciated his patience and dedication to make our day so special. We will forever cherish our wedding moments in our beautiful photos and video.

Photography was exceptionally important to my husband and I. We want these photos in our home and to share with our children someday. We discovered Josh at a bride show that we honestly dreading going to. Everything happens for a reason! In searching for a photographer for our wedding, we essentially met with three options. We knew immediately that we wanted to work with Josh. There is something about his photography style and his personality that made it a very easy decision. Josh and his team could not have provided a better experience.
It was important to me that if I contacted a vendor for our wedding that they were responsive. Josh is quick to respond and is very thorough. If you have one question or fifteen, he will answer them all and leave the window open for you to contact him if you need anything else.
Josh is prompt. On the day of our engagement shoot he arrived early and was ready to go, even after having worked a long morning with toddler photos. Our engagement shoot was fun and flexible. When I shared our photos with our family they had a hard time deciding which photo was their favorite - and they picked many!
Again, on the day of the wedding, Josh and his team arrived early and eager to get started. Through the church ceremony and the reception they blended in. They were not in the way at all and were there if we wanted to grab them for a photo with a specific family member or friend.
We felt comfortable asking Josh many questions outside of photography regarding the wedding and he gave us honest feedback. Josh helped us make other vendor decisions who we were very happy with a well. My thought is that these guys are the experts, they see and attend so many weddings! Use their advice when you feel comfortable doing so.
If their photography is your style they should be your first choice!

He did our engagement photos, our save the dates, our wedding day photos, our wedding video, and our photo booth. We chose to work with Josh mostly because of his professionalism and demeanor. We wanted someone who would be enjoyable and pleasant to work with, had the task covered and we wouldn't have to worry about anything, and bring a sense of calm to an otherwise hectic day. He did all this and more. Not to mention the quality of his photographs, he really captured our day and style wonderfully. He did a beautiful job. Josh also worked with us on our package and other requests. He was very responsive throughout the process and even provided other services like thank you cards and save the dates. Josh did our engagement session, wedding photography and videography. He did an amazing job getting both formal and candid pictures. He got to know us as a couple at our engagement session and fit our style very well by the wedding. Our package came with a photo guest book with pictures from our engagement session, a photo album with our wedding pictures, a wedding high lights video and a $200 print credit. Everything turned out amazing and he even got our wedding pictures and video back to us within 2 weeks of our wedding. He brings a female assistant with him to the wedding so she can take pictures of the bridal party getting ready without making them uncomfortable, he responds to calls and emails within a day, and had overall great customer service. I couldn't of imagined a better photographer to work with and highly recommend Josh to others.

My husband and I used Josh Mariana Photography for our wedding reception in July 2015. Josh went above and beyond, we had a small reception but he did every picture we asked of him and more. When we got our pictures from him we were really impressed, they really are beautiful. I would recommend Josh Mariana to anyone!

Josh and Rebekah are absolutely AMAZING. Not only does it show in the pictures, but it also shows in their personalities. Josh did such an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding pictures. He went above and beyond to make sure all of my crazy ideas were met and his work was truly breathtaking. Josh Mariana Photography will exceed all expectations! We were very nervous and selective about our photographer, since we were having a winter wedding. After our initial consult with Josh, we were confident that he was the one and we couldn't have been more right! Our photos are a perfect display of our entire day! Pictures that we didn't even know were being taken captured the most special moments! Some people wait for months to review their wedding photos from other photographers, but Josh had ours waiting for us when we returned from our honeymoon! I couldn't believe the turn around time and the high quality! Every expectation was blown away once I saw the work of Josh and Rebekah and team... Last, but certainly not least, our cinematic video is the kind of stuff that dreams are made of! I've probably watched it 100 times! My husband and I can not say enough wonderful things about Josh. Photography for our wedding was extremely important for us both so we took extra time and care when choosing our photographer. We could not have made a better choice! Josh was a pleasure to work with and made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed while taking pictures. Josh answered all our questions and emails promptly and took all the stress out of the logistics and preparation aspect of the day. And, as we expected, our pictures turned out absolutly amazing!!!!! We've gotten so many compliments on how beautiful they all are and how they capture the day perfectly. We would book Josh 100x over and would love to have the opportunity to work with him again!

We got married in the Fall season at a beautiful lodge. One of the most important things to me was capturing our day in photographs and the beautiful day we had! We choose Josh Mariana Photography and worked with both Josh and Jessie. They were fantastic! They had creative photo ideas and captured our day beautifully! We are so excited to get our photos and album from our wedding day!

We also used Josh Mariana for our engagement photos. We wanted to include our dogs and we were traveling from out of town. Josh was flexible in scheduling our engagement session and was open to including our dogs in the session, which was important to us!

We were so please with every aspect of working with Josh Mariana photography!

My wife and I were/are very pleased with the work of Josh Mariana and his staff. Our wedding was filled with many details that were very unique to our personalities, and Josh seemed to capture them all. Upon receiving our photos, we were stunned at all of the moments they managed to capture without us ever knowing they were there to see it. They seemed to be everywhere at the right time, but were never pushy or in our faces. On top of that Josh was able to work within our budget, and we feel that among all of the expenses of the wedding this was certainly money well spent. We would feel confident recommending Josh to anyone looking for high quality photography.

Josh did our photos, cinematic video and photo booth and everything turned out exceptional. His professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. Josh was an enormous help to us throughout all phases of our wedding. He coaxed us to "break out of our shells" during our engagement photo session, enabling those rare and always memorable candid shots. Afterwards he gave us recommendations for several other types of vendors, all of which he had personally worked with at other events. Several of them were for services we hadn't even thought of at the time. While we didn't use all the recommendations he gave us, the ones we did use were amazing!

During the wedding, Josh showed poise and professionalism when dealing with the event facilitator at our church who turned out to be a controlling shrew. "Due to strict church protocol..." seemed to be her favorite saying as time and time again she dictated where and when Josh could stand and take pictures. He never let it both him. During the reception he was always out of site but the pictures showed he was everywhere, taking candid shots of both us and our guests that Elaina and I will always cherish.

Our experience with Josh was so favorable that I would (and already have) recommended Josh to friends for their upcoming events.

We hired Josh to be the photographer at our wedding and I am so happy that we did. Being the groom, photography was not the first priority on my list, but I quickly understood the photographer's critical role all the way from wedding planning to the big day. Josh was extremely responsive to us throughout the entire process. When we reached out to Josh via email or phone, he got back to us within the day. Josh was also very flexible with our schedules. When we had to re-schedule our engagement pictures due to weather, Josh was very easy to work with and it was clear he was making us a priority. From the engagement pictures, Josh made our "Save the Date," which we loved. We received so many compliments on the picture (photo magnet) and my friends and family continue to keep it on their fridge. The quality of the engagement pictures was very high and it was exciting to get great pictures right after our engagement. We used them for our wedding website and it made a difference utilizing the quality of Josh's work. During the wedding day, Josh was a calming figure to help lead the process before and after the ceremony. He was very organized and was able to capture the critical key moments. I was impressed with Josh's interaction with the wedding party and I appreciated his diligence in getting us through all the pictures after the ceremony. After the wedding, Josh was very accommodating with our requests and was able to turn around high quality pictures in a timely manner. My Dad bought a picture from the wedding printed by Josh of the family for my Mom's birthday. The quality of the photo was spectacular - it is definitely worth going through Josh for printing as the quality of the photo is unparalleled. We enjoyed working with Josh so much that we asked him to take family photos for my parent's 30th wedding anniversary. We will definitely use Josh in the future for photography and we are so glad we chose him for our wedding.

I feel like I hit the wedding photography jackpot by booking Josh Mariana! When we began the hunt for a photographer, I contacted multiple vendors through their websites and Josh was the first to respond. After our initial meeting with Josh, my husband and I knew that he was going to be our photographer!

He also provided us with recommendations for other vendors and each one was a great addition to our wedding!

As for the photos, they were absolutely stunning! He captured so many great pictures that it seemed hard for us to pick our favorites! I highly recommend Josh. You won't be disappointed!

Josh and Rebekah were amazing! Not only did they take beautiful photos of our wedding, but they were great to work with! Taking so many pictures can be a long and boring process, but they made it fun and very easy for us! Josh was really great to work with. We felt that communication was very good, and despite being located far away from Pittsburgh, he made everything very easy. Our album is absolutely GORGEOUS and everyone comments about how beautiful/high quality it is. We got to view all of our images very quickly after the wedding (about 5 weeks), and the whole process was very timely on his end. As for us, we were a little slow in picking out what we wanted, but Josh was very flexible and willing to work with us! All in all, we have some awesome images that really captures our amazing wedding day, and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

From the initial meeting until the day our son and daughter-in-laws wedding pictures were uploaded, Josh demonstrated the utmost professionalism. He has a unique perspective with capturing the personalities of the bride and groom and the guests during the ceremony and during the reception. As I look at the pictures I try and think "how did he get that shot?" or "I don't remember seeing him during this dance". He captured so many special and innocent glances shared by the newlyweds that I really don't think they were even aware of his presence. I personally was impressed with the inclusion of the architectural details from the wedding site, The Priory on the North Side of Pittsburgh, which is such an important part of Pittsburgh's history and culture. Josh has the ability to show so much emotion with a single photograph. Because it was a winter wedding and we were blessed with over 8 inches of snow, Josh incorporated that natural beauty with outdoor scenes. My absolute favorite was the bride and groom walking down the Pittsburgh city street at dusk with all the city lights aglow. Simply breathtaking. Each and everytime I look at the beautiful wedding pictures either by myself or sharing with a friend, I am brought back to that special day and tears of joy run down my cheek. I know that because of Josh's ability to tell a story through photography that feeling will never be lost. I have had several conversations with Josh since the wedding and I assured him that he will be our family photographer for life. I simply cannot wait until grandchildren, anniversaries and our daughter's wedding in the future.

My husband and I worked with Josh and his wife, Erin, for our engagement shoot. Josh and a guest photographer, Becky, covered our wedding. We had some personal issues come up causing us to postpone our wedding. Josh was very understanding. Although there was an upcharge, it was very nominal. Josh and his crew were very easy to get along with and very easy to work with. They made us feel like we were personal friends, not just clients. And the pictures! Josh is a true visionary when it comes to his photography. The location we chose was not ideal nor the weather, but he was able to work with what he had and his work turned out beautifully. I highly recommend them to anyone in the southwestern PA, eastern OH or northern WV areas. Accommodating, friendly, reasonably priced, talented...in a word, fantastic. If you choose Josh Mariana Photography for your wedding, you won't regret it.

I can’t recommend Josh Mariana enough for anyone looking for a photographer/videographer on the big day. Josh made the planning process so easy and was always available from the moment we met him. Every time I had a question, he would respond to it super quickly and was always helpful. Josh and his friends were super fun to work with the day of. They took the stress and boringness out of taking photos and had all of our bridal party laughing. I absolutely in love with my photos and I can’t stop looking at them. They recreated the day. One of the nicest things about Josh and his team was that when they were taking photos and videos during the ceremony/reception, we didn’t even know they were there! We got tons of compliments on this (along with how beautiful the photos were). You won’t go wrong choosing Josh Mariana!!
