  The only reason I couldn't give a full 5 stars was because the cake was frozen and we were not left with instructions to leave the cake out at all much less a certain amount of time. So we had frozen strawberry cake at our reception. The initial meeting with the front desk girl to discuss cake option was a little frustrating too as they don't actually do cake tasting. Overall I was extremely happy with our wedding cake. It was beautiful and decorated EXACTLY how I wanted it, not to mention was absolutely delicious. I hate fondant and their buttercream is to die for. Their cake decorator needs a raise because piping buttercream is an art. Seriously. Will continue to eat here and devour their pastries.

  French Chef JJ is a true artist-- creative and professional. We wanted an original wedding cake that incorporated mochi (sweet rice cakes traditionally used to celebrate New Year's in Japan) in the design. When we explained this to JJ, he ran with the idea and quickly made a sketch. Chef said he loves to create cakes that are personalized. My fiance was sold in a heart beat! I've never seen anyone so excited about a cake before!
  
  The cake was delicious and we had several comments from our guests about how it was the best cake they've ever tasted! The only drawback was that the counter help/ person who usually answered the phone at the store was not very well informed about our order or what was going on. She was difficult to communicate with, but Chef JJ himself was the BEST!!! It was a little pricey ($500 for 4 tiers) but was worth it if you want a once-in-a-lifetime cake!!!
