Jeri and her assistant Elliot captured our wedding BEAUTIFULLY!!! We just got out proofs (which are close to 1500-1800 and we get to keep them all!!) back yesterday and my husband, family, and I couldn't be more thrilled! We can't wait to start building our album!! There are soo many BEAUTIFUL pictures to choose from and she is more than willing to help out in any way.

If i could give Jeri and her crew, Sarah and Elliott 15 stars, i would. 5 full shiny stars for each one. I don't even know where to begin describing how much we LOVED working with the team on our wedding day. Seamless, care free, non-chalant, comical at times.... just a few words to describe how she made me and my husband feel the day of. At certain points throughout the day, we hardly noticed she was there because of her laid back nature, but the much anticipated end result was very clear: Jeri was so present, in all the right moments, capturing the happiness and love being shared by everyone at our wedding. Even photographing nearly half the wedding (my mother's family) was nothing impossible for her and the team. We had requested many "special" pictures to be taken, and she managed to get every single one.
Sarah and Elliott were an incredible addition to Jeri's already very well established talent. the 3 of them were an all-star team. Between the 3 of them, we could have a whole set of encyclopedias of our wedding photographs; they were all so fun, and super easy to work with.
Jeri came highly recommended to us by 2 other couples; my husband was a groomsman in one of the other weddings and when it came time to choose, he said "I want to work with Jeri, she didn't make us do any weird poses, and made us all feel very comfortable and natural". She knows her stuff, she did the same for us the day of, which quickly eased my husbands anxiety about being photographed.
For a NYC/NJ area photographer, her prices are fair. She gives meaning to the word "professional" in her field, and her images deserve to be on the covers of magazines, or hanging in photography museums; she has a very artistic and photojournalistic way of bringing out everything and everyone she and her team capture. Plus, the quantity and above all, QUALITY of the photographs are invaluable.
We feel so fortunate to haved worked with Jeri, Sarah, and Elliott. Our wedding went so fast, we joke that we wish we could get married and have Jeri and her team all over again!! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. We are forever grateful to her and amazed by her talent. Special thanks to Phyllis as well; she helped us stay so organized and was so quick to respond to every email and every single question.

Jeri and Sara told the story of our wedding. We can easily re-live the day, just by thumbing through the photographs. Jeri provides a phenomenal consultation, asking about us as a couple, really getting a feel for our style, and what we liked. Follow up was quick, and Jeri has an assistant available to answer questions when she might be on a shoot. She also provided some great advice on other vendor selections. It is so important to have a vendor that you can trust. My sister-in-law also used Jeri for her wedding, so I can say with conviction, that no two weddings will look alike. On the day of the wedding, both Sara and Jeri were lovely, even at such an early hour. (day weddings mean you get ready really early).
They came in and captured some great moments. They even helped my family get organized and dressed, which came in handy.
The best compliment I can give them is that you never saw them! They took interesting photos, and not just the standard poses you see everywhere. My guests loved looking through the pictures and they kept saying they had no idea that the photographer was watching.
We have enjoyed being showcased on Jeri's blog, and also looking through the web slideshow. We pick up our proofs next week, so this has been the gift that keeps on giving. Fingers crossed, I can make a swift decision on the albums!
I would say that Jeri and Sara are well worth the money. We chose not to have a videographer, and we do not regret that decision, as the day is forever documented with such grace and originality. I will definitely use Jeri and Sara again!

Once we got engaged and sat down to sort out our list of what was important for us a great photographer was at the top of that list. We knew we would have these photos forever and we wanted someone who would be able to capture all the special little moments of our day. Jeri photographed both mine and my sister's wedding all within 3 months of each other and she was completely a pleasure to work with and be around on both occasions. As soon as we got engaged, our mother had heard wonderful reviews about her from other family friends, and she made sure that we booked Jeri before anything else was figured out for the wedding dates! Jeri and her assistant Sarah are so subtle in their approach to photographing the day that you feel completely comfortable to be with your family and friends- yet they do not miss a minute of the events! One of the things I was looking forward to most after the wedding was over was looking at the picture preview that Jeri posts on her blog just a few days after the wedding. What can I say...I had the most amazing photographer EVER!!! Jeri and Sara were absolutely everything I ever imagined. I fell in love with Jeri's work when I came across her website.. if anyone appreciates great work..not average..then they will also see what I am talking about. Jeri and Sara captured EVERYTHING and much more!! I was in my honeymoon when I received the email from Jeri saying she had posted a blog with some of our pictures. My husband and I were in Thailand..in the middle of nowhere, and I literally looked for a place where I could use the internet to view the pictures. I first saw Jeri's work in 2003 after my friend's wedding. I was amazed by how beautiful all of my friend's photos were. Following that, she did two more of my friends' weddings and again, the photos were spectacular. I knew that when it was time for me to get married, I would not even research other photographers. I was confident that Jeri Houseworth Photography was the best out there. And now I can tell you, that she did not disappoint.

We not only have gorgeous engagement photos, but beautiful wedding pictures as well.

When we first began looking for a photographer for our wedding I knew that we wanted someone who would do more than just take pictures. I wanted the pictures to tell a story of the day. Jeri completely did this and so much more.There are not enough wonderful words to describe our feelings about Jeri and the photographs that she took at our wedding! I have only seen the preview on her blog but those alone are breathtaking and we can't wait to see more! She, along with Jen Rutherford and Trang Dam, all did an amazing job capturing our day!

Photography was at the very top of our list when we began planning our summer wedding in Spring Lake. So when we met Jeri, it was love at first sight. We could tell right away she is an arist- one who is very, very good at her craft. Her friendliness and candid humour put us right at ease.
On our wedding day, Jeri and Sara did an incredible job getting all the photos we had requested, despite some seriously uncooperative weather. And we're happy to tell them.
We, like most couples, wanted wedding photos we could treasure for a lifetime. Jeri exceeded our expectations. Jeri captured our wedding day, and our relationship, in such a personal way, it's as if she'd known us all our lives. I don't know were to begin!!! Jeri is an amazing photographer, from the day I walked into her studio I fell in love with everything from her display of past weddings she has done and her bubbly personality!!! She is such a nice person to work with, every email I sent she responded the same day.The day of my wedding she was right on time, ready to go!!! I also have to say her assistant Sara is also amazing!!! They are so calming!!!! Even my Husband commented to me how much he enjoyed having Jeri & Sara as our photographers. I do not even know where to begin to tell you about my WONDERFUL experience with Jeri and Sara. I had met with a few other photographers before meeting with Jeri and when I walked into her studio I knew instantly that she was the one. The smile she greeted me with told me right away that she loved her job and would be the best person to help capture our special day. Her sample albums were absolutely breathtaking. After booking with Jeri I realized that a friend of mine from high school had chosen her as her wedding photographer as well. After seeing the blog of her photos I absolutely could not wait to see the photos Jeri would take of us. The pictures that Jeri took of our wedding captured every second of the day and truly tell a story. Her professionalism and eye for beautiful pictures can't be beat by anyone else. I recommend Jeri to every bride and can only hope to work with her again in the future. Thank you Jeri for a spectacular job!!! Bravo!!!!

Words can not explain what talent this girl has. True story....In the first week I was engaged I was recommended a venue, I clicked to open their catalog and I saw her listed. I went to her website and knew in my heart that if I had nothing else Jeri HAD to be the photographer for our wedding. The price was a little overwhelming at first but after researching (some second placers) I realized her prices really weren't far off from professionals of her caliber. On the day of, Jeri and Sara were amazing. When they first arrived I said hello and didn't even really realize they were there. When it was time to start taking pictures, Jeri stayed with me while Sara went to take some shots (pictures) with the guys. My fiance and I decided we wanted to take pictures together before the ceremony so when it came time we did. After that it was once again as if they weren't there. Though the entire time they were right with us helping us along and so professional at the same time. Well when I went to pick up my proofs (all keepers) I couldn't believe when i was holding somewhere around possibly 1500 to 1800 pictures!!! (Yes you read that right) They had captured what looked like every person and minute of my wedding and the quality of the pictures were stunning, amazing, breathtaking. Every picture that I had said previously in our meeting that I wanted were taken and then some. They were where they said they would be, when they said they would be. They did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. Her work is outstanding and worth every penny. I wish I could have her everyday just following me around to capture my life she makes it look magical. Use her, book her, get her, you won't regret it.

When I was first looking for a photographer for our wedding I simply did a google search for anyone in my area. After a few big name websites, I clicked on to jeri's page... and I am so thankful I found her! It was simply beautiful! The pictures capture more of a story-like quality and were amazing. I couldn't wait to see what pictures Jeri and Sara would take at our wedding. She had the preview on her blog within 3 days of our wedding and we are both so impressed and excited when we saw just the previews! The pictures are breath-taking. Jeri did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding!! I had seen her work before as she also photographed my sister in-law's wedding but her pictures came out even better than I could have ever imagined. Her and Sarah were completely unobtrusive throughout our entire wedding day and made the whole experience fun! Jeri had a very small window of time to take pictures after our ceremony (less than an hour) before the sun went down but you would never know it from looking at the pictures!! I can't even say enough praise for Jeri and her team - her pictures really speak for themselves!!

Jeri and Sara are AMAZING at what they do. The photographs are beautiful and there are so many to choose from. At our wedding reception, Jeri was like a ghost.... you didn't see her anywhere.
