Exquisite Work!

I can’t say enough about Jen! She is a true artist and her passion shines through her work. She did my makeup for my engagement party back in August and for my Wedding in May. I love that she truly listens to what you want and what you like and takes note of your skin type. I truly felt like a Goddess on my Wedding Day and my family felt the same way! The best experience!

I absolutely loved working with Jen! I cannot say enough great things. Her and her team were so professional and prepared and made my entire wedding party look flawless. Starting at the hair and makeup trial Jen put me right at ease and her suggestions were spot on with my style. On the day of the wedding I booked Jen to stay with me until just after the ceremony for touch-ups and it was some of the best money we spent for the whole wedding. I was able to stay so calm and comfortable because I knew she had me looking my best in every moment. Jen treats the day like a true professional photo shoot and is always moving. In between shots she will adjust your hair and touch-up your makeup which was so crucial for me because it was a hot day. Having her by my side to keep me looking my best was priceless. I look back at all my pictures and I am so grateful she was there! She is also just an amazing person! I cannot recommend her services enough!

Best hire of the whole day

Jen was the BEST hire of my whole wedding day! She is so talented. She and her team recently did hair and makeup for myself, MOB and 10 bridesmaids. Everyone was so thrilled with their hair and makeup — they could not stop raving about it! Jen is so talented and will make you look beautiful yet still like yourself. It rained on our wedding day and Jen stayed for touch ups. She was there for every photo and fixed my hair, makeup, and veil to make sure it was perfect during photos. I was even willing to take photos outside because I knew Jen would make sure it was perfect before the ceremony. I HIGHLY recommend her. I was so calm on the rainy day and I’m convinced it was all because of her!! Thank you, Jen!!

Such a talent

I have never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Jennifer does an incredible job of highlighting all your best features while keeping such a natural look. For someone who doesn’t like any makeup and wears my hair in a bun, she was able to keep my minimal style and kick it up a notch. She is incredible to work with and with very little direction can execute your vision.

Jennifer is a MUST have wedding vendor!

Jennifer will be the best vendor you book for your wedding, hands down. Not only is she calm, reassuring, friendly and warm to be around (all qualities that made me as a bride feel so much better on wedding day), but she also has the ability to focus on what you as the client want and need. Honestly her makeup and hair skills will transcend you to a level of beauty and confidence you didn't think possible, all while still making sure you look and feel like yourself. Take my word - my husband, who barely would notice if I had shaved my head, commented to me that Jennifer had made me look radiant and ethereal (HE ACTUALLY USED THE WORD ETHEREAL!) My maid of honor and best friend, who is very specific about her hair and makeup, let Jennifer take the lead on her look and then promptly scheduled a time to book Jen for her own wedding next year (without even talking to any other vendors)! Stop looking and book Jen, she is the vendor you will be happiest about hiring. I wish I could hire her to follow me around for hair and makeup on the daily.

Jennifer came recommended to me as “the best of the best” in Atlanta and I am so glad she did. I signed a contract almost an entire year before our wedding to make sure our date was reserved and without hesitation! Jennifer is professional, talented, and client-oriented. On trial day, she worked relentlessly to ensure I was happy and comfortable with my final look and did not leave until it was achieved! On the day of our wedding, Jennifer and her team worked magic on our party and everyone looked BEAUTIFUL. I opted for additional “touch-up” hours and felt like I had a personal stylist with me all day. Jen gave her undivided attention and was an absolute gem to work with! You will NOT regret booking her for your special day – highly recommend!

As an out of town bride, scheduling (especially trial runs) can be difficult. Jen was very accommodating with our timing and made me and my seven bridesmaids (and two moms!) feel and look beautiful! She was absolutely lovely and I recommend to anyone.

Jennifer Nieman was the best vendor I worked with throughout my wedding planning and the day of the wedding. She is extremely responsive, nice, calming, reassuring and does wonderful work. I enjoyed my makeup trial because I felt heard and Jen is willing to take any feedback you give her and adjust accordingly. She replicated exactly what I wanted. I also asked to hire an assistant to help with hair for my wedding day. Jen hired a great assistant. All of my bridesmaids were very pleased. The day of the wedding Jen arrived on time and prepared. She has an upbeat spirit that could keep any bride happy and calm. She did my hair and then redid it because she herself wasn't pleased with the outcome. I also asked her for a few tweaks and she created exactly what I wanted after one small tweak. There are few people willing to put in the work and strive for perfection like Jen. She is a master at what she does.

Jen did an outstanding job with the bride's hair, MOB and several of the BM's. Everyone loved working with her! Jen is really quick and does excellent styling. She asked each girl to supply a personal photo and a photo of the hairstyle she desired prior to the wedding day however after the trial we all had so much confidence in Jen that on the wedding day we told her to o whatever she thought would work best for each one of us. Everyone was thrilled with the styling she provided!! Searching for a hair stylist was the most frustrating and exhausting part of our wedding planning and after a zillion phone calls, web searches and requests I was so ready to give up. I was so tired of hearing one price on the phone only to receive an extensive quote list with many additional extras included. Enough already!! We finally heard about Jen and problem solved!! She was awesome!!!

Jen is absolutely incredible!! Jen has an aura about her that ensures you you're in good hands. I had felt uneasy about professional makeup, having had terrible past experiences. Jen truly made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day. I loved that Jen really listened to preferences, and produced a stunning looks for both makeup and hair.

Jen has such a skilled an eye for styling, perfectly accentuating makeup so that our photos turned out every bit as beautiful as I felt the day of my wedding. Her precision and attention to detail coupled with a love for her art and genuine care for her client made Jen the best choice could have made for hair and makeup.

Jen and her fellow hair/makeup artists were absolutely amazing. They made myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom look like the best possible versions of ourselves- but not overdone (something I was very much trying to avoid). Jen is amazing at styling curly hair and mine stayed frizz-free all day and night (on a very hot Atlanta July day!) Jen is also just a lot of fun to work with, and a fun presence on your wedding day. I can't recommend her highly enough!

There will never be a review good enough for Jen. She was the the absolute best in every way. I like to think of her as the captain to my wedding "dream team". I struggled finding a high quality hair & makeup artist (being new to Georgia) and stumbled upon a highly recommended, Jennifer C. Nieman. After reviewing her beautiful website, I contacted her and once I received my response I just knew that her and I would hit it off. She was one of those vendors you instantly love on through email before even meeting! During my trial run with her, she took the time to get to know me, thankfully we had such similar style and tastes and I felt so comfortable and at ease, trusting her whole wholeheartedly with something as important as my wedding hair and makeup. I left my trial session with her feeling like I had hit it this one out of the park. I was literally on cloud 9, both with how I looked, and how I felt. My now husband, and I just recently were married, in Georgia on October 23rd, and all I can say is, I am so blessed to have made such a good friend with whom I highly recommend to everyone who needs these services. Jen is an absolute #GirlBoss and goes above and beyond. She will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself. She takes her time and listens to you. She will make you feel amazing, both inside and out. She is so skilled and talented in her craft, and is highly regarded within the wedding industry. I also paid for her to stay and do touch-ups during photos and everyone was so impressed that I had my own personal "assistant" to make me look pretty all day and night, from make-up touch-ups, to helping me pose for photos, to making sure I ate snacks, etc. There is literally no one better. I wish I could leave her a 10 star review! Be sure to book this gem, she's the bee's knees! :)

Jen did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and I could not have been more pleased with how it turned out. Jen is incredibly talented and so accommodating to work with. I will be the first one to say that I am super picky when it comes to hair & makeup (having a love for the industry unfortunately means I have a lot of 'opinions' on how I like things done). However, Jen always welcomed my thoughts and feedback & made sure that no matter what, I was going to be walking down that aisle looking exactly how I wanted to. What I love about Jen is her ability to make you look gorgeous, while never making you look 'overdone'. For my wedding, I wanted to make sure that I didn't look so 'done up' that I didn't look like myself & Jen has an incredible talent for enhancing one's natural beauty, rather than just masking you in layers of makeup. Along with hiring Jen for my wedding hair & makeup, I also decided to purchase some touch up hours from her, so that she was there to help fix my face after I was done crying through my ceremony :) This was a last minute decision, but probably one of the best uses of my money, for the entire wedding. Jen not only was there to touch up after my tears, but she worked with my photographer to make sure my hair was positioned just perfectly for all of my pictures, she helped carry my veil for me, as we were moving around the venue for different shots and she offered tissues as my tears of joy just kept on flowing! She went above & beyond to make sure that my day was perfect & I truly can't thank her enough. And if you are looking to have hair/makeup done for your entire group, Jen is a perfect resource for this. I had hair and makeup done for 3 moms, 5 bridesmaids, 1 jr. bridesmaids and myself and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Jen brought 3 additional assistants with her to help make sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner and all of the girls she brought were incredibly talented and very sweet. Can't recommend Jen enough!

Jennifer did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, and she was great! She always responded quickly to emails and was very professional and friendly! I really enjoyed talking with her while she worked her magic. She is very talented at what she does and knows how to make you look glamorous yet still feel natural. Unfortunately, she was booked for my wedding date, but she was very helpful with recommendations for other hair and makeup artists. I would definitely use her again for hair and makeup needs in the future!

Simply put… Jen is amazing! As someone that has sensitive skin and very thick hair, I was nervous from the get go on who would do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. The first time I talked to Jen, I knew I found what I was looking for. Throughout the entire process, she was always quick to respond to any questions, had tips for me when I had no idea what to do, etc. Overall, I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. On the night before the wedding, I knew I’d wake up with some bags under my eyes (from a few tears at the rehearsal dinner and lack of sleep that week) so I went ahead and texted her. The next morning, she was ready. She had cream, cold compresses, tea bags… trust me - she’s on her game. I admire Jen for the person she is and her work. She instantly became a friend from the first time we talked. Her creativity and enthusiasm is inspiring. She and her team made me, the MOB, and my bridesmaids beautiful for the day and everyone loved what they did!

Jen is AMAZING!!! Hiring Jen to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day was hands-down the BEST decision I made when it came to my wedding. She was my favorite of all my vendors by far- and that is saying a lot because all my vendors were great. From the get-go she was super friendly, understanding, and accommodating. Hair and makeup was of the up-most importance to me for my wedding (more so than anything else) and I looked at a lot of different hair and makeup vendors just to make sure that I found the best of them all- one that could pull off exactly how I wanted to look for my wedding day. Boy, did Jen go WAY beyond my expectations! She not only took my vision, and executed it to a tee but she also adjusted it to make sure that my look complimented my face-structure so that I looked my most beautiful. After my trial with her, I no longer had any doubts that I would look my best for my wedding day. She is just so ridiculously talented. Even when I wasn't all too sure what hair-do I wanted to go with, she told me not to worry as I could decide what to do that day and she would be more than ready to run with whatever I chose. She gave me the most beautiful up-do I have EVER had and the makeup was absolutely stunning to say the very least! All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and my mom (MOB) looked amazing (Jen did her makeup)- they all loved her and her assistant. She is truly an expert in all things beauty, skincare, hair, etc. and she is at the top of the game. This review could go on and on about how amazing Jen is but I think you get the point. Do not think twice about hiring Jen for your wedding hair and makeup- she is truly the best in the industry!!

Jen and her crew did hair and makeup for me (bride), MOB, MOG and 7 bridesmaids. Working with Jen was an excellent experience. She is extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. She was willing to work with anyone or fix anything that the girls were unsure of with their hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. Her number one goal is everyone feels great and is happy!

As the bride, I couldn't be happier. I am so glad I did a trial with Jen. The experience allowed me to get to know her to make my wedding day experience with her more fun. We also worked together to tweak hair and makeup throughout the trial, so it was just right on the big day. Her makeup skills are amazing. She provides explanations, tips, and reassurances throughout the entire process. The product was excellent!

I don't believe I've ever met a more talented young woman than Jennifer Nieman. She is an incredibly gifted hair and makeup artist, and she turned my daughter and her wedding party (including the MOB) into princesses for this wedding! She was able to create the exact look my daughter wanted on her special day, and none of us ever felt rushed or hurried. She made us all feel and look beautiful! She also came with us to the wedding venue, and stayed to make sure we were still looking awesome after the picture session (before the ceremony). She even redid the bride's and bridesmaids bouquets when they weren't what the bride wanted! She went WAAAY above and beyond what was expected and was truly kind to us. Just loved her :)

Jen is amazing! She is one of the best in the industry. She did my hair, my mother in laws, and 5 of my bridesmaids hair. All of my bridesmaid sent her a picture of what they were picturing and she was spot on! They all looked beautiful. I had originally planned on having my hair half up and half down when I met with her for my trial. On the day of the wedding I completely changed on her and decided I wanted my hair up due to the humidity. I was stressed out about this since I had not looked at any up dos beforehand and had no idea what I wanted to do. Jen was so calm about it and made me feel so comfortable about making this switch last minute. I looked at a few pics and she improvised as we went along. Needless to say my hair looked amazing. Jen is so sweet, professional and flexible. I think this is the best thing you can ask of a hairstylist on your wedding day. She did not do my makeup that day but she does a great job with that as well! You would be a fool not to hire Jen for your wedding day.

Jen was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! From the first time I contacted her via email she was very responsive and I knew immediately I wanted to work with her. My biggest fear leading up to my wedding day was that I would not feel pretty. But I have never felt so beautiful in my life. I have fine hair that never stays in place or holds a curl but my hair looked great all day and night. My makeup was flawless but also looked natural and ethereal. And I have never seen my bridesmaids look so beautiful either. We all felt so pretty and the flowergirls felt so growny and special! We all came in with ideas and pictures and Jen was able to give guidance about what would look best with our skin, face shape, hair type, etc.. But she was also sure to give us what we wanted. Jen was so great to work with; she were very calm and relaxing. Jen made the whole getting ready process so fun and enjoyable. She went above and beyond that day and I could have not asked for a better fit for me and my bridal party. She even stayed for a little while longer, after we were all dressed and started with pictures, to make sure everything went smoothly. I would love to work with her again and will recommend her to any bride.

Jennifer was so fun to work with for wedding hair and makeup. She listened so well to achieve the look that I was after and we had a great time chatting throughout the getting ready time. My sister who was my maid of honor had her hair done by another girl and was not thrilled with it and after I was all done getting ready and had paid Jen, she offered to fix Carrie's hair even though we had only hired her to do my hair and makeup. Her willingness to go above and beyond was so evident to me and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her.

For my wedding day, I had a very specific look and feel I wanted to achieve with my hair and makeup. I wanted a somewhat dramatic makeup look as well as a retro-inspired hairstyle to fit my vintage themed wedding. I quickly found through all my online searches, that many people would not be right for the job. I needed someone who was capable of a more complex look than the typical chignon or loose curls. Then, I found Jen. We spent a lot of time over email talking about my vision, and I could tell from her picture gallery that she was up for the job! For my trial run, Jen spent a lot of time in the consultation portion, making sure that we were totally on the same page. I have to say the finished look was basically exactly what I had envisioned! The day of my wedding, Jen arrived on time and quickly set up everything she needed. She made things run seamlessly, doing both my mom's makeup, mother in law's makeup, my maid of honors hair, and finally my hair and makeup. Both my mother and mother-in-law were extremely impressed with their finished looks, showing the huge breadth that Jen is capable of!! My maid of honor's hair also looked incredible! Throughout the day, people could not stop talking about the hair and makeup--they loved it!! It totally completed my look. Jen is amazing!!! I have NEVER had a hairstylist actually do my hair where I feel perfect but she exceeded ALL of my expectations. She did an amazing job with my hair for my wedding day and my makeup was breathtaking. I have never felt so beautiful in all my life even before I put on my wedding dress. If you are looking for a stylist that will understand exactly what you are needing, stays on time with your timeline and that you actually enjoy being around book Jen immediately! She is one vendor that you will be proud of having and that you will not look back.

Jen is absolutely AMAZING! She did my hair and makeup and my huge wedding party's hair and makeup for our wedding in April. I can't tell you how gorgeous I felt on that day. Everyone looked beautiful and Jen and her team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy with how they looked.

I had to plan my wedding out of town which can be a little stressful! I found Jennifer Nieman online and I absolutely loved her website; very clean and easy to navigate. I emailed her and she responded quicker than anyone else and kindly responded to my 100 emails filled with questions. When I finally met her, which was on my wedding day, she had such a calming energy. I didn't feel stressed or nervous. I showed her pictures of my inspiration for my hair and make up and she completely achieved the look I had in mind. She also let me know that anything I didn't like she could fix, she never made me feel stressed or pressured! She even packed me a little "touch up" kit to take with me for after pictures. She was absolutely wonderful, on time, prepared, and extremely talented! I'd hire her again in a heart beat!

Jennifer was absolutely a dream. Approaching our wedding day, things were pretty bananas. From the beginning, Jen was easy to communicate with, she was timely with her responses, receptive to feedback and questions and always so friendly.

I'm a designer by trade, so I had a vision of the "big day", but I also wanted to give Jen the freedom to do what she does best. After sending some "inspiration", she was able to firmly grasp what I was going for, and worked with me and my natural features. On my wedding day (and on the trial day), I felt beautiful, and dang straight, I looked good.

Jen even went above and beyond to help make the floral crown I wore as well as completely make my bouquet (in the final minutes before I was supposed to leave for the ceremony, I had realized that I had forgotten to make the bouquet. Figuring I'd just pick a magnolia en route, Jen insisted that she use the extra blooms and greens to make a bouquet. It was absolutely stunning).

By the end of all of it, Jen had not only transformed me into a more beautiful put-together version of myself, she also saved my butt, and became a friend. I'd happily and absolutely recommend Jen to anyone who is not just looking for make up and hair, but also a behind-the-scenes bridesmaid who'll be your accomplice on your big day.

I was extremely happy with my decision to work with Jen. She was one of the most responsive vendors that I worked with and did absolutely beautiful work! I chose to do a trial session with her right before my engagement photo shoot with wonderful results - my now husband and I love the photos. She then proceeded to make me look even better on my wedding day. I normally don't wear much makeup, and did not want to look overdone. Jen was able to bring out my best features without making me feel unnatural. She also did beautiful work on my hair and gave me the soft, romantic updo that I was going for. She was a true professional, and was super flexible - she arrived to my place at 5 am with assistants to be able to help me keep with my timeline. My 3 bridesmaids and my 3 mothers (step-mom, mom and mother-in-law) talked about how much they loved their makeup all day. I would definitely work with her again and have already recommended her to friends who will soon be married.

Jen was amazing! She did hair and makeup for me, two bridesmaids and a flower girl. She traveled to our rental house for a very reasonable rate and was there early and ready to go for our 7:30am start time. She was prompt, flexible and a pleasure to be around during the morning of my wedding and I couldn't have asked for better results. Jen did my hair &makeup for my engagement photos, and I could not have been happier with the results! I was very worried, because my skin was very broken out and I had red acne marks on my cheeks and forehead. Jen covered the spots no problem, and made my complexion look even and glowing! She did my makeup by hand, and she was very meticulous to ensure I was happy with the results. My makeup lasted all day. My hair turned out great also. I have long hair, and a lot of it, and Jen made it look flowing and beautiful with big, soft curls. She made certain that I loved my look before I walked out the door, and sent me with a touch-up kit as well. I've never had my hair &makeup professionally done, and it was definitely worth it. Jen was absoultely wonderful and I would highly recommend her! She was so sweet and fun to work with and great to have around on the wedding day. I loved the trial with her because she reallly understood the look I was going for and was able to create it so easily, and I felt so much better knowing what my makeup woud look like on the day of. I considered trying to do hair and makeup myself but I was SO happy that I went with Jennifer instead, not to mention I was way too distracted and nervous on the wedding day and it would have been nearly impossible to do a good job myself. I felt like my hair and makeup was beautiful but still natural looking, and I got a lot of compliments It looked great in the photos and lasted all night. I recently used Jennifer Nieman to do the hair and makeup for myself and my 6 bridesmaids for my wedding. I could not have been happier with the results. She and her assistant were able to give my girls the exact looks they were going for, and their makeup and hair lasted all night. She also provides everyone with touch up kits, which include hair pins, blotting paper and the lipstick chosen, which is a great perk.

When Jen and I first met to do my trial, she was extremely flexible and worked to provide me the exact look I was going for. She achieved the perfect romantic version of myself that I had envisioned, and really made the day special. Thanks again Jen!

I had so many people tell me on the day of my wedding, that I was the most beautiful they had ever seen me - and Jennifer was a HUGE part of that. She did an excellent job with my hair and make-up that lasted all day and all night through outdoor pictures and dancing. If I could give advice to any bride it would be to surround yourself with people and vendors on your wedding day that make you feel at ease and that really listen to you. Jennifer was that and more. It was almost like having another bridesmaid there because she didn't just do her job and leave; she calmed my fears about the rain and even helped with ideas when I wanted to change the wording on my vows. Jen was a delight! Our make up trial was super fun and I was glad to get to know her a little bit before my big day. All I can say is WOW when thinking about Jennifer and her hair and make up abilities. Her work is truly impeccable and I feel so blessed that I was able to have her for my wedding. At the trial, we talked about what I did and did not want and she took my vision and not only ran with it, but exceeded my expectations. Jennifer is extremely personable and a great listener and it made for a very enjoyable experience during the trial and the day of the wedding. In my opinion, she is the kind of person that everyone likes, and if you don't like her for whatever reason, that's a flaw of yours.
My venue had some issues the morning of my wedding and kicked Jennifer and her assistant out for a good hour, and despite that, she maintained a positive attitude and somehow managed to finish the bridesmaids and myself with more than enough time (superwoman status). I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding, and I think that's how it's supposed to go. I can't say enough thank you's to Jennifer for everything: the laughs, the understanding, the experience she has, the work that she did on me, the comfort of working with her.

Jen was an absolute gem and joy to work with. I can't imagine anyone else sharing that special morning and afternoon of getting ready with my besties. She did the hair of all of my bridesmaids and she spot-on captured what each one had in mind, not to mention their hair lasted all day and night in the Georgia heat. My hair and makeup was flawless and lasted all night as well, and she happily accommodated some last-minute tweaks I asked for. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jen. From my very first interaction with her, she exuded confidence and professionalism that had me know that I was going to look BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day. She worked with me to achieve a natural, glowing look that would work well for my daytime wedding. Her advice and experience working with brides and providing different options was invaluable. (And she even got up to meet me at 6:30 in the morning! Wow!) She has such a gentle energy too, which was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves as I got ready for the big day. My hair and make-up were perfect and lasted throughout a long, humid summer day. I felt absolutely radiant. Thanks, Jen. You were an absolutely special part of my wedding. I have nothing but good things to say about Jen! She is a beautiful person all-around and did an awesome job on my wedding makeup! Jen arrived a few minutes early to setup and did a great job sticking to her proposed timeline. Everyone looked beautiful and I am so glad that Jen was able work with me! She was very accomodating and helpful in planning my look at the trial, and was receptive to things I wanted to change for the actual day. I highly recommend using Jen for your wedding or event, it is so worth the extra money to have a professional do your makeup on your wedding day!

Jen rescued me from a wedding nightmare. I had a trial run with one of the big salons in town, and it was horrible. Luckily, I was put in touch with Jen. From the very beginning, she was extremely professional. She returns calls and emails promptly and really listens to what you want. We had a great trial run and I was much more relaxed about my wedding day. On the big day, Jen arrived on time and set up quickly. Not only did she do phenomenal work, she was fun to hang out with. All of my bridesmaids were thrilled with their looks. Jen enhances natural beauty, she doesn't just glop product on your face. I would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone looking for a fun and professional stylist.

I found Jennifer about 2 months before my wedding and boy was I lucky as I was worried waiting so long to get your hair and makeup person. You see I live out of state but my wedding was in ATL so I had to go off online pics and personality on phone. Jennifer made me feel so confident that she could achieve the look I wanted and her work looked great online. I needed to find an artist that was affordable and trusted. Jennifer's background from LA in film and the bridal industry was impressive. I had no problem for the sake of my sanity to pay a little more for Jennifer as her professionalism and experience won me over. When I met Jennifer the week of my wedding for my trial, I knew I had found a diamond in the rough looking through endless ads and websites. The most important reason why I choose her is because of her natural looking makeup. But I like makeup and like the glam look. She listened to what I wanted and tried out a couple ways to achieve the glam I wanted.

The day of the wedding, I felt like a queen that day. It looked like me with a more glam look. My mom never looked better and my bridal party was fabulous. I had girls with all different skin tones and she nailed the flawless foundation we all strive for.

The other thing I loved about Jennifer is that she was able to literally whip up my vision of what I wanted for my bridesmaid hair. We all searched for pics for months and it was so funny that the day of the wedding Jennifer nailed the messy up-do hair to the side that I wanted for my girls. They loved it and so did I. She literally did it in 4 mins, and it was what we wanted but couldn't find in pics.

All this to say, that I was so excited that she was part of my day as not only is her work fantastic, but she is super nice and professional. I found some artist to have attitudes or were entitled. I didn't need that on my day. Thanks Jen for making us beautiful and being a great listener that can execute a bride's vision.

Jennifer was awesome! She was very professional and did my hair and makeup exactly as I had hoped for my big day. The makeup was flawless and natural and the hairstyles she provided for both me and my bridesmaids were classic and relaxed... not "overdone." At the same time, her pricing was reasonable. Jennifer Nieman was my makeup and hairstylist for my wedding in Los Angeles on September 26th, 2009. Jen was very professional. She was easy to get in touch with, responsive to e-mails and telephone calls, and arrived on time for all scheduled appointments. I was nervous to get my makeup and hair done, but knew that it was necessary for the wedding. I don't normally wear a lot of eye makeup and my biggest fear is that it looks overdone and unnatural especially with my pale complection. Jen understood my concerns and did a wonderful job with my eyes and the rest of the makeup. I really looked my best on my wedding day, and the makeup photographed beautifully. I looked natural and like a better version of myself, which is what I wanted. I am so thankful for her expertise. She also did my hair in a updo. It was pulled back in loose relaxed curls but didn't budge the whole night and held my vail beautifully. I have recommended Jen to a number of friends and family who have also been very happy with her work.

Jennifer is an AWESOME makeup artist. We only had one trial and she was able to give me the look I wanted on the first try! All I had to do was give her a couple of pictures for inspiration. She gave me the absolute perfect look for my day and I looked just how I wanted in pictures. An added bonus? She stepped in to do my hair last minute when the hair stylist I booked fell through!

Jennifer was such a pleasure to work with. We met ahead of time to do a trail run on make-up and hair and i think we were a good match. She was very friendly and professional. Jen was a total pleasure to work with on my wedding day. She met with me ahead of time to do a test makeup run, and executed all of our final decisions to the tee. She was extremely flexible with my schedule, and had no problem showing up at 5am to get the entire bridal party ready. Jennifer did my hair for my wedding day, along with my mom, my two sister-in-laws, my mother-in-law, my grandmother and my great aunt. She was amazing! Came to my house for a trial and was able to do exactly what I wanted. She told me ahead of time, to have pictures or ideas about what I wanted and she was able to duplicate what I wanted. We did a few different styles that day and finally settled on what I wanted. Jennifer came to the hotel the night before the wedding and blew out my hair for our rehearsal dinner and then showed up the next day to do all of our hair. We were a high maintenance group and she handled us with total professionalism! I would DEFINITELY recommend her to other brides and party people! Thanks, Jennifer!

Jen is AMAZING. She is incredibly kind, professional, and an extremely talented artist. My mom refers to her as one of the "stars" of our wedding team. Having her stay for touch-ups until after the ceremony was over was also a VERY good decision. She is so attentive to detail and made me feel so at ease throughout the day. Jennifer is amazing! I was referred to her after another a vendor was already booked for my date and it was a fantastic referral. The first thing I noticed is how friendly she was through all our emails and made you feel like she was a friend and not necessarily a client. We went back and forth on the date of my trial due to her waiting back to hear from other brides schedules and she was pretty flexible on the date. When I went for my trial she had already done a wedding that day where she had I think 7-9 girls to do but still seemed happy to be doing my trial with me. She was so laid back and easy to work with and I never had an encounter with her where I felt stressed, I felt excited to hear from her. Once in a while there was a slight delay in her responding to my email because she is so busy, but to me it wasn't a big deal because I know she would respond and nothing I emailed her about was ever really urgent. For the most important part, I loved my hair and makeup! It turned out just how I imagined and it lasted all day (with a few touch ups to my makeup later in the day of course), my hair even withheld the windy weather during pictures. My Mom still talks about how she loved her make up and one of my bridesmaids who has been in several weddings said this was the best hair and makeup she has had. You can't go wrong with Jen, she is awesome!!!

Jen is amazing at all things hair & makeup! If you want to look incredible but still feel like yourself, Jen is your vendor. She was easy to talk to and I really appreciated her recommendations for beauty care and style. I booked her for hair & makeup for my entire bridal party and my mom. Jen and her assistant, Chelsea, did great work and were both so friendly. We were all really pleased with our looks! The touchup kit for all the ladies was such a nice touch and helped us feel prepared for the whole day.

Jennifer's skills with hair and makeup exceeded my expectations. I was pretty particular when choosing a hair and makeup stylist because I knew that I'd be fussy about how I looked on my wedding day (I wanted a more natural look which a lot of the other people I looked into didn't seem to have much experience doing). I wanted to feel comfortable and go with someone I'd trust from the start. Jennifer was enthusiastic and conversational. She welcomed my mom and I for a dry-run and then accommodated when we ended up adding a few bridesmaids at the very last minute. Above all, everyone looked freakin' incredible, and I think what's an even bigger compliment is that everyone seemed to FEEL beautiful too.

Jennifer was AMAZING!! I had a certain look I was going for and was worried I couldn't pull it off, especially with my short and very fine hair. In the trial run, we also had issues with the headpiece/veil. Needless to say, all of this came together beautifully and I loved the look!! My best friend told me that I looked like a porcelain doll. Also, Jennifer was very good at really listening to my wants and needs for myself and my mother. My mother rarely wears makeup so she didn't do too much, but I've never seen her look more beautiful (my husband said the same for me and said it was totally worth it!). Jennifer has a wonderfully sweet and fun personality and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! Her pricing also seemed pretty fair for what you get. :)

Very Disappointed - Corona Brides Beware

Jennifer was one of the first vendors I booked, based on great reviews. Unfortunately, when coronavirus hit we had to cancel the wedding. Rather than being compassionate or flexible, Jennifer made the cancellation process more stressful, difficult, and upsetting. She varied between being non-responsive and passive aggressive. In every email, she brought up her own struggles and business concerns, and was sure to mention "her lawyer". We weren't looking for the deposit back; just for flexibility to reschedule to a tiny wedding (only doing my hair and makeup). We are in a new world with this virus, one that calls for compassion and decency from all of us. Every other person we worked with rose to the occasion. If you are looking for a flexible vendor in these uncertain times, look elsewhere.
