    I could not have dreamt of a better photographer or a sweeter person to photograph my wedding. Jen made us all so comfortable and really made our photographs fitting to us. She also helped me with other wedding details and referrals as I was planning a wedding from out of state. We had such a fun time taking pictures and her art was phenomenal. I couldn't have been happier with Jen and I highly recommend her!

    Jen was the first photographer I met in person and I immediately took a liking to her. She is energetic and seemed just as excited as I was about my upcoming wedding. My fiance and I met with another photographer but she felt all wrong and was kind of a bummer. She was also very pushy and Jen wasn't. After meeting with the other woman, I knew Jen was the one. She worked with my fiance and I about a payment plan and we were able to pay over the year instead of pay one lump sum like most photographers want you to do. I just received my proofs today and they are beautiful! Jen took all the pictures I asked for and then some. She also took charge during the reception and helped me get my bridal party together to take the pictures. I would recommend her 100 times over. Thanks Jen for making my day so special!

    Jen is a true artist and a professional!! She did an amazing job as our wedding photographer. This was a difficult task as we were incorporating two cultures and two seperate ceremonies. Being a professional in the truest sense, she did her own independent research on Persian wedding ceremonies and her photos were a proof of that. Oh yeah, she is a wonderful person and a total sweetheart. Thanks again. Looking forward to having you as our family photographer for future occasions and milestones.

    Jen is AWESOME! We absolutely love our photos! She is not just someone that you will hire to photograph your wedding. She actually cares about you, your wedding, and what's going on in your life. I lost one of my best friends just a few weeks before my wedding and Jen was very supportive. She will do whatever she can to make sure you are happy on your special day and that you have beautiful photos to remember it.

    Jen was our second shooter and she did an absolutely fantastic job! She was a huge help on our wedding day as she was well organized, knew which shots needed to get done, and kept everyone on task so that we could get all the pictures done quickly. She also had some really good ideas to get some unique and personal shots! I would definitely recommend her to others! Thanks so much Jen!

    I really enjoyed working with Jen. She was sweet, fun and professional. Our pictures are AMAZING and exactly what I had envisioned them to be. I absoutley love them. I hope to work with her again in the future.

    Jen Shannon made our wedding day PERFECT!! She was fun, understanding, and very professional. Our pictures are AMAZING. Jen was very accesible and helpful while planning our destination elopement wedding. We were very nervous about choosing a photographer from a different area, but she put me at ease by answering all of our questions in a timely manner. We are actually going to book her again for some family photos. She would be an asset to any wedding : )

    When starting my wedding planning, the photographer was the first vendor I looked for. It was very important to my fiance (now husband) and I to have quality pictures to last a lifetime. A reliable source recommended Jen Shannon to me and I'm so glad they did! Jen made our wedding experience fun and made us feel comfortable. She really worked on getting to know us to find our style, likes, dislikes, etc. and nailed it perfectly! I am in LOVE with our pictures...and so is everyone else! Jen knows exactly what she is doing and her talent radiates through her pictures. She was so sweet and professional and always responded to my emails in a timely manner and answered all of my questions before I even had to ask. I would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone!

    I booked Jen while stationed in Afghanistan with only three weeks before the wedding. Jen made everything a breeze from setting the appointment date to the ceremony. Jen photographed my daughter's wedding and did a wonderful job - she didn't have a lot to work with in regards to the initial location at my daughter's house (lots of people and children running around). The pictures turned out wonderful.

    Jen was wonderful. She was so energetic and fun. We took the traditional wedding pictures then heading out into town for some fun and untraditional poses. We were so comfortable working with Jen it really shows in the pictures.

    We were so happy to work with Jen throughout our wedding. First off, I can't say enough about the quality of her work. Her pictures are so natural and vibrant. We had engagement and wedding pictures taken, and she even took some lovely pictures of my bridal shower. She was very informative and always sent me thorough updates throughout the whole process. She has a wonderful gift in making everyone feel comfortable and natural when she's taking pictures so they will look their best. The pictures from our wedding (besides the family portraits) were not posed, which I love, yet all of the pictures were so timeless. I would HIGHLY recommend this photographer for weddings, or any occasion!

    I don’t think I can say enough good things about Jen Shannon Photography. I am so thankful that I hired her for our wedding reception. She was extremely professional, on time, prompt in delivering her product and her work was exceptional. Our home is littered with our wedding photos because they are just so beautiful. Jen Shannon is not your typical wedding photographer…she goes over and beyond your expectations. She is a true artist and I highly recommend trusting her in capturing your special day. I am heartbroken that she has relocated her business and was not able to document our latest life’s adventure…a baby girl!

    I have NEVER been more disappointed in working with a photographer in my life. I met Jen at a bridal show and at first glance, thought I was receiving an amazing deal. She sold me on the $99 for a portrait session, makeup for two and a $100 credit towards one of her products (i.e. purchasing a wall print or just print-outs). What was EXTREMELY deceiving is the prices on her prints. She charges $3300 for 20 photos. I don't care how great the photos are, $3300 is outrageous for 20 photos. And on top of it, you only receive the digital files for the photos you print. One wall portrait is nearly $400. Not one time during our conversation at her booth did Jen mention the cost of the portraits themselves... which makes sense seeing as how I NEVER would have paid $99 + tax for a session that I can't afford to print the photos.

    When I reached out to Jen after reviewing the prices (of course, after paying the $99), she flat-out refused to give a refund, stating that her prices are completely fair. Well, to be honest, if you're receiving thousands of dollars from all your other clients who want and can pay that money, what does a measly $100 benefit you? Well, when I asked that, I received this response: "I don't owe you an explanation for what my business makes and how the funds are allocated."

    A few other quotes:
    "Clearly, if people didn't value my services and products, they wouldn't pay the $3,300 for 20 prints, but they do."
    "I will not be issuing a refund. You received what you paid for..."
    "You can't compare a Hundai to a BMW."
    "My policy and business model have always been the same and I've never had anyone come back unaware of what they've purchased or upset at the cost."
    ...well, I was very upset. So why not issue me a refund?

    Enjoy my $100. I'll be sure to spread the word.
