Anyone looking for an amazing photographer should stop their search -- you will NOT get better than Jeff Tisman. I had high hopes for our wedding pictures, because I had seen his work before...but honestly, I could not have imagined how fantastic ours would turn out. We took Jeff's advice and gave his lots of time before the ceremony to take the majority of our pictures. Not only did it give us time to warm up, since we are not used to posing etc...but it also gave us time to visit a few areas to get some amazing architectural details in our photos. I seriously can not believe that they are our wedding pictures -- they look more like something you would see on a billboard or in a magazine. We went to the train station in Liberty State Park and there are some shots in there that are just amazing pieces of art (and we just happen to be in them too)! The other thing that I want to mention is that Jeff was just awesome to work with -- he is funny, a total pro and put us instantly at ease. Once our pre-ceremony photo shoot was over, I have to say Jeff and Steve just blended into the crowd and we just enjoyed our night uninterrupted!!! We did pop outside twice to capture some pictures with the amazing sunset and against the NY night skyline -- absolutely worth it!!! You just can't go wrong with Jeff Tisman to capture the biggest day of you're life!

We just got married and haven't even gotten our pictures back yet but I couldn't wait to give Jeff a rave review just based on what he showed us on the back of his camera on the day, and the one teaser shot he sent! He is a joy to work with, so relaxed and easy and clearly a true artist, the shots he got are so beautiful and bad-ass, I can't wait to see see them all! Our wedding was incredibly perfect: I only wish I could get married to Noah again... if I ever do you can be sure I'll be using Jeff again too!

What can I say about Jeff aside from AMAZING?! Our pictures are fantastic, and the best part of it all is that we had so much fun during the day of our wedding. Despite all the threats from hurricane Irene, we managed to get out there, take phenomenal photos, and have fun. Jeff was professional, creative, and best of all, diligent in making sure every aspect of our wedding was not only photographed, but photographed well. After the wedding, my husband, who initially had asked me why we even need to get a photographer, was so blown away by Jeff and his work, that he felt it was worth every penny, and wants Jeff to photograph all our major life occasions!

Let me start out by saying that I have never once taken the time to review anything online, good bad or indifferent.. However, I am so overwhelmingly in love with our wedding pictures that I had to share it with the world. Jeff Tisman is honestly a genius! I can't even begin to count the number of times people have said to my husband, Mike, and I that they are the best pictures they have ever seen. Jeff, and his assistant Steve, are incredibly professional but super laid back and easy to work with. The quality and number of pictures taken before the wedding, during the ceremony, and at the reception are staggering. Jeff somehow managed to capture every special moment, every guest, and the depth of emotion present on our wedding day. I would absolutely recommend him without reservation to anyone who is interested in having timeless artistic breathtaking photos.

Jeff is awesome!!!! We received a "teaser" set of pictures and each photo was better then the next! Jeff and Steve made us feel so comfortable and captured every detail of our wedding. They even found ways to incorporate our chihuahua and my husband's car. I would definitely recommend Jeff to photograph your wedding. I reviewed his blog ahead of time and fell in love with each and every picture on there!

We had been shopping for a photographer for quite some time when Jeff was recommended to us by an unavailable colleague. After a quick view of the photography posted on his website and blog, it was obvious that the quality of his shots were just a cut above the competition. The angles, the colors, the creativity and originality of his photos were like nothing we had seen. When we met in person we instantly booked him not just because he is a superior photographer but also because was so excited about making our wedding day an unforgettable experience. Our wedding day came and went in a flash but we feel extremely lucky that we were able to hire Jeff to capture us and our loved ones in those amazing moments so we can travel back to them forever. A word of advice to prospective brides and grooms: give him the time he needs to give you beautiful photos. We do not regret skipping the receiving line, or having seen one another prior to the ceremony. These small sacrifices allowed us to have a box full of great memories of us in cool venues and we did not miss a minute of our cocktail hour or reception! Once the day is over, the photos are the only thing that brings you back when the memories begin to fade. Jeff Tisman has given us extremely vivid, lasting memories of the best day of our lives and we can’t thank him enough!

We loved Jeff and Drew ! So creative and different which was exactly what we were hoping for. They stray away from boring, mundane wedding photography that is so easy to find. We havent stopped getting compliments on our beautiful wedding photos.

We got married on February 12th. On February 10th, at 7pm, the photographer we had booked called to tell me he had pneumonia and would not be able to shoot our wedding. But, he had been able to book his friend Jeff Tisman and his assistant Drew. Needless to say I was upset when I first spoke with my photographer because he had a very specific style that I wanted for our wedding. That night I got home, and looked at Jeff's website. Immediately, I was relieved because I could tell he had the same style that I had wanted.

On the day of our wedding, after meeting Jeff and Drew, all I kept thinking was that things really worked out the way they were supposed to. Jeff was FANTASTIC. I was able to speak with Jeff the day before the wedding, and he was so reassuring and friendly. On the day of the wedding Jeff and Drew walked into my parent's house, and literally immediately began taking pictures of the rings, dress, shoes, etc. It was amazing to see their ability to immediately take in the light and surroundings and just begin shooting.

Jeff and Drew made me (and my girls) feel so beautiful, comfortable and at ease throughout the entire photo session. Jeff would show us a shot every once in a while and even on the little screen on the camera we could tell they were amazing. Jeff and Drew had such creative ideas and are truly so talented.

Jeff and Drew were also so unobtrusive. Not once throughout the night did I feel like they were following us around or in our faces trying to get a shot. There was no bright lights in our eyes or photographer moving guests out of the way so he could get a shot. So far I've only been able to see what Jeff has posted on his blog, and those shots are amazing. I cannot wait to see the rest because I know we will love every one!

The best thing I can say about Jeff and Drew is that they are just good people. They were friendly, funny, easygoing and personable. At the end of the night, I really just wanted them to stay and hang out with us! I would recommend Jeff a million times over, to everyone I know. He was absolutely wonderful!

I can't even begin to describe how awesome Jeff is! After searching on the knot through one photographer's website to the next, I came across Jeff's page. I was immediately captivated by what I saw and I knew that was who I wanted to photograph my wedding. When I learned he was available for my date, I was so excited (and relieved) that I was able to find the best guy to handle the most important part of my wedding.


Jeff is one of my best memories from the big day. Although most everything else that happened that day is a blur, Jeff and his magic camera remain clear in my mind. He would do whatever it took to get the shot, even if it meant lying on the ground underneath a car or trudging through muddy ground surrounding a trio of silo's. He is so comfortable to work with that I forgot how nervous I was. Taking pictures was so fun and luckily he brought his assistant Drew to make us bring out the big smiles!

As I write this review while looking at our wedding shots on the computer, I can't stop smiling. Every picture I have could go into an album. Jeff advised me in advance how to structure the day so that we could get the best possible pictures in the best possible light without being rushed. Our friends and family are still raving about the awesome photographer we had and all told me that that is the guy they want for their big day. Honestly, he took the most awesome pictures I have ever seen and I am so fortunate that I will have these memories for the rest of my life. His work is absolutely intoxicating.

I could never explain just how amazing Jeff Tisman's photography is- it's nothing like I've ever seen. This is not traditional wedding photos. He's creative and super-talented- I have 800 images from the wedding and I like EVERY SINGLE ONE! In addition to the superb product, Jeff is a pleasure to deal with and is someone you feel is really a friend from the first second you meet him. He is genuine and truly makes you feel like your wedding is the most important he's ever shot. He's worth every penny- if there is one thing to splurge on for your wedding, it is the photography! My friends and family are still raving about his shots! I hope that Jeff will be photographing my family (someday!) for years to come!

We absolutely loved working with Jeff and Drew for both our E-session and our wedding! For our E-session, we worried about the rain and not getting shots that we would love, but we got amazing shots with umbrellas and jumping in puddles! For our wedding, we spent a few hours before the wedding taking shots around Princeton and campus. We love all of our posed shots! We look like the best versions of ourselves! Jeff and Drew captured amazing detail shots. We spent so much working putting together our wedding, and we're so grateful to have these photos to enjoy!

Everyone was so impressed at how many shots they were taking and all of their fun and fancy equipment! The guys kept asking for the rockstar lighting!

To top it all off, we got a wonderful video of the day! It was an incredible experience, and we have the best photos ever to always remember our day! We couldn't thank you enough!

My husband and I can't say enough great things about Jeff! He was a blast to work with and we have AMAZING photos from the day! He was the photographer for my friends wedding and any photographer I looked at didn't compare to his work. We knew we had to get him and it was the best decision we ever made. We get compliments from people we don't even know on our pictures...we are obsessed!

Jeff is AMAZING! He was so great on our day. He books up way in advance so basically nab him up if you can. :)

We absolutely lucked out when we found Jeff Tisman to do our wedding photography. Even though we also got the videographer for our event, I believe the actual pictures are the main memorabilia that we are going to take away from that date thanks to Jeff. He was extremely professional and at the same time so easy-going and down-to-earth. Amazing eye and ability to capture details that we will cherish forever. Not models by nature, (we do not perform well in the spotlight) Jeff was able to make us feel at ease throughout the wedding.
