I don’t even know what to say. Not only is Janelle amazing at what she does but she’s also an incredible person. She is so fun and lighthearted and made everyone feel comfortable. I am very picky with photography and wanted someone who wasn’t going to just take standing portraits of us the whole day. She is so talented and captures some amazing moments. She was extremely professional and responsive and I got all my photos in less than a month! I also had specific requests and she made sure I got everything I wanted. I would highly suggest booking 2 photographers because this really elevates the whole experience. 10/10 would recommend from a very happy bride! -

Janelle is amazing! From the first phone call she made us feel like we were her only client and would do anything to make our day perfect. She is so enthusiastic and so kind and meshed with who we are so well. I work in video so I wanted to find someone who would live up to my standards and I was beyond impressed by her skill and creativity. She was very patient and all for pushing boundaries for different shots I wanted. After our engagement shoot she said she felt me and my now husband shared one soul. That feeling was absolutely captures in the photos she took of us. She took the time to understand who we are so well that by the time our wedding came we felt she was like family. Getting married during COVID-19 our plans were flipped upside down and constantly changing, and Janelle was so understanding and accommodating. She was so fun to have around on our wedding day and even helped hide me from my guests as we were walking back from the first look. I couldn’t have imagined our day without her! -

Truly One Of A Kind!
Janelle is MORE than just a photographer, she is an ally and a calming force, complete sunshine when you are stressed to the max! She helped with any questions during my wedding planning days, even those not related to photography! She was incredible at capturing moments that I missed at the wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better photographer- she is a real gem in this community for not only her talents but her cheerful personality! 💜💜💜 -

Janelle is the best!
Janelle has been nothing but AMAZING! She was the photographer for my best friends wedding, and I knew then that if I were to ever get married, I was hiring Janelle! She is so sweet and welcoming. Our engagement shoot was perfect, she made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun! She was incredible at our wedding, and anything I needed she had! Even Some mints before I walked down the aisle to kiss my husband! All of our pictures have turned out amazing and everyone continues to compliment me on our great all my pictures are. She pays very close attention to detail and goes out of her way to make you feel special! I could not recommend her more! Now I need more life events so I can hire her again!!!! -

Best Photographer Ever!
Janelle did an amazing job on our wedding and engagement photos!! She has been one of our favorite vendors. She made my new husband and I comfortable throughout the entire process!! She answered all of our questions and was super kind and friendly. Throughout the planning process, I reached out to her a few times and she was always very helpful with great suggestions. She traveled to do our engagement pictures where we wanted them. She even took pictures in the rain with a smile and with enthusiasm! We received a beautiful flash drive with all the pictures for our use. We were allowed to post them and order prints. For our wedding photos, she worked with my crazy list of pictures and ensured we had each picture, along with her assistant Elisha. She kept the wedding day running smoothly and according to our timeline, which was nothing short of amazing. She posted a teaser photo the next day and had a beautiful slideshow and blog post for us within a week!! Her work is truly incredible and beautiful. I love when she took photos of us and said, "Yes!" It made us feel so relaxed and thus helped the photos come out even better! She really knew what she was doing in terms of lighting and setting up a great shot. Guests of the wedding and our bridal party were all commenting on what a wonderful photographer she is. We couldn't be any more happy with her work. She is a true artist. -

We can't recommend Janelle enough! She was so great to work with throughout the whole process which made our engagement and wedding so much less stressful while planning. She recommended a beautiful mansion for our engagement photos and even though it was raining, we had an absolute blast taking our photos that turned out amazing. Janelle was always responsive when I asked for help finding hair/makeup and a videographer which was so helpful. To top it off- our wedding photos turned out BEAUTIFUL and the turnaround was so quick. She was so much fun to work with and captured more than we could have imagined! -

My fiancé and I booked Janelle for our engagement session, and we are so glad we did! She got back to us in a very timely manner and was able to get us in sooner than we expected! The day of our shoot, Janelle made it one to remember. We had so much fun! We got our photos back in a week, which was amazing! We are still astonished by the pictures and we cannot say enough good things about her. Highly recommend! -

If I could give Janelle a million stars I would. I the first time I experienced working with Janelle was when I was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding. She works in a way that puts you at such ease. She doesn't have you posing for long periods, or doing awkward "typical" shots. But, when you go look at the photos, what she has captured is amazing. I did not want a photographer that put you in the same poses that he/she uses in every wedding. So after working with her on that occasion, I knew I had to have her photograph my wedding. Her photos tell the story of the day, and she has a way of capturing moments that bring you back to that moment in time. At our final meeting before the wedding, Janelle asked me if there were special photos or poses that I wanted her to incorporate. I told her no. She was the artist, photographer, and professional. I wanted her to do whatever she wanted on our wedding day, because I knew the result would be perfect. AND THEY WERE!
I find myself looking at my wedding photos and feeling the laughs, smiles, or tears that were felt in the exact minute that Janelle took the photograph.

I can't say enough amazing things about Janelle and the beautiful pictures she took on our day!! Janelle and I communicated throughout the entire planning process but we didn't meet until our wedding day. She was so easy and fun to work with- as if we were longtime friends!! It's hard for us to put into words how happy we are that Janelle was part of our wedding day. Janelle was the first person we booked, and we NEVER worried if we made the wrong decision. On top of her absolutely gorgeous work that we fell in love with, we were able to see her business grow day by day with a curated Instagram feed, website and logo updates, and a Kleinfeld deal to name a few. She is constantly thinking of ways to improve her customer's experience. For example, she purchased a mirrorless camera system which allows her to take photos without hearing the shutter click! This small but important detail allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our wedding day without being distracted. Every single person who sees our wedding photos remarks that our incredibly talented and artistic photographer was able to capture the raw emotion of our day, which is all we ever wanted. Beyond that, she is an amazingly warm person with beautiful talent and we feel like we've known her forever. We are so lucky Janelle was the photographer we chose to spend our wedding day with! -

Danielle Sent on 10/04/2018Hiring Janelle as our wedding photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions we made in the entire wedding-planning process. We planned our Lake George, NY wedding from Massachusetts, so I was not all that familiar with the upstate NY area or its vendors, but from our initial e-mail correspondence, I could tell that Janelle was not only extremely talented as a photographer (as evidenced on her blog and online presence!) but was a genuinely upbeat, effervescent, and fun person to interact with and be around. I cannot adequately describe how valuable those qualities were throughout the process. When we had our engagement shoot with her back in May, she put us completely at ease - it felt like we'd known her forever. Months later, at our wedding in September, she captured so many thoughtful, fantastic details of our wedding day, and we are so thrilled with the results. We'll be forever grateful for Janelle and her photos. Do yourself (and your everlasting memories!) a favor and work with Janelle! -
Nicole Sent on 09/24/2018I can't rave about Janelle Rodriguez. Yes, her pictures are amazing and beautiful - don't look staged but still have a formal/romantic feel. But more importantly she is an amazing person to work with and have on your wedding day. She had a friendly, calming air to her the entire day and made everyone feel comfortable. My now husband and his groomsmen are not the biggest fans of taking pictures - but her and her assistant's energy, direction and most importantly, speediness made it a painless process. Janelle was also just a joy to be around the entire day. She went above and beyond the call of duty, assisting even when it had nothing to do with pictures and everything to do with coordinating my friends and family or getting me a necessary glass of champagne. Before the day, Janelle was responsive, helpful and so easy to work with. I can't recommend her more highly - working with her was truly a highlight of the day. And if that's not enough, she an amazingly talented photographer and our pictures turned out fabulous! As someone who didn't know exactly what she wanted for pictures, she was able to take what little direction I gave and come up with pinterest worthy pics that are absolutely to die for.

I contacted her about four months before I proposed to see if she would be able to do a surprise engagement shoot and capture my now-fiancee's reaction to the proposal. Janelle loved the idea, and was so excited to set everything up. She captured the moment it happened, and then we had an impromptu engagement photo shoot right there!
Janelle's services are absolutely worth every penny, and we couldn't have been more ecstatic to have her as our photographer! -

We met up with Janelle for a quick coffee meeting that turned into an hour coffee date. It felt like sitting down with a friend. That feeling never left, through the planning process, our engagement shoot and our whole wedding day. We were planning our Deansboro wedding from New Jersey, Janelle helped ease our minds and set up everything we needed. When our engagement shoot needed a quick reschedule due to rain, it was no problem. All of our photos came out perfectly, it is hard to choose our favorites. I would recommend Janelle to anyone for any style event. She was so much fun to work with and handled our crazy bridal party with ease! -

Everything happened so fast during the wedding that it was all a blur for me, but thankfully Janelle was there to capture so many great moments. She's incredible, very easy going, and is extremely natural at what she does.. She was never in your face, in your way, or caused any inconvenience for us or anyone at the wedding. I don't even remember seeing her at all during our ceremony!! My husband is very camera shy, but when I went through our photos after the wedding, you'd never be able to tell. She knew how to pose us and to direct us to make us look comfortable and beautiful at the same time. Anyone and everyone who has seen the photos has been beyond impressed. I am immensely thankful to Janelle for her talents and her ease.
