    We hired Jana to shoot our wedding and engagement photos for our wedding in June 2015 based on her amazing wedding wire reviews and after stalking her blog. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! She, and her assistant Vivian, were on time, easy to get ahold of, gave great directions (we aren't models!), and took the MOST BEAUTIFUL photos we've ever seen! There was an incredibly quick turnaround and we got over 900 beautifully edited images of every detail and memory of our big day. Her experience, as well as her extremely warm and outgoing personality, made us and our family/bridal party feel so comfortable, which resulted in genuine and natural photographs. I recommend her to every single person I know with a wedding/engagement in the future!

    Jana was more like a friend than a wedding vendor :) She made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun shooting with her on our wedding day! Our engagement photos were so beautiful and even though I have not seen all of our wedding photos yet...the ones I HAVE seen, are breathtaking. THANK YOU JANA!!

    MY WIFE AND I HAD OUR WEDDING PICTURES DONE BY JANA WILLIAMS PHOTOGRAPHY. THEY TURNED OUT PERFECT! THE LADY TAKING THE PICTURES HAD US DO ALL KINDS OF POSES, THAT MADE FOR BEAUTIFUL PICTURES. SHE DID A WONERFUL JOB, AND JUST WANT TO SAY THANKS TO HER. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT HAVING SOME PICTURES MADE CHECK OUT THEM FIRST!!!!

    Jana Williams Photography did an outstanding job in all fields. She talked us through each shot and went over and beyond any expectation I had for her. I will definintly recommend her for any occassion that a photographer is in need for. She is very professional but also very fun. She also delivers amazing photographs that you are sure to treasure for the rest of your life! Two thumbs up for Jana Williams!

    Jana was amazing and definitely helped make our wedding day more pleasant. She was easy to work with and very flexible. We were running behind schedule because the hair and makeup person was almost 2 hours late, but she and the second shooter, Vivian improvised and changed the shots to accommodate for it.

    Prior to & after the wedding Jana has always been very responsive to all of our emails and addressed all of our questions and concerns. She is very professional, extremely talented and so easy to work with. We would definitely recommend her.

    Jana is an incredible photographer! I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin in front of a lens than I was with her. She has a way of understanding what you want, what you're comfortable with, while also bringing in new ideas of her own (which, by the way, ended up being my favorite photographs in the end :). Jana is a truly beautiful person on the inside and outside, and couldn't have asked for a better photographer.

    As a wedding planner it is of the utmost importance that I 100% trust the vendors I recommend - that id definitely the case with Janna Williams Photography. When I recommend Jana to my clients (which I ALWAYS do) I know they are going to not only be thrilled with their photos but with their overall experience as well.     Jana was the photographer at our friends' wedding and it was very clear from the beginning how great of an eye she had. Not only was she professional and thoughtful, she just seemed to be able to capture perfect little moments without any hesitation.

    I would highly recommend Jana Williams Photography and can't wait to have her take maternity photos of my wife!

    5 out 5 - are you thinking to yourself "this is too good to be true?" Or perhaps "this review has got to be from this photographer's friend or relative." Ha - I don't blame you. Before having met Jana, I would've been skeptical too; especially since these days, photographers seem like a dime a dozen - especially in LA - and reviews are such easy things to write, say as a favor for a good friend. But the review you are about to read is strictly written from a client perspective - a very satisfied client at that. And what I'm about to share with you is a long hidden secret - a gem in the world of photography - Jana Williams.

    My husband and I just got married on August 20th, 2011 and Jana was our lead photog. She was exceptional. Her passion for photography is probably the first thing you will notice (well, after you get over her gorgeous smile that is) - and her dedication to creating the most perfect shots was inspiring. I met with Jana twice before our wedding - she was super-flexible with our meeting times and very accessible via email. I promised her a dream board of shots that I liked but when things got a little hectic in that final week before our wedding and I hadn't sent it to her; she took the initiative to contact me to remind me to send them. Many photogs wouldn't have done that and would have just taken shots that they personally liked. (Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a photog's vision - especially since they are the pros. But I also like a pro that listens to what I like too - and then produces for me an end product that is a combination of both of our visions). I appreciated Jana's initiative and her respect for what I wanted. To add more kudos to her availability and flexibility, shortly after our wedding, we needed some shots for publishing purposes, when I contacted Jana, she responded to me with what I needed in the same day! I was very impressed. Now, almost a month after the wedding, I’m looking for a few more shots for some additional publishing needs and once again, she is still on the same response schedule – right away. She’s definitely not one of those vendors that bids “adieu” to you as soon as the wedding is over and you have paid their fee. She’s extremely helpful and always very responsive despite her demanding travel schedule. It made, and continues to make us feel, important as clients.

    I would say that one of Jana's best assets is her beautiful personality - it's so bright, bubbly and happy - it's infectious. She has this way of making you (and even your most camera shy or anti-camera family and friends) feel at ease (and even coming out of their shells) - it's fantastic. Then, there's her professionalism. The second Jana gets behind the lens, it's game time and she's all business. Still super sweet, she’s focused on getting the right shots from all angles and in all the right kinds of light. She's not afraid to take control to get the shots she wants – while still being super polite to all other vendors she has to work with (for us, it was our videographers). And a big plus - she makes you feel like a star when she's shooting you. Jana’s dedication and professionalism made me feel comfortable on two fronts - relaxed so I could look good for the camera during one of the single most important days my life and also, I was without a doubt that Jana was capturing all the best shots for us of our special day. I didn’t have to baby-sit. For a serious control-freak like me, that kind of comfort is a level of trust that is priceless. Jana was able to provide that for us.

    And at the risk of making this review any longer, I have to add that Jana's cool and collected attitude despite all the chaos that can be a wedding - made me feel so much calmer. We were running a bit behind schedule that day (due to events unrelated to photography) and normally, I would've completely been impatient and in a rush, but Jana's coolness kept me completely distracted and very relaxed. Again, priceless.

    In terms of her quality of work, I’m going to keep this mention short because if you've already visited her site - I'm sure you’ve already concluded that her work is simply gorgeous. And if you haven’t seen samples of her work yet – go take a gander at her site pronto. Her work has already been published on several popular wedding blogs! The teaser shots that we've received of our wedding have been breathtaking - and in the words of many Facebook & Instagram friends - "beautiful," "gorgeous," "amazing, and (my favorite) "dreamy." I can't wait to see the rest of our wedding collection. Hands-down – both my husband and I love her work.

    To conclude this review, I have to mention that through the two years that we were engaged, we must have looked up and researched at least 60 photographers. We had very high standards for the photographer that we were going to hire for our wedding. Reading all the couples' reviews, then interviewing and meeting with at least 25 of the photographers who we thought met our standards – all this before meeting Jana. So I know how mind-numbing and tiring (and often frustrating) this process can be – tediously reading all the reviews (god-forbid a photographer having mixed reviews) and taking the time to see which one works best for the quality that you want and your budget. I hope that my review, though long, has served to at least show you that Jana is worth looking into and perhaps even contacting for a meet with her. I don't think you’ll be disappointed. She is a creative genius in {wedding} photography, and her visions through her work are absolutely fabulous. Despite that fact that many of our friends are professional photographers, since meeting Jana, she is now my resident go-to photographer.

    I leave you with this: be sure you don’t settle – find the photographer that is a good, if not perfect, fit for you guys. For us, our perfect fit was Jana. Good luck!

    Jana is an AMAZING photographer and SUCH a joy to work with. You instantly feel like you are hanging out with your best friend and that comes through in her photos. She makes everyone around her feel comfortable, beautiful and inspired and manages to catch moments that you might otherwise have missed. She captured the light and love of the day and I would recommend her to anyone who wants gorgeous, radiant photos that will make you wish you could do it all over again. -Amber

    I would honestly recommend Jana Williams to anyone!! She is a true artist and a visionary. She really worked with me in the days approaching the wedding to know exactly what I wanted, and was so thorough in her approach that I could actually relax on the big day knowing I would get a beautiful product-- and I did!! The pictures are GORGEOUS: cinematic, whimsical and effortless. There's so much to worry about on your day that you can miss how beautiful and magical everything really is; going back over Jana's proofs I was stunned by the magic she had captured!! My wedding is perfectly preserved in art!!!

    Jana is rad! She shot my boudoir photos, this girl definitely knows her stuff. Her direction was amazing. I never felt awkward in not knowing what to do or how to be. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and knew how to capture a woman's body through the lens. I couldn't be happier with my photos! I would highly recommend her, she just gets it!

    I am not comfortable in front of the camera. I feel stiff and usually pull a strange face. Shooting with Jana is different. She always has great ideas for her shoots. She knows how to get me to that I loosen up and as a result I get great pictures. Jana is very creative and has an awesome eye. She has shot me a lot over the last couple of years and I have used her photos to promote my business and even felt comfortable enough with her that I bared it a bit with her boudoir photography. She is hard working, professional and dedicated to her craft.

    As a wedding coordinator I come into contact with many photographers but Jana is in a league of her own. She documented the evening with beautiful photos and really captured all of the emotions that made this wedding special. Jana was a pleasure to work with (coordinators love a photographer that can get all the right shots AND still stick to the timeline) and I would reccomend her to any Bride!

    I recently did a boudoir shoot with Jana as a surprise for my husband. Oh my gosh- it was amazing. The photos are gorgeous. and my husband was totally in love! Jana made me feel totally comfortable, her attitude was awesome and upbeat. I can't believe how beautiful and sexy I look in these shots!!

    When we met Jana we knew right away that she was the one we wanted to take our pictures. Having met with several other photographers we were happy to finally find one with a genuine interest in us and our day and not just listened to us but understood our vision. She put us at ease and we knew we would be in great hands! She was an amazing and creative soul to work with and we cannot thank her enough! The pictures were so thoughtful and unique! She captured moments we hadn't realized had happened and every picture we looked at that took made us smile even more! She was never intrusive but always there if we needed her. You can really tell that Jana loves what she does and that is so refreshing. We would recommended her without any hesitation!

    Let me start off by saying that Jana is amazing! She shot my boudoir pictures and made what, I imagined to be a really uncomfortable experience such a blast!!! She made it super fun and she was completely nonjudgmental which enabled me to loosen up and really be myself - resulting in some phenomenal pictures. She's one of a kind for sure!!!

    Jana was such an asset to my whole wedding experience. She was extremely responsive and became a friend right off the bat. I knew I wanted her as my wedding photographer not only because her work is amazing (photojournalistic and editorial) and exactly what I was looking for but because Jana is a girl I would totally wanna hang out with She is so cool!! And believe me ladies you spend alot of time with your photographer so pick someone you really like and trust. I knew I wanted a woman as my main photographer because I wanted to feel comfortable while I was getting ready ect.
    At the end of the day I gained amazing wedding photos and a new friend :) my wedding was in June and I have had dinner with Jana and her husband Dave twice since then. They are two of the coolest most down to earth people I have ever meet! Call her!!

    Jana is phenomenal in her talent and professionalism. She is a very gifted artist and a wonderful and beautiful soul to be around. And let me tell you, you need all of that on your special day. She brought out my inner confidence, ease and grace for the photos. I am still stunned by how she captured the light and the magic of the moments. My parents were delighted as well and that meant so much to me and the comments that I have about her work on my facebook page from friends and family members are very endless in their praise and awe. People go on and on and on about how extraordinary her work is.     Jana shot our engagement photos recently and we were AMAZED by them. Not only is Jana professional and comfortable to be around...she delivers a end product that is to die for.
