We’ve had the pleasure of working together on several South Asian weddings, and he is always an absolute professional. Jamie is the best photographer we have ever worked with. He is a true professional and his photos are amazing!! We booked him for a photo shoot for Valentine’s Day and they came back amazing! Hire Jamie!

Jamie captured our wedding day exceptionally. He is a professional through and through and we were grateful to have his calm presence as we moved through wedding activities.

Jamie has had the challenge of photographing not only my wedding, but also both my older brother's weddings in 2014 and 2018. We are all really different people with varying expectations and Jamie has more than delivered for all of us! We joke that he is now stuck with being the family photographer.

Jamie's photography style is striking and captures so much. Couldn't imagine anyone else being in charge of capturing the day for us! He is versatile, knowledgeable and excellent to work with. He was accommodating of specific photo requests, and knew when something wouldn't look right or could be improved. He moved through post-ceremony family portraits quickly and with ease which was a huge blessing given we were on a tight schedule. I highly recommend utilizing Jamie Howell Photography for you wedding/engagement/family portraits/events - any photography needs! We will cherish our pictures forever.

Edit- I forgot to mention that Jamie encouraged us into having a "first look." We weren't planning to originally and I'm so glad he changed our minds! The pictures are INCREDIBLE but the quiet, intimate moments before the ceremony were even better.

Consummate Professional Wedding Photographer

I hired Jamie to be our wedding photographer on the recommendation of my wedding planner, and he delivered. In deciding to choose him, he provided samples of his work in which the quality and artistry in his photographs were evident - and he wasn't cherry picking the albums to show me either, they were just the most recent 2 he shot.

Come the day of the wedding we were dealing with rain, and so we weren't sure how the photos would turn out. He managed the time very well and managed to get us outside in a pocket of time the rain let up to get some fabulous photos. He was never in the way, had his own suggestions and was generous in taking photos you suggest - never pushy but he has a good eye, so let the man do his work.

His gear is impressive and you can tell he takes his craft very seriously. Low lighting isn't an issue for him, as he makes sure to setup and test shots to get the best picture quality while you're busy doing ceremony/wedding stuff.

The turnaround was stupid fast and his retouching of the photos not oversaturated like other photographers. Overall, couldn't have had a better experience working with Jamie, and he perfectly captured our magical night.

We have trusted Jamie with some of the most important moments in our lives throughout the years. Since taking our engagement photos Jamie has also captured my bridal portraits, our wedding, our first wedding anniversary, maternity photos, and several family sessions since the birth of our son. We live 2.5 hours away from Atlanta but continue to choose Jamie for all of our major moments because the photos are stunning, Jamie is incredibly easy to work with, and we've never been disappointed by a single photo. Six years after our wedding I still have people complement our photos and ask about our photographer. I'm grateful that we found a photographer who consistently delivers high quality beautiful photos that never feel cheesy or staged. Let's break with the suspense and get straight to the point... We strongly and enthusiastically recommend Jamie Howell Photography! From beginning to end and beyond, our experience with Jamie was exemplary. Upon meeting with him we immediately connected, and more importantly, we were confident that Jamie understood exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. We hired him on the spot.

Jamie worked tirelessly to capture every important moment for us in our engagement photos and our two-day wedding celebration consisting of a traditional Nigerian celebration followed the next day by an American white wedding. He was always positive, easy to work with, and most importantly he consistently captured the magic in his photos. When we showed up at our engagement photo session in Piedmont Park at 7am on a brisk March Sunday morning, he didn't even flinch as we approached him with two large suitcases to accommodate our wardrobe changes, though we all laughed about it later. At our two-day wedding celebration he worked tirelessly to capture hundreds of amazing photographs late into the night Friday night, and resuming bright and early Saturday morning until late Saturday night. He went above and beyond by every measure, and the results were breathtaking. He exceeded our every expectation.

We also purchased a pretty extensive package of wedding photo albums from Jamie comprising all the events of our wedding weekend, with multiple copies for multiple family members. Jamie worked meticulously with us to select and arrange the photos for each of these books, always remaining patient despite our prolonged and sometimes extremely slow responsiveness. The finished products were breathtaking.

We can't say enough good things about Jamie Howell and Jamie Howell Photography. Need a wedding photographer? No need to look any further. If you want the best, Jamie Howell is your man!

After searching tirelessly for a wedding photographer we finally found what we were looking for in Jamie. His work stood out by a mile and we knew instantly that we had to hire him. All our memories from the wedding day have been captured perfectly from start to finish. Jamie's unique use of light and gorgeous tones make our wedding look like a beautifully shot movie in which all our guests feature as glamorous Hollywood stars.

We felt that Jamie really made the effort to get to know us and ensured that the photos of our wedding reflected our personalities which offered a really nice personal touch.

Jamie is a great guy to have as part of your special day and is clearly so passionate about what he does. His friendly disposition, energy and undeniable sense of fun allowed us to completely relax in his company and be our true selves in front of the lens.

We loved working with Jamie. We had a fairly complicated (separate Hindu and Christian ceremonies and a reception in 1 day) and long wedding day and Jamie and his crew were there from start to finish. Jamie did a great job throughout the day of coordinating the extensive family photos we needed as well as making time for us to get some great couple shots. He’s extremely professional and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We got our photos back really quickly after the wedding and he is always extremely prompt in responding to any questions. We’d recommend Jamie to anyone, especially for multi-cultural weddings.

Jamie produced some very beautiful pictures for both the engagement and wedding day. Our family are very picky when it comes to pictures, and even they were wow'ed at how beautiful all of them turned out. For the engagement we were especially impressed with the way he chose the perfect time of day to use the sun and lighting to his advantage to produce pictures that played with the beautiful fall colors and capture the rays of the sun and scenery to evoke emotion and natural beauty. For the wedding pictures he was able to work with the lighting in the hotel rooms, the sunny day, and the in door lighting to produce great pictures, though I will say his outside pictures are my favorite. It is also helpful if you give him suggestions and ideas of your style and what you would like your photos to turn out. Jamie was to the minute punctual for both engagement shoot and wedding. His turn around time was lighting fast, about a week and a half. His temperment cool and collected.

Jamie is the best photographer out there! He went above and beyond. We had to reschedule our engagement photoshoot due to weather and he was very flexible. Jamie is such a talented and responsible photographer and we are very lucky to have him as our main photographer at our destination wedding on St John. Jamie captured nature very well, wind, water, air all become his friends when it came to photo sessions. He stretched the capability of the lens and carefully selected frames. Jamie shot our entire wedding: the engagement photos, the mehendi party, both ceremonies, and the reception. His shots are beautiful, we have had multiple guests complement them! Jamie was very professional and is clearly very talented. He was also very accommodating and understanding when we ended up being behind on our day-of timeline.

I would absolutely consider hiring Jamie, especially if you have a nice scenic location, as his shots are very artistic and unique. We liked that we were able to refer to some of his prior work from his blog and get similar shots for our engagement session; I learned that it is helpful to communicate ideas for shots/poses you like and that way he can help to re-create them with you.

Jamie was a pleasure to work with from planning to execution! He made the process seamless and was so easy to work with given we had multiple events at multiple venues. Jamie gave us exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. Our pictures were absolutely amazing and PERFECT! He was able to meet with us several times before the wedding and was super quick to respond to emails and questions. The wedding day he was on time, professional, and got every picture we wanted. After the wedding he returned our pictures with in two weeks and we saw teasers the next day on facebook! We were also able to design our wedding book through him. We prioritized having a high-quality, professional photographer, since we'll be looking at the photos for a lifetime. After considering dozens of options, we decided to work with Jamie due to his beautiful photography and very reasonable pricing.

We are so glad that we chose him; he has qualities of a good photographer that we didn't even realize we needed. He is extremely flexible, accommodating, and quick to reply to emails and texts. When we met with him for a consultation, he was very professional and did not push his service/products on us. He lets his work speak for itself rather than act like a pushy salesman. Also, he sent our edited wedding photos to us even before we returned from our honeymoon!

You would be hard-pressed to find his quality of work for the price. We HIGHLY recommended Jamie for your photography needs.

Jamie is an amazing photographer!! We did our engagement pictures at Hopeland Gardens earlier in the year and they turned out amazing! On our wedding day he took pictures while we were getting ready and you did not even know he was there! At the wedding Jamie had another photographer that was able to take pictures during the cocktail hour while we were doing our formal pictures and they all turned out great! We have received numerous compliments on how amazing our wedding pictures are! He did an amazing job and I could not have asked for a better photographer.

Jamie photographed my wedding this past June, and the pictures
turned out so well! He was very approachable and professional when I first contacted him about photographing my wedding. He met my fiancé and I and showed us lots of his work and explained his approach. He answered our questions and had some very helpful advice about how to prepare so we get all the photos we want.

After that initial meeting, in the months preparing for the wedding, Jamie made life much easier for me by being quick to respond to any of my questions. Of course, his professionalism and experience mattered most on the day of the wedding... and he did an excellent job taking charge and making sure we got all the pictures we wanted as quickly as possible (our church was strict about the time available). We are so happy with the results!

Jamie did a wonderful job capturing not only the formal photographs we wanted, but also many of the smaller, important personal moments that happened at the wedding and reception. Honestly, we would have missed many of those special moments without him. At the end of the day, our photographs turned out even better than we had imagined! Jamie got them to us even faster than he had promised and provided us with digital copies too. We are so thankful we will be able to remember our wedding so perfectly, and that we have such lovely photos to share with our friends, family, and one day hopefully children and grandchildren!

I can't brag enough on Jamie! From the beginning to the end he did an amazing job! Jamie takes beautiful timeless pictures and is incredible reasonable with prices! He offers a la carte options too such as the photo booth! This is a must have at a wedding! All my guest had a blast in the photobooth! Jamie even brings the props so you don't have to worry about anything!
Jamie did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and confident! He always worked around my schedule if we needed to met or discuss anything. I probably emailed the poor guy 5 times changing the start time for pictures on the wedding day and he agreed to whatever i wanted! My family and friends still brag about how the pictures turned out. I know that when i look back thirty years from now the pictures will still look classic. I even hate myself in outside pictures but not the ones he took! They were stunning. Jamie is a fantastic photographer! The way he captures color, the scenery and the moments is truly unique. You also won't even know he is there photographing you and is not bothersome with a ton of posey pictures. He does take great posey picture too though in which I got a great variety of posey and candid shot of our wedding. He is very professional and very fast at getting your photos to you. Jamie is very professional, friendly and an amazing photographer we could have. He did our engagement photo shoot during the Christmas night light show at Atlanta botanical gardens, which was great experience and the pictures came out stunning. Jamie Howell did engagement and wedding photography for my husband and me. I was amazed by his punctuality, communication skills and the ability to cater to each couple. He's awesome at what he does. At first meet, we sat down and talked about what we envisioned for our engagement and wedding photos and he helped us meet our needs by being honest and not wasting any of our time. He didn't have to "upsell" us on any products because his work speaks for itself.

He has a real talent for catching wonderful action shots and candid moments. We have so many of those from our wedding and all we could think was "WHEN DID HE TAKE THIS PHOTO???". He is the kind of person you do not have to micromanage. All you need to do is give Jamie what he needs, and he will do the rest. In terms of professionalism, he always finds the way to speak to guests, members of the wedding party and anyone else with the utmost respect. I have to personally give him credit for this because you will often find people at your wedding taking pictures, or in the way of the photographer you're actually paying.

I would recommend Jamie Howell Photography to anyone who wants the best still photos of their engagement session or wedding. People often get intimidated by the prices, but once the big day is over, you want to be left with the best memories possible. In fact, Jamie takes so much pride in his work, you may find yourself with the originals from your wedding before you're able to be tagged in cell phone photos on social media.

I chose Jamie as my wedding photographer after an extensive search on the web. I used wedding websites and talked to other photographers for their recommendations. I went to Jamie's website and saw the great pictures he posted of his work. They were fun, candid, and done beautifully. My now husband and I met with Jamie before making a decision and though we were both nervous, I mean this is a big deal, Jamie made us feel comfortable. He is competent, personable, and definitely worth the money. We did our engagement session, my bridal session, and the full wedding with Jamie. We received three beautiful DVDs in custom-designed cases and a custom wedding album all in a timely fashion. I am so glad that we chose Jamie because I look at my pictures and relive my wedding over and over again. I feel the happiness and joy each time because the photos perfectly capture that day. I would highly recommend Jamie. He is worth it.

The first thing my husband and I were trying to keep in mind about our wedding was that it was going to be a traditional Indian/Pakistani Muslim wedding consisting of multiple days/events (5). After researching, reading reviews, and setting up various meetings, we finally came down to the conclusion of our two top picks of Atlanta based wedding photographers. I was so torn between Jamie and another photographer that I had been researching on. What was my breaking point? As I compared Jamie’s images with the other photographer, I just could not fail to notice the extreme sharp, clean, vibrant, timeless and professional looking images Jamie was producing compared to the other. After getting opinions from many friends and family members and their immediate positive response to Jamie’s images, Jamie Howell Photography had broken the tie and we signed the contract! A few great things I want to point out about Jamie are that he is flexible and prompt. Flexible because he met meet at my work location twice prior to the contract as well as at the mosque that the wedding was going to be held and prompt because he was always SO quick with his email responses, proofs, and final products. Hence, he had taken over 5,000-6,000 pictures with the 5 events he shot for our wedding. So he sorted all the good from the bad shots and got what we wanted/needed in no time! Overall, I am in LOVE with my wedding portraits. We have received endless compliments on our wedding photos and multiple people have phrased the “photographer” for capturing our Indian/Pakistani wedding. Jamie’s work from our wedding was chosen to be featured on a very popular Indian Wedding Blog (Maharani Weddings), how cool is that?! So no matter what type of wedding you are having, just know that if you choose Jamie Howell as your wedding photographer, you are sure to get timeless pictures that look beyond professional. Jamie was PHENOMENAL! He is a very professional photographer. He made it a priority to address our needs and concerns. Whether setting up meetings or shooting emails back and forth, he was always willing.

Besides being professional, Jamie takes incredible shots. He seems to know how to capture just the right emotions, at just right time, in just the right light. My husband and I initially, booked Jamie for our engagement photo session. Jamie was very professional throughout the entire process. He was prompt and gave great suggestions as to places we can go and poses that we should use for the shoot. Our pictures turned out so amazing we decided to book him for our wedding day. Jamie and I communicated through email and telephone. Each time I had a question, he responded immediately. On the day of our wedding, Jamie captured every detail, from the “first look” pre-wedding photo session all the way through until the end of the reception. He truly has a remarkable eye for detail and lighting which sets him apart from any photographer I know. Following the wedding, Jamie had our pictures ready in a timely fashion. We used Jamie for all of our wedding day photos, and were beyond pleased with the level of professionalism and flexibility we received. He was available to answer questions at any given time before the wedding, and on the day of kept up with us and our busy wedding party and guests. The turnaround time was truly what he said it would be and the product is simply AMAZING! Our wedding album is something we will cherish forever and likely pass on to our children. We used Jamie for our eloping pictures and have only good things to say about him. From the beginning he was very accommodating. We had to reschedule the day because of rain and he was very flexible with us. On the day of, Jamie let our personalties come out in the pictures. We took pictures in several locations in Piedmont Park. We received our edited pictures in just a few days and we were blown away. The pictures were so beautiful and vibrant. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jamie Howell. Jamie & Trent Chau shot our wedding on September 2, 2012 at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, GA. My husband and I are from Savannah so having the wedding 8 hours from Savannah most definitely made it a “destination wedding" so all of our vendors we chose through reading reviews, ect. After reading Jamie's reviews, conversing through email (he responds very quickly), and of course loving Jamie's work we decided to go on a limb and book him. We met him a few months prior to the wedding where he showed us some of his bridal books, and some of his other work....we knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day Jamie & Trent arrived on time, and got wonderful shots! During the ceremony we did not even know they were there....at the reception they got some great shots of our guests. Trent took my husband and I onto the golf course at sunset where we got some amazing pictures. Did I mention when we arrived home from our honeymoon about 2 days later arrived our fully edited wedding DVD with our printing copyrights, and not long after that came a proof via email of our bridal book....(You will be ANXIOUS to get these in a timely manner....believe me...so this was PERFECT) Jamie is more about capturing the moment versus posing. If you are having doubts....DON'T. I can promise you that you will be pleased!!

Let me just start off by saying I could write a book about how wonderful our experience with Jamie Howell Photography was, but I'll attempt to be concise. Within days of our engagement we began searching for wedding photographers because to us, that was the most important part of our wedding. The first day we decided to look into photography we must have spent at least 5 hours scouring the internet. What we noticed were (1) a bunch of staged group shots (2) a ridiculous amount of shots where the photographer held the camera sideways (3) photos of the bride where the white of her dress was so washed out you couldn't see the details and (4) just "okay" photos. Then we found Jamie and we were blown away. His photos captured real emotion, you could see the details of the brides dress, and the lighting he captured in his photos was amazing. Our wedding was two years away but after seeing his website we immediately contacted him to schedule our engagement photos, when we got the photos two days later we fell in love with them. We immediately followed up with Jamie about his availability during the month of April and PICKED OUR WEDDING DATE BASED ON HIS AVAILABILITY. In my opinion, when I couple bases their wedding date around a photographer that speaks for itself.

Bridal portraits weren't in the budget, but I knew I wanted Jamie to do them, so my grandmother decided to pay for Jamie to come to Augusta, GA and do my portraits as a wedding gift. Again, the photos were AMAZING. Everyone was in awe when they saw them and I can't tell you how many times someone has told me my portraits look like they belong in a bridal magazine (and they might just be in the local bridal magazine this fall).

Our wedding went perfectly and Jamie captured the most amazing moments on camera. I still love to go back to look through them. There's not a thing I would change about our wedding photos. We were more than satisfied with our photos and couldn't be happier that we chose Jamie to handle our wedding.

In summary: Jamie Howell is nothing short of an amazing photographer. You won't get cheesy photos that are going to be dated in 5 years, you'll get beautiful pictures capturing the best moments of your wedding day that you will cherish for a lifetime. If you want the best photography for the biggest day of your life, I strongly recommend Jamie Howell.

When we first started planning our wedding, we knew that good photography was one of our top priorities - after all, the pictures serve as memories long after the actual wedding day is over. We were very impressed with Jamie’s website/blog, and we decided to book him for an October engagement shoot and our June wedding. It was the best decision we made. Jamie and I communicated primarily through email, and he always responded in a prompt and informative fashion, answering all of our questions and often offering recommendations. On the actual wedding day, he was the busiest person at the venue - he meticulously and professionally documented the entire celebration, from the ladies getting ready pre-ceremony to the exit at the end of the reception. The final results were magnificent. Jamie got our pictures to us quickly (no waiting six weeks!), and we were amazed by the detail and quality of the shots. Besides producing beautifully composed pictures, Jamie’s photojournalistic style unfolded in a narrative, telling the story of our celebration: all of the important people, the once-in-a-lifetime moments, the unexpected moments, the flowers, the setting, the facial expressions - everything! Friends and family have been breathlessly impressed, calling the pictures “amazing” and “stunning.” I absolutely agree. Without a moment of hesitation, I would recommend Jamie to anyone looking for high-quality, creative wedding photography.

Finding the right photographer for our wedding was really important to us. We really wanted a photojournalistic style to tell the story of our day since we had family members that were not going to be able to travel for the wedding. We researched several photographers and actually had just paid our deposit for another photographer when he backed out on us. With time ticking to find someone in our budget, I happened upon Jamie Howell’s website and were really drawn to his style. We set up a meeting with him and were really impressed with how professional he was and the different package types that he offered. We had engagement photos done at our wedding location, which was a great way to scope out the area before the wedding. We love having the more casual shots in a place that is so special to us now. During the wedding, we were really impressed with how Jamie was able to control all of the family members so we could get the quick family photos and stay on schedule- even though he had laryngitis. My friend found Jamie Howell's website while she was looking for the perfect wedding photographer for me. She sent me his website link and I was blown away by his photography. My fiance (at the time) and I immediately arranged a meeting with Jamie and we booked him to be our photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding. Our engagement shoot was wonderful! He had so many brilliant and fresh ideas. It was a pretty cold day out but he got some really amazing shots. It was well worth the 2 hours in the cold. Leading up to the wedding day, Jamie and I kept in touch and communicated via email & text. He was very quick to respond to my questions and trust me, I had TONS of questions :-) He always reassured me that he will make our pictures look great and to not worry about things. He was right! On our wedding day, he arrived at the venue very early to scope out the location. He took LOTS of pictures on our wedding day. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty and creativity of the photography and our guests raved about our pictures. Jamie is a very talented photographer and he is easy to work with. I really like the fact that his packages include the rights to your pictures; which a lot of photographers don't offer unless you pay extra. Jamie is simply the BEST!

After cold calling, and contacting referrals looking for an affordable photographer for our June 2010 wedding, another photographer I had contacted actually referred me to Jamie, and boy am I grateful for that! Very professional and courteous. Jamie was always on time for each shoot and answered any emails or phone calls promptly. He was willing to help us customize a package that worked for us. Jamie was absolutely amazing! From the first time I emailed him, he always emailed back promptly and was very helpful in his responses. He met with us before we booked him and showed us some very impressive albums. He is easy to work with; during the engagement session he made us comfortable in front the camera, which then carried over to our wedding. Jamie, his second shooter, and his assistant were all very personable and professional. Our family and friends even commented on it. And of course his photos are just incredible. I can't say enough about how great the pictures are. Not only that, but the turnaround time is so short! Photos from both sessions were delivered to us within 2 weeks!

Jamie Howell is AMAZING! He has such great prices, and AMAZING TALENT! He listens to what you want, what you can afford, what pictures you want taken. He doesn't care where you live, he will drive to YOU! He was ALWAYS early to our engagement and bridal sessions. The turn-around time on photos were not even 2 days! His eye can capture amazing moments that you'll cherish forever! I didn't even see Jamie during the wedding, he was invisible! When I received the pictures, I was like "OMG! He got that photo? I didn't even see him around me!" He will capture EVERY memory you make on your BIG DAY! I got back from my honeymoon and there were the pictures, already finished and sent to me! Jamie covered our engagement photos and wedding at the Trolley Barn and the pictures were fantastic. Jamie is a true artist and while you are shooting with him you can literally see his brain working as he scans the scenery to come up with the best shots. The both photo sets were incredible and I would highly recommend his services. He was always early to our meetings, very professional and super quick with returning the photos. I know friends waited months to get their photos back from photographers but Jamie had them ready the day after we got back from the honeymoon. He has a real knack for taking ordinary surroundings and turning them into awesome photography.

Jamie was great - I would say he is one of the best choices I made in planning our wedding! He was easy to work with, had great suggestions, but also let me take charge, and he took amazing photos. We were so happy with how they turned out. I wanted someone who would capture all of the moments of the day, and he did just that. He was extremely professional, and we had our pictures back well before many other photographers.

I generally try to write reviews that include both positive and negative aspects because if I were "vendor shopping" that's what I would want to see - "tell me the truth." But with Jamie, there really are NO negatives to discuss. You won't find a better person for this price!

Our wedding day turned out to be cold and full of sun which was pretty much what I had hoped we wouldn't have so that our photography would be good. But Jamie, despite the odds, did an incredible job. None of our photos had any shadows or unwanted lighting even though most of our pre-wedding photos were outside. But it really was a beautiful day and Jamie and his team did an awesome job at capturing it. Also, at our reception they did a great job of capturing the spirit of the party and how much fun we had. We are so grateful to Jamie and his team for really making the memories of that day so beautiful! We would both HIGHLY recommend Jamie to anyone in search of a photographer.

Jamie was great with our wedding photos! He came and met us for a consultation before we booked him and brought some proofs and completed wedding albums for us to look at which were beautiful. He has packages that he offers, but was VERY flexible with us and helped us create the package we really wanted/needed. We got all of the rights to our pictures, which was really important to us too. We had the proofs back a day or two after we came back from our week-long honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Gorgeous photos, and Jamie was really fun to work with. Totally unobtrusive, but still got all the shots we wanted.

Jamie Howell photographed both of my sisters weddings, and when it came time for me to get married, there was absolutely no question who I would ask to photograph my wedding as well. In all three separate weddings (over a 6 year time span) Jamie took amazing pictures, perfectly capturing the essence of the wedding day. For my wedding, he took both my bridal shots, and photographed the wedding day its self. He was extremely punctual and professional while also creating a fun and laid-back (stress-free) picture taking environment. Jamie accommodated any and all pictures we requested. In addition, he was very creative in capturing the perfect images during our day. Along with the few posed pictures we requested, most of the pictures were candid and causal. He was able to provide an enormous number of photographs, many of which we did not even remember when they were taken, as he was able to do so in a very non-intrusive manner. Jamie provided a very quick turn around when receiving our photos, which eliminated the anxious anticipation. I am 100% satisfied with each and every photo that Jamie took and recommend him to everyone. We could not be more happy with our wedding pictures. Jamie did an exceptional job of capturing our love, happiness, and excitement for the big day. Everyone looks stunning and the colors are phenomenal. We can’t stop going through the photos! There are moments in there that we didn't even know we were being photographed, so the natural shots that he took says a lot about his attention to everything that is going on, and catching it all. The photos of the ceremony are beautiful, and the ones from the photo-shoot that we had before the doors opened for the reception, are out of this world! Jamie Howell was the best! My daughter got married in Augusta, Ga.
Jamie traveled here for bridal portraits and then returned for the wedding.
We used his photo booth services and that was a hoot!
He brought a second photographer with him, Trent, who spent most of his
time with the groomsmen and the photo booth. He was awesome also.
The quality of Jamie's photos is "over the top".

Jamie was my photographer for my wedding in November. He did a phenomenal job!! The quality of his photographs are amazing to say the least, we got so many compliments on our pictures. Jamie was a true professional from the start. He was very responsive to my emails and as an out of state bride he made it easy to meet with him in person to view his portfolio. I was very impressed with his work and glad that I booked him. He showed up on time for my wedding and was there until the very end. He managed to capture the candid moments as well as the quiet moments and he helped create beautiful images that I will have forever. I 100% recommend him if you are looking for a photographer that is not your typical wedding photographer. He really thinks outside of the box, his work is high quality and his pricing is very fair.

I don't even know where to begin because Jamie was BEYOND AMAZING! My husband and I were VERY concerned about picking the right wedding photographer and videographer for our 3 day Hindu/Christian wedding. We cared about quality and price but our mothers had their own list of requirements and they were needy. Prior to finalizing Jamie, we had him provide so many examples of his work and asked him a million questions. He did not skip a beat when going through our screening process.

I felt confident in our decision but as the wedding got closer I was nervous about working with a photographer I hadn't even met. The minute I met Jamie and his crew at the first wedding event, I knew I made the right choice. They were all very personable, professional, respectful, and knowledgeable.

Throughout the stressful 3 days, Jamie and his crew remained calm and composed. They did a great job of sticking the timeline and they had no problem telling me, THE BRIDE, no! Future brides - let me explain that statement. Jamie didn't flat out say no. There were times we were just running too behind schedule and Jamie pulled me aside and said here is the deal. He explained why what I wanted wasn't feasible and offered me options. I truly didn't appreciate this until after the wedding when I looked back on the weekend and realized had I pushed Jamie and them to do some of the things I wanted, we probably would have been WAY off schedule and made a lot of people unhappy.

Post wedding - Jamie kept me updated on when to expect pictures and videos. I got pictures and videos way sooner than I thought. Both were amazing. They were so amazing that my mother and mother in law had NO COMPLAINTS!

Jamie was one of the first vendors that we booked for our May wedding. One our main concerns were the photographs that we would have for the rest of our lives. His website shows absolutely gorgeous photos that incorporate a great deal of color. Jamie responds very quickly and efficiently to all inquiries. We also booked Jamie for an engagement shoot. My then-fiance' and I are not used to photoshoots, so it took us a little bit of time to become comfortable. Jamie takes mainly candid shots, not posed photographs. When we received our pictures back, they were beautiful with lots of color. During the wedding, Jamie focused again on candid shots. This was a little more difficult with a large group of people because we weren't sure what to do with our hands, eyes, etc. It also didn't seem that we took too many pictures of the bridal party and bride/groom. My husband and I were a little concerned that we woulnd't have enough of the pictures we paid for. The only other complaint that my bridal party had is that Jamie seems a little uneasy with picture requests. If you have a list of photographs and poses you would like, I am not sure that he is the photographer to go to. He prefers to be more in the background. That being said, we received the pictures approximately 2 weeks from the wedding. They were absolutely stunning. There were approximately 500 photos overall. Our guests have loved them all so far. I would recommend Jamie if you are okay with letting him take the reigns.

We just love the photos Jamie took of our wedding in March 2010. The photos are all great - from the formal ones at the church to the fun ones of everyone dancing and having a great time at the reception. The only thing that he missed were photos of the tables and floral arrangements from our reception. I did not think to mention that to him but thought I would have some of those along with all of the people shots from the reception. Jamie was very responsive - returned e-mails promptly and we got our CD very quickly after the wedding which was great. Also, we love our wedding album! It turned out great - just beautiful. We've had lots of comments on the photos overall from our friends and family.

I am sorry I had to leave even one star! To say I was DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. This photographer ruined my daughters wedding day with his unwillingness to cooperate, his snobby attitude, and his defiance in taking pictures of what the bride wanted. She specifically asked him to take some pictures of "her as the bride" and her with her "girls" he took two and told her he was done. He was not taking anymore. I have had to now HIRE ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER to take pictures of my daughter in a bridal session because of his unprofessionalism. (after the wedding)
I tried to be optimistic and prayed the pictures would turn out but they are horrible. You cannnot see anyone! He never said he was taking the picture, half of the pics are of people looking away or looking totally unaware of what is going on. NOT WHAT wedding pictures should be! There are more pics of the reception than of the bride, groom and wedding party. You do not see the bride in any of the pictures, you see background.. When she saw them she called me CRYING. Do NOT let your daughters special day be ruined by such an unprofessional. My daughter stated that her wedding was perfect except for the photographer ruining her day! So SAD! #HEARTBROKEN #CAN'TGETTHISDAYBACK
