Island Sound was great to work with. They are very flexiable and accomodating. Frankie was great and worked with our coordiantors to make sure things went smoothly. He stuck to all of our requests, and we and the guests had a great time!

Frankie was our DJ for our wedding and he was great! He really kept the party going and a lot of our guests told us that it was the most fun that they had had at at wedding. I like how Island Sound makes it easy to choose your songs and organize your reception with their online tools. It lets you tell your DJ what songs you want to play and when, what will take place at the reception, what songs you don't want to be played, etc. I'll definitely be recommending them to my friends!

Jason was an outstanding DJ! Jason was professional & always was early to any appointment we had with him. We had a 2pm wedding and a 230pm reception. He had everyone dancing (especially for an afternoon wedding). He brought such an awesome energy to the wedding. A few of our friends are music snobs & they said that Jason did an outstanding job. Our caterer said she'd never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before. He BROUGHT the party. He also did an outstanding job with our uplighting in the venue. I would hire him again in a heart beat.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this company! We hired them after hearing Jason DJ a friends wedding last december! He was GREAT! He helped us prepare for our big day all along the way and was able to answer all of our questions! He provided the audio and music for our ceremony and the audio, music and lighting for our reception. It was PERFECT! He even found a copy of the University of Mighigan fight song to surprise my husband with during out first kiss! Jason kept the day alive with his work at the reception and the dance floor was never empty! I cant remember the last wedding i went to that i stayed on the dance floor the entire night! We will never forget that night and he was a huge part in making it so memorable!

These guys are fun! Jason had the dance floor hopping all night, and definitely matched our sense of humor. I had great success with sharing the few things that were important to me, and really letting him do the rest. The online reception planner was easy to use and helpful. My only regret is not choosing to let them mic both of us for the ceremony. Even though we had an intimate ceremony/reception of 60, it would have been nice to have.

Island sound was great! We used them for both DJ and videography services. Jason was our DJ and did a phenomenal job- the dance floor was packed the entire time, and everyone from college friends to the older guests have commented on what a great job he did. Jason really knows his music- and he will find a way to make everyone have a good time.
Although we havent seen our video yet, Whitewater, our videographer was very professional, fly-on-the-wall, and very nice and easy to work with, and even stayed extra time just to capture some extra footage for us.
We had a video confessional booth- again, its too early to see the footage- but it went over really well with our guests and they had a lot of fun with it!

They did a great job with the music during both the ceremony and reception. Worked with me to slow down music for me to walk down the aisle to, and also played a great collection of music during the band breaks at the reception. Easy to work with!

Some of the funnest meetings we had in our wedding planning process were with Jason from Island Sound! I fully recommend him as an awesome, charismatic DJ for your big day. Island Sound makes it very easy for you to plan just about everything for your reception (the online planning tools are very easy to use, and I suggest using the "notes" section as much as possible if you have specific requests) and you get the impression that when you are talking in meetings, they are actually listening. The price value for such a great DJ is unmatched, so do yourselves a favor and book a meeting with Jason ASAP!

Jason was our DJ. We met with him about a year prior to the wedding and he gave us the best ideas to spice up our reception. A month later everyone is still talking about how great our reception was and how they loved the playlist. He listened to our wants and needs and exceeded them. I would definitely recommend him at DJ Island Sound.

Jason from Island Sound was the DJ for our wedding reception, and he did a great job. He is a natural as an emcee, and was very good at keeping everything moving as scheduled. He did a great job mixing the music as well. We had a ton of songs on our playlist, and knew that we wouldn’t be able to hear all of them, but he was able to get some more songs in by mixing them in cool ways with some of the other songs. He was even nice enough to play an extra song at the end of the night that my husband requested, even though he had already stated that the next song was going to be the last song of the night. Island Sound was great to work with from beginning to end.

I used Jason Huggins with Island sounds DJ in Raleigh NC for my April 21st wedding, and WOW is all I can say!!! I met Jason at a bridal show in Raleigh and knew from the day I met him that I wanted to use him for my wedding DJ. He proved even BETTER than I thought. I wouldn't hesitate to contact ANY Dj's affiliated with Island Sounds, they are awesome. He made the whole night so smoothe, and things flowed so well. He really knew how to work the crowd so that EVERYONE would get on the dance floor at some point, even elderly people. He did a great variety of slow and fast dances. Frankie is an AWESOME wedding dj! He is a good friend of ours and dj's pretty much all of his friends weddings, but for good reason--he knows how to keep the party going. Frankie was great at giving us suggestions for our song lists and had us think about things we hadn't really given thought to previously, like the cake cutting song, prelude music, bouquet toss music, etc. Super fun; he had the reception jumping and made sure we stayed on schedule. I would definitely recommend Frankie to all of my friends.

Hey Jason Huggins!!! Well, since little Will (sign bearer) decided he was the President of the Party I guess that made you the King of the Party! Jason, you did such an amazing job of never stopping for a minute to entertain us and our guests at our daughter's wedding. She was absolutely thrilled and so was Joe, the groom. It was such a memorable evening....seeing Michelle dancing with her Daddy and all the fun everyone had was a memory I will never forget. Island Sound & Video provided ceremony music and DJ for the wedding reception. DJ Jason Huggins was great!! Could not have asked for a better DJ! Our guests had the most fun and I owe it to Island Sound for sure!

Island Sound is great! They provided my music for the reception and they were amazing. Jason was my DJ and he did a great job at motivating the crowd and getting them dancing. His music choices were great too though sometimes a little interesting. They are willing to work with you and your schedule to meet with you also. They did a wonderful job!
