The Inn at Morro Bay was a great host to our Wedding. We worked with Jennifer as our catering manager from start to finish. She was very helpful in organizing all the details and was able to quickly answer any questions I had. The Inn was willing to work with us on our contract so that it suited our needs. The price was fair, and the rooms are nice. The reception room was set up EXACTLY to our instruction, we were even able to decorate the night before! We also worked with the other catering manager Tara the day of our wedding. She did a fantastic job at keeping everything running smoothly. The service at the Inn is spectacular. They went above and beyond and catered to each of our individual needs.

I couldn't be happier about my decision to have my wedding and reception at the Inn at Morro Bay. The staff couldn't of been more helpful. They were very timely and answered all of our questions, they set up the reception room and ceremony site exactly how we wanted it! The food was to die for, all of our guests were extremely happy! The bridal suite was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the ocean, it was utterly romantic. This location in general is one of the most beautiful sites along the central coast.

The Inn at Morro Bay was the most perfect destination for our daughter's wedding reception, indeed, for the entire wedding weekend. The setting on the bay provided a gorgeous backdrop for the cocktail reception, just beautiful California elegant.
I have to mention the food right now-absolutely fantastic fabulous-! We received so many complements from our guests.Executive Chef Tony Reeves is an artist with food and takes great pride in the organic origins and preparation of every item you are served.Truly he prepared a wedding feast for us. Not one thing could be improved from my point of view, and in my heart I'm an eastcoast snob! Thank you Tony!
The catering manager was superb. He took care of us for room service and breakfast lunch and dinner for 4 days, always attentive to what we wanted in such a timely manner. The asst manager did a stellar job as well. I flushed out all the details pre-wedding and the rest was in her hands and the well trained (almost invisible) wait staff.
The reception,the brunch the following day,everything was handled to perfection. They made our daughter's wedding reception a dream come true. Thanks for the memories!

Thanks for such a wonderful experience. It really was a pleasure working with you and the staff at the Inn. We would like to single out a couple people, though.
To start off, you were amazing. Thank you for being so accommodating and easy to work with. We pretty much organized this whole thing via email. Seamless and stress free. Just our style. You even knocked some sense into me at times. On the wedding day, it was comforting knowing you were there all day ensuring everything went off without a hitch. In fact, I chuckled at times when you didn't let me do anything. The only hiccup was the missing room reservation for Jim on Friday.
Chef Anthony, thanks for some yummy food. We knew at the tasting that our guests were in for some tasty food. We also appreciate you taking care of the special requests. Mission accomplished.

Joe, you're top notch! You are that guy people would only hope to have during their special occasion. Your attentiveness and professionalism during our rehearsal dinner was noticed and very appreciated. Keep up the great work.

Inn at Morro Bay was a beautiful venue for our wedding and the catering was exceptional. We booked the wedding about 7 months in advance. We spent about $18,000 with them, I figured that spending that much money they would tie up any lose ends. Problems we had include getting 3 new catering managers, guests room reservations lost, wedding party given the wrong room, and bridal suite not setup.

As part of the booking we recieved a room for 2 nights, the night before and the night of. We stated we wanted to use the first night for my bride and her bridesmaids and they said that was ok. The afternoon before the rehersal I check with the staff that the room would not be setup for the bride and groom since it was the bridesmaids. At dinner that night my wife let me know they were given a room decorated for a bride and groom. I checked again with the staff and they moved the girls into a new room. The next day while getting ready for the wedding the staff asked them to leave the room because it was reserved. I double checked with the staff that our honeymoon suite would be setup with the straberries and champagne. Double and triple checked right before entering. Never got done!

Like I said the dinner was great and everyone mentioned how good the prime rib was. If I was to do it again, I would have the ceremony and reception there. But I would not have reserved any rooms! And I would check everthing out with my own eyes.
