We just finished a magical wedding weekend at the Kimpton Marlowe for our daughter's wedding. Everything was perfect- food, service, hotel block, outside cocktail hour and Sunday brunch. The event staff is great- detailed timeline helps the bride stay on track. We picked the Whimsical package- we felt the food and bar were reasonable compared to other venues looked at. We had 180 guests- the ballroom holds 200. Amenities are great- coffee bar in lobby, bikes for guests to use, beautiful outside space for photos and easy in/out parking at Cambridge Side Galleria.

Our wedding was end of October 2025. We had the best day, from start to finish. It still feels like a dream when I think about it. (We didn't feel the need to have a videographer, but in retrospect I almost wish we had one, so we could re-play and re-live the highlight reels again!). My husband and I are very glad we chose The Marlowe as our venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. Our parents loved it too. Rachel was our MVP hands down! She was laser-focused, direct, prompt, and effective every step of the way in us planning the wedding. We appreciated her expertise and confidence all along the way - she shepherded us along and we appreciated her partnership in helping us realize, and bring to life, our own vision. We were mindful of our budget along the way, and Rachel was mindful of this and answered all our questions to help us plan accordingly. We feel that our money was very well spent here. Rachel's dedication to her role was evident to us - she was also the primary point person for us on site on our wedding day, even though she herself got married the week before we did. If there were any hiccups along the way, we were blissfully unaware - we felt the day went so smoothly, ran on time, and Rachel's precision, care, teamwork with the vendors was key. Rachel's colleague, Kristin, was likewise wonderful to work with the night of the wedding and the farewell brunch the day after. We felt very cared for and thoroughly taken care of by the Marlowe staff. Every aspect of the food was delicious - from hors d'oeuvres to entrees to dessert. We ourselves were blown away by the food, and we received many compliments from our guests. The recently renovated event space on the 2nd floor felt luxurious and classy, without feeling stuffy or trying too hard. Going into the wedding, I didn't want to put unreasonable pressure on myself to have something like "the best day of my life" on my wedding day... but I can truthfully say that it was one of the best days of my life. We will fondly recall our wedding at the Marlowe and we look forward to returning for special occasions in the future.

From the moment we started planning our wedding at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, the staff's communication was quick, detailed, personable and professional. They anticipated our every need and made us feel like VIPs throughout the entire process. The weekend of our wedding, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect- from the front desk to the bellman everyone made us, and our guests, feel special. They provided little touches like, spontaneous bottles of champagne and charcuterie, with the service at the reception being top notch! The Kimpton Marlowe team is the Dream Team. Rachel Barlaam is the "fairy Godmother" for weddings. She makes sure that your dreams and wishes come true. With Rachel's expertise and professionalism, I never felt stressed or overwhelmed during my wedding planning. She is also quick with responding to emails that any question or linger thoughts I had were quickly resolved within a day! On the day of my wedding, the Kimpton Marlowe staff made sure everything went smoothly. There was not one hiccup during the day. Everyone says that there is at least one thing that may not go accordingly during your wedding day, but I can say that I had the PERFECT wedding. The day after my wedding, everything was nicely packed and organized for me to bring home. I did not have to worry about anything at the end of the night. Everything from the beginning to the end was taken care of and my only regret is that I cannot relive the moment!

We throughly enjoyed hosting our wedding at The Kimpton Marlowe. The atmosphere was light, refreshing and offered many pockets of spaces to have intimate conversations with our guests.

Rachel is an amazing on-site coordinator. She was always on top of things, walked us through every detail and worked alongside us to help us realize our vision.

In terms of food, the options are plenty and innovative. The portions are generous and the inclusion of an open bar in our package was a hit with our guests. The serving staff were very friendly and made sure our guests needs were attended to.

Last but not least, the location is very convenient, being beside the picturesque Charles River and Esplanade.

I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience was getting married at Kimpton Marlowe. Their coordinator, Rachel Barlaam, was available to us every step of the way. She gave us our initial tour, answered all our questions throughout the planning process, guided us through our tasting and planning out logistics, managed our room block, helped with welcome bag and decor drop off, and was there to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day of our wedding. Her communication, organization, and attention to detail are outstanding and made the whole process so easy.

The space itself is gorgeous. Recent renovations have left plenty of character (e.g. beautiful tilework in the lobby, spiral staircase great for photos), while giving everything a fresh feel and keeping it neutral enough to be a great backdrop for any decor. We loved having the entire second floor reserved for our event and how easy it was to transition between the different spaces for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Plus having the guest rooms right upstairs meant less moving around for our older guests and we didn't have to worry about people driving back at night. The location is fabulous and the beautiful courtyard sets the entrance back from the street which makes a huge difference in the feel as well as the logistics of loading/unloading people and things.

Our guests raved to us about how good the food was. We loved the range of options available to us and everything came out delicious and plentiful. Catering staff were so professional and attentive during the event.

Plus soaking in the big tub in the bridal suite at the end of the night and looking out at the gorgeous view of the city were a perfect end to the day.

The overall vibe at Kimpton Marlowe is so friendly and warm. It feels like a small boutique hotel. It doesn't feel corporate or cookie-cutter at all. This is partially due to some of their amenities like free coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, dogs being welcome, the cozy bar area downstairs, etc. But also due to their incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Staff consistently went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience for us and our guests. (Just one example - a member of the catering team remembered that a certain guest was gluten-free and found her at our brunch the next day to offer her gluten-free options).

I really cannot recommend this venue enough. It was beyond perfect and if I had to do it all over I would 100% book here again!!

We had our wedding at the Marlowe in April 2025 - i cannot recommend it enough! The hotel is stunning from the guest rooms to the ballroom and the staff is top notch! Our guests are still raving about the food and service! Most of all Rachel was absolutely fantastic to work with, fun, responsive, professional and knowledgeable, we couldn't have done it without her help! Having everything in one location was a huge plus for us and really makes for a seamless event. Highly recommend! and a bonus is that they have an option for an outside ceremony!

The Marlowe staff, especially Rachel, are extremely organized and kind, which made things much easier for my wife and I. All of our guests were pleased with the food, setting, ambience and overall vibe of the venue. We would definitely recommend the Marlowe.

Our daughter just celebrated her wedding this past weekend at the Kimpton Marlowe, and I can't imagine a more perfect experience! We visited quite a few venues that we loved, but once we found KM and Rachel, we knew we had found our place. I'm not sure where to begin! The planning process was never stressful thanks to Rachel's patience, professionalism and organizational skills. Our daughter lives out of state, and I can only imagine the insane amount of emails that flew back and forth between her and Rachel! She kept us all calm, and we were always confident that the day would be perfect because of her extraordinary efforts. The venue itself has everything a bridal party could want. It's in an accessible location for out of state visitors to explore Boston and Cambridge. The staff are all warm, friendly and eager to help with anything. The price is very reasonable; we had ruled out Boston/Cambridge because of our budget, but KM turned out to be right on target. There is convenient parking on site. We were offered a block of rooms in the hotel for an amazingly good price, so that our guests didn't have to worry about driving after a big party! The food was exceptional, from appetizers to dinner and even late night snacks of pizza, cookies and milk! The reception room was gorgeous and is very easy to work with because of the neutral colors. I think one of our favorite parts was that we had the entire second floor of the hotel to ourselves! The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even a room for the bride to retreat when she needed to change was all included. The younger guests danced until the very end, and the "older" parents and guests found a quiet spot to hang out in the lobby area outside of the reception hall, filled with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables. All who attended were happy with the many choices to party, relax and mingle.

In my opinion, KM and Rachel are a still a hidden gem in the greater Boston area. I hope this review helps to get the word out that they are the place to go if you are looking for an affordable option with fabulous spaces, delicious food and most of all, an event planner who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. We had an exceptional experience working with Rachel at Kimpton Marlowe. We got the VIP treatment from the moment we walked in to tour the venue until the day we checked out after our wedding (the bridal suite is so sunny and spacious). Do yourself a favor and work with Rachel on your special day. Rachel's care, responsiveness, and attention to detail are second to none. She was a true partner to us from day one to help us realize the wedding of our dreams. And crucially, she was right by our side the day of the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly. Honestly, I tear up thinking about the joy of working with her over this past year!

The entire Marlowe team is incredibly attentive. And the venue is gorgeous. It was beautiful before, but after this year's renovation, it is unreal: modern, romantic, luxurious - and somehow cozy all at the same time. Our ceremony and reception were held indoors because it was a late October wedding, but we loved taking pictures in the park around the corner and by the Charles River (also just across the street).

Our guests can't stop raving about what a great time they had! The food and drinks were flowing all night (especially appreciated the late night snacks!). Thank you, Rachel and Team Marlowe, for the best day of our lives!

I had the best experience working with Rachel and Nicola for my wedding in August. To start with, Rachel was super responsive and showed us the venues. Though it was during the renovation, it turned out to be exactly how we wanted it. They are very flexible with indoor / outdoor ceremonies and the price was reasonable considering it’s right next to Charles River! They did an amazing job setting up the venue itself and all the staff were so attentive. The food was amazing both during tasting and at the reception, and we really appreciate the quick response from the kitchen when some guests changed their meal options last minute without any extra charge, which is a huge relief. There is one complimentary bridal suite, and we sure made full use of it with our friends after the event ;) A lot of local guests made the comments that the Marlowe Hotel was so underrated yet so beautiful even they wanted to host future events there. I would 120% recommend the hotel and the whole team!

Our biggest deciding factor in choosing Kimpton-Marlowe as our wedding venue was our coordinator, Rachel. Her friendliness drew us in, while her professionalism and responsiveness kept us committed. As an indecisive and unprepared couple, we truly appreciated Rachel's patience. She offered valuable suggestions that guided us without compromising our vision. Our wedding was held at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge in October 2024. Throughout the entire process, the team there was incredibly helpful and supportive. They were able to accommodate all of our requests and needs, and on the day of everything went incredibly smoothly. Rachel, our coordinator, was fantastic and quick to respond to any questions we had, and truly helped us bring our vision to life. The chef was able to accommodate any allergies and requests, and the food was delicious.

Rachel and the entire staff at the Kimpton Marlowe were amazing to work with! Rachel in particular made the experience so easy; we truly could not imagine having to do this process without her thoughtfulness and organization. She is incredibly responsive to emails of any length. The months leading up to our wedding were less stressful because we knew she would handle the day of and vendor coordination seamlessly. She was amazing day of with an eye to details to make sure that both my husband and I were well fed and taken care of.

The package as a whole was an amazing deal as we only needed to get a handful of other vendors. The quality for the price cannot be beat! The ceremony space in the park was perfect - beautiful outdoor space with shade so you and your guests don't melt in the sun.

The other great review has been from my guests. We continue to hear about how much they loved details of the guest experience to make sure it was fun and easy for them as well and 9 times out of the 10 the compliment should go to Rachel and the team at the Marlowe.

Rachel Barlaam and the team at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel recently coordinated our wedding there on December 16th. We had our ceremony, reception, and after party all at the hotel. From the early planning stages through day/night-of facilitation, Rachel and the Kimpton Marlowe staff were amazing to work with. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location if you have many guests coming in from out of town. Our guests loved their stay and the whole event felt personal and intimate thanks to the hard work of Rachel and her team.

I recently held my wedding, reception and post-wedding brunch at the Marlowe Hotel. From the very start, Rachel and the planning team was welcoming, professional, accommodating and super friendly to work with. They offered great suggestions, were extremely communicative and responsive, and on top of every detail.

On the day of the wedding, Kristen was a superb coordinator of all the set up, expertly working with us and staff to ensure all went smoothly. And it did! The rest of the staff were extremely professional, gracious and helpful throughout our stay. They made us and our guests feel right at home.

And the food? It was exceptional! Our guests are still raving about the reception appetizers, entrees and brunch (the following day)! The presentation and quality of food was excellent and the portions were generous.

We hosted our long-delayed in-person wedding reception at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel and our experience with the venue was nothing short of excellent! The space was beautiful and stood out from other hotels we visited in the area. It was a perfect fit for our event size (130 guests with dinner and dancing) and was also much more affordable compared to other similarly sized venues. All of our guests raved about the food and service, which were exemplary. The planning process was very smooth and tailored to our needs, and the wedding coordinator Rachel Barlaam went above and beyond to help us and answer our every question, from decor to parking details. We even had an emergency floral problem on the day of and she saved the day with backup garlands she had on hand! We could not be happier with her work and are very pleased to have had our event at this venue.

My husband and I had the BEST DAY of our lives at the Marlowe last September. We were so touched by the attentive & professional support that Rachel (our wedding specialist) & her team have given us throughout the whole planning process. We had both the joy and the challenge of planning weddings for two of our daughters within a six week period of time. The reception at the Kimptom Marlowe was an out of town location for us, thus involving long distance planning.
The Kimpton Marlowe Hotel Boston is considered a "boutique" hotel in which the decor is unique and attractive. Just as a "real fower" speaks for itself, the vibrant decor of the reception space speaks for itself and is the perfect base for adding your own elements to build an event that is very special. In addition to the attractive decor, the space is clean and has a very pleasant smell! I know that sounds funny, but it is true. The Kimpton Marlowe hosts only one reception in the ballroom and ancillary spaces per day, so you can be certain that your event will be the priority of the event staff on your special day.
A primary benefit of selecting the Kimpton Marlowe for us was the advantage of having an event coordinator who is professional, attentive to detail, and responsive in all circumstances. I had such a positive experince in the planning experience with Rachel that I now feel somewhat let down that it has come to an end! From the first moment that I met Rachel, I knew that we would be in the hands of a reliable and knowlegeable guide. Rachel is very organized, a good listener, and timely in both her guidance and responses back to her clients. When we asked for advice, Rachel provided the best guidance without ever pressuring us at all. She was the one that turned a beautiful venue into a joy-filled, stress free, and overall extraordinary experience not only for the parents of the bride but especially for the bride and the groom. Our guests have also overwhelming expressed praise at the experience they had both staying at the hotel and attending the reception.
A last word about the Boston Kimpton Marlowe is that it overlooks a lovely park with a canal-like waterway and is an attractive location for pictures and exploring. The hotel itself has access through an inside elevator to a mall that is convenient in the event of an emergency need that arises.

For our wedding, my husband and I had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at The Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. We visited the venue and immediately loved it. It is a beautiful space that was able to hold our guests and it was also convenient. We booked this venue almost a year before the wedding and worked with Rachel Barlaam. She was very attentive and patient, especially when we had a lot of questions. As the day got closer, Rachel was very organized and detailed and great at accommodating some last minute changes. Our guests were very happy with the venue and food. One guest mentioned how intimate of a space it was, even though it was 100 guests, it did not feel crowded. We were able to have the second floor of the hotel the day of and it was nice to have the space to ourselves. Rachel and the staff were amazing, welcoming, organized, and professional. We highly recommend The Hotel Marlowe for your wedding!

The Marlowe is a cute boutique hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the Charles River. Now I’ll shift gears to shouting out Rachel B. The wedding specialist. She was nothing short of amazing to work with. She was very responsive and accommodating. She paid attention to details and brought my vision to life. I can be a little bit of a perfectionist but she was patient with me (great fit for me). She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to make my wedding a success. I highly recommend the Marlowe, Rachel and her team. The chef is amazing as well and I highly recommend the Statler chicken as part of the menu- it was delicious. In my opinion, it was affordable given the location and of course the wedding specialist adding the extra special touch. Thank you again Rachel.

The Kimpton Marlowe Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding! Great location, with wonderful photo opportunities inside and nearby, and delicious food and drinks and very helpful staff. Nicola helped us plan everything just the way we'd like -- and had lots of good recommendations for all the decisions that overwhelmed us. We really liked how much of planning and wedding package was done directly through the hotel, vs. having to hire additional outside vendors. The hotel was very reasonable when we were forced to reschedule due to the pandemic (at a time when friends of ours lost their venues and deposits). I couldn't recommend it more highly!

First thing we are not city people. We found this location on wedding wire. They responded immediately. We had looked at other locations but nothing seemed right. Ellie reached out to us and it was like instant connection. She was the main reason we chose this location. She was amazing. She fit with us perfectly. She took all my ideas and made them come to life. She never told us we can’t do that or this is to hard. She just figured it out. We had a beautiful wedding here with about 80 people and it was everything we envisioned and more. The food was amazing the locations for the cocktail hour and reception were stunning. Ellie really went above and beyond. We highly recommend this place the atmosphere and the wedding event coordinator Ellie were on point. Thanks again Hotel Marlowe for our perfect special day. Oh by the way the cherry on top 100% pet friendly and our fur baby was able to be there with us.

We fell in love with the Marlowe for its cool details that gave us all of the convenience of a hotel wedding with the charm of a boutique venue. I was looking for a very low maintenance planning experience and the Marlowe was super easy to work with, very response, and helped walk us through the entire process. Ellie Durbin was a dream to work with, very detailed oriented and you can just tell she loves weddings and knows how to manage a lot of personalities! From ceremony to afterparty, there was no issue! Also, the price was WAY more reasonable then any Boston hotel just across the river which is always a plus.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Hotel Marlowe in May. We had a wonderful experience with Ellie Durbin and her team. She was reliable, creative, responsive, and knowledgeable about local vendors. The ballroom was clean, modern, and photographed beautifully. It suited our 150 guests well. The food was delicious. Our guests are still talking about the short rib entree. We can’t imagine our day without the Hotel Marlowe!

The Hotel Marlowe is an upscale hotel that provides an excellent value in the expensive Boston market. The staff is extremely well trained and professional and their wedding coordinator is outstanding - very professional, experienced and fun to work with.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Marlowe and it was absolutely wonderful! The venue itself is fun and unique and made for great photos. The space was very convenient - having the whole floor dedicated to the wedding, with different sized rooms so that we were able to adjust which rooms we used as our guest list grew... On top of all that, the food was great - we got a lot of compliments - and the location was incredibly convenient. But one of the key factors that won us over with the Marlowe was our hotel/event coordinator, Ellie D. From our first meeting, she was so on top of all of the details, gave great suggestions when we asked, helped us work through budget/package options, and was fantastic to work with throughout all the planning and the event itself. Thanks Ellie D and the Marlowe for helping us make our wedding so wonderful!

We had our wedding at Hotel Marlowe recently, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. First, Ellie is incredible. She was on top of every part of the day, and she was incredibly responsive to all our emails and requests. She was everywhere on the day of, and the entire wedding went off without a hitch. Second, the entire staff was always responsive and professional. Third, the location is fantastic - the interior is great for a wedding, the outdoor space looked fantastic in photos and was easy to get to, and the rooms are excellent. Everyone talked about how much fun they had at the wedding, how much they liked the location, and how delicious all the food was (people were particularly big fans of the short ribs). We didn't have the ceremony at Hotel Marlowe, but we had photos along the canal and cocktails in the courtyard, and everything was perfect.

Hotel Marlowe had provided exceptional service, all of the guests could not stop raving about the quality of the food, beverages, decor, and all the services provided. The room blocks were perfect as well. Our coordinator was very flexible, accommodating, and responsible and patient all along this process, couldn’t have done this without her. I would advise this location to anyone interested !

Not only are the grounds beautiful and charming, the staff is equally as nice and accommodating. From the front desk staff, bell men, and banquet coordinators, everyone was so gracious not only to us, but to all our guests. All of it guests had a VIP stay and the service during the wedding and the entire week was perfection. Our wedding at Hotel Marlowe was perfect. My husband and I got married at Hotel Marlowe this November, 2017. I am an architect, so I thought "I plan complicated construction projects for a living, how hard can planning a wedding be if you're organized and stay on schedule". HAA...I learned, but I was still so spoiled by Hotel Marlowe. We absolutely fell in love with the steampunk-esque aesthetic throughout the entire hotel. We love Kimpton's in general with their funky boutique interiors, but Hotel Marlowe is one of our favorites. They have a beautiful garden in back along a small inlet to the Charles River with gorgeous weeping willows and a stunning stone bridge.

When we met with Ellie, our wedding coordinator, We felt immediately at ease and like we could be our goofy selves and that everything was in good hands. Even I, an OCD, organizational nut, always felt like things were under-control because Ellie was always there with a quick response or suggestion to help guide us throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, I (the OCD control freak) was told I was the calmest bride anyone had ever seen. This is entirely because of Ellie, I knew she had it and I didn't have to worry about a thing!!! So I just got to enjoy the day!!!

THE FOOD! People are still talking about it. Rack of Lamb or Roasted Chicken with Mushroom Risotto, or Mushroom stuff raviolis...each one amazing! The staff was so nice, and accommodated everything we asked for. It was super special that when we sat down to eat dinner, we had a sample tray of all the hors d'oeurves and a tray of oysters (amazing)!!!

Honestly, if you want a unique experience, someone you can put your trust in, a stunning location, and to just surround yourself with amazing people, go with Hotel Marlowe and ask for Ellie Durbin! Our daughter's wedding was held at Hotel Marlowe on 9/9/17. I can't say enough about the professional, friendly, accommodating staff that we met from the time of planning to the execution of the wedding. Everything went like clockwork. Ellie Durbin was fabulous to work with. She worked tirelessly through the whole process and made sure every detail was completed. Thank you for a fabulous time!

We hosted our wedding reception at Hotel Marlowe in July 2017. We loved this venue as soon as we walked in for the first time. This lovely boutique hotel has a modern and cozy feel and it’s conveniently located close to the T and airport, which worked out nicely for our out of town guests. We were able to use the Charles River and Boston Skyline as our backdrop for wedding photos before our reception. The hotel offers a wide variety of entree and hors d'oeuvre selections. All were very delicious! Ellie was our wedding coordinator and she was very sweet and pleasant to work with. She made the planning process much easier than expected. She was very responsive and never hesitated to provide her two sense. Ellie also proactively reached out to our vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page. We are super thankful to have Ellie as our coordinator as the night won't go so smooth without her help! Many of our guests complemented our wedding was beautiful and that they had a wonderful time! We would highly recommend Hotel Marlowe to anyone planning a wedding!

When we first began planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it to be fun, like a big party, and also have amazing food. Nicola and the Hotel Marlowe brought all of that and more! We did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (and after party!) at the Marlowe. I was able to plan the wedding of our dreams with Nicola's help, and all of our guests (especially those in their 20s and 30s) could not stop talking about what a great time they had. Nicola and her team were incredible through the wedding planning process, and put together so many little details in how they decorated using what we supplied. Nicola also made sure that we both ate during the reception and her team was sure to put some of the appetizers from cocktail hour on our table so we'd get to try them. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and that is all thank to Nicola and the Hotel Marlowe!

We had our wedding reception at The Hotel Marlowe on October 8, 2016 and words cannot simply explain how incredible everything was! Two words: Hollie Herrick. Hollie was our wedding coordinator at the Hotel Marlowe and she truly went above and beyond. She helped make our dream wedding become a reality and she genuinely cared about how we were doing during the planning process. We just got married on April 9th, 2016 and are still on Cloud Nine....all because of the amazing work that Ellie and the entire staff of Hotel Marlowe did to help my husband and I make our wedding dreams a reality!! My husband and I got married at Hotel Marlowe beginning of March. We couldn't have imagined a better venue (and team to work with)!

I must note that we only had 8 weeks to plan our big day (we had to put the date ahead to accommodate family from overseas). Despite this condensed timeframe, the wedding ended up being everything we had envisioned AND beyond, mainly thanks to our coordinator (and catering sales manager) Ellie. From beginning to end, Ellie was very welcoming, sweet, easy to communicate with, patient answering any questions, and attentive to detail. Not only was she flexible working towards what we needed/had in mind, but she also had helpful suggestions for things we hadn't even thought of. With her experience, expert advice, positive attitude, and passion for what she does, Ellie made us feel very comfortable and relieved a LOT of my planning anxiety. On the big day, she made the ceremony and reception run super smoothly - we didn't have anything to worry about.

Our 60 wedding guests all had a fabulous time at the hotel! The staff was super professional and very friendly. The food was delicious with a lot of options to choose from. The hotel has a very luxurious and modern feel, and we didn't need a lot of decor. The gorgeous interior design served as a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. Having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different halls but all on the same floor was a great logistical advantage for us, our guests, and our vendors! We also loved the opportunity of having an "afterparty" in the hotel lounge for our closest friends, incl. late night snacks and a bar (with very nice bartenders). Some of our guests stayed at the hotel and were impressed with the rooms and service. Our bridal suite was gorgeous, very roomy, and so welcoming that afterwards we wished we had stayed longer.

Bottom line: everything was top-notch AND a really good value (especially considering the location and quality of service). Highly recommended!

Our wedding at the Hotel Marlowe was perfect. The space is so beautiful, clean, and quirky, it matched our style perfectly. Everyone on the staff was so incredibly helpful, responsible, and personable -- it seemed like they all knew our names and would ask us if we needed anything every time we saw them. Taylor from the front desk even left a special note and champagne for us the night before! Best of all was our wonderful wedding planner, Ellie. We were so happy to work with her because she was so responsive, receptive to our ideas, and full of wonderful suggestions on how to arrange the space and other details that she thought would match our personalities and style. We got to know Ellie quite well in the year leading up to the wedding so we really looked forward to our meetings with her. She not only made sure our wedding went well, but she also made sure that we took time to enjoy it. We appreciated having separate spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even after party. The event flowed so smoothly and naturally from one space to the next. The Hotel Marlowe is incredibly pet friendly, which was perfect for us, since having our dog be a part of our big day was very important to us. He got to participate in the ceremony, and the front desk staff was happy to watch and care for him during the reception. To end off the night, the wedding suite was huge and luxurious. I would highly recommend the Marlowe to anyone who is getting married in the Boston/Cambridge area!

My husband and I were married at the Marlowe on August 15, 2015. It was an amazing day that we wish we could live over and over again.

Although our contact at the hotel left for another position elsewhere after our tasting dinner, we felt confident and taken care of with all of the staff. Our contact, Amanda, was professional and courteous. She was incredibly patient and accommodating with a few of our sillier asks.

We were married in the park adjacent to the hotel and used the AV services provided by the hotel. Everything was perfect. My husband was hesitant to choose an outdoor venue in case of inclement weather, but the Marlowe has the amazing option of moving inside for the ceremony should anything happen. It helped to put his mind at ease and we did not have to fret about the weather. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and thunderstorms rolled in during the reception. We had the best of both worlds - a gorgeous outdoor venue and rain for good luck!

Highly recommend the Marlowe to anyone looking for solid customer service, wonderfully accommodating staff, and gorgeous event space.

Nicola & Hotel Marlowe were incredible hosts for my October wedding. When looking for a venue, I wanted a place that was 1. In our price range, 2. Fun & funky, 3. Conveniently located. Marlowe was all of these, and so much more! Working with Nicola was a breeze. She is professional, sweet, personable, and easy to communicate with. Whenever I had a question, she would get back to me right away. At our food tasting, we felt like royalty when we saw a sign with our names outside the conference room and were waited on by courteous and professional staff. (PS. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING and everyone complimented it after our wedding!) When we checked into the hotel, everyone was super friendly -- valet, front desk, etc. They made us feel really special and every minute I was there, I felt so happy that I chose Marlowe for our venue.

On our wedding day, Nicola was there the entire time, completely prepared for everything-- when the hook on my dress popped open, she was right there with a safety pin! When my husband forgot to cut the tag off the sleeve of his suit, she found scissors! She kept the day flowing and when things got behind schedule, she was there with a smiling face to remind us what to do next. I felt constantly at ease because I knew she was there if I had a question about where I should be or what I should be doing, and I was able to relax and enjoy every second of the wonderful day.

Marlowe is also exquisite and unique, making for wonderful photographs. Our photographer was a family friend and was initially the person to tell me about it. I had asked him his favorite place to take pictures in the area, and Marlowe was at the top of his list. The forecast predicted rain (it was wrong!) but I didn't freak out, because the inside of the hotel is so glamorous and beautiful that I knew we would get gorgeous shots, even if we couldn't go outside.

To summarize: Nicola & Hotel Marlowe are phenomenal and I recommend them to everyone!

I really wish I could give 10 stars for each category! Ellie Lucash and her team at the hotel were beyond fantastic. They were very accommodating and so easy to work with. Ellie always made herself readily available for any questions we had and provided quick responses. She genuinely loves her job and that really shows through in how she interacts with her clients. By the end of the experience, she really felt like a friend. We couldn't have gotten through the whole planning experience and wedding day without her!

My husband and I got married on 10/24/15, and our wedding was beautiful, fun, and full of incredible memories. We felt completely supported and well taken care of from start to finish. We signed up for our wedding 7 months before the big day, and the event coordinators at the Marlowe made the planning so easy. We loved the package that we were offered. A ceremony on site (either indoors or outdoors in the park); delicious food catered by the hotel's restaurant, Bambara; a suite for our wedding day; valet parking for guests; and room blocks at a great rate. You get so much more than that though. The hotel is chic and gorgeous and recently added a lovely piece of new art. The new steam-punk styled armillary named Celeste is a unique and beautiful sculpture that adds a colorful glow to the entrance of the hotel. The hotel is also in a convenient location along the Lechemere Canal overlooking the Charles River with plenty of parking and quick access to the T and airport.

Hotel Marlowe was the venue for my daughter's wedding last weekend. We worked with one of the catering sales managers, Ellie Lucash! She was phenomenal. Her attention to detail, her follow up, her positive attitude and pleasant demeanor made the entire experience absolutely foolproof! She cared about everything that was important to us and did not miss a single detail. We were thrilled. The hotel staff was spectacular. Our guests could not stop raving about the customer service. The food was delicious, and the rooms are lovely. We highly recommend Hotel Marlowe for a wedding venue. It exceeded our expectations!

If you're considering the Hotel Marlowe for your wedding or any event, you can do no better. We were told our wedding was the "wedding of the century", and indeed it was. Every single person at the Marlowe in Cambridge went out of their way to make us feel special, and our guests could not stop raving about the great time they had.

We did a lot of work to transform the ballroom into a beautiful ceremony and reception room, and worked extensively with our amazing coordinator, Ellie Lucash who held our hand every step of the way... literally. Ellie advised us on every aspect of the wedding, giving her expert opinion on what would and wouldn't work in their space. She answered every question we had, and was on call pretty much 24/7 in the days leading up to our wedding. We can't thank her enough for making our day so perfect.

Everything about this hotel, from the decor, to the food, to the exquisite service was 5-star. Seriously, amazing!

Super cool/funky decor, great food, helpful staff, VERY accommodating (eg when forecast called for possible rain, event coordinator offered to set up an entirely different room for the indoor ceremony, if needed, to avoid flipping the reception hall, and they were very willing to make substitutions eg swapped apps for late night snacks and swapped beer selection per our preferences)

We loved the decor from the minute we walked in but it was the friendly, responsive and knowledgable wedding coordinator (thanks Ellie!) that really sold us on the venue! Throughout the whole process Ellie was on top of everything, answered all of my questions immediately and made all of the accommodations that we requested. Since the wedding I've been complimented the most about how amazing the venue was and how helpful the staff were. Also the food is AMAZING and will wow all of your guests! Just as a tip for pictures... As per Ellie's recommendation we went to a little park across the street from Marlowe where there is a great view of the Boston skyline! My husband and I would recommend the Marlowe to anyone!

The Hotel Marlowe was the PERFECT space for our intimate 75-person wedding. Since we had a few guests who were mobility impaired, we wanted to ensure our entire wedding was easily accessible, so the second floor of the Marlowe was perfect. It was spacious, so our guests never felt cramped, but we also ensured no one got lost between ceremony and reception! The staff was AMAZING. They listened to all my concerns and helped me create a perfect day. Mainly, we were worried about the space feeling TOO big for 75 people, but our coordinators helped us set everything up in a way that made the rooms feel like they were made for us. The grounds are perfect for photography, and the space is so beautifully decorated that you don't need to worry about bringing in lots of decorations. If you're looking for a great place in Boston, definitely check out the Hotel Marlowe!

The Marlowe is a beautiful hotel that has a very intimate feel. Amy was WONDERFUL, and helped us plan a perfect wedding. She answered all our questions right away and always got back to us. I never felt like"just another customer", I felt like a friend. The room looked gorgeous and the food was delicious. We felt so special. Our out of town guests were treated like VIPs and the rooms are beautiful. I can't say enough good things about our entire experience at the Marloew.

We had our wedding at Hotel Marlowe and we couldn’t be happier about it! We did all the planning via email/phone (we live out of state)- Amy Anderson, the event manager was so polite, professional, organized and accommodated all of our needs. The staff was very friendly and answered any question we threw at them. The décor of the hotel was quirky and unique. Our guests are still talking about how great the staff, rooms, food and overall experience was. The hotel is attached to a mall, which made it easy for last minute errands. It’s also located close to the city of Boston and the T. There was so much to do and we had a blast from the minute we arrived. We would choose Hotel Marlowe again and would recommend them to anyone! Great experience, great staff, great atmosphere and great wedding!

I do not think there is enough space here to write how happy I was with the Hotel Marlowe. From beginning to end it was fantastic!!! Amy our wedding coordinator was awesome and fun to work with. The staff the night of our wedding was great. Oh and the food is to die for!
We had a cocktail style reception and a lot of little tweaks leading right up until the day of the wedding. The staff implemented everything and room looked exactly as I had dreamed it would. The venue itself is awesome, the decor and feel as well as the great location was perfect for our wedding.

Excellent. Amazing. Perfect. We got married at the Hotel Marlowe on Oct. 15, 2011. It has been two weeks already and people are still raving over how amazing the entire event was. Living in the Boston area my entire life, I always wanted a “Boston” wedding. After looking at some of the pricing around, I realized this type of event was not in my budget. A friend of mine referred us to the Hotel Marlowe (she also got married there). I had never heard of the hotel, but after our first site visit I knew this was the place I wanted to have my wedding at. It is elegant, modern, classic, trendy and everything I wanted for my day. I had some major requirements coming from a very Italian family including quality food, large portions and reasonable pricing. Hotel Marlowe offered all of that and more. Working with Regina made our event so my easier and flawless. She was amazing and easy to work with, especially with all my crazy last minute changes. The hotel catered to our very demanding food needs and menu edits. Their display and service was phenomenal. The servers are experienced and know how to properly take care of the guests. The bartenders were super nice too! The taste and quality of the food was to die for and more importantly the portions were large enough to keep my family happy. We had about 190 guests at our event and every person was taken care of and content. We thought parking would be an issue, but they took care of the complimentary valet (included in our package). We were so close to Boston, that all of our formal wedding shots were taken on Memorial Drive overlooking the amazing view. We also received a complimentary night in the hotel bridal suite. The room was SO CUTE! We really could not have been happier to have chosen the Hotel Marlowe. All of the staff and service are excellent and this is a great place to hold a wedding. We will definitely be back to enjoy the views, rooms as well as the local Bambara restaurant. Thank you so much Hotel Marlowe for an amazing event!

I can't believe the last review. Everyone complimented the food at the Hotel Marlowe. Bad day maybe? We had a choice of 3 different plates for our guests. The chef even created a special vegetarian one from mine and Ericka's ideas when I wasn't thrilled with the original meal. We had our reception there and Ericka Mallen was amazing!!!!! And Bradley was great too. Ericka was so good with us and we were adding courses to our meal not on the menu, but she worked with us. It can be pricey, but it's worth it. Also, we had an open bar all night and the drinks were fantastic. The space is funky and by the water and the hotel is dog friendly--all the reasons we chose it. The linens and chairs are classy, and I know because I kept changing my mind, in which, again, Ericka made it all happen for me. I can't thank Ericka enough for all she did.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Hotel Marlowe on 5/29/10 and it exceeded all of our expectations. We chose the Venue because of the location, style, and value for our dollar. But we loved our experience because of the people we worked with, Jeanne MacGilvray wedding coordinator, the fantastic food, and first class execution.

Our Out-of-town guests who stayed at the Marlowe were amazed at all of the free amenities including a daily wine hour and free kayaks for the Charles River. Folks from the Boston area were impressed by the free valet parking!

I got married at the Hotel Marlowe on 5/2/10. The wedding and reception exceeded our expectations. The staff (from the bell hop to the wedding coordinator, Maggie Kapler) were not only helpful and knowledgeable but also made us feel like family. Our package included the venue, the food, the cake, and a suite for my husband. There were many other perks as well. The price was affordable and the quality was unbeatable no matter how much we were willing to spend. Many guests have told me that this was the best wedding they had ever attended (even some married guest!). I plan to visit again for our one year anniversary! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married.

The Hotel Marlowe and Kiralee, our event coordinator, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in to look at the hotel until the moment we checked out of the hotel the morning after the wedding, everything - and I mean everything, was easy and wonderful and beautiful and EXACTLY what we wanted. Kiralee helped us design the perfect wedding and every aspect of it was fabulous. She was a dream to work with as was all of the Marlowe staff. Our guests stayed at the hotel and we had a brunch the morning after- I can not emphasize enough just how great they were.
Over a year later and I still can't find anything to complain about. The food was fabulous, the room looked divine and my exacting NY relatives are still raving about the wedding... and that is not an easy accomplishment!

We booked our wedding through Kiralee Dugan at Hotel Marlow who was wonderful! She was flexible, professional, and knew her stuff. I have recommened her and this hotel to a lot of friends. My out of town guests felt at home and the "living room" provided a space for everyone to gather at night and enjoy having everyone together. Kiralee was the consumate perfessional and gave us the best advice with respect to our monetary requirements and our expectations from vendors. Her upbeat and non-judgemental vibe made it so easy for us to be honest about what we wanted without fearing that our wedding planner would "poo-poo" it. She helped us prioritize our needs and we ended up getting everything we wanted (i.e. outdoors ceremony, indoor party, cultural traditions, et.) We loved the whole experience. She and the hotel made it the best day my life.

The Hotel Marlowe is a wonderful venue to have a wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful, with it's funky art deco design, winding staircase and lovely ballroom. A smaller and more intimate hotel in the midst of the city coupled with attentive and friendly staff. The food was fabulous and my guests are still raving about it. Everything was done to perfection. This wonderful day came together with the expert help of Kiralee Dugan, our wedding coordinator. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with - she pulled it all together with her attention to detail, professionalism, calm demeanor, patience and flexiblity. She was terrific!

Kiralee was phenomenal to work with. She was very helpful with suggestions and answered all questions in a timely manner. She was also very open to my requests and played a major part in making my day exactly what I had always envisioned it to be. The entire staff at Hotel Marlowe was extremely helpful - all my of guests said it was a wedding they will never forget for all of the right reasons. Also - food got many rave reviews!

My husband and I recently got married at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge MA and we loved it! The Hotel Marlowe is an amazing location and had a some great outside spots for photos. The hotel is so warm and inviting and the staff is the friendliest I have ever met (our guests even mentioned that to us). We had our ceremony and reception onsite and everything went off seamlessly. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is out of this world. We have had guests raving about it since the wedding.

Kiralee Dugan (the wedding coordinator) was always pleasant and on the ball, we couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. She made the planning so easy and fun, and always made us feel like we were the only bride and groom she was working with. We would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone in the market.

Let me start off by saying I have attended 2 other weddings this year for relatives and everyone agrees that ours was the best! The food was amazing, the hors d'oeuvres were delicious and kept our guests satisfied and entertained while we took pictures in between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception. Everything was so organized and ran like a well oiled machine; our guests raved about the experience for weeks following the reception. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the reception started a bit late (my fault), but we paid extra for special rolls to be put out and the rolls were not kept warm, so they were cold and the guests didn't enjoy them at the reception. Other than that minor issue, everything was perfect. We opted for the late night snacks option in the downstairs living room and it was the perfect touch! The DJ gave me a light stick and I led a soul train down the stairs to the living room. Very cool and people hung out there for another hour or 2, just enjoying snacks, drinks, and good company. My guests ate every last bit of everything. The price for the food and drinks, when compared to other venues in Boston/Cambridge, was a steal for the extremely high quality of food and service. It was truly a magical experience, and honestly, my husband and I were in mourning once it ended. All in all, we had a great experience and are super grateful to Ellie and everyone else who made the experience so amazing.

We spent a good deal of time researching and visiting possible wedding venues, and selected the Marlowe not only because of its location and amenities, but also because of the professionalism and responsiveness of Elizabeth, the catering sales manager that we worked with. Every step along the way, Elizabeth was there to answer our many questions and research our many requests. She always had a positive attitude and worked hard to ensure that we were comfortable with the planning of the event. She took care to understand our budget, and was creative in coming up with solutions to fit the needs of our event within those constraints.

The event itself was very smooth. The "living room" area of the lobby was absolutely perfect for our many out-of-town guests to meet and socialize. Being connected to the mall (you don't even have to go outside) gave us easy access to quick meals and last-minute shopping. The spiral staircase in the lobby and the outdoor area next to the hotel near the canal were great for taking candid pre-wedding photos.

The hotel staff were ready to go when our ceremony ended over 20 minutes early. Elizabeth was great in working with our wedding planner to ensure a smooth flow, and dealing with some minor crises (not enough flowers being delivered). The ballroom was perfect for us - because the decor was modern, and it had a view of the water, it did not require any additional decoration. Although my expectations for food at any wedding are low, we felt that the Marlowe's food was excellent all-around, and the catering staff was not pushy about getting us to eat quickly.

Our guests were very impressed with the hotel. We received numerous compliments about the facility itself, as well as the friendly staff. In addition, the location was convenient for our out-of-town guests, being relatively close to the airport, and about halfway between the sites of Cambridge and downtown Boston.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Hotel Marlowe and it was a great experience. They were really easy to work with and everything came out wonderfully. The food was phenomenal. Everyone was raving about it. We worked with Maggie and she really helped us along. I highly recommend this venue.

We recently had our wedding at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, MA and would highly recommend this venue for any couple that is looking for a venue for their wedding. The Hotel Marlowe provided a very unique, warm, inviting and romantic and luxurious setting for our wedding. We would highly recommend you look at their website!!
In addition, all their staff were extremely helpful and friendly both to us and our guests staying at the hotel. Kiralee, (their catering/event coordinator), was the best - she was extremely professional, accomdating, and quick to try to cater to our every need.

My husband and I went into the wedding planning process feeling a bit timid and overwhelmed by the sheer number of options. We knew we wanted to keep it small, have an amazing party with friends and family, and host it in the city of our first date. Enter Hotel Marlowe and Ellie Lucash. Unlike other venues who made it difficult to navigate through options, fees, and logistics, Hotel Marlowe took an organized and logical approach which put us at ease. After our first meeting with Ellie, we knew we wanted her at the helm of our planning process. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, and passion for all things wedding allowed us to focus our energy on the more heartfelt and personal aspects of our wedding day. The location, atmosphere, and food were truly outstanding. After saving for the fanciest party we've ever thrown, we have absolutely no regrets in choosing Hotel Marlowe as our venue.

We were so thrilled with our experience holding our ceremony and reception at Hotel Marlowe. Hollie, the coordinator, was amazing. The weekend of our wedding she had an uncanny way of simply appearing whenever we needed her. She truly went above and beyond, offering to help with any and all details along the way. I think for a week after the wedding everyone in my family was saying "What a beautiful wedding...and Hollie was amazing!" As our wedding wrapped up we also enjoyed working with Millie - she was very helpful and concerned that all was in order for us. Great team all around!

While we held the wedding in Cambridge, we live in Seattle. The simplicity of the Hotel Marlowe package made long distance planning so, so much easier. Cake, catering, bartenders, linen rental, reception, venue space, parking - all were handled via the single package.

The hotel's decor was fun and classy and the food was excellent! Wouldn't hesitiate to recommend this venue.

The Hotel Marlowe is a wonderful venue for a wedding. Our guests raved about the entire event; e.g., food, ambiance and sense of intimacy and warmth, despite 135 people. The hotel's event coordinator, Amy Anderson, was exceptionally competent, respectful, and especially fun to work with.

We loved our wedding at Hotel Marlowe. We had a beautiful day and had our ceremony at the park next to the hotel. Amy was great during the entire planning process answering questions promptly, and making our day unique and special.

Absoulutely wonderful! We were so happy with not only the event location, planning, and catering, but thrilled and continually happy with the staff. The friendly staff are what made this event so successful and easy for us to plan.

Hotel Marlowe did a wonderful job for our wedding! Elizabeth was fabulous to work with- she was very responsive, flexible, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, the décor was up to my high standards, and the staff was very accommodating. In particular, people commented on the appetizers and dessert table. If we could do this wedding all over again, we would absolutely have it at the Marlowe! That being said, there are a few complaints that have been expressed to me.
1. Mother of the bride made it back to last 30 minutes of cocktail hour and was not approached once by a server with appetizers. As host, she remained worried that people were not getting enough to eat.
2. We were supposed to get wine with dinner. Dinner was served and some were halfway through their meal -- still no wine, so I went to look for Nicola. Ended up speaking with the woman who was stationed near the bar. I told her the problem -- people will finish dinner before wine is poured and I requested it be attended to. She said they will serve wine after everyone served food -- I said that was not acceptable b/c most will be finished eating, especially those who received their meals first. The wine pour arrived very late and for the most part, it sat on the table. Not happy with the way that went -- not as advertised! Have more servers to better coordinate!
3. Salad was not dressed. Was the dressing forgotten? I could not taste it, and LOTS of folks mentioned the same to me. I know of at least 2 tables who asked their servers for extra salad dressing for the table. For the price, we expect things to be just right.
4. My fish was dry and it and the risotto were barely warm. Hope others were more satisfied with their food!

I recently got married at Hotel Marlowe and had the most special experience there. The hotel itself is a boutique hotel located in Cambridge and is a little oasis in the midst of the city. It has such a warm and welcoming feel to it, and my husband and I immediately fell in love with the space when scouting wedding venues. We worked with Amy, who was a dream to work. We began getting to know Amy about 1.5 years before the actual wedding, and every time I emailed her with a question or concern she always got back to me so fast. She really understands how to be professional and responsive, which I really appreciated during a stressful planning process. We held our ceremony and reception in the Serano ballroom, and it was just perfect. We had about 182 guests, and while we were nervous the space would be tight, it was not at all. The ballroom is lovely, and we dressed it up with uplighting, which I recommend doing if you can, and we had a combination of high and low centerpieces on the tables. It looked amazing. The bridal suite we stayed in was also very luxurious and so much fun to enjoy! Can't say enough good things about Hotel Marlowe. The staff are also great, even the valets. Everyone there is so doting! Highly recommend this venue for a wedding under 200 guests.

The Hotel Marlowe and its staff consistently exceeded our expectations. The venue was beautiful, the staff attentive, and our wedding planner Kiralee was amazing. Her guidance was valuable and much appreciated, but never intrusive. Most importantly she was incredibly fun to work with. I would highly suggest the Hotel Marlowe and Kiralee Dugan.

They were mostly perfect! Only one complaint. 1) they took the challah away and didn't serve it like we asked them to.

Dealing with the catering and hotel staff at The Marlowe was a pleasure. The place is beautiful, the food was fabulous and the hotel was top notch. It was a perfect pick

Hotel Marlowe was great. Our only slight hiccup was near the beginning where we had to change coordinators because our original had changed locations (but stayed with the company). It took a little bit to get on the same page but once we did, things worked out great.

The pricing was great, they offered a 15% discount based on how we booked the evening. We booked in March for a December wedding. They do a package for the wedding which is really good but there are definitely ways to save a few bucks if you ask questions about what you can take out of the package. Either way, it's a good value, especially in the city.

We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Hollie and her team did a phenomenal job at putting everything together, keeping all of us together, and keeping the flow of the evening perfect. Our families even noticed her and the teams efforts and were very complimentary of the job they did at the wedding.

Between texting us photos of the setup, always somehow showing up whenever there was something we needed, and even capturing a few shots of me practicing a dance with my niece for a keepsake later on, it was all above and beyond. Beyond Hollie, the entire staff from Marlowe was great from the front desk to the staff on wedding night and our coordinator that took over to end the evening did a great job for us as well.

We wouldn’t change how anything went and definitely recommend Hotel Marlowe for future events.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Marlowe. Our wedding day ran smoothly; the food was fantastic and their presentation was everything they promised it would be. The only issue we had was communication leading up to the wedding day. It occasionally took a while to hear back from our coordinator. It was wedding season and she was busy with other brides, but at times it was difficult to get answers we needed to pass along to our vendors. We felt the value of the Hotel Marlowe was outstanding compared to the other venues we looked at in Boston and Newport. The hotel room rates were very reasonable. All of our guests commented on the outstanding amenities that were offered and we were pleased with everything that was included in our wedding package. If we had to do it over again, we would absolutely choose the Hotel Marlowe again.

I would highly recommend Hotel Marlowe for any any event. Service and quality was excellent from the initial phone inquiry to the finished event. And that included all aspects of the venue from the hotel staff to food/restaurant to the onsite coordinator. And all-around good experience.

Very nice venue, loved having in and outdoor options. Felt like almost all questions asked resulted in a YES result. Bar options are a bit limited and can be pricy but the flexibility all in all made it a great experience.
