Caitlyn and the entire Holiday Inn team were phenomenal to work with throughout our wedding planning process. Planning a wedding from three states away could have been stressful, but they made everything feel seamless and manageable from start to finish. The team was always prompt in answering my questions, accommodating to my requests, and truly helped bring my dream wedding to life.

One of the things I appreciated most was how affordable everything was while still offering so many included items and rental options, which made planning so much easier. I also loved their bi-annual wedding showcase — it was incredibly helpful to see décor setups and gather inspiration for our big day.

The food was amazing, and the service staff went above and beyond during setup and takedown. Having both the wedding venue and hotel in the same location made things especially convenient for our older guests and families traveling with young children.

I truly cannot recommend Caitlyn and the Holiday Inn team enough. They made our wedding experience stress-free, beautiful, and unforgettable. 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding at the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Centre! From start to finish, the team was prompt, professional, and excellent at communicating. Everything went smoothly, and our guests had an amazing time. Caitlyn, the event manager, was absolutely top-notch — organized, attentive, and so easy to work with. She made sure every detail was handled perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team for our big day!

Patty and her entire team made our wedding day absolutely perfect! From meeting her the first time when we toured the hotel ballrooms, it felt like she had been our friend forever. We knew we were in good hands when we made the decision to have our reception in the Starlite Ballroom. She is organized, attentive, personable, and most importantly she listens to exactly what you’re envisioning your day to look like. She answers emails and phone calls within minutes, which relieves so much stress! When we had questions, she had the answers.

Our guest count was going to max the space the room was going to hold, but her and her team were flexible and determined we would make it work. In our final meeting with the banquet coordinator, Kellen, he confirmed he would be appropriately staffed for the day so guests wouldn’t be waiting on plates to be bussed and next part or the meal to be served. And boy did they execute dinner perfectly! Salads served, plates bussed, dinner served, plates bussed, water and coffee refilled, all timely and done within 1-1.5 hours as planned. It was so smooth!

And the best part, at the end of the night, we didn’t have to worry about taking down any decorations or cleaning anything up. The Holiday Inn staff does it all for you. We were able to walk out and down to our complimentary suite without touching a thing. The next morning our things were all packed up, including our wedding cake they refrigerated for us overnight, and ready for us to take home. Patty, Kellen and the entire Holiday Inn City Centre team were a dream to work with, making our day perfect!

We loved our experience with Holiday Inn Sioux Falls - City Centre! Caitlyn was incredibly kind and responsive to all of our needs and requests. The venue was flexible with our guest count, and using the Starlight Ballroom made for such a gorgeous night with beautiful views of downtown Sioux Falls. Our guests raved about the food, and it was so convenient to have the hotel to do all of the decor and hosting!

Everything went super smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about food or decor or cleaning up. They were great to work with and it was super easy for the guests to get rooms. The room looked amazing and they did a great job setting all the tables!

Having my wedding reception at the Holiday Inn was all that I could have hoped for! The staff felt like family by the time we were done working with them. They were accommodating and always made sure we were taken care of! I highly recommend having your wedding event at the Holiday Inn!

My wife and I picked this venue because of Patty Everson and the amazing deal they were offering. The venue was beautiful as expected, but Patty went above and beyond for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We never expected to get such a gracious Event Manager. The price was worth the Patty alone!

I can’t say enough great things about the Holiday Inn City Centre. My husband and I had our wedding there this past weekend. All of my family had to travel in from out of state and the hotel was able to accommodate everyone with no problem! Most were able to do early check in (since a lot of them arrived a little before check in time) even though they were fully booked the night before. The rooms were beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was very spacious and accommodating for us to all visit together in common areas the night before.
As for the events staff; if I could rate them with more than 5 stars I would!! Patty was so sweet and amazing to help us plan the wedding of our dreams. She had prompt communication and was willing to find ways to accommodate all of our requests. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! The day of staff that set up our ballroom and decorations beyond exceeded my expectations. The starlite ballroom is so beautiful and the team got every detail in place as if I had done it myself. All of the servers, bartenders, and event staff that worked our event made sure everything ran smoothly and were so professional. Unfortunately, I do not know the bartenders name but she blew our guests out of the water! We had so many people that talked about how great she was and how good her drinks were.
I rented a king suite for the night before and night of so I had a place for my bridal party and myself to get ready. I had no idea how big the room was going to be. We had 3 make up artists and hairstylists, a bridal party of 7, and many family and friends in and out all day. It never once felt cramped!

The Holiday Inn City Centre was the 1st and only venue we toured during our planning process. My husband and I were immediately impressed by everything they had to offer. On my wedding day I kept being told how calm and collective I was, but I truly believe it was because I was in such good hands. Patty and her staff took care of coordinating, organizing, decorating, and cleaning up everything for our reception. We were able to enjoy the night without worrying about the aftermath. I will never stop recommending this venue! They really are the best!

We worked with Patty and she was amazing! She was super responsive to any question we had. She made the process SO easy and took so much of the stress away. Patty and the Holiday Inn staff were amazing! From day 1, Patty has been super helpful and willing to answer any questions. As a teacher, I teach b/c I love what I do, not for the money. You can tell Patty loves what she does and doesn't just want your money. The staff did a great job on my wedding day setting up and catering to my 320 guest. The food was also amazing and friendly bartenders! You will not regret your choice! I wish I could have another reception b/c it was so easy to plan with Patty!

Working with the Holiday Inn for our wedding reception & dance was so easy & stress free. Patty & the rest of the staff had great communication, were thorough with details, and so organized. We emailed, called, and met with Patty a few different times to help prepare for our event. She truly made our day stress free! She brought our ideas to life. Working with Patty and the staff at the Holiday Inn was amazing. Patty made my husband and I feel like we were her only focus at the time when we would meet with her and truly helped make our wedding day one of the best days ever. Knowing that all the setup and tear down of our reception was taken care of by the staff was a huge stress relief, knowing that the burden was not placed on our families and friends. The Holiday Inn is THEE place to have your wedding! If you are looking for organized, open minded (to anything!!), responsive & an all around wonderful group of people to work with - you should choose this venue, no questions asked. My husband & I were lucky enough to work with Patty throughout our wedding planning process. She always put us at ease, told us to call/email her any time (& would actually respond quickly - compared to other vendors) and was respectful of anything we asked/brought up regarding our ideas for our wedding. We felt like she truly cared about us & our love for one another - not just getting the sale & being 'done' with it. We actually ended up doing our entire wedding ceremony & reception in the starlight room, up on the 8th floor, (if you haven't ever checked it out, you MUST - it is stunning!) & once we laid out all of our 'ideas' - we were told to just show up on our wedding day & it will be done! (I will admit that we were a little nervous to just 'show up' - however, once we walked in, literally every little detail exceeded ALL of our expectations we had ever imagine). You will have to worry about NOTHING - they take care of it all. We will forever be grateful for the Holiday Inn, Patty & all of the banquet staff/servers for making our wedding dreams come to life. If we were to do it all over again, we would choose the Holiday Inn time & time again.

My husband and I worked with Patty for our wedding reception and ceremony, and to say she was phenomenal would be a gross understatement. Patty was truly amazing in every way possible. She was so attentive to all of my needs, responded back to every email or call almost immediately, even when she was on vacation she made sure to let me know what was going on. She went out of her way to accommodate all of my needs and make sure I got everything I needed and or wanted. She never passed judgement on my multitude of questions or what ifs, or my excessive lists and planning forms. She was so positive and encouraging and I honestly could not have made it through this wedding without her help. Even amongst Covid and all of it's crazy curve balls Patty was there to make sure my day was spectacular. Her and her team made my vision come to life and then some. Everything at their location was absolutely beautiful and executed perfectly! I can not recommend her enough for any event that you would need!!

Where to begin? The BEST of the best! Stop looking at other venues right now, because Holiday Inn City Centre has it ALL.

I am originally from the Sioux Falls area, but am currently living in Michigan. So, as if planning a ‘destination wedding’ at baseline doesn’t have its own stressors and obstacles, then add 2020; a learning curve for everyone. Let me tell you, never did I ever feel like I wasn’t a priority and that everything was going to be okay - it was beyond okay, it was PERFECT! From quick email responses, to zoom meetings “just to make sure we’re all good”, to personally working with our schedule to schedule a private tasting since we were unable to attend their Wedding Showcase, I always felt taken care of. PS: we LOVED the food and received so many compliments about how great it was!

Let’s keep going. Think you need a wedding planner? Done. They are the wedding planner! They are here for you every. step. of. the. way! Although my ceremony was at a church, they do everything from start to finish. They offer rehearsal dinner options to day after opening gifts and brunch. They have a full service bar, all the social hour goodies you can think of, and even late night snacks you know you don’t need but eat them anyway. They SET UP AND TEAR DOWN EVERYTHING, because no one, including your parents, your grandma, and especially the bride wants to be doing that after the final song of the night!

Decorations got you stressed? Take a deep breath, also taken care of! They have so many beautiful centerpieces you can choose from, some you can rent for a reasonable price and some are FREE to use - all clear, glass vases/votives are COMPLIMENTARY, and you can either supply or buy the candles from Holiday Inn City Centre. They set up the head table, they have back drop options, they have all the linen colors you can think of, some also complimentary, they have chair covers, and even offer uplighting packages.

Don’t want to travel to get your hair done at the salon? If there is ever a time when TIME is the most valuable thing - it’s your wedding day! Holiday Inn City Center offers bridal suites for you and your entire tribe to get ready in. Your glam squad can come to YOU - it’s your day and it’s truly all about you (and the groom 😘)! Eating was the last thing I was thinking about while getting my hair and makeup done, but when you have catering available and have Holiday Inn City Centre staff bringing you juice, water, coffee, MIMOSAS, pastries, fresh fruit, a sandwich platter, and chips - you can rest assured your bridal party is taken care of and that’s also one less thing anyone else has to worry about.

Guests traveling from out of town? They offer suites with amazing views and all the natural light you could ever need, which makes your photographers job easier, which in turn gives you the best photos to remember your special day! And after the dance, if you’re not quite ready to stop celebrating you can hit up any of the downtown bars all within walking distance of the hotel. Or, if you’re ready to reminisce on the day with your other half, you can simply walk back to your room and relax in your COMPLIMENTARY KING SIZE BED!

AGAIN, I cannot thank APRIL and ALL the staff at Holiday Inn City Centre enough for ensuring that our wedding day was not only the BEST DAY, but that it was also the most seamless and stress free day! From start to finish the HICC were been amazing to work with. They were so accommodating, communicative and at the last minute saved the day by allowing us to move our ceremony from our church to the hotel. No detail was over looked, and they always ensured that it was what my vision that they were executing. Anything we asked they could make happen, and everyone was so pleasant to work with, including other hotel staff over the wedding weekend. The ceremony and reception spaces looked absolutely beautiful. Just seeing it for the first time before pictures made me want to cry. It was a beautiful, magical day for me and my husband, so thank you so much HICC for helping to make it happen 😊

We had an amazing reception here! They made everything so easy for us during the pandemic and were flexible with us when postponing. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments on it! They provide all the centerpieces as well as set up and take down for you! April was amazing to work with.

My reception was everything I ever dreamed for! The decorations and food were amazing! My husband and I are so happy we chose the Holiday Inn for our special day. I definitely recommend it! We cannot recommend the Holiday Inn City Centre enough!! We had our reception in the Falls Ballroom and it was absolutely magical! We had so many compliments on how beautiful the room looked! The staff was all amazing to work with too! Kate made our wedding day completely stress free! Her team made sure our vision was portrayed exactly how we wanted it. Kate was very helpful, organized, and communicated quickly when we had questions/concerns. A huge bonus is that the HICC staff set up and tore down EVERYTHING! When the dance was over, everyone was able to go to bed and didn't have to worry about cleaning up.

my husband and I had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and we even did some of our pictures all in the hotel. Dominique was our wedding coordinator her and the entire staff were absolutely amazing. we made part of our decorations and brought some stuff in for our Hawaiian/Jimmy Buffett theme. I told her that I didn't care what all they did just to make it look nice, but my goodness did they do a wonderful job. We had so many compliments on all of the decorations and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everytime I had a question she was so easy to contact and answered right away. she even made an appearance at the wedding to say how beautiful I looked. She is the most wonderful person I am so glad we got to work with her. she told me they would make it the best day of my life and she wasn't wrong I didn't even have to worry about anyone cutting the cake because they did that for us as well. I knew we chose the best place to get married and the best person to work with. I will always recommend working with this staff.

Our contact, Domanique Lokken, was the best, most helpful person we could've asked for. She responded well to all calls and emails, helped cut deals and room rates (even the day before the wedding), and was the key to making our wedding experience so amazing. Her and her staff at the Holiday Inn made the reception room look amazing, organized our dessert deliveries and DJ, they literally did everything. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything, but still have everything look perfect. We would absolutely host another event there.

Holiday Inn did such an amazing job on our wedding day! We love Domanique, and all the support she provided through the planning process was so much appreciated, she really made it feel like “anything was possible” for our movie-themed wedding! The venue was decorated perfectly, the acoustics were great, and the food was amazing from the gourmet market appetizers to the meat and cheese late night snack bar. We still have people telling us how delicious the entree was! Even my brother, who is a picky chef, commented on how good the chicken Florentine and garlic mashed potatoes were. If you are thinking of having your ceremony and/or reception at the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls, City Centre you've made the right choice. From the moment we decided on this venue, we were taken care of. Our guests were taken care of. There were some bumps in the path to our day, but EVERY deviation was rectified, corrected, and made right. WITHOUT HASSEL. Their customer service goes above and beyond ANY expectation we could have had. Dominique and her team made our day STUNNING. We, and our guests, were BLOWN away at the beauty, detail, and service provided. The nerves, concerns, questions were handled with amazing class. We got to enjoy our day and let the professionals handle every detail. We truly can't thank them enough for making our day so extraordinarily special.

I don't know where to begin to thank April for all of her efforts and coordination in making our wedding the event of a lifetime!! It was more than perfect! The centerpieces turned out better than we had expected, the display of photos, appetizers, desserts, EVERYTHING was just amazing!! When we stepped off the elevator and saw the display with the birch logs, lighting and candles - it couldn't have been more beautiful! The room set up turned out to be the best out of all the efforts you put in to making sure Danielle was happy with the layout. The dance floor in the middle was exactly what worked out the best - everyone had to pass it and hopefully, was encouraged to join the dancing!!!

We received so many compliments on the food which made us very proud that we selected the Holiday Inn as our venue. It would not have been more magical anywhere else!!! Many positive comments were made of the wine barrels and wooden tops as well.

April & her team were absolutely amazing! Picking all the little details can be so stressful but April was so helpful and kind through all the decision making to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. All night we felt like we were getting the royal treatment, her team was so responsive and quick to make sure everything was perfect. On top of that they were all so professional and exceptionally kind which made for an absolutely perfect night and overall amazing day!

Booking the Holiday Inn Centre for our reception was one of the best choices we made during the wedding planning process! Domanique was amazing to work with and made the whole process much easier! We met several times with Domanique over the course of the wedding planning and everything was planned out to each little detail! Booking my reception at the Holiday Inn City Centre was one of the best and easiest choices I made. April and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure that our perfect day went as planned. The Holiday Inn does it all! They take care of all the tables and chairs, they will do all the center pieces and room decorating that you design. The food that they cater in house is so delicious! Some of the best beef I have ever had :) I will forever be recommending the Holiday Inn City Centre to anyone looking for the perfect day!

Everything was great! Our kids were married during the April 2018 blizzard! Domanique, Michelle, Chef Jeff and the entire staff were so helpful and accomodating that we didn't even notice the weather. From the first time we met with April, she provided a sense of comfort that our day was going to plan out JUST like we dreamed. Our wedding was in the recent blizzard but the HICC did a great job with everything! They worked with us on meal numbers and up graded our gift opening room ! It was perfect!!

I would strongly recommend the Holiday Inn City Centre (HICC)! April was my Wedding Planner for the venue and with every bump/curve in the road of wedding plan, she was ready to help! HICC had amazing food and kept us informed every step of the way! We ran into a big bump of the hotel being completely booked and April worked hard to make sure my guests were accommodated and everyone who wanted a room was able to get one. HICC does all of the decorating if you choose to have them do so and they did an absolutely amazing job! I provided a few ideas of what I wanted and it was better than I could have imagined. I have heard lots of positive reviews on the food and we had a hard time choosing meals because everything we tried was great! HICC worked well with my florist, Josephine's and with my DJ, Jason Yashino of Energy Event Group and my photographer Allana Rogge with Studiofotografie. It is amazing how everything fell into place. Our day was absolutely amazing with all of the groups working together, but the setting was stunning! Thank you HICC and April!

One thing you get with a venue like this is complete service when it comes to set up and tear down. The food was delicious created by there very own chef. We extremely encourage anyone looking at this venue to attend one of the taste testing events as we did. April was always on top of answering questions by phone or email throughout the process. If you are still in the process of making a decision on a venue, we highly recommend meeting with April at the Holiday Inn down town convention center at the very least.

We had our wedding in the Starlight Ballroom and had a great experience working with Domanique. Domanique was super helpful and the staff did our setting up and tearing down so we could relax during the days leading up our wedding day! The venue turned out beautiful and we loved the view from the 10th floor.

We booked a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn for our out-of-town guests. Nikki and the team at Holiday Inn were so easy to work with. The front desk staff were also very helpful in allowing people to switch rooms, check in early or late, and answering people’s questions. Everyone staying at the hotel had great things to say, and of course you can’t beat the location. We also had a breakfast/gift opening there the next morning, and it was delicious! I highly recommend using the Holiday Inn for a wedding block.

My son and new daughter-in-law had their wedding reception here and we also had the rehearsal supper here. They were both awesome!! The food both nights was delicious. I have had many friends comment to me about how good the food was. The decorations were beautiful and when I had questions or needed something, the staff was very gracious and helpful. We were very pleased with everything and would recommend this venue to anyone who asks.

We were very impressed with how accommodating, organized, and creative the Holiday Inn was when planning our wedding reception. Domanique was great at communicating and was quick to provide answers to all of the questions we had. She was creative and provided us with several unique ideas when we asked for guidance. I especially appreciated that they set up and tore down the room for us so we could spend our wedding day with family and friends rather than decorating and cleaning up. Additionally, we were provided with a suite and gift opening room the next day. The venue was reasonably priced, did not have any hidden costs, staff members were easy to work with, and they did a wonderful job making the room look elegant and beautiful. I'd recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone thinking of getting married!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at the Holiday Inn City Centre! We had our wedding reception in the starlight ballroom. The chandelier itself was amazing and the downtown view was gorgeous. April did an amazing job helping bring my vision to life and it was beautiful. She did a great job communicating and helping me make my final decisions. The staff was also great and friendly to work with the night of the reception. It was so nice having staff to help decorate and tear down so that I could focus on others things the day of the wedding. They had great meal options that were delicious!!

We had our wedding reception in the Starlight room located on the top floor. The staff was amazing and walked us through every step and detail. Something I really enjoyed was that the staff helped set everything up and took everything down(decor, linens, tables, chairs...etc) so there was no clean up the next morning. The food was also prepared through the Holiday Inn and was amazing. We received so many complements from our guests. We will be recommending this event location to many others. Thanks again!! We had our reception at here on August 5th and were very pleased with every aspect of the event! I worked with April throughout the spring to make sure everything was perfect... She was AMAZING - a true professional! I appreciated all her suggestions and knowledge. Our food was outstanding and the Falls room was so beautiful! I loved that our hotel room was upgraded to a suite, which was perfect for the girls to get ready in. OUTSTANDING! I would, and have already, recommend the Holiday Inn City Centre to anyone!

My husband and I both actually work at the hotel & had our reception here. It turned out beatifully! Sales and catering worked with us 100% and banquets did a wonderful job of setting everything up perfectly!

They were great! They allowed me to completely build my own menu and it was both beautifl and tasty. The butlered appetizers were served with class and my guests are still raving about how tasty and unique the food was.

We worked with April and had such a great experience with their team there! We are busy professionals that didn't have the time to worry about all the details like centerpieces, etc. April made everything go so smoothly and easily! She had great suggestions and was so helpful. I would absolutely go with the Holiday Inn all over again; we were so glad we did. Our parents and family got to enjoy the day rather than having to help do any set up or clean up. And the food was so delicious. A month later and we are still hearing about how amazing the food was!

The Holiday Inn City Centre and its staff, especially Chris Polkinghorn, did a wonderful job with helping me to create the perfect dessert bar reception I could have asked for. They were prompt with everything that I needed or wanted and if I had a question they were quick to respond with the correct information.

Everyone at the hotel did an amazing job making everything look exactly the way we wanted it to look. Patty was always available to answer any questions we had. We had a great experience here.

Domanique was such a blessing when it came to planning our wedding. She responded to all of my concerns that left me wanting to pull my hair out with such ease and professionalism. Never once did she make me feel like I was being needy or outrageous. The meal was delicious - they were even able to set aside meals from our main buffet for vegan and gluten free dietary needs. The bartender was great, the staff was kind and accommodating, our suite was absolutely beautiful. Absolutely amazing.

We used the extra room for a cost-effective rehearsal dinner the night before and of course had our reception there on Saturday night. The team made it easy to walk in the room with everything set up and ready to go! April had excellent input and was a great planning partner in the months leading up to the day. The staff was great at bringing all our DIY decor together with their river rock and the mix of square and round vases, the easy flowing floor plan, the yummy special keg, the friendly and helpful staff... I'm glad I only had to prepare for this once and I appreciated their expertise in doing this as a profession! The guests (and the newlyweds!) had a blast and were comfortable the whole weekend!

We had a great experience working with April and the staff at the Holiday Inn City Centre! Our event went just as we imagined, and we are still hearing from our guests how great the food was and how attentive the staff were!

Domanique was great to work with for our wedding reception! They made it so worry free for us and easy. I would recommend the Holiday Inn City Centre to any bride but especially those who don't have a lot of time to dedicate to wedding planning. My husband and I were both in school leading up to our wedding so we didn't have much time to dedicate to wedding planning so I loved that they already had center pieces you could use and didn't have to set up and tear down. It is slightly more expensive than other places but completely worth the extra amount for what you get.

We had our NYE wedding in the Falls Ball room and was beautiful! April was AMAZING to work with in the planning process. We also had our rehearsal dinner there as well. Great food, went with pepper jack stuffer pork loin and prime rib, we received SO many compliments!! Would definitely recommend Holiday Inn City Centre!!

April and the staff were great to work with! She was always well organized and knew exactly what was going on. When I felt unorganized and not ready for the big day she made me feel like everything was taken care of! It was so great not having to worry about decorating or clean up as the staff did an excellent job. The food was amazing and our reception could not have looked more beautiful! I highly recommend this venue :)

The Holiday Inn City Centre and Valerie were great to work with. I have no regrets about having them for my reception venue. The Starlite Ballroom is beautiful. They were very flexible about our menu/decoration choices. I loved that they include all the decorations/centerpieces. They really take care of all the details. Once I dropped everything off, they took care of everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing. When everything came together, it looked great. Thank you to Valerie and the City Centre Event Staff!

Valerie and the whole crew were really amazing in getting everything set up and making everything happen. Basically we met a lot and worked out the details and she was very available and made it easy to schedule meetings with her. She was also very responsive to her email. I showed up the day before my wedding gave her all the favors, toasting glasses, things like that and didn't worry a second about the wedding reception after that. She just did it all! I didn't have to think about setting things up and who would be sat where and so on and so forth. I felt that maybe the food was not exactly up to par with the price (mostly I think I just got a piece of meat that was a bit rare for my tastes) but other than that it was worth every penny. Not to mention the most amazing hotel room that my husband and I got to stay in for the night! All in all it was fantastic! Thanks for providing a worry free service!

The day was absolutely magical. I was blown away by the whole room when I saw all the different elements pulled together. Please thank your set up crew for all of their efforts to fit that many tables into one room and to make my ideal layout work! And thank you for helping me pick the alternating gold and black napkins - I thought that looked amazing together.

The food was incredible - from the chips and dip to the main courses - everyone loved it! I did not hear a single bad comment - and people wished they could have had seconds! Even a couple weeks later - I am still getting compliments about the food.

To summarize, it was a dream. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so grateful for your help coordinating throughout the whole process - and willing to work with my mom and I on budget things and last minute changes. You do a really nice job!

April was FANTASTIC to work with! We had many meetings with her and she and the entire staff were always so professional and helpful. She had many great ideas for seating, decorations, food, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience. It was way beyond our expectations!!

I worked with April for my August 2016 wedding and couldn't have been happier. She was very helpful in making decisions, especially when I could not make up my mind! The cost may seem like a lot at first, but when you realize how much work they do to help make that day perfect, you realize every cent was worth it. I had zero worries the day of my wedding and if anything went wrong I surely had no idea. They set up and took down everything which took a great amount of stress off my family and I.

We had a great experience with the Holiday Inn City Centre. April and her staff took care of all the little details so we had no worries the week of our wedding! The food was great (we got so many compliments on it!) and atmosphere just what we wanted. April is professional and personable and helped make planning a biggest day of my life easy. I am so thankful we went with the Holday Inn!

When we finally got to speak to our third coordinator we were very happy with him!!! Chris had the room looking amazing when we arrived:-) he did all that we asked and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!!! The communication was very difficult at the beginning but like I said Chris was really great!!!

The Holiday Inn City Centre was a great choice because their package included a lot more than other locations in Sioux Falls! April, the coordinator, was extremely helpful throughout the planning stages and her staff did a fantastic job decorating a beautiful space for our big celebration.

Valerie was very hard to get a hold and get responses back (phone or email). However, when she did get back to us, she was very pleasant to work with. When the clock hit midnight, security was there on the nose shutting the reception down. Our party favors were not organized the way they were told me placed. The food was very good!

Our event was gorgeous, and people are still talking about it over two months later. We had a few hicups early on in the process, but Connie and Danielle were great at correcting the wrongs and helping us have the wedding we wanted. The Starlite Ballroom was great for an evening receprion followed by a dance as we were able to see the beautiful views of Sioux Falls as well as the Cathedral of St. Joseph which is where our ceremony took place. We chose to have as many of the curtain open as possible, and our guests were amazed.

We had our guest stay here after our reception...was a little disappointed. Many of our guest were scattered throughout the hotel, when we specifically blocked rooms for the wedding. We were told we could have joining rooms and didn't. The only thing that panned out as planned and was nice was the provided transportation to and from the hotel. The rooms were ok, we (bride/groom) were given an upgrade for booking at least 10 rooms, wasn't much of an upgraded room. It looked the same as the other rooms but on the 9th floor. If you choose the Holiday Inn, double and triple make sure that everything you want is done & communicated clearly!!

While the Holiday Inn staff were great, their finances were completely unreasonable.

We signed a contract stating we would pay X amount of money. However, they never once mentioned their high service and sales charges. They charge around 20% PER drink ticket, therefore we would up paying over $600 in additional taxes and charges that they failed to mention prior to our purchase.
