Best DJ EVER. All 125 guests got on the dance floor!

The BEST DJ ever!!!! Trust me when I say I looked around at soooo many different DJ's and DJ David Cutler was hands down the best DJ. Every single guest (and I really mean all 125 of them!) said that he was the best DJ they had ever heard at a wedding because he made ALL my guests get on the dance floor with the FIRST song he played! He was perfect at playing music that made my parents and their friends want to dance and then around 30 minutes in he switched over to the 2010 hits that all my friends and I LOVED and kept us on the dance floor the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME! Seriously if you're reading this I would 100% book him asap because David is the best! Not only was he amazing for getting the party going but the whole planning process was amazing with him. He made sure to check in a month or so before the wedding so we could chat about our music thoughts and DJ/MC requests and he truly made the whole process so effortless. Every time my husband and I got off the phone with him we would say, "Wow, I'm so glad we booked him. I really trust that he has this handled!" And that is exactly how you want to feel with your vendors! On the day of the wedding he showed up early to prepare and everything was SO smooth. It also really helped to have his online planning platform because it made it easy to request certain songs. Thank you again SO much David! We appreciate you more than we can explain!!

This Is Your DJ!

David Cutler was the perfect DJ for our Wedding! He was a great combination of professional and fun. He understood what worked specifically for our vision. David was even able to read me when I made a request from the dance floor and was able to make a quick transition change! He kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night!

David had a sleek and modern set up which is great for different types of gatherings as it did not detract from the event! The sound system was first rate with the music and mike equally balanced for a great sound! David added to the flow of the event as MC, announcing throughout the event as we needed him to with enthusiasm and clarity!

I would highly recommend DJ David Cutler for any upcoming event!

Wedding Reception DJ

DJ Cutler made our wedding reception seamless! He was very personable, organized, and willing to help throughout the planning process, and it is clear that he genuinely enjoys what he does. The cost was also more reasonable than other DJ's in the area, and included special lighting for the reception space. He edited our first dance songs, which made those moments exactly what we pictured. I would highly recommend DJ Cutler!

I received many comments about how well the DJ did after my wedding... And I agree, David was INCREDIBLE!!!

Before the big day, I gave him a heads-up about the age groups that would be there and their interests in music (it was a smaller wedding). He truly read the crowd, kept everyone engaged, and made everyone happy! :) He also gave great service in regards to shortening 2 songs and listening to a couple of other of special requests I had.

David was a pleasure to work with! I'm so grateful that he was our DJ and for making this day so special

The best dj!

We can’t say enough great things about David! From start to finish, he kept the energy up and the dance floor packed all night. He was so easy to work with, professional, and really listened to what we wanted for our music. The transitions were seamless, and every song felt perfectly timed he just got the vibe we were going for. It was apparent that he truly cared about making our day perfect and making sure everyone had a great time. We had so many guests tell us how much fun they had dancing! We’re so grateful for how he helped make our wedding such a joyful, memorable celebration. Highly recommend!

Awesome DJ!

David was fantastic for our Safari Park wedding in May!

During our ceremony, I had a very specific idea for a portion of a song to begin playing right after we each said "I do", I wasn't sure if it would be possible to pull off, but David made it happen! He edited a custom version of the song that would fade in perfectly, and he coordinated with our officiant to get the timing just right. It was amazing and a dream come true for me to have that moment!

Throughout the planning process, David was easy to reach, friendly, and accommodating. The night of the wedding, David was great with the announcements, and great at reading the room to get people dancing and singing. We had such a FUN and joyous wedding, highly recommend David for any event.

Best Dance Floor DJ!

We got married earlier this year in San Diego. We of course wanted everything perfect, especially when I came to the reception. It was important to us to have great music and people dancing the night away - Dave crushed it. From the beginning, we felt comfortable with him. He was friendly and knew how to put us at ease. It was also easy to use his website to pick songs we wanted to hear and keep track of songs submitted. About a month before the wedding we had another call with Dave because he wanted to make sure we were all on the same page for vibes / music at the reception, cocktail hour, and dinner. He sent us some sample playlists for cocktail hour and dinner which were amazing and fit the fun chill vibe we were going for. As for the reception, Dave played great music that kept everyone on the dance floor and sprinkled in our song selections seamlessly throughout the night. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone having a wedding in the San Diego area!

1000/10!! HIGHLY recommend David! I am very picky, detail-oriented and was worried nobody was going to dance (I've been to a few weddings where that was the case), but David kept everyone on the floor ALL NIGHT - all ages!!! Best dj ever!

Not only was David perfect on the night of our wedding, he was an absolute joy to work with through all of the planning and preparation. He helped us think through all of the logistics for our Scripts Seaside Forum wedding; he help us work through and execute some special dances and surprises as well. Just had our wedding at Ethereal Garden with DJ David Cutler and I have to say, he's the chosen one. Unforgettable Wedding DJ Experience with DJ David Cutler

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the moment we met David, we knew he was the right choice. His personality is amazing, and it was an easy decision to pick him among all the other options. He's incredibly easy to work with and was so accommodating, especially when we had last-minute requests. No matter what we asked for, David made it happen with a smile!

The equipment was top-notch, and the microphones were crystal clear during the ceremony, which was so important to us. As the night went on, he did an excellent job of reading the crowd and adjusting the music accordingly—people were dancing all night long! We truly appreciated how David made our wedding feel so personalized and fun, and we couldn’t have been happier with his performance.

Would hire over and over again, best wedding DJ and MC!

David played such a crucial part in making our wedding a success and we would hire him again and again. He kept the dance floor packed the entire time (which was a top priority), and even gave us an "encore" upon request after playing the last song. His sound system, mic, and uplights all worked without a problem and added much to our party. We knew we had a tall order from him, asking him to MC and play a tough mix of music (we had reggaeton, norteño, funk, disco, and 90s pop) but he delivered a great mix that kept everybody on the dance floor. All my guests have complimented us on the dancing, and it's all because of David!

DJ David does a phenomenal job!

We hired DJ David for our wedding last weekend, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! From our first meeting, his energy and positive vibes were contagious, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable night. We provided a mix of Spanish and English songs on his website, and he knew exactly how to time each track perfectly. His ability to read the crowd was truly impressive, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. DJ David also handled all of our special requests flawlessly. Many of our guests raved about how amazing he was, and we couldn’t agree more.

We are especially glad we opted for the projected monogram he created for us—it was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. He even gave it to us as a keepsake, which we truly appreciated. DJ David Cutler Wows at Weddings

David Cutler was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, he played a huge role in making our wedding day unforgettable. His professionalism was evident in how seamlessly he coordinated with our other vendors, ensuring everything went off without a hitch.

We gave David a broad list of songs and a bit of freedom to curate the playlist, and he did not disappoint. His song selections were spot-on, blending Greek music with American pop and some incredible Latin dance hits. The way he managed to cater to our diverse musical tastes and keep the energy high on the dance floor was impressive.

Dj david is amazing

David Cutler is such a true professional!! He is so easy-going and made the pre-wedding process so easy. He was always so calm and accommodating, even as our wedding stress creeped in. On the day of the wedding, he seamlessly incorporated all of our selected songs and brought the energy every step of the way. All our guests had a blast, and even our shyer relatives made their way to the dance floor!! Such a fun DJ!!

We had such a great experience having David as our wedding DJ!! One of the most important things to us was having a fun dance party, and David made that a reality. All of our guests had SO much fun too, with many telling us it was one of the best wedding playlists they’ve heard! We did a Zoom before officially hiring him, and that convo made us feel really confident that he understood what we wanted. He has an easy to use portal to submit songs to, though we tried to really leave it up to him as the expert with our taste in mind. Tl;dr hire David if you want to have a really fun wedding dance party!!

DJ David Cutler is the best!!

We interviewed a few DJs for our wedding and were most impressed by David Cutler. We are so happy we chose him!! He's extremely organized and responsive. His site is easy to use and helpful for planning out the wedding music from start to finish. David is as involved as you'd like him to be. He's super easy to talk to--professional and kind. David was well prepared on the wedding day. He made the music/DJ element of our wedding completely stress free. He handles his job with perfection and without bothering the bride/groom. He arrived early on the wedding day to properly setup sound at two different sites (ceremony and reception areas). He mic'd up our officiant. All the sound was perfectly audible at proper volumes. He powered all his own equipment at our ceremony cite (away from venue power, in some vineyards). David worked well with our day-of coordinator to keep the wedding timeline moving and accompanied by all the right music. He made minimal MC announcements, which was nice, but made all the necessary ones in a clear and brief manner. He played all our requested songs and avoided all our "do not plays." He's a DJ who caters to the bride/groom wants, not to his own interests. He blends and remixes songs and, at our request, rotated them frequently. He knows how to read the wedding dance floor to keep the energy up and everyone dancing. He lets his music do the talking. We could not recommend David more!! We could not have been more satisfied with him as our wedding DJ. Book him now!

Dj david was awesome

DJ David was awesome! Prior to us deciding to move forward with him, he spent about 45 minutes talking us through how he thought about DJ-ing, and what kinds of experiences he wanted folks to have with him and at the wedding.

We could not have been happier working with him - it was super easy to add songs to his software, and for songs that weren't there (for me, a lot of the Bollywood music), I was able to give him a Spotify playlist. Our dance floor was open for over 2 hours, and no one left it! A highlight of our night - thank you for helping us create a place for everyone to enjoy!

Professional, Reliable, and QUALITY DJ!

My husband and I were so happy with our choice to work with David as our wedding DJ! We gave him some direction in the type of music we liked and just let him do his thing, and he did an amazing job. Great Dj for Wedding

We had our wedding back in September and we decided on Dj David Cutler since he had worked and was recommended by Harbor View loft. We enjoyed the portal to choose songs and to edit timelines, David was very responsive and we felt like he made an effort to communicate to ensure things were to our liking. The uplighting and set up was classy and really elevated the space.

DJ David Cutler was amazing to work with! He was so friendly & helpful throughout the planning process & even more accommodating the day of the wedding. We had unique playlists as I am Greek and my Husband is Nigerian but it wasn't a problem at all with his process of creating playlists. He got the vibe down to a tee and all our guests were raving about how great the music was throughout the whole night. He even accommodated some last minute changes the day of without batting an eye. David is the best!!! We just had our wedding and DJ David Cutler is a phenomenal DJ! First, he was super professional when we first booked him. He went through a power point of his services and we had a meeting over Zoom (?) so both parties could get to know each other. He has an easy-to-use online portal where we could place our timeline, any other wedding planning information, and any songs we wanted played or not played. He was in charge of sound for both the ceremony and reception and the sound was soooo clear. There was surround sound for the ceremony and I could hear it all just the same from when I started walking down the long aisle to when I got to the end of the aisle where my groom was.
We had a mic stand and lapel mic for the ceremony for the officiant and groom, respectively, and both sounded so clear. I also speak a little quieter so he was able to make sure I was heard just as well on the mic as the boys.
For the reception and when the dancing started, he kept the dance floor going!! We mostly put songs on the list that were listed as "play if possible" but they were more rap/hip hop songs so may not be everyone's cup of tea. David took the reins and started the dance floor with some crowd favorites and then got into the music we had listed later on in the night. I am pretty sure he played every song we listed even though they were listed as "play if possible" and not as a "must play." He did an awesome job incorporating our music but also reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor full. We literally got so many compliments on our DJ! I feel like we got a luxury DJ at an affordable price.. 12/10 would book again!!!!!

Truly our favorite vendor!

DJ David Cutler was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding! During our initial conversation it was clear that he truly loves music and his role as a DJ, but also that he was extremely organized, professional, and knowledgeable. He was extremely responsive and helpful with suggestions and organization, and his rates were very reasonable.

At the wedding itself, he first off did an excellent job with the sound for our ceremony. The mics were well balanced for speaking, and we had no issues. The song transitions during the ceremony were executed flawlessly! During cocktail hour, David took our must-plays and created the exact vibe we were going for. We couldn’t easily describe the mood we wanted and yet he got it right on the nose!

It had also gone over our heads to choose a song to walk in to for our first dance after cocktail hour and David instantly had a recommendation that showed he understood the music my partner and I really like.

Of note to us, too, was that everyone was on the dance floor the entire night! Even our parents and their friends spent a significant amount of time out there. We were paranoid that people wouldn’t dance and David did not let that happen. He balanced our must-plays with songs he thought the audience would enjoy so well.

It was the BEST time and we really can’t thank David enough. Our friends kept gushing about how good the dance floor was and all of this is due to David’s clear love of music, intuition, knowledge of his profession, and years of experience. You can confidently book David and know you’ll be in good hands - we recommend without an ounce of hesitation!

Best DJ ever!

David is the MAN! Best DJ ever! He had all of our guests on the dance floor all night long! He played the best music, really read the room well, and played a lot of songs we requested at the perfect times. David was great to work with from start to finish and we are so happy we got to work with him. He is a great DJ and VERY good at what he does! Would highly recommend to everyone who wants their dance floor bumping!

Dancing all night!

David was a great emcee and DJ! Our guests had so much fun and the dance floor was full all night. We were able to plan ahead with David and couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Our venue was a little different (beach then two-level boat) and he was so accommodating. The event sound was flawless. He was great with communication and so much fun. Thank you, David!

Best dj ever!

I don't even know where to start... all I can say is if you're reading this BOOK NOW!! I was honestly so stressed about finding a DJ for my wedding because the music we wanted played (and at many different moments throughout the night) was very specific. Some off Spotify, YouTube, etc. I wanted someone who would play exactly what we wanted. David went above and beyond my requests. Speedy responsive.. which if you're planning an event or your wedding, you know that's rare with vendors. He put all my worries at ease and truly gave the most all-star DJ experience. I cannot recommend him enough. He was my favorite vendor I worked with (and we hired quite a few.) Thank you sooooo soo much DJ Cutler for an unforgettable night. The dance floor was packed the entire time!

We were stressed about a lot of things when planning this wedding, but the DJ was never a concern. DJ David Cutler was incredible!! Leading up to the wedding, he was easy to work with, extremely responsive, and patient. David has a ton of experience and already was very familiar with our venue. He immediately knew what microphones and speakers worked best and where additional speakers needed to go.

The wedding could not have gone any better. We provided David with a list of songs (via his easy to use website) to give him an idea of the music we liked. He ran with it and absolutely killed it! Every song was on point. The dance floor was never empty.

A DJ can make or break a wedding. David made our wedding. Thank you so much David!

Best DJ Ever!

If you're looking for a fantastic DJ, look no further. David is AWESOME!! He is great at communicating/very responsive, flexible (we had to cancel our first wedding due to Covid), an extremely talented DJ, and just a super nice guy. He was able to work with us to customize our mother/son dance song, and he made sure he had all the correct versions of the songs we wanted to use. His website was easy to use and there were tons of songs to choose from, but he was easily able to get all the obscure and weird songs we wanted that weren't on his list. :) The day of our wedding, all the music from pre-ceremony to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing was absolutely perfect. Several of our guests commented on how great our DJ was. 10/10 would recommend - you won't be disappointed!!

Look no further- no dj is better!

What can we even say to do DJ David justice?? My husband and I had to quick pivot our wedding from home in NY to San Diego and DJ David was better than anything we could've ever hoped for! This dude was born to DJ and was a *literal* household name among the SoCal wedding scene! He even made a custom "New York, New York" Remix that our family went nuts for! Our guests still talk about the reception and the dance floor was full the entire night. Great DJ! Would definitely recommend!

We really had a great experience with DJ Cutler. He gives you so many ways to either tailor your music exactly to you, or if you want to be a bit more hands off he can take over and offer a great music selection. He was so helpful with our questions about setup, mic hookup and ways to get speakers to more remote parts of our venue. We received so many compliments on the music from our wedding, and he truly helped make our reception a blast. I would recommend him to anyone.

DJ Cutler was the BEST! Pre-wedding: He was very responsive to all of our questions and made adjustments for us with no issue.

Perfect DJ! 100% Recommend!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I was a very skeptical bride regarding all of my vendors and wasn't happy with all of my choices, but I could not be happier about booking DJ David Cutler. He kept all of my guests on the dance floor! He made the ceremony music easy, the microphones were great, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. He worked with my officiant and my readers to make everything move smoothly. My guests continually ask me for his playlist during the cocktail hour and dinner as they absolutely loved everything he played, and I gave him very little to work with in terms of requests. The program he has to get your suggestions is easy and straightforward to use and took a lot of the guess work and stress out of making a playlist. We threw some curveballs at him the day before the wedding and it was absolutely not a problem for him. He didn't steal the spotlight, was incredibly professional, and was ABSOLUTELY worth the money to hire him as a DJ. If I had to do my wedding again, I would 100% hire him again.

Fabulous and Amazing DJ!!

DJ David did a phenomenal job at our wedding!! From the beginning of the process to the end, he was professional, friendly, organized, and knowledgeable about weddings and music.

He was able to help with day of set up for ceremony sound as well as a separate set up for DJing and dancing. He took into account all of our preferred songs and not preferred songs.

What we wanted out of our wedding was little wasted reception time and more time on the dance floor. He was absolutely able to help us execute that and the dance floor was packed all night long!!

Best dj ever!

DJ David Cutler was the best possible choice I could have made for my wedding! Not only were we planning a destination wedding, it happened to fall during the Covid Era. David was fabulous from start to finish. He was readily accessible for phone calls and emails, provided a wealth of knowledge, was extremely flexible and understanding during the Pandemic, and when the day came, was extremely professional. His equipment sounded fantastic. He played music we had chosen and some from his extensive list. We let him select music for various parts of the evening and he nailed it! Throughout the night friends and family were commenting on how terrific David was and how he played all the right songs. We used some of the uplights David has and he did a beautiful job lighting the palm trees in our outdoor space. I can't say enough wonderful things about him! Listened to us and kept the party going!!

Dave was amazing. My husband was very specific about our ceremony music and we were nervous we were asking a bit too much but Dave took it all in stride. We forgot to update our wedding playlist at the last minute (do NOT do this if you're super specific) but after talking to Dave on the phone and for a quick minute before the reception he got a great idea of the type of music we liked. I even ended up doing the worm in my wedding dress! Dave's great!!

Highly recommend

David was the absolute best. I literally can’t say enough about how great he was. We were on the same page about music preferences from the first time we spoke, and he 100% followed through on what we wanted. He even cut the songs for our exit, first dance, mother/groom dance, and father/bride dance so they included the parts of the songs we liked and were the appropriate length. His taste and talent (and lights) made such a fun party atmosphere. We were told be several people that our wedding had the best music of any wedding they’d ever been to. He was really a pleasure to work with throughout the whole planning process and it was such a relief knowing he had everything handled and we don’t have to worry about anything.

What initially drew us to DJ David was his video on his website - it showed his fun style and personality. After our first call with him, we knew we wanted him to be a part of our wedding festivities. Throughout the planning process, David brought a sense of ease, attentiveness and responsiveness that made us feel constantly comfortable. He even helped us blend two songs for our first dance, which turned out amazing! David was accommodating to our timeline (which required multiple changes), uplight questions, and guests' song requests. He was truly a highlight of our wedding, and we would highly recommend him!

Awesome DJ

DJ David was fun, easy to work with, and professional. He had great song suggestions and he worked really well with our wedding coordinator. He had people dancing ALL night! There wasn’t a single bad song! He also helped us with a special request and set up the equipment for the groom’s sister to sing our first dance.
Plus, our wedding ended up being the same day as the birth of his daughter, and he still was at our venue right on time!

Best DJ in San Diego - hands down

David was our favorite vendor our of our whole wedding. We interviewed a few DJs and were so confident in him from our 1 hour phone call with him that we hired him the next day. And we were so happy with that choice! He made the entire experience of figuring out the songs and timeline so easy. He came prepared with expertise and experience and provided us with flawless equipment and even extra lighting to keep the dance floor lit! Our guests were dancing all night long and had so much fun. Fantastic DJ!

I just had a destination wedding at The Birch Aquarium this month, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with David Cutler! From our initial meeting to our wedding day months later, David was professional, friendly, kind, and amenable to all our requests. He did the ceremony sound, music for cocktails and dancing, and up lighting. It was all flawlessly executed! Our guests enjoyed the varied music selection, and he kept the volume reasonable so we could have conversations throughout cocktails and dinner. It was a perfect experience, would highly recommend!

Excellent DJ!

David was great! We had some odd song requests, but he found them and played them. During our first dance, my husband stepped on my dress and we fell to the floor, thankfully David got my cue to end the music early because I couldn't go right back to our dance since we were laughing so hard! Our dance floor was hopping all night long! He knew how to keep the party going! We also had a video that played and his way of setting up the screen was great, everyone was able to see. His website was easy to work with as well. I would definitely recommend!

Epic party!

Dear Dave,

Thank you SO much for your amazing work last night! We had friends and family raving to us all day it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. You kept the energy up and the party going. I started sobbing with joy when you paired firework song with the real fireworks. It was the highlight of the evening for me!!!

Best DJ and great person

DJ David Cutler came highly recommended and we now understand why. The entire DJ/lighting process was smooth, smooth, smooth! The up-lights made our reception look great, brightened up a dark room, and really added class. The cake pin spot lights are worth every penny. They light up the cake like a spotlight and you can’t even tell where the light is coming from. We were not initially convinced this pin spotting was a needed expense, but it totally is. Do yourself a favor and get it. As far as the music, we requested a lot of Latin tracks (new and old). David was able to accommodate our requests. His website is a great tool for him to learn what type of songs you like, dislike, and must hear.

Amazing!

David is Amazing! From the first call we had, I knew he was the DJ we wanted for our wedding. He is extremely professional, responsive, helpful, and fun. He makes the song selection process so easy and is truly gifted at knowing how to read a crowd when he is DJing. Cannot recommend enough!

DJ David Cutler was an awesome DJ & MC for our wedding!!! We couldn't have been happier with his service and professionalism throughout the entire process from the beginning in the planning phase all the way through to our wedding day/night. He was very helpful with getting us setup on a timeline and had everything together to make it as easy as possible for us to get all our favorite music and key songs played at key times. He was able to export our Spotify playlists into his DJ system after we shared them to him, which made it extremely easy on us to get our music together and organized to play at the perfect times. Great job David!!!

Spend time thinking about the flow of your reception. And communicate your vision to David and I promise, he will make it come true for you! He did such an amazing job listening to our wants and desires. We connected immediately with him and he gave our guests 6 hours of pure entertainment and GREAT music!!!

David was amazing at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He brought all his own equipment and was able to accommodate our venue. He set up very early and was overly prepared for the three different events. I made a special request for the first dance and father/daughter dance and he was totally on board with it! His program for helping pick out songs was a little overwhelming at first, but then we ended up having a lot of fun with it and he played the music so well. He really knows how to read the room and kept the dancing going from start to finish.

DJ David was an absolute joy to work with. We first saw him when he DJed our close friends' wedding and we immediately knew we needed to book him for our own. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, David was incredibly professional and on top of things, all while maintaining a calm and laid-back attitude. Our ceremony music and audio went off without a hitch; It is such a gift to be able to enjoy your wedding ceremony without worrying about whether the right songs will be played or whether your mic will work. He is also hugely talented and is the opposite of a cheesy wedding DJ. He kept our dance floor completely PACKED all night and our guests had the best time ever. We can't recommend David enough. Don't question it. Book him!

David was great! Played all of the songs we wanted (including our special requests!) and kept everyone dancing the entire night until our wedding was complete. He has a really cool system/library of music that organizes songs in a very helpful manner. You can see what the most requested songs are which really helps you decide on what songs you’ll want! He made the process very easy.

We had talked to a few Dj’s before David but after speaking with him, we knew he was perfect for us. He worked with us on all of our ideas to make the night unique for us and not forumulaic. He was flexible the entire way through and the end result was just like we imagined. His event website was super easy to use as a platform to pick our play and do not play list.

We absolutely loved DJ David and hiring him was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. My husband and I are both very into music, so choosing a DJ for our wedding was one of the most important parts of the wedding planning process for us. We are not big fans of the typical music that plays at weddings so we were a little nervous about hiring a DJ that wouldn't give us the amount of control we wanted over the playlist for the entire event. DJ David immediately put as at ease when we talked with him for the first time and made it clear we could have as much control as we wanted. He has a great online planning program that we used to make playlists for him and choose the songs for specific points of our ceremony and reception. I panicked at first when I hit the limit for songs that were not in his library. However he let me send him a document that listed all of the additional songs we wanted and assured me that any song we needed for the day he would find. The day of the wedding, he set everything up perfectly for our ceremony and reception. There were no sound issues during the ceremony or toasts and he chose the perfect songs for each portion of the night. I also loved that he made sure to have my approval over any songs that were requested by a guest. We are so happy that we went with DJ David for our wedding, and will be recommending him to any of our friends that get married in the future.

It was such a pleasure working with David! He went above and beyond for our wedding day-- he helped create our wedding-day timeline, provided awesome music--people were on the dancefloor the whole night, provided up lighting for our reception, and even saved us last minute by bringing audio devices for our ceremony (the wind was noisier than expected). We met DJ Cutler at an event being hosted by the Bahia Resort which allowed us to meet potential wedding vendors. After speaking with him, he clearly was the person we wanted to DJ our wedding. He directed us to his website which was very easy to access and use. It gave us the opportunity to not only select songs we wanted to hear, but specify which ones were important, and even better, which ones we did not want to hear at our wedding. DJ Cutler took additional time to meet with us personally to go over the specific songs and timing during the wedding ceremony. He played everything as asked without flaw. He provided our guests with a slideshow of images we provided which all were able to enjoy during the cocktail hour up to dinner. DJ Cutler not only played all the songs we wanted to hear (and never played a single song we asked him not to) but was able to read the crowd and keep the entertainment going all evening and on throughout the night. Both my wife and I would highly recommend him for any style of event and he would be our go to person for any additional events in the future where a DJ is needed. Thank you David for being a part of, and providing the soundtrack, for our dream wedding!

Hire DJ David! He has a smooth voice and is very easy to work with. Our guests commented that he seamlessly orchestrated our wedding ceremony music and kept the dance floor rocking. We had David for our wedding and he was amazing! We knew our crowd would like to party and David kept everything flowing very nicely. He had the right music on at the right times and kept the whole party alive through the end. Transitions between songs were perfect. When it came time for speeches, cake cutting and those activities he was perfect on his messages and delivery. David also did the music and sound for our ceremony and cocktail reception. Again, everything was flawless. He worked extremely well with our coordinator and our officiant. We didn't have to think about what he was doing for a second. He had it all covered. Leading up to our wedding we had special requests on getting certain MoG, FoB, etc dance songs cut to shorter time periods. The end results were amazing and we really appreciated it. Quick turn arounds too. David also helped us out with the lighting and made an extra trip to the venue to help us figure it all out. David was easy to work with through the whole process and quick to respond to all the random questions we had. His tools for helping to get organized and make payments were great. If I was ever doing anything in Southern California that required a DJ, he would be my first call. I'd even consider him for an event if it was out of state, although transportation and lodging costs would probably factor in to that. We couldn't be more pleased. Thank you David for an awesome night!

Our wedding dance floor was filled and full of smiles (and rockin' bodies) thanks to the amazing DJ David Cutler! I chose David based on so many positive reviews I read online, his affordability and what's included in his packages, and after speaking with him myself, he had the positive energy and attitude I was looking for in a DJ for our event. I told him we had a big mixed family for the wedding - Persian and Mexican mainly - and he was super excited. He was able to answer all of our questions ahead of the wedding, came out to check out the hotel space with us and work on lighting ideas, and was always available whenever we needed to work details out. He has a really helpful website used to organize songs, schedules, etc. for the day of that I found super useful.
On the day of our wedding, David was on-time, organized and on point with the music. I appreciated him checking in on me and the groom during the wedding, and he made sure our final few songs were exactly the way we wanted to end the night. Thanks David for being such an awesome addition to our wedding!

David was GREAT. Super professional and put together. His website was extremely easy to use. We asked for a few obscure movie soundtrack pieces to be played throughout our wedding, and David was extremely accommodating in getting those songs for us. I really appreciated his commitment to making sure we were hearing what we wanted to hear.

I ended up not spending as much time on the dance floor as I thought I would, but I could tell that he was playing the music we had on our must play list, and he was very good at gauging the floor. When one of our songs didn't land with our crowd and people started trickling away, he quickly and smoothly transitioned to a different, more popular song to bring everyone else back on the dance floor.

All of our guests had so much fun at our wedding, and we really felt that David honored all our requests to make our wedding as fun and dance-heavy as we wanted it to be! Never cheesy or intrusive, David was a perfect balance of making necessary announcements and commentary, and letting our event happen organically with his help in the background. If the music is an important part of the wedding experience for you, I would definitely recommend David!

He is so pleasant to work with and did such an amazing job incorporating the songs we had asked for with ones he picked that were perfect for the vibe of the crowd in that moment. Everyone was dancing all night and we had a ton of compliments on the music. Would 100% recommend him to any bride and groom!
