Hip Service was an absolute joy to work with!!! I got nothing but amazing about our wedding band. Everyone danced all night and they were so fun to watch, like we were at a concert or watching a live show! I recommend Hip Service for weddings, parties or any social event!!

I cannot even describe how incredible Hip Service was for our September wedding in Sonoma. I (the bride) prefer motown and my now husband is a huge classic rock fan. Hip Service combined both of our styles and performed such a high energy, mellow when appropriate, performance. Also, they learned "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin for our first dance; not an easy guitar challenge. They nailed it and more! I was blown away. Additionally, my now husband surprised me by singing and playing guitar, requiring a practice session with the band. The band was so thoughtful and also gave him great tips as he performed. I will ask Hip Service to play at ANY party we have and will tell all friends getting married in San Francisco and beyond to hire them. I cannot even properly express how awesome this band was at our black tie wedding and I can be hard to please ;).

You guys are awesome. Had everyone dancing on the dance floor. You guys are the best wedding band I have heard.

I cannot recommend Steve and Hip Service more. We planned a destination wedding in Tahoe (from NYC!) via email and phone, and Steve was incredibly responsive, professional and patient with us and all of our questions. The day of the wedding I have NO DOUBT that everything would go off without a hitch because of their attention to detail and the countless hours Steve spend on the phone with us.

The band even surprised us a week before our wedding by learning a pretty obscure song for our first dance (Shine a Light by the Rolling Stones) and KILLED IT, to the point that the band cut out and one point so everyone could clap along with the lead singer. It was honestly my favorite moment of the whole day.

WOW, HIP Service was amazing. They totally far exceeded our expectations for the wedding ceremony and reception. From young to old all ages truly enjoyed themselves all night long. We have had nothing but compliments from so many of our guests. We had over 300 guests and their music touched every age group. I would highly recommend them over and over.

Amazing! This exuberant band added to an already phenomenal day! Steve and Hip service were flawless entertainers! What talent they have! There is nothing we would change! It was perfection from the first meeting until the last dance; everything ran smoothly. Thank you for making the wedding so much fun for us.

Hip Service met every expectation and went beyond. They were the easiest and most flexible of all the vendors we delt with in planning our wedding. They brought a tremendous amount of energy to our reception. The music and range of cover songs was amazing. Many of our guests were simply shocked at how good they sounded, and "best band ever" was a common comment after our wedding day. Thank you, Steve!

If I could give HIP Service 10 out of 5 stars, I would. From the moment that I contacted them, Steve was extremely responsive, prompt, and professional in my requests. As a pretty go-with-the-flow bride, it was nice to get an email update from Steve's staff as the wedding day drew closer. With all the other details of the wedding going on, it was nice to not have to worry about the entertainment.

From the second the music started, people were on the dance floor. We had quite a few "adults" (friends of our parents in their 50s/60s) and a good number of our friends (20s/30s) and everyone was able to dance to every song. One thing that I especially loved is that there weren't any stops between songs. It kept the party going!

Even though the wedding was a month ago, I still am getting responses from people about how much fun the band was. I am SO extremely happy that I chose to go with HIP service. Go ahead and call around to other bands and I guarantee that you won't feel as comfortable or satisfied as you will with HIP Service!

Hip Service was unbelievable! I had never seen them perform and hired them purely on a friends recommendation for my wedding and they were worth every penny! They were so easy to work with and put on such a great show. At the end of the night you could not get the guests off the dance floor because they were having such a great time! I would highly recommend them for any event ...especially a wedding. I had many guests tell me they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding!

I cannot recommend Hip Service with more enthusiasm than I am doing! They were awesome. My daughter got married a couple of months ago, and Hip Service was better than we could have asked for. From the moment we signed them up, I was excited. Steve was great to work with. The band learned a new song for us, Steve arranged a conference call between me, my daughter (the bride), our DJ and himself to go over every detail and how everything was going to flow. When the band started playing, it was amazing! They provided quieter music for cocktail hour - and after dinner really got things going! I was walking back from the restroom at one point and noticed that there was NOT ONE person sitting at their table. Literally every single guest was on the dance floor practically the entire evening - just what we were hoping for!
Amy's wedding was amazing. The venue (a winery) was perfect. The flowers were spectacular. Our wedding planner was unbelievable. The food was incredible - both the bride and groom are chefs. But I have to say, I think the band made the wedding!!

One of Amy's bridesmaids is getting married next month, and she booked Hip Service because of our wedding. I am so excited to go to that wedding, and spend another evening dancing and partying with Hip Service.

I am so happy with this band! Our guests were so impressed with how professional their set up was and also their showmanship was fantastic. I would recommend this band to everyone who wants lie entertainment for their wedding reception. I would also hire them again for future events.

Hip Service played at my wedding on June 24th. They MADE our wedding. They took the crowd from level 5 to 10 and everyone (250 People) danced until they stopped. They learned two special songs and were completely professional each step of the way. I can’t say into words how much I loved them!!! Wish I could do it all over again!!! Thank you!!

Hip Service was fantastic to work with. Steve and team were not only incredible during our reception, they helped us with ceremony music (we had our own singer). We just wished we could have danced to the band longer ... we received a ton of positive comments from our guests.
